In my current job in the health field industry, I have noticed a drastic increase in the number of individuals who have Diabetes. Even more alarming is that children are developing diabetes in greater volumes as well.

Diabetes Mellitus results when the body doesn’t produce enough insulin to maintain normal blood sugar levels or when cells in the body don’t respond appropriately to insulin.

People with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (insulin-dependent diabetes) produce little or no insulin at all. In contrast, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (non-insulin-dependent diabetes), the pancreas continues to manufacture insulin, sometimes even at higher than normal levels. However, the body develops resistance to its effects and the sugar in the blood does not enter the cells as well as it should, resulting in higher blood sugar levels. Type 2 Diabetes usually begins after age 30 and becomes progressively more common with age.

Research indicates that overweight people who have Diabetes suffer from a biological imbalance involving insulin. Insulin is a hormone that helps your body use and conserve food energy in several ways: insulin tells your body when to eat, Insulin delivers food energy to wherever the body needs it, Insulin also commands the body to save food energy stored in fat cells for a time when no food is available. Many people produce so much insulin that their bodies are unable to absorb it all. The result of this is an excess of insulin in their bloodstreams. This imbalance leads to a cycle in which they experience overpowering cravings for carbohydrates, such as breads, pastas, and snack foods. The more carbohydrates that are consumed, the greater the amount of insulin the body releases. Fortunately carbohydrate addiction and insulin imbalance can be reversed so that you can lose weight and be healthy the rest of your life-without feeling deprived or struggling to manage your eating patterns.

To help reverse Diabetes naturally you must eliminate or reduce sugar, fructose, corn syrup, white bread, and maple sugar. People who regularly drink sugar-sweetened beverages are at a high risk for both Diabetes and Obesity.

As Yogi Berra said, “It ain’t over till it’s over.” Right now it looks like earthlings are just about to follow the dinasours into extinction in nuclear world war 3 and its aftermath nuclear winter then ultraviolet summer. However it isn’t over till it’s over. Just ask Morgan Pressel.

18 year old blonde pixie Morgan Pressel stood on the 18th green yesterday at the the ladies’ first major golf tournament of the year the Dinah Shore Kraft Nabisco at 2 under par. At the time, Norwegian golfer Suzann Pettersen was on the 15th hole with a four shot lead over Morgan Pressel with four holes to go. It was at this moment that Morgan Pressel’s late mother Kathy Krickstein took the golden pixie dust from her pouch and sprinkled it all over the Mission Hills Golf Course in Rancho Mirage California.

Morgan Pressel said, “My mom is always with me and I know that she’s proud of me.” Two years ago Morgan’s 42 year old mom lost her battle with breast cancer and Morgan is being raised by her pathologist papa Herb Krickstein and her bubie Evelyn Krickstein who held Morgan’s hand as they took the celebratory jump into the lake on 18 after Morgan became the youngest major champion ever in ladie’s golf. Asked, “How was the jump into the pond?” Morgan said, “Wet and cold but I’d like to do it again.”

For those people who don’t believe in curses go read about the Kennedy family and the Anna Nicole Smith family. The only way for Dannielynn Smith to top Caroline Kennedy now would be if she were to choke on a piece of gefilte fish at the Passover Seder tonight like John Kennedy’s sister did.

Two years ago 16 year old Morgan Pressel was standing in the middle of the 18th fairway at the U.S. Open tied with Birdie Kim for the lead. Birdie was 10 miles from the hole in the right green side bunker when Birdie blew Morgan Pressel’s brains out with a magic bullet bunker shot into the bottom of the cup snatching victory away from Morgan who looked like she had it in the bag. The odd thing is how often this happens in golf. Greg Norman got shot in the head in the Masters playoff when Larry Mize holed an impossible pitch shot, in the PGA when Paul Azinger holed an impossible bunker shot on 18 and in Hawaii when Robert Gamez rubbed salt in the holes in Greg’s bullet ridden head by holing out on 18 from 175 yards.

Equally amazing in golf is how often players collapse coming down the stretch. This coming Sunday April 8, 2007 is Easter Master’s Sunday. They say that the Masters doesn’t start until the back nine on Sunday. The golf Messiah Tiger Woods says that his Buddhist faith has helped him to forget himself down the stretch and Zen into the zone. Tiger Woods is known for holding his composure while those around him crack under the indescribable pressure. Johnny Miller is always talking about how in his day Lee Trevino or Arnold Palmer or Tom Watson would come charging like Secretariat on Sunday with a 64 and how today the average score of Tiger Woods’ playing partner in the final group is 79. Has Tiger Woods sold his soul to Satan? Does Budddhism recognize Satan? If not he’s the red guy behind the ropes with the horns and pointy tail who smells like sulfur.

