List Building to Promote your Product I

If you understand the right way to do it, you can use list building to promote your product and increase your sales. A list of email addresses is very important to the success of your online business, and you should do whatever is needed to build it up.

There are a few ways to achieve this, so let’s have a look at the more common. A squeeze page is a page that is specifically designed to capture email addresses. It makes the visitor an offer that he would feel stupid to pass up. It can be designed to provide more information or a specific topic in exchange for the email address, or to provide a few free gifts as an inducement to sign the opt-in form.

There are some rules to be followed for the ideal squeeze page, such as designing a compelling header and persuading the prospect that you can offer them something that will provide the solution they are looking for, and that if they only provide their first name and email address you will email them with the information they require. However squeeze pages are not the only way to get email addresses.

Another way to do this is to have an opt-in form on page of your site, in the same place each time. This works on the principle that a visitor has to be exposed to something up to seven or eight times before making a decision. If you expose your visitor to an opt-in page on every page on your site you have a very good chance of earning the address. It should be placed where it is seen: top right is usually the best place.

List Building to Promote your Product II

You can also build your list from an email campaign. Only not your email campaign, but a joint partner’s. You can enter into a joint venture even if you have no list yourself. You can offer somebody a commission for promoting your product to their list. This is similar to affiliate selling, only the commission is selectively offered to internet marketers with large lists who believe that your product could sell and provide them with a good commission.

Visitors to the joint partner’s site are led first to your squeeze page where you get the address in exchange for a further link that leads the prospect to the product at a ‘discount’ price that includes so many free gifts that complement the product you are selling. In this way you can build your list from the lists of other people who are also gaining through commissions on the sales of your product.

It’s fine to offer a newsletter in exchange for an email address, but you are more likely to get the opt-in if you provide an example. Provide a clickable link to your most recent newsletter or email so that your prospect can see that what they are getting is worth the exchange of their email address. Make sure that what you let them see is typical or they might unsubscribe immediately if the real thing does not match the promise of the sample.

You will also improve your chances of the sign-up if you provide a link to your privacy statement. Privacy and security are becoming increasingly important to people and many will need the assurance of a privacy statement.

Little Secrets To Avoid Acne

Irritating, stressing, annoying, embarrassing, etc… That is how it feels having acne.
We are all searching for that “perfect” skin care to cure our acne problem.
Here are some easy steps and secrets that will help you reduced your acne problems.

If you have an oily skin, astringents will work for you but do not use too much on your face. Get a small piece of cotton or you can just use your index finger and put just a little drops of astringent and just apply it on the oily surface of your skin. Again just apply it on the oily surface of your skin.

Now how often do you wash your skin? 3 times? 4 times? Dermatologists suggest that you have to limit this for only twice, take note, twice a day. When you wash your skin you have to do it gently, remember we are doing skin care so you have to do it with “care” and make sure not to use strong soap. Now here is a little secret, when you rinse your face make sure that all of the soap is washed away because unwashed soap will block or go into your skin pores and it will create more acne for you. Another tip, when you dry your face do not wipe the towel on your face, again, do not wipe the towel on your face, just tap it nicely, softly, wiping the towel might irritate your skin, and sometimes when your towel is dirty it might add up more germs on to your skin, so that is a little secret for you.

Now here is the most important thing. I know how uncomfortable we get when we see a huge pimple on our face specially if its very recognizable. Sometimes we tend to look at the mirror and get so stressed about it that we just want to pop is out! Now that is a big no no! Not only that it hurts so much, it will leave a scar on your face and it will leave a permanent black spot. So never squeeze or pop those blemishes.

Here is a little secret that will definitely help you also, when every time you go to bed even though that we washed our face, our pillowcases will still carry germs, dirt, dust, etc… So make sure at least once a week that you change your pillowcases to avoid getting germs while you are sleeping. This tip will help you alot in the long run.

Yes, doing this needs alot of discipline and it will not happen in just one blink of an eye. Patience, discipline and alot of caring on your part to achieve a flawless and acne free skin.

