Golf Caddies An Endangered Species

Golf caddies are an endangered species in the world of modern golf. It seem that the only time you see a caddie is at PGA events on the television. In this setting you see that caddies are an integral part of the team. You observe them giving valuable tips and insight to the pro as well as carrying the bag, maintaining the golf clubs and accessories. You wonder where the pros find their caddies since there aren’t any at the local courses or country clubs. Its kind of a joke about golf being good exercise these days when everyone rides around on electric or gas powered golf carts.

Having worked as caddie for my grandfather and his friends I have an appreciation of what golf has lost in terms of tradition and richness. No one knows who was the first caddie but considering the ancient history of European golf the first caddies where most likely the servants of noblemen. Of course many golfers know the history of St Andrews caddie William Gunn, locally known as Caddie Willie. He was a professional caddie that spent his entire life the famous golf course. He was an encyclopedia of golf swing tips, course layout and putting tips that he provided to all his clients,

In the past being a caddie was the fastest way to learn the game of golf. Many caddies went on to become pros themselves after spending their youth on the local links. They learned what a good golf swing was and what proper dress and etiquette is required to be a golfer. In 1913 a caddie by the name of Francis Oimet won the US open defeating Harry Vardon and Ted Ray two world famous and accomplished golf pros. When interview by the press he readily stated that the secret of this success was being a caddie for several good golfers who showed him the ropes. He developed his good golf swing and list of putting tips from his clients. Almost all of his golf instruction he learned as a caddie.

Apparently the first golf cart was invented in 1940 and ever since the golf caddie was doomed. Golf carts are now everywhere and come in electric and gas versions. However golf carts do a lousy job of giving golf swing tips or putting tips to the golfers they serve. They also do a poor job of providing course advice as well. Occasionally you will see a few players pulling their own carts on the courses in an effort to get the exercise benefit that once accompanied the game. However most of us cannot remember when we saw the last caddie following walking golfers. Sadly golf has lost much of its character now that golf caddies no longer ply their trade on the local golf courses.

How to Get Rid Of Those Pesky Limiting Core Beliefs Forever

One of the most limiting core beliefs foisted upon us starting in our childhood is that in order to be successful at anything, we must choose one thing and stick with it. This advice was generally offered in good faith from those trying to be supportive. However, that seemingly positive belief has wreaked havoc to varying degrees in the lives of those of us who were never meant to choose just one thing. We are just not wired that way. So we came to believe there must be something wrong with us. This belief has been very limiting to me.

When I realized limiting core beliefs were instrumental in holding us back from accomplishing our desires, I wanted to know how to stop that from occurring over and over. I did not want it to be a wrestling match. I wanted them gone with no angst and no long arduous process. So ever true to the old adage that “when you are ready the teacher appears,” I found out about Byron Katie and what she calls “The Work.” The Work is simply four questions that, when applied to a specific problem, enable you to make a significant shift that can change your life forever. Here I share with you how I applied The Work to this limiting core belief that has held back many aspiring renaissance people from achieving their dreams.

Limiting Core Belief: To be successful, I must choose just one thing and stick with it.

Question One: Is this true?
Yes. There seems to be plenty of proof that this is true. It is what parents, teachers, career counselors, and others told me or implied most my life.

Question Two: Can I absolutely know that this is true?
No I can’t. There are people who are successful juggling a multitude of interests.

Question Three: How do I react when I think this limiting core belief?
Angry, frustrated, sad, claustrophobic or fenced-in, and lacking somehow. I would be bored out of my mind. It is impossible for me to pick just one thing, so there must be something wrong with me. I even feel kind of rebellious - no one can make me choose just one thing!

Question Four: Who would I be without that thought?
I would be free to choose a multitude of things I love to put together my version of a successful life. Without that limiting thought I am lighter and happier. I feel like I can breathe again. Anything is possible. Whew, I feel like I just took off a girdle.

Turn the underlying belief around:
To be successful, I must choose many things and stick with them only for as long as I choose.
To be unsuccessful (and miserable), I must choose just one thing and stick with it.

Are these turnarounds as true or truer than the original belief?
Absolutely!

Pocket Street Bikes - For Great Rides

Want to impress the chick you pass on your way to work daily, who just gape on the hunks riding motorcycles? But alas you are neither a hunk nor can you afford to buy a motorcycle now. Here pocket street bikes come to your rescue, I mean rescuing the eyes of the girl from other guys to feast on you. Does it sounds too good to be true? Then wait! There are more to come!