The Jewish name for demons is the “dybbuk”. Morgan Pressel says that her Jewish faith is very important to her. Jewish people wear red bendels, red ribbons to ward off evil spirits. Morgan Pressel is the first Jewish Major champion unless you count Cory Pavin, a born again Christian. This week Pope Benedict XVI said that Hell and Demons exist. The Pontiff will be using Holy Water and smoke and about 217 other rituals this week to cleanse the Vatican of evil spirits, not to mention his Callaway golf hat. The most glaring showing off by supernatural beings occurred at Winged Foot on 18 when the late Davis Love Jr. canopied the 18th green celebrating his son’s first Major PGA title with a magic rainbow.

The Zapruder film shows Satan himself firing the magic bullet from the grassy knoll into John Kennedy’s head. The question is, “Do legendary collapses occur because the winner sold his soul to Satan or because the winner was blessed by God and the archangels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Raphael or because some evil person cursed the leader or because the leader suffered from either shattering nerves or mental defect?” Yesterday in the Dinah Shore Suzann Pettersen closed bogey, double bogey, bogey and then parred the par 5 18th which Morgan Pressel birdied. Suzann Pettersen was the first ever golfer from Oslo Norway which is just south of Hell Norway. Hell Norway is just East of Greenland which melted during the Dinah Shore.

Tiger Woods won the latest British Open and PGA and is going this week for his third consecutive major championship and his second Tiger Slam. Tiger Woods won 3 straight U.S. amateurs. At 16 Morgan Pressel won the U.S. woman’s amateur. At the age of 12 Morgan Pressel became the youngest person ever to qualify for the U.S. Woman’s Open. She didn’t come from nowhere. It’s just that everyone has been focusing on Michelle Wie for her prodigious length off the tee. Unfortunately Michelle can’t chip or putt and she lost Dave Pelz’s phone number.

Carnoustie Scotland is just west of Oslo Norway. In 1999 at the British Open in Carnoustie Scotland Jean Van de Velde came to the 18th hole needing only a double bogey to win the Claret Jug and immortality. Curtis Strange was announcing in the booth ripping his hair out at Jean Van de Velde’s decisions. Jean Van de Velde could have won the British Open playing 18 with his 7 iron. On 18 Jean Van de Velde hit an OK drive into the rough and the smart play was to use a wege to lay up in front of the Barry Burn, the pond guarding 18. From there he could have chipped on and even three putted for 6 and victory. Instead Jean Van de Velde took his 2 iron out of the bag. If Tiger Woods had done that his Kiwi caddy Stevie Williams would have rugby tackled Tiger Woods into the dirt, slapped him around, handed him his wedge and aimed him to the left. God helps those who help themselves. You don’t give babies in the womb methadone. It leads to them making poor decisions later in life no matter how much money they have.

Jean Van de Velde takes out his 2 iron on 18 to carry the water from the rough. His ball flies to the right, hits the grandstand, luckily bounces off the rocks in the river Barry Burn and ends up in the rough short of the burn. He just had to pitch out of the tall grass onto the green, three putt and walk away with the trophy. Van de Velde then proceeds to chunk his pitch shot into the river in front of the green. Now he rolls up his slacks into shorts, takes off his shoes and socks and goes wading into the burn. He then decides to take a drop and lying 4 can still get up and down for victory. Somehow he fluffed his chip shot into the trap. Miraculously Van de Velde exploded to within 6 feet and holed the putt for triple bogey to get into the British Open playoff.

The Scottish fans were ecstatic because the beneficiaries of this golfing embolism were American Justin Leonard and the Scotsman Paul Lawrie. Paul Lawrie then went on to win the 3 man playoff for the British Open, drawing upon the luck of the Irish and the four leaf clover in his bag. Yesterday the beneficiary of Suzann Pettersen’s last 4 hole collapse and foray into the right trees was Morgan Pressel, the little lady who had her brains blown out by Birdie Kim two years earlier at the U.S. Open. They say that in golf the luck evens out but if that were true then Greg Norman would have won at least one green jacket. Greg Norman also threw away a 6 shot Sunday Masters lead to Nick Faldo. As Yogi Berra says, “It ain’t over till it’s over” and, “If the world were perfect it wouldn’t be.”

