Foreplay – Secrets From Casanova’s Memoirs

It is highly doubtful that many people today have read the whole 4 volume autobiography of Casanova’s life.

It is after all, literature, and not in any sense pornography.

However a careful read though gives one the feeling of the 18th Century in Europe (as Casanova traveled in many countries).

His sexual conduct was limited to only 167 conquests, which by today’s standards, would rate him as an average lover in Moscow or perhaps Los Angeles.

He was, however, a master of seduction, and his techniques of foreplay, as appropriate today as it was over 200 years ago.

Planning

To say that Casanova was spontaneous in his approach to bedding women would be a mistake.
He was a careful planner, something akin to a general to an impending battle.

He would do research on the target (meaning he was a proto-psychologist), and also, carefully think ahead of ways to achieve his desired result. Most of his plans were clever, and very entertaining to read about.

Pleasing His Perspective Partner

Being Italian, and of great the great city Venice, Casanova was a master of many of the personal arts, one among them cooking.

In a tavern or home, he was very careful to either prepare his meals himself, or to supervise their preparation.

He had a few standard “pleasers” for his women, as he knew they were sure to please. They were

–Hot or cold chocolate drink. Remember, chocolate and coffee were still novel at that time

–Shell fish, especially the oyster. He was the first to write about its aphrodisiac qualities

–Sparkling wine and fruit (one might imagine strawberries).

–Always a desert with a variety of sweets presented

You can see from the list above, Casanova was ingenious in the use of foods as a tool for seduction.
Meals during that period were not delicate, but heavy with stews and soups.

Casanova would prepare (or have prepared) meals of utmost delicacy and spare no expense.

His only idea was to please his partner but catering to their basic desires, eating being one of them

During the Meal Foreplay Strategy

Casanova would measure the courses, and the meal to match his conversation and stories.

He would spark the lady’s imagination with stories from his esoteric repertoire and even indicate to them their fortunes.

His concept was to break down any conditioned responses to rejecting his advances. So, keeping the stomach full, the head light, and the mind occupied did the trick.

All this during the meal itself.

Casanova would take the meal across from the lady, but slowly he would sit closer, and by the dessert, he
and the lady were in very close company.

Closing Techniques

Closing (the word as used today as in a contract or sale) was his greatest talent. He knew the value of foreplay, and employed it in all its aspects.

The final form of finally kissing and fondling his prospective partner came after much teasing and implication.

Casanova was never rude, or crude in any way, and in his refined and elegant manner, slowly broke down the walls of the lady’s castle and entered with her complete surrender.

In Today’s World

Use of Casanova’s methods are still valid today.

Women still love to be pampered, and just seeing a man so concerned about the preparation of the meal, and its presentation is a great foreplay technique in its own right.
Try our hero’s techniques, and when you see them working, remember him fondly, as this would have pleased him greatly.

How Yoga Positions For Fertility Can Help Couples Conceive

With more and more women delaying having children until later in life, there are a growing number of couples having difficulties conceiving. From their mid thirties onwards, women’s chances of getting pregnant drop dramatically and many are turning to medical intervention to assist them in having a baby.

Trying to conceive can be a very stressful and emotional experience, particularly when it involves undergoing fertility treatment or IVF. Many doctors are now recommending women use yoga in conjunction with their medical treatment, both to assist them in de-stressing and to enhance their possibilities of becoming pregnant.

A Harvard based study found that women who were trying for a baby were three times more likely to conceive if they took fertility focussed yoga courses than those who did not. But what is it about yoga that prepares the body so well for conception and pregnancy?

As we have already mentioned, stress can be a major problems when a couple are having trouble conceiving. Stress can interfere with a woman’s menstrual cycle and delay ovulation, as well as reducing sperm production in men. The emotional release of yoga can ease stress and anxiety, enhancing a couples chances of conceiving.

This is most effective if both the male and female participate, and a couple might consider partner yoga in this situation. As well as deepening and strengthening their relationship, partner yoga can teach them how to cope together with the strain of trying for a baby.

