Why You Should ONLY Approach Groups of Women

Let’s be honest here…

Approaching women in any situation is tough for guys!

And it’s even harder when they’re with their friends!

That’s why a lot of men wait till a woman is alone before approaching her.

The problem is many women never leave their friends. In fact they often travel everywhere with their group (even to the bathroom).

As a result, it’s really hard to get a woman one alone to talk to her. In addition, when a woman is alone, she tends to distrust any guy who approaches her.

So you have to learn how to approach women when they’re with their friends!

Here’s how to do it…

When you see an attractive woman with her friends, you should approach the group and engage them in a conversation. Even if you’re interested in one particular girl, focus on talking to the group and engaging all of them in a conversation or story.

The best way to do this is ask an opinion from the group and try to get them into a dialogue.

Your main objective when approaching a group of women is to get them to like you. Then after they’ve warmed to your presence, you can then shift your focus to isolating the objection of your attention.

An easy way to do this is to say something like: “Can I borrow {her name} for a couple of minutes. I promise to bring her back.”

Then you bring her to a different area, and start working on your rapport and attraction building skills.

I know you might be one of the guys who might be terrified to approach a group of women. But if you practice what I described in this tip, you’ll find it’s fairly easier to approach women and win them over!

Can You Predict What Your Internet Business Will Do The Rest Of The Year

We are over 25% of the way through 2007 and internet marketing is proving again to be changing and moving along a break neck pace. Certainly guessing what the search engines will do next is becoming clearer than it was even a few months ago.

Google still seems to be the leader of the pack with Yahoo, MSN and the others still lagging behind. So when you look at what you are doing with your website and blog you have to consider the question, “what will Google think about this?”

Google is working harder everyday to provide search results that are relevant to what the searcher is looking for. Therefore it only makes sense that for your site or blog to rank high on Google you need pages that are relevant. That means the words on each page must relate in some way to the keyword you are optimizing it for.

Websites that were built primarily to spam search engines and make a quick buck with programs like Google Adsense have fallen by the wayside. A quality website is now built for the long term and the new buzzword I see more and more is “authority site.”

An authority website is built around hundreds, and perhaps even thousands, of keywords phrases. Many of these are phrases where the searcher is typing in 4, 5, 6, or more words into the search box. These are called long tail keywords and authority sites are optimizing their web pages and blog posts to target phrases like this.

It is interesting that another search engine term that is going by the wayside is keyword density. Search engines no longer care if 2% or 5% of the words on a page are a variation of the primary and secondary keyword the page or blog post is built around. Now they just want to see that the words you are using make sense and are not just there to manipulate the search engines to rank your pages high. This is known as Latent Semantic Indexing or LSI for short.

Search engine marketing is now a piece of a larger puzzle that includes social marketing, article marketing, forum marketing, as well as paid advertising. Although the search engines still provide a high number of visitors to websites that develop themselves into authority sites webmasters are finding they can quickly get traffic to even a brand new site.

This is achieved by providing quality information in a blog and then creating a viral marketing effect through pinging and relevant social networks. You can and still optimize each blog posts for the search engines, but do not rely solely on them to get you traffic.

So to answer the question can you predict what your business will do the rest of the year the answer is yes you can. If you create a broad base of advertising methods that are built around blogging, and social networking, you can develop an authority site in virtually any market that will pay you for years and years to come.

How to Lose Money on the Internet - Do As the Hack Writer Does

Most of we Internet business folks like losing money on the Internet. If we didn’t lose money all the time, we would be out of business. Yes, over ninety percent of we Internet business folk-lose money. It’s just part of our business and we can’t expect others- like our wives-to understand that.

Oh, some take the fun out of Internet business by actually making money. These effete snobs are called gurus. I know all of the gurus (well, not personally) and they all know me. They have MY money.

I’m what they call a sucker. P.T. Barnum said that there is a sucker born every minute. I’m sure he was and still is right on that point.

