Aim In Life

Do we need having an aim in life?
Majority feels we must have one.
A life without an aim is considered to be a life without any proper direction to it.
But then, why do we need a direction in our life?
You say, a life without any direction to it is a life gone astray. It simply wastes itself.
I ask what is the guarantee that a life with direction will NOT waste itself?
You argue that an aim acts like an anchor that does not let it go astray and waste itself.
But how are you so sure that going astray amounts to wasting only?
You say it wastes time.

I ask you utility of time.
You say it leads to the aim if properly utilized.
I question the validity of your very aim.
We are back to the same square one again!
Then the question arises, who has decided what the direction is to be!
You say everyone decides it for her/his own self differently, individually.
I get confused.
Are you really giving this much freedom to an individual that he is free to choose any damn aim in her/his life whatsoever he desires to?
You go cautious now. You do no want to see another Hitler on earth again!
You come up with a set of conditions that describe what an aim should be like.
But I may not like those conditions.
You brand me a rebel and force me to conform to those conditions.
I have five options now.

First, I conform and do what you say, and have a traditional purpose in my life.
I turn a conformist then.

Second, I do not oppose you but do not agree with you too. I declare a traditional purpose in my life but do not honestly act on it in order to achieve the same. Even my stealthy actions, at times, may go against my purpose, in the hiding; whether knowingly or unawares of me.
I turn a wo/man without a spine, with a mind that has double standards inside.
Majority falls under this category.

Third, I revolt against your set of conditions and choose my direction in their violation.
You rebuke me for that and I react against you, and we both are at daggers drawn!
Criminals, geniuses, scientists, artists, and mentally disturbed persons fall under this category.

Fourth, I turn a revolutionary and publicize my new set of conditions. People side with me and I turn either the new mainstream or an entirely new side-stream offering a whole new pattern of targets in life.
Social, political and religious leaders fall under this category.

Fifth, I turn a visionary and question the entire gamut of there being a need for having a predefined blueprint at all, raising basic questions concerning the validity of the way humans live their life in an uncreative way.

You cannot categorize such persons. They are indefinable. They simply refuse to be fitted in any preconceived notion.

I do not know which option I am going to choose, but I must question the basic dynamics of living life with a direction in it.
What happens when our eyes are there at the target?
Target is only there in the mind and not in the sight!
They simply miss what is there in their vicinity.
They serve mind more than they serve the brain.
Mind deals with illusions.
Brain deals with facts.

Purpose makes us centered in the future in the dreams of it.
Reality gets badly neglected.
We turn a blind eye to the present.
The direction that the purpose equips us with becomes our limitation.
We are no more left free to wander into the domains of our curiosity.
Without curiosity there is no creativity.
Without creativity there is no quality.
The quality of life suffers miserably.

This is what following-aims-blindly does to our life!
But then, is wandering not the waste of time?
Let it be!

That is what the investment into creativity is!
New directions will only be sought when old ones are said goodbye to!
The only precaution to be taken is that the NEW does not become our limitation too.
Only a life without a blueprint can search for new vistas in the domain of human experience on earth.

Moreover no aim is its own discipline in itself.
The energy of creativity imbibes it with that!
It is the joy of creativity that the curiosity generates into it, and which turns into the energy of action that the person with no aim works with!
S/he never gets tired.

But, alas, the person with a target in life keeps waiting for the weekend in order to fill her/his morose life with some thrill that her/his life is so miserably missing in it.
And s/he rushes toward Thank God It Is Friday!
But no-aim never waits for a Sunday.

It is everyday a Sunday for it, and a very creative Sunday for that matter!
This is what the discipline of no discipline is!

How to Make Homemade Dog Food on a Budget

Some dog owners want to feed their dog the healthiest food possible, but are hesitant to make their own home made dog food, but they are hesitant to because of the cost. This doesn’t have to be the case. Home made dog food can cost whatever you decide. Here are three home made dog food cost saving tips:

1. Consider the meat you are using. The simplest solution is to look for what is on sale at the grocery store and make dog food around this. If turkey is on sale this week, go with that for your dog. If ground beef is cheaper, go with that. It is actually good to mix up the meat in your dog’s food. Doing so will give your dog more variety.

2. Think about buying in bulk. You may be able to reduce the cost of your home made dog food by buying in bulk. Consider shopping at a warehouse store where you can buy and freeze a few extra pounds of meat or vegetables. Saving a few cents per pound can add up very quickly.

3. Be creative. Did you make a little too much rice for dinner last night? Are there a few extra pieces of bread that you are not going to eat? If so, work those extras into your home made dog food. It is often overlooked, but the ingredients in food for people are very similar to the ingredients in dog food. Take advantage of this to make the most of your budget.

