Your Best Caribbean Honeymoon, Ever

Many consider the Caribbean to be a wonderful honeymoon experience. The beautiful beaches, brilliant blue waters, romantic nightlife and exotic cuisine all lead up to a wonderful vacation. Whether it’s your first, second or even your third honeymoon, with a little planning and foresight, it can be your best Caribbean honeymoon.

Try getting the planning out of the way early, so when it’s time to go, you can just relax and enjoy the moment. If, when you depart, you are still worrying about finances, itineraries or accommodations, you are certain to miss out on some of those spontaneous and fun moments. Because of its significance, you really should plan the honeymoon at the same time you are planning the wedding. It’s almost that important.

Start early by collecting as much information as you can about the various destination islands. You might want to consider a Caribbean honeymoon cruise .
Reading the brochures provided by the resorts should yield a wealth of information. Consult with a few travel agents, deciding which is the more helpful. Doing this will give you an idea of the different features offered by various resorts.

Another good resource is the Internet. Look for reviews by people not associated with the individual resorts. This will let you know what to expect in the way of services, accommodations and the different activities. This will allow you to be more selective about allocating your resources, both time and money.

Book early if you can. Too many people make the mistake of waiting too late, then finding their first choices are booked up and cannot take another reservation. Remember that tourists worldwide are trying to get to the Caribbean beaches and resorts. The tourist season and the summer months will be the first to be fully booked.

Before you get caught up in the details of the week of wedding festivities, check on the important travel documents to be sure you have everything you need. And that it’s up-to-date. Be sure you and your spouse have current passports and any other travel documents required. Preparation avoids frustration.

Before you get carried away with the events of the wedding week, confirm your reservations at the Caribbean resort. You should also confirm your flight reservations as well in order to avoid any problems at the airport.

Your honeymoon deserves careful planning. Make sure that you choose a place where you’ll both enjoy and have intimate moments together. Remember, it doesn’t end at the wedding. Spending a tropical honeymoon in the Caribbean is a great way to express each other’s love and passion.

Appropriate Wedding Gift Monetary Amounts

When it comes to wedding gifts, how much to spend on a wedding gift is determined by the following factors: where the wedding will be held, your budget as a wedding guest, and your relationship with the bride and/or groom. If the wedding is a destination wedding, only a bridal shower gift is usually deemed proper because there is a larger cost for each person attending the wedding. If the wedding is local it is often deemed proper etiquette to bring a gift to the bridal shower as well as give a wedding gift.

When attending a wedding either as part of the wedding party or as a friend of the family, you should decide your appropriate wedding gift spend. If you have been invited to be a bridesmaid for an out of town wedding, you should first tally up your costs and then decide what is an appropriate wedding gift spend.

These costs could easily amount to $500 dollars or more, broken down into $200 traveling expenses and $300 for the bridesmaid dress. Adding another $100 for the wedding gift monetary amount would bring your total expenses to $600.

Some people believe it is proper etiquette to spend about the same monetary amount on the wedding gift as the bride and groom paid for the reception on a per head basis. There are two very strong schools of thought on this approach. Some people really believe that this is the most appropriate way to gauge how much to spend on the wedding gifts, while others believe it should depend completely on how well the wedding guest knows the bride or groom and how much the person can afford to spend.

Where a person lives can also dictate how much a person should spend on a wedding gift. In some areas of the country the weddings tend to be more formal and would in turn require a more expensive gift, especially if the person is not also attending the bridal shower. If someone lives in an area where the wedding would be less formal the popular belief is that a smaller amount spent on wedding gifts would be appropriate.

Most people today have a gift registry set up to let their attendants know exactly what they would like for their home or a fund to which they would like their guests to contribute. Also, because many people live together before they are actually married the need for gifts for the home is often less than the need for cash gifts.

Many couples actually prefer to receive money either to save for a big-ticket item for their home, a new home, or even a special honeymoon they’d like to take.

Chrystal Holman recommends these wedding favors and bridal gifts.

