Einstein, God and Relativity

It is widely known that Einstein, while meditating, talked to God. It is also known that energy can not be created or destroyed. So whatever we talk, the sound waves of the conversation will stay on this earth. It is only a matter of catching them to hear the conversation again. A few years back, scientists tried just that- catch what Einstein talked to God.

They succeeded in catching bits of his talk with God. He was heard asking God to forgive him for the atom bomb. He was heard talking to God about his Special Theory of Relativity. Einstein was heard, “So God, I told the world what relativity is. I now know how things work.” “Well done son,” God said, “But why are you sad?” “Because nobody understands the theory; they think I am a fool,” was Einstein’s reply. “Don’t worry, child. Tell me what it is. I will understand,” God said.

So Einstein began explaining to God what relativity is. That there is no preferred inertial frame, that all are equal, motion between two frames is relative- you can call any one at rest and the other in motion. He gave God all the formulas, all the derivations. After three hours of explaining, he asked, “So God, now do you understand?”

God said, “Child, you are very technical. That is why nobody is understanding the theory. Can you tell me in layman terms what is relativity? So that everybody understands it?” Einstein was completely blank. He said, “God, I don’t know how to explain it in simple terms. I can give the formula but can’t explain it.” God said, “You are right, my child. For after all, it may be you who formulated relativity, but I created it!”

Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by HSV (herpes simplex viruses). HSV type 2 (HSV-1) is the usual cause of genital herpes. Although, in some cases HSV type 1 (HSV-2) is also found responsible for this disease. Usually HSV-2 is responsible for oral herpes (herpes sores on the lips and in the mouth).

Many people have heard about the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). But very few people know what causes it. There are several kinds of herpes strains. We will talk about the Genital herpes in this article.

Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (HSV2) is also known as genital herpes because it affects the genital area. Common areas of infection are the cervix, labia, vagina, inner thighs, and anus of female and the shaft of the penis, scrotum, inner thighs and anus for men. As per the recent research approximately 86 million people worldwide are affected by this disease. The main cause of transmission of genital herpes is through sexual contact.

Getting Diagnosed

Think you have genital herpes? See your doctor for testing and treatment right away. Doctors can diagnose genital herpes by looking at visible sores or by taking a sample from the sore for testing in a lab. Blood tests can also be done to detect HSV-1 or HSV-2.Follow your doctor’s advice and finish all the medicine that you are given. It is very important to finish all the medicine even if the symptoms go away.

If you are not affected with genital herpes then abstinence from sex is the surest way to avoid getting genital herpes. The next way is to limit sex to one uninfected partner who only has sex with you. If you have a partner with genital herpes, do not have sex - even with a condom - when he or she is affected with an outbreak.

Cure and Precautions

Unfortunately there is no cure for this disease; the virus will always be in the infected body. Certain drugs such as acyclovir, valacyclovir, and famciclovir can decrease the outbreaks, or stop them from happening. Your doctor can give you proper advice/medicine to cure the outbreaks and stop them from affecting you in future.

Always follow the following steps to stop frequent outcomes of the virus and to stop the transmission to another person.

1. Do not touch the sores with hands or with a cloth, in severe conditions one can use cotton, which can be thrown after use.

2. Wash hands after contact.

3. Clean the infected area and keep it dry.

4. Avoid sexual contact until the herpes are healed.

5. Avoid having any sexual activity while you have any symptoms of an outbreak. Be sure to tell your sexual partners, so they can also be tested. Genital herpes is a life long virus, which cannot be cured, get advice from your doctor in order to prevent the outbreak to happen and to prevent spreading of disease to any other person.

During an outbreak, there are different ways to relieve pain.

- Take warm bath. After bathing, carefully dry affected areas gently with cotton.

- Wear loose cotton clothes.

- Keep the area dry.

- Hold ice packs to the sores a few minutes, several times.

- Take aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen or doctors prescribed medicine to relieve pain and fever.