The World Of Pocket Street Bike

A pocket street bike is petite and sleek versions of a motorcycle. A ride on a pocket street bike will provide you with the same thrill of biking on a motorcycle. Most of the pocket bikes are exact copy of the racing motorcycles in craftsmanship, proportion and detail. So pocket bikes have all the gears of a full-scale motorbike like racing tires, twist grip, lightweight alloy frame, disc brakes and acceleration control.

These bikes run on either gas or electric. There is an option of buying kits to modify this bike into an open class machine. The gasoline powered road bikes reach up to a speed of 35mph or even 50 mph in an open class machine. The electric run bikes are recharged with rechargeable batteries.

About Racing

The pocket bikes are used for races, in Australia, it is developed into a race unto itself christened “minimoto” racing. However, some people say that this races originated in Italy.

Now Some Good Scoops About Pocket Bikes

Other than creating impressions on pretty girls, pocket bikes have other pros too, like:

A pocket street bike, because of its small figure, can be cuddled into any small space and it is not difficult to store this bike, but remember to store it properly in any garage or shed.

A pocket street is good for racing which provides some sparkling fun. As these bikes are small the ride should be confined to secluded spaces free from dangers and heavy traffic.

The Safety Measures

Ride the bike equipped with proper riding gear like helmets and elbow pads, kneepads gloves and shoes to prevent injuries.

Take due care of yourself and other pedestrians and motorists while driving.

The Legal Side About Your Pocket Street Bike

Though a pocket street bike is meant for streets, in most of the states riding a pocket street bike on public streets is not legal. Check the legal provisions before buying a pocket street bike.

Some Tips

Communicate with your local Department Of Motor Vehicles and check whether you can ride your pocket street bike on street. If riding is permitted then find out other requirements that should be met before bringing the pocket street bike on street. Also, ask which roads are legal for a pocket street bike.

Then you have to check the minimum age for driving a pocket street bike on street. Ask the DMV about licensing information as well. Get an insurance company to insure your pocket bike and get a registration and a license plate for your bike.

Clear up these bumps and just set on for an exciting journey.

Want To Cure Diaper Rash? Just A Few Short Days With Fitted Cloth Diapers Will Do It!

Diaper rash is the bane of almost any parent’s existence. You know exactly what I’m talking about - that rash of nasty, red bumps that make even the sweetest baby irritable. And yes, I’m being polite when I say “irritable”…changing the diaper of a baby with diaper rash can require ear plugs to survive.

But diaper rash doesn’t have to be so difficult! In fact, it can be quite easy to clear diaper rash up and keep it away for good. My secret diaper rash cure and preventative? Fitted cloth diapers.

Save Time! Diaper Rash Needs Air

Common diaper rash is an irritation of the tender skin of the bottom and/or genitals. In order to clear up a skin irritation like diaper rash, your skin needs air. With today’s disposable diapers, there is no air reaching Baby’s bottom. And letting Baby run around without a diaper is quite a messy proposition.

With fitted cloth diapers, you get the best of both worlds. Most fitted cloth diapers are made from natural, breathable fabrics like cotton and hemp. These fibers allow air to circulate around Baby’s bum. This heals diaper rash much more quickly than attempting to do so without air.

Save Money! Most Diaper Rash Doesn’t Need Expensive Creams

Since common diaper rash is simply a skin irritation, allowing it to heal in the air on its own is more than good enough. By using fitted cloth diapers on your baby while he has diaper rash, you’ll eliminate the need to purchase and try several different types of diaper creams. With these creams each costing several dollars, these savings can more than make up for the cost of the fitted diapers themselves.

Now, please note that I said “most” diaper rash. If your baby’s diaper rash lasts more than a few days and/or is accompanied by blisters or open sores, please consult with your child’s physician. This likely isn’t common diaper rash and may need a prescription medicine to cure.

Save Frustration! Keep Diaper Rash from Coming Back

Fitted cloth diapers are a great way to clear up diaper rash, there’s no doubt about that. And for many parents, they’re just a temporary solution to a temporary problem. They don’t have to be temporary, though; switching to fitted diapers full time can help keep diaper rash from coming back.

For many babies, their skin is super sensitive to a variety of things in the environment. This can include the paper and chemicals that make up disposable diapers. Many parents find that, by switching to cloth diapers full time, they’re able to not only cure diaper rash but keep it away as well.

If you’re dealing with diaper rash, it’s time to try fitted cloth diapers. Pick up a few today, and you will be amazed with both how much they help cure your baby’s diaper rash and how much you truly enjoy cloth diapering.