Your Quest To Find The Right Paintball Marker

Finding the right paintball marker is never easy, especially if you are new to paintball and don’t know where to begin. I understand your position, because I’ve been there before as well. I made mistakes along the way and learned a lot, and that’s why I can help you make the right choice the first time.

Here are some questions you are probably asking; “How much do I need to spend?”, “Should I buy a standard marker, a semi-automatic marker, or an automatic marker?”, and “What brand names are good quality for entry level priced guns?”. These are great questions, and getting the answers to these questions will send you down the right path. Let’s address these questions one at a time and then you’ll be equipped with the knowledge needed to make the right decision.

“How much do I need to spend?”
Honestly you don’t need to spend a lot. Entry level standard markers, semi-auto markers, and fully-automatic markers range from $75 to $250. If you are truly a beginner & not playing in competitive matches, you can get away with a standard manual marker like one of the cheapest Spyders. If you are playing in matches, and playing with other semi-experienced players you may want to consider a semi or fully-auto marker. Tippmann & Spyder are very solid brand names for entry level semi and fully-auto markers. Some of the models to consider are; Spyder MR2, Spyder MR3, Spyder Electra, Spyder VS2, Spyder VS3, Tippmann A-5, Tippmann 98 Custom. All of those models range in price from $150 to $250 and will give you the marker you need to keep up with anyone at your local field.

“Should I buy a standard marker, a semi-automatic marker, or an automatic marker
This really depends on what you plan on doing with your marker. If you are young and just plan on getting used to the concept of shooting a paintball gun you can get away with a manual paintball marker. If you are going to be playing in any sort of a competitive atmosphere, you should get a semi or fully-automatic paintball marker.

“What brand names are good quality for entry level priced guns”
This is a tough question to answer because there are literally dozens of brand names out there. The thing you need to be careful about is that most of the low end brand names provide horrible performance and they are basically a complete waste of your money. For entry level paintball guns I recommend sticking with Spyder, Tippmann, and Smart Parts. All three of these brand names make entry level markers that are very solid and you can get great performance out of any of their products.

Well there you have it, everything you need to know to make a good decision on choosing the right entry level marker. Follow the above guidelines and you’ll get a solid performing marker for your money. You’ll be pleased when you take part in paintballing events in your area & see how well your marker performs.

Finding Your Prosperity Niche

There are various ways to approach your business. You can take a purely pragmatic approach or you can apply practical spirituality and good business sense to growing your business. Let’s explore the latter as it relates to defining a niche to focus and direct your business efforts. Below are 5 concepts you need to understand. They are:

  • Niche - A place, employment, or activity for which a person or thing is best fitted; a small notch or groove.
  • Prosperity Niche - The results you create when you focus your intention, attention, talents, passion, and activity in a way that naturally fits who you are and allows you to easily attract a bountiful flow of prosperity into your life.
  • Intention - A core decision to act in a certain way; inner resolve to follow a certain path or produce a certain outcome or state of being.
  • Attention - State of applying the mind to something; observation, noticing; consideration with a view to action.
  • Talents - natural endowments of a person; personal aptitude to perform well with ease.
  • Passion - An intense driving feeling or conviction; ardent affection; love; a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity.

When you integrate intention, attention, talent, and passion into activity you have a good foundation for opening the flood gates of prosperity into your life. A prosperity niche is about setting up your business to leverage this synergy so that work is play and play pays you abundantly.

Many times people want to market to the general public, they want to cast a wide net, and be all things to all people. This is one way to do it but it can be very effortful and problematic. Creating prosperity is not about struggling and working hard and learning everything by trial and error. Go where you heart feels drawn, serve those you have a natural affinity for, and find products and services that make you feel good at the core. It’s so much easier to market what you believe in, what you love, what you would not want to live without to those you respect, have compassion for, and are truly attracted to.

Everything you do in your business should bring you back to your basic intention and at the core love is the greatest marketing strategy you can employ to grow a thriving and sustainable business.

Are Your Business Process Management Solutions Using an Elephant Gun to Kill a Fly?

Business is complex and that complexity demands big solutions. Yet, in many cases, in the quest to find a quick solution, some management teams may use an elephant gun when a fly swatter would work even better.

