The 2007 Honda civic Hybrid will run you approximately $22,000 without any of the special add-on features. If you’re going to buy a hybrid with features such as the Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ and fog lights and all of that, you’re looking at a $30,000 vehicle. All prices aside, I will take you into this vehicle and show you what it’s all about.

Honda Civic Hybrid Standard Features

The first standard feature on the list is Multipoint fuel injection. Multipoint fuel injection is a system that injects the fuel into each cylinder as opposed to a carburetor or throttle body injections that injects fuel at one point in the intake system.

Next we have the, Drive-by-Wire Throttle System which improves engine efficiency while reducing vehicle emissions. The way this is done is it replaces the old throttle control system with an electronic system that is more accurate, requires no oil or service, and does not get affected by outside forces such as hot or cold weather.

Following that we have front-wheel drive. This feature obviously means the front, rather than that rear wheels move the car. There are many reasons for this that has to do with control and handling.

Direct Ignition System with Immobilizer is the next feature. Theoretically, the advantage of this system rather than traditional ignition systems is that it doesn’t have parts that can wear out and cause you problems in the future when you try to start your car.

Next on the list we have unit-body construction. This is a system that just tries to lower the weight of the car so it’s fuel efficient.

This vehicle also comes with, MacPherson strut front suspension which is not better than double wishbone suspension but it’s still better than most. Only problem with this is that the wheel actually will bend in which effects the sharpness of the turn. Well, at least you get to save a few bucks here because of this feature.

Lastly, this vehicle comes with a spare tire like many other cars do just to add that extra feature on the list.

Honda Civic Hybrid Specifications

The Honda Civic Hybrid runs on an In-Line 4-Cylinder aluminum-alloy engine. It has a 1339 cc. displacement, 110 @ 6000 horsepower, 123 @ 1000-2500 toque, and 10:8:1 compression ratio. It received an AT-PZEV fuel rating (best) which determines how well it runs on the same amount of fuel compared to other cars.

This hybrid vehicle gets approximately 49 miles per gallon (51 highway) meaning you will get more for the money. The following are measurements that depict the volume inside the vehicle. If you’re a big person, you will need to look for these to make sure you’re comfortable. In any case, the only reason why I condone the use of a large car is 1) camping equipment, 2) big people. You have to be comfortable and if your not, you have my blessing to pollute. The head room for a Honda Civic is approximately 39 inches in the front and 37 inches in the back. The leg room is approximately 42 inches in the front and 34 inches in the back. The shoulder room in the front is approximately 54 inches in the front and 52 inches in the back.

You may be required to install an ignition interlock device on your vehicle for the purposes of making sure that you cannot drive while there is a measurable amount of alcohol in your body. If you have a third conviction within a ten year time period, your vehicle will be seized by the state. If you are sentenced to treatment or alcohol assessment, it may be at your own cost and you may be required to comply with any recommendations made by the assessment professional.

In our quest for healthier environments for our families
one of the major areas of recent attention has been indoor

In today’s day and age, it’s complete lunacy for businesses to ignore the importance of eMarketing and how it can ultimately benefit their bottom line. Using eMarketing techniques to promote your business not only exposes your products and services to a huge array of potentially new clients but it does so without limiting you and your marketing campaign to any physical location. Your new clients could come from Switzerland, California or Tokyo - the possibilities are endless!

So, you’re probably thinking to yourself that this new method of marketing sounds great but how can it benefit me and does it really work. Well, to put it simply, yes it does and it can work for you. When most people hear the term “Certified Nursing Assistant” (better known as CNA), the first thing that comes to mind is a career in a nursing home. While it’s true that this is probably the industry’s biggest demand for CNAs, there are other places to use this certification. But what exactly is a CNA, and how can it work for you?

The Certified Nursing Assistant is a person who aids in the daily care of those needing nursing care. Think there’s nothing to the job? Think again.

One of the first things many nurses say they learned is that nursing isn’t about dispensing medicines, giving shots or even taking orders from the doctor. Some daycares and schools also employ CNAs to help handle minor health issues at school. While these CNAs don’t dispense medication or do any of those jobs handled by a nurse, they do use their training to help children with health issues and help the school deflect problems before they become serious issues. A CNA for a school will quickly learn to spot infections and to help curb the spread of problems such as ringworm.

