Don’t Rollover That 401(k) Just Yet

With the onslaught of impending baby boomer retirements, advice regarding distributions from employer-sponsored retirement plans abound. While it is generally good advice to roll-over qualified employer retirement plan assets to an IRA, that may not be good advise for anyone whose 401(k) plan contains employer stock with “net unrealized appreciation (NUA).”

NUA is the difference between the stock’s current market value and average cost of the stock in the plan.

If this stock is transferred from an employer-sponsored plan to an IRA, the transfer is tax free, but any subsequent distributions from the IRA are taxable as ordinary income.

If, on the other hand, a transfer is made to a regular brokerage account, only the cost basis of the stock is immediately subject to income taxation. The remaining value, or NUA, is subject to long-term capital gains treatment.

For example, let’s say Peter is 55 and taking early retirement from his company. He has $750,000 in his 401(k) plan, of which $350,000 consists of his company’s stock. The company stock has a cost basis of $50,000 and the remainder of the stock value ($300,000) is appreciation or NUA.

Peter’s first option is to roll the entire $750,000 into an IRA, let it grow tax-deferred and, then, start taking required minimum distributions at age 70½. The distributions from the IRA would be fully taxable as ordinary income.

Peter’s second option is to keep the company stock ($350,000) in his 401(k) and roll-over the rest of his 401(k) money ($400,000) into an IRA. Peter could then transfer the company stock ($350,000) from his 401(k) plan into a regular brokerage account. This triggers ordinary income taxes on his cost basis for the company stock ($50,000), but the remaining $300,000 isn’t taxed until he sells it.

If he sells the company stock immediately after transferring it to a brokerage account, the $300,000 will be taxed as a long-term capital gain even though it hasn’t been held in the brokerage account for a year.

If Peter does hold the company stock in the brokerage account for more than one year, then both the $300,000 and any further appreciation will be taxed as long-term capital gains.

Because Peter’s company stock was transferred to a brokerage account rather than an IRA, the minimum distribution requirements for IRAs don’t apply.

Finally, let’s look at what happens if Peter dies before selling the stock in his brokerage account.

If Peter had rolled his entire 401(k) into an IRA, then his heirs would pay ordinary income taxes on any distributions they received. But, by splitting the 401(k) into both an IRA and a regular brokerage account, something quite different happens.

The IRA portion gets taxed as ordinary income under the normal distribution rules.

The stock in the regular brokerage account is treated differently. First, Peter’s heirs will pay a long-term capital gains tax on the appreciated value of the company stock ($300,000), which is what Peter would have paid if he had sold the company stock during his lifetime. Any further appreciation in the value of the company stock from the date Peter transfers it to the brokerage account until Peter’s death gets a step-up in basis for tax purposes, so Peter’s heirs will not pay any tax (ordinary income or capital gains) on that appreciation.

Lower Interst Rates Will Not Solve The Housing Debacle

The bear trap has sprung.

John Q. Homeowner seemed unaware that his foot was in the bear trap and that he willingly put it there. Lured on by promises of 1% financing and no money down millions of folks who lusted after owning their own home signed papers without a thought to the future.

Real estate agents and mortgage brokers enhanced their dreams by allowing hundreds of thousands of buyers to falsify mortgage applications. The fireman, policeman, school teacher or any category you might wish to name were fudging their gross pay. All parties to the transaction knew it.

The lure of no or little down payment and a mini-monthly payment (for a while) was too great. The fine print has suddenly jumped into bold and payment amounts will double and triple. That $400/month payment has jumped to $1,200 and the home buyer knows he can’t make it.

What to do?

The bank or mortgage company does not want the house. Sometimes they will accept a lower payment, but many will not. The mortgage maker has stockholders and they want to see a return on their investment. Too bad for the home owner. He is evicted under a foreclosure.

Will lowering of interest rates by the Federal Reserve solve this problem?

No.

Why?

