Side Effects of Drinking Green Tea

Every drink will have specific reactions that are related to them. Most are familiar with what some of these drinks can do, while others have more hidden side effects. Drinking green tea can have some of these side effects. If you want to know what to look out for, as well as what will benefit you, then you can simply look before drinking.

The first set of side effects that occur from drinking green tea is related to the caffeine that is in the drink. For some, they are sensitive to this particular part of the tea, and it may cause them to loose sleep, even for an entire night. For those that are extremely sensitive to caffeine, green tea may also cause problems with hypertension and anxiety. However, you can keep in mind that most mixtures of the herbs will contain a smaller amount than other caffeinated drinks, such as coffee.

Another negative side effect from drinking green tea is smaller, but can be a problem, depending on how your body reacts to specific chemicals. The iron that is found in some of the plants that are consolidated in the green tea can easily be absorbed by women because of their natural build. This type of iron is not necessarily considered healthy, and may be the cause of iron deficiency. However, if the iron is balanced out in other ways and through other substances, this will not be effective.

The other side effects from drinking green tea are positive. Overall, most say that green tea is harmless, as well as healthy in a variety of ways. It is known to clear the immune system, help the circulation and flow of blood, and clean out other parts of the system. If you have high cholesterol or extra calories in your body, green tea can be effective in helping these to be reduced and to balance out. This, of course, will occur after drinking the green tea for a longer amount of time.

For some less excessive side effects, you can also use green tea. It has been used in China for centuries in order to relieve some common symptoms such as headaches. If someone was having problems with the body, and was in pain, the marvellous drink would be given to the patient to relieve some of the tension in their body. Green tea is known for calming the pains that are in the body, making it an even more powerful drink.

For those that want a cleaning and empowering drink, then they only need to look towards the side effects of green tea. This will give them the ability to enhance the health of their life and relax. If you are in any pain, you do not necessarily need a pain medicine. If you are having immune problems, or other internal problems, you do not need surgery. Instead, you can use green tea to help enhance your health and your life.

Julie Health will peel your eyes open about the health benefits of green tea. She will show you why you must start benefits of drinking green tea.

Web 2.0, everybody is talking about it. If you want a lot of traffic and the opportunity to make money then sites like MySpace, YouTube, Facebooks, Flickr, and everything Web 2.0 is what you need. I just logged into my MySpace account and I was surprised at how many SPAM comments that were there. Is this technology just a way to legalize SPAM? You can turn off the option allowing people to post comments but then nobody will be able to post.

Every marketer and authority is talking like this is new technology. Sites Like Yahoo have had MyYahoo for almost a decade now. The same goes for AOL. If this wasn’t Web 2.0 then it must have been at least Web 1.5. Have you seen the navigation on these new Web 2.0 sites? MySpace is somewhat easy to get around but I have tried many times to get around Facebook and Squidoo but I must be missing something. I hear that these sites are getting a lot of traffic but am I the only one who is having trouble trying to get around in these sites?

If you are a marketer there are so many experts telling you to market on these social networking sites like MySpace. Obviously this is not something the owners of sites like MySpace advocate. Two of the most popular programs out there that helped you to be able to market to the MySpace community have recently been shut down by MySpace. Badderadder and Spacepromoter were both victims to this latest craze that the MySpace heads are doing. Who’s next?

A few years ago everybody was saying that we had to be blogging in order to make it, now that has changed. I hear that blogs are not as popular as they were at first. They are still important because anybody who visits a blog is free to leave their comment to one of the postings. Static pages are a thing of the past. In todays world you have to allow visitors the option of being able to add their comments, pictures and videos. Videos are the next big thing. Everybody is doing it. Look at the giants like Google and Microsoft.

I have had a site for the last ten years and I’ve never had more than a few thousand visitors in one month. My son, Jake, with his MySpace profile has had over 40,000 unique visitors in one month already. He is trying to teach me how to do this but so far I have not mastered getting more than 3,000. Technology is changing so fast these days. What is hot today will be outdated and on the way out in less than a few months.