CNAs may also work in rehabilitation programs or similar facilities. While licensed professionals will do therapy, the CNAs often have more time to devote to patients, meaning they develop relationships and become an integral part of the recovery process.

A scientist in the UK is looking to use HIV to correct faulty genes in un-born babies which have cystic fibrosis.

The scientist is Suzanne Buckley from University College in London and she has successfully used HIV as a genetic material carrier to fix faulty cystic fibrosis genes in the lungs of mice.

Suzanne Buckley will be presenting her findings at the British Society for Gene Therapy conference in Warwick. The title of her findings will be labeled, “Significant lung transduction after in utero and neonatal 30 administration of lentiviral vectors”.

According to Medical News Today, “In 1989 an international team of scientists identified the CF gene, and established that it sits on chromosome number 7. Each human cell has 23 pairs of chromosomes, each in the pair coming from each parent and carrying about 30,000 genes. The CF gene instructs the production of a protein called CFTCR (Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator) which moves salt and water in and out of cells lining the lungs and the digestive tract. However, in people with cystic fibrosis the CF gene is faulty and causes too much salt and too little water to be transported which produces the sticky mucous that clogs the lungs.”

The HIV virus is used as a carrier or “vector” because they invade the cells of living organisms, and make the hosts DNA obey and help the virus to replicate. It also inserts its own RNA and merge it with the genetic material of the host. The key is to control and manipulate the virus to deliver the results the scientist wants.

Rhonda Byrne, the producer of the new DVD movie, “The Secret“, has brought to the attention of the world what seems to be a universal law that has been used by the rich and powerful people of the world for ages. This “Law of Attraction” which is featured in the movie, was used by ancient rulers and kings thousands of years ago and all the way up to present times. Now we are being let in on this so called secret. The basic principle behind this law is that if a person can see it and feel it they can receive it.

Val Smyth, creator of the Mentors in Motion seminar series has a slightly different take on the law of attraction. In his 3 hour seminar is the “Captain and the Crew” technique that basically says the front part of the brain, known as the captain or the conscious part, gives the orders to the back part of the brain, the crew or subconscious. The captain gives the orders and the crew carries those orders out without question. Therefore what you order the subconscious mind to manifest the subconscious mind will put into action those things in your life to bring it about.

I personally know that that is a very basic understanding of it. Some of the people in the movie give their own testimonies as to how that law has worked in their lives and what has transpired through the use of the law of attraction. Jack Canfield is one of the spokespersons in the movie and is now capitalizing on it’s notoriety by making multiple appearances on Larry King Live, Oprah and just recently on the Montel show. Through his stories and in his book “The Success Principles” he has inspired thousands to improve their lives simply by taking complete 100% responsibility for the state of their lives today. Once you learn that no matter what your circumstances are now, they are the result of your previous actions or decisions, then you will understand that you have attracted everything that is currently around you. Now for the good news. Since this concept is that you have attracted everything around you, you are able to attract whatever you focus on for the future whether one day from now or a week or a year and even further into the future by simply using a few simple techniques.

Step one as I mentioned, is to take full responsibility for your present situation. Step two is to think about where you would like to be or what you would like to do or what your relationship would be like in the future, near or distant, then visualize it every day. Set specific target dates for these things to be accomplished and I mean very specific. Such as “I will have $300,000 in my bank account by July 15th at 3:00 PM.” Or I will find the person of my dreams at 9:00 AM on December 29, 2007. The next thing as I said is to visualize what that looks like to you as if it has already transpired. You will have to feel the feelings that will be there when your vision has already taken place in order to be in alignment with the universal flow of energy that will bring these events to fruition. You must do this every day for at least 30 days for the feelings to be a part of your subconscious thought processes. The law of attraction will put in your path those things for you to take action on that fulfills your visualizations. That brings us to step 3 which as I just mentioned is, take action. This is really one of the key ingredients with using the law of attraction. The universe will bring into your life that what you ask for or a way to get what you are asking for but if you don’t respond by taking immediate action you will not achieve your goal.

So in conclusion, the three things incorporated into the universal law of attraction, ask, answer and receive. You ask, the universe answers and you receive. Basic but very complex, wouldn’t you agree?

There is a lot more of the law of attraction and the testimonies of the contributors in the movie. Most that have run across it are astounded by the concepts portrayed there. Is it the new “Pet Rock”? Only time will tell, for now it is a huge hit.
