Cannabis Vodka - A Brand New Vodka With A Cannabis Kick

It was only a matter of time before someone came up with the idea of mixing vodka with cannabis. This drink is the newest trend that can be found in bars and clubs across Europe and originated in the Czech republic. People over the years have enjoyed mixing the stems and seeds of the cannabis plant with many different recipes including brownies and tea. Now you can enjoy a great quality vodka with a subtle herbal aftertaste in your home.

Cannabis vodka is hard to get and is only sold by a few stores around the world. You have to make sure that you are buying authentic cannabis vodka and not some homemade bootleg version. Many people enjoy brewing their own homemade vodka with stems and seeds but this can be a time consuming process. You can find the real thing online on at absinthe liquor suppliers.

This new vodka hybrid is composed of very simple ingredients. The blend is a 40 percent cereal alcohol with spring water and sugar and is bottled with cannabis sativa seeds. These seeds are more commonly known as the Beniko species. Each one of these seeds contains a small trace amount of THC which is released into the vodka. THC is also very similar on a molecular level to the herb Thujone which is the
psychoactive ingredient in absinthe.

Now I know what you might be asking: “Is this stuff legal to buy and drink?” Their is no need to worry about buying or drinking cannabis vodka because it is completely legal and can be purchased in every country with the exception of Australia. You can absolutely buy this stuff and have it shipped anywhere in the world without any legal consequences.

It is becoming increasingly popular in many bars and clubs and now can be bought privately for you to drink in the comfort of your home.

The Facts About Credit Based Safelists

Safelist advertising is still one of the cheapest ways to promote your business on the Internet. It can also be one of the biggest wastes of time if you bother with safelists that don’t bring results. This article is going to focus on credit based safelists and why, in the long run, they are probably your best choice as far as what kind of safelist to sign up with.

Most safelists revolve around the principal of allowing the member decide whether or not to read their safelist emails, while at the same time allowing them to email to other members as often as the safelist itself allows, whether it be daily, weekly or whatever. The problem with this concept is that most people don’t read their emails and yet expect others to read the emails that they send out. Of course nobody does, and in essence, this makes normal safelist advertising close to worthless. It is because of this reason that credit based safelists were created.

The basic credit based safelist works as follows. The person signs up, whether it be free or paid, and upon signup gets a certain number of credits. The number is usually in the thousands, but greatly varies from safelist to safelist. With these credits, the member is allowed to then send to as many members as he has credits. So if he is given 30,000 credits in his first month, then he is able to send his email ad to 30,000 members total for that time period, whether it be for the day, month or whatever. Once his credits are used up, he can no longer email to anymore members until he earns more credits. And therein lies the beauty of credit based safelists.

There are usually two ways for the member to earn credits. He can either buy credits at whatever the going rate is per credit, or, and this is the more popular option with members, he reads emails from the other members in order to get those credits. The number of credits you earn from each email you get will vary depending on the safelist, but it’s usually a good number of credits so that you don’t have to read anymore than 10 to 20 emails in order to send out your ad to another 1000 members, more or less. This gives people the incentive to read other ads because they know that if they do, they’ll get to send their ads out to more people.

While safelist advertising is not the most effective form of advertising on the Internet, credit based safelists at least give you a decent chance of making a few sales, as my own experience has shown me.

Embracing Change - Discovering Your Inner Resources

There are various types of transitions:

Self initiated - These are usually easier to cope with especially if you can gradually phase them in to your life, eg. moving house, changing job, getting married/divorced, having a child.

Imposed - These are often accompanied by the fear of the unknown causing us to resist, eg. redundancy, separation [not self initiated], relocation, empty nest syndrome.

Sudden - These can be followed by a period of shock, sense of loss, anger, depression and confusion, eg. death, illness [self or others], divorce.

When people enter a transition they have to deal with an ending before they can embrace the new beginning.

After major life events or an accumulation of lesser changes, people enter a transition cycle. Whether the changes are good or bad, they still have the potential to destabilise us.