Tendonitis Cure - Pain Relief For Tendonitis

Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in /wwwroot/gphone-android.com/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 1142

Tendonitis is common, especially if you’re active. It’s particularly common among computer users. While there’s no instant cure for tendonitis you can ease the pain and get back to light activity with some careful treatment, once the inflammation settles.

What Is Tendonitis?

Tendonitis is the inflammation of a tendon. Tendons connect your muscles to your bones, and tendonitis may occur on any limb, or in any joint. If you’re not sure whether you have tendonitis, it’s best to see a doctor. Common symptoms are pain and inflammation: the area may be red and swollen.

For acute pain, RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation) is a useful home remedy especially if the area is very swollen. You can wrap an ice pack around the affected ankle, shoulder or arm, and the pain will lessen within half an hour.

Stopping The Activity Which Caused The Tendonitis Is The Best “Cure”

Try to avoid the activity which caused the inflammation in the tendon for at least three weeks. This may not always be possible, especially if your tendonitis has been caused by keyboard use, and you use a computer in your job.

If you need to continue the activity, aim to support the area as much as you can. There are many different braces available which will help you. However, rest is definitely the best cure, so aim to change your activity so that you’re not doing the work which caused the problem.

Stretching And Weight Training To Help Prevent Tendonitis In Future

Once the acute pain and inflammation has gone, incorporate some exercises into your daily activity to build up the muscles in the area in which the tendonitis occurred. Get the advice of a physiotherapist, or a sports injury doctor on exercises.

Your aim is to stretch the muscles, as well as increase their mass. If your tendonitis occurred in your arm, for example, buy some hand weights and use them every day. Take care to do some gentle stretches both before and after you use the weights. You don’t need to become a weight lifter - ten to 20 repetitions are fine.

Stress And Tendonitis - Take Regular Breaks

For work-related tendonitis, take regular breaks during the activity which is causing the tendonitis. For example, if it’s computer use, there are many programs available which enforce regular rest periods.

In conclusion, although tendonitis is not a serious injury, it can be painful and can become chronic. There’s no real cure, but you can relieve the pain and inflammation of tendonitis while your tendon heals.

Hybrid vehicles have become more and more popular in the U.S. since Toyota introduced the Prius. This fuel efficient vehicle is equipped with a small engine that is powered commonly by gasoline. Its fuel efficiency is due to the use of an electric motor which supplies the additional power to aid the engine.

While a small engine may not be suitable for some driving conditions, the electric motor powered by an on board battery pack makes the power produced by the small engine adequate enough. But designers and engineers in the auto industry are constantly looking for ways to improve the performance of a hybrid vehicle. Turbodyne Technologies Inc. is one of the companies looking for ways to improve the performance of hybrid cars. Recently, the company announced that they have developed a new technology which is aimed to help hybrid vehicles perform even better.

Turbodyne has improved the design of the Turbodyne TurboFlow™ electronic air injection system. The technology is aimed for use by hybrid vehicles. “It’s clear that hybrid vehicle production is experiencing significant growth,” says Al Case, the Chief Executive Officer of Turbodyne. “”The biggest challenge is maximizing engine output while maintaining fuel economy. That’s where the opportunity lies for the Turbodyne TurboFlow™ air injection system,” Case added.

The TurboFlow technology differs from turbochargers and superchargers by the absence of mechanical linkages. That is because the Turbodyne TurboFlow air injection system uses an electric motor to operate the air compressor which in turn supplies air to the engine.

By eliminating the mechanical linkages, the air injection system is made better than turbochargers or superchargers. Superchargers need power from the engine to operate the air compressor and this means that the power generated by the engine will be reduced.