Top 5 Reasons Why Your Sales Team Is Unproductive

Sales are a challenging task for any company, and running and managing and effective sales team is vital for your company’s bottom line. Sales are the lifeblood of any company or organization. You need sales to drive revenue and keep a steady cash flow into the company. By finding solutions for the following you

Can improve your sales team performance and increase your sales.

5. Not Asking For The Business

This is key point in any sales cycle. Great sales people know how and when to ask for the business. They need to show your company’s commitment to earning the business and be prepared to know what it takes to close the sale. By just being direct, straightforward and asking the prospect for the business can make the difference between winning and loosing a sale.

4. Inaccurate Sales Forecasting

Nothing is more frustrating for management than to have an inaccurate sales forecast. Most of the time sales people with over estimate what they will be able to close that month for a couple of reasons. Sometimes it is due to the sales rep wanting their sales pipeline to appear bigger than it really is, or because they want to look like they are doing a better job than they actually are. In order to get a better and more accurate forecast the sales rep really has to understand where they are in the sales cycle and just come and out ask the prospect when they can expect the sales to close. Sales Reps tend to guess instead of asking the prospect. Sometimes it helps if the prospect can have someone from management call or even another sales rep in order to effectively gage the sales forecast.

3. Poor Follow Up

Constant follow up with prospects will keep them engaged in the sales cycle. Even if the sale isn’t going exactly where the rep would like, it is key to keep in contact with prospect at all time. Sometimes Reps know that they might not be getting a great lead and they will tend to treat that lead as second class and not give the attention to it that it deserves. By maintaining a strict follow up policy a company can get more out of the sales pipeline. Even if a prospect isn’t buying right away, by maintaining close contact the business can often return at a latter time.

2. Not Enough Qualified Leads

This is truly a killer for any sales organization. Having a good qualified leads can keep the sales rep motivated and increase the chances of closing new business. Sales representatives often get discouraged when all they have to work with are poor qualified leads and too much time is wasted going after lower end accounts. By giving them more to work with, allows them to truly focus on those prospects that are qualified and are willing to spend the money to make the purchase. Every organization should evaluate how they are getting their leads. Often companies will attempt to give something free away such as an Ipod to increase leads. These leads are very poor and will take too much time and effort to shift through that is actually interested in the product or service versus who just wanted to win a free Ipod.

1.-Unmotivated Sales Representatives
The bottom line is that sales people are lazy. Most organizations rely to heavily on the sales reps to go out do the hard work of prospecting to find new business. Sales reps are more interested in selling and feel that is what you hired them to do. When they have to spend 70% of their time looking for leads and knocking on doors, they can’t do the follow up and truly focus on the sales cycle to close the new business that is needed to drive revenue. If they are already on a salary they tend it get too comfortable and rely just on that salary as an income. At this point most of the time they care very little if a deal is going to close because they have a guaranteed income anyways. It is important to find out what truly motivates your sales team and keep them motivated.

Is Your Website A “Billboard In The Desert”

The truth is, most of us cannot imagine the shear size of the Internet today, for example, do a search for “Business Services” and you will receive back 2.2 billion results. And that is not all; there are just as many pages that are not listed by Google, floating around in cyberspace for all types of keywords and services.

The days where you employed a web designer to create a wonderful colour catalogue of your services and watch your sales zoom into orbit went many years ago. Yet as an Ecommerce specialist I am still equally amazed to find that many businesses, if not most, still think that is the case. They need to increase sales, “lets get a website” is the answer, without any foresight of how to get visitors to that expensive Internet presence.

The reality is, only a very small percentage of those who invest in a business web presence, get back their investment. It can be compared to buying advertising space in the desert. A huge, all signing all dancing billboard campaign that no one sees, except the odd camel travelling through.

As with all business ventures, marketing is key, so why is it that most websites never benefit from any marketing. Yes your site is on your business cards, yes you registered them with the search engines, this is not even close to being a start, if you really want to benefit from the millions of web searches done every say.

The answer is first to understand how your potential customers will find you, either by researching search terms, or paying for marketing within the correct publications.
Either one of these will cost you either in time or money, but should be costed in to your initial website creation plan.

You may find out that there are just not enough people searching for your services to justify the expense. This is when you need to be creative and optimise your website for dozens of not hundreds of potential search terms. For example, if you were a plumber, there is a good chance you also, fit bathrooms, do tiling, fit kitchen sinks, fix boilers, drain water systems, unblock drains, have emergency call outs, do tender work for authorities etc, etc. These are all things that a potential customer may look for you on the Internet. Most plumbing business, would call himself or herself a plumber and that’s it, missing out on much traffic.