It is very important for a pregnant woman that the outbreak of the herpes should be treated before giving birth. If the mother is affected by genital herpes while she is pregnant, she is more likely to pass the virus to her baby. If the outbreak is not the first one, the baby’s risk of getting the virus is very low. Babies born with herpes may be premature or may die, or they may have brain damage, severe rashes, or eye problems. Doctors may do a C-section to deliver a baby if the mother has herpes lesions near the birth canal to help prevent passing the virus. Also, acyclovir can help babies born with herpes if they are treated right away. It is not yet known if all genital herpes drugs are safe for pregnant women to take. Herpes is spread through contact with sores and can be dangerous to a newborn while breast-feeding if the sores are on sores on your nipple or areola. Breast-feeding should be stopped until the sores are healed.

Are you going to be buried under debts? Do you want to bury your debts instead of being buried yourself under it?

If your answers to these questions are ‘yes’ then you should better consolidate your debts with a loan to make it easily manageable. It is not like that your debts will come to an end then and there. In fact, there is no such method that can provide you with this facility. It is different if you come by some sudden money and pay off the debts. Otherwise, all the other methods can simply put you on the process of repaying your debts. Then what will debt consolidation loans do for you?

Well, by consolidating your debts with loans, you can do away with the worries of unmanageable debts. It makes your debts easy to deal with by cutting the repayment instalments to a smaller size. So, you can clear the repayments conveniently. While you pay the monthly repayments regularly, you do not require paying penalties or late fees. So, you get the scope of saving some money which used to go down the drain.

Debt consolidation loans also make room for bringing down the interest rate. If you owe money on different credit cards and loans, it is obvious that you are paying different interest rates for them. Some of the credit products may have exorbitant rate of interest. By consolidating them into a loan, you can get rid of the extraordinarily high interest rate.

Despite lowering your interest rate, debt consolidation loans stretch out the repayment term of your debts. This fact paves the way for smaller monthly instalments which is mentioned above. Extension of the repayment term may make you bear the burden of debts for a long time. But it definitely will bring an end to your debts in the long run. At the end of the loan term you will be completely debt-free.

Choosing The Correct Air Conditioning Equipment

I have a question for you about air conditioning equipment. Have you ever considered how long you are exposed to a hot summer and a cold winter over the course of a lifetime?

Well lets say you lived to 80 years of age. Simple math would indicate that you have been through about 80 summers and 80 winters. So what am I saying. Well if you look at it another way, you have been uncomfortably exposed to the fickle nature of our environment.

So does the thought of having an air conditioner whether it be a central system or the ever popular wall mounted split system make you feel as if life is better, even a little bit. Realizing that you will be spending nearly 50% that’s half of your existence on this planet in discomfort may make you appreciate that there is something man made that can ease the burden, namely, air conditioning equipment suited to your normal abode and vehicle.

Lets not forget heating shall we.

May I make you aware of another interesting fact. Reverse cycle air conditioning is the most energy efficient form of heating there is, other than the exception of having vast tracts of land where there are ample supplies of wood to burn, there is no better way of warming your home than reverse cycle air conditioning. Especially the inverter type of system which simply means the appliance uses a variable speed compressor in conjunction with variable speed indoor and outdoor fan motors. Confused? No need, there are many experienced mechanics and engineers out there who can either show you or just put their name on paper to guarantee a residential HVAC ( heating ventilating and air conditioning ) unit that will do the job.

Now you have decided that your life will be much better when you install your brand new heating cooling and ventilation equipment…

Where do you start?

Firstly, you need to do some homework. Look around for a reputable company. You want to find someone who will have your interests as their number one priority. Some businesses are dictated to by the manufacturers who supply the machine to them and give them higher discounts as well as holidays and gifts for increased turnover. A company who is looking after you will always give multiple options for you to consider, and these do not always have the lowest price tag. In the air conditioning industry you do pay for what you get.

So to reflect on what you have learned so far.

Consider the environment and look seriously at the reverse cycle systems.

The locally produced product is not necessarily the best.

The inverter type machine has superior capabilities especially for heating.

Choose your contractor carefully.

In HVAC you pay for what you get, low price = low quality.

What, Who is A Mother?

Is she the one who brings us into this world? Or is she the one who cares for us, feeds us, looks after us and loves us like no other? Many would get baffled at the perplexity and the apparent simplicity of this question.