There are numerous other ways that a fertility focussed yoga course can help a woman to conceive. In yoga the body is seen as an energy system, with a number of different areas or chakras. Certain yoga positions focus on increasing the energy flow in the second chakra, known as the seat of creation, which is where the reproductive organs can be found.

There are many yoga positions that increase energy in the second chakra. Certain restorative poses are perfect to prepare the body for conception. They can help to soften the abdominal region and remove any tension from the area of the ovaries, fallopian tubes and uterus. Reclining poses are used to elongate the abdominal region, allowing more blood flow to the reproductive organs.

There are also specific yoga positions that a woman can use after sex to increase her chances of conception. One of the most popular is a legs up the wall pose, known as Viprarita Kirani. This ensures that the sperm remain in the optimum position for fertilisation for as long as possible.

A final way that yoga can assist conception is by correcting irregular hormone levels that may be limiting fertility. Certain yoga positions can improve glandular function, which helps to normalize hormone levels.

Although nobody would claim that yoga alone can make you pregnant, following a course of fertility focussed yoga can significantly reduce the stress and emotion of trying to conceive. Used in conjunction with medical treatment, it can prepare your body and mind for pregnancy and greatly increase your chances of creating that longed for baby.

Dark Chocolate - Good For Your Heart

“I never met a chocolate I didn’t like. ” Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Aztec Indians believe that cacao seeds came from Paradise and people who ate the fruits of the cacao tree were bestowed with unusual wisdom and power. The legend probably has some truth behind it. Kuna Indians living on Panama’s San Blas islands drink more than four cups of home made cocoa per week - are not only happy, but rarely have high blood pressure or heart disease.

English traders called them cocoa beans and had to travel far to buy them. Chocolate is now readily available all over the world. Somebody once said, “Nine out of ten people like chocolate. The tenth person always lies.” Chocolate claims the distinctive title of being the most craved for food item. And some people become addicted to it. This popularity stems from its ‘feel good’ effects. Chocolate not only tastes good, but by encouraging endogenous endorphin production, it gives a feeling of pleasure. It also contains theobromine and caffeine, which are stimulants. It also has small amounts of serotonin, an antidepressant. A patient once concluded, “Chocolate is cheaper than therapy and you don’t need an appointment.”

Over the last several years, scientific publications have increasingly promulgated the cardio-protective benefits associated with eating chocolate. In the December 18, 2004 issue of the British Medical Journal, Dr Oscar H Franco from the Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, Netherlands, objectively reviewed data that eating 100 grams of antioxidant-rich dark chocolate each day reduced systolic blood pressure by 5.1 mm Hg and diastolic pressure by 1.8 mm Hg. They determined that this translated into a 21% reduction in risk of heart disease. In another study published in the Journal of Hypertension in August of 2006, Dr.Fisher noted that healthy adults who drank a flavonoid rich cocoa every day for four to six days, improved their blood vessel function. An abstract presented during the November 14, 2006 Scientific Sessions of the American Heart Association demonstrated that eating chocolate slowed clotting time. D. Grassi and his fellow researchers reported in the medical journal, Hypertension that eating dark chocolate was associated with a decrease in the bad LDL cholesterol levels as well as an improvement in insulin resistance - effects advantageous to the heart.

The healthy effects of cocoa on the cardiovascular system appear to be due to their flavonol content. These natural antioxidants improve blood vessel function by altering the body’s production of nitric oxide, which regulates the blood vessel tone. Other mechanisms may also play a role.

Arnold Ismach writes in The Darker Side of Chocolate, “All of the evil that people have thrust upon chocolate is really more deserved by milk chocolate, which is essentially contaminated. The closer you get to a pure chocolate liquor (the chocolate essence ground from roasted cacao beans) the purer it is, the more satisfying it is, the safer it is, and the healthier it is.” And this is proving to be medically true. All chocolates are not created equal. Almost half the beneficial flavonoids are destroyed during the manufacturing of standard chocolate. Most commercially available snacks are not only low in natural cocoa and flavonols but also high in calories. While dark chocolate is more expensive and may not taste as sweet as white chocolate, it is healthier. White chocolate is made with milk, and epicatechins, the heart healthy flavonols in cocoa, appear to bind to the milk proteins, rendering them less effective. Dairy products may also inhibit the body’s absorption of flavonoids from other foods.

