Internet Dating After Divorce - The Rules of Engagement

Divorced or not, your friends have mixed reviews about internet dating. One friend tells you that it’s wonderful; she met her new boyfriend on-line. Another friend relays horror stories! In any event, your divorce is final and you have decided to take the plunge.

Before you begin building a profile on an internet dating site though, you should be aware of some “rules of engagement”.

1. Personality is important. However, you may never have a chance to impress a man with your sparkling personality if you have not attracted him with your pretty picture. The fact is that internet dating is, at least initially, a superficial medium. You have to draw your target with an attractive, clear picture of yourself.

2. Your profile is your calling card. Take the time to make yourself sound interesting and really differentiate yourself from the herd.

3. Create a pseudo e-mail for “secondary contact”. In other words, when a man with whom you are corresponding on an internet-site asks for your e-mail address, provide to him a web-based e-mail, rather than your home or work e-mail address. If you decide that he is too strange-for-words, you can simply discontinue communications without interrupting your regular communications.

4. Do not release any personal information until and unless your internet date has proven trustworthy and safe. For the same reason, schedule your first meeting during the day-time, in a public location. Make sure you have an “escape plan” if the date is a disaster.

5. Anticipate that your date will look different, probably worse, in real-life versus his picture. Occasionally, you may have a pleasant surprise when a date actually looks similar or even better than their posted picture.

6. Be optimistic but realistic. There are women who successfully meet their boyfriend or husband on-line. However, enter the on-line dating scene with a conservative outlook.

7. Consider the necessary qualities of the person you seek, and stipulate accordingly in your profile. For example, if smoking is an absolute deal-breaker, indicate accordingly, in your profile. You could indicate that you want a man who “…leads a healthy lifestyle” or simply be blunt and state “no smokers need apply”.

8. Have a sense of humor. Always look on the bright side… your nightmare-date could prove an entertaining story at your next get-together with friends!

9. Watch your purse-strings. On-line dating can be expensive, depending upon which site you use, and what features you select. Paying on-line doesn’t seem like you’re spending real money. But you are spending money, and it can add up.

Above all else, keep your options open. Enjoy on-line dating after your divorce, as it’s a great way to widen the scope of the persons you can meet. Remember, however, that you might meet Mr. Right anywhere, at any time. Therefore, participate in on-line dating with your eyes open, but don’t turn off your sexy wit when you go for dinner with your parents at that fancy Italian restaurant…. You might hit it off with that charming waiter, who is working his way through medical school!

Massage Studies

If you are seeking a new career path, but your time and resources are limited, you may want to look into massage studies. The practice of massage is one of the most sought-after educational programs today because you can fast-track into a new profession in a matter of months!

Interested students may find comprehensive massage programs in nearby vocational and technical colleges. Many vocational and technical schools teach the practical and theoretical skills of the healing art of massage therapy; there are even online courses in massage. Regardless of the venue, all massage therapy schools are geared to present information on the advanced skills used by professional massage therapists.

Most massage schools will present several approaches to massage therapy, and all massage studies include anatomy and physiology. Massage studies sometimes touch upon other, more advanced forms of natural healing, such as acupuncture or chiropractic. Many schools even include some aspects of psychology in their massage programs, which can be helpful for working with and providing services to clients.

Other subjects may include all or some theories of practice in the art of massage, kinesiology, hygiene, pathology, and first aid. Students may be able to specialize in certain types of massage, such as Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Thai, or medical massage therapies that treat patients for recovery from physical injury, such as clinical, sports, chair, and deep tissue massage. Students are able to learn massage techniques while they practice on clients under the supervision of experienced instructors.

Upon completion of the massage course, graduates can request licensure evaluations and examinations by state and national organizations. The Department of Health in the state of practice or your choice of schools can provide information about requirements, state rules, and regulations for practicing massage therapy.

If you would like to find out more about Massage Studies and Massage Schools, or even Online Massage Therapy Schools, we invite you to search our website and find the right massage course for you.

How To Find A Bank That Can Take Care Of Your Credit Needs

Deciding the best bank will involve some contrast shopping. Online resources are the simplest way to contrast shop. You will perhaps make your choice based on services and fees. When contrasting banks, everything that matters is what’s essential to you.

Keep in mind that after you open your account, your rate will continue to change from day to day.

Convenience: How close is the closest branch? How long are the lines when you visit? Is the bank open when you necessitate them, or do they open late and close early as many banks do?

