Most people know that the incidence of online fraud is increasing. Every day you read where credit card numbers are being stolen and identity theft is becoming a common occurrence. Some of this is due to the increasing knowledge and boldness of the cyber crooks, but a good deal of it is occurring because the average “lazy” web surfer has failed to implement any sort of security protocol. Here are 5 simple tips you can implement right away (today…), to make your eBay experience safer and more enjoyable.

Choose a strong password…

Most people overlook simple things. When was the last time you changed your password? Does your password have numbers AND letters? Is it a minimum of eight-characters long? A strong, hard to guess password is necessary to secure your account.

Don’t follow links to reach eBay…

What a simple way to safeguard yourself. Whenever you enter PayPal information, make sure you do so directly on the homepage at PayPal.com. If you are using Internet Explorer, look for authentication in the address bar (it should be green). Spoofing websites mimic original websites in look and feel, but will have some notable differences in the address bar. Also, make sure that you don’t click through to eBay or PayPal from text links, or the emails you get in your ‘Inbox’ or ‘Bulk Mail’ box.

Use the eBay Toolbar…

Like it or not, you will get emails claiming to be from eBay or other sellers, giving you a link to follow and asking you to enter your eBay USER ID. Such emails, that you think are from eBay, but are really fraudulent are called “phishing” emails. The senders are attempting to steal your eBay identity by fraudulently securing your username and password. The eBay toolbar, offered as a free download from eBay, will verify that you are on the actual eBay website and will alert you to fraudulent websites.

Update Your Antivirus Software…

Antivirus programs that can catch “Viruses and Spyware” are a required item on your hard drive when surfing the net. Viruses can damage your computer operating system, and Spyware will monitor every website you visit as well as every keystroke you make. These malicious programs can run in the background undetected unless you have proper Antivirus / Antispyware software installed. You should also install and activate a good firewall to keep “outside influences outside” (Internet Explorer has a basic firewall included).

Monitor you account regularly…

This is an easy one to overlook. Check your account frequently for any unauthorized listings, emails, or charges. If you observe suspicious activity, you will need to contact eBay quickly to avoid further difficulties.

By taking a few minutes and implementing these 5 security tips you “WILL” make your eBay experience safer.

No question has given man so much thought as to the nature and existence of God. Throughout the age’s great minds and thinkers have tried to either prove or disprove the existence of God. From Descartes to Dawkins, thinkers have tried to convince others of, either the existence or non existence of God. From a spiritual point of view we can examine why people may find belief in God and what this actually means.

1.-”I think therefore I am” Rene Descartes sought to prove the existence of God through a certain mental process. Descartes suggested that because he thinks, it must be true that he exists. Furthermore he goes on to ascertain that if he exists and existence is basically good, then life must have been given by God. This is a rather brief summary of Descartes arguments; however it leaves us feeling unsatisfied to say the least.

2.-Can God be proved through intellectual rational? The nature of God or the Supreme Being is that he embodies a consciousness far beyond the domain of the human intellect. To describe and feel the attributes of immortality and infinity are not possible for the human mind. Therefore to prove the existence or otherwise of God through words alone is very difficult; it is like trying to explain the beauty of a sunset to a man who is blind.

3.-Spiritual experience. One concept of God is that God embodies infinite peace, light and delight. God is not so much a person but a consciousness that can be felt through spiritual exercise. If we meditate on God and feel the presence of inner peace and light, this is the real evidence that there is a higher power. Our spiritual experiences will not prove God’s existence to others; we can only ever prove the existence of God to ourselves.

“They proved to me by convincing reasons that God does not exist, and I believed them. Afterwards I saw God, for He came and embraced me. And now which am I to believe, the reasoning of others or my own experience?”

- Sri Aurobindo

4.-God and religious Texts. Many gain belief or non belief through the examination of religious texts. Some say the divine inspiration of religious texts proves there is a God. However others argue that inconsistency’s and contradictions in religious texts prove otherwise. At best religious and spiritual texts can give a glimpse of aspects of the divine; but spiritual books cannot alone prove God.

