One of these latest products from Callaway Cars headed for New York show is the C16 Convertible super car that is based on the popular Chevrolet Corvette platform. Designed by veteran Callaway Cars designer Paul Deutschman, the Callaway C16 Convertible has been remodeled from the original design and received additional design cues while retaining other features of the Chevy Corvette like the power top and probably the GM throttle body spacers.

Inside the cockpit, the C16 Convertible’s interior comes in German leather and Alcantara trim designs. There are also numerous Callaway badging on the interior parts like door sill panels, steering wheel and passenger dash, to name the few. The Callaway C16 also comes with serial numbered plaque on each model that marks its identity.

Well, as expected for a super car model, the Callaway C16 Convertible is equipped with a high performance engine under its sleek and stylish hood. The C16 Convertible comes with a monstrous supercharged 6.0-liter V8 engine capable of pumping out 560 hp. For customers who starve for more power output, Callaway is offering the optional Performance Package. With this optional powertrain package, the V8 engine pumps out an impressive 616 hp at 6,200 rpm and produces 582 lb-ft amount of peak torque at 4,750 rpm.

The engine is combined with three available transmission types including 6-speed manual gearbox, another 6-speed manual gearbox with shorter ratios in the first four gears, and a 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shift. This powertrain package allows the Callaway C16 Convertible to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of over 200 mph. In spite of the powerful performance, the C16 Convertible still offers an impressive fuel economy compared to other super car models as well as low exhaust emissions.

For the super car’s dynamic handling, Callaway equipped the new C16 Convertible with newly developed Callaway/Eibach Multi-Pro coil-over suspension along with super-lightweight Callaway Dymag wheels dubbed as the “lightest road wheel in the industry”. The C16 Convertible is equipped with 19-inch Dymag wheels on the front, and 20-inch at the rear fitted with 285/30ZR19 front and 325/25ZR20 rear performance tires.

And the sticker price? Well, you can get the high-performance Callaway C16 Convertible on your garage by spending $128,765 USD.

What’s new for GM Racing? Well, aside from manufacturing auto parts like GM tail light guards for their race cars, GM also got something new for the motor sports industry. The 2007 season of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series is an important event for GM Racing team for them to unveil a brand new racing machine and an all-new engine. GM will make the NASCAR debut of the Chevrolet Impala SS “Car of Tomorrow” along with R07 small-block V-8 racing engine. Along with the debut of the Chevrolet Impala SS, GM also announced their latest development in testing vehicle aerodynamics called the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) that will be implemented in all GM race cars.

Here is how Kevin Bayless, GM Racing oval track chassis/aero Program Manager explains how the CFD works:
“The best way to describe CFD is a wind tunnel in a computer. CFD is a simulation that predicts the aerodynamic forces acting on a vehicle using computational methods rather than physical measurements. CFD allows engineers and racing teams to evaluate the effects of aerodynamic changes quickly on a computer screen rather than in a conventional wind tunnel.

The CFD software requires a supercomputer because the number of calculations is immense. For example, our aerodynamic models typically have more than 10 million discrete data points that are used to calculate the forces. It really is rocket science.”

GM Racing will first implement the CFD aerodynamic simulation system to the next-generation Chevrolet Impala SS that will debut in NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. GM said engineers utilized the CFD to gain insight into the effects of the new body shape, front splitter, and adjustable rear wing of the Impala SS. However, GM said although CFD is a powerful engineering tool for testing vehicle aerodynamics, it is not a replacement for the typical wind tunnel and track testing.

Bayless commented: “Although the Car of Tomorrow is highly regulated, it’s not a spec race car. As a manufacturer, Chevrolet was able to define many of the details that separate the Impala SS from our competitors’ cars. The headlights, grille, portions of the hood, and the tail were areas where GM Racing was able to incorporate Impala SS styling cues and brand identity. These areas are now fixed as part of the NASCAR Impala SS package.”

Just wait and see how the Chevrolet Impala SS “Car of Tomorrow” performs at the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series this season.