FDIC relationship: Are they a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation? If so, your deposits will be insured up to $100,000. So no risks taken.

Volume: Is the bank big or small? Some people feel more relaxed with a bigger bank, while others think small banks can suggest better client service. It depends on wish.

How Women Violate Men, 7 Stunning Secrets

There is a lot of talk about how crude men can be who violate women, but how about devilish women who abuse men?

Certainly neither men, nor women should be demonized. It is never wise to categorize any gender or people group as a whole. Nevertheless experience does show at least some consistencies of how women rub men the wrong way.

Here are 7 Stunning Secrets as to how females annoy, abuse, intrude, and violate men.

1. Women can be loud and irritating.

When a woman gets angry, even if it’s not with her man, she fiercely vocalizes her displeasure. Men are emotionally wired differently and internalize it as if she’s lashing out at him. If he’s in the same room with you when you’re venting, don’t think he’s not feeling the emotional heat and neurologically sensing you’re an explosive and volatile individual.

Ladies beware of yelling about someone or something when your man is in the room. He may mistakenly feel and believe you’re mad at him, which afterward will cause him to withdraw and remove himself from the line of fire.

Men like women who are elegant, carry themselves well, practice self-control, and speak graciously.

2. Women tend to gossip and drone on about trivial things.

It may be entertaining and enjoyable for ladies to talk about female things, which often border on gossip. Men however aren’t interested in hearing all the dirt about somebody. Guys want to get the job done, pay their bills, and have some fun.

Don’t burden men with your trivial and petty things. Guys don’t want a girl who’s world is so easily shaken by such miniscule matters.

3. Women easily revert to purporting, acting, and drama to get their way.

This is a subtle manipulation method learned by girls throughout childhood. Their loud screeches often got the little princesses precisely what they wanted whenever they were little girls. Is it any wonder as women they easily and subconsciously revert back to a temper tantrum to wear a man down?

The less drama the better for guys ladies. Please don’t be a drama queen. Be a blessing to your man, not an emotional drain and burden. Your man shouldn’t dread coming home to you after a long day at work.

4. Women can sometimes incessantly nag to wear a man down.

Nagging is not loving ladies. Men don’t like to be nagged anymore than you do. Nagging will deeply cause a man to resent, if not eventually hate you. Nobody wants to be bombarded with bickering, ridiculing remarks, and downgrading comments. Men have already come through the boyhood stage and evolved into men. They don’t need you to mother them. Nurturing is nice, but nagging is hellish and immediately despised.

Don’t take your personal frustration and inner issues out on your man ladies. Get your own life in order and practice self-control beginning with your speech. From the overflow of the heart comes the words of the mouth. Most often we project on to others what we ultimately feel about ourselves. Take a personal inventory and get a check up from the neck up, before you verbally throw up on your man. Replace criticism with compliments and praise. As you do, your man will endeavor to live up to the praises you lavish on him.

5. Women can become controlling.

Men don’t want to be controlled. Frankly nobody does. What you did to get your man, you must continue to do to keep him. Demanding and controlling women weary their men and drive them away. After a long hard day at the office, a man wants to come home and chill out.

If you’ve asked your man to do something, let him do so without you lording yourself over him. Allow your man to maintain his own individuality, dress as he pleases, communicate in his own style, and be comfortable in his own skin.

Your man needs privacy as much as he needs intimacy. Kindly give him some space when necessary so he can rest and recooperate from life’s daily challenges.

6. Women are masterful at playing the damsel in distress.

Women are clever at playing confused and helpless to get a man’s help. Sometimes it is nothing more than lazyness and working the sexes. Women know men are hormonally challenged, attentive, and alert as to any opportunity to befriend a lady. Many ladies have no interest at all, but simply want to use guys to get some help moving furniture, fix their car, or do their homework.

Chivalry and being a gentleman is perfectly acceptable. Yet when a women doesn’t reciprocate and shows herself unthankful after the fact and distances herself from the guy, that is not cool.

It is no surprise women at bars work guys for free drinks than disappear. I even knew one young lady who admitted to using guys she had no interest in whatsoever to get a nice dinner whenever they asked her out.

7. Money and materialism is another thing women are hated for.

When a woman uses a man to pay her bills, get her out of debt, and buy her nice things she can quickly be hated by him. Men will do a lot for a lady they like, but sincerity and a genuine heart (or the lack thereof) will eventually show. Any true man won’t want to be with a woman who doesn’t want to be with him. If he stops paying for and buying extravagant things, her true motivation will soon be tested and revealed. Sadly many women up and leave when the goodies are gone.

