Relax in a Spa at Home - Bathroom Jacuzzi Makeover

Is your bathroom giving you the blues? Maybe it’s time for a bathroom where you can get comfortable and unwind from the long day. There are few must-haves for making your bathroom into a place that feels like a day at the spa.

Remodeling your bathroom can be fun, but it takes a little planning. A good place to start is by looking at pictures to determine what best suits your needs. And you also need to take a look at placement. Think outside the box and look at rearranging your current setup. You might be able to make your bathroom seem more spacious if you are willing to look at changing where you put cabinets or the bathtub, for instance.

In deciding your layout, you will want to know what type of products you want in your bathroom. A very popular addition to many bathrooms is a Jacuzzi tub, or any whirlpool tub for that matter. And the good news is that it is more affordable than you think. Not only does a Jacuzzi give you the relaxation and comfort you seek after a long day, it adds value to your home as well. You can also spice up your bathroom with a sauna or steam shower. Consider the space you have and how much time you want to spend on your project, and then get out the tape measure and get to work.

When you are ready to start shopping to make your bathroom into your own personal spa and Jacuzzi, you need to be ready with measurements. Knowing how much space you have gives you an idea of how much room you have for that Jacuzzi. Not ready to take on a huge remodel? Then you might consider a modular sauna, which takes the hassle out of having to install something so big. But the most important factor in choosing a sauna or whirlpool is finding something that will make you comfortable. So choose based on what you find relaxing.

And seemingly small things can make a big difference. One of the favorites for making anyone feel warm and cozy in their Jacuzzi is being able to step onto heated floor tile. On those cold winter mornings, heated tile keeps your feet from turning into icicles.

Don’t underestimate the power of color as you look for tile and decor. Autumn colors and tones can make a Jacuzzi feel warm and inviting. Sharp colors tend to be less relaxing and don’t add as much to the atmosphere. Look to match color tones and design as you choose your tile and tub. If you have a plain solid look for your Jacuzzi or sauna, for example, choose wallpaper that has more design. Remember, planning is vital to making your bathroom feel like the spa. And if you plan well, it just may be an even better experience than going out!

NFL Football Party is Great for All Fans

Paper party goods for an NFL Football themed party are excellent for use in any season. A fan is a fan in the off season too! There really is no time when a fan doesn’t enjoy being reminded of his favorite team sport.

Is there anything that a high school or college football player would rather celebrate with than NFL Football themed paper party goods? Brightly colored streamers, balloons, centerpieces and tablecloths in a favorite team’s colors can be used with more generic NFL Football decorations.

A cake and ice cream menu will always look great when served on a favorite team sport decorated plate. The effect goes a little farther when the cake is decorated as a playing field or team jersey.

Snacks of chips and dip served in football helmet bowls are old standbys but in season hollowed out gourds filled with bowls full of snacks help to add a seasonal theme. For grown-up occasions a giant chrysanthemum bouquet is an excellent complement to this particular party theme.

Small children might enjoy an indoor game of paper football — the same one that high schoolers play in study halls. When available foosball games are a good substitute for actual football. Perhaps for some guest lists actual games of touch or even tackle football are permissible if everyone attending is aware of this beforehand and attends in casual clothing to play.

Don’t make the mistake of ruling out the NFL Football game theme for a girl’s party! Gone are the days when girls are excluded from sports and many are huge fans. There’s really no reason for girls not to enjoy the same paper party goods and decorations for their parties. Of course they may want to enjoy some of the more traditional themes for little girls as well.

Mrs. Party… Gail Leino takes a common sense approach to planning and organizing events, celebrations and holiday parties with unique ideas for NFL Football party supplies and fun free educational party games. On Top Of The World

Somewhere in the middle of the Aegean Sea south of Greece mainland there is a little group of islands, you have probably heard about it: Santorini. These are not real islands, rather just peaks of a vulcan which had erupted then sunk few thousand years ago.

Since that time the belly of the mountain went cold so you the prospective visitor of the site should be concerned only of the outside temperature, which is defined by the heat coming down explicitly onto you from the Sun especially in July… and the other eleven months.

