That’s right. No matter what you may have read or heard there really isn’t anything that a credit repair company can do for you that is special or something that they are authorized to do that you can’t. As a matter of fact, the FTC is currently conducting investigations into many so-called credit repair companies and the promises and practices they make.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACTA) http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fcrajump.htm are the two main pieces of legislation that govern your rights concerning credit and credit reporting. You should read them.

Part of the law provides you the right to receive a copy of your credit report once per year for review. However, you need to be careful because while many places advertise a “Free Report” that is typically an offer associated with paid services of some sort. This is not the free report that the government provides for you. While you may be able to obtain the report from more than one official source, the one that I recommend to my students and clients is http://www.annualcreditreport.org. You should take notice of the dot org, as this means that the website is a non-for-profit entity.

Once you have received your credit report you will notice that you don’t have a score, or FICO score. Don’t worry. The score is not important. WHAT?! You are probably thinking, “How can he say that?”, well hold on…I know your score is important to you (and it is) but not for the purpose of reviewing your report.

The point of getting a copy of the report is to review the data…period! Before you get too wrapped up in your score, you need to focus on what is contained in the report.

Here is what I want you to look for:

* Is your name completely correct (including middle initials and jr. & sr.)?

* Is your social security number correct?

* Is your address correct and up-to-date?

* Check all of your trade lines (accounts of credit) - are all of the accounts listed actually yours?

* Are the trade lines accurately reporting your balance and available credit?

* Do you have any derogatory records? (Late payments, charge-off, collections)

* If you do - are they accurately reported?

Ok, that is a good start. If you notice information that is inaccurate, make a note of it and we will soon discuss how you can make the necessary submissions to the bureaus (or in the meantime you can visit the websites for TransUnion, Equifax and Experian to learn how to submit “letter(s) of erroneous reporting”.

A discrimination lawsuit filed by Transsexual Men in New York City has finally been settled. The New York Metropolitan Transit Authority has agreed to open all of it’s restrooms on the basis of “gender expression”. This means that a man whom is dressed as a woman but still has his penis entact could possibly be sitting in the stall next to you in the women’s restroom’s within New York City.

I must state that I do not have a problem with transsexual men. My mentality on this is “to each their own” but I would not appreciate being in any public restroom and witnessing a man in there as well, even if “he” is dressed as a “she”. I do understand that alot of transvestites want to be women, or feel they are women, I can live with this, but I do feel that unless a “man” has had surgery, they have no business in a women’s public restroom.

I suggest this to the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority. If you are going to consider this lunacy, why not go all the way and build public restrooms for transvestites? Why should women have to deal with a man dressed up as a woman in our public restrooms? To be fair, I avoid public restrooms. I also understand that in women’s restrooms there are stalls, but it’s the point of a man being in there. If a man still has his “package”, you can dress it up all you want, they are still men in my eyes and I’m sure that I am not the only woman who feels this way. I also feel this measure is disregarding the rights of women as a whole. Do not toss aside women’s rights as well as safety. Keep men out of our public restrooms.

Traffic safety has been the concern of every government in the world. Common causes of traffic accidents are drunk driving and distracted driving. These problems are being addressed by different sectors in the community. Ad campaigns against drunk driving and distracted driving have been launched in an effort to actually curb the still increasing number of traffic accidents.

Recently though, a rare but potentially harmful behavior is uncovered. Aside from drunk and distracted driving, sleep driving is also one behavior that the concerned sectors of the U.S. government are addressing.

The act of sleep driving is a more complicated form of sleep walking. But instead of merely walking, those people exhibiting this rare behavior drives while sleeping and wakes up with no memory of what he or she just did. The behavior was brought into the attention of the public when Rep. Patrick Kennedy crashed his car and maintained that he had no memory of ever driving the car. In connection with this, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has linked the behavior as a side effect of sleeping pills. It can be remembered that Rep. Kennedy admitted to have taken Ambien, a prescription sleeping pill.