Being an educator, I must make sure all of my readers know what I mean by “effete snob” rather than just “snob.” Effete means that the guru works in pajamas, if he works at all, and could care less about you or me as long as we stay on his mailing list. The guru’s mailing list is his gold mine.

I’m not an Internet guru so if you do what I do you will keep losing money for sure. I do whatever the gurus tell me.

Yes, the Internet gurus teach the rest of us how to get rich by having an Internet business. In fact, other than porn, teaching folks how to make money on the Internet is the way to make money on the Internet. Here is what I have learned from the gurus:

Don’t Quit Your Day Job

Yes, after the guru tells you that you will be living on your own island with your yacht as long as a football field in the harbor and an Lamborghini and a BMW in the garage, they say: DON’T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB!

The gurus give good advice and this is particularly good advice. However, I didn’t have a day job to quit so I ignored it and that is probably exactly why I’m not making much money to speak of on the internet to this day.

Get Rich Selling My Product

That’s right. The guru will tell you that you can get in business in a few minutes selling his product. This is called the guru’s affiliate program. He may call you a partner or associate but its all the same. It cost you nothing to join an affiliate program because, in my experience, that is about what it is worth. Let’s say the guru signs up 10,000 affiliates. He now has a mailing list of 10,000 folks he can sell to.

Also, let’s say that the guru is selling a product worth $97.00. He pays a commission of $48.50. If his 10,000 affiliates sell 1500 folks his program, they will receive $72,750.00 to split between them. Using the 90% loser rule, $65,475.00 will be split between 1000 affiliates for an average of $654.75. The other 9000 affiliates will average about 81¢.

The above analysis sounds exactly right to me. I think that is about what I average-81¢.

Now, it is not over. The guru receives the same amount of money as his affiliates. If he is selling an ebook that is downloaded, it is all gravy. Yes, he gets $72,750.00! But that is not all. He has added another 1500 names on his mailing list and some of those will become affiliates AND CUSTOMERS.

Now what else does he sell these folks? Well, it goes like this for some gurus. You will remember that he is selling the “How To Get Rich on the Internet” message. If you do as you are told and do as he does, that is, you copy the guru, you will need the stuff to do that. Here’s a partial list:

●-Web site design program
●-Web hosting account
●-Mail handling program
●-Affiliate program software
●-Personal consulting
●-BMW
●-Lamborghini
●-Yacht

There is no end to the products that he will try to sell to his mailing list, not only his own products but also the products of other gurus. He gets first choice on new products and immediately emails his list.

When a guru reports on his web site, “I earned $36,785.42 in only 36 hours,” he means it. He just sent a new product sales pitch to his mailing list.

In the mean time, you are trying to sell his product too. You put up an ad using Google AdWords and lo and be hold you learn that your main competitor is guess who? Your guru! He can afford more advertising cost than you can because he makes twice as much as you do on each sale.

The Guru always wins!

You can win too but it will cost you money. You must put up the investment to become a guru.

Develop Products for a Niche Market

This is good advice and the gurus know what they are talking about. That is how some of them got started. Cory Rudl was a guru of gurus. Corey Died in May of 2005 while racing his Porsche (as passenger, not driver). That was a sad day for those of us in “the business.” It was especially traumatic for his new bride, God bless her.

Cory started his Internet business in Canada and he sold an ebook on buying cars and parts for certain desirable automobiles.

Cars were his passion. But he soon leaned that he could make more money selling his knowledge of Internet Marketing.

He sold some of the products I mentioned above.

(His company is the Internet Marketing Center which is now operated by another guru named Derek Gehl. It is fortunate that a qualified person like Derek was able to continue the operations. I’m an affiliate signed up by Corey Rudl. I know Derek loves me because he writes to me almost every day. I’m on the list!
Look at the sales letter at http://tinyurl.com/yudz6g to see how this gurus operates.)

