Will You Be Living When The Sun Scorches Men With Fire?

By the time you will read this message the Inconvenient Truth, the documentary on global warming will be in your local video store on DVD and I suggest all you readers if you haven’t seen the film go and get yourself a copy.

I am a guy who cannot watch the news on Television without prophecies in the Bible coming to mind, and passages that I know about earth’s final days coming to mind.

As I sat and watched the fine documentary that shows a presentation by Al Gore on global warming one specific scripture verse in the Book of Revelation came to mind.
As they predicted in the film that temperatures were going to shoot up there was one scripture reference put in my mind by God’s Spirit. Today I am going to take the time to share it and in the coming months print many of these off and deliver them to common houses in some suburbs out my own pocket.

Let me share the scripture.
Revelation 16:8-9 (New King James Version)

8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

I am not sure about you, but the picture this verse paints is not an earth that I would want to be living on, and it’s not an earth that you’d want even your children to be living on. In fact, this is not an earth that God would want anyone to be living on and yet the verse says that people are living on the earth when the sun gets this hot and that they openly swear at God and curse Him for what he is doing to them.

In this country we have a sort of she will be right attitude but if things weren’t really going to be alright a good Aussie would warn his mates. In Australia we basically would like to help a person out down on his luck if we could, and when disaster hits we generally are quick to send help to the disaster zones.

It is with this attitude that I approach you. I implore you to take this letter and go see your local churches and seek this matter out more fully or email me at survivors.sanctaury@gmail.com

It is made quite clear in the Bible that people who are living a proper holy Christian life will be supernaturally taken off the earth before these bad things happen, but in my 40 years I have found that many people in Australia mistakenly seem to think they are going to go to heaven if they are basically a good person.

I am fortunate that I have a very good close relationship with Jesus Christ, and can hear Him speak to me in my mind as a thought and ask Him questions. I live my life getting told what I should do each week by God and I have a very fulfilling life. I am in no way trying insult you or convert you to my faith, it’s just that my faith’s holy book says things are going to get more then the predicted 6 degrees hotter in the next fifty years.

Choosing A Wedding Dress

If you’re like most girls, chances are, you’ve fantasized more about your wedding dress than you’ve fantasized about your groom. Yes, the wedding dress is the highlight of every little girl’s wedding dreams. Some want to look like princesses with beautiful, frilly gowns and a sparkling tiara on their hair. Some want to look like fairies, fantasizing about a wreath of sweet smelling flowers in lieu of the diamond tiara. Some want to look as elegant as queens. Whatever your fantasy may be, one thing’s for sure… you want your wedding dress to be just perfect.

The Stuff Little Girls’ Dreams are Made Of

Who can blame you? After all, it’s your day. It’s the day when everybody’s supposed to be looking at you, when you’re the star of the show, when you’re more beautiful than every other girl in the world, when your husband-to-be takes one look at you walking down that aisle and falls head over heels in love all over again.

Sure, you’re sharing the day with your groom. But he only has to wear a tuxedo, same as every other groom out there. Chances are, his clothes and the best man’s clothes aren’t much different. But you, you have to outshine everyone… the bridesmaids, the maid of honor, the guests, everyone. Besides, when you were dreaming about your wedding dress, he was dreaming about space aliens and rocket ships so the wedding gown probably means a lot more to you. Your wedding dress really has to be perfect.

What does the perfect wedding dress look like, though? Should you choose a white gown like most brides? Or should you be unique and choose a shocking orange gown? Should you go for the princess look, the classical look, the elegant look, or the fairy look? Should you wear a tiara, a diadem, a wedding veil, or should you just place some flowers in your hair?

The choice is wide and varied and it pays to spend some time on thinking about what will be a costly and important investment.

Anxiety Panic Attacks - Could Alternative Treatments Be The Answer To Send Your Panic Away

You’re overcome with stress - it’s not the exciting kind of stress, it’s the intolerable, horrific kind of stress. It’s at the point you can’t handle it much longer, so you ask people to help you, but everyone you ask has a different answer. You begin to understand that everyone is different; our tolerence for stress is different; we handle stress differently. But you still need help. You decide what countless others have done: you go online. And what do you find: more stress! It’s almost overwhelming with the array of “distress relief” offers. And the ones you read seem so simple you decide it’s not worthwhile to proceed. Does this begin to sound like an attitude problem?