General Motor’s Saturn division has released the details and the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2007 Saturn Aura Green Line Hybrid. The car is now beginning to arrive in Saturn dealerships straight from General Motor’s assembly plant in Kansas City.

Jill Lajdziak, Saturn General Manager commented:
“The Aura Green Line is a great value among the hybrids in the mid-size car segment. With a starting sticker price over $2,000 less than any mid-sized hybrid sedan and a $1,300 tax credit, it makes true hybrid fuel savings available to more people than ever before.”

Because the Aura Green Line is a hybrid model, consumers expect that the vehicle will have a clean and lower exhaust emissions and low fuel consumption. The 2007 Saturn Aura Green Line Hybrid received an official fuel economy rating of 28 mpg city and 35 mpg highway, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). According to GM’s Saturn division, “The Aura Green Line’s EPA fuel economy rating of 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway represents up to a 30 percent improvement in EPA combined fuel economy compared to the non-hybrid Aura XE model.”

With a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $22,695 USD, Saturn said the 2007 Aura Green Line Hybrid has the lowest price in the hybrid vehicle segment for 2007.

As a hybrid vehicle, the 2007 Saturn Aura Green Line is equipped with a powertrain package that combines a precise electric motor or generator with a 2.4-liter petrol engine. Overall powertrain output is 164 hp (122 kW) at 6400 rpm and 159 lb.-ft. (215 Nm) of peak torque at 5000 rpm, mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox, and GM thermostats. With this powertrain feature, the 2007 Saturn Aura Green Line provides better fuel economy, thanks to the electric motor that assists the engine to produce power output during acceleration. The electric motor can obtain and replenish its electrical energy by regenerative breaking.

Key standard features found on the 2007 Saturn Aura Green Line Hybrid include 16-inch alloy wheels, SBRP215/60R16 BSW touring tires, daytime running lights automatic headlights with automatic on/off, rear window defroster, front dual sunvisors, front and rear body color bumpers, front air dam, and halogen headlights.

Interior and safety features include body color folding power adjustable exterior rearview mirrors, power windows with driver one-touch up and one-touch down, dual-stage front air bags, side head-curtain and front-seat thorax protection air bags, StabiliTrak electronic stability control (ESC), four-wheel disc brakes with anti lock braking system (ABS), and GM’s OnStar safety and security system.

Meanwhile, Saturn has announced that it will launch the Vue Green Line SUV featuring front-wheel-drive (FWD) platform and GM’s new 2-mode hybrid powertrain system by 2008.

General Motors Corp.’s (GM) HUMMER division got something to offer for British auto enthusiasts this coming week. The Detroit-based automaker will bring the popular HUMMER H3 in dealer showrooms across the UK. To adapt in the driving standards of the country, GM will offer a right hand drive (RHD) version of the HUMMER H3 mid size SUV that will roll out in the country starting this summer.

In an opening ceremony held at the Bauer Millett HUMMER facility in Manchester, England, Bob Lutz, GM Vice chairman and Global Product Development launched a prototype HUMMER H3 model with right hand drive configuration. In addition, he also commented: “HUMMER’s iconic design and unparalleled off-road capabilities appeal to a wide audience globally. We are determined to build upon the brand’s unique recognition in Europe and especially here in the UK”.

Based on General Motor’s GMT345 vehicle platform, the HUMMER H3 features more compact overall dimension compared to the HUMMER H2 model. The body length measures 186.7 inches, and 85.5 inch width. The H3’s wheelbase measures 111.9-inch long. Outside, the HUMMER H3 is equipped with HUMMER’s signature 7-slot louvered grille along with other exterior parts including round headlamps, and vertical lines in the rear and side of the vehicle, embossed skid plate, GM tail pipe, 16- or 18-inch large alloy wheels, and rectangular windows. These features of the HUMMER H3 shows off the traditional HUMMER design cues for on- and off-road vehicles. Can’t get enough? The HUMMER H3 also offers numerous optional equipments for the UK peeps. These include trailering package, trailer hitch receiver cover, chrome brush grille guard, chrome tubular assist step, rocker panel protector, splash guards, and hitch mounted bike carrier, side window deflectors, just to name the few.

