Those who open a dollar store soon find that it is a constant challenge to keep every type of merchandise always in-stock. In some cases there are merchandise availability problems. In others it is a matter of decisions about what to buy and when to buy it. In still others it is simply that there was an unusually high number of purchases.

No matter what the cause, when you open a dollar store you are responsible for insuring that your store is always stocked. To make sales, there must be merchandise. Even more important is that the merchandise must be what the customers want when they come to the store. If you fail to have the right items in stock, customers will go elsewhere to buy.

Efforts can be made to disguise the shortages by placing some other items in their location. However, customers will know that you are out of the items that they need. Daily needs such as household cleaners, personal care products and paper goods must always be in stock. Other items can be missing without impacting long term sales, but never the core essentials of daily life.

When sales floor stock levels run low on non-essential items be sure that end caps remain full of merchandise. Even if it requires mixing merchandise to achieve a full look, never allow these key sales areas to become empty. If you open a dollar store you will soon see that end caps are among the hottest selling areas for your store. You simply cannot afford to lose sales because end caps have been allowed to become empty.

Spread other merchandise by switching to shorter peg hooks. Simply taking down 12″ peg hooks and replacing them with 6″ peg hooks doubles the amount of space that merchandise will take! This action will go a long way toward giving your store a fuller appearance. However, remember that there is labor cost involved in maneuver.

When you open a dollar store there are many keys to success. One of them is to always maintain safe levels of merchandise in stock and available to your customers. Be sure you satisfy their needs by keeping essentials in stock at all times.

To Your Dollar Store Success!

How do you learn self hypnosis? Is there such a thing as self hypnosis and does it work? If you have had any interest in the subject of self hypnosis then you have probably asked these questions.

But you are actually asking the wrong questions. You should be wondering “How do I use my self hypnosis skills to change my life?” Yes that’s right, you already have the skills of self hypnosis. You have just forgotten them over time.

Can you remember a time in your childhood, right now, where you got caught up in a day dream. You may have been in school, staring at your book, but your mind was elsewhere. You may have been thinking about the place you were going to visit on the weekend with your parents. You were actually there at the seaside playing in the shallow waves of the shore.

Then the booming voice of your teacher brought you abruptly out of your day dream and back to the reality of the classroom. This was an example of your self hypnosis skills at play…but you did not know it.

Other times that you may have been in a self hypnotic trance were the times when you were listening to music and you loss track of time. More resent examples may be the times you have been driving in your car and forgotten how you got to a destination. These times of self hypnosis are often discouraged by others and you lose the ability to get into a trance easily.

If you were encouraged as a child to do a bit more guided day dreaming you would have learned the best skill to change any behavior you wanted for life…self hypnosis.

The good news is that we can all learn self hypnosis even in our later years. It is not a case of “you can’t teach old dogs new tricks”, you are never too old to learn.

You just need to learn the structure of self hypnosis and you can practice on your own and become as proficient as anyone else. Try self hypnosis out for yourself and discover the best skill you ever forgot.

If you’re promoting your website with article submissions, your article is more than likely one out of dozens that the article directory has available. When webmasters come looking for new content on their website, you need to be sure that yours is the one that jumps out at them from the list.

A good headline is the way to do that.

Your headline needs to be a mini sales pitch for the rest of the article. It shouldn’t be some bland combination of words that are somehow related to the subject of your article - make it crackle so it stops people in their tracks and makes them want to read on.

Let’s go through a simple example to see how it’s done…

We’ll start with the following headline:

“Writing Good Headlines”

Not that exciting, is it? Sure, it probably conveys the general subject of the article but it’s not gripping enough to get many readers.

Let’s take it a step further:

“How To Write Good Headlines”

“How to” is always a good way to start a headline. You’re telling the reader that they will learn how to do something. In other words, there’s value in it if they read on (assuming of course that you deliver on your promise).