Perhaps your first step to take is to sit down, convince yourself to change your attitude and begin to reconsider some of what you’ve researched. At this point, it’s a pretty good idea to ask for divine guidance in clearing your mind to think. Didn’t one of the articles say that the first step to take was to figure out what is causing this stress and anxiety? It could be that you’re worried about your father’s health - will he have to be put in a nursing home; maybe you’ve been concerned that your company has been laying off employees - will you be next; maybe you’ve been expecting too much of yourself as a father, husband, or church volunteer.

Now that you really have taken the time to think about this, you begin to realize your stress has progressed beyond the mild stage and is heading toward the anxiety and panic stage. Your wife has actually checked on the internet and was telling you about a program called Panic Away. But I’m not there - yet, you say. I just have the common symptoms of stress like: frequent headaches, insomnia, back pain from all my strained, tense muscles and my blood pressure is going up and - my heart sometimes races - but no chest pains, phobias or fear of a heart atack.

May I suggest that it is time to take steps right now to reduce some of that stress. Start simple, like doing something you enjoy doing, deliberately taking time to relax, and as with every other health problem, reducing stress also comes down to eating healthier foods, fruits and veggies, and reducing your sugar, saturated fats and caffeine. These are the biggies with food. Exercise, especially the kind you can enjoy, is excellent therapy, and of course there are various other therapies as well as the natural herb remedies, medications, hypnosis, acupuncture, and even doctor appointments.

The treatment would vary if your case persists or progresses and your symptoms become more related to anxiety or panic disorder. There are various types of interventions for you to consider: you may wish to include the intervention of prayer and faith-based resources; research cognitive approach programs focusing on managing or coping with the problem; or check out alternative programs such as the Panic Away Program your wife mentioned for dealing specifically with eliminating the anxiety or panic attack. Whatever you decide to do, realize this anxiety disorder is affecting your health and your health is well worth taking care of!

If you are just interested in the subject or especially if you are a victim of Panic Anxiety Attacks you need to learn more about Panic Away; so please don’t wait any longer; go right on over and visit http://panicaway-reviewed.com a website which reviews the Panic Away product and presents the viewers with valuable information, advice and resources on the subject of anxiety, fears, phobias and the panic away product.

Tips For Having A Great 1st Birthday Party

A baby’s 1st birthday party is an event that most parents plan with great care. These baby parties can be formal occasions where you want to showcase your baby and show how well you are managing with life, work, entertaining and your baby. On the other hand you could just have a really fun type of baby’s 1st birthday party. For this type of birthday you really just need to keep a few facts in mind. Since you are going to be having your baby at the party it is best to keep things simple. Planning on having a buffet style table of food is one of the best ways to keep your guests feeling relaxed as they can socialize and eat at the same time.

Keep the buffet food stuff to tasty but simple menus. You should plan on a variety of different sandwiches, hotdogs, pizza slices, burgers, fried chicken pieces, salads, bread rolls and lots of tasty cakes, sweets, and drinks.

Now, if there is a particular theme or style of food that you want to go with then make it so. You could have it catered in and still serve it as buffet style. As with the cakes and sweets, this is primarily for the kids. And as most of us know, kids aren’t to picky when it comes to sweets.

Another great idea that has been catching on quite nicely is renting a jumpy. You know the aparatus that you blow up in the back yard where the kids can get in and jump around. This item has served many families well for entertaining the small guests.

For added use having lots of brightly colored balloons strung about the place of the birthday will foster your one year to look around at the various items that can be seen. This is a good way to foster their interest in people. As birthday cake is one type of food that kids love to eat you should purchase a large sized cake in soft brilliant colors that have loads of icing.

When you are looking at the dissimilar types of birthday cakes that you can purchase for a 1st birthday party, you will see that besides the traditional clown or teddy bear and in colors other than blue and pink there are many other types of birthday cakes. These cakes are found in shapes like Scooby-Doo, Bart Simpson, My Little Pony, Barbie, a fireman and many others. I think today a cake can almost come in any shape or size you want, you just have to know the right place to make your custom cake.

There is one item that you might want to do for a 1st birthday party and that is to have small individual birthday cakes for the children to eat as they wish. These little birthday cakes don’t have to very expensive.