Those three tips will help you to make home made dog food on a budget. When you make home made dog food, you will know what your dog is eating. You will have a happier and healthier dog and you will be able to rest easier, knowing that you have done the best possible things for your dog.

Visit Thailand

Thailand, formerly known as Siam, is a country of southeast Asia on the Gulf of Thailand (formerly the Gulf of Siam), an arm of the South China Sea. Bangkok is the capital and the largest city. Population: 59,396,000. Standard Thai is the national and official language of Thailand and the mother tongue of the Thai people, Thailand’s dominant ethnic group. Thai comes from the Tai group of the Tai-Kadai language family. The Tai-Kadai languages are thought to have originated in southern China. It is a tonal and analytic language. The combination of tonality, a complex orthography, relational markers and a distinctive phonology can make Thai difficult to learn for those who do not already speak a related language. In addition to Standard Thai also known as Central Thai or Siamese, which is the official language of Thailand, it is home to other related Tai languages and many of these languages are spoken by larger numbers outside of Thailand. Most speakers of dialects and minority languages speak Standard Thai as well, since it is the language used in schools and universities all across the kingdom.

Standard Thai is composed of several distinct forms for different social contexts. Street Thai, which is informal and without polite terms of address. Elegant Thai, which is the official and written version, and includes respectful terms of address. Rhetorical Thai which is used for public speaking. Religious Thai which is heavily influenced by Sanskrit and Pāli used when discussing Buddhism or addressing monks. Royal Thai which is used when addressing members of the royal family.

How to Prepare Homemade Dog Food

Preparing home made dog food is actually easier than you might think. While you may not realize it, many of the ingredients used in dog food are the same ingredients found in the food that people eat. What goes in to preparing home made dog food? Here’s a simple outline:

Ground meat and ground turkey are two basic meats that can be the core of what you feed your dog. Ground meat and ground turkey are easily bought at any grocery store. Choose what’s best for your budget and what’s best for your dog. The turkey is usually easier for your dog to digest. But you may want to mix it up a little so that your dog doesn’t get bored with the same old food all the time.

What other ingredients should you add? Well, it’s much like cooking for a person. Green vegetables are always a good option. You can add raw vegetables in with the raw meat or you can add cooked vegetables in after you have cooked the meat. You may already know what vegetables your dog likes based on what you find left in his bowl or based on what your dog takes from around the house.

Other ingredients can include just about anything. Rice is a popular filler, which is fine for your dog to eat. You may also consider cubed bread or even some ground up vitamins.

Whatever you choose to include in your home made dog food, you will know that you will soon have a healthier dog. Take some time to experiment. Learn what your dog likes. Try out new recipes and play with the recipes you already know. Home made dog food is better for your dog, can save you some money, and may also provide you with some extra time to bond with your pooch!

Body Contouring After Massive Weight Loss- Latest Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Trends

Morbid obesity is a new epidemic afflicting nearly one third of all those in Southern California, including Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. One of the most effective ways for permanent weight loss has been through “bariatric” surgery, including gastric bypass and gastric banding.

Having successfully battled obesity, these people are now faced with a new challenge – excessive and hanging skin folds of the abdomen, arms, thighs, breasts, and face. Thinking that once they lose their massive weight they will be attractive again, men and women are disappointed and frustrated with unsightly folds of skin that now cover their groin like an apron, hang off their arms like “bat wings,” and wiggle from their legs when trying to jog. It also creates a problem for personal hygiene and in finding clothes that fit.

This challenge has led to the development of new ways of body contouring; specially designed for individuals after massive weight loss surgery. An experienced Beverly Hills plastic surgeon can help to determine if this procedure is right for you.

The most common post-bariatric body contouring plastic surgery in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills is a tummy tuck, or “abdominoplasty.” These are not standard tummy tucks, but rather extensive or “high tension” tummy tucks designed to also lift the sagging hips and thighs, while tightening the loose abdominal wall muscles. A more extensive form of this tummy tuck is called a body lift or belt lipectomy, which removes the excess skin of the abdominal fold as well as that from the back; resulting in a greater lift of the sagging buttocks and the thighs. Panniculectomy is a more specific form of a tummy tuck selected for those with extremely large, heavy, and hanging abdominal pannus.
Often, obesity results in the over-stretching and weakening of the abdominal wall, which produces a ventral hernia. This and other types of hernias can also be repaired at the time of a tummy tuck or body lift. The cost of a body lift in Los Angeles is approximately $16,000 to $28,000.
The second most common body contouring procedure in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills after massive weight loss is breast lift surgery and breast reduction surgery. These procedures are not limited to women, because men also develop hanging breast/chest folds after weight loss. In women, an inverted-T or anchor mastopexy is used. (Only a skilled Los Angeles breast augmentation specialist should perform this surgery)