The government agency though did not report the number of sleep driving cases attributed as side effects of sleeping pills. But what the agency reported is that they have recovered more than a dozen instances of sleep driving incidents after taking sleeping pills. The FDA is also concerned that aside from the dozen or so reported incidents, there are still more incidents not reported. There are millions of prescriptions for sleeping pills that the agency said that sleep driving is a rare occurrence. But since sleep driving is dangerous since there is still no proof if a person can really operate properly the gas and brake pedals while sleeping, the government agency maintained that there should be steps taken to caution the patients from taking sleeping pills.

The first step that the FDA will enforce is the proper labeling of warnings on prescription drugs. Among the side effects that should be made known to consumers are sleep driving and other various complex sleep related behaviors like making phone calls, fixing and eating food. These behaviors are less dangerous than sleep driving but they also do pose as a threat to individuals who might experience it.

There should also be warning that cautions individuals of possible life-threatening allergic reactions and also the risk of severe face swelling. Another step that FDA will be taking to address this rare but potentially dangerous behavior is to notify doctors all over the country of the new warnings. That way, these doctors would then be updated about the probably causes these sleeping pills have on patients.

Its progressive design gives the new coupé an appearance that is both elegant and dynamic. With its muscular FSI and TDI engines, its entirely newly developed high-precision running gear, and a raft of innovative, luxury-class equipment features, the Audi A5 has been crafted to be a modern grand tourer, a touring coupé in the best tradition.”

The Audi A5’s sleek and sporty exterior appearance is highlighted by the luxury coupe’s new styling. The front fascia shows off a new Audi single-frame grille with right-angled headlights and large air inlets. At the rear, you can see distinctive horizontal lines along with wide styled tail lights designed to have a protruding look. The luxury coupe also comes with an aggressive trapezoidal C pillar, LED daytime running lights, xenon plus headlights, dynamic cornering light system, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Member companies of the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers (Auto Alliance) started the celebration of the nationwide National Alternative Fuel Autos Week by announcing to the public that there are currently about 10.5 million vehicles with alternative fuel drivetrain traveling in the millions of roads across the US. Moreover, automakers are expanding the range of alternative fuel vehicles, and include new powertrain technologies for different segments. The VW Phaeton, which is the current flagship model of Volkswagen’s full size luxury sedan lineup has not sold well since it entered the United States market in 2004. This is because of the expensive sticker price for the vehicle and the strong competition with other luxury sedans sold in the US market like the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. As a result of the VW Phaeton’s poor performance in terms of sales, the Wolfsburg Germany-based car maker announced that it would discontinue the production of the luxury sedan in North American market after the launch of the 2006 model year.

But according to several reports from various sources including Blommberg News, Andreas Meurer, spokesperson of Volkswagen of America said that the company is considering to bring back the VW Phaeton to roll out in US dealer showrooms once again.

Moreover, in an interview with Volkswagen AG CEO Martin Winterkorn in Financial Times Deutschland, he said the VW Phaeton needs to be sold worldwide in order for the vehicle to become successful. But Martin Winterkorn said he is not referring to the current Phaeton model. He said the luxury sedan will have its successor that is scheduled to arrive anytime soon and will to roll out in worldwide automotive markets. Maybe Volkswagen will include luxury coupes with elegant VW cabriolet part inside and out.

Meanwhile, in the recent 77e Salon International de l’Auto Geneve (77th annual Geneva International Motor Show), Volkswagen AG launched a redesigned version of the VW Phaeton featuring numerous new technical features and modified equipments inside and out. Later this May 2007, Volkswagen AG will commence the production of the much-awaited revamped model of VW Phaeton full size luxury sedan. The car will roll out in dealer showrooms carrying numerous new technical features and modified equipments inside and out.

Unveiled at the recent 77e Salon International de l’Auto Geneve (77th annual Geneva International Motor Show), the VW Phaeton now comes with a new V6 TDI turbo-diesel engine, the first Volkswagen model to comply with the most stringent European emissions standard, the EURO 5 standard that goes into effect in 2009. The EURO 5 emissions standard requires an 80 percent lower amount of dirt particulates compared to the previous EURO 4 standard. The VW Phaeton’s V6 new TDI turbo-diesel engine complies with this requirement, thanks to its common rail direct-injection system allowing the vehicle to have improved fuel efficiency and lower exhaust emissions as well as low fuel consumption, about 9.6 liters per 62 miles of driving range. The TDI turbo-diesel engine pumps out 299 horses (171 kW) under its hood, and can reach an electronically limited top speed of 146 mph.