From Crete this tiny neighborhood is just a five-ten hour cruising depending how big the boat you boarded. After the first half an hour of your trip when you have already filled up by the azure and emerald waves you go downstairs to the crowded cafeteria and try to figure it out who is who, coming from where and what kind of language they are speaking. And just when you start to regret the whole idea of visiting Greece, suddenly on the horizon turns up a little dark spot half way between the emerald water and the deep blue sky: Santorini.

As you approach the islands you loose sense of reality and gain something dreamy and infinite. On the the ascent of the mighty rock emerging from the unbelievable blue sea, tiny houses are sitting on each other like white fluffs panting in the midday heat wave and forgetting to put down their little blue caps.

When the crew berth the ship and you land onto the small port and look around you can not see anything but the enormous rock zooming right in front of you. A narrow path leads up to the tip of the rock, but it does not seem convenient to climb and crawl up to the next shady spot. Your tour guide informs you, that you have two more options: hit the peak by riding a donkey or the tour bus. The latter seems the most reasonable solution until you realize that how uniform the human thinking is.

Lets hit the top by riding a donkey - you tell yourself - it is going to be fun, but the grim sight of the overused animals turned to the rocky wall and being fed up with the whole tourist business gives you second thoughts. You were right. Along the one hour walk up to the top you pass several Don Quixotes and Dulcineas balancing on the back of the exhausted and sad looking donkeys.

If you reach the top alive, your first thought is going to be like: it was worth it. It was worth it hopping over from America to Europe, pushing into the Aegean Sea and walking up on one of the hottest and bluff path in the world. Deep under your feet the ship you just left, like a white lily rolling calmly on the surface of the big water. You feel as you are on the top of the world and you are able to conquer anything.

Then you scroll around the tiny white painted, blue-capped houses, panting for cool breeze breaks forth from the small doors left open accidentally. You feel like you are lost not just in space but in time too. The islanders who had lived here for thousands of years overcoming the elements, heat, storms, earthquakes etc. but could not tolerate the tourists - escaped long time ago. But they left behind their precious homes which reminds the history lessons you had been taught.

After a cool beverage and a little cold-water splash, you hear the horn reminding you it is time to descend back to the port. You take a final look from the deck and sense a void in your heart which has been there from the beginning of times, but you have just realized it.

Use a Natural Remedy for Your Yeast Infection

Yeast infection is the name for a common infection caused by a type of yeast-like fungus called Candida. Women can rarely get a yeast infection from unprotected sex. Candida is not harmful to you.

It is better not to treat yourself without first speaking with your doctor. But, don’t forget that most doctors are not aware of natural remedies. Nevertheless, always consult a doctor but take the advice skeptically.

Some difficulties with yeast infection are intense itching which may lead to a skin infection if the skin is rubbed too raw. But usually there are no dangerous complications. Some ways the condition can be avoided are to refrain from hot tubs and scented pads and be sure to wear cotton underwear. Popular treatments for yeast infection include anti-fungal cream. These simple creams are put on the problem area every day for 1 week. Still, these are actually inferior to natural remedies.

Of course, the better approach to address yeast infections are with natural remedies. The popular over-the-counter remedies might make a yeast infection worse. The Truth About Detox

We are constantly filling our system with toxins. Bad habits like smoking and drinking clog our systems with poisons like alcohol and nicotine. Our modern lives heavy in processed foods clog our systems with much more refined sugar than we need. Our coffee cravings bring in the caffeine. Our bodies weren’t meant to hold all the junk we feed it with, hence the congestion and need to detox.

That’s not all, pollutants in the water and in our environment enter our system. Heavy metals like mercury, chemicals from our cleaners and pesticides poison us slowly. Our bodies have to work overtime to clean up the gunk. As the toxins build up, we experience diseases of excess. Clogged tissue and suffocated cells lead to more colds, allergies and chronic diseases that could have been prevented with the elimination of toxins. Symptoms of toxicity include headaches, joint pain, fatigue and digestive problems. If these bother you, it might be time for a detox.

You are what you eat. Did you realize how true that adage is?

If you want to detox, the first thing you should do is watch your diet. Start with your gastrointestinal system. That comprises of your mouth, teeth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon. Especially your colon. Do you know how much dried gunk gets stuck to the walls of the colon over the years? A good detox would include color cleansing as well as repopulation of your colon with good bacteria. In other words, get your bowels moving and eat yoghurt. Constipation is more common than we realize. The best way to deal with that is to include more fiber in your diet. Load up on fruit, vegetables and whole grain. Go for whole grain bread instead of white bread. Eat brown rice instead of white. Cut down on your sugar as sugar makes the gunk stick to your colon, making it harder to expel the waste. Cut down on soft drinks as well as alcohol and coffee.