Better, but still not good enough to really stand out from the crowd. So we’ll take it up another notch:

“How To Write Attention Grabbing Headlines”

Okay, now we’re getting somewhere. You want to include “action” words in your headline that can help to generate excitement. When they read your article, they’re not just going to learn how to write headlines - they’re going to learn how to write “attention grabbing” headlines.

That sounds more exciting, doesn’t it?

Still not quite enough action for my taste, though. So what’s another way of saying you’re going to get someone’s attention? How about grabbing them by the throat - that makes it clear that you mean business.

So our headline now becomes:

“How To Write Headlines That Will Grab Readers By The Throat”

Okay, now we’re talking action - you’ll be grabbing people by the throat. That’s pretty physical action, isn’t it?

Finally, you want to tell people what’s in it for them if they read your article. In our example’s case, it will force them to read your article:

“How To Write Headlines That Will Grab Readers By The Throat And Force Them To Read Your Article”

So here’s our formula in a nutshell:

1. Tell your reader what they’ll learn by reading your article
2. Include action words to generate more excitement
3. Give them a physical sense of action
4. Tell the reader what’s in it for them

If you follow these steps, you’ll have more people reading your articles - and visiting your website to read more - before you know it.

Are you using article marketing to promote your website? If so, you know how important anchor text links are for getting better search engine rankings. Zogol.com is a new free article directory that accepts anchor text links within the article body as well as in the author resource box.

With the Internet and growing number of publications, opportunities for writers have never been better. And to help you make the most of your writing skills, the following tips can help to increase your writing output.

1. Rather than sit down to a blank screen or sheet of paper without any thoughts, plan out what you are going to write. Agatha Christie did a lot of her thinking while washing up and, by using mundane activities such as this to sort out your thoughts, you will find you will get far more from your writing sessions.

2. Use modern technology to help you. If you write your material in longhand, to help speed up the transcription process you could use voice recognition software or there are programs available which convert handwriting to text. Look at how you write and work and if there is software or other tools that can speed up the process, use them.

3. Another way to be more productive is to specialize and make the most of your research and knowledge. If you have just written a piece on a certain subject, think of how it could be adapted to a different market. By considering other ways you can use your knowledge you will find this can increase your output rather than having to start fresh with each piece of writing you do.

4. If you write online articles, rather than regard them as essays, think bullet points. By listing the key points you want to put across in concise and numbered sentences, you will find this can speed up the time it takes to write and compile an article as well as being appreciated by online readers.

5. To help prevent false starts or wasting time and effort on projects you never finish, make an outline first. Organize your thoughts and facts and give structure to your work. By writing to an outline and plan, your work and writing will flow much better and ultimately lead to you writing and producing more.

6. One of the best resources writers can have is an ideas book and, by recording your ideas and thoughts, this ideas book can become a valuable resource. And by continually adding to it, when you are in need of inspiration or ideas to write about, by running through your ideas book, new ideas and possibilities can often come.

7. Deadlines help to concentrate the mind. By setting yourself your own personal writing deadlines and objectives - and keeping to them - you will find this can help to keep your writing on track as well as making you more productive.

8. Use your time efficiently. With the Internet, the wide variety of emails that come through as well as television, valuable writing time can quickly be lost. Be disciplined and, to write more, use your time wisely and cut down on time wasting activities.

9. Another way to increase your writing output is to think ahead. Although you may be busy on a particular writing project at the moment, give some thought to what your next piece may be about. This way you could find yourself gathering ideas, facts and thinking over possibilities and so, when you are ready to start your next work, you will be able to do so much quicker.

10. It is often said that practice makes perfect and the more you write, the better your skills will become. And by writing regularly you will not only be improving as a writer but all the time be adding to your output.

To be a productive writer you do need to be organized and self-disciplined and, by following these suggestions, you will find they can help you to write more and hopefully lead to more writing successes too.