As an experienced cloth diapering mom, Amanda White is well-versed in what it takes to make cloth diapers work for almost every family. Whether you’re new to the cloth diaper scene or a seasoned veteran, she has a story for you! She’s put together a FREE collection of her favorite fitted cloth diaper tips for you to use for your family today - http://www.fittedclothdiaper.net

Outsourcing To The Philippines

Companies looking to build websites, outsource programming work, and outsource web content on a budget should seriously look at outsourcing to the Philippines. Its capital (Manila) is home to well-educated, English-speaking programmers and web writers who deliver top-quality work for lower rates.

However, as in all off-shoring projects, there are risks in outsourcing to Manila. Here is a short guide to help you dodge

How much does it cost to outsource programming to the Philippines?

Prices still vary depending on the scope of project, but in most cases, you can probably save about 50% by hiring Filipino programmers. If an American firm quotes $5,000 for a project, for example, you can expect a Philippine web company to quote $2,500.

Just make sure to plan out your site and discuss all functionalities and features you want integrated before you close the deal. Last-minute changes may cost you a lot more.

How much does it cost to outsource web content to the Philippines?

Filipino writers usually charge 1/3 of the regular rate of native English speakers. The current average rate of American writers is usually $15 per 300 words. You can get the same word count for about $5 if you hire Filipino writers. Grammar is usually flawless because Filipino writers are trained heavily in technical writing.

Is communication a problem?

The Philippines was colonized by the United States, so it is very much westernized.
Most Filipino professionals are very good English speakers and are very aware of Western trends and behavior. You do not need to worry about cultural and language barriers.

The only problem you may encounter when outsourcing to the Philippines is that you may need to rely on emails, phone calls, or web conferences. The time difference is huge, so you (or the Philippine company you are outsourcing to) may need to agree on a bizarre time of the day to discuss business.

How do I know that the Filipino company I am hiring is legitimate?

As in any country, the Philippines has had some illegal ‘boiler room’ operations - these were quickly apprehended by the government, though. Still, you must be picky when hiring a Filipino writers and Filipino programmers. Protect yourself from unscrupulous companies or freelancers by taking time to check out the company. Here are some handy pointers to keep in mind:

1.-If you are looking to outsource a big project, it is best to contact the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission to verify the company. Wikipedia also has a list of Philippine companies.

2.-Legitimate Philippine outsourcing companies are very professional - they reply to your emails right away, are always available for meetings, and are not afraid to give you the contact numbers of other US- of UK-based companies they are working with so you can verify their legitimacy.

3.-Genuine programming companies in the Philippines have actual offices and actual employees. You can gauge the success of a company by looking at its address - if it is located in the Philippines’ technical hubs, namely Makati, Ortigas, Libis, Quezon City, and Cebu, then you know that you are dealing with a legitimate company.

4.-Talk to representatives from the company. Sometimes, an email or phone call is not enough. Set up a web conference so you can see each other. Face to face communication does not just facilitate better meetings - it also gives you a chance to check out the company’s office and assess its professionalism.

Free Exercise Tips And Fitness Motivation

Do you find exercise to be a chore? Does it seem to be difficult to keep it up? Many people start with great intentions and are determined to start off with a fitness program that is going to change their lives/health/fitness overnight. It doesn’t happen. You know the pattern - start full of enthusiasm and then day by day the regime gets a little shorter, the effort to keep going seems harder to find.

Don’t worry, everyone has exactly the same problem. We all go through just the same thing. All the exercise guru’s and fitness trainers stand there and tell you how great you are going to feel and how they are going to change your life. Then things fade off and a few months down the line you are still sitting on the couch wishing that you were like the guys you are watching on the TV.

OK. Lets try and address what’s going on here. First off, don’t believe that you are alone. The vast majority of people are in the same boat and have exactly the same problems. So, you want to be healthier and feel fitter, more vibrant and generally get that energy boost that everyone seems to go on about. Does it all sound like too much effort?

I would advise that first you ensure that you are getting all the vitamins and minerals that your body needs. If you are short of anything in the nutritional sense then you will not feel like doing anything much. You will lack energy and not get around to even feeling like exercising. Ensure your diet includes the basic ‘5 a day’ fruit and veg, or if not take supplements. A good multivitamin daily is good. Get one that includes iron - needed for the red blood cells. You won’t feel like doing anything much if you are in any way anaemic. Also vitamin b complex is good to take regularly. A brewers yeast tablet daily will supply the vitamin b’s. Extra energy can be attained by using other supplements such as Ginseng - an ancient Chinese remedy which is gaining in popularity in the Western world.