What you can do is to purchase oodles of cupcakes in flavors like chocolate or vanilla and trim these “cakes” with lots of frosting. To make the cupcakes look even more delightful and festive you should sprinkle some multicolored M&Ms or sprinkles over these little cakes.

Plus, this is an added benefit for the kids. We all know how little kids love unique individual things, one they can claim as there own. These little cakes make it fun, because you can customize each one and be creative with your frosting and sprinkles.

Even though your baby is still too small to fully enjoy the party you can plan on having tons of fun games like Pin the tail on the Donkey, breaking Piņatas, Musical chairs and you can even have a mystery treasure hunt for your small guests to enjoy. Have lots of chairs located everywhere for your guests to decompress in your house and garden.

If you have a back or side yard utilize it with tables and chairs. Give your guests a place to eat, relax and take a breather other than inside the house. Trust me you will be glad you did. Outside tables are much easier to clean after a party than living and dining room areas.

By keeping things simple but enjoyable both you and your guests will relish celebrating your baby’s 1st birthday party. As the party winds down you will have a stock of memories and photographs to share with your baby once they are a little older.

Wedding Flowers - More Bang For Your Buck

When planning a wedding, from selecting the gown to organizing the reception, flowers are an integral part of the overall vision of a wedding day’s event. Without flowers, fresh or silk, the event will lack the elegant and polished appearance every bride envisions for her special day.

In a traditional wedding, not only the bride carries a bouquet, but also the bridesmaids, in addition, there are boutonničres for the men and corsages for members of the bridal party and important family members. Even the smallest of weddings usually add floral bouquets for the church, pew decorations and candles. As a one time florist, I know all the little extras that can add to the overall cost. If a bride is not careful, the flowers for even a modest wedding can run hundreds if not thousands of dollars when the reception is added.

How do you create a wedding to remember without maxing out your credit card?

· First- Don’t plan a holiday wedding. As romantic as a Valentine wedding sounds, it will cost double from almost any other time of the year.

· Second - Consider seasonal flowers. Some flowers are more readily available at different times of the year and cost less when in abundance.

· Third - Consider what you and your friends or family can do yourself rather than have done by a florist. Flowers are available from vendors like grocery stores and Wal-Mart. With a little planning, they can be used to make arrangements as lovely as a “designer” arrangement from the florist.

· Fourth - Join forces. Ask around and if there is another wedding pool monies with the other bride for big items for the church, like candelabras, floral arrangements, pew decorations. Most rental items are for 24 hours.

In most cases, the color of the bridesmaids dresses will influence the colors chosen for the wedding flowers. So choose wisely. If you choose a color with limited options for floral compliments you restrict the selection of flowers available.

A spring or summer wedding with a variety of flowers can be colorful and reasonable in price, because of the availability of flowers. By allowing the florist to select flowers that are readily available in your color theme you can get a better price. If you have a passion for a specific flower, consider it as an accent or focal point for the bouquet. If you just have to have that specific rose in that pale pink shade, you will pay for it if its not readily available.

The style of bouquets are also a factor in cost. Hand-wrapped, natural stemmed bouquets in most cases will be less expensive than cascading floral bouquets with all the taping and wiring. The hand-wrapped bouquet can also be set in a vase on the head table at the reception to add to the floral decor.

Corsages for servers and non-family members that require recognition can be done in silk, ahead of time. A few stems of silk flowers and a bow make a nice remembrance without the custom-made price sticker. Most hobby stores provide all the necessities and a willing designer to share the how-to information.

Decorating the church can be another area that adds to the expense of a wedding. If there is another wedding at the church the same day or the evening before, contact the bride and consider pooling monies. Instead of each having a small arrangement for a budget price, have the same impressive arrangements for both weddings. As for pew decorations, consider the ivy or fern growing in the back yard. Make sure its clean and spray with a foliage preservative. Again, check out your local hobby store for the hangers and add a white satin bow.

Think ahead about using items from the church for the reception. Use the church arrangements to decorate the reception area, the gifts table or on the floor in front of the head table. Any item that can serve at both the wedding and reception is a bargain.

By planning ahead and get more bang for your buck.

Charlotte worked as a florist for several years, not only in an independent floral shop but also in a grocery floral department. She also served as a wedding consultant and prepared flowers for many custom events so has a great deal of experience in the industry. Since leaving the industry, she has assisted family and friends in creating a wedding day to remember on a budget.