5.-What is God? Some people find it hard to express belief in God, yet they believe in many aspects of God. They may have faith in doing the right thing or “doing unto others as you would have done to yourself”. For example Lord Buddha never used the term God; this was because he felt that God could not be adequately expressed using words. However the Buddha did refer to infinity, immortality and the bliss of nirvana. In talking about these concepts the Buddha was referring to the Supreme Being in an indirect way. Thus although some people may not believe in the term “God” expressed in religious traditions, they may still believe in some kind of “higher power” or force of good. Whether they refer to “God” is of secondary importance. Whatever name we give to God doesn’t change the nature of God.

6.-Meditation and God. It is in meditation that we can quieten the mind and become aware of a higher transcendental consciousness which is our real self. It is only through meditation that we can have a real sense of belief in God.

“Even spiritual books do not prove the existence of God. For the seeker, meditation is of primary importance; meditation is the only answer, Meditation will not fail him. Let him approach his true self and then see if he still believes that there is no God.” (1)

The Alphabet of Email Etiquette

Discover the do’s and don’ts of today’s most popular means of business communication - email. Demonstrating proper email etiquette will not only keep you out of hot water, it will also help you project an outstanding impression of yourself and your organization.

Avoid being personal or emotional in emails since you lose the benefit of facial expressions and tone of voice. Intent can be easily misconstrued and lead to confusion.

Best used as a way of sending cold data, charts, directions, and follow up information.

Captial - letters should only be used where it is grammatically correct to do so. Using all capitals does not mean that it is important, it is considered yelling.

Define - the subject and determine the recipients. The subject line is the punch line of your email and it should be concise and alluring. The “to” field should only include people that need to take action. The “cc” field is for the people that only need to be aware of the information.

Email Signature - keep it short, simple and professional. Include your name, company name, title within your company, live website link and contact information. It’s appropriate to include a tag line for branding, but refrain from using quotes. Ensure that the signature is not an attachment and use graphics or logos sparingly, if at all.

Forward - Be thoughtful and only pass on messages that you feel have special interest to your recipients. Protect others privacy and respect “scroll reluctance” by deleting previous recipients’ addresses or other extraneous information that precedes the message.

Grammar - write in full sentences. Use proper capitalization and grammar.
Begin and end your email as you would a business letter, with a salutation at the beginning and a signature at the end. Avoid slang, shorthand, and rambling.
Customize your email so that all documents are spell checked before they are sent. Single space between lines and double space between paragraphs. Use black font colour.

Honour - your audience’s interaction and frequency preferences. While it may be quicker to use email, some people prefer face-to-face interaction or telephone calls for certain matters. Many people receive hundreds of emails every day and may not appreciate receiving even the most well intentioned joke, inspirational message or even acknowledgment of information they have delivered to you.

Image - Your emails should support the image you want to communicate about yourself and your organization. Consider the impact of spelling, grammar, overuse of exclamation points, acronyms and emoticons.

Jokes - in the workplace do alleviate stress, but limit the number of jokes you send and make sure your humour could not be considered vulgar or target groups (e.g., ethnicity, gender, religion, politics, age, etc.). If you have friends outside of work who send you inappropriate humor to your workplace, ask them to send it to your home computer.

Know - your desired outcome. What do you want to achieve by sending the email? Make it clear to the recipient what is expected of them. A task or information request should not be buried in the body of the email. Use bullets or bold so the email can be quickly scanned and desired outcomes easily understood.

Legal - Emails can be considered legal documents. Disclaimers are quite commonly used by companies and placed below block signatures to decrease liability. Since laws vary by geography, it is wise to ask for legal advice when preparing your email’s disclaimer.

Mammoth - emails should not be sent. Most people do not like scrolling through pages and pages of email. Keep your messages brief and succinct or use an alternative method of information delivery.

Notifications - do not ask a recipient to send you a notification that you have read his or her email unless you have both agreed to do so.

Only - send messages when you are calm. Any messages that may be contentious should be saved as a draft and revisited after a cool down period. If in doubt, have someone you trust proof read it. Don’t insert the address until the last possible moment to avoid the “accidental send”.

Privacy - assume you have none and that it is your obligation to protect others’. Many companies monitor the email habits of their employees, so do not be tempted to send and receive personal email at work. Emails can also be subpoenaed into court or used for any investigation that may or may not directly involve you. Use the “cc” function only when it is necessary for others to know who received the email, otherwise use the “bcc” feature to protect the privacy of others’ email addresses.

Quit - checking your email obsessively. Turn off your notification and dedicate two or three blocks of time during your day to check and deal with email.