I have been involved in two niche market Internet businesses. The first, my son’s, is successful: http://www.irishflutestore.com The second is too early to tell but I think it may be a flop if I don’t design and produce an additional product. I’m giving away a free .pdf file but it may be the only thing that people need to solve their problem. They are not buying the product. I’ve hit the market by telling all of my industry work associates and associations worldwide about it and by using AdWords-but no sales. The site is http://www.ceramicdefects.com

The gurus say to expect failures. You have to keep trying new things and evaluating the performance by testing, testing, testing. Traffic is a problem. I have successfully sold money-making-books by advertising my web site (http://www.money-making-books.com) in national magazines. However, the profit margin was too low to warrant my continued efforts. You need to write your own books or ebooks to make it big!

Well, I’ve got to get out of here. I’ve got some more testing to do.

The End

Selling Yourself

Did you ever wonder why you have a problem selling your products or recruiting members into your business? Maybe it isn’t your selling technique at all. Maybe it isn’t that the person didn’t like your product or business. Maybe it isn’t the fact that the person “doesn’t have time”.

Maybe it is the lack of confidence you feel in yourself that you can actually achieve the goals you set forth for yourself in your business. Although you may be able to tell yourself that you believe in yourself and are ready to get out there and get things rolling, are you emitting the positive attitude and confidence to all you meet? Do you truly believe that you CAN build your business or are you just going through the motions of telling yourself that right before you approach a prospect for the purpose of face value?

The problem with this is that people tend to be able to see through a false sense of security and detect the doubt that lies beneath. Once they unveil this doubt that you have in yourself, they tend to inherit some of that doubt themselves.

Ask yourself this question….. “If I do not believe in myself, how can I ask others to believe in me”? In order for you to succeed in life you must believe in yourself and “expect” to achieve. Once you start replacing the word “if” with the word “when” more often in your vocabulary, you will begin to see a change in your attitude and the response of others.

Try to replace “IF I reach this goal or that” with “WHEN I reach this goal or that”. You will be surprised at how much such a small thing can impact your thinking! Granted, the habit is hard to break after a lifetime of IF’s. When you catch yourself using that word in a business goal, stop and correct yourself. That will make it easier to break the habit altogether.

When you approach a prospect, stranger or friend, look them in the eye and let them see that you are confident and honest about what you are doing. Once you begin to “fix” the inner you and start believing in yourself, you will start to see the outer you begin to blossom and prosper.

Competition, Envy & Jealousy Among Women

You’re too fat or too skinny; your breasts are too big or too small; your hair is the wrong color, style or length; you would be cute if… bottom line no matter what you do, you are not good enough to keep the man in your life or attract a new one. This is the message that the mass media bombard women with on a daily basis. When a woman dresses explicitly it is for the purpose of gaining admiration and attention from both men and women.

If the large, impersonal social structure is telling women that they must constantly compete with each other, you can imagine the psychological damage this causes at the smaller, personal social structure in female relationships with close friends and family. Most women are not intimidated by movie celebrities, playboy centerfolds and print media super models because they don’t have physical access to their male partner. But when your friends and family show a bit too much skin it can be a daunting task to pretend that the man in your life did not see their cleavage in the two-sizes-too-small blouse. Many of us are shocked when friends betray friends on the talk shows; by admitting that they slept with their best friend’s boyfriend or husband. Unfortunately, this happens more often than women are willing to admit to.

As a counseling psychologist working with women, I have discovered that one of the indirect causes of why women are disloyal to each other is based on self-hatred and low self-esteem more so than the need to hurt other women. In therapy sessions women have revealed that the reason that they slept with their friend’s or relative’s husband or boyfriend was not because the man was particularly appealing, but because of what the woman who had him represented. Therefore in essence sleeping with another woman’s male partner was a way of indirectly possessing the qualities of the woman that the friend admired.

All names have been changed

Sonia, 33: “My relationship with my sister-in-law is putting a strain on the entire family. I hate her because my husband, her brother, is always bragging to me about how pretty and smart she is. I was so tired of hearing that sh–!” When she went on a business trip for two weeks, I asked her husband to sleep with me. His big mouth told the entire family. I denied it, but no one believed me. I got four kids and I dropped out of high school. I envy my sister in-law for getting a college education and not having a bunch of kids. Sometimes I just wonder what it feels like to be her. Her stomach is flat, she got the cutest shape. I figured that if I could get her man, then that means I am just as smart as she is.”