Turbochargers, on the other hand, use gas exhaust to force air to the combustion chamber. This means that when there is significantly less exhaust gas, like for instance when starting a car, the turbocharger cannot help the engine. Both the engine power reduction and lack of take-off power problems are solved by the Turbodyne TurboFlow™ air injection system.

Since hybrid vehicles are known to have a good storage of electrical energy, it makes sense that the new air injection system for hybrid vehicles is powered by electricity. Since the Turbodyne TurboFlow™ air injection system is not dependent on the engine, it can be used throughout a driving cycle. It is specifically designed to provide air into small displacement engines like those used on hybrid engines.

This new technology will further increase the performance of the fuel efficient vehicles. This could mean that hybrid vehicles will be continuing their domination of the auto industry in the future. From the way things look, hybrid vehicles have become the bully dog in the yard of automobile industry.

With more and more developments like these, we can surely expect more and more hybrid vehicles roaming our streets.

Many studies (such as listed in USA Today, MSNBC, and University of Oregon) conclude children are suffering from a lowered attention span due to activities such as television and computer games. Peter Jensen at the National Institute of Mental Health concluded, “Extensive exposure to television and video games may promote development of brain systems that scan and shift attention at the expense of those that focus attention.”

If you have children, you would often feel like you are talking to a brick wall. They often at times shrug you off ignoring what you have to say. The problem goes beyond discipline issues as some children do not pay attention for expected periods of time due to focusing problems.

When you think about it, does your child talk much when watching television or playing computer games?

Unless they provide commentary and annoy everyone else around them (that was aimed at my youngest brother :)) you probably answered “not much at all”. They will sit in front of a gaming console, computer, or television and become ‘mind slaves’ to the device as they ’switch off’ their mind into the rapid, hypnotic pace these devices deliver. Of course, we do listen while watching yet the devices deliver sound at a greater speed that is considerably more entertaining to children then the sound of nagging parents talking to them.

This may sound strange, but watch someone watching television. Look at how warped the person appears. It seems as if the person stares livelessly into the television.

Television, computer games, and other highly immersive activities are consuming more and more of childrens’ time these days. When a child or anyone for instance, constantly receives their entertainment through computer games for example, they develop an increasing desire for instant entertainment which decreases their attention spans and hurts their listening skills.

Activities such as computer games, require a high level of concentration and reasonable skills to play. When these two are combined, time becomes distorted. Behavioral psychologists term this an internal state of enjoyment known as flow.

A child who constantly gets in flow from an activity by themselves (television, pc games, handheld devices, and gaming consoles) is likely to have their attention span reduced and their listening skills decline. Their ability to be patient is small as the child is used to getting entertained through the rapid pace these activities deliver. When the child needs to listen, the change of pace, from say a Mario game, to his/her parent talking about homework is slow and boring. Computer games and the like cause children to develop poor listening skills.

The first thing you need to do to teach your child better listening skills deals with what activities they have throughout the day. This first aim should be to develop better patience within your child so they at least have the ability to pay attention to the person who is speaking to them. Activities such as computer games are not evil and should not be totally banned, but their needs to be a level of moderation. It also increases the chances of improving your child’s health as they will spend less time sitting down. In addition, it helps develop the child’s social skills because of more face-to-face interaction. Follow President George W. Bush’s cheeky advice when he said, “They put an off button on the TV for a reason. Turn it off.”

Joshua Uebergang has given you a free guide on teaching children skills to listen. For more great free advice on listening, you can visit Joshua’s site to learn effective skills to listen.

Giclee is the name used to identify a fine art digital print just like serigraph is the name for a fine art silkscreen print. One of, if not the greatest artists of the 20th Century, Pablo Picasso never produced a giclee print although he produced a lot of serigraph prints. His serigraph prints are available from just under $100 up to $7000 plus, the difference being the top dollar prints have been hand signed by the master.