A chocoholic once said. “I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process…. It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?” Well, medical data appears to support this. Especially when it concerns the blood vessels and the heart. So if you like chocolates, rejoice. But remember when it comes to eating chocolate, more is not necessarily better, but darker definitely is.

Your Life Is A Pot Of Gold

Are only leprechauns lucky enough to find the pot of gold? Absolutely not. You have a pot of gold right there at your fingertips. It’s your life. By taking the time to stop and look, you will notice all the riches around you and within you. Let’s go on a journey to find your pot of gold.

Finding your Treasures

Your treasures are those people, places or things that are near and dear to your heart. What’s important to you? Certainly your children or a spouse would make this list. Maybe it’s a friend that always remembers your birthday, or the Starbucks coffee girl that always brightens your day with a smile. Besides my own family, I love my church family. Anyone who shares their heart with me is held close to me. This past weekend I led a women’s retreat, and my heart was filled from all the wonderful women I met throughout the weekend. What places in your life bring you joy or peace? Maybe it’s nature, a special room in your home, or a favorite restaurant. For me, when I lay down in my bed to read and relax, I feel blessed. My bed is soft, cozy and warm. What values strike a chord with you? Perhaps it is achievement, trustworthiness, or faith. Or maybe it is creativity, companionship, or spirituality. Connect with and protect those ideals in your life and you will experience richness.

The Precious Moments

Everyday, there are moments in time that are just like pieces of gold. However, most of the time, we are too busy to capture them. Yesterday, I had many of those moments. I watched my five year old perform silly tricks with silly names on the bed. I enjoyed moments of relaxation because I gave myself the gift of a housecleaner. While shopping for medicine at the drugstore, I realized the Easter candy was out. One of my favorite candies is Robin’s eggs. I indulged and bought a bag - it only happens once a year! I marveled at my teenager’s fashion sense. He is picking out his own clothes now, and I must admit, he has sharp taste. Gone are the days of shorts and t-shirts, and me telling him, “That doesn’t match”. Now, he meticulously selects the perfect pair of cargo shorts with a matching “Apt. 9″ polo shirt. Slow down, take a look around, and savor those precious moments.

Identifying your Gifts and Talents

Other pieces of gold in your pot are all the gifts and talents you have within you. What are your strengths? Maybe you great at sewing or decorating. Perhaps you’re a great cook or you have a deep sense of empathy for people. Make a list of all the strengths and talents you have been blessed with. Stretch yourself and don’t stop until you have reached 50. Now, ask several close family members and friends to add to your list. Chances are, they will see things in yourself that you don’t. Have gratitude for your strengths and believe that your gifts and talents are just as important as anyone else’s.

Creating and Protecting Your Memories

Everyday, we have the opportunity to create special memories. We can turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary day just by focusing on creating memories. The other day, my best friend sent me pictures of her three little girls all having a tea party at home. What did it take to create this memory? It took a little imagination, a lot of love, a few moments of time, and a digital camera. My five year old loves cars! One day I had an idea that delighted him immensely! We separated all his cars (and he has a lot of cars) by type of car and then took pictures of all the different categories…emergency vehicles, pick up trucks, sports cars, race cars, etc. Time goes by so fast, and if we are not proactive about creating these special memories, you’ll miss them. So get out your creativity, a camera and a journal, and start filling your pot of gold.