The banking system funded by Wall Street which allowed the low, low down payments and looked the other way on “truth in lending” for applications are now the very ones who insist that all applications be verified. No more hanky panky.

That 1% mortgage may be refinanced at 5, 6, 7% or more, but the owner must now tell the truth. When he tells the truth he will not be able to qualify for a new mortgage so…….foreclosure. Lowering interest rates will not solve anything because there are not enough people who can qualify under the truthful rules.

Joe Sixpack who makes $50,000/year will not qualify for that 3 bedroom, 2 car garage brick house when refinancing is required.

Currently there are more than 2 million vacant homes in the US not counting condos. Because of the millions of mortgages due to be refinanced this year that number could easily double or triple. The reason is more than 20% of all mortgages made during the past 2 years were sub prime and to date 12% are in the foreclosure process.

The Fed will continue to print money out of thin air, but the banks under the tighter regulations will refuse to lend. This credit contraction which will ultimately cause a severe setback in the stock market. When the dominos begin to fall it could easily be a comparison to the decline of 2000. That took 3 years to bottom. There is no way to know how long this might last.

We have not seen the worst of this scenario. Lower interest rates are not the solution.

Karron’s Law - How To Think About Your Audience BEFORE You “Think About Your Audience”

They say you learn from your mistakes. But sometimes you learn from what you did right. You shake your head and you wonder what happened. And sometimes you can figure it out.

Like the time a tiny little girl taught me a great big lesson about making a story-or a play, or a movie, or even an essay-come to life.

Thirty-some-odd years ago, I sat in a bedroom at my grandparents’ house with a tape recorder. Out in the living room, three or four generations of my father’s family were enjoying themselves at the top of their lungs (Sanders parties are seldom quiet). From time to time a cousin or an uncle or aunt would come through the door to tell my sister the latest gossip, and to let her know they missed her.

It was the first Christmas my sister Diane had to spend away from home. My father had decided to tape-record the family parties for her. And as the only “artsy” Sanders (they’ve often wondered about me…), I had appointed myself emcee and narrator. So far I’d done pretty well, if I do say so myself. But now the bedroom door opened and my final exam slipped in.

Karron may have been the youngest of the grandchildren just then. She was certainly in the running for “shyest child in family history”. But here she was, of her own free will, approaching the recorder as if it were a dragon that MIGHT be friendly. All ready to wish her cousin merry Christmas. And who was I to argue?

So I pressed “Play” and “Record” together. And-of course-she looked at the microphone, and looked at me, and closed her mouth tight.

It was the cutest case of mike-fright I ever saw. But the situation didn’t call for “cute mike fright.” And yet I’ve never cared much for the “What do you say, Karron? Karron said ‘hi’! Isn’t that cute?” method for getting around the problem.

So I tried to draw her out. And it ended up sounding something like this:

ME—And here’s Karron. Did you want to tell Diane something?
KARRON–(silence)
ME—She can’t hear a smile.
KARRON–(giggles)
ME—That’s better. So. What do you want to say to her?
KARRON–(long pause, then)-I…LOVE…H-I-I-M-M-M! (frantic giggles and running footsteps, fading into the distance)

—–

When Dad had started taping, the kids were ready to grab their presents. I’d started my career as Tape Tyrant by insisting that we open them one at a time, and tell everybody (including Diane) what we’d gotten. I’d pretty much done it without thinking. And it had worked.

And now here was Karron, showing me why.

I got my share of presents that year, but this little story is the only thing I managed to keep. The story and the lesson.

Think about your audience.

Everybody says that, of course-know who your audience is, and what they want, and how they talk and think and feel. Speak their language, give them what they need.

But after you’ve thought about all that–or maybe before–think about them another way. Read-or watch-or listen to-your work the way they will.

Curl up on your sofa with the book in your hand.

Sit just below the projector.

Or row twenty-five, stage left.

Or lean back in your comfy chair, your hand resting next to the “play” button you just pressed. Your eyes closed. Listening.