If the event is good, there will be an initial excitement followed by a ‘honeymoon’ period often lasting several weeks or months. Commonly around six months later, there may be inner contradictions, uncertainty, questioning of choices, losing confidence, confusion or even low mood.

Similarly, if the change is bad, there is often an initial numbness followed by disbelief. This can progress towards the same questioning, re evaluating and negative emotions which can leave people feeling bewildered and overwhelmed.

People can find they are:

Discontent with their life/lifestyle that was previously deemed to be ok.

Bored with things or people that were previously important or interesting.

Yearning for adventure or something different.

Confusion about identity and the meaning of life and decisions previously made.

Mistakes made:

In a crisis, people often make poor or irrational decisions. This can lead to regrets later, eg. leave a job or partner, throw away security. Although women are generally more open about expressing feelings, how they cope can be dependent on personality type and resilience. Often women are or have been in a caring role and if this is a strong part of their identity it can make it difficult to seek out or accept support which can compound the situation.

When dealing with transitions low self esteem and lack of confidence left unsupported can equal lost opportunities. Therapy can often help towards letting go, accepting, exploring and testing out until a new found confidence is reached and transformation is complete.

Coping strategies:

Be patient! - You are changing from one set of circumstances to another so give yourself time to adjust and settle down.

Expect to have a reaction - Allow yourself to laugh, cry or feel angry, change involves a degree of loss. It’s natural to grieve a little and look back.

Try not to personalise - Change will happen and we often don’t have any control over events in our life. Don’t fixate or look to attribute blame as this is non productive.

Be flexible - Go with the flow if you resist it can prolong the process - you are only fighting with yourself.

Don’t isolate yourself - Allow yourself to be supported and get a different, more objective perspective.

Don’t let negativity breed negativity - It’s easy to catastrophise everything when you’ve had a difficult time. There are usually positives in there too, however small.

Break it down - Deal with it in manageable chunks, it will seem less overwhelming and don’t forget to acknowledge your achievements.

Learn from it - Take the wisdom that each transition brings, we often get the most growth from the things that are most difficult.

Know that it will end.

When Custom Programming Isn’t Custom

I have seen a pattern forming over the years where we will be contacted by a potential client with a story such as, “I paid over $5000 four months ago to have my ecommerce site built and it’s still up and the designers won’t fix it!”. I’m not a big fan of stories like this. For one, this means that this potential client has already spent their budget having something created that didn’t actually meet their needs - meaning that they do not have the budget to pay the going rate for having the site done properly. But the more disturbing aspect is when I have a look at what has already been built and find out that the ecommerce website is really nothing more than OsCommerce.

For those of you who may be unfamiliar with OsCommerce, it is a FREE shopping cart solution built by many different programmers to be offered as “open-source”. It’s fine if a client really has a bare-bones budget because hey, it’s free. When we use a free solution such as OsCommerce, what we charge the client for is simply installing, customizing the template, and setting up initial categories, shipping, etc. Unless you are programming or installing many additional complex modules to interact with the base cart, I really can not fathom why a job using OsCommerce would cost $5000 or more. To me, this screams of shady business practices.

I’ve said this in a number of other articles, that I believe honesty is always the best policy. If you are using any sort of pre-developed software (whether it’s free or if you are paying for it), do not fool your client into believing that they are receiving 100% custom work. I find that even when using software, there are aspects that are custom (usually the design), but we make clear in our estimates and contracts which is which and what the client is actually paying for.

Designers and programmers are always on the look out for things that can help them while doing a job, everything from free scripts to stock photos to the latest software. As a designer or programmer, you have to judge for yourself what works best for you and what would benefit your client the most. I find the clients are much more comfortable working with you when they know exactly what you are doing for them and what they paying for and it’s simply more ethical to let a client know when you are using a free or pre-built solution.

Personal Pontoon Boats For River Fishing

I’ve been a river angler for more than 15 years and have fallen in love with personal pontoon boats. Fishing in a river used to mean wading for long distances upstream and downstream in an attempt to catch fish. There is nothing wrong with fishing in this way, however on some rivers it requires a ton of crossing back and forth, and with no clearly defined trails along many rivers, the terrain can become impassible. Therefore I could only fish a couple of miles both up and downstream from the parking area.