Men want a tender hearted and trustworthy woman, not a material girl. Fair weather friends are many, faithful and loyal people are few. It is a woman who possess inward character that a man will marry and say, “I do” to.

Ladies don’t take for granted and violate the men in your life. Familiarity breeds contempt. Than what when your man has gone and went? Show him some respect now while you have him, lest you weep when you lose him.

Enhance Your Eyes With Eye Powder Using Wet Dry Techniques

The eye powder you choose can make or break your facial appearance. With many gorgeous colors that define who you are and the look you’re trying to create, eye powder is one of the most important make-up applications you’ll make.

Whether your goal is to dazzle your friends at a party, dress up for a model portfolio, or romanticize your eyes for a date, your choices of eye powder will make the difference.

Two Types of Eye Powder Applications

There are basically two ways you can apply your eye powder - wet or dry. With a wet application, you can use the eye powder as your main eye shadow and create a somewhat “shiny” look that attracts attention to the eyes immediately. The eye powder will have a shimmering appearance that glistens under the lights. You can even blend several colors of eye powders to get the look and feel you want.

To apply “wet” eye powder, use a wet/dry application brush. Dip the brush in water and then dip it into the desired eye powder. Always, dip into the darker shade first and then blend with lighter shades to reach desired color. Apply the eye powder and blend it with a different wet or dry brush to get the look you want.

Using dry eye powder also enables you to enhance your eye shadow with unique colors. First apply your normal eye shadow. Then apply a lighter shade of eye powder over it to blend colors and enhance your eye make-up. You can use like colors for a more conventional look or contrasting eye powder colors for the “shock” affect!

To try other looks with your eye powder, experiment with different size brushes, sponges and foam pads, or cloths. There are also cream-based eye shadows. Use what works best for you. If your eyes are very sensitive and tend to get watery or break out in a rash, try hypoallergenic eye powder.

Complement Your Eye Powder

Once you find the eye powder that best suits you, complement it with eyeliner and mascara. Also, test various colors of lipstick and lip liner to complete your make-up. Use glitter dusts to highlight certain areas of your eyes.

Choose colors that work for you. What looks great on your friend might look terrible when you try it. Eye powder colors should be compared with your skin tone, skin moisture level, hair color, the shape of your face, and eye color. Coordinate your best colors with your outfit.

Using wet/dry techniques to get the eye powder look you want is easy. Practice a little at home and try out some new colors before your next big event. Your eyes will shine like the stars!

Another Photography Profit Center… Decor Art

With scenics, a major thrust is to make viewers “wish they were there.” Choose a view or subject you would like to look at 365 days a year. If you don’t like the view or subject, chances are your customers won’t either. Keep in mind that most buyers of Decor Art enjoy pictures of pleasant subjects because they find in your pictures an ‘escape’ from the routine of everyday chores. That’s why for this purpose it’s important to take your scenics without people in them. Your viewers would like to imagine themselves strolling through the meadow or along the beach. They consider recognizable ‘people’ in your picture as an intrusion of their own quietude and privacy. In addition, if people are included in Decor Art pictures, this can ‘date’ the picture due to the style of clothes, hairstyle, etc.

Nature close-ups are always a sure-seller. They rarely become out-dated: dandelion seeds, insects, birds, leaves, etc.

Art Decor buyers tend to buy easily recognizable subjects. For example, an antique windmill would consistently sell better than a modern wind generator. Keep your Art Decor simplified by isolating your subjects. (Feature only one at a time…rather than a group of something.)

Animals are always a popular subject — usually wild ones; but also pets, domestic animals, dogs, cats, and horses.

Dramatic Landscapes are good bets, in all seasons, and especially with approaching storm clouds, complete with lightning.

Another area of Photo Decor that is growing: abstracts. Abstracts
are finding favor for use in waiting rooms, attorneys’ offices, professional buildings — as well as homes.

Sports scenes lend themselves to game rooms and family playrooms; portraits (exotic or interesting faces) to legal suites; erotic subjects to private clubs; industrial scenes to manufacturing company offices.
It goes without saying — your pictures should be well composed, visually exciting, and of high technical quality.

SOME POINTERS: Prices depend on whether you sell by volume, individually, or large format, to corporate clients. At art fairs, individual buyers will pay about $45 (11×14) and $30 (8×10). Before you decide on your own price, see what local department stores are getting.