Reply - don’t automatically use the “reply all” feature. Take a moment to consider who really needs the information.

Speedy - there is an expectation of an almost instant response to an email. If you are unable to respond within 24 hours, send an acknowledgment that the email was received and provide a time frame in which the recipient can expect a full response.

Thread - is an entire email that remains visible while people reply back and forth when discussing one or two particular topics. It is polite to keep a thread alive until your email conversation has reached a natural conclusion.

Undeliverables - give people the benefit of the doubt if they have not replied to your email. Delivery is not guaranteed. Your email may have been trapped in a spam filter or undeliverable due to a full mailbox, closed account or a misspelled address. If you are sending an important time sensitive email to an external address for the first time, follow up with a phone call and advise the recipient to check their spam filter if they have not received the email in their inbox.

Virus - never forward a virus warning until you have checked it through a hoax site or your IT department. Attachments are always suspect to email recipients who do not know you. If you need to send an email to someone who does not know you, take the time to send an email without the attachment first and ask permission to send an attachment.

Website - if you mention a website address, make sure it is a “live link” so recipients can double click and go there easily. Test the link before you send the email.

X - Use the delete feature as soon as you decide you no longer need to keep an email. Messages you wish to keep should be filed immediately. Keeping your inbox clean not only keeps you organized, it also prevents senders from receiving a “mailbox full” bounce-back message.

Yes - email is an easy, efficient and excellent means of communication. It is not, however, a substitute for other, more personal means of communication. It is only one of many resources to help support relationships.

Zip attachments that must be sent electronically and are larger than 1KG.

1. To Get Rid of Your Adjustable Rate Mortgage

You have an Adjustable Rate Mortgage that is already adjusting (or will begin to adjust within the next 12 months). Currently, mortgage interest rates are lower than they have been in several decades, and they will not stay this low forever. Over the past year, rates have been slowly and steadily inching up, so ARM’s are a potentially dangerous product if the borrower has reached the end of the fixed period.

2. To Get Rid of Your Interest Only Mortgage Loan

You have an Interest Only loan that will reach the end of the guaranteed period within the next 12-24 months. Since the majority of Interest Only loans are also ARM’s after the initial guarantee period, it is likely that the borrower would be better off with a refinance for the same reasons specified above.

3.-To Reduce Debt

You have significant personal debt that can be completely eliminated with the equity accumulated in your property AND the increase in your monthly mortgage payment will be less than the combined current mortgage payment plus debt installments AND the consumer debts would not have been paid off anyway with existing payments by the end of the proposed new mortgage term.

4.-To Shorten Your Loan Term

Your goal is to completely pay off your property as quickly as possible. By refinancing your current loan to a shorter term like 15 years, or to one that requires bi-weekly payments, you can reduce your total payments and also significantly shorten the length of time until the property is paid off.

5.-To Remove PMI

You have the ability to remove the PMI requirement from your loan. If your home has appreciated in value and your mortgage comprises less than 80% of the total fair market value of the property, refinancing will remove the additional payments for PMI. Since nearly all refinances require a new appraisal of the property, this new evaluation will demonstrate that the refinanced amount is less than 80% of the home’s current worth, therefore no PMI will be necessary.

A Bigger Penile Base or a Bigger Head?

Most people believe that penis size matters but is that actually true? It is a fact that a few females get aroused by big penises. No wonder a lot of males are looking for a method to make their member more sizeable. This “problem” typical amongst males has promoted the ascendence of male enhancement pills and other apparatus.

Male enlargement products are creating quite a stir in the industry. Men are supporting these items because they care about satisfying their partners in bed. Some other men purchase this to bring up their self-esteem because they have a small penis. Whatever the reason for getting the product, it all boils down to one thing–enjoyment. It’s either pleasuring their partners or elevating their egos, it could be the same thing. Happiness is however still the issue.

These male enlargement product lines claim to make a man’s penis longer. There are various methods that can enlarge penis size. A man may choose to indulge in some exercises, take pills or use sex toys or enhancement gadgets. Different product lines realize varying results with regard to sexual satisfaction.

But there are women who would opt for their partners to have average sized penises. Why you might be saying to yourself? An overly large member could lead to pain. This is notably true if the man does not know how to treat his partner with care. He just goes wham-bam-slam and it’s all over. These kinds of men must learn how to please their partners.