Then I began using a personal pontoon boat. What’s a personal pontoon boat, you ask? It’s basically a seat mounted on a pair of inflatable pontoons. I think you can even get them with two seats if you need an extra seat. With a personal pontoon boat, you fish the river in style. They are great.

Using a personal pontoon boat to fish your favorite river is the way to go. They offer you the flexibility to cover great distance, much farther than walking along the shore and crossing the river numerous times. You see, I don’t actually fish from my personal pontoon, although I suppose a person could? I use it to get down the river, and simply stop at a stretch That I want to fish, pull over, and fish the area. I wear my waders the entire time, just like when hiking up and down the river, so when a get to a good stretch of river, I fish it as I always do. It’s great!

One of the things I enjoy most about river and stream fishing is being out in nature. There’s just something about standing in the middle of a flowing river on a beautiful day that feels right to me. I still get to experience all of this with the help of my personal pontoon boat; it’s just that now I have more access to the rivers that I fish. I’m no longer limited to only the area’s that are within walking distance of the parking area.

My personal pontoon boat has at least doubled the amount of river I can fish in a single trip. And the fact that I still get to fish the way I love to and don’t have the bother of maneuvering and hauling a canoe or small boat is another great advantage of my personal pontoon boat. If you spend a lot of time in waders, river fishing, it may be time to look into added a personal pontoon boat to your fishing gear.

Dr. “S” Reveals His New Home Buying Secret That Works In Any Housing Market

Instead of renting, Dr. “S” discovered a “secret” for buying a house with no bank qualifying and no big down payment.

“Leasing to own made sense, once I learned more about it,” Dr. “S” shared. “I have to admit, when I stumbled upon the idea, I thought it was for people with bad credit and little money. I kind of associated it with renting to own a TV or sofa.”

For Dr. “S,” once he realized the benefits of leasing to own a home, he seized the opportunity.

“Clearly, leasing to own benefits me, and I wonder how many other professionals in a situation similar to mine are aware of this buying secret or realize just how much they can benefit from leasing to own,” added Dr. “S.”

“First, I picked out my new home based on what I can afford. Since I didn’t have much of a credit file, I now have time to add and season trade lines. Trying to buy a home in my situation…more [school] debt than income, I didn’t have much chance of buying unless my parents co-signed for me. That was an option, but I didn’t want to do that. This way, I didn’t have to come up with much of a down payment, I have a mortgage specialist there to work with me & I can afford this home,” he stated.

As Dr. “S” iterated, overcoming the stigma of “leasing to own” (and all comparable terms including rent-to-own, lease-option, lease-purchase, lease with an option to purchase) is a challenge for some professionals once they discover this buying strategy.

Dr. “S” listed the benefits he received by leasing to own:

**He picked the home he wanted & could afford.
**His method of purchase remains anonymous - his neighbors do not know how he “purchased” his home. For all intents & purposes, he is the “owner” of his home.
**He did not need to bank qualify.
**He did not need to come up with a big down payment & closing costs.
**He gets time to season his newly added tradelines (accounts).
**He didn’t have to rent.
**He has a veteran mortgage specialist working on his behalf.

Dr. “S” represents one type of professional, who takes advantage of leasing to own as he “seasons” his credit and income.

Financially secure “boomers” with great credit, as well as many others wanting a second home, also are choosing to lease to own instead of buying the conventional way. Why?

As Dr. “S” has pointed out, leasing to own allows him and other buyers unique benefits including the ability to “try out” their new homes and neighborhoods.

“What did I have to lose?” Dr. “S” points out. “I have a beautiful home in a professional community. I have very little of my money invested. We negotiated a great price. I have solid paperwork. And when my home appreciates in value, I’ll have equity instead of rent receipts. No doubt, this is a great opportunity for me.”

Dr. “S” correctly points out the need to choose carefully the real estate professionals with whom you choose to work and to have your real estate attorney review the all paperwork.