Belinda, 28: “A female friend said to me about our mutual friend Tammy, ‘We shouldn’t even set our sights on the same type of man that Tammy attracts. Her body is slammin,’ she can’t get nothing but lawyers and doctors. With the way our fat asses look, we should be lucky if he got a job.’ That hurt me so much. I can’t believe that she said that to me. I love Tammy, but I couldn’t help wondering if she thought she was better than me. Yep, I slept with her, boyfriend. I had to. I had to prove to myself that I am just as good as she is. I don’t know why she even bothers to sleep with him, he was a terrible lover, but I am an even worst friend.”

Doreen, 24: “Your friend buys a dress that you love. Right? She knows that you love that dress, but you can’t wear it because your stomach is too big. Fine. Whenever, we go shopping and see the same pair of shoes that we want to buy; You guessed it, it’s always in her size and not mine. She just got promoted. I am happy for her, you know what I am saying. If somebody had an ice-cream cone and was always licking it in front of your face, talking about how good it is, wouldn’t you just want to try it one time? I’ll will never look like Sabrina in a dress, I can accept the fact that I wasn’t made that way. When we are together people are always looking at her. But when I made love to her boyfriend, I pretended that I was her because I wanted to feel as beautiful as Sabrina. I hate myself for what I did because she was my only friend. But I finally got to get something that I thought that only she could have.”

When a woman buys into the social belief that her worth is attached to her physical appearance, she overlooks the true beauty that lies in the substance of her character. Becoming sexually involved with a friend’s male partner is a tool of destruction that perpetuates an energy of competition and self-loathing amongst women. A woman emotionally exploits and rapes another woman by becoming sexually intimate with her male partner. Loyalty, trust, honesty, integrity, faithfulness, and honor are psychological boundaries that solidify healthy relationships with our selves and other.

Reach Your Potential to Grow and Thrive

It was a beautiful day in May when my eight-year old daughter brought a tiny oak tree home from school. The Missouri Department of Conservation had provided a sapling for each of her classmates.

She could not contain her excitement as she exclaimed, “Look Dad, I’ve got an oak tree for you! Can we plant it in our yard? Can we plant it tonight?”

The oak was almost three feet tall. Its tiny roots were wrapped in a moist plastic bag, and small pink and green buds covered its trunk.

That evening, we took the tree out to the front yard and found the perfect spot to plant it. I said, “Let’s take some pictures of the new tree so we can remember how small it was and see how much it grows each year. Then, let’s get it into the ground as quickly as we
can.”

I photographed the tiny tree with its roots wrapped in plastic. Then we dug a hole, carefully untangled the delicate roots, placed soil around them, mulched the topsoil around the trunk, and gave the tree some water. I photographed the newly planted tree again.

Small green leaves are now covering the little oak tree. After giving it a bucket of water, we admired the way it had started to grow. We took another picture of the tree with its first leaves.

I pointed to the top of another oak in view over a hill to the west. “Look,” I said. “There’s the top of our old oak tree by the railroad track. If God is willing for your new oak tree to live through all of our windy storms and dry summers, it will grow just as tall. But, we’ll need to give it lots of water, especially this summer. Someday, you might look up toward the top of this tree too. Do you know why?” I asked.

That night, I wrote in my journal…

To my dear daughter,

You were beginning to understand some important ideas. With the most beautiful smile and the brightest eyes, you looked up at me and replied, “Because we loved it and planted it soon enough so it could live!”

New dreams are much like unplanted saplings. Alive with the potential for magnificent growth, their roots wait for nourishment. Too often, however, their tiny buds dry up and die before we give their roots a chance to touch the soil.