Throughout his career Picasso made art in a variety of disciplines. He was a painter, sculptor, ceramicist and a prolific print maker producing not only serigraphs but etchings, lithographs, heliogravures (photographic engravings) and linogravures (linocuts). Had he had access to the technology it is a safe bet Picasso would have produced giclees and those that carry a signature made by his hand would be fetching the big bucks today.

As the 21st century unfolds, more and more artists are embracing digital technology in the production of their art. Painters now create digital files of their work as record and to produce giclee prints. A growing number of artists are using computers to create their art. If you want to hang one of these digital artist’s work on your wall, it will no doubt be a print and if you want it to last more than a few years, it will be a giclee.

Historically prints have been printed in open and closed editions. Open editions were and often still are printed in the 1000s on cheap paper whilst closed editions, more commonly known as limited editions, are printed on high quality art papers using methods that could only produce a finite number of prints. The limited number was due to either the printing plate be it a lithographic stone, a sheet of carved lino or an etched copper plate degrading to the extent that no more decent prints could be produced or the artist’s pocket running out of depth.

With the improvements in digital printing and the associated introduction of print on demand, the fine art printing industry has been turned on its head. The distinction between and open and closed editions has become decided blurred if not non-existent. An infinite number of prints on high quality papers and canvasses with a life expectancy that rivals if not surpass traditional printing methods can be produced one at a time, as and when required.

As with the Picasso serigraphs, the giclee prints produced today that will be more than wall decor are those with the piece of graffiti in the lower right corner placed there by the fair hand of the artist.

Are you one of those men who start to sweat every time you even think of asking a girl out? Your hands start to shake; your voice cracks up and you start to lose control over all your mental capacities. This is very a common problem among men, but it doesn’t have to be this way. I am going to show you three ways how to ask a girl out and not get rejected.

The Bad Boy Mask

One thing you can do is portray yourself as a genuine “bad boy”. There is a reason so many people claim, “Nice guys finish last”. It’s because women are attracted to the exact opposite type of man! So, throw away your conservative shirts and ties and put on a funky leather jacket instead. A few tattoos certainly won’t hurt, but being a bad boy also involves your attitude, not just your outward appearance. You need to convince women that they are in for a treat and should be ready to experience dangerous liaisons, and adventures. You’ll get ahead by approaching women and letting them know you will satisfy all their dark and deep desires.

Art of Framing

Another thing for all of you men who want to know how to ask a girl out is to practice the art of framing. No, I am not talking about putting up door frames or picture frames. This technique involves learning to pose questions in a way that makes a woman want you, and not the other way around. You end up defining the overall meaning of the interaction and have her buying into what you say. In other words, she will now “be in your frame”. For example, when she asks you if you are trying to pick her up, smile mischievously and respond, “Absolutely not, I don’t even know if we would make good friends”. She may be a little annoyed at first, but she will most likely also be intrigued and curious why you aren’t interested.

Letting the Woman Chase You

Tip number three involves something that will probably be very hard for many men to follow. You need to stop trying hard to win her over. Let her chase you for a change. Convince her that you have lots of available opportunities and she will have to measure up to your standards if she wants to get anywhere with you. Most women aren’t expecting this type of behaviour, so they don’t know how to react at first. Don’t appear overly interested when she starts a conversation. Just make sure not to insult her completely or you will end up with a drink poured over your head, rather than a date.

Men who know how to ask a girl out have already learned the basic rules: they portray themselves as exciting “bad boys”, they make women think they are unattainable so females want them even more and they don’t try hard to win women over. If you don’t think these rules work, try them out for yourself. You may be surprised with the positive results.

6 Dangerous Reasons People Do Not Set Goals and Never Succeed

Goal setting is the framework for personal achievement. It is the backbone of becoming a person you desire to be. Setting and achieving personal goals will guarantee you success. Most people who do set goals have little to no understanding of goal setting and as a result fail to achieve them and never succeed. You would think that if goal setting was the ultimate skill and secret to success that everyone would develop their own personal goals and learn to achieve them. Unfortunately, the world is not that perfect. There are six dangerous reasons people do not set and achieve their goals which act like a road block to their success.