Search engine optimisation should be a consideration for all websites and don’t believe your web designer that they can do that for you, until you have an example of their results. You should cost all this as if it were any marketing plan and then record all results against input of money or time. This all takes time and a new website will not get good results straight away unless they are unique in the market.

The can be big rewards if you get it right, but most will not and will become part of the 2.2bn results that no one ever sees, where will you be?

It only takes one unexpected expense or income shortage to unravel your financial safety net when you’re living pay check to pay check. Luckily, finding financial security is more feasible than you think.

The big picture

There are thousands of books, websites, and classes on financial planning. However, putting all that information together, and then applying it to our lives, is like trying to solve a 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle without the picture on the front of the box. You’ll never get control of your personal finances until you see how all the elements, such as debt, taxation, spending and savings, fit together.

Debt reduction

If you feel like you’re drowning in a sea of debt, you’re not alone. According to The Federal Reserve, about half of the American population is heavily burdened by unsecured debt. Many so-called solutions, such as Consumer Credit Counseling services and bankruptcy actually make problems worse by dragging out payments and ruining credit.

If your credit card debt is out of control, consider calling a debt negotiator. Unlike Consumer Credit Counselors, debt negotiators can actually work with your creditors to reduce your debt up to 40% without affecting your credit score.

Tracking Expenses

People who accurately track their expenses discover that they are wasting, on average, $312 a month. That’s hundreds of dollars you could be using to live within your means, pay off debt, or save for your future. Keeping up with your spending habits is the first step toward seeing the big picture. To make it easier, try using personal finance tracking software to find out where every penny of your pay check is going.

Saving for a rainy day

Only 3 in every 100 Americans are financially ready for retirement. Failing to save for retirement or unexpected expenses is one of the biggest financial mistakes you can make. Many people look at savings as something they will do after they buy all the things they want and pay off all their debt. This is backward thinking.

Instead, think of the money you set aside as pay checks for the future. Pay yourself before you pay creditors, buy goods and services, or indulge your loved ones. By setting aside a percentage of income each month you can strengthen your financial safety net, while still meeting your current wants and needs.

Feeling taxed?

Most Americans are over-paying their taxes by as much as 49%. The easiest way to build wealth is to keep more of the money you already make and that means giving the IRS only what it expects when it expects it, and nothing more. A little knowledge of tax laws and tax preparation can go a long way to increasing your income.

Don’t rely on an accountant to save you money come tax time. Accountants not only charge high hourly rates but always lean toward conservatism with regard to deductions in order to avoid possible penalties for wrongfully counseling clients. This protects their pocketbook, but usually not yours.

Knowledge leads to financial power

Fight for financial freedom of many fronts, not just one. Look for financial information and resources that provide comprehensive tools that help you, track spending, reduce debt, avoid over taxation, and save for your future.

Download a free, comprehensive, e-book on financial planning today at MoneyMastery.com and secure your financial future.

Cushions Truly Make the Chair

While your outdoor furniture may be beautifully crafted out of iron or wood, beauty is not its only purpose. First and foremost, furniture must be comfortable - and that’s where cushions come into the picture. The cushions you choose for your outdoor furniture should provide the combination of both support and comfort that creates an ideal place to sit.

If you are shopping for cushions to complete an outdoor dining set, there are several factors to consider. Custom-made cushions will be able meet all of your exacting specifications. Keep in mind the following questions: Do you want the cushion to cover the seat only, or the seat and the back of the chair? Do you want the cushions to include ties to keep them in place? And, what are the precise dimensions of your chairs? To find the precise dimensions, it’s a good idea to consult the manufacturer.

Now comes the fun part - Fabric! You will find endless varieties of outdoor fabrics, but I recommend Sunbrella fabric. In my opinion, it is the superior outdoor fabric for the following reasons: Sunbrella fabric resists damage from mildew, chlorine and sunlight. These highly breathable fabrics allow cushions to dry quickly when stood on edge. Coated with a Teflon soil-and-stain-resistant finish, Sunbrella fabrics are easily cleaned.

The color and pattern you choose for your outdoor cushions are a matter of personal style, but I would suggest choosing a fabric that coordinates with the style and personality of your home and garden decor. As you survey the elements of your garden against the backdrop of your house, imagine a linear fabric as opposed to a free-flowing floral. Which would complement the setting best? Sunbrella offers an extensive line of fabric patters and styles. As you think through all the possibilities of your outdoor living area, remember the most important part is to have fun!