Before you buy your new home the “traditional” way, take a moment to consider whether this “secret” buying strategy saves your credit, your sanity & your money.

Discover the benefits of buying your new home with no credit at risk or no big down payment.

Can You Earn Extra Income on The Internet?

Do any of the online schemes for earning income online really work? Can an ordinary person who would like to make some extra income really succeed?

There is no doubt about it that some people do earn good income online. But what percentage of those who join up with online affiliate schemes actually succeed in earning anything?

The short answer would seem to be that those with good mailing lists make money and those without mailing lists don’t.

The mailing list and the way it is used are the real secret. Without a list it would appear to be almost impossible to succeed. This point is borne out by the fact that those with good lists are lothe to share them, Neither will they tell anyone else how they managed to build them.

The other great secret is the ability to write good, selling copy. If you can write good selling copy you can entice people to give you their name to add to your mailing list.

Then, of course, your only challenge is to attract people to your web site. Not as easy as you might think, but there are ways to do this if you have the time and dedication to make them work for you.

The alternative is to spend money on Google ads or pay-per-click visitors.

It would seem that there is a lot of preparation work necessary before you can start to earn the extra income.

So, why do people with good products bother to offer partnerships and affiliate programs? The answer is to attract people who have good mailing lists. If they can do that then they can convert those visitors to join their own mailing list.

So there is probably a whole host of web “junkies” out there who have their names on a lot of different mailing lists.

Can you become one of those who earns extra income on the Internet. Certainly you can but you have to go about it in the right way. It is much harder work than many would have you believe.

So is it worthwhile investing the time and energy in trying to earn extra income on the Internet? Yes, I you are prepared to invest in learning and buying the tools you need to make a success of it. This is not a game where many become wealthy by accident.

Modes - Part 1

All of the modes may be played within any one of the five common fingering patterns on the guitar. It is helpful to understand the interval adjustments of the major scale necessary to create each mode. (i.e.) any Dorian Mode is any Major scale with a lowered 3rd & 7th degress. (i.e) any Lydian Mode ia any Major scale with a raised 4th degree.

Sooner or later the serious student of the guitar develops an interest in improvisation. This most stimulating activity need not, be confined to Jazz Improvisation, but can be practiced on all styles the student is able to appreciate and comprehend.Country/Rock, Blues, Metal, Jazz, all provide ample room for improvisation.

Modes

In ancient Greece the modes were the strong pylons upon which the Greeks built their musical bridges. They are certainly not recent inventions. As long ago as the 4th century B.C. Pythagoras and the Greek thinkers had derived a system which almost corresponds with the series of white keys on the present- day piano. It is not, therefore, surprising to find these ancient Greek modes gradually being recognized as important facets in our musical language. There is an undoubted fascination with these magical scales and one simply must be determined to work and be alert to the sounds they create and above all be patient.

How the modes work:

If we were looking at a piano keyboard we would notice that without the black keys there are 8 octaves of the C major scale. If you run your finger left to right along the white keys you will be playing , the scale of C major even though you happen to start on a note other than C. This musical fact is the essence of the modes. A scale can be played from any of it’s notes to any other of it’s without moving into another key. Actually if you were to play the scale of C major from F to F an octave higher you would be playing a nodal scale based on the key of C and the scale would be called F Lydian.

In each major scale there are seven modes because the major scale have seven different notes, if we were working with a pentatonic scale (containg five notes) we would have five modes to work with; one for each degree.