Fixed vs. Adjustable Mortgage Loan

Choosing between a fixed rate mortgage and an adjustable rate mortgage will be one of the most important decisions you make during the home loan process! In this article we will explain both to you, so that you will have the knowledge to choose wisely.

So what are the differences between a fixed and adjustable rate mortgage? In simple terms, a fixed rate mortgage will lock in the interest rate in which you acquired at the time of the loan and remains the same throughout the life of your mortgage loan. The stability factor alone is why so many people are choosing to go with the fixed rate mortgage option.

Now an adjustable rate mortgage, as the name implies can and will change over time, this type of mortgage loan will fluctuate and change over with interest rates. This type of mortgage loan really benefits the lender, because the interest rate stays equal to the prevailing interest rates at any given time. For this reason you can get an adjustable rate mortgage that will offer lower monthly payments to begin with, so your initial mortgage payments will be much lower over the fixed rate mortgage, but beware, as the name implies, these rates can and will be adjusted and in the end you may lose out and end up paying much more in the long run as compared to someone with a fixed rate mortgage.

When looking at the above most people would consider it a no brainer and actually, in most cases, it is take a slightly higher payment, and live with it, because god knows interest rates will go up in the future. Why not right? The cost of living goes up every year, gas, bread and every other cost goes up from year to year, why not lock in a current rate and ride with it? Some on the other hand think well the rate is lower on the adjustable rate mortgage, that equals less money out of my pocket every month so….. Before choosing either or ask yourself this;

1. Can I afford to make larger mortgage payments if the rates go up in the future?

2. Do I really believe rates will stay the same or take a dive in the future?

3. Will I be moving out of my home in the next 5 years or so?

If you answered yes to these questions an adjustable rate mortgage will probably be your best choice. The adjustable rate mortgage is perfect for the person that is thinking short term, or is sure that rates are going to remain the same or decline in the future, but I have a word of advice for you people that think mortgage rates will not go up, take a look around, the price of living as well as every other aspect of day to day life rises by the year, what makes you think mortgage rates will not do the same? Sooner or later rates will jump, which is why I only recommend adjustable rate mortgages to people looking for short term benefits. The security of a fixed rate mortgage to a long term home owner is unbeatable, knowing that whatever the market does your mortgage payments will remain the same offers a piece of mind that cant be found in an adjustable rate mortgage.

So thats about it, the difference between a fixed and an adjustable rate mortgage is just that simple, although choosing which to go with is a very critical decision, the basis and concept of each is very simple. I really hope you make the right decision when choosing between the two, remember, in general, long term fixed rate mortgage, short term adjustable rate mortgage. Rolling the dice, adjustable rate mortgage, playing it safe, fixed rate mortgage.

Become A Good Customer - 5 Points To Ponder

We complain about companies and their staff, even their ad agencies sometimes, for not delivering on their promises. What makes a good customer though? There are courses for the “supplier”, true, split into many facets such as selling courses, call centre courses, ethics for business courses and hundreds more. Where are the courses for good customer behaviour? And I am not talking about the type of behaviour the marketing and advertising agencies tend to analyse such as purchasing behaviour and purchasing trends for instance.

What should customers do to get companies to behave properly to them? As customers we don’t like it when we receive bad service in shops, the very expensive restaurant serves us food which we did not ask for, or when the call centre we contact gives us the wrong information because their staff have not been informed. We hate it when four different people from the same company phone to sell us the same service or when they don’t bother to advise on some new service they are offering. There are many more instances where we the customer, put up with “bad behaviour” and we don’t do anything about it.

What would a course cover that would teach customers how to look after their interests? Here are a few suggestions:

1) Learn to stand up for your rights.
When you have been offended, treated badly or have had any one of your rights as a customer abused, then complain, speak up, make yourself heard, voice your complaint.

2) Address your complaints to the person who might do something about it.
Address your complaints to the CEO. The principle is” start at the top and work your way up”. After all, the rest of the staff take their cue as to how to treat a customer from the way the CEO treats everybody around him/her.

3) Get publicity to support the point you are trying to make.
If the complaint is ignored, which is probable, then submit a letter or e-mail to newspapers, relevant customer or trade magazines, journals. Or post on your blog, discuss the issue on other relevant blogs, video yourself discussing the customer ‘abuse’ and post the video on YouTube.