List Building to Promote your Product III

An exit pop-up has been proven to be effective in capturing email addresses. Exit pop-ups are more effective then entrance pop-ups that frequently annoy and have the opposite effect to what you want. However, you can experiment with pop-ups to find the best type for you. There are many different types from the normal standard pop-up to those that float in and the sticky type that stay there even when you scroll up or down.

There are some rules that I have found effective in helping to secure the email address. First, request only a first name and not a full name. People think you are being less obtrusive. Also don’t ask them to ‘register’, and certainly not to ’subscribe’ with the connotation of payment. The most effective way is to offer information or a free gift, and request the first name and email address so that you can send the information or gift to them. Be sure to use a double opt-in system, so that you cannot be accused of spamming.

Double opt-in is where the prospect is sent an email requesting a click to confirm the opt-in. Once this is provided the information requested, or free gift, is provided to them and their registration is confirmed by your autoresponder.

There are more methods available of capturing email addresses but these are the most common. If you use these methods of list building to promote your product then you should quickly find a steady supply of email addresses being added to your list.

How To Recover Lost or Deleted Data Files: Data Recovery Software Information

Have you heard of data/file recovery? The definition of the term Data Recovery is “..Making previously lost or damaged data available again..” A data recovery software or method can help us recover destroyed data e.g. an accidentally deleted file. It happens all the time. You delete an important file on your PC and send it to your recycle bin by mistake. You realize what you’ve done only after you’ve cleaned the contents of the recycle bin.

What do you do now?
That file you deleted was so important. Fortunately there are lots of methods (Data Recovery Methods) and software (Data Recovery Software) available to help you get your lost files back.

Let’s start by mentioning some possible reasons for the loss of data:

* You accidentally delete an important file. Then you immediately shred the contents of your recycle bin

* During today’s system crash some files just disappeared and cannot be located or accessed

* You format your hard drive but then you remember those important .zip files previously stored in the newly formatted empty medium.

* A power outage prevented some files from being written to the hard disk.

* Data loss can also occur due to physical damage of the storage media. For example the surface of your CD-ROM may be scratched off or your hard disk may suffer from all kinds of possible mechanical failures.

..and the list goes on.

Is Data Recovery Important?
Data recovery is a very misunderstood concept. A lot of people may not even be aware of the existence and the importance of data recovery. Maybe they think of it on a personal level. The truth is, lost data causes financial disasters to companies all over the world. The cost associated with computer downtime and lost data is enormous (several million dollars) for businesses.

How to deal with data loss?
Losing files is easy but recovering them can be difficult. If the loss was due to physical damage then you need someone with experience, a hardware technician or something. It wouldn’t be wise to try to overcome hardware failures alone unless you are a professional.

Now, if the loss of data was due to logical failure or human error then the solution is data recovery software. The data recovery software should be able to:

- Undelete files even after you’ve shred the contents of your recycle bin

- Recover files after you’ve been infected from a malicious threat (trojan, worm or other virus)

- Recover files from reformatted hard disks or after your system crashes or your hard disk fails

- Recover all types of files (all kinds of documents, images, music, videos, email messages, zipped files etc)

- Recover data from all types of storage mediums (hard disks, external drives, CD-ROM, usb drives, floppy disks etc)

- Recover files easily and successfully. Should be user-friendly allowing someone with no data recovery skills to use it

- Take/create backups of critical system files or files you choose

The best way to avoid data loss is to start taking backups of your important storage mediums. Either create backups of data on CD-ROMS or use an external drive or zip drive to back up your critical files. If you want to go further look for software that automates the process of backing up and storing your data. These programs are kind of “set and forget”. You set it up to take backups every hour or every day or month etc. and let the software do the rest.

Now you know it’s possible to restore almost every type of lost or deleted file, it’s time to learn how to do it. How about this highly recommended href="http://www.digitalstarproducts.com/star/-detail-61.html">Data Recovery Software that will restore all your lost data quickly and easily? How Professional Service Providers Can Break Through Resistance to Requesting Referrals

One of the most powerful strategic marketing tools is referrals. Are you resisting the opportunity to request referrals? If you answered YES you are resisting, why are you resisting? In doing some research on this subject I learned that many, if not most, professional services providers resist because of fear.