Limited editions of prints are another issue. You can demand a higher fee. And, of course, if you keep a couple such prints for the grandchildren, your grandchildren just might become heirs to a very valuable print. What to charge for limited editions? Keep the professional artist in mind who once said, “If you are going to price your watercolor at $15, you’ll find a $15 buyer. If you price it at $75 dollars, you’ll find a $75 buyer. And if you price it at $850 — you’ll find a $850 buyer. Just takes time.” Current going rate for a 16×20 (color) decor photograph is between $75 and $150. PRINTLETTER (Zurich) lists international going rates as reported by galleries. Some samples: Eugene Smith: $750; Ben Shahn: $1500; George Silk: $1500; Aaron Siskin: $1200; Howard Sochurek: $950. Nice tidy sums?

B&W or Color? B&W prints sell well as Decor Art, and particularly so if they are sepia toned. Color, however, has the edge over B&W. Shoot in transparencies rather than negative–for these three reasons:

1) You can project them effectively when you are demonstrating your subjects to a potential client;

2.) Processing lab technology can handle transparencies cheaper and more accurately than negs;

3.) As a stock photographer you’ll also want to market your color through regular publishing channels –and most publishing markets require high-resolution digital images or transparencies.

Size - If you sell your prints on a single sales basis, you’ll find the larger print (16×20) with higher fees will result in more year-end profit than trying to market larger numbers of the smaller prints (11×14 or 8×10) with the lower fees. On the other hand, if you go to multiple sales with smaller prints, and aim for the volume market in high traffic areas such as art and craft fairs or shopping malls, you will be equally successful with the smaller-sized prints.

Production. Resin-coated papers make B&W production on your own, very easy. Color production is usually best accomplished by a lab such as www.reedphoto.com. . Shop around. In New York, for example, an 11×14 costs $46 and a 16×20, $95. Quality is superb and the delivery is one day.

Frames. Framing or matting your prints definitely enhances appearance and saleability. Dry mounting materials and hinge mats are available everywhere. And finally, try making frames on your own. How-to series are often featured in photo and hobby and craft magazines. Consult the web for ideas and sources.

Promotion is the key to your selling success. If you’ve sold a series of prints to one bank in town, let the other banks know about your Decor Art. Work for ways and places to exhibit your pictures often. Offer your services as a guest speaker or local TV talk show guest. Produce a website displaying your work; sell prints on e-Bay, produce brochures, flyers, or catalogs of your work.

Government agencies often buy groups of Decor Art. Check out the “Art for Buildings” program in your state.

Unleash Your Creativity - How Finding The Right Creative Environment Can Help You Be More Creative

When looking for tips and techniques to help you unleash your creativity and become as creative as you know deep down you can be, there are many options available.

What usually happens is we’ll take a handful and try them all at the same time. The amount of different factors and variables means we can’t get any accurate measure of which techniques are working and which aren’t, so more often than not we give up on ALL of them.

Or sometimes even we don’t get this far. We’re so overwhelmed by all the possible options we could take, we suffer from information overload and ended up choosing none of them.

So here is a one effective technique you can use to help you be more creative.

Read through the technique as described below, then try it out for yourself. After a few days or weeks, review how it’s improved your creativity, make any small adjustments you think you might need and see what happens next.

It’s only by experimenting like this, finding what works and what doesn’t, then doing more of the things that increase our creativity and less of those that hinder it, that we evolve.

Finding the right creative environment can help you be more creative.

If we try to create, and give ourselves fully to the creative process, when all around is chaotic, noisy and distracting, we’re not likely to produce much creative work that we’re happy with or that highlights our creative potential.

We’re simply not giving ourselves a fair chance. Creating can be difficult enough with all our internal chatter and distractions, without adding more outside and around us.

So it follows that if we take ourselves to places more peaceful, and with fewer distractions, we’ll be able to increase our creativity in both quality and quantity.

There are two main types of creative environment that can help us:

1. A creative environment that is calm and tranquil. Whether this is a room in the house where you won’t be disturbed, a meadow in the countryside, or a quiet corner of a library, the main advantage here is the peacefulness.

Without the chaos and noise of our daily lives we can listen to ourselves better, focus more clearly and create what matters at our own pace and in our own unique way.