We admire dreams in our minds, photograph them with our hearts, and fail to nourish them with the first requirement of all dreams realized. That is, we must get them out and into the soil of our daily lives; we must plant with the expectation for growth.

Like a tiny oak, a great dream will often have the potential to grow and thrive long past our own life spans. Yet, it needs more than our admiration and good intentions; it needs our hearts to cherish it and our hands to get it growing.

When a storm breaks a branch, a dream will need our continued love, care, and commitment to keep it growing and thriving. Do we simply rip off the torn branches of a cherished dream? Even worse, do we pull a dream from the soil, leaving it to die? Do we continue to damage our own resiliency because, by habit, we run away each time a certain type of problem appears?

No, not if we are authentic. We might rest, but we will eventually return to our truest dreams, knowing we will be welcomed. We will realize that there will always be winds to strengthen us; there will always be hurts to teach us to heal and forgive.

We learn that if we are to move forward, we must begin to understand storms as well as our own mistakes. Like oaks sprouting new leaves, we are all in the process of creation and growth. It is a law of life and an unavoidable life lesson.

A sapling will grow stronger amidst the winds, and it will grow to its fullest potential; yet, as people, we must choose to grow. English novelist, George Eliot, wrote, “The strongest principle of growth lies in the human choice”.

In storms, we can find blessings that we would not think to search for on sunny days. We can nurture torn limbs and grow new limbs when some are lost. We can continue to provide the love and care necessary for our dreams to grow–as long as we keep the roots in the soil.

In so doing, we, as well as our dreams, can grow as tall as our potential allows, reaching as high as our Creator intended for us to reach, bringing the legacy of our gifts to future generations.

Do You Know Anyone With BDSI Disease?

Chances are if you are around many people at all, you are associated with someone who has BDSI Disease. This stands for Big Dreams Small Initiative Disease.

Many of us know someone who dream of all the things you see in the movies…big houses, yachts, travels, fancy cars, the works. But very few people have the initiative that it takes to make the changes in their lives that are required to achieve their dreams. They just assume that they have to come into some inheritance or win a lottery in order to achieve their dreams.

What they are missing is the knowledge to find the right business vessle to carry them through to those dreams. Along with the right business, they also need the initiative that it takes to make a plan and take action to achieve what they want from life.

Most people are in a dead-end J.O.B. that is doing nothing but getting them by paycheck to paycheck and making their bosses rich. What they fail to ask themselves is how their bosses came to be in the positions they hold. Most of them didn’t inherit these positions and most didn’t win lotteries to get there. Most of the successful business owners saw a dream, wrote out a plan and took the necessary action to achieve their goals. Some of them may even have a minimal investment in their businesses but have built from the ground up without a lot of debt.

This happened because they did research on their business to find the necessary information that they needed to build a successful business. Three key factors they had to explore was

1) Marketability- was their product or service marketable and what was the size of their target market?

2) Profitability- was their a good profit margin in their product or services and was this profit ongoing or temporary? And

3) Stability- would this product or service remain stable through the future and was there room for continual growth?

There are other factors but these were 3 of the most important factors they had to accomplish before becoming successful. They did not sit around a table just talking about how they dreamed of starting a business and what they wanted to accomplish just to go home and return to their every day J.O.B. for that week - to - week paycheck.

Many people do this in their daily lives without even realizing it. People love to dream but when approached with an opportunity to achieve their dreams, they refuse to take the necessary action to make it happen. This is what I refer to as the BDSI Disease because it is easy to dream but it isn’t so easy to have that initiative that it takes to reach your dreams.

If you have dreams, you should be open to that opportunity that will be your vessle to achieve them. And most of all, once you find the right opportunity, have that initiative that it takes to use that opportunity to its fullest to reach your goals. If you are open to opportunities, you can do the research needed to determine if it is the right business for you and if so, then act on it and put your best effort into building it toward success. Just remember in order to cure the BDSI Disease all you have to do is apply the R.P.A. (research, plan, act) rule. Write down your goals, both short term as well as long term and figure out what you need to do to reach those goals and write that list. Then highlight each one as you achieve it. You will be surprised how much this will boost your initiative and keep you pushing for those goals.

