Time is something that you can never take back.

What’s done is done. Nothing in history can be changed. The most we can do about anything that has already been done is to take counter measures to prevent the damage from spreading. However, there is one more effective way to stop the damage and that is to prevent it.

You must have heard it said that “Prevention is better than cure.”

This quote is most often used in terms of illness; however, this can also be done for future mistakes. Time management is a form of prevention.

Why is time management so important? Time is the most important commodity. Time never comes back. It never rewinds like videotape.

You can get more money but you cannot get more time!

Here are the most common reasons why time is so important:

1.-Time cannot be stored
Everyone no matter how rich or poor spends time the same way, it doesn’t speed up for the rich and slow down for the poor. Time management is equal to wise usage of time. This may be the difference between fame and failure.

2.-Time is rare
Yes, everybody has the same number of hours, but haven’t you noticed that people are complaining that they don’t have enough of it? There is just “so little time and so much to do” that people go out of focus. Time management means giving importance to priorities and nearer deadlines and these give you enough for the crucial activities in life.

3. Time is needed for everything
Everything takes time; everything needs time to materialize. With time management, each task is given enough time to be finished. By giving a sliver of time for each of your goals and accounting for it wisely, you will be able to achieve them, plus make time for rest. Truth is, even little time produces work. If distributed wisely throughout the day or week, you would be surprised to how much you can accomplish.

4. Time management helps you finish more jobs with less effort
By allotting a certain amount of time for each activity, you don’t have to worry about the next thing that you will do. With time management, you become more organized and the things you do become more habitual than panic-driven. By making it a habit, you become more productive. As Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. “

In modern times, each product, place, or gadget has minute differences that make it very hard for you to choose. There are so many opportunities to choose from as to what to do with your time. By having a plan, you will be able to make intelligent choices. By becoming more conscious of the available time and the choices you’ve made so far, you focus more on your priorities rather than useless work.

Time management is indeed a gem. Once it becomes a habit, it will be more beneficial than time-consuming.

It’s an intriguing question, isn’t it?

Tom Cruise has had a couple of divorces and some public splits with his girlfriends. But then any actor as well known as Tom Cruise is likely to attract attention.

One thing I’ve noticed though, he always seems to lean into the right ear of his latest squeeze when whispering what I guess would be words of love.

So why might that be a bad thing? And what on earth does that have to do with how your mind works?

Well, you might find the explanation just a little bit weird. It seems that we remember emotional words when we hear them in our left ear, much more so than if we heard them in our right ear.

Yes, that’s right. A recent study by Sam Houston University shows that women and men recall emotional words far better when they’re heard by the left ear. It’s over 20% increase in fact.

Here’s the thing: what your left ear hears is processed by the right side of your brain. And the right ear pipes sound to the left side of your brain. The neuropsychologist who led the study had this to say: “We found a left ear advantage and the results are consistent with that.”

Musical melodies seem to be more accurately recognised by the left ear as well. Since music has tremendous power to move us emotionally that would seem to make a lot of sense.

Scientists have known for a long time that certain activities and functions seem to be right or left brain oriented. But this study shows very clearly that the right half of the brain (fed by the left ear) is particularly suited to the reception on emotional words. Oh yes, the words can be negative as well as positive.

The right ear/left brain seems to process information logically so if you’re angry with your partner maybe speaking into their right ear would be a good idea. Save the left ear for moments of emotional connection.

In the field of subliminal mind conditioning there is a technique known as ’stereo confusion’, where different messages are presented to each ear. Since the messages are targeted to the emotional, or intellectual side of the brain there is a better fit to how each side of the brain processes - and acts on - the subliminal conditioning presented. In the field of personal development such techniques can increase the effectiveness of a program significantly.

A different study even goes so far as to suggest that the tendency for mothers to hold the babies on the left of the body puts the infant into a position where the mother is speaking into the baby’s left ear. That in turn sends the messages of love and security straight to the most receptive part of the infant’s brain.

So Tom seems to be whispering into the wrong ear, if he wants to make an emotional connection.

How can you use this to your benefit in daily life? Well, you could certainly aim for the left ear when you’re whispering messages of love. Or you could go for the right ear if your message is equally emotional, but negative. That might enable the left brain to process the information logically and take the sting out of a potential argument. And if you’re talking to your loved ones it might be worth favoring their left ear when you’re telling them how much you love them.

You use what is known as a squeeze page to build a list of visitors that you can email future offers to and use as the basis of a joint venture with another internet marketer with a similar list. However, there is more to a squeeze page than just a capture form.

You must use it to persuade your visitors that it is to their advantage to complete the opt-in form for more information. That is the main purpose of the page, so how do you go about achieving this?

The heading of the squeeze page is of prime importance. It is the first thing that your visitors will see, since most people look at the heading of a page before reading the body of the text. Most people are conditioned to read from the top, so they automatically look at the top of your page first. Therefore, put your most important message there. Your headline should make them want to read more, and to do that it should provide them with a benefit.

People are interested in themselves and want to know how they will benefit from any offer made to them. If your prospects don’t think you can provide them with something of use to them then they will stop reading. You must design your heading so that it offers something that the majority of your visitors might want: something of use to them. It is not easy, which is why designing squeeze pages is not a simple job.

Will your software really help them to track all their ads without them needing to be a Mensa member or will this golfing advice they are going to get help cure their slice? Show them that the answer is likely to be ‘Yes’ and you will get your form filled in. You needn’t write a lot: all you need do is let them think that it is possible, and they will want to know more about what you have to offer. For that information they register using the form.