Giving a Voice to Your Dreamer

As memories represent the past, your dreams represent the future. What do you dream of being or doing one day? I talk to so many moms who have lost their ability to connect with what they are passionate about. It’s not that the passions and dreams are missing - they are just buried. Maybe that critical inner voice has discouraged you from dreaming. Our dreams and passions give us hope and joy! Don’t let that part of you die. I dream of becoming a popular speaker and inspiring moms wherever I go. I dream of owning a motor home one day and traveling all around the country. I dream of writing a book one day. I am passionate about reading, singing, and personal growth. Dig deep and find your dreams and passions that are lying on the bottom of your pot of gold.

Did you find your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow or is it right there with you? Focus on and have gratitude for all the important people, places and things in your life and your life will be blessed. Slow down and savor the precious moments that slip away when you are too busy to see them. Honor your gifts, talents and strengths by seeing them for what they are. Realize your pot of gold contains all your special memories, dreams, and passions. Dig deep and pull out those pieces of gold so you can live a rich life.

Yoga Tips For Happiness Off The Yoga Mat

After spending time in a class with your Yoga teacher, for an hour or two, the commute home is much more tranquil. You left anxiety back at the door step of your Yoga class, and have discovered inner peace again. How do you capture that feeling of tranquility and “bottle it?”

Would you like to order “Yoga to go” or package some “inner peace?” If only it were that easy to package Yoga. Yet, there are some tools that will help you maintain your peace of mind, until your next Yoga class.

Music: Music, that generates relaxing and happy feelings, has the power to be particularly uplifting. Music is a great way to prevent anxiety, loneliness, and sadness. Some of the better music for Yoga can also be played when you are commuting from one point to the next.

If you shop for Yoga music CD’s, you may also want to try an audio book, in CD format, about Yoga, self-help, or self-improvement. Some of these CD’s can be played many times and can create a positive frame of mind.

Workshops: There are many Yoga, and Yoga teacher workshops to attend, so choose a workshop that sparks your motivation. You may also want to look at workshops for self-help, and holistic approaches to life, because some of these sessions will also help you create a happy and successful life.

Bathing: Take the time to enjoy a bath, instead of a quick shower; it will make you feel happy, energetic, and refreshed. Just make sure you have the time to enjoy your bath - without creating a pressure situation.

Prayer: It does not matter what your religion is. This is one of the most fundamental practices to bring happiness. Prayer is your private conversation with God. Many people pray only when they need something.

Yet, daily prayer brings happiness. Why? When you learn that God forgives, it is time to forgive yourself. Bhakti Yoga is union by devotion to God. You do not have to be a particular religion to devote yourself to God.

Yoga Books: Whenever you take a vacation, of any kind, bring at least two Yoga books, which you have wanted to read. If you have a companion, read when your significant other is sleeping. There is always time, if you are willing to be creative.

Positive Affirmations: Whenever you practice positive affirmations, you will see, and feel, the rewards. If you want self-respect, you have to think and speak well of yourself. Consider your accomplishments, and what you have done, for the people around you. Repeated positive affirmations often become reality.

Visualization: You should actually take the time to see yourself as worthy, loved, and happy. What you visualize often becomes reality.

Breathing: In Yoga, Pranayama (breathing) techniques are many. Pay attention to Pranayama practice, while you are in your Yoga classes. Many Yoga students do not learn the value of Pranayama.

Pranayama is the master of your mind. Pranayama is the fundamental link between mind and body. Pranayama will improve your health, but you should learn Pranayama from a Yoga teacher.

Kapalabhati Pranayama should be practiced daily, but Bastrika Pranayama is usually practiced daily prior to Kapalabhati Pranayama. Personally, I practice Bastrika for the first Pranayama of the day.

Meditation: There are many forms of meditation, but they all lead to the same end. Balanced thinking, harmony, and tranquility, are yours with a steady meditation practice.

You do not have to make all these changes at once, but do incorporate a few of them into your daily life, and you will be much happier.

What Determines The Price Of A Stock???

Stock prices consist of two parts, earnings value and cyclical worth. The former is intrinsically based whilst the later is market driven.