In a situation with a sensuous tone, it is possible that the appearance of the penis will swell. What is more important, a larger glans or a bigger penis stem? Most, if not all, would most likely say that a larger glans is more important. This response could be correct but it could also be inaccurate. The all-important thing is the couple together experience sexual gratification.

A bigger penis stem is more important than a larger glans. This is what a few females will most likely state. A member with a larger glans may be really good to look at. But a member with a bigger penis stem feels much better when getting it on. How come? This is because a woman’s most erogenous sexual organ is the clitoris. The end of the penis can’t stimulate the clitoris after the penis is already inside. The stem therefore will assume the role of ingratiating the woman. A bigger penis stem will almost certainly rub the clitoris when the male is making love with his partner. The rubbing between the penis stem and the clitoris will feel incredible to the woman.

However, there are cases where some couples do not “fit” exactly. A member may turn out to be too small for the woman’s vagina. In other cases, a huge member might not get inside it, but this shouldn’t hinder their enjoyment. The couple should get creative. They can opt to try out various positions to find out what sexual position suits them best.

Today’s woman is everything to everyone. She’s a corporate executive, mother, wife, nurturer, lover, provider and so much more. But somewhere along the way, we forgot the most important person in her life to nurture, herself.

Today we feel more isolated and alone that in any era throughout history. We work longer hours, try to squeeze in as much time for her family as possible and let’s not forget just a few other obligations like PTA, shopping, cleaning house, driving kids to sports, taking pet’s to the vet, etc.

Does this sound familiar to you? How many times have you called your girlfriends only to hear them say, ‘Oh gosh, I have been so busy I haven’t had time to call, the kids are sick and it’s crazy at work.” We promise to call and get together but the days turn into weeks, weeks into months and months into years.

This was my life for more years than I care to admit. I was in corporate America as a single mother working 8 - 10 hours a day and leaving my daughter to be raised by someone else. Making someone else rich, taking my two weeks vacation and selling my life for $50k a year.

Now I’m sure your thinking, ok I’m totally depressed but what’s your point. Believe me when I say I am getting to the point and there is light at the end of the tunnel for us all.

I discovered a renewed sense of self one day when I received an invitation to a Partylite candle party. I had heard of Partylite and been using the candles but they were all in a box in my closet because I had forgotten about them. I decided I really needed to get out and see my friends again so I call a sitter and went. All I can say is that night changed my life FOREVER!

I saw friends I hadn’t talked to in months. We giggled and talked like a bunch of teenagers; it was so fun! I realized then and there my life had to change. Being a social creature by nature, I listened intently when the consultant let all of us know that Partylite offers new consultants a FREE start in the business and unlimited half price shopping. I’m thinking to myself, WOW half price and I get to socialize too?!?

Don’t get me wrong, I was scared to death of the thought of giving up my job, health insurance and 401K for the prospect of selling candles as my only source of income. Fortunately for me, I married an amazing, supportive, understanding man that told me to go for it. I could always go back to another dead end job if this didn’t work out. (Thanks babe!)
So, after months of soul searching and internal debate, I booked my start up show and my life began to change. Once my startup party was finished, I got together with my consultants leader, Kim and my life really went to a whole new level. Has there ever been a person in your life you immediately clicked with. There is no explanation why, you just feel right with them. She really understood my desire and drive to take on the world and live life at a level 10. With all the support and encouragement of her and her amazing team, I started down the road to my own financial freedom and making all my dreams come true.

I know you are thinking I am exaggerating, but nothing could be further from the truth. With Partylite, I control my schedule working when I want. Instead of the 45 - 50 hour week, I work 50 - 60 hours a month and make amazing income. With my team, we create awesome marketing and training materials and build skills that enable all of us to take on any challenge we face together. I now have a huge network of friends and colleagues who support and understand each other on every level.

My only regret is that I didn’t decide to take control of my life years ago so I could have the life I always dreamed of sooner. Someone once told me that feminine pleasure is feminine power, but I didn’t understand what it meant at the time. Now I understand completely and encourage amazing women all over the world to step out of their comfort zone and join this truly breathtaking group of women.

What is Owner’s Draw in QuickBooks? How Does Owner’s Draw Work?