—–

Let’s stick with that last example for a moment-I’ve done a fair bit of radio drama. Our hero has ridden up to a cliff overlooking a lovely river valley. You can hear the horse nicker, the wind in the pines, the distant sound of running water.

What do you see?

Nothing.

—–

Let’s go back to the movie theater. The hero is staring across a valley, his brow furrowed, his mind full of dark thoughts.

What are they?

You don’t know.

—–

All right, let’s watch the play. The heroine watches the hero stare out over the valley.

She turns away and bites her lip. There! Did you see it?

Not from the back row, you didn’t.

—–

Pick up the book. The book they adapted to make the movie. And the play. And the radio show. He’s still looking out over that valley.

What does it look like, exactly?

You’ll have to guess. Unless they included a photo.

—–

And getting back to that party-what would Diane have heard?

Ripping sounds. Laughter. Shouts and squeals. Maybe an occasional “Thanks, Uncle Billy” or the like. And no clue what most of it meant.

Not acceptable. And if I’d just told her what was happening we might as well have written a letter. The trick was to tell her enough that the sounds she heard could tell her the rest.

If we’d had a video camera my job would have been very different. Not harder or easier–different.

Every medium is strong. Every medium is weak. Use the strengths. Work around the weaknesses. And to find those strengths, those weaknesses, take your place beside your audience. See what they see, hear what they hear, know what they know.

Or don’t know.

And with every line of dialog, every paragraph of description, every stage direction or camera angle, remember the difference between what you see and what they see.

They can’t follow a car chase on a dinner theater stage.

They can’t read a movie character’s mind.

They can’t describe every leaf on that tree in Chapter Six.

And they can’t hear a smile.

Karron’s Law. Thanks, cousin.

A Brief History Of Lollipops

It’s unclear exactly which company, or even which country invented the first lollipops, but it’s certain that different variations of this popular treat existed in many places. Evidence has proved that even as early as ancient Egypt, people crystallized nuts and fruits in honey and placed them on sticks for easy access. In Europe during the Middle Ages, sugar was imported and therefore an expensive luxury item that few could afford, so candy was made into a hard block and given only to the nobility on ornate handles. It became a more prevalent item that many can afford at around the 17th century during the time of Charles Dickens, and that’s where many concluded the name derived from. The Racine Confectionary Machine Company invented the first automated lollipop production machine in 1908, and the idea hit off immediately.

One of the most popular lollipops around are the Dum Dum Lollipops. It was named by a man named I.C. Bahr and part of the famous Spangler Candy Company. The lollipops are famous for its 9 or 10 regular flavors and 1 or 2 “special” flavors that are cycled in and out. Kids also love to pick out a “mystery flavor” which are mixed in with other labeled ones in a bag and test their luck. These lollipops can be found everywhere among people of all ages, but they are especially popular among small children and often given as encouragements at school or home.

Another popular brand of lollipops are the Jolly Rancher Lollipops. The Jolly Rancher Company was created by Bill and Dorothy Harmsen in Colorado in 1949, and the company originally concentrated on making hard candy. However, their candy was so loved by everyone that they decided to combine that and the idea of lollipops together. Therefore, the Jolly Rancher Lollipops were created and introduced 50 years later in 1999, and they have been a successful part of the business ever since. The shape of these are square shaped, unlike most other round or oval shaped lollipops, and they come in flavors of Apple, Grape, Cherry, and Watermelon. These lollipops seem to be more popular among older high school crowds because of its intense fruit flavors.
It certainly looks like everyone loves a good lollipop, especially with all the brands and flavors out in the market. The idea is such a hit because of the cheap prices and fun way people created to eat them. However, if you’re one of the few that doesn’t love to unwrap one in your free time, definitely get your hands on Hershey’s Factory Favorites - Bite Size Assortment. With the huge selection that the Hershey’s Company puts out, you’re bound to get attached to one of them.