Often breast implants are added to replenish the lost breast volume. This procedure is, at times, combined with an upper body lift which removes the excess skin folds of the upper torso that extends to the upper back. Breast reduction surgery for post-weight loss male patients has a different aim and design. Its goal is to create a flat and masculine chest. Breast reduction for men typically causes a scar that falls in the under-breast fold as well as around the areola. It can also be combined with an upper body lift or a brachioplasty. The cost of breast lift surgery in Beverly Hills or Los Angeles is approximately $ 8,500 to $16,000.

The third most common body contouring surgery in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills following massive weight loss is brachioplasty. Brachioplasty, or an “arm tuck,” removes excess hanging skin of the upper arms. In its extended form, it also removes the redundant skin folds of the outer chest and the axilla or the armpit. The cost of brachioplasty in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills is approximately $6,500 to $12,000.

The fourth most prevalent post-bariatric plastic surgery procedure in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills is a thigh lift. Thigh lifts address the excess skin folds of the inner or medial thighs, that of the outer or lateral thighs, or that of the entire thigh. It can be rather extensive, reaching along the entire length of the thighs and legs. The cost of thigh lift in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills is approximately $12,000 to $20,000.

Finally, the least common plastic surgery procedure performed as a result of massive weight loss is a facelift. This is due to the fact that people gain relatively far less weight in their face that their body. Therefore, after massive weight loss there is relatively less loose skin of the face, as there would be on the other areas of the body. Nevertheless, patients have less loose facial skin, hanging neck folds, jowls, and cheeks after weight loss. A variety of facial cosmetic surgeries including neck lift, facelift, mid-face lift, or a forehead lift can address problems associated with sagging facial skin, accordingly.

In planning for body contouring procedures after massive weight loss, special attention has to be given for optimizing safety and minimizing potential complications. These types of procedures that are rather lengthy, complicated, and are performed on patients that might have other associated risk factors such as sleep apnea, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, venous insufficiency, malnutrition, etc. These patients need to be medically optimized and cleared by an internist, pulmonologist, or a cardiologist prior to surgery. Furthermore, the surgical facility must be equipped and staffed to provide specialized care for such surgeries, as well as to provide extended post-surgical monitored care.

Dr. Sean Younai is a board certified Los Angeles plastic surgery specialist with formal training in plastic & reconstructive surgery, as well as general surgery at some of the most prestigious university residencies in the United States. Pay Attention To What Your Dog Eats

Does your dog ever go into the yard and eat something you wish he didn’t? Maybe it’s a plant or a tree branch or even some stray trash that made it’s way into your yard. My guess is that you don’t like it when your dog eats those things. But if your dog eats ordinary, processed dog food, your dog probably eats things that are worse than what is in your yard each and every day.

Ordinary store-bought dog food often contains cheap ingredients, unhealthy filler, and unhealthy preservatives. Unless you are a veterinarian or a food scientist, it is likely for you to pronounce all of the ingredients that are in your dog’s food.

That’s a scary thought, isn’t it? What, exactly, are you putting into your dog’s body? When you can’t make sense of the list of ingredients, it’s hard to say.

So what can you do about it? You can make dog food at home. Homemade dog food is healthier and probably tastes better too. When you make dog food at home you know what is in it. You know how fresh it is. By spending a little time up front to research recipes and to prepare the food, you will have a healthier and a happier dog (you will probably save some money too).

Be cautious about buying ordinary dog food. Read the packaging carefully and get an understanding of what exactly is in the food you are buying for your dog. If you are not comfortable with the food choices available for your dog, you should consider home made dog food.

Improve Your Dog’s Health - Homemade Dog Food

Your dog will live a longer and healthier life if you feed him (or her) right. While processed food that you buy at the store is often the easiest option, it is not best for your dog. Spend some time learning about home made dog food and you will have a healthier, happier dog.

There are three types of dog food: basic, store bought foods, premium, store bought foods, and home made dog food. Basic, store bought foods are the most common. This is what you will find in virtually every grocery store, drug store, and convenience store. While these foods are widely available, they are also typically made with cheap ingredients and often contain unhealthy fillers.