Through fundamental analysis of a stock’s earnings value the stock’s price can be expressed as a normal price/earnings ratio as well as a projected value of the likely future earnings as determined by the trend of the stock at any given time.

Through cyclical analysis the extreme variable high and low prices likely to be paid as a premium for or a discount of the future fundamental values in time can be determined.

Cycles have an uncanny knack to trough at approximately equal time periods and with further observation the skill of picking alternate high and low market price levels becomes an art all on its own.

So equal time periods measures and determines the rhythmic fluctuations of market price above and below fundamental ‘intrinsic’ values. This is the value of the force which cycles apply to advance prices above fundamental values in an upward swing and drag prices below ‘values’ in a downward swing of the cyclical rhythm.

It also involves the forecast of such rhythms into the future.

So if you combine this ability to forecast and the value of the force which cycles exert then an assessment of future probabilities of price movement can be made. Through the direction of the trend of the stock’s price as reflected by its economic healthiness and also through the direction cyclically of present and future price rhythms.

There are ways of determining the long-term trend of price by analysis of longer cycles and fundamentals.

There are ways of determining the short-term direction or trend of the stock price by analysis or the shorter cycles.

There are also ways of determining when both types of cyclical movement are likely to end and reverse in the opposite direction.

Price-cycle movements in any market originate from the rhythmic consequences of two equal but very opposite forces seeking equilibrium. The forces are the desire to buy and sell which are constantly intangible because only a small amount of the total desire reaches the market.

To measure the relative strength of both the buying and selling forces the desire, the want, the need must be transformed into an actual action which at that moment becomes buying or selling volume depending on the direction of the price movement with the two forces constantly alternating ascendancy.

At any given moment only one force can be dominant at the expense of the other if we are to establish a trend otherwise we have a sideways movement since there is only a finite number of would-be buyers and sellers.

Once you attain and master the skills combined with the knowledge of timing and the effects of fundamentals consistent profits are more likely in the stock market because you are armed with tools that allow you to ascertain the flow of the basic currents underlying stock price movements.

Personal Loans – For Diverse Monetary Requirements

Gone are the days when people used to borrow money only for vital necessities. Nowadays, people are taking loans for routine needs, convenience and indulgence too. In general, human needs can be categorised as follows:

1. Imperative charges related to surgery, extended treatments, late education fees, debt consolidation, etc.

2. Standard expenses related to home, business, health, education, career development, wedding, vacation, holiday season, vehicle, debts, bad credit, etc.

3. Lifestyle luxury payments related to spa treatment, spiritual healing, flying lessons, cosmetic surgery, gambling, etc.

Personal loans, available in both secured and unsecured form, can provide credit support for most of these expenses and any UK resident over 18 years of age can apply for them - subject to the borrower’s monetary requirement and basic credibility parameters, like past credit history, employment status and DTI ratio. Personal loan sub-types: Secured personal loans: Suitable only for homeowners and property owners, these loans are availed by pledging collateral Unsecured personal loans: Suitable for all - tenants, homeowners, property owners and students - these loans are availed without pledging collateral.

Advantages: Secured personal loans - quick attention, high credit limit, competitive low APR, flexible payback terms and negotiable clauses Unsecured personal loans - no deposit against the loan amount, less official formalities, fast loan processing, and no immediate risks in the event of repeated defaults or non repayment .

Disadvantages: Secured personal loans - collateral seizure (in case of repeated defaults or non-payment) and slow approval process (due to time-consuming property evaluation procedure)

Unsecured personal loans - limited amount, high APR, fixed payback terms, non-negotiable loan clauses .

As both personal loan sub-types have pros and cons, loan seekers must decide on the basis of - monetary requirement and urgency; capability or willingness to pledge collateral; and APR and other loan benefits. Some of the most saleable personal loan products in the UK credit bazaar are bad credit loans, business loans, car loans, career development loans, cosmetic surgery loans, debt consolidation loans, education loans, holiday loans, homeowner loans, home improvement loans and wedding loans.