Bark is part of dog’s natural and normal behavior and communication. Dogs can bark for good and befitting reasons, like as when they are flocking sheep, hear strange sounds and when outsider enters your house. Many of us desired our dogs to warn us against uncommon things and become watch dogs. But your dogs can also bark unsuitably which will lead to dog barking problem. Approximately, almost 1/3 of dog owners reported the excessive barking of their dogs based in two scientific surveys. We need first to know why they are barking in order to control their behavior.

Warning or alert barks are the kind of barks encourage by several owners. They wish their dog to warn them against the occurrence of a hazard or doubtful stranger. This is sometimes perceived as a severe level of dog barking problem.

Frequent low in pitch and integrated with growls are called aggressive barks. We’re required to recognize alerting barks from fearful barks. Barks that seek attention are always used by dogs to catch up your attention.

Sharp and short barks due to excitement are another form of dog barking problem. These are the usual barks if your dog gets too stimulated with the play or food. Frequently, a brief intermission will bring your dog into order.

If you heard that your dog appears to be responding other dogs barking, this is called a self-identification barking. Bored barkers plainly want an exit for their daily energy and a more exciting surrounding.

Anxious or lonely barking happens if your dog is undergoing separation anxiety. As he becomes more anxious and excited, barking can grow to self-reinforcing. Anxious barks inclined to get higher in pitch as he becomes more distressed. This can be particularly distracting to your neighbors.

There are various reasons for barking and some barking is a natural behavior while others are classified as dog barking problems. There are some conditions in which barking involves morbid or disease.

Are you even aware of what ultra light fishing is? Many anglers seem to think it’s using fishing gear that’s small enough for landing minnows, but this simply isn’t the case. In my view, ultra light fishing is actually closer to what we describe as regular fishing, and these ultra light fishing tips will help you catch more fish. For example I was watching the FLW tour on television the other day and some joker caught a 1 ½ pound largemouth bass on eight pound test, and the announcer kept commenting on how that line was to light for bass fishing. In reality, the angler was simply ultra light fishing for largemouth bass. He was using gear that was matched to what he was fishing for. This type of thing is seen as taboo among most bass anglers who consider ten pound test to be “light line”. Do you realize that ten pound test will hold ten pounds of weight before breaking? That’s what ten pound test means.

The bottom line is that to me ultra light fishing actually means using line and lures that are matched to what you’re fishing for without going into the range of overkill. Whatever the definition of ultralight fishing is, there are some ultra light fishing tips that can help you.

The weight of your line - As mentioned earlier, you want the pound test of your fishing line to match the size of fish that you’re trying to catch. For example, when I fish for trout in my favorite river, the biggest trout I would ever encounter would be six pounds (and that would be a once in a lifetime giant). Therefore I use four pound test monofilament. This diameter line is more than enough to land the fish I will catch, even big ones. I’ve caught five pond trout on four pound test many times.

The size of your bait - This is where ultralight fishing is different. Because you use line matched to you’re fish, this them enables the angler to use lures and bait that are smaller. While these lures are smaller than most people are accustomed to, ultra light lures are actually the size of the prey the fish are used to. This fact is a big advantage for the angler.

The size of your gear - Again, this is where ultra light fishing seems different, because the rods and reels that are used are much smaller than many anglers are accustomed to. And again, I think the size of ultra light gear is much more in line with the type of fish that are being fished for. For example I use a five foot ultra light rod for most of my small river and stream fishing. When the water’s really high, I’ll use a six foot six inch ultralight rod for added sensitivity. My fishing reel remains the same. I land fish that are quite large (in the 5-6 pound class) with gear this size and people think I’m nuts. To me it’s much more sportsmanlike to use fishing gear this size for fish in this size range. Obviously if I’m Steelhead fishing, I upgrade my gear to something heavier, because the fish that are caught are so much bigger.