Premium, store bought foods are a significant step up (particularly the brands that you can buy from your veterinarian). However, the downside to these foods is that they are considerably more expensive, which puts them out of many people’s budgets. Also frustrating about premium dog food is that in some cases the ingredients are no different from the basic, store bought foods. Essentially you end up paying for a brand name, which supposedly gives you peace of mind. Ignore the brand name and pay attention to the ingredients.

The best way to ensure your piece of mind is to feed your dog home made dog food. Yes, this will take some time as you will need to prepare your food. But the benefit is that you will know what you are feeding your dog, which helps to ensure your dog’s health. An added benefit is that you will likely save money.

Many options are available to you for dog food. Traditional store bought foods present many dangers, mainly because of inexpensive ingredients and fillers used. You can avoid these cheap ingredients and fillers by making your own home made dog food.

Aggressive and Assertive - You Can’t Be Both

During a girl’s high school finals basketball game, I heard some spectators talking about the youngest player. “She’s so aggressive for a small player.” Another said, “She jumps so high when rebounding, and comes down with the ball.” One watcher must have been to the previous play-off game. He said, “She was high-scorer in the last game. What do you think makes her so good? She’s aggressive and fun to watch.”

Aggressive or assertive? Confident or angry? What motivates superior performance? What separates the one from the many?

With two minutes and thirty-seven seconds left to the last quarter of the game, our team was losing by 7 points. A win means a day-off from school since the championship game is played at the TDBankNorth Garden in Boston on Monday.

In the last minutes, the youngest player, praised at the beginning of the game, punched an opposing player. Sheer frustration, assertion or anger? Probably sheer frustration and disappointment tainted by aggression. Our youngest player and her teammates did homework Monday night.

Obviously, aggressive behavior instigates disappointment and consequence. The “ref” gave the leading team an automatic two-point penalty shot. With seconds on the clock, the team with 6 players (only one “sub”) celebrated. No school on Monday; they were headed to the Boston TDBankNorth Garden. Tuesday morning on page one, above-the-fold, the Boston Globe Sports section proclaimed their divisional championship victory, A remarkable achievement for an inner-city school with six young women who defeated challengers on and off the basketball court.

Aggressive reactions most-often muster harm. Assertive actions express confidence and skill. One may indulge anger while the other excites affirmation. Anger may win occasionally; assertion wins without exception. Oh, you won’t win every debate, athletic event, or sales pitch; you will attain confidence and encouragement.

Our life narratives nurture assertion:

*Mom loves me

*Dad loves me

*I had permission to share my opinions

*I had permission to test my talents

*Mom and Dad loved me

If all of us lived assertively, would the world play the game better? Would each player demonstrate skillful technique making the game-of-life more interesting?

My anecdotal experience teaches me that assertion is the inverted euphemism for confidence. Sounds better when we say, “She’s confident” in place of “She’s assertive.” Just the same, assertive behavior springs from the court of confidence. Moments of aggression may occur, but practice and tutoring hones technique and discipline.

So, just where do you acquire these confidence skills? It all starts with Mom and Dad. If they fail at it, someone else will coach you. Of course, acknowledging your need for confidence precedes the possibilities. Once you accept the need, watch people show-up to help you.

So, how do I know parents matter? Well, it is axiomatic. Everyone knows it. When a parent shatters or stifles their child’s confidence with abuse, angry acts of aggression often play-out in their child’s life.

A friend said, “My Dad criticized me, but I know my Mom and Dad adored me.” Not many children describe their parents affection as adoration. Is my friend assertive? Although inherently shy, he travels, writes, and lives his strengths repeatedly and successfully.

What do you do if Mom and Dad, for whatever reasons, misread or ignored Dr. Spock? You forget the past; drop resentment, and work out your own confidence. These beliefs may help.

First: You matter, therefore love yourself.

Second: Others matter, therefore express love.

Third: You have talents. Identify and live your talents.

Fourth: Knowing your talents, write your purpose or mission. How come you’re here?

Fifth: Set goals and tasks to fulfill your purpose or mission.

Undermined or undeveloped confidence can be restored, encouraged, and developed. Every skill takes repetition and effort. Sometimes it’s just plain, ordinary, perpetual practice. Get it right during practice, and you’ll perform instinctively during the game.

Your life and what you do matter. Take steps to assert yourself. Identify family, friends, and a coaches who care about you. With their help, acknowledge your talents. Set goals based on your talents. Write your life mission, and greet each day with a passion to fulfill your purpose or mission. You matter; your contributions matter, and your happiness matters.