What Are Surgery Options For Osteoarthritis Of The Knee

Conservative approaches to osteoarthritis of the knee include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, good quality forms of glucosamine and chondroitin, physical therapy, corticosteroid injections, viscosupplementation (injections of lubricant into the knee), and bracing.

For people who do not respond to these measures, there are more aggressive approaches available. The first is arthroscopy. This is a procedure where small telescope is inserted into the knee. Using specialized cutting instruments, damaged and diseased tissue is removed and flushed out of the knee. For many patients this affords relief.

If the arthritis damage is limited to one side of the knee, an osteotomy (removal of a wedge of bone to help the bones of the knee line up better) can be a very good option. This procedure is best done in patients under the age of 60 who are active and who do not have severe inflammatory changes. The only disadvantage is that because bone is removed, it may make subsequent knee replacement surgery more difficult because there is less bone to anchor the replacement in.

Resurfacing is a procedure where a thin layer of the femur (upper leg bone) and a thin layer of the tibia (lower leg bone) are removed. A layer of metal is applied to the femur and a layer of plastic is applied to the tibia. Sometimes the back of the patella (kneecap) is also resurfaced. This type of procedure is good for people who only have a moderate amount of damage and who have relatively good bone stock.

A relatively new procedure is paste grafting. Here, a hole is drilled in an area of arthritis to expose bleeding tissue. A paste consisting of crushed up bone and cartilage cells is then placed in the hole and the patient is not allowed to bear any weight on the repaired knee for several months. The paste is supposed to promote regeneration of cartilage. Preliminary data is encouraging.

Cartilage plug grafting is a procedure used when there is a single localized defect in the cartilage of the femur. A plug of cartilage is removed from the intercondylar notch of the knee (a non weight-bearing area). The plug is then placed into the cartilage defect in the femur. While this is good for localized defects, it is not useful for large defects due to osteoarthritis.

Autologous cartilage implantation is a procedure where a plug of cartilage is removed from the intercondylar notch of the knee (a non weight-bearing area). The plug is then used to provide cartilage cells which are grown in a laboratory. The patient then undergoes a second surgery where the cartilage defect in the weight-bearing part of the knee is carefully debrided (cleaned), then a patch is placed over this defect and cartilage cells grown from the first harvesting procedure are injected underneath the patch. Cartilage cells then grow over a period of several months. This procedure is good only for isolated cartilage defects and not for generalized osteoarthritis of the knee. Patients must not bear any weight on the leg for at least six months.

Synthetic cartilage plugs can also be inserted. The plug is made of synthetic biodegradable material that permits the patient’s own cartilage cells to grow within the defect. This procedure is best used for younger patients (50 or younger) who have a localized defect. It takes several months for the plug to take hold.

Patients who have a damaged meniscus (cartilage cushion) due to arthritis can have a replacement meniscus donated from a cadaver source. These grafts can last about 4-5 years. The one danger is that the body may reject them.

Total knee replacement is a procedure where the end of the femur and the end of the tibia are removed and replaced with appliances consisting of metal capped with ceramic or plastic. Knee replacements last 12-15 years. A revision of this replacement may be required if the knee replacement is older than 15 years. Recent data indicates that a an exercise program instituted before surgery greatly enhances the chance of success.

There’s No Place Like Home To Start A Women Owned Business

Women are taking control of their financial destinies and careers by starting and running their own business. Women owned business opportunities are often of the work-at-home type due to several reasons.

When you work from home, there is usually little start-up costs involved in getting your business going. You already have a living accommodation that can double as your office, so you save from paying office rental.

There’s the freedom to set your own work schedule. No more having a boss telling you what, when and how to do your work. You don’t need to travel in bad weather or being stucked in a traffic jam.

You don’t have to pay childcare costs or travel expenses such as gas and automobile maintenance. Many women in business are deciding to work from home so that they can spend more time with their children and family.