Elephant guns range from the big change management initiatives to the many training and development solutions to the quality programs such as lean to six sigma. These guns shoot out round after round of new knowledge and skills all in the attempt to solve the current challenges. Yet, if the elephant guns were effective, then why are the same change challenges returning? Why for example does it take up to 7 years to integrate a total quality management system? Could the aim have missed the fly?

Flies are the attitudes and habits that swarm around the culture of every organization. They quick swarm together to give the impression of a significant problem, but in a blink of an eye they can disappear. By the time the elephant gun is loaded and fired, the fly is gone leaving three large holes.

  1. Hole one is missing the problem such as training and development or quality programs.
  2. Hole two is the drain to the cash box.
  3. Hole three creates another entry for more flies to enter the organization.

For years, companies have focused their energies and resources on the knowledge and skills necessary for business success. Knowledge and skills are the big elephants and suggest the use of elephant guns through training and development programs. However, the attitudes and habits residing within each and every individual are the real leverage to business success or to business failure. These small flies can bring down the very best companies. Common sense suggests that elephant guns are not effective in killing flies.

When the focus changes to the fly, then the tool to catch the fly also changes. By identifying the fly or flies, a more effective solution can be crafted to deal with the pending change issue. And in many instances, this stops the constant drain to the cash box.

So if you are experiencing some negative change and begin to reach for that elephant gun, maybe you should separate the elephants from the flies and reach for the closet fly swatter.

Questions To Ask Your Plumber

Hiring a plumber is not as easy as just picking up a phone book and picking one. You need to make sure that you get a qualified plumbing contractor and not some hack. To increase your odds of choosing a good plumber there are some questions that you should ask. Keep reading this article to learn what those questions are.

The first question that you should ask is, “How long have you been a plumber?” This is an important question because if a plumber has been in business for a long time they are more likely to be good. Every plumber has to get started at some time though so If they haven’t been in business long you shouldn’t automatically rule them out. Just take it into consideration.

The next question you should ask is, “Are you insured?” If they are insured this means that you and your home is protected in the case of an unfortunate incident. If they are not insured then they are just not very professional and you should pass on using them.

A third question to ask is, “Do you offer a written guarantee?” A qualified cleaner will have no problem backing up their work with a written estimate. If they will not offer you a guarantee you should be immediately concerned about their quality.

One last question you should ask is, “Do you have any references?” Id you are doing a large extensive plumbing job you should ask for references. IF they can not provide you at least a few good references it is a bad sign. Once you get the list of references be sure to actually call them. You might be surprised how many companies give out bogus references or give out names of people who weren’t even happy with the work.

Hiring a plumber does not have to be a stressful experience if you simply do your research and take a little time. It is not a decision you should rush into. Good luck.

Sailing Cruises in the Caribbean - Experience a Fun-Filled Vacation

These days, cruising is one of the most popular vacation options among avid travelers. For some, the more opulent the cruise ship, the better. Others are hoping for an experience where they can party the night away without a care in the world! But for many real boat lovers, the only choice is a sailing cruise in the Caribbean.

Sailing cruises are quite different to a trip on an enormous ocean liner. These cruises allow you to get up-close-and-personal with the true sailing experience and to travel to places where large cruise ships cannot navigate. They give you hands-on opportunities to learn about the intricacies of sailing and allow more interaction with ship mates and crew.

Overall, sailing cruises mean adventure, excitement, and romance, all rolled into one fun package.

What’s a Sailing Cruise?

Though cruise lines talk about “sailing the seven seas”, passengers onboard these huge ships are not really “sailing.” On a sailing cruise in the Caribbean, you will find yourself on an authentic old-fashioned sailing ship with large, white sails, a ship’s wheel, teakwood floors, and everything else you would expect to find on such a vessel. While onboard, you’ll enjoy some of the same amenities as you’d find on a cruise ship, such as activities, shore excursions, and good food…but with a bit of a twist.

First of all, these ships are much more intimate than a cruise liner, usually carrying 100 - 150 passengers and crew instead of a few thousand travelers. That means you get to know the people with whom you’re traveling.