Yoga for Everyone

The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit root yuj, which means “to join” or “to yoke”.

Yoga is an ancient art and exercise, and an aid to self-awareness and physical well-being. Rooted in traditions that enhancing awareness of the mind, body, and spirit, yoga practices seems exotic and foreign to some–not for “them”.

It is true that yoga has been around and survived for centuries outside of the United States, in a part of the world that many Americans have little connection to or awareness of. But this amazing practice migrated to the United States, among other areas, as people began to share what yoga has brought to their lives.

Before I say any more, I want to be clear on this. Yoga is for everyone; yoga benefits anyone willing to learn and experience this practice for themselves. There are no requirements. No one has to twist themselves into a pretzel, no one has to sleep on a bed of nails.

There are different forms of yoga, each emphasizing different areas of wellness and other states of being. When practicing yoga, everyone is encouraged to pay attention to their body. If something hurts, stop or back off of the stretch. The instructor will work with individuals, usually upon request, to adjust the pose so that there is the least amount of pain and maintain the integrity of the position. So, when someone is not able to perform the postures, known as asanas, they do as much as they are able, without force, without judgment. For some it may mean using props, such as blocks, straps and blankets to prevent pain and injury–the body is supported as much as possible during practice to prevent pain. For others it means breathing and using their mind to envision their bodies performing the posture.

With practice, many people learn not to over-tax their bodies, but to simply keep the body alignment each posture requires as they move toward the pose. Yoga is not about going further or bending and stretching the farthest. Yoga is a Hindu method of learning that makes use of exercises, breathing sequences and meditation. to experience enlightenment, to connect to God, and to understand your personal mind/body connection. As an exercise, yoga often practiced by some simply as an aid to healthy living.

In short, yoga is for anyone interested in improving the health of their body, alleviate stress, or simply exercise. Anything more that is gained is up to you.

Building Websites That Cater to the Average Internet Surfer

When you begin to design your website, keep in mind the needs of the average internet website surfer. Even if you are designing your first website, you probably have been using computers and surfing the internet for quite some time, and you may have forgotten what it was like when you first began.

Computers are so commonplace it is unlikely the vast majority of people using the internet are not using a computer elsewhere in their lives, however, their competence in surfing the internet is probably somewhere in the “novice” category of users.
The average user of a computer use to be a group of people we often thought as those who understood many aspects of the computer, inside and out. With the internet reaching the homes of almost everyone, we no longer view computer users as “professionals,” but average, everyday people using computers and the internet like an everyday appliance, sort of like using a microwave or VCR. This creates situations in which you as a webmaster must learn the things you can do and might want to avoid doing on your site.

Get your website listed in search engines

One of the first and probably most important steps after you build your website is to get it listed in the search engines so the average user will indeed be able to find you quickly. You know that an average user needs only to type into the address bar the full web address of your website and your website would immediately appear. However, the average user may not know this trick, and instead of typing in the actual web address you hand out on a business card, they may type in part of the address that might end up looking something like this instead: “strawberries.com.” Average users of the internet have a difficult time it seems typing in full addresses of websites. According to reports from “Metacrawler,” some of the top search engine queries are terms like “yahoo.com,” or “google.” Therefore, work on getting your website listed with the search engines as quickly as possible. If your website name is actually “strawberriesdelight.com,” and an average user types in just “strawberries.com,” your website should at least be one in the list they eventually pull up from their query. Otherwise, the average internet user you gave a business card to may complain to you that your site came up, “could not be found.”

There are several FREE services in which you can use to submit your website to search engines. There is also professional software you can purchase to help you get your website search engine ready that you can set to submit your website automatically on a regular basis. It is recommended to submit your website to the search engines no more than once per month. Otherwise, you run the risk of “spamming” the search engines and causing your website to be banned from indexing.

Designing web pages

Keep them simple! A cluttered page with a lot of information might confuse visitors and as people search for information on the web, the average user tends to look for things as quickly as possible. Keep your web pages clean and simple. These also do better in the search engines. I see a lot of web pages on professional websites that contain so much information I get tired in just a few seconds looking at all that with a box here and a box there, small boxes of information, large boxes of information, vertical and horizontal boxes of different sizes of information and different colors everywhere. This makes for a very busy page in my opinion and one that is difficult to grasp hold of anything specific. When I reach these types of web pages, I generally just give up looking for what I am looking for and click onto another website. Dynamic looking web pages might be what some people think really sets them apart on the internet, but to the average internet surfer, I do not believe this is the case.