Don’t just sit back and talk about your dreams! Get out there and make them happen. Then, teach others how they can do the same in their lives. If you teach enough people to be successful, you, in turn, will also be successful in your life.

Play Can Work

Play can work
Don’t be a jerk
All boring and about
Never ending business
A stoic stick in the mud
Interpersonally a dud
Unable to deeply connect
Incapable of communicating
Your employees alienating
Bound in fearful isolation
There cannot be igenuity
Neither profound inspiration
A paycheck is the height
Of their personal satisfaction
Contained and thwarted
The people cannot breathe
Hence neither do they believe
Dare to break the mold and do
Because they must answer to
The masters of the universe
The fear factory’s father
No employees are treated
Like loving sons or daughters
Forget the family concept
No corporate endearment
Productivity over people
Just give us the numbers
Meet our expectations
Deadlines and accomplish
Keep quiet, don’t diminish
The elder higher ups
Those who really
Should be made to shut-up
To wholeheartedly listen
To those down below
Who are really in the know
Lighten up on the load
Not work, the tension
For where we’re uptight
There cannot be creation
Only feeble adherence
No spontaneous brilliance
No creative combustion
No synergistic adhesion
Heartfelt communication
Just rough abrasion
Pushing over people
En route to the destination
The corporate goal
Forget that we’re not whole
Our joy you have stole
Can’t discuss the game
Not even the Super Bowl
Lord yourselves over us
Scrutinize our every move
Nitpick everything we do
Put us under the microscope
Break us down until we
Ourselves cannot cope
Than we shall awake
Be wise and get a clue
That it is time to leave you!
Big boss learn right now
That unless you change
Alter your irritable ways
Let we the people play
Along with our workday
Otherwise your company
And you will perish one day.

Self Improvement – The Human Design Solution

Desire to Change

If you stop and look around at how much material is available for self improvement, you can’t help but realize that a lot of people want to be better. This is because, as humans, we have an innate and very powerful desire to change.

Many of us aren’t content to just be because we have this underlying sense that there is more to life than what we are experiencing.

New Systems

Life is getting more complex, more competitive and more diverse. In the past, belief systems were the glue that held us together. Today those belief systems are losing some of their strength. We live in a new world that requires new systems. We need systems that will help us change so we can move with greater freedom. We need systems that will empower us to succeed in navigating new levels of complexity so we can meet new challenges with calm confidence.

In order to do that we need to be very clear about our own uniqueness and especially about how we are designed to interact with others.

Becoming

Fortunately humans are designed to be able to do that. We have the innate capacity to “become“. Becoming is an active process of discovery. In a sense it means to “actively participate in your own ongoing creation”.

What we have to learn is how to “become“, as a process, not as a goal.

Self Awareness

Self awareness is an important step in the process because it slows down your reaction to the world providing you with a chance to be conscious. In the language of self transformation, to be conscious is to act with the knowledge that you know that you are acting.

When we are conscious we have a tiny window of opportunity where we can behave differently than we usually do. On the physical level of our neurology we literally have the ability to stop our own behavior and make a substitution.

Manifest Change

This little window doesn’t stay open for very long which means that when you recognize it you have to be able to act very quickly, because you don’t have time to try and decide which behavior you want to substitute. And, if you want truly to change, you have to be able to act differently, to substitute a different behavior.

No amount of thinking is going to bring about any actual change. You must act in order to change.

Right Now

I’m talking here about acting right in the heat of the moment, in the very heart of the now, where everything moves along so very quickly. We rarely have the luxury of pondering what we are going to do in the now, we just do. So we have to be prepared with some idea in mind of what the substitute behavior is going to be.

We have to have in mind what we are becoming. The easiest way to do this is to discover your own individual design and align with it.