There are several reasons why people do not set goals similarly to why people do not care about communicating effectively. I know with absolute certainty that everyone will experience a more successful and far enjoyable life if they learned to communicate effectively. Arguably the greatest modern day personal development Coach, Anthony Robbins said, “The way we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the quality of our lives.” Effective communication determines the quality of your life with others while self development determines the quality of your inner life.

The first reason I believe why people do not set goals is they do not see its importance. Like people who do not develop their communication and other aspects of themselves, they do not see the importance of setting goals. I have met people who are unbelievably resistant to developing their communication. They have actually found it insulting to think they need to improve how they communicate! Every single person on the face of this Earth can always communicate more effectively and have their life improve as a result. Likewise, with goals there are people who do not see the importance of setting personal goals. Goal setting forms the foundations for personal achievement and it is of the utmost importance.

The second reason why people do not set goals is a fear of others caused from criticism. People criticize because they see faults in others or are brainwashed by society and other beliefs into thinking greatness cannot be achieved. They criticize to hold people back from achieving goals. Average people do not want others to go beyond average. A person can fear setting goals because each time they have set goals in the past, others have criticized and shot down their dreams. Others impose their own self-limiting beliefs through criticism instilling fear within the person. Think of receiving criticism as a poisonous needle injected into your body. It slowly controls and destroys what you want. The destructive thought of fear controls the person from achieving anything remarkable. Put bluntly, screw what people think. Screw allowing people to destroy your life with their beliefs. Society is filled with endless garbage to prevent you from achieving your goals. If you want something, go and get it by setting and achieving personal goals.

The third reason why people do not set goals is a fear of failure. They can think success is derived from not failing. The opposite is true. Success comes from failing a lot and failing fast. Famous inventor Thomas Edison said, “I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Being an inventor, Thomas understand failure was apart of success. Failure was the nuts and bolts that constructed his success. Understand that failure occurs and it shows you are taking action. Learn from failure and enjoy knowing you are moving towards your goals instead of fearing to set out after them in the first place.

The fourth reason why people do not set goals is a fear success. People who fear success believe it is bad. The fear is common in wealth and wanting an attractive partner because negative results will occur. They believe wealth is evil or a certain type of partner is unfaithful. The fear prevents them achieving what they want by not laying the foundations of their desire with goal setting.

The fifth reason why people do not set goals is they do not know how. This reason relates to fear of failure where the person has set goals in the past, but has not achieved them and becomes discouraged from the failure. These people become disheartened from the failure and think failure is imminent. They do not learn from past mistakes and move towards personal growth. The classic example of this is losing weight as a new year’s resolution. A mere temporary motivation inspires the person who is lucky to lose weight in January but no further progression towards achieving the goal occurs in later months. If you do not set and start working towards a goal now, what makes you think you will be able to achieve it as a new year’s resolution? There are techniques such as SMART goal setting which I have written about but are not covered in this article. Using SMART goals enables you to set and achieve goals then merely wishing a result based on temporary motivation too common around the new years period.

The sixth reason why people do not set goals is they lack the inner desire to want something greater then what they currently have. For them, the ordinary or even sub-ordinary is sufficient. These people do not believe they can reach or deserve success because society has conditioned them into thinking they are ordinary people and therefore must do ordinary things. It can also be caused by failure, criticism, and other reasons as to why people do not set goals.

Did you find yourself relating to one of these six dangerous reasons people do not set goals and as a result never succeed? Do not fret too much because you are now more self-aware and able to doing something about. All that is required for you to do is learn how to set achievable goals. I personally advise people to follow the SMART goal setting technique because its congruency with successful goal setting is spot on. You set specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and tangible goals leading to your success. Master this skill and you will have the most powerful personal development technique in your grasp to achieve success.