If you are a sole-proprietor, you may have wondered about the Owner’s Draw account and how it works. I’ll try to explain it in a way that makes sense to people who use QuickBooks.

Owner’s Equity, Owner’s Investment, and Owner’s Draw - Defined

If you open the Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks, scroll down to the Equity accounts - normally about half way down. You may see one or more of these names: Owner’s Equity, Owner’s Investment, or Owner’s Draw. To make it easier to understand, we’ll say, for now, that the above terms are synonymous. Some accountants reading this may not agree, but I think for anybody who doesn’t understand what they mean, it’s easier to understand them if we use the terms interchangeably.

Here’s what I want you to know about the above terms: they all represent the amount of personal money the owner has put into, and taken out of, the business. Notice the emphasis on the word personal - this means money generated outside of the business’ activities.

Whatever the name, if it has a positive balance, this represents the sum total of personal money you’ve put into the business. If it has a negative balance, this represents the sum total of personal money you have removed from the business.

How much money can I draw out of the business for personal expenses? Is there a limit? Do I pay taxes on that money?

Sole proprietors may draw out as much personal money from the business as they wish, with no tax implications. Taxes are paid based on the profit of the business, not on the money the owner removes from the businesses for personal purposes.

Also, it does not matter how much money the owner originally invested. In fact, it’s extremely common for the owner to draw out much, much, more from the business than he/she originally invested. This is not illegal, and is, in fact, the way the owner pays him/herself for operating the business.

What if I didn’t keep track of personal money I put into the business?

It’s not really a problem, in and of itself. It becomes a problem when personal money was used for business expenses. If the money cannot be tracked, it means that there is no receipt or statement showing where the money came from or, more importantly, what it was used for. This means, in turn, that the expense cannot be claimed on a tax return.

The idea here is that you always need to be able to justify business expenses. In an IRS audit it won’t matter how the expense was paid for in a sole-proprietorship - what matters is the documentation (receipt, invoice, statement, etc.) showing that it was an actual business expense.

How do I record Owner’s Draw in QuickBooks?

Any time you use business funds for personal reasons, you will assign the Owner’s Draw account in the lower half of the screen. This is true for the Write Checks and Enter Credit Card Charges screens. You probably won’t ever use the Owner’s Draw account from the Enter Bills screen - if you ever find yourself doing this, call your accountant before finishing the transaction.

Here’s how to record it: from the Write Checks or Enter Credit Card Charges screens, record the date, amount, and other information as needed in the upper half of the screen. Then, in the lower half (the Expenses Tab), open the account box and scroll up to select the Owner’s Draw account. This ensures that personal expenses are not deducted from business income.

I want to show the personal money I put into the business as a loan to the business - is this ok?

Sure, it’s ok. You can do that if it makes you feel better. But remember: a sole proprietor is the businesses. It’s like loaning money to yourself. That doesn’t really make sense, but if it helps you, then do it. I’m not crazy about recommending this option, but since sole-proprietors don’t submit their balance sheets to the IRS (unlike other entities), I think it’s ok, especially for the first year or two.

I normally recommend that people show personal money invested in the business as an increase to Equity, and personal money withdrawn from the business as a decrease to Equity. People don’t loan money to themselves, but when personal money is added, it adds to the Equity, and when personal money is withdrawn, Equity is reduced. From an accounting standpoint it is more accurate to record it as additions and subtractions to Equity. But whichever way you will use consistently and accurately is really the most important thing!

I hope this answers your questions about Owner’s Equity accounts in QuickBooks. If you have more questions, feel free to submit them to me.

Basically make money at home classified into two categories:
1.Make money for selling products at home.
2.Make money for serving people at home.

Let’s talk about make money At home for selling products at home; there are tow major ways to sell products at home:
1.Selling your own products. 2. Selling other’s own Products.
In this Article I will focus about making money at home for selling other’s products and cover its advantages and its disadvantages and talk about the other ways later.

Before we start let’s describe other products and how to sell them, you can sell other’s Products by joining any affiliate program, you choose the products you wan to sell then you get your unique link which allow the third party who makes the payment to know that you are the affiliate marketer and put your commission in your account.

Selling your own Products does not need to have web site you can sell other products with website or without website, because you have the unique link so you can use it in your website, submit it to classified ads directories or send it by email but some websites do not allow you to join their affiliate program if you do not have website.