Pop-up advertising on your site

In general, you really need to keep these at the minimum. If you send a newsletter and this is recommended to capture e-mail addresses and to continue marketing to website visitors, one pop-up window to announce your newsletter is enough for the average internet surfer to have to deal with. Just a small box asking for an e-mail address is all you need. Be sure to let your visitors know exactly what they are signing up for, and that their e-mail address will be kept private, only used for the newsletter purpose. Stay clear of website hosting that runs ads and pop-up windows on your site. This is very unprofessional and can send your visitors off your site quicker than you would like.

In conclusion, you want to create a website that is as user friendly as possible. Keep in mind most internet surfers are “average users,” you want returning to your site over and over again. Make it easy for them to find the information, products or services you offer.

What is The Guru Slayer? After receiving a whirlwind of emails from all the big names promoting it, you are probably wondering what all the fuss on The Guru Slayer is about. There has been considerable hype on the Internet and even more buzz about the hot new release from Andrew Fox.

Much of the popularity is certainly due to the success that Andrew Fox, the author of The Guru Slayer, had with his previous releases (Dominating Clickbank and Dominating Adsense). On the other hand, The Guru Slayer claims to teach new marketers how to create their “own buzz” on the Internet, so it would appear that Andrew’s strategy is working.

When I first got word about the release of The Guru Slayer, I didn’t know what it was about and assumed it was probably a rehashed and repackaged version of one, or possibly both of Andrew’s previous ebook releases. In actuality, it is more of a system for product owners and affiliates to implement into their businesses. But given that, I still don’t think The Guru Slayer is for everyone.

The Guru Slayer is about affiliate marketing, as was Andrew’s previous product. It focuses on doing a little bit of detective work before a big launch, and keeping your ear to the ground to catch the buzz words on blogs, forums, and websites across the Internet. The Guru Slayer is similar to Dominating Clickbank in that Andrew revisits his technique of purchasing resale rights and having affiliates market the products on Clickbank.

I am of course curious on how effective the techniques in The Guru Slayer will be for the “little-guy” affiliates, the ones with little capital and a minimal to non-existent email list. According to The Guru Slayer free report that Andrew recently mailed out, he spent considerable time testing his methods with average Joe affiliates, and was able to return impressive results. But only real testing by those who decide to purchase The Guru Slayer will tell.

Before you buy The Guru Slayer, I highly suggest you read up on it and see what the word on the street is. Find out if others have experienced success with Andrew’s system, or if they think the book was mainly hype. Search out real people who have tested and are using the methods in The Guru Slayer, and don’t just rely on the promotional messages from the “gurus’ in your inbox. Visit The Guru Slayer for a more comprehensive, in depth review.

Self directed change is possible and our birthright if we understand the mechanism of our subconscious minds

One way to think of our subconscious minds is to use the analogy of a computer operation system (the OS.) The second step to my Life OpTimize philosophy is to actively peruse and understand our OS.

We develop beliefs about ourselves early in life and it develops as our sub concisions OS - and we are not aware typically that we are programming the mechanism that will assist us in navigating life.

Parts of this programming is useful and keep us out of physical danger, and some are practical (e.g. at 5″ nothing, and female I cannot expect to play in the NFL) But in most individuals are in need of reprogramming as we limit our ability to grow and reaching a peak potential,
And on a much larger scale this OS prevents us as human beings moving beyond reflex emotions such as hate, and fear.

So what is your OS? What stories does it produce?

–Bad things always happen to me.
–I will fail at business.
–This job sucks, but I can not do better.
–All men/women cheat.
–That jerk in the Lexus is better than me because his parents had money. He never had to actually work for anything.

And on and on…we go

The problem with this kind of thinking is that we activate our automatic failure mechanism (in the words of Psycho Cybernetics)

Simply put, Garbage in…Garbage out.

–Tony Robbins teaches a technique called the 10 Mental Diet. Make it a point to note how many defeatist thoughts we have and refuse to indulge them. I was profoundly influenced by this.
–History is filled with positive examples of successful individuals. Who marched to the beat of their own drum, Albert Einstein, Andrew Carnegie. Lean their stories.

Human beings ALWAYS act and feel and perform in accordance with what they IMAGINE to be TRUE about themselves and their environment.