Potential Setbacks

Due to the fact that you have the flexibility to set your own schedule, it can be very tempting not follow it at times. You may become distracted and lose track of time. This will put you behind in your work and set the stage for stress and aggravation. Other distractions, such as the television, radio or telephone can interfere with your ability to maintain a schedule and get your work completed on time.

There may be household distractions such as the dishes that need to be washed or the floor that needs to be mopped and this is why it is important to prioritize. You can be distracted by friends dropping by unannounced to hang out because they don’t understand that even though you are at home, you still have a business to run.

Overcoming setbacks

You must cultivate a strong commitment and self-discipline when running a women home based business. Set your hours that you are going to work and stay as close to your schedule as possible. With a small child you can expect to have some unplanned interruptions so allow extra time for your projects to account for this. When the workday has ended, spend some quality time with your family even though you still have unfinished work.

Don’t overload yourself with work. Once in a while you may receive a big project that will take extra time, but keep this to a minimum. You don’t want to do this on a regular basis where you are constantly struggling to keep up. Remember to take breaks. It is easy to get so wrapped up in a project that the day is gone before you realize it. You can get really burned out this way. Divide up your workday with breaks by going for a walk, having lunch outside or have a special time set aside where you play a short game with your child.

Be sure to keep in contact with others. Networking is an essential part of running a successful business. The rapid rise growth in women owned businesses is due to women placing more emphasis in building a business relationship, thus increasing customer loyalty and referrals.

Online opportunities are now more abundant than ever for women entrepreneurs wanting to start their own home-based business, since all that is needed is a computer with an internet connection. At http://www.ehome-basedbusiness.com, we cater to women who are seeking business opportunities. We cover 6 areas of starting a women owned business and provide match-up opportunities.

Depression, Indifference And Health

Since we don’t truly know how to define craziness, we say and believe that depression is a serious disease. However, indifference is also a very serious disease; perhaps even more so than depression in this violent world, where hypocrisy conceals selfishness and ignores terror.

We try to cure a depressed person who lives in a man made hell; depressed at the way they live, lacking even the most basic conditions for the development of a healthy and balanced life. However, we believe that those who search for pleasure, indifferent to the horrors of our world, are so called “normal” and “logical” persons. No one believes that we should force an indifferent person to cry before a horrifically tragic scene, just like no one believes that a person needs psychotherapy just because they don’t care for the starving people in their own respective neighbourhood(s).

We do, however, believe that people:

–who work like slaves all week,

–who sleep but a few hours per day,

–who don’t have enough money to pay their bills,

–who live in the crazy hustle and bustle of modern city life,

–who are poorly treated and despised in their environment,

–who have infinite family and social problems that don’t have any hope to be ever solved,

–who live under pressure and unbearable conditions with fear and constant anxiety, should not, collectively or individually feel depressed!

We believe that those fortunate enough to live a better life - alienated from what goes on in the rest of the world, “have no reason” to feel depressed; though they live in the same hell of misery, governed by immorality and evil as everyone else.

How can we expect to achieve psychical health in a place like Earth? We live here searching for happiness, while everything is wrong and everyone is crazy. We know that this world is absurd. Unfortunately, most of us believe that we cannot change it and we try to live our own lives as best we can, ignoring the daily horrors we know exist.

The solution has to come from our comprehension and recognition. We need to understand how foolish we are, and that we can never expect to be happy and live peacefully by continuing to live this way. We need to learn how to do things perfectly, not in a hurry, nor only for money. We have to respect our moral principles and to have pity on our enemies, to avoid provoking a war in our own environment. Our attitude must change to allow us to understand that we each have an obligation to do something to correct the mistakes that exist in the way our world functions.

On my arduous path, searching for psychical health through the decoding of dreams and helping many people with the knowledge thus acquired, my conclusion is that only religion can offer the answers we need to have the courage to live and build a better world. Religious psychotherapy is, in my view, the safest and best form of psychotherapy! We can find it freely anywhere, even though it seems to be so despised by our materialistic world!