For customers who prioritize power and performance than fuel efficiency, Volkswagen is offering optional three petrol gasoline engines to suit their driving personality. The German automaker will include a V6 gasoline engine pumping out 237 hp (177 kW), a monstrous V8 engine with 443 hp (331 kW), and the powerful W12 petrol engine that also pumps out 443 hp. Volkswagen also improved the Phaeton’s handling and driving performance, powering the luxury car’s standard all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain configuration.

Outside, the VW Phaeton received additional exterior features like chrome accent strips in the lower area of the front apron, newly designed bi-xenon headlamps, dynamic and static cornering headlamps, newly designed automatically activated LED daytime running lamps, and a new 19-inch alloy wheel designs for the vehicle to ride on. Customers should get a VW car cover from the company’s OEM division to protect these exclusive and new features of the VW Phaeton.

In addition to the new exterior features, the utilization of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is one of the new technical changes and features for the VW Phaeton. The Adaptive Cruise Control system is equipped with innovative functions including: Follow-to-Stop function, Front Assist stopping distance reduction and Side Assist lane change assistant.

Here is how the two systems work according to Volkswagen engineers:

Front Assist:

“The system utilizes a radar sensor to monitor the distance to vehicles in traffic in front of the Phaeton. When they approach too closely the driver is informed in two stages. At the same time the vehicle is prepared for possible hard braking by the driver. In certain situations the system preventatively puts the brakes in a preconditioned status ahead of time; otherwise they would only become active when the driver actuates the brakes. This is how the new system achieves Stopping Distance Reduction (AWV).”

Side Assist:

“This system monitors the area in back of and next to the Phaeton via radar sensors in the rear bumper (one sensor each for areas to the left and right of the vehicle), and it signals a potential collision risk via an indicator light in the outside mirror housing. The sensor monitoring range is about 50 meters to the rear and 3.60 meters to the sides of the sedan.”

Meanwhile, to provide additional driving safety, the VW Phaeton now comes with a tire pressure control system, low-beam lamp that automatically activates during full throttle acceleration and in rainy driving conditions. The car has is also equipped with enhanced information and entertainment systems including voice-controlled Bluetooth telephone system with auxiliary Bluetooth receiver, and navigation system with DVD capability that can support different types of functions.

NUMBER ONE:

Never take a bath or a shower with your husband. This is simply asking for trouble. Take all of your baths
alone. We all know that men get turned on at seeing their wives wet and naked. Besides, it’s hard to take
a shower (refer back to 6.) in the dark.

NUMBER NINE:

When he makes his move, get spiritual on him. Say something like this for example: “The Lord is leading
me to read my bible tonight and fast sex. I will let you know when I come off of this fast.” Or you can say
“No, honey…I won’t wear that…only sluts dress like that.” Make sure your knees are covered 24/7. Surely he
will understand. After all, God comes first and you must constantly remind him of that too. Remember…look
married but not sexy. All women who look sexy are going to hell and you don’t want to go there do you?

NUMBER TEN:

When you do make love always do it in the same place and same position. Never let him get you to try
a different position or even a different place. Why rent a hotel if you are living in a home? That’s stupid.
Why lay on the floor by the fireplace when you have a bed in the bedroom? Besides, all of this takes up
time and this thing must be over with in 10 to 15 minutes max. The dishes are still in the sink.

Remember…these ten tips must be followed to the impth degree. Only then will you be assured of destroying
all sexual intimacy in you and your husband’s relationship. Never mind that sexual intimacy is a beautiful
form of worship in the presence of God. This is a realm of the spirit that must not be entered into because
something about it is just not right…it makes you feel uncomfortable. Though it could be because of past
experiences, you can’t let yourself dwell on that now because you are saved, full of the Holy Ghost and that with
tongues. Thus, you don’t need to deal with your past (eww that hurts) nor is it necessary for you to let God
help you in this area. Just keep it buried and keep your husband in longing and things will work out one way or
another…won’t they?