Your liver is a major detoxification organ as it renders the poisons that enter your body harmless. It is often congested from overwork. The liver changes toxic substances into harmless matter that your blood would carry to your kidneys, or through the bile into the intestines. Your entire body helps in the detox process as waste leaves your body through the sweat, your skin being your largest detoxification organ. Water is required in all these processes so drink at least eight to ten large glasses of water daily.

When your body is loaded with toxins, it shows. Congested skin would probably break out in acne or boils or eczema. A person whose system is clogged with toxins is likely to be overweight and sluggish as well. Body fat stores the toxins, hence if you lose weight, you lose the fat and the toxins trapped in it. Detox programs include fasting, juice cleansing or at least a healthy diet and exercise.

One thing you must be careful about when you detox is that the detoxification process releases the toxins into your system, hence the withdrawal symptoms. I’m not talking only about drugs, I’m talking about the whole toxin overload thing, so when you detox, go slow. Especially if you use herbs or pills to help you detox. Drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins.

There are natural therapies that help you detox. Reflexology is a great way to destress, get your circulation going and stimulate your organs and systems to work more effectively. Your feet are a great starting point for your detox program. Read http://www.cosmeticsonline.info/where-to-get-foot-detox.htm for more details. There’s a detox system that uses herbs to cleanse your system internally. Heard of Detox 7? Here’s how it works. http://www.body-store.net/how-does-detox-7-work.htm

Do You Promote From Within?

Most organizations are proud of their practice of promoting their own employees.

  • It fosters your organization’s values and culture.

  • It provides opportunities for professional growth and advancement vital to retaining an engaged workforce.

The Pitfalls

Without proper precautions, promoting from within can be perilous. How? Well intentioned organizations take their super producers and promote them to super-visors without providing the new skills needed to succeed at the new position. The super producers who have mastered the technical aspects of their job suddenly need to utilize unrefined soft skills in their new management position. Skills like communication, motivation, delegation, time management and decision making are critical to success. Where do newly promoted supervisors acquire these skills? They’re super technicians! We assume they will be super managers?

A Familiar Example

How many times have you seen a top performing sales person fail when promoted to sales manager? What happens when this occurs?

  • The skills needed to succeed as a manager differ from those of a sales producer.

  • The previously super sales person struggles in his new role managing previous peers.

  • Sales force productivity and morale drops.

  • The promoted manager is either terminated or returns to the field either in disgrace or for a competitor.

What does this episode cost a company in lost sales and productivity? Is the same practice repeated in other departments with similar results?

Management eventually faces a dilemma.

Do you reprimand, demote or even terminate your former rising star?

What’s the Solution?

How do you promote your super technicians and super producers without jeopardizing productivity and the futures of your most promising talent? Understand there is a difference between promotions based on technical proficiency and developing your own leadership. The difference lies in assessing and developing the elements necessary to assure a new manager’s success.

Developing your own leadership requires robust processes for development of the people skills, attitudes and focus to assure promoted managers’ success.

Establishing programs for leadership development can avoid costly promotion failures and positively impact the bottom line by improving the effectiveness of your management talent.

An effective leadership development program could be considered as a promotion insurance policy that pays career long dividends.

Reason for Relationship - Agent of Change

Reason for Relationship

Building a strong relationship with youth is great but if we don’t impact the youth, then what are we really building the relationship for? Ultimately, we want to make a difference in the lives of youth.

People not Programs

It’s not about what programs you run, its about the people you want to impact. Having a whole slew of programs is great, fun, and exciting but is it life-changing? We are in the business of making a difference and changing lives. That means redefining attitudes and mindsets. That means challenging youth to get out of their comfort zone and push themselves to rise up to the next level. Note: we said “push themselves”, not you push them. The motivation to make changes in their lives should be intrinsic, that is, naturally and self-motivated. How’s that going to happen? Through your relationship with them and through your life example. We’ve already said, more is caught than taught. Youth are saying, “Your actions speak so loud, I can’t hear what you say.” We’re sure you’re feeling like, “Wow, that’s such a high standard. I’m not sure I’m up for that.” Don’t panic! Your life is a journey and a process just like your youth’s. With regards to your relationship, one of my favorite books says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Both you and your youth will feel challenged to do better; to grow beyond what you’re comfortable with.