If someone doesn’t believe in God, then this person requires psychotherapy through the decoding of dreams. I’m writing an ebook through which I intend to teach my readers how they can easily interpret their dreams, following the method discovered by Carl Jung. Everyone will discover a real doctor on the unconscious side of our psychical sphere; the side that tries to save our human conscience through messages in our dreams.

This is a safe and guaranteed solution for everyone, but it takes time and much effort. If you believe in God, and your problems need an urgent solution, you can find it through your faith, right now.

Do what Jesus did; follow Buddha’s example; be like Confucius, and you’ll never become crazy in your life! You’ll find a way to change this world, even though you are a seemingly simple and insignificant human being.

Teach your children to respect religious moral principles, as you yourself respect them. Teach them through your own example, and your children will be spared a suicide attempt, because they respect you. At least, they will have piety in their hearts. Righteousness is the best medicine against hate. If you have pity on your enemies, you won’t hurt them. But who in this world cares more about the religious education of their children than their careers and material success in life?

We make many mistakes because we don’t know what to do. We should do what we know to be good; having religious values and content, remotely distanced from selfishness.

Depression and indifference are diseases observed through our behaviour, like vanity and cruelty. If we want to achieve psychical health, we need to learn to be sensitive. Only in this way can we be balanced. We have to care for other people’s suffering; not just our own!

During my studies, I came across Carl Jung’s method of deciphering dreams, which helped me and urged me to continue his research into the unknown regions of our psychical sphere. I set my poetry aside and began to compile my findings. I sought to prove that Jung had discovered the proper method of interpretation of dreams. This exercise actually taught me many things, and I continued to pursue Jung’s research into the analysis of dreams. Learn more at http://www.booksirecommend.com/

My Favorite Miracle Foods - Lose Weight, Look Amazing, And Shed Pounds Like Magic

Show me a diet high in flavonoids, polyphenols, and EFAs, and I’ll show you a woman with silky, shiny hair, glowing skin, and not a speck of cellulite on her body. Ok, obviously you have to live a fairly healthy life all around to attain hair, skin, and body perfection, but these nutrients will definitely help you get there.

Flavonoids and Polyphenols

Powerful antioxidants that protect cells from free radicals and can actually reduce existing cellular damage, these awesome nutrients are amazingly effective at fighting cellulite.

Two fabulous sources of of both nutrients are apples and cranberries. Apples are easy enough-we’re talking raw apples, preferably organic. All varieties are great. Eat them. Lots of them.

Cranberries: The Surprisingly Effective Cellulite Fighter

As for cranberries, you need to be a little more specific. You can’t just go get the Ocean Spray cranberry juice off the shelf at the grocery store and assume you’re getting the good stuff. Most packaged cranberry juices are loaded with sugar, which totally counteracts the effects of natural cranberry juice. Besides sugar is truly the worst thing you can eat if you’re trying to melt away cellulite. And those low-end brands are mostly grape juice, anyway, with a tiny bit of cranberry juice added. To get the full benefit, you need to real stuff.

So you need to look for all-natural, sugar-free, 100 percent cranberry juice.

I buy a brand called Mountain Sun Pure Cranberry Juice in the organic section of my grocery store. But if you can’t find it, you can always make your own cranberry juice by boiling fresh, whole cranberries in a little water and straining out the berries themselves.

My only caveat is that pure cranberry juice is some incredibly tart stuff. It’s not very easy to drink. What I do is water it down-literally. I add about a quarter cup of cranberry juice to a full glass of water, and drink up. The water cuts the tartness, and it’s really quite refreshing. I’ll also often add a lemon wedge, which ends up being quite delicious.

Who Gets Rich? Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, The Reverend Michael Beckswith Thats Who

I feel sick and I think that Bob, Jack and Michael should be ashamed of themselves. This has nothing to do with SOGR, this plan is based on GREED. They have created a package that at best could be worth $60 and on the back of a wave of euphoria are getting many people who cannot afford it, to part with their money,in the hope of earning a fortune. Read their slick advertising] A few paragraphs on SOGR and then pages and pages on the compensation plan.
Wally would be turning in his grave.