To me, a mother is not just the one who brings us into this world. A mother who gives birth, and then leaves the child on the road to die; will you call her a mother? In contrast, a woman who has not given birth to that child (on the road) but takes her home and treats the child as if he were her own, is she not a mother? And, in fact, a better mother than the mother who originally gave birth to that child?

We celebrate Mothers’ Day. Why? For we rejoice and acknowledge their contribution to the society and mankind as a whole. I bow to all mothers in this world. I celebrate the spirit of motherhood. The power God has placed in the hands of a woman is incredible; the power to reproduce, the power to give birth to life. Without which, mankind would cease to exist. Admit it, men. You are because of women. It is only a woman who can give birth, you only ‘help’. So respect women.

The first teacher of a child is his mother alone. She is the one who inculcates the values the child lives with for his life. She is the one who takes the finger and teaches us to walk. She is the impersonation of God on this earth. Let us salute the mother in every woman.

Mother, we love you. For whoever you are, whatever you are.

Do I Know Anything? I Don’t Know

I don’t know if I was born. I don’t know where I was born. I don’t know for whom I was born. I don’t know the purpose of my birth. I don’t know who I am. I don’t know what I am. I don’t know where I am. I don’t know my name. I don’t know my mother. I don’t know my father. I don’t know if I have any brothers or sisters. I don’t know about my cousins.

I don’t know if I am alive. I don’t know why I was made to go to school. I don’t know why I studied once there. I don’t know why I joined college. I don’t know physics. I don’t know chemistry. I don’t know mathematics. I don’t know the alphabet even. I don’t know to write. I don’t know to read. I don’t know why I loved a girl. I don’t know why I married. I don’t know why I did not marry the girl I loved. I don’t know who my kids are. I don’t know where my kids are. I don’t know how old they are.

I don’t know why I love. I don’t know why I like. I don’t know why I feel so happy. I don’t know why I feel so sad. I don’t know why do I feel at all? I don’t know why there are so few persons with whom I feel I can be the real me. I don’t know why there are so few persons who have access to my innermost feelings. I don’t know why I hurt them so much. I don’t know why they understand me so much. I don’t know why they don’t hate me. I don’t know why they like me. I don’t know why I’m writing this. I don’t know if these can be counted as the world’s best keyword optimized paragraphs. I don’t know if ‘I don’t know’ counts as a keyword. I don’t know. I don’t know why I don’t know…

A striking off-road course made of 1,000 tons of dirt and 20 tons of gravel plus the presence of Toyota trucks invite no less than action pact driving adventure. Toyota will also make the test drive free of charge and get lots of excited enthusiasts.

The Toyota Motor Corp. is glad to announce that its Trucks Off Road On Site Adventure is back by popular demand. The adventure brought by Toyota will be visiting a dozen cities throughout the United States to give attendees the opportunity to test drive Toyota trucks that include the 4×4 Tundra, Tacoma and the FJ Cruiser.

“Tour Gives Attendees the Opportunity to Experience the Hills and Thrills of a Full-Line of Toyota 4X4 Vehicles.” The amazing off-road adventure will begin at the 2007 Nashville International Auto Show at the Nashville Convention Center on April 6.

The off-road adventure program was launched by the automaker last year and it became an instant success. The automaker has recorded over 25,000 attendees who took test drives and experienced Toyota adventure first-hand. Behind the successful program is a simple philosophy: let auto show attendees get behind the wheel and discover Toyota quality and performance on their own in a fun, no-pressure environment.

For this year’s Toyota truck adventure, the automaker has significantly improved its test track. It will be featuring obstacles such as moguls, sand pits, logs, and berms. There is also a hill climb, teeter totter, wood bridge, and frame twister. Toyota’s main course accommodates all the three models but the anticipated stunner is the famous FJ Cruiser, which is known for its incredible off-road performance.

The track is also redesigned to coincide with the introduction of the new generation Tundra. The move is resorted to stress the rugged capabilities of the redesigned truck. In the said event, participants could enjoy a thrilling and high-performance ride and the efficiency of EBC pads. According to analysts, there is a good deal in tugging along the new Tundra to the auto market. It will promise thrilling excitement to win over non-Toyota enthusiasts.