In my opinion, the bottom line is that ultra light fishing is the most effective way to catch fish. Especially in Small River and stream situations. Ultralight gear and baits are all I use in such situations (unless of course Steelhead are the goal.) Many anglers think that large fish can’t be landed on ultra light gear, but this simply isn’t true. And I’ve said in this article, I catch large fish all the time. The other great thing about ultra light fishing is that you become a better angler. Ultralight gear forces you to play your catch, the way God intended, rather than just winching the poor fish out of the water. Remember, fishing is supposed to be a “sport”, not a job.

Uterus Fibroid - Holistic Treatment

Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in /wwwroot/gphone-android.com/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 1142

Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to surl.cn:80 (php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known) in /wwwroot/gphone-android.com/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 1142

The mental causes for fibroids are compelled by nursing a hurt from a partner, which is experienced as a blow to a woman’s ego. Here are some facts.

–Types of Fibroids: Serosal, Intra-Mural and Sub-Mucous.

–Fibroids are also called: Myoma, Leiomyoma, Leiomyomata and Fibromyoma.
–Fibroids are benign growths, arising from the muscular wall of the uterus.

–Fibroids vary in size, and can remain for years with little change. Others grow faster and reach the size of a 5 month pregnancy or more.
–Most common symptons: Pelvic pain/pressure and heavy menstrual bleeding. For some women difficulty becoming pregnant is the first indication of fibroids

–During pregnancy, pre-existing fibroids can increase 3-5 times in size. This is believed to be due in part to the very high estrogen level in pregnancy, as well as to other factors stimulating the pregnancy changes. Generally after pregnancy, fibroids shrink to their pre-pregnancy size.
–Menopausal women who take estrogen show a varying response. Some who start with significant size fibroids may notice a slow increase in size, while others experience very little change.

–Approximately 80% of women by age 50 have uterine fibroids. 25-30% of Caucasians, and 50% of women of African background. When tiny fibroids are included, some studies suggest that by the menopause nearly every woman has them.

–In most cases, there is more than one fibroid present. Sometimes there are as many as 50 or more. A solitary fibroid is much less frequent.

–Cancer in a fibroid is highly uncommon (1:750 to 1000). Some data suggests that cancer (sarcoma) does not arise from a pre-existing fibroid, but develop in an area of the uterus not a fibroid.

To effectively implement a holistic protocol, seek evaluation by a holistic practitioner. What is recommended depends on your specific individual health and the duration of the fibroids. It also depends on your age and fertility desires, the size and number of your fibroid tumors, the location of your fibroids and the symptoms they are causing. Any treatment protocol needs to be tailored to your situation. See elements of Holistic Treatment at http://www.millennium-healthcare.com/newweb/articles/drclofine/holistic_protocol_for_uterine_fibroids/holistic_protocol_for_uterine_fibroids.htm

In addition to implementing holistic outer protocol, you need to go within to address the emotional reason you created the fibroids-nursing a hurt from a partner, which you experienced as a blow to your ego. You need to release the pattern in yourself that attracted this experience-then begin creating only good in your life.

Ask yourself what are my insecurities? What negative beliefs do I have about myself? What boundaries do I need to set in order to honor my integrity? Am I a sexual abuse survivor or do I wonder if I am a sexual abuse survivor, but don’t know for sure? A higher percentage of women who are sexual abuse survivors have fibroids than woman who are not sexual abuse survivors. This is not surprising since sexual abuse is a major blow to the female ego.

If after honestly asking these questions, you are unable to discover the emotional element of your fibroids consult with a holistic-mind, body, spirit-healer. www.drdorothy.net

There is so much involved in making your participation at a trade show successful. Most people think that showing up and promoting a business is all that is needed. This is not entirely true. Probably the most important aspect of attending trade shows is following up with potential clients afterward.

Structure your tasks when you market your work at the next trade show. Divide them into groups of pre-show, at-show, and post-show. Of course the pre-show planning process is essential. You must have your graphic materials, brochures, and promotional products ordered, printed, and ready beforehand. At the trade show event itself, it is necessary to work on public relations, make contacts, give away promotional items, and circulate your marketing materials. However, even after the show has ended, your standard protocol should involve checking in with the connections you have established. You don’t want all of your hard work, time, and energy to be wasted by not following through. You come to a trade show to market your business, so be sure you are really trying to make your sales.