Wally says be creative in earning your money NOT competitive. He is correct Bob, Jack and the Reverend have created a way to play on the masses belief that you can get rich quick, and will all earn an extraordinary amount of money. Those three will of course become exceedingly rich.
Wally also says there is never any rush! I have never witnessed such a panic of people rushing to purchase this product so they can get to sell it to someone before there friends get to them. The sad thing is that it is not now about purchasing, or studying SOGR, it is about getting a product of very little actual value, only a perceived value, that you can earn commissions on. People who are not in the slightest bit interested in SOGR will have a currency to trade to unsuspecting people.
I really do feel quite sad, that the method and ways of SOGR that have brought my success, were of a calm, gentle, no rush, it will happen style and now it has all turned into a circus fuelled only by GREED.

Do you really think that these three men have any interest in who gets hurt in all this? If it is not stopped by someone, when it reaches critical mass, how many people will have lost their money with absolutely no opportunity to get it back. If the persons purchase is genuinely about learning SOGR, why would they give $1995 for something they can get for nothing, and how different could it be, it is only based on the same book?

I have had to put up with a lot of flack from people thinking that in some perverse way I am jealous. Let me tell you, I could not sleep at night, if I had to get money in the knowledge that it would cause misery and hardship to many people.
I notice that the main site is down at the moment, to update details. I wonder if they may make this a tripod with two legs and 10 levels of compensation. Think how many people they could destroy then. I notice that the makers and the producers of the Secret have put a disclaimer on the website, saying that they have no connection with this.

I would really like Rebeccas take on all this, because I get a funny feeling that this could put the nail in the coffin as regards to any credibility for SOGR.
Please all re read SOGR, it is a calm precise infallable method of obtaining happiness and wealth and in no way resembles the circus that these three men have created.
All the people out there who are saying SHUT UP I feel sorry for you because whether you buy this product or not, you will see so much hurt and heartache as a result of this, it will make some of the internet scams look tame. Before you all rush to defend it, I have not said this is a scam. It possibly just creeps into legality
but that does not make it morally right.People will defend it because they believe that it is the holy grail, and will be the way to riches.

Quote from Wally!
The more people who get rich on the competitive plane, the worse for others. The more people who get rich on the creative plane, the better for others.
I ask you is this creative, or competitive?
I will keep on attacking this until it stops, and I suggest that anyone who cares for this book as much as I do, does the same.
I really cannot imagine how we will be able to teach this beautiful message in the future once this devious plot has run its course.

Life’s Great Moments

How are you capturing your
treasured moments in time?

Do you take lots of photos?
Maybe you have a journal or
keep a calendar.

Have you thought about joining
the craze that is sweeping the
country?

What is it? Scrapbooking.

Yes, Scrapbooking has become
one of the most popular hobbies
in the country.

Not only is it a fun hobby, but
a terrific way of keeping those
treasured moments organized in
a spectacular presentation.

And, when it comes to creating a
gift for a special occasion what
could possibly be more personal
than a themed scrapbook for that
someone special?

Scrapbooking isn’t your Grandma’s
old-fashioned album. We’ve come
a long way and learning the do’s
and dont’s of the craft does
require a little expertise.

Not to worry, everything you
need to know is available in
one clearly written presentation.

Great time and care was taken
to make sure we compiled a
guide that would cater to each
person’s specific need.

We understand that there are
those who have been scrapbooking
for years and those who have
just started scrapbooking.

This guide is perfect for your
own personal use. It is also
great as a gift to someone you
know and care about.

Take your time, read through
the book and let your imagination
take you on a journey.

Scrapbooking - Life’s Great
Moments is the ultimate guide
to scrapbooking for the novice
as well as the experienced
scrapbooker.