2. A creative environment that is stimulating and inspiring. This might be a bustling local cafe, a favourite art gallery or a hill with a stunning lakeside view. This kind of creative environment is somewhere we feel energised, motivated and inspired to create.

Away from our familiar routine and everyday surroundings, we can allow our creativity to unravel and be encouraged by all the stimulation to our senses around us.

Creating in the right environment is one way you can increase your creativity.

Remember, we’re all unique creative individuals. There is no universal “right environment” that suits everyone. What you may find exciting and stimulating, someone else might find too hectic and distracting, and vice versa.

So, to unleash your creativity to best effect, experiment by creating in different places at different times, and see what works for you.

Increase Your Affiliate Revenue With Weight Loss Affiliate Programs

Any affiliate marketer with a site related to weight loss knows this niche to be very profitable, and with high commissioned affiliate programs. Never the less, if you are attracting visitors looking for ways to loose weight, you can probably find yet another affiliate program promoting a type of product you are not yet advertising on your site.

Over the last decades the problem with over weight and obesity has grown, and so has the interest for alternative ways to loose weight. On most search engines, queries for terms related to weight loss and diet are always many, but after the holidays and before the summer - and swimsuit season - these search terms multiply in numbers.

This has lead to a similar explosion in the number of websites about diet and weight loss, many of which are using affiliate marketing as an easy way of reaching new customers. The reason they do this, instead of SEO, is the wide area of search terms used to find information regarding diet and weight loss and similar topics. Most large websites are using at least some SEO, but affiliate marketing is growing in popularity as well because it’s simple and often fairly cheap.

With very little research you should be able to find at least one affiliate program promoting virtually anything you can imagine. If you have a site about diets, why not find an affiliate program offering home delivery on groceries, thus presenting your visitors a way to actually buy all ingredients in your recipes. Similarly, if you have a website promoting any popular method of loosing weight - i.e. the GI-method, Cambridge model or similar - you could easily find e-books - or regular books - covering the method of choice. Often the affiliate commission on e-books is unusually high due to the low cost of making them.

Larger sites, covering many aspects of health and/or weight loss, are often using contextual advertising, when joining a few affiliate programs would give them the opportunity to advertise highly targeted text links or banner advertising. The reason is often lack of time. The project of finding the right affiliate program, joining them and getting the product links seem more complex than it really is. All affiliate program software are designed with the end user in mind, most of the time they are successful in that area, its easier than one would think to manage it.

For the larger sites, finding an affiliate program with several products may seem like the best way to go, but its not rare different programs are converting better on other products. Every webmaster needs to decide for him self what time to put into finding the best affiliate programs possible, sometimes the time is better spent on improving your website.

One easy thing to do, to add relevant pages to your weight loss site, is to find recipes for healthy diet meals. Most article databases have plenty of free recipes for diet - or any other - food. This is both a free and easy way to add interesting content and - more important - space for banner advertising. While reading or printing the recipe, your visitors have all the time in the world to click a banner and hopefully explore and purchase something.

One thing is for certain, if you are attracting traffic in this fierce competition, be sure not to let it go to easily. Find well targeted affiliate programs, add more interesting content to your site and you should be able to increase your affiliate revenue.

Solving The Credit Card Versus Debit Card Debate

Credit cards have, over the course of several decades, become the preferred method of payment for individuals across the Untied States and even the entire world because they are easy to use, convenient, relatively simple to obtain, and they can allow for purchases that would otherwise be unfordable. In most cases, credit cards are beneficial and a true asset to the economy. The most common problems of credit cards are that people charge much more than they can afford, and become severely in debt.

A alternative for individuals who either have bad credit or who do not want to own the responsibility that comes along with a credit card are prepaid charge cards or debit cards. The basic concept behind a prepaid charge card is that it does not allow a person to spend money they do not have, while still providing the convenience of the small, rectangular piece of plastic that is so much more convenient than cash. Debit cards may or may not have fees associated with them, and the terms and conditions associated with debit cards will vary depending on a person’s bank. Often, banks offer good deals on debit cards if a person agrees to have his or her regular payroll check directly deposited into their checking or savings account on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.

So how do you select between using credit cards and debit cards?

You would start out by comparing the fees each type of card charges.

Then compare the security that both cards offer by finding out the answers to the following questions:

What happens if I want to file a charge back?
What if my credit card is stolen?
What if my credit card is used by a non authorized person?
What is my liability limit for fraudulent purchases?

Once you have the answers you will also want to consider the reward programs that the
cards offer.