Making sure you are well balanced from the inside will help to give you a feeling of well-being which in turn will make you feel more like keeping up with a fitness program. Eat regularly, little but often, and drink plenty of water. Limit the alcohol! Right, enough of the lecturing. How can we get the body exercising?

Fitness comes from exercising the body. Its as simple as that.

Next fact; people are lazy. They don’t like exercising. Sitting on a couch is easier. Doing nothing is the simplest path. Now here is the major point of all this. The way your body is built is that it will follow the easy route and settle into the easy way, unless convinced otherwise. Once it starts getting regular exercise it will actually begin to crave more! Your body will ask you for more exercise when it starts to feel better - it maybe a strange way to think but this is important. Listen to your own body. Give it a little teaser. Take it for a walk each night. Just half a mile down the road and back. After week give it a little extra, a brisker walk and a longer distance.

A week later, your body is saying to you that it wants a little more. You will feel like helping it. Go on, indulge it, try getting on that stepping machine. A short time a day. Turn on the TV and do it when watching your regular programs. The main thing to remember is that even after a little exercise, you body will start to ask you for more. Go along with it.

Make sure that you use different exercise machines, to add variation and interest. You’ve probably got them all - exercise bike, elliptical cross trainer, weights, rowing machine. All the things you have seen and bought before and not used. Well dust them off, and use them while you are watching your TV or DVD’s, it keeps your mind occupied while you are exercising and stops you getting bored.

Above all else, make it interesting. Use any means you can. Music, DVD’s, TV, audio cassettes, it doesn’t matter. Plug your iPod or MP3 in. Get two machines and compete with your partner - make it a race! Or just compare distance/repetitions as recorded on the digital readouts. Do some exercise on one machine and then jump onto another. Keep changing - make a mental game of it - imagine you in a Decathlon. Don’t stick to one machine. Keep changing, keep interested. Boredom is the killer in this - don’t give it a chance!

So, the most important fact to digest is the one that says your body will not only accept exercise but will actually ask you for more. Start it off and your own body will beg for more. Once started this is self generating! You just have to go along with it.

“All Hazards” - More than Disaster Preparedness

In the years since 9/11, those in disaster planning, preparation, education, response and recovery have concentrated all their effort on convincing private healthcare corporations and non-healthcare corporations alike to adopt an all hazards approach to adversity and disaster.

Perhaps because 9/11 and anthrax were the impetus for the funding of this push, corporate America has associated this large expense with what they believe to be an unlikely threat, terrorism. The 2004 - 2005 hurricane seasons gave the southeastern regions of the United States a clear focus for disaster preparedness in the forms of hurricanes Charlie, Francis, Ivan, Jeanne, Katrina, Rita and Wilma. Unfortunately with this focus came a tendency to prepare for hurricanes, certainly not an all hazards approach.

The simple fact missed by all but a very few in the disaster community and even fewer in the disaster planning, preparation, education, response and recovery industry is that the word “disaster” does not belong in the title. We are not a “disaster” community, nor are we in the “disaster” planning, preparation, education and recovery industry; rather we are the “All Hazards” planning, preparation, education and recovery community.

Before you assume this is simply a matter of semantics, think about what we seek to accomplish. Our “All Hazards” community does not just seek to prepare for the possible of a terrorist attack or a natural disaster, we seek to fundamentally change attitudes and behaviors so that when adversity strikes or disaster looms large on the horizon, our citizens, our communities and our infrastructure are prepared. Our true goal is to never again see a line at Home Depot or the grocery store the day before or the day after a disaster.

This is not a new concept. The practice of vulnerability analysis and risk assessment is well established in many safety sensitive industries and in the military. The Institutes of Medicine first applied this practice to the healthcare industry in the 1999 To Err Is Human report. Far from a treatise on disaster preparation, To Err is Human was the warning siren that brought the issues of patient safety and medication errors to the public forum.

Although voluminous, the main thrust of To Err is Human was to review the lack of reporting systems and fail safes in the healthcare system as a whole and to correlate the current state of safety in healthcare to that of other industries. To Err is Human goes to great lengths to detail “public-private” safety efforts, but overall the report proposes the groundwork and a justification for governmental intervention and federal regulation of healthcare safety and by implication, healthcare quality/certification.