Sailing cruises are less structured than a regular cruise. You’ll find, for example, that you don’t have an assigned seat for meals and that you’re free to sit with different friends at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As a matter of fact, on some sailing cruises, you don’t even need to sleep in your berth. Guests are free to carry their bedding out to the deck and sleep under the stars!

Rather than watching a Las Vegas-style show in a 500-seat opulent theater, you may just find yourself belting out sea shanties while hoisting a glass of rum to toast your captain. When it’s time to go ashore, you can still enjoy a variety of excursions; from shopping to hiking and mountain biking to exploring the history of your destination island.

Selecting a Sailing Cruise in the Caribbean

If you’ve decided that this kind of cruise is for you, you’ll find that there are a wide variety of these so-called “barefoot cruises” from which to select. The most popular company appeared on the scene about 30 years ago — Windjammer Cruises. Their sailing cruises in the Caribbean have been enjoyed by millions of travelers who enjoy a little adventure in their lives. Windjammer boasts excellent ships, exciting itineraries, and a friendly crew who are eager to interact with passengers. However, many of the lesser known sailing cruise companies provide an equally rewarding experience but on a somewhat smaller scale, which some travelers prefer. Some are even dubbed “luxury” cruises, featuring upscale amenities, food, and drink.

Itineraries

Travelers will find that there are quite a few options to choose from as far as sailing itineraries are concerned. A sailing cruise in the Caribbean may take you to exotic locations — like the tiny islands of the Grenadines — or to more familiar destinations, such as Antigua or St. Martin, and even to places that you’d be hard-pressed to find on a map!

The beauty of traveling on a small ship is that you can visit small islands that can’t accommodate a cruise ship, allowing you to explore nearly-deserted locales, dive in some of the world’s clearest waters, and investigate nature’s bounty, without having to contend with crowds and chaotic tourist traps.

Are You Serious About Quitting Smoking?

Why is it that every article you read, every commercial that you see, almost everything supposedly designed to help you quit smoking comes with a price attached? It seems like 99% of the articles I read on quitting smoking are written by someone trying to sell you something to help you quit. Why is this? Why can’t everyone be honest about the whole idea of quitting smoking and just tell you that by the nature of being born you were given everything that you need to stop smoking. If you are serious about quitting smoking, you can do it without spending a dime.

Before you begin to think that I’m completely full of crap, here me out. I smoked at least a pack a day for close to fifteen years and walked away from smoking once and for all. And I did it without spending one red cent, and there were no with drawls or any other negative effects. I simply stopped smoking. Were there times that I wanted a cigarette? Of course there were, but I simply wouldn’t have one. I realized, during the stopping process, that it was normal for me to want a cigarette. I mean my body was used to having one for God’s sake! A person will get used to anything after engaging in it for 15 years. The bottom line is that I stopped and I know you can as well. Below you will find a list of the things I found to be important in the process of quitting smoking :

Changing Your Thinking - That’s right, you need to change the way you think about smoking and quitting smoking. Everyone tells you how difficult it will be. Don’t buy into that stuff. Tell yourself that it’s going to be as easy to quit as it was to start. Remember this quote, “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.”

Change your surroundings - It was important for me to stay away from smoking (especially in the beginning). I stopped going to places where everyone smoked. I stopped hanging around smokers for long periods of time. I stayed as far away from smokers as I could. I even changed my job ( a job in which many people smoked).

Don’t Believe The Hype - There is a ton of hype surrounding the act of quitting smoking. Everyone wants to convince you of the fact that quitting is a difficult proposition. I’m telling you from experience that it’s not that difficult. Quitting smoking will be as difficult as you “believe” it will be, it’s as simple as that. The hype is all designed to sell you something to supposedly make quitting easier. All of the hype is nothing but a big sales machine.

Hopefully these tips help you kick the cancer sticks once and for all. It really was that simple for me, and I know it will be for you as well. What you believe is the key factor. Remember what Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said of belief, “Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.” Just believe that you’ve got this smoking thing licked and you do.

Quantum Life Biofeedback - Rebalance Your Nutritional Profile Electromagnetically

I added a new and powerful modality to my therapeutic armamentarium last year called the Quantum Life Biofeedback System.