The participants must be 18 years old or older and have a current driver’s license. Toyota said minors are allowed to attend the program with a parent or legal guardian, and children can ride as passengers if they are at least 4′ 9″ or 57 inches tall or over 8 years old. Children eight years and older who are not 57 inches tall may ride with proof of age like the birth certificate or passport. The LP Field will be available to all attendees. It will be absolutely for free.

Friends - The Elixir of Life

The right friends can make a world of difference to you. And I have one friend who comes closest to be the quintessential friend.. I withold the name.. This person has for the past 61 days made my life worth living.. I have given the person some sorrows, and I have given the person joys… in the same vein he has given me some moments where I cried bitterly, but he has also given me moments where I have cried with joy.. Today my friend gave me another of those moments where I can’t stop tears of joy running down my cheeks..

Finally, after many days, I talked to my friend without fighting.. not that I had not talked to my friend for sometime- I ring my friend up daily; it is that we talked very sweetly today.. Our relationship is a little wierd.. we just seem to always fight and then make up.. but it must be said to the credit of my friend that he always makes me feel humbled with his generosity of emotions.. notice the word “he”, you perverts… my friend is not a she as you may be thinking for this long.. How should I begin telling about my friend..! A person so very good natured, his voice so very invigorating..ah!

What is Self? Who am I? My Identity

Who am I? Am I what my parents named me? Or am I what I am doing ” am I my profession? Am I a student? Am I a doctor? Am I a shopkeeper?

Can I say that I am my body? Yes, why not! My voice comes from my mouth which is essentially a part of my body. So I may safely say that I am my body. But that is not the case. What is causing that voice? When I die, the body is still there, without me inside it. Where did I go? Then, the body was not me. I am not the body; I am something else. I am not the five senses ” touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing. I am not the brain.

Am I my soul? Am I that unseen being present within the body? No, for there exists a secondary voice within me. Then who or what am I? There can be only one answer. I am consciousness. I am awareness, the nature of which is existence. Existence is truth. What exists in truth is I or self - Atman. This world, our own soul, God, all these are mere manifestations of it. Self is God, God is self. Shivoham. I am Shiva. Shiva is me.

Realization of I- The Self

The ‘I’ in us is the mind. Mind originates in the heart, where ‘I’ originates. Realization of the self requires understanding of the mind. Mind is a luminous power resting within the self. Thoughts ” that is mind. Mind is nothing but thoughts. Consequently, thoughts are the nature of the mind. Now, apart from thoughts, there is no such thing as world. When we sleep, we dream. Dreams are nothing but a flow of thoughts. There exists a world in dreams. Deep sleep is devoid of thoughts. Accordingly, it is devoid of a world. When we quiet the mind, the world, taken as real, will disappear and self will emerge.

Quiescence of the Mind

Mind must be calmed to realize the self. It must be free of all thoughts. Start by focusing on the single question which forms the basis of this article, who am I? Do not let other thoughts bother you. How to achieve this? When other thoughts arise (believe me, they will), do not run after them. Instead, start questioning their source. From where do they originate? The reply would be, “To me”. Upon repeated enquiry into “who am I” the mind will go to its source, and the thought will become quiet. When the mind goes through the brain, names and forms (the world as we see it) appear; but when the mind goes through the heart, the same disappear. You will find that the thought, “who am I” has also ceased to exist. Another world will arise, the world that is self. It has its own language; probably the language that you used when you were in your mother’s womb, we will never know. This stage is the stage of self-realization. You will not be able to stay in this thoughtless state for long, it requires practice.

Mind can also be silenced by practicing preksha-dhyaan, a breathing technique to quiet the thoughts. Meditating, repeated recitals of the mantras, fasting, are all methods to control the agitated mind. Through meditation, the mind becomes focused on a single position. It ceases to meander.

Waking and Dream

When we are awake, what we see we say is reality. Same for dream, when we are dreaming, the happenings of a dream seem real. Apart from that, you are awake longer than you dream or is it otherwise?