Moving on the inside, the H3 is equipped with luxurious and comfortable bucket seats for a maximum of five persons. All seats found on the HUMMER H3 have leather appointments along with double-stitched “French” seams and bunch of interior inserts and piping options to choose from. In addition, a density foam and soft bolsters are also included for additional traveling comfort as well as 60/40 split rear seats that can be folded down to add up to the vehicle’s cargo space. Other standard or optional features include sliding glass sunroof, all-season floor mats and cargo mats, fabric cargo area liner, and side protector cover.

The HUMMER H3 with right hand drive (RHD) configuration will arrive in UK dealerships equipped with General Motors’ monstrous Vortec 3.7-litre (3464 cc) engine with dual overhead camshafts and variable valve timing. The engine is capable of delivering 242 hp (164 kW) at 5600 rpm and 242 lb-ft (305 Nm) amount of peak torque at 2800 rpm.

Compared to other HUMMER models, the H3 is available with either manual or automatic gearboxes, the first model to have one. Customers can choose between the five-speed manual transmission or the Hydra-Matic 4L60 electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission powering the four wheels. GM’s StabiliTrak stability control system (ESC) is available for the H3 as a standard component.

You would need these ingredients in you plan to success. First, you need to find your target market. What I meant here is not just any market, but a very focus market, one where the people are extremely hungry and they have the ability to pay for what they want. Secondly, you need to identify the product for them. What is that market’s need, what exactly are they looking to buy? Usually you will find that any solutions to people’s problem are easier products to sell. Thirdly, we need to know how to reach out to these people, how to market to them and make them be aware of your product and make them wanting to buy a piece of the action. Last but not least, just duplicate the above three steps when you are done with one product. You will find that this is the key to automation and you will improve on your ways, research and products offering the next time round.

Of course the 4 steps would take you a long time to learn. Along the way, you might even be distracted. Remember when I mentioned about needing a plan in the beginning? This is where you need to be focused and stay true to your plan. There will always be lots of get rich schemes everyday, forget those. If you stick to your plan, your success will stay with you. Homophobia is a term that I am not extremely fond of. However, it describes my husband perfectly. I will not fault him completely for this due to his father is of the same nature. I will admit, there are flaws to my theory of this discrimination being past down in the family tree. My jury is still out on whether or not you are born being gay or straight. I believe all of life is based on the choices you make, no matter what your situation at birth. My thinking was based on what would make a person choose to be gay or straight or even undecided. Please keep in mind that I was under the influence of Reality TV,and me sharing my thoughts with you is not intended to be offensive in any way whatsoever.

Why would a women choose to be with another female? Well let’s think this through. The issue of no communication would be eliminated. Women are very intuitive and let’s face it great minds think alike. The constant hope that your partner is going to pitch in and help any minute, without being beat over the head, would no longer exist. When a woman walks into a room she knows what needs to be done, and probably already designated a time to accomplish it. My reasons could go on and on, but I think you get the idea.

My thoughts on men choosing to be gay are honestly cloudy. However, I must remember that all men should not be compared to the one I am currently married to. I am sure there are the elite few that care about their appearance, desire to live in an organized and tidy fashion, and are blessed with some form of communication skills. Why is it that my encounters with gay men leave me wishing they were not gay. I always meet the good looking, nicely dressed, well mannered and highly educated man that has not the slightest interest in women. This is why I believe men should only consider being bi-sexual. It would truly benefit both genders in society.

I could not fathom why women would prefer bi-sexuality. Straight women are now blessed with so many tools of the trade that a typical man is really no longer needed to satisfy the sexual needs. This is why I believe that women should only be lesbians. We should not be subjected to any substandard type of male being. I am not bashing the straight male on hearsay. Ask any woman who is married or in a relationship and eventually she will say what I say on a regular basis: ” I truly know why women are lesbians”!

Weight loss on the internet can be a very confusing subject.