Yes, I said fear. What is meant by fear as it relates to this subject? Here is what I have learned and observed. The professional services providers are afraid they will: offend and therefore harm their relationship with a client; fail and not cultivate any new business; be perceived as a “salesman” or a “saleswoman” instead of as a professional; and be placed in a totally awkward and uncomfortable position with their clients.

Strategic marketing principles and experience show that your best source of new business comes from your existing clients. So, if you ignore this fact and permit fear of asking for referrals from your clients, you will be missing a tremendous opportunity. So, what can you do to break through and overcome this resistance? Your strategic thinking business coach has eight (8) suggested “break through” strategies for you to consider.

1. Make a commitment to developing and implementing a strategic marketing referral plan.

2. Learn how to ask for referrals. Seek advice and training from a professional, such as a business coach.

3. Rehearse your ask” with clients that are not on you “A” list of clients. This may reduce your perceived risk of your “ask.” Build up your confidence and enthusiasm with these clients and then move up to your “A” list.

4. Focus on earning personal introductions from your clients. Select the clients that will confirm that they find value in you and your professional services.

5. Identify your ideal referrer. One who is very excited about you and your professional services and is very supportive of what you are doing. These people should help lower your resistance since they are the people who tell you they will “do anything for you.”

6. Make it easy for clients to refer you to others and show your appreciation for their referrals by always thanking them.
or her favorite musician; a special photo of a favorite place or person; or something that is uniquely interesting to the person.

7.-Send a thank you without conditions or expectations of getting something in return.

8. -Commit to always expressing thanks and doing it sincerely.

What is the Best Work From Home Job?

What is the best work from home job of them all? I get asked this question all the time, alongside the obligatory, is it actually possible to make money from home? type of questions that people always ask.

Well unfortunately sunbathing or reading do not get paid so my favourite pastimes are not in the running for the best work from home job of them all. How about lounging by the pool? No I am dreaming and missing the actual point of working from home, freedom and motivation it gives you if you actually stay away from the pool and put the hours in to make it work.

Ok, so the best work from home job? Affiliate marketing would have to be up in the top 2 or 3, Adsense income would be a close contender, product creation is harder but builds a nice portfolio, network marketing is a hassle, article marketing ties into affiliate marketing. I would have to say the best work from home job is any that makes you consistent money!

Seriously, there is no better feeling that working from the comfort of your own home, without the commute, without the boss. Whether it makes you rich or whether it just pays the bills, either is a big step up from being in the corporate grinder from day to day. There are so many opportunities out there, most of them are scams, but it hard to choose even from the genuine opportunities. The best work from home job for you is whatever you take a liking to, dip you toes into a few opportunities (not committing much capital of course!) and see which you like best.

For me then affiliate marketing interested me the most, and article marketing and pay per click out of the possible traffic generation methods. Creating products just does not interest me, SEO does not interest me, co-registration scares me, you get the picture… As soon as you find something you like doing, then do it as much as you can until you get a stable income ready to leave your ‘normal’ job and work from home. There is something out there for everybody who is willing to put some effort in.

So if you follow my advice you should end up with the best work from home job in the world, one you work on because you want to, not because you have to.

Lumineers

Porcelain veneers are very thin, tooth-shaped shells which are bonded strongly and permanently to the front surface of the teeth being treated. They can even be an alternative to wearing braces for a year or two to straighten your teeth. If the teeth are not too severely out of alignment, porcelain veneers can permanently and pleasingly cover the slight misalignment in just a couple of visits.

What is porcelain?

Dental porcelain is a glass-like substance which closely resembles tooth enamel in several ways:

·-It can be matched to the shade of your natural teeth

·-When bonded to the tooth’s surface, porcelain veneers become a part of that tooth and provides a very strong and durable surface·-It absorbs and reflects light the same way that our tooth enamel does. It’s translucent, so that light enters the porcelain and bounces back off the bonding layer beneath it. This is similar to the way light enters natural tooth enamel and bounces back off the dentin layer beneath it. In both cases, the result is that pearly white sheen which makes for a beautiful smile.