Change Isn’t Easy

It’s like a crab shedding it’s shell. As a crab matures, it breaks out of its hard crusty shell and begins the process of forming a new one. Its life is marked by a passage through successive shells until a shell is built so durable that it cannot be broken. This shell stops growth and then becomes the crab’s coffin. Sometimes, all it takes for change to happen is the loving tap of a friend on our shells to realize that we have become confined and need to break out of a shell of comfort, a bad habit, or other qualities in our life that have confined us before the shell gets too hard and becomes a coffin. Change isn’t easy. It is natural for us to resist change, to step up into unexplored territory. Many times, we’ll elect to do it the way it’s always been done in order to avoid the agony of change. If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got. Other times, we choose not to say something or hesitate to act for fear we’ll say or do something wrong. Yes, you will make mistakes and you will fail but the only real failure is the failure to learn anything from your mistakes. Don’t beat yourself up that things didn’t happen according to plan and your youth aren’t responding at all to all your effort or if your youth program isn’t growing and you’re feeling the pressure for results from the top. Most supervisors will focus on results and numbers. It’s their responsibility to challenge you to do produce results to justify time and spending; your responsibility is to build people, not programs.

To Boldly Go…

This whole relationship building thing might be that unexplored territory that you’ve never stepped into before. Maybe you’ve always just run a program that is mainly centered on organizing activities for youth. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in the past; what matters is what you’re going to do from today onwards. Whatever you decide to do and whatever changes you’re even deciding to make right now in your lifestyle or the way you do youth work, always remember that the one underlying factor in everything we do should be love. We need to genuinely love our youth. Love that’s not motivated by selfish reasons or personal fulfillment; unconditional love. All the programs that we run, the activities we plan, the time we spend with our youth means nothing if we don’t genuinely, unconditionally love youth. But if you do love them, then that’s all the foundation you really need. We can teach you everything you need to know about youth work but if you never build that on the foundation of love, your whole program is going to collapse on you one day. That’s the one essential, over arching principle. Love your youth.

Key Leaning Points:

· The only failure in life is the failure to learn from your mistakes.

· Build people, not programs.

· Love your youth.

What Colleges Look For In Admitting Students

Colleges look at many different factors in deciding which students to admit. To complicate matters further, these factors, and the weight given to each, differs from school to school. However, in general terms, colleges are looking for students who have the academic ability to succeed at their school. They begin that process by looking at the courses taken in high school, the grades received, the student’s standing relative to their classmates, and their test scores. Once they have determined that a particular student could succeed academically, many schools will look at a variety of other factors. Some of the other factors are discussed below.

In general terms, larger state schools tend to rely more on grades and test scores. The smaller the school and the more selective the school, the more factors are generally considered in deciding whether to admit a particular student. To determine what factors for admission are looked at by any particular school you should ask an admission counselor from that school.

How To Know When You Are Getting Too Much Caffeine

Nine out of 10 Americans consume some type of caffeine on a daily basis. Beverages that contain caffeine are among the most popular behavior-altering drug or beverage available without prescription. Within an hour the affects of caffeine include a wide-eyed alert feeling, more energy and a drive toward productivity. It is no wonder so many people rely on daily doses of caffeine to battle fatigue and ill dispositions.

When is caffeine use considered to be too much? There are certain circumstances that call for reducing the amount of caffeine you consumer. Study after study suggests moderate caffeine intake is not likely to cause harm, however, too much can affect your health, and too much caffeine can be different for each individual. Heavy daily caffeine consumption is defined as more than 500 to 600 mg. a day, or about four to seven cups of coffee. Think about your daily caffeine habits and review the following. If any of these physical symptoms apply, you may need to cut back on your caffeine consumption.

• Restlessness
• Anxiety
• Irritability
• Muscle tremors
• Sleeplessness
• Headaches
• Nausea, diarrhea or other gastrointestinal problems
• Abnormal heart rhythms

If you have caffeine sensitivity just small amounts may cause unwanted physical symptoms such as anxiety, restlessness and irritability. The more sensitive you are to caffeine, the less you need to consume on a daily basis.