One of the most crucial elements is time. Don’t put off reconnecting with individuals interested in your business. Make those calls to check back with potential clients soon after meeting them. You want your positive image to be easily recalled and you want to continue the helpful, eager impression you have created. Follow up right away and show your clients how dedicated you are. And, if you agree to send clients additional materials or supplies, do so promptly upon returning home. If a customer needs more information on a product or if there might be information that you need to investigate, then make this an after trade show priority. Demonstrate your speediness and ability to keep your word. This will build credibility and support your image as well.

You can actually begin your after show work during your initial planning process. You can create special thank you notes for those you networked with. On the other hand, consider sending out a flyer of upcoming specials or discounts. Create your materials in advance. Have them printed, stuffed in envelopes, and stamped. That way all you need to do to wrap the event up is to personalize the mail with addresses, a signature, and maybe a handwritten note.

Consider also shipping a small, relatively inexpensive promotional product to your potential clients. Work with a promotional consultant to select an item that best ties into your trade show theme.

Your method of mail can influence the way your contacts receive it. Choose a carrier like Federal Express or UPS. Show these contacts that you mean business. Packaging can also catch clients by surprise, and doing something out of the ordinary will encourage them to open your mail.

If any of your business is local business, skip the mailing altogether, and opt for making a personal appearance. Bring the after show literature and promotional gift in person.

Once you obtain your potential client’s contact information at the trade show, utilize the various methods of modern communication and try a variety of them. Consider e-blasts, faxes, postcards, personal phone calls, coupons, and newsletters. Keep track of the times you send out marketing materials and the method employed. Don’t overwhelm your contacts by bombarding them too frequently. Note also though which techniques get the best responses.

So what if you don’t make that big sale? Perhaps you didn’t strike a deal with contact you thought had committed. Keep such people on your list anyway.

One success story involves a lake water management company. The representatives administered their brochures and aquatic pictures during their stay at the show. They spent hours explaining to people what it was that they exactly did. They got the names and contact information of those who expressed an interest in their field or requested catalogs. After the show had ended, they didn’t stop there. They created a special mailing list of those they met, and sent additional materials along with a promotional product. Even though the item they sent out had nothing directly related to their line of work, they sent out pill dispensers imprinted with their company logo. Attached was a note that read, “We’ve got the remedy.”

To reiterate, following up with your potential clients is most critical part of the trade show process. Besides distributing your brochures, handing out your promotional products, and networking, remember the closing procedures of a trade show. You’re there to establish contacts, so strengthen them and stay connected by following up soon after the closure of the next trade show event.

Parenting Your Teenager

Can parenting a teenager be hard work? You bet! In fact, sometimes it can be more difficult than managing a career. This is a tough responsibility for any married couple, made even more difficult should your home be a single parent home. There is a great deal of pressure involved in helping to shape the life of a child. This pressure can build to a point where you may feel that you just don’t know what to do anymore.

In addition to the developmental years when a child’s brain and personality are developing, another crucial period in a child’s life cycle are the teenage years. With so many challenges during the teenage years, it’s not uncommon for a parent to sometimes wish the child would just stay a child, or magically grow into adulthood overnight. The teenage years are a period that the child, and the parents, will have to deal with; as the child’s experiences during this period will shape their lives, habits, and behavioral patterns that will define their adulthood.

Sometimes, surviving the challenge of teenage parenting is easier said than done.

During a child’s teenage years emotions run high, and hormones are raging. Add to that enormous peer pressure, and social group dynamics which sometimes force a teenager to make decisions, and choices they are not yet prepared to make. The desire to “fit in” quite often contradicts the teachings of parents, and many times is the reason a child will get involved in drinking, drugs, gang life, and even early pregnancy.