Advantages of Lumineers®

1.-Lumineers® are made from a patented type of porcelain known as Cerinate®. This is an exceptionally strong porcelain, which means that Lumineers® can be made extremely thin. They can be as thin as 0.2 mm, like a contact lens. A traditional porcelain veneer is about 0.5 mm.

2.-Because Lumineers® are so thin, the tooth does not have to be scuffed or shaved down to make room for them. Nor are any anesthetic shots necessary for affixing them to the tooth.

Lumineers® are made by the Den-Mat corporation in California, a company founded in 1974 by a dentist who was dissatisfied with the dental materials then available. Dr. William Cohen at Glenview Dental Excellence in Glenview, Illinois, has also been an innovator, seeking out new training, new techniques, and new dental products throughout his 25 years of dental practice. He has given stunning smiles to many models and media personalities and is an enthusiastic supporter of Lumineers®.

“I recommend Lumineers® to anybody who’d like to have porcelain veneers,” he said, relaxing in the comfortable massage chair he provides for his patients. “With good care, they’ll last for your lifetime, and remember too that porcelain is highly stain-resistant.”

Dr. Cohen provides the full array of cosmetic dentistry for the Chicago, Illinois area, even offering spa dentistry with every comfort, and sedation for those who feel extra anxious about visiting a dentist. His friendly personality matches the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere of his dental offices.

Can a Landlord go on Vacation? Yes

You heard a lot of reasons why not to be an active landlord when you first got into real estate investing. One of them was this: you’d never be able to take a vacation again.

Maybe now it’s been five years since you bought your first property, and you really haven’t taken a vacation in all that time. Those travel brochures look pretty inviting. Or maybe there’s an investors convention or cruise where you could relax and get new ideas about our industry.

The truth is that you can get away for a weekend or even a week, as long as you prepare ahead of time. The preparation is no different than what any other professional needs to do. Simply put, you must make sure that everyone who depends on you knows you are going away; that you have backup people in place to take care of any problems that arise while you’re gone; that you can be reached in case of an absolute, drop-dead emergency; and that you don’t have any specific project that requires your presence scheduled for the same days as your trip.

My longest ever trip was two weeks to China in January of 2005. For 14 days, I’d be literally on the other side of the world, in a country where my cell phone wouldn’t work and email would be occasional at best. I began preparing for the trip two months in advance.

Find a trusted friend

My first job was to find a friend or relative who could take on the property management while I was away. He had to meet five criteria. First, he had to be someone I utterly trusted. I could not take a chance on someone who might misbehave and cause damage to my reputation. Second, he had to be a reliable person in all respects. Third, it had to be convenient for him to take on this additional responsibility. Fourth, he had to be at least as handy as I was (not asking a lot). Fifth, he had to be willing to do it.

Remember that there is a difference between trustworthiness and reliability. My stand-in property manager would have access to the business checkbook. A trustworthy person wouldn’t take off with the money in the account. A reliable person wouldn’t leave the checkbook where somebody else could take it.

My choice for my stand-in was my brother in law Will. I asked him with more than a month remaining before the trip so that if he couldn’t or wouldn’t do it, I would have time to find somebody else. Fortunately, he agreed. We also discussed compensation at that time. It’s important to resolve this question ahead of time. I didn’t want Will to do it as a pure favor, even if he would be willing to do so. We decided on a flat fee for the two weeks and an additional fee for any visit he had to make to the properties.

If your trusted friend refuses money, you need to find some other way to show your appreciation for the big favor he’s doing. Give his family a terrific thank-you present or make a donation to charity in his name.

Let everyone know what you’re doing

My second job was to let all of my important contacts - which included all of my tenants and regular contractors and utilities - know when I would be away. I wanted their routines to stay the same as much as possible, so I told them about Will, and that he would have my cell phone and email address. I asked the tenants as a favor to not bother Will with small complaints, but to leave those for me to resolve when I returned. And I took care of any current complaints before I left. I similarly cleared up any outstanding issues or unpaid bills with my contractors and utilities and made sure they had nothing scheduled for when I was away. I made sure the utilities, in particular, knew that any bills that came in while I was gone would not be paid until I returned.