About a third of people with depression don’t know they have it. And two-thirds don’t seek treatment. The reasons are numerous: Lack of recognition. People frequently don’t recognize their symptoms as depression. Many think their symptoms are a normal part of life just a bad case of the blues. This is especially true if symptoms are more agitation or irritation rather than a depressed mood.

Embarrassment and confidentiality.
Some people are embarrassed to seek treatment because they think depression carries a stigma of mental illness. In addition, concern about employer confidentiality may prevent some people from seeking treatment.

Effects of Depression.
In many cases, people know they’re depressed or at least suspect that something is wrong. But the feelings of helplessness and hopelessness brought on y their depression prevent them from seeking treatment.

Diagnosing Depression

To diagnose depression, your physician may perform a physical examination, including tests to rule out conditions that can cause symptoms that mimic depression. If the doctor sees signs of severe depression or suspects the possibility of suicide, he or she may refer you to a psychiatrist or even recommend immediate hospitalization. There are two hallmarks of depression-symptoms that usually confirm the diagnosis. They are:

Loss of interest in normal daily activities.
Depressed mood.
Sleep disturbances.
Significant weight loss or gain.
Agitation or slowing of body movements.
Fatigue.
Low self-esteem.
Thoughts of death.
Impaired thinking or concentration.
Loss of libido.
Changes in mood.
Changes in behavior.

MEDICATIONS:

Drugs are the first-line treatment for depression. Medications for depression aren’t habit-forming, and they’re usually less costly that lengthy counseling. In addition, adequate treatment with medications is more likely to prevent a recurrence. Side effects from antidepressant medications are usually mild and temporary. The most common are dry mouth, changes in sleep patterns, restlessness, nausea, constipation, bladder problems, sexual dysfunction, dizziness and drowsiness.

As with all medications, there are some cautions, especially for older people. Drugs are cleared from their bodies more slowly, so they may need lower doses. In addition, older people often take more drugs for other conditions. There drugs may interact with antidepressants. And antidepressants that cause sedation may make older people more prone to falls. Medication choice depends on your symptoms and your personal or family history of depression.

Is India Almost Out Of The World Cup?

If you read my Blog on one day cricket’s best bowlers in 2006, the best bowling attack of 2006 was Bangladesh. As per my own Cricket Bowler Rankings in the same blog, Bangladesh has got 5 of the top 15 one day bowlers in the world. India chose to ignore it and lost their way.

BTW I also ranked Ten Doeschate (Holland) as world’s top allrounder and he struck a quickfire 57 against South Africa in his first outing.

My other prediction is watch out for Sri Lanka and New Zealand in this World cup (does that mean forget India? well, sort of - they do look beautiful on paper don’t they?)

Well everyone has written off Pakistan after being beaten on the “Day of Shocks”, at the moment, though even India is near to extinction, so the ICC - Sponsors are the ones who should worry as a lot of money is riding on India.

India’s Chances:

India has just a 50-50 chance of beating Sri Lanka (though realistically it may be well below that). Also, presuming that Sri Lanka would beat Bangladesh (let us say an 80-20 chance). In case that happens you would have India tied with Bangladesh on run rate (we’ve presumed bermuda is beaten by all - a fair assumption). So in that case India may qualify. In case Bangladesh beats Sri Lanka then an Indian win over Sri Lanka would get them in directly. So fairly, India has about 30-40 chance of making it to the next round.

Given that Sri Lanka has a high run rate, it should be hoped that they beat Bangladesh by a high margin, otherwise India would need to maul Sri Lanka by a high margin (this is difficult though on a given day it can happen either way. usually a tense India is never able to use the word maul as they tread very carefully, like they did against Bangladesh).

All the credit is with Bangladesh, and after beating New Zealand and India back to back they really deserve to be in the next round. It is a shame that one of these 3 teams would have to go back. And least likely Sri Lanka. So it is between India and Bangladesh, with Bangladesh having a 60-40 chance right now.