Learn the following table -

Play a major scale from note 1 to note 1 above = IONIAN MODE

Play a major scale from note 2 to note 2 above = DORIAN MODE

Play a major scale from note 3 to note 3 above = PHRYGIAN MODE

Play a major scale from note 4 to note 4 above = LYDIAN MODE

Play a major scale from note 5 to note 5 above = MIXO-LYDIAN MODE

Play a major scale from note 6 to note 6 above = AEOLIAN MODE

Play a major scale from note 7 to note 7 above = LOCRIAN MODE

Play a major scale from note 8 to note 8 above = note 1 to 1

All examles above are shown in the key of C major however the advancing guitarist should practice the modes in every key. The same formula works for each key:

note 1 to 1 always = IONIAN

note 2 to 2 always = DORIAN

note 3 to 3 always = PHRYGIAN

note 4 to 4 always = LYDIAN

note 5 to 5 always = MIXO-LYDIAN

note 6 to 6 always = AEOLIAN

note 7 to 7 always = LOCRIAN

note 8 to 8 always = note 1 to 1

Each modes unique sequence of intervals creates a mode’s unique musical “quality” or flavor.

The following descriptions are “intuitive” and are meant to serve only as a general guide to the modes’ individual differences, resulting from their unique intervallic makeup.

Ionian Mode

Description The Ionian Mode is the scale you get when you play one octave up from the first note of a major scale. This mode has the same step-pattern as the major scale, which means, C Ionian is also the C major scale. This mode has a naturally occurring dominant fifth chord, which indicates the fifth note G (in C Ionian) can be used as a dominant chord; i.e. G7. This pure and happy sounding mode can be heard in nursery rhymes such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and I’m a Little Tea Pot.

Quality Happy, Merry, Upbeat, Cheerful

Music Styles Rock, Country, Jazz, Fusion, Folk Songs, Nursery Rhymes

Tonic Chords Unaltered major chords; i.e. C, C6, Cmaj7, Cmaj9, C6/9, Cadd9, Cmaj13

Improvising Try the C Ionian over this chord progression: C, F, G7, C

Dorian Mode

Description The Dorian Mode is the scale you get when you play one octave up from the second note of a major scale. D Dorian starts on the second note of the C major scale, keep in mind the dorian mode refers to the second note of a major scale. Dorian is a minor sounding mode, which, is commonly used in Jazz, Blues and Irish folk songs. This mode can be heard in the folk song Scarborough Fair and the timeless classic Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles. The Dorian Mode differs from the major scale because it has a flat 3rd (b3) and a flat 7th note (b7).

Quality Jazzy, Soulful, Sophisticated

Music Styles Jazz, Blues, Fusion, Rock

Tonic Chords Unaltered minor chords; i.e. Dm, Dm6, Dm7, Dm7sus4, Dm9, Dm11, Dm13

Improvising Try the D Dorian over this chord progression: Dm7, Fmaj7, Cmaj7, Em7 .

Look for the second part of this article where we will continue our description of the modes.

Fairy Gardens, From Living Arts

Fairy gardens are not a new idea; however, bringing them indoors is.

They are in either a pot or unique basket filled with a tasty, mixed variety of culinary herbs, little topiaries, blooming mini scented plants (geraniums, roses, Ivys, cosmos etc.,) and cute little fairy furniture. Tiny trellies, chairs, wheel barrels, and buckets accessorize them as well. They are very realistic if placed in a ‘low & long’ or ‘low & wide’ container, where you see the actual nature scene with the different levels and adorable ‘naturistic’ furniture.

These Fairy gardens are absolutely enchanting to any room, and useful in your most culinary dishes. They can appear immortal, if taken care of properly, and if kept in a sunny location; they will stay very nice for long periods of time.

These gardens make a clever, as well as creative, useful gift.

Its nice to make sure your tiny topiaries are in bloom, and are a great conversation piece for any party or get-together. “I feel like I’m part of a little forest” People have said. They are a wonderful idea for kids to ponder, and imagine they’re part of.
The combinations are endless, incorporating little ferns, mosses, rocks and other various natural elements.

I train the ivy’s to grow around the trellis, for an additional effect of realistic feeling.
Fairy Gardens are fun to plan, picking the plants and containers, and also easy to maintain. The pruning process of the herbs for cooking helps them gain strength, and makes them bushy!

Live in a apartment or townhouse? This is a little nature scene from the outdoors to cheer you up (as well as your environment,) every time you look at them. The fragrant herbs are abundant in the air, and you can go to a place of love and softness that makes you smile each time you come near them!