Yourself

I look around and I see that there are lots of people telling us what we want to become and usually they are saying we should become like them. OK, fair enough, maybe we should. But then again maybe I should live my own design and become myself and you should live your own design and become yourself.

It’s been my experience that it’s more satisfying to be myself then it is to be somebody else. I’d rather make my mistakes than yours.

Discovery

In the past it’s generally been a long, slow and difficult endeavor to discover yourself sufficiently well enough to really participate in your own processes. We are, after all, very complex and there’s a lot to sift through to determine what is ours and what isn’t.

However, like everything else in our world this too has changed in the past 20 years. Today we can tap into our individual design very quickly.

The Power of the Subconscious Mind

For many years now it has been widely accepted that we all have two states of mind, the conscious and the sub-conscious. While these two states of mind are similar, in real life they are worlds apart. Take the simple everyday things that we do without even giving them a thought. Things like breathing, walking, talking and the beating of our hearts, are all handled by the sub-conscious mind. The conscious mind deals with the everyday decisions that we make each day, we use it keep up with the world and what’s going on around us.

The sub-conscious mind has been likened to a bicycle and a Mack truck, both means of transport but so totally different. While the conscious mind has a great deal to do so we think, the sub-conscious takes all it’s load in its stride. The latter being so powerful you would think it would be the best to work with, however in reality it is very hard to work with. The sub-conscious mind never forgets anything, every word you have ever spoken, every thought you have ever had is all recorded in its memory banks. This is a good thing for us as it can be persuaded to recall certain things in life that we have forgotten altogether. Hypnotism is the one vehicle that has proved very successful in dealing with this state of mind.

Other vehicles have been discovered, but as yet they have to be proven to work as well or better than hypnosis, one of those being subliminal messaging. Subliminal messaging involves words or pictures flashed to the mind at such speeds, that we fail to register them in the conscious state. If this is indeed effective it can be used to bring about massive changes in a persons makeup. One of the ways that subliminal messaging has been claimed to work, is with what we call audio messaging, and is accomplished by words and affirmations recorded onto another audio track such as music. We are unaware of these messages because they have been recorded below the conscious minds ability to hear, the sub-conscious mind on the other hand can distinguish these messages at this very low volume.

It has been said for many years that all that is required is to bombard the sub-conscious mind with positive affirmation. The belief is that the sub-conscious mind does not differentiate between positive and negative, it will act on either in an equal fashion. This being the case, it would seem to suggest that making positive affirmations would be the best avenue to follow.

I have studied hypnotism for a number of years now and have always been amazed at the changes that can be brought about in a therapeutic session. Stage hypnotism is a form of entertainment without having as many long lasting effects as the clinical form. I have found that the person undergoing the hypnotic treatment in a clinical environment has a better result and very often recovers completely. These same results are yet to be proved with the subliminal approach; although I believe there is a lot of evidence that points to fact that this might also be the case. Of course in the real world this would certainly be a dramatic discovery, having so much to offer the individual concerned.

Imagine just listening to our favorite music and being healed of whatever ails us. By this I mean, we could cure all sorts of things from stopping smoking to losing weight. Yes it would be a wonderful thing. I believe the reason the subliminal tapes, Compact disks and computer programs are not being very effective is one reason and one reason alone. I have found that the hypnotized person, me included actually sees it like it was actually taking place, it is very real. This being the case the subconscious mind believes it to be real as well and acts accordingly.

The old saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” has a lot of merit, when we think we think in pictures why is this? I believe because that it the way to influence the sub-conscious mind, and as such just any old affirmation good or bad does not carry any great belt behind it. No we need to impress our sub-conscious mind with pictures; the clearer and more detailed the better. When we can do that through the use of tapes and Compact disks the nearer we will be to making subliminal messaging work the same as hypnotism.

I do believe that if we could all make our own subliminal mediums, we may have better results, why? Because I also believe we are the only ones that can put enough passion into our voices to create the picture in our minds eye, to make it work. With that being the case I am working on a system that will let the user do just that. It is still in the planning stage, but I believe it will work.