If this sounds a lot like the trio of 2006 Institute of Medicine reports on the state of Emergency Medicine and disaster preparedness, it is very similar. The 2006 reports when combined with the 1999 To Err is Human report demonstrate the similarity between community wide disasters and patient centered disasters. A true “All Hazards” approach to preparedness thus should include patient safety, medication safety, fire safety and personal safety in addition to the current concentration on terrorism and disaster preparedness.

There are a number of advantages to this expanded “All Hazards” approach to safety, planning and preparedness. The greatest of these is the integration of patient safety initiatives and disaster preparedness training allowing healthcare professionals to practice disaster preparation skills as part of their daily routine. This has applications in team building, triage, safety reviews, command structures, patient throughput and literally every aspect of hospital operations.

The implications go far beyond the immediate process improvements that come from an “All Hazards” training program. The mind set that is instilled in those trained in an “All Hazards” approach to daily operations lends to innovations in operational processes and streamlining of previously entrenched systems.

“All Hazards” training also creates the “common safety investment” that the To Err is Human states is missing from healthcare, but common to such industries as air travel and railroads (pilots and engineers share the same “safety investment” as passengers). Those who have received “All Hazards” training come to understand and internalize that reality that any risk that exists for a patient exists for the healthcare professional as well.

Finally, recognizing patient safety issues and all the other safety issues in healthcare as hazards under an “All Hazards” approach will result in better success in achieving both sets of goals. Patient safety initiatives celebrate their seventh anniversary this year, but even the CEO of the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) admits that medication error and wrong site surgery have grown exponentially in that time. Despite a virtually limitless budget and the best efforts of the best minds in patient safety, healthcare has not gotten better, it has gotten more dangerous.

At the same time, the past five years has seen hospital and healthcare disaster preparedness change only marginally. The 2006 Institute of Medicine reports severely criticizes healthcare for failing to invest in “All Hazards” preparedness despite the fact that it has been proven effective not only in increasing security, but increasing surge capacity, safety and efficiency. For “All Hazards” preparedness, the problem is not having the budget to apply a proven and effective solution.

Dealing with patient risks, medication errors and surgical mishaps as another category of hazards under an all encompassing “All Hazards” approach promises to solve the problems for both programs. Patient safety will benefit from the proven efficacy of an “All Hazards” approach designed specifically to mitigate multifactorial risk while “All Hazards” training programs will finally have the budget priority and funding needed to ensure system wide implementation.

The only question remaining is whether those who have made their careers in patient safety as it has been practiced for the past seven years are prepared to adopt a broader view of the world and whether the “All Hazards” community is ready to be truly “All Hazards” in their approach.

Aromatherapy For Natural Headache Relief

If you are looking for a natural headache relief, you can consider aromatherapy. This form of relief option will be useful especially if you have to deal with chronic headaches or migraines as a part of your ongoing life. You can avoid adverse side effects when you reduce your reliance on drugs for headache relief.

Aromatherapy is an ancient healing method of using essential oils. These oils come from plants with healing properties. Essential oils can help to improve health and produce an overall feeling of well being. You can use aromatherapy essential oils in one of two ways. You can either massage them into your skin or simply inhale them. For headache relief, you will want to make sure that the oils are 100% pure.

For headaches, the essential oils that you should use include lavender, peppermint, sandalwood or eucalyptus herbal oils. You can purchase them in many places. Combinations of these also work pretty well. However, you need to know how to mix them in the right proportions so that they are safe and effective.

Aromatherapy for headaches can be used in a few different ways. The first way is to place 2 drops of lavender on each of your temples and then rest. In about 20 minutes your headache should be gone. You can also make a facecloth into a compress by adding 5 drops of water to either warm or cold water. Then, place the facecloth in the water. This compress can then be placed on either your face or your neck while you relax.

There are other ways in which you can use aromatherapy for natural headache relief. If you have a diffuser, scent the air for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. You could also relax in a bath of 8 drops of essential oils and 1 teaspoon of unscented bath oil. Another method is to inhale the essential oils out of a bowl of hot water while your head is covered with a cloth, with your eyes closed. If you do this for 5 minutes, your headache may just go away. However please refrain from using this method, if you have a respiratory condition like asthma.

Ginger is another essential remedy if you suffer from nausea together with your migraine headaches.

Aromatherapy is an effective natural headache relief that you should really consider exploring. You would need to have an understanding of the different essential oils and how to use them. Get this information from books or see an aromatherapist.

5 Tips For A Successful Home Buying Seminar

One of the very best ways to bring in qualified real estate leads - whether you’re a mortgage broker, real estate agent or investor - is a home buying seminar. There is on small challenge with putting on a home buying seminar, however! Most people that are in real estate are not in the business of promoting seminars, home buying seminars in particular.