Don’t ask them to ’subscribe’ - that has connotations of regular money payments, and don’t use the word ‘register’ that infers some form of commitment. Your visitors don’t want to pay for anything and don’t want to commit themselves at this stage. They just want information. Offer them that information and request their email address and first name so that you can send them it. It’s that simple.

Asking for only their first name gives them the feeling of security that you don’t want to know who they are, but that you only want to send them information. Your button should simply say ‘Send me more information’. Alternatively make it even better and have a clickable phrase such as ‘YES! Show Me how to Cure my Slice!” or “Send Me your FREE REPORT on Ad Tracking!”

Ideally you should be able to present all you have to say without them having to scroll down. The secret of retaining interest and capturing an email address is to make the visitor do as little as possible. At best, to just press one key or make one click, but that is not always possible. Many, however, will have password security software that also fills in all their forms, and one click will literally give you their first name and email address.

Try to give your visitor the option only of filling the form for more information or leaving the page. Don’t put any Adsense on it or even a link to a sales page. You will confuse them and possibly lose what you want: their email address.

What you should do is test conversion rates with different ads. Change the ads and fonts. Try putting the clickable text in the normal blue, and try it in red. Compare results. If you do this, please only make one change at a time or you won’t know which the important one was. Some changes might be negative, but even negative results are useful.

Finally, just a few words if you are using Google. They have introduced some rules on squeeze pages in Adwords. It cannot be the only page on your website, there should be links on it leading to similar pages on your own and other sites (put them at the bottom in small type so that they are not noticed), and they should contain at least 200 words. It should not be too difficult, but otherwise just don’t use Adwords to advertise!

If you follow this advice on how to create a squeeze page, you should be able to quickly build a list that will provide you with sales for years to come. Some retirees supplement their pensions by using capital assets, usually their home. For the asset rich, cash poor, equity release is a relatively efficient and safe way to gain a cash lump sum from your property to improve the quality of your life in retirement. Two types of equity release scheme, the Lifetime Mortgage and the Home Reversion Plan, are available and their suitability depends on your circumstances and preferences. A Lifetime Mortgage is based on interest on the capital initially borrowed. It accrues annually over the period of a lifetime. The Home Reversion Plan requires the homeowner to sell part of the property. The lender then releases a capital sum. These products have declined in popularity due to a focus by major lenders on promoting mortgage products; as they are more difficult to understand because of the actuarial adjustment and due to people’s emotional aversion to selling part of their home. The complexities of both schemes require careful consideration and impartial advice from a company accredited by the Financial Services Association (FSA).

Equity release is not without its risks and three alternatives should be considered. Firstly, downsizing can be the simplest and most cost effective way to realize capital. Secondly, look to any existing savings. Thirdly, find out if any grants are available for home improvements to better equip the property for retirement living.

Next, look at the equity release products in detail, discussing the options with a professional advisor. Be aware that some schemes on the market make similar promises to bone fide equity release products, but are neither safe nor good value. Pitfalls await the unsuspecting and although many of the worst offending schemes have been outlawed, some plans involving standard variable interest rates, for example, are still being sold. These may look attractive but can become a financial burden in unfavourable market conditions.

Equity release schemes endorsed by SHIP (Safe Home Income Plan) have a ‘no negative equity guarantee’ that ensures no debt can be passed on to your estate. Members of SHIP also agree to provide fair, simple and complete presentation of equity release plans.

It is generally agreed by internet marketing experts that if you know how to build a list online, then you are a large part of the way to making your fortune on the internet. Without a list it is very difficult to promote and sell to a large audience. The whole objective of building a website is to get traffic and if you have a list you are guaranteed this day after day.

The bigger the list, the more traffic you will get, so how do you set about this? First you have to decide on your targeted audience. Much depends on the products you are selling, or on the theme of your website. Obviously, if you are selling baby or children’s items your target will be young women, although over time you can extend that to the older generations and to men.

However, start off by targeting those that you think will be most responsive to your advertising and the theme of your site. You then make one golden rule. Your objective is to gain an email address and at least a first name. Whether your visitor lands on your website or on offline form, you must get that email address. That will be the basis of your list. Forget everything else. You are unlikely to make a sale with a first viewing of your site, and even if you do, the real money comes from recurring sales, so concentrate on getting the address.

That is your prime objective. It doesn’t matter what kind of advertising you do to get somebody to visit your website. It must direct your customer to a page on your website that is very focused on the theme of your advert and also contains an opt-in form. It is this opt-in form that is the crux of your list. If a visitor signs that, then you cannot be accused of spamming when you subsequently email them.

Search engine optimization consists of about a 100 techniques of which buying your way to the top of a local search engine is just one. This is sometimes simply referred to as buying SEO placement. As only about 30% of people actually click on these (studies have shown) it is probably a good idea not to rely on buying SEO placement solely to bring business to your website.

However used in tandem with other strategies, buying your way to the top of the search engine page by buying SEO placement actually has quite a few benefits. First of all simply optimizing your copy can take awhile especially if you are doing it all yourself. Getting a service to do it for you could save you some time. On average it takes most people about two months to SEO a website on their own and sometimes as long as a year before they see this have any effect on their search engine page rankings.

The best and cheapest way to buy SEO placement is to do it through a pay per click program. The risk to your pocket book is minimal especially if you go to the time and trouble to test your keywords first. Most of the big pay-per-click systems on the most well known search engines have set up test programs so that you can see whether or not your choice of keywords actually drives customers to your site. This is important, as you don’t want to spend money on keywords that don’t work for you.

Keep in mind too that you should always be monitoring your pay per click campaigns to see how much of the business sent to you actually produces buying customer. The last thing you want is a busy website that is full of non-purchasing or non-converting visitors - unfortunately sometimes that is a by-product of buying SEO placement no matter how good your selection of keywords initially seemed to be.