The advantages of selling others product:
1.You can put new products list and refresh your website every short time because there are 1000’s products you can sell.
2.You can use ads in your website because your visitor did not come to your web site to buy a cretin product, you list your products and tell the main function of them if the visitor did not like them but they might like anything in your ads.
3.You are not responsible about convincing costumes to buy the product all what you have to do is to put the link and a few descriptions about it and the product owner will take over the whole process.
4.You are not responsible about the costumer satisfaction because your mission is not selling or convincing costumers your mission is to guide them to products they are looking for.

The disadvantages of selling others products:
1.Not easy to describe, it’s not your product and you do not know a lot about it.
2.Nobody will market for your or put your link because you cannot give commission.
3.Nothing to do with the price, description, or presentation because you are not the owner.
4.You cannot make sale or attractive offers because you are not the owner of the product.
5.You have to check your affiliate links every one or two weeks because the products owner might cancel the affiliate program without informing you.

In my point of view the best advantage of selling other own products that you are not responsible about convincing costumes to buy the product all what you have to do is to put the link and a few descriptions about it and the product owner will take over the whole process. The worst disadvantage is you are alone in your marketing campaign.

Whether you are a first-time cruiser or a seasoned cruise vacation veteran, the Disney cruise is one vacation experience like no other. The Disney cruise line provides an amazing time for kids, but the adults will have just as much fun. While the kids are off enjoying all the Disney cruise ship has to offer, adults can enjoy a nice range of on-board activities, amenities, and areas reserved exclusively for them. The ship is not just a kids romper room, a Disney Cruise is a good option that offers first-rate facilities and activities for every age group.

What about the cost of a Disney cruise?

The Disney cruise allows you to keep your wallet inside your trousers, most things included in its all inclusive Disney cruise package. Cruising can be an affordable travel alternative; a Disney cruise is a fun way for your and your family to either separate or congregate. A Disney cruise package can be far less then some cruises and they will go out of their way to take care of anyone’s needs.

What kinds of activities are available on a Disney cruise vacation?

Suffice it to say, you’re going to experience some incredible onboard activities. As you’d expect from Disney, families will find special facilities and activities with the Disney Cruise Line, all beautifully executed and played out in precision. One of the best highlights of any Disney Cruise is the exciting day spent on Disney’s own private island paradise, Castaway Cay. Get out and stretch your legs and go for a swim on this beautiful mini island paradise. You can choose from a variety of activities for all ages at Castaway Cay to add to your Disney Cruise Line vacation fun.

What about all that cruise vacation food?

One thing that brings many folks to a cruise is the quality and quantity of the food. It’s hard to keep your waistline after sampling all the cruise line has to offer from their kitchens. The food is plentiful and diverse and staff is friendly. With food and drinks abundant and overflowing, along with being available 24/7, you can have a glutenous experience.

The Disney cruise is an amazing cruise to experience, and even an amazing all around vacation. The cruise vacation is great for all members of your family and worth looking into. The Disney Cruise is, by far, a vacation experience for young and old to enjoy and have a boat load of fun.

Amidst the sweet smell of the pines and firs, the very special energy of Mt. Shasta brings a blessing to all who honor this power spot in the far northern portion of California.

Are you thinking of getting married? Or know someone who is? The unusual variety of select places that abound around the meadows, forests — yes, even in the snow on the mountain itself makes McCloud, Dunsmuir, Mt. Shasta City, and Weed the very best place. An example was a wedding on the upper snowy slopes on New Year’s Day, with bright blue sky, the bride and groom, two witnesses, the Reverend, and a boom box playing Pacabel Cannon.

In choosing the sacred ceremony, the bride and groom may add or subtract verses of choice. Both meet with me for about an hour sometime before the wedding day. A profound experience is usually felt by participants who can honestly tell each other truths about their relationship.

If there is one or more children who will join with a new parent coming into the family, a Joining Ceremony is held for all, before the wedding itself, thus giving the newcomers a welcoming that perhaps could save hours of family therapy later.

The fee for all this? Whatever gratuity you choose, knowing that you are investing in your marriage…it all comes back to you! Delight in the splendor of Mt. Shasta, as well as in the many exciting adventures you will share together; not as one, but as the pillars of a temple stand apart, supporting the roof together, so shall you.