Each person’s caffeine sensitivity may depend on many factors that include:

• Body mass: If you have a smaller body mass you will probably feel the effects of caffeine sooner than those with larger body masses.

• History of caffeine use: If you are not a regular user of caffeine you may be more susceptible to its negative effects than are people who do.

• Stress: All types of stress can increase a person’s sensitivity to caffeine.

• Age

• Smoking habits

• Drug or hormone use and other health conditions such as anxiety disorders

Additional Factors that May Influence how your Body Reacts to Caffeine:

Chronically losing sleep due to the consumption of too much caffeine results in sleep deprivation. Sleep loss accumulates. Nightly decreases can add up and eventually start to disturb your daytime functioning. Sleep deprivation can cause impaired memory, mood swings, lack of concentration and poor performance at work or school. If you determine the cause of your sleep deprivation is too much caffeine, you need to cut back on the amount of caffeine you consume.

Some antibiotics such as Cipro and Noroxin can increase the length of time caffeine remains in your body and cause unwanted physical symptoms.

Theophylline used to open up bronchial airways sometimes has caffeine-like effects. Theophylline use along with caffeinated foods and beverages may increase the concentration of theophylline in your blood. Physical symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and heart palpitations may result.

The herbal dietary supplement of ephedra increases risk of heart attack, stroke, seizures and death. Ephedra combined with caffeine is even more risky. The Food and Drug Administration has banned ephedra in the marketplace because of the health concerns. The ban only applies to dietary supplements and not herbal teas that may contain the herb.

Your doctor or pharmacist is the best source to tell you whether or not caffeine might affect your prescription drugs.

Tips on How to Reduce Caffeine Consumption:

• Gradually reduce the amount of caffeine you consume. Drink one less can of soda, one less cup of coffee or a smaller cup of coffee each day.

• Replace caffeinated coffee, tea and soda with decaffeinated beverages

• Brew tea for less time to cut down on caffeine content, or choose herbal teas without caffeine stimulant

• Switch to caffeine-free versions of over-the-counter medications you take

For most adults, caffeine is a part of daily life and most often does not pose a health problem.

How A No Luck Online Writer Accidentally Started Writing Like A Pro

The most important thing that you need to know about affiliate marketing is that content is vital. Keep that in mind at all times. If you really want to experience online success then you need to learn what quality content can do for you.

Getting surfers to look at your website is not difficult at all. Getting them to read deeper than a couple of lines is a bit harder. That is were your quality content comes in. You must also know how to get links that point to your site.

These links should be links of some substance as you are expecting them to help you up the search engine ratings. So you must ensure the links are always from web pages that focus on the same topic as the articles they point to. Content relevance is crucial; otherwise you lose points with the search engines.

It is important that you write good articles that answer the questions your readers have in mind. This means finding a relevant topic, becoming thoroughly acquainted with it and analyzing possible solutions.

Pick a niche market, identify topics and start writing. Submit them to Article Directories and read them every now and then to see if your writing style is crystal clear. Do the ideas that you present stand out? Are they easy to grasp?

After a few weeks read your first set of articles again. You will be surprised at how poorly written they are. I certainly was when I read mine again. Write them over. Perhaps you may wish to write new ones that focus on the same topics and solutions, but this time use a different approach and wording.

After a while you will notice that your articles get a lot of attention because of the quality of content. Continue to write articles and get links. Write more articles and get more links. Repeat this process and people will look for your articles. The links and surfer clicks will give you good ratings and the original content will make you unique.

Seek to be unique when writing your articles. Yes, you should read articles of the best writers. If you do that you will most certainly get help with your own personal writing. Remember though, develop your own writing style.

Develop a long term mindset with your articles as well. If you are a person who demands immediate results, then perhaps writing articles is not the approach to marketing that you should employ. Articles are a long term strategy. You will not get rich quick writing articles. But they will give your online business a lucrative long term presence.

Write good articles, put in plenty of keywords naturally, make sure the links to the merchant website stand out and get other websites to link to you. These are just a couple of the internet affiliate marketing fundamentals. Employ them and you will see the benefits in no time flat.

Here is a complete starter business you can write interesting content for. A unique way that you can generate autopilot profits online. You will be amazed at how this simple autopilot system prints profits for you around the clock! Grab it here!