4) No more Mister Nice-guy
We tend to think that it is bad manners to complain, or speak up when wronged. How many people complain about bad food at a restaurant? They don’t complain because it’s not the done thing. Well we should get over that. Learn to ignore this and realise that one does not need to have to take bad food, service etc. because it’s bad manners to complain!

5) How to stay calm while suffering through bad customer service.
Of course, mostly customers tend to complain only once they are really upset, with the result that at this stage tempers have risen and it is generally quite difficult to be logical about any complaint that needs to be made. True defences against bad service or products are only really effective if they are delivered in a cold and calculated way, rather than screamed at the abusing staff member.

With all of the above in mind, I want to confirm my support for a ‘customer’ campaign started by a friend who has got a legitimate bitch regarding FACT. See if you want to support him by going to http:factoff.org. And oh, if you have any further suggestions on what a course on Customer-ing should cover, let me know.

GSA - General Services Administration

GSA (General Services Administration) a direct vendor for the US Government General Services Administration is the direct contact to become a vendor for the U.S. government. The General Services Administration is like the business manager or purchasing agent for the US government. The GSA has a protocol to follow in order to become a pre-approved vendor to sell products and services to the US Government. Contracts or “schedules” as the GSA would call it have to be approved before services can be rendered.

An example of a government contract or schedule would be a 70 gsa contract. A GSA Schedule 70 contracts include all types of US Government IT contracts from IT products and Professional Services to Software Sales and IT Classroom Training.

The products and services that can be provided are the same products and services that any large business would need to function on a daily basis such as IT services in both computer hardware, software and service, business management tools, environmental services, law enforcement fire and rescue equipment supplies, engineering contract services, advertising and marketing services, building materials services and supplies and medical equipment. The list of services is endless but to have your foot in the door one would need to follow the protocol that is set by the GSA.

Once a company is approved, a GSA contract is in place for five years, with three additional five year extensions available. This GSA protocol to pre-approve a company can be overwhelming and time consuming.

Fortunately there are GSA assistance classes that can assist in the process. The first place one can go to is directly to the gsa.com website to the section stating “For contractors or vendors” and selecting “GSA Training programs” There on should be able to obtain asistance from the GSA directly to get training on how obtain “GSA Schedules.

Is The Stereotypical View of the Selling Profession Justified?

If you sell for a living or if you are contemplating selling, I have no doubt that you have encountered our society’s stereotypical view of the selling profession and of salespeople in general. The question is, “Is that stereotype justified?” The answer is a complicated ‘yes’ and ‘no’. Hopefully this will explore both sides of the argument.

The economy functions on the flow of money based on the sale of goods, services and ideas. Truly, nothing happens until something is sold. No sales equals a dead economy. Therefore, it stands to reason that the selling profession is the most important economic asset to our society and our economy. Without it there would not be money generated for taxes, charities, education, infrastructure, health care or national defense. In my opinion, the selling profession, as a whole, is nothing to be ridiculed or scoffed at and is certainly not deserving of its stereotypical reputation.

So if the selling profession isn’t deserving of the criticism, why did the reputation develop? Throughout history, news of the actions of the con artists and the ’snake oil’ salesmen was a popular and frequent topic of discussion. A hundred years ago, however, bad news travelled by word of mouth. Today information about scams and misdeeds travels virtually instantly on the internet or through a zealous media eager to sensationalize the worst in people. This stereotyping has prejudiced much of our society into believing that the selling profession is somehow ‘evil’. A small number of people who sell may be out to con people as is the case in any other group. But that is not true of the majority of salespeople and they should not be judged as such.

The con-men and con-women in the profession deserve whatever backlash the get, but it is blatantly unfair to paint everyone with the same brush. Sales quality standards can improve. Each individual salesperson can work toward raising the standard by personally committing to continuing education. Companies also can take responsibility to provide better training for their sales representatives.

The term ‘rip off’ or the phrase ‘he/she ripped me off’ is used at the drop of a hat, anytime a customer isn’t overwhelmed by a great buying experience. Is it fair? Not really, but it is reality in today’s marketplace. Salespeople can easily detach themselves from this negative perception by providing the best buying experience possible for their prospects, by never compromising their integrity and by knowing and avoiding the danger areas when dealing with today’s sophisticated buyer.