I will first give you some background on this new modality and then describe how I have been using it successfully to help individuals with numerous health problems by simply rebalancing their nutritional profile.

Quantum Life ( L.I.F.E for short) is one of the most advanced evoked potential biofeedback systems available today.

What is an “evoked potential”?

The L.I.F.E. system sends your body electromagnetic frequency signals that correspond to over 6900 parameters and receives from you a “reaction” or “evoked signal” which is a measure of whether your body is balanced in those parameters. The evoked signals are measured and determined to be in or out of balance for your body. In this way L.I.F.E. suggests:

a)-Whether you are deficient in a particular parameter i.e. vitamin, mineral, amino acid, etc.

b)-Predisposed or susceptible to a particular illness.

c)-Still carrying the energy imprint of old emotional, physical or spiritual problems in your energy bio-field.

d)-Whether and which Acupuncture Meridians/Points are in need of rebalancing.

e)-Whether and which Chakras are in need of rebalancing.

f)-Whether you have or are predisposed to any allergies.

g)-Whether you are predisposed to, have a susceptibility to or have been exposed to toxins
such as heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, other inorganic and organic chemicals, bacteria, fungus, viruses, parasites etc.

h)-Whether you are predisposed to, or have had some imbalance in one or more of your organ or physiological systems i.e. Circulatory/Heart, Respiratory/Lung, Gastrointestinal/Digestive, Muscular, Brain/Nervous System, Hormonal/Endocrine System, Bones/Spinal System, Teeth/Dental System, Lymphatic System etc.

i)-Whether and which unresolved emotional issues you are carrying in your energy field.

j)-Whether and which Homeopathic, Ayurvedic, Sanum, Nosode, Drainage and other remedies your body may need to rebalance itself.

k)-And much more.

What’s even more remarkable is that the L.I.F.E. System, using what is called your “Reactivity Profile” i.e. the entire profile of those 6900 “evoked potentials” can guide a trained and qualified Certified Biofeedback Technician (CBT) to help you and your body rebalance itself in those parameters that are most relevant for you at that given point in time.

It is important to note neither the L.I.F.E. System nor CBT’s diagnose whether you have an illness or problem. Only your doctor is qualified to do that.

The L.I.F.E. System can operate in one of two modes called:

1)-The Harness Mode, and
2)-The Metaspace Mode

In the Harness Mode the client is placed in a “5 point harness” which includes placing Electromagnetically Sensitive Velcro Straps; one on each wrist, each ankle and around the forehead.

These straps help to send and receive messages to and from the L.I.F.E. System and to and from your body. They are the “channels” through which information flows.

In Metaspace Mode things get even more interesting. In this case there is no “direct contact” (i.e. no harness is used) between the L.I.F.E. System and the client. Employing advanced Quantum Mechanics it is possible for the L.I.F.E System to essentially locate an individual, with their permission of course, in “time” and “space”. This means that anyone, no matter where they are on the planet can access this form of help and without having to travel (You may wish to read another article I wrote describing how a client of mine had her depression addressed quickly and painlessly even though she lived 3 hours away from where I was).

This is not too different from what your radio or TV receiver does when you tune it to a particular channel. Your Bio-Field is transmitting subtle electromagnetic signals at all times and the L.I.F.E. System can be “tuned” to your specific Energy Bio-field Signals.

With this brief introduction you will hopefully be able to appreciate what follows.

L.I.F.E. is uniquely designed to give one an electromagnetic profile of the various nutritional imbalances that may exist at a given point in time in an individual’s body.

It is my personal opinion that all illnesses have their roots in such imbalances. It’s not too dissimilar to any other complex operating system, if all of the required parts are not available in their appropriate quantities and at the right times then sooner or later the system will begin to fail.

Now because each and every nutrient has not only a biochemical signature/effect but an electromagnetic one as well when the biochemical signal is absent (because the actual physical biochemical is absent) it is possible to temporarily compensate for this by supplying the electromagnetic signal for that biochemical.