The good news is that with a little planning and marketing, you can hold successful home buying seminars month after month. And the even better news is that most of the country is right in the midst of a “buyer’s” market, so what better time to hold a home buying seminar?

There are 5 tips that will help ensure a successful home buying seminar.

Tip 1 - Target your market!
If you’ve heard it once, you’ve heard a thousand times when it comes to real estate. You have to pick your target market! This takes some planning on your part to really decide who you want to attract to your home buying seminar. It’s easy to think to yourself that anyone looking for a home is a likely candidate for a home buying seminar. But… that’s not necessarily true! There are going to be certain “types” of buyers that are most likely to attend your event. A few examples of likely candidates for your home buying seminar are first time home buyers, people in a specific city or zip code, community personnel (doctors, firefighters, nurses, teachers, etc.), etc. You’ll want to make sure that the people you market to can afford the homes you want to sell!

Your target audience is not likely going to be second home buyers or vacationers unless you’re in the timeshare business!

Tip 2 - Select a location to hold your home buying seminar
Where are you going to hold your home buying seminar? There are many options and it may depend on who you are attracting to your event. For instance, if you are targeting a certain zip code, consider holding your home buying seminar at the local library. If you’re targeting first time homebuyers throughout the county, consider a centrally located hotel or auditorium. Be conscious of the costs and be sure to know the rules of negotiating with hotels BEFORE you get into any contracts.

Tip 3 - Select the right day and time for your home buying seminar
Different days will bring different numbers - and types - of attendees! If you can get the facility for several time slots, consider having an afternoon session and early evening session. This will allow people that work day jobs to attend the home buying seminar after work and it will also allow people that have night jobs or evening obligations to attend your seminar. You may even consider having a “lunch and learn” sponsored by vendors like title companies, home inspection companies, insurance companies, etc.

Tip 4 - Marketing your home buying seminar
Marketing is key for any seminar, but even more so for a home buying seminar. You may consider buying a list from a list broker, posting “bandit” signs throughout the community, hanging flyers in local stores, sending out a postcard sequence, a classified ad in the homes section of the newspaper, online advertising, press releases to the media, little league fields, etc. This comes back to your target market! Where do they go and what do they do?

Tip 5 - Present valuable information and provide follow up support
The hard part’s over! You’ve got your attendees in the door and now it’s time to present the meat and potatoes of your home buying seminar. If you’re not comfortable with the content, consider inviting professionals to teach the content and you simply serve as the emcee and hold the event together. Things that are important to people attending a home buying seminar are: financing programs, tax benefits of home ownership, what to look for in a home inspection, and how to protect themselves at closing. Here’s a sample schedule for a 90 minute home buying seminar:

0:00 - 0:05-Introduction
0:05 - 0:20-Financing options presented by mortgage broker
0:20 - 0:35-What to look for in a home inspection by an inspector
0:35 - 0:50-How to protect yourself at closing by a real estate attorney
0:50 - 1:05-Tax benefits of homeownership by a CPA
1:05 - 1:15-Wrap up and thank them for attending
1:15 - 1:30-Prequalification/property requirements

Use these 5 tips to promote a successful home buying seminar and be sure to team up with other professionals for content. This positions you as the expert because you’ve brought your team together. Plus, you’re able to split costs - and leads - with the each other. It’s a win/win all around.

However there are other methods that you may want to try if you do not happen to have a head unit that has an auxiliary in feature with it. Below we look at some other ways in which you should be able to play your mp3 player in your car in the future.

Cassette Tape Adapter

This device is available for around $10 and can be found in most electronic stores. It provides you with an easy and straightforward method of hooking up an external device such as an mp3 player to your car stereo system. All you have to do is place the cassette tape in to the car’s tape player and then attach the other end to the headphone or line out jack situated on your mp3 player.

However, there are a number of drawbacks to this method. Firstly you need to have cassette player in your car (which unfortunately is becoming much less common in more modern cars) and secondly you will often the sound quality is reduced.

FM Transmitter

This system will transmit an audio signal of the your mp3 player to a specified FM frequency when it is plugged into the FM transmitter. What happens is your FM stereo in your car is then able to pick up the sounds as if it was actually receiving a regular FM broadcast from a radio station.

So as you can see there are plenty of ways to answer the question how can I use my mp3 player in my car. All you need to decide is which one you feel best suits your particular needs.