This time period of teenage parenting is quite often the cause of a great deal of stress in the family. To avoid the meltdowns, and foster greater understanding between parent and teenager, here are a few tips that may prove helpful:

See Things Through Their Eyes

There is no greater sense of a generation gap than when trying to parent a teenager. Todays issues in a teenagers life can be things that parents know little about, or cannot completely understand. Many times, in these cases, the parent resorts to enforcing discipline without really understanding what the issue is about.

This parental response is one of the most common mistakes made by parents when dealing with their teenage children. They too quickly forget that times change with each generation, and what was true in their time may no longer be true.

Parents must make a determined effort to understand their children’s situation. When parents increase their understanding of just what is going on in their teenagers life, they can then can make an informed decision as to whether or not discipline is necessary, or even warranted. Talk to your teenager, and listen to your teenager. If discipline is in order, be sure that they understand why. That way, a mutual understanding can be made regarding the situation, and even if they do not agree with your actions, they should at least appreciate your efforts to understand them. This open communication regarding a problem will also help them develop a better understanding of you.

Always Encourage Openness

Parenting your teenager with policies that are too strict is self-defeating in regards to the development of mutual trust. Open communication between parents and teenagers is key in developing the mutual respect that is necessary during this time period. You can impose all the rules you want - “you can’t do this,” you can’t go there”. But, without mutual trust and understanding there is no way you can be sure your directives are being listened to, or if they are even necessary.

Be open to conversation, encourage your teenager to confide in you, and listen to what they have to say. While parenting your teenager may not be easy, it can be successfully done with mutual trust and understanding.

With the future of our children greatly depending on the style of parenting practiced by their parents, it’s no wonder parenting is one of the most difficult yet rewarding experiences one could ever have.

Todays multitude of parenting styles and strategies are created based on our constantly changing world, and the many factors brought on by the advancements of modern technology.

One of the most popular and effective parenting styles of today involves the training of children to develop responsibility while at the same time putting fun back into parenting. This principle is included in the parenting method commonly known as “love and logic” parenting. This parenting style has been developed and advanced by former school principal and educational consultant Jim Fay, by child psychologist Charles Fay, and by child psychiatrist Foster Cline.

With this parenting method, two elements are emphasized to manage effective parenting: the showing of love, and the use of parental logic at the same time. The idea behind this theory is the simple use of logic in dealing with children. The parents are to provide an atmosphere where love, acceptance, and empathy exist. Within this atmosphere the parents allow the natural consequences of their child’s behavior, and then use these consequences to teach the child a logical lesson.

Incorporating logic into parenting can be especially effective during the early years of a child’s life when the consequences of a wrong choice are not overly detrimental. The encouraged use of parenting logic will help parents to raise a child that is fully capable of making the right decisions. A trait that will help prepare the child to face the challenges offered by adulthood.

How To Be A Logical Parent

Experts believe that parenting logic requires parents to advocate the raising of their children using logical decisions. What does this mean? The parents allow a child to learn that his or her actions will have corresponding consequences. Logical parents have learned the value of letting their children, whenever it’s appropriate, make their own choices as long as the decisions will help the child grow and mature as an adult individual.

Parenting logic is practiced using common sense and is not restricted by what is considered to be the norm, or what society dictates. Logical parenting is not to be confused with natural parenting where natural consequences are used to teach a child to learn from his or her own experiences. With logical parenting, consequences are arranged by the parent, and are experienced by the child for their specific misbehavior.

Experts distinguish the two styles by stating that using natural consequences will allow the child to develop self-discipline and internal motivation; while using parenting logic the consequences help the child to be more accountable for his or her actions.

Which ever style you prefer, it’s important to remember that in order to solve problems, or to discipline a child, the method you choose must remain consistent. Always bear in mind that parental guidance and discipline must always be based on fair and firm limits, and be practiced with kindness and respect for the child.