When this is done rapidly and comprehensively for a series of important nutrients i.e. minerals, vitamins and amino acids via the L.I.F.E. system the individual’s mind and body receive what is akin to an electromagnetic “tune up” that takes effect immediately in real time.

I have used this simple and direct approach with many individuals with numerous problems (i.e. anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, endocrine disorders, obesity, pain syndromes etc.) effectively.

This approach, although not a cure, can help individuals get a head start in the process of feeling better fast.

If you are interested in know more about or experiencing the L.I.F.E. system feel free to contact me at the email address below.

No Cure For Cellulite, Learn To Live With It

For a woman who is concerned about cellulite, you must have find out all about the facts of cellulite : - they are ugly deposits of fat, water and waste trapped in the fibrous, connective tissue just beneath the skin, thereby giving a lumpy, rippled appearance when we pinch our skin. What’s more upsetting is that women are more likely to be affected by cellulite than men.

Cellulite is an irritable problem because they are found in areas difficult to exercise, like thighs, buttocks, breasts and abdomen. It is difficult to remove cellulite. Fact.

Some women do not give up. They approach experts’ help to remove the unwanted cellulite. However, don’t be fooled by these so-called 100% effective methods as they are temporary solutions which could really disappoint you in the end.

1. Creams and lotions

Advertisements claimed that such creams are able to improve cellulite by melting away fats, improving circulation, and removing toxins because of the herbal extracts, caffeine and vitamins in them. Though this method is the easiest and cheapest, there is very little evidence that they work. Some creams may cause skin allergic reactions.

2. Pills

Like creams, many pills containing vitamins, herbal or plant extracts claimed to be the removal agents for cellulite. Again, very little evidence shows their effectiveness. Instead, overdose of such pills often lead to malfunction of our organs, and in some serious cases, death.

3. Skin Wrapping

May or may not use with creams or lotions, this approach uses a skin wrap eg transparent film sheet to wrap the cellulite areas tightly for a period of time. It claims to “melt” the fats by applying pressure and heat on the affected areas but the effectiveness is yet to be proven.

4. Liposuction

Liposuction is said to be effective in removal of fat at deeper level and body contouring. However, the fat in cellulite is very superficial and distributed in small fibrous septa compartments. It cannot be easily removed by liposuction. In fact, by removing the deeper fat cushion beneath the fibrous septa compartments, cellulite may get worse.

5. Mesotherapy

This approach involves injecting medications and/or plant extracts into layers of fats which will stimulate the metabolism of fat cells and accelerate their elimination. Though this treatment is gaining popularity, there is actually very little data on efficacy and safety. The formulation used in injections has not been standardized and some clinics or weight management centers are not licensed to perform such injections. Thus, it comes no surprise that allergic or irritant reactions and infections have been reported with mesotherapy.

6. Massage therapy

Some massage system work, but only temporary. Usually, you will be asked to sign up for 10 to 20 intensive sessions, followed by maintenance sessions once or twice a month. The effect will soon be lost without the maintenance sessions.

During these sessions, high-tech machines, sometimes coupled with infra-red or radiofrequency energy are often used to massage on the affected areas so as to expedite the metabolism of fats and improving the elasticity of fibrous septa and fat. Cellulite will only improve after multiple treatments and appearance must be maintained with ongoing treatments.

Think about this ladies, if any of the methods above really works 100%, would we still worry about cellulite?

Does dieting and exercise helps?

Sad to say, dieting and exercise can help but they can’t totally solve the cellulite problem.

That’s because cellulite is basically a genetic, hormonal and anatomic problem. It signals poor lymphatic circulation which allows wastes to accumulate. It is heredity, meaning the loose connective tissues are inherited from our mothers. It also has to do with our age. That’s why skinny women may have this problem too.

However, Dieticians/Nutritionists still recommend that you exercise regularly and eat a low-fat, high-fiber diet. Exercise helps to build tone and muscle, which makes the skin looks firmer and improve blood circulation. A diet high in insoluble fiber with lots of water helps to wash out the waste from our system.

Whether you like it or not, cellulite is here to stay. We just had to learn to live with it.