Put together your “travel kit”

My last step before the trip, done as close to my departure date as possible, was to make sure Will had everything he needed while I was gone. I gave him a package including:

  • A complete set of keys for all properties, including apartment keys.
  • Keys and information on any post office boxes I use.
  • Enough blank, signed checks so that he could pay any bills which must be paid on the spot; for example, for emergency repairs.
  • A list of all of my tenants including their addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
  • A list of all my preferred contractors and their contact information.
  • My cell phone, with charger.
  • My email account address and password.
  • My personal rules for contact by tenants; how often I check email and when I turn my cell phone on and off.
  • A check to pay for his services.

Finally, I took him around the properties and pointed out trouble spots. We also discussed some of the procedures that might come up (for example, how to bleed air from hot water lines).

One thing to add to this list would be the rules that tenants must obey. That way, your trusted friend will know if someone’s doing something he shouldn’t. However, you don’t want your friend to have to be the enforcer. Just have him note the issues and let you know about them for later.

During and after your trip

Going to China, I really did not know when I’d be able to call back to the US or go on the Internet. Fortunately, this is a pretty rare situation. Most places where you might go on vacation, you’ll be able to connect semi-regularly. It’s clearly better to call than to email, since you can get answers right away.

Obviously there’s not much you can if you are thousands of miles away and a serious situation develops. But you might be able to give your friend some advice to help him resolve the problem, or at least make him feel better. And if the problem involves a specific complaint from a tenant, contact the tenant and let him know what you will be doing. Obviously such a problem demands your immediate attention when you get back.

When you do return home, meet your trusted friend as soon as possible to get your “travel kit” back and pay him any money he is still owed. And thank him profusely, of course. Then follow up on any situations that arose while you were away as soon as possible.

Defining Your Ideal Client: How to Work for Only the People Who are Your Target Audience

More than half of all new businesses fail within the first few years. I believe that this is due in part to the fact that these businesses never seek out their target audience and ideal clients. If you try to serve everyone you most likely will end up serving no one, so it is better to find a niche that you can market to directly. By marketing exclusively to these ideal clients you will end up with more work than you could ever have dreamed of getting.

I have a client who runs a handyman business. He works alone and does excellent work at a fair price. When I first began to work with him he told me that he could help anybody so everyone was his target audience. He was getting work but he was driving over three hours a day and having difficulty with many of the jobs he did. We sat down together and talked about his work. I asked him to tell me about some of the jobs he had done recently. He told me about a job that he had recently done installing tile flooring in a bathroom of a condominium that was on the second floor. It had been difficult to park inside of the complex and impossible to get his tile cutting machine upstairs so he spent many hours over a two day period going up and down the stairs to cut each tile. After some discussion he agreed that it was not in the best interest of his business to work in condominium or apartment complexes or to do tile work upstairs. He then told me about some work he had done for some very nice people about 40 miles from his home. They had been very accommodating with their time, purchased all of the materials in advance, and paid promptly when the work was complete that day. It took him over an hour to get home because there was so much traffic in the area where he lives. He told me a third story about a woman who lived alone and needed odd jobs done at her house from time to time. She lived about 5 miles from him and needed someone who could work on Saturday or in the evenings, which he was glad to do.

After working with this handyman we came up with his ideal client: It is a woman living alone in a home that she owns, or a couple where the man is unable or unwilling to do needed work around the home. They earn more than $50,000 per year and make repairs and upgrades on a regular basis. They live no more than 10-15 miles from his home. They live in a home that is at least five years old.The handyman told me that he did not believe that he could get enough work from this group of people alone and that he didn’t know how to reach them. I showed him a simple marketing plan, both online and offline, that he could use to target only this group of people. After just two months he has almost doubled his income and is happier about his work. He only works for people who fall into his target audience and are ideal clients. He now turns down work from everyone else, allowing him to focus only on the customers that meet his criteria.

Defining you ideal client and target audience works. It will enable you to maximize your time and efforts for greater profits and a better working experience.