Why every Coach Needs a Business Plan

So why does every coach need a business plan? I can hear your objections ringing in my ears right now! ‘Who me!’ ‘I don’t need any outside financing, why would I bother with a business plan for my coaching practice’. ‘I haven’t got the time to write a coaching business plan’. ‘It’s all in my head, why would I want to go to the hassle of writing it down?’ ‘I already have a practice, I know where I’m going, I don’t need a coaching business plan’. ‘A waste of time, effort and money, a coaching business plan is not worth the paper it’s written on’.

Sadly, you are wrong. You do need a plan for you coaching business. It doesn’t necessarily need to be the ‘all singing, all dancing’ version but you do need some sort of plan so you (at the very least) know where you are going with your coaching business. Let me tell you why……..
First of all let’s get the horror stories out of the way. I’m sure you know by now that in excess of 50% of all small businesses will fail within their first 3 years. There are no corresponding figures for the coaching profession specifically but anecdotal evidence would suggest that the failure rate is certainly not better than the average, indeed many coaching businesses never get off the ground in the first place.

There has been much research into the causes of such high failure rates and it is true that a proportion of business failures are caused by factors outside the control of the owner. But in the majority of cases, failure is caused by factors that could have been foreseen and managed. Peter Cochrane (ConceptLabs) cheerily writes ‘the question isn’t why they fail so often, more by what miracle any survive!’ He goes on to site the key reasons that businesses fold: failure to identify and quantify an opportunity;failure to identify the customer and market; failure to search out the competition and assess risk; failure to address funding and financials. And finally, failure to draw up a plan. And guess what, all of the aforementioned omissions could have been addressed by the last - if only there had been a business plan!

Enough of the doom and gloom! Now for the good news. Drawing up your coaching business plan need not be arduous, tedious and costly. It can actually be quite easy; you probably do have much of it in your head already, you just need to pull it all together. And you can do it yourself, now you have me to help you either by following the guidance that will be published in this blog or using me as a one-to-one business planning coach. Trust me on the ‘easy’ and the ‘diy’ for now (more in a moment), but if you need further convincing, just take a look at the benefits of having a coaching business plan:

• You get to see the big picture: your business with all its components, aligned with the rest of your life. You get the opportunity to stand back
• You clearly define your vision, your mission, your philosophy and your ethics and align these with your personal values and beliefs
• You focus right in on defining your product, your market, your client
• You set yourself measurable outcomes, for which you are accountable
• You have a step by step strategy along a timeline, for meeting those goals
• You now have a focus for your time and energy, which makes you more efficient
• You begin to address the risks, the ‘what can go wrongs’ and anticipate how you can overcome them, from limiting beliefs and skills gaps to lack of clients and financial issues

• You can see whether it is financially viable from the outset, and at milestones along the way
• You identify a business model that works for you: work life balance, nature of client, sales and marketing modes

Here’s a thought. As coaches what do we get our clients to do fundamentally, at the start of the coaching process? Well - set goals, of course. And what do we encourage them to do as a key component of achieving their goals? Yep, write them down. (Remember the research: only 3% of the population write down their goals and those that do are five times more likely to achieve them). But back to coaching business plans. You’ll see where I’m going on this. That’s all a business plan really is: a set of goals, in writing, with more or less detail on the means of achieving. Are we coaches walking the talk here? How many of us have written down our business goals as a starter?

That’s a very simple definition of a business plan. You can’t get much more painless than that! Now to flesh it out a little, here are the fundamental features of a business plan :

• In writing
• Has a goal
• Has a plan to get you from where you are now to where you want to be
• Has some kind of performance measurement (likely to be the numbers bit)
• Its dynamic. To be useful it will change over time: as circumstances change, you will need to ‘course correct’

• It will be unique to you

If you want the fully monty contents list for your coaching business plan, click here. But actually before you get hit by the overwhelm again, just take these 4 questions below and address them to give you the guts of your coaching business plan:

• Exactly what is your product
• Who are you selling it to

• How can you be sure that they want it
• How much will it cost you to provide. How much will you sell it for.. Will that make you enough money?

Remember this: having a business plan is a significant indicator of a successful business. Only 25% of small businesses will have a business plan. Which group do you want to be in?

Learn How To Get Rid Of Man Boobs

How can a man control the world around him when he can’t control his own obesity — the situation becomes worse when a man thinks about “how to get rid of man boobs”, as obesity signifies a negative reaction from the beholder. Imagine what reaction boobs of a man or “moobs”, will bring. The simple answer is “disgusting” or maybe something more than this. Now, the question here arises of how to get rid of man boobs which have become embarassing for that person. Before we can discuss the remedy we need to look at the causes which have brought this predicament to man.

Causes of Man Boobs

If we make a detailed look on the causes of man’s boobs, there are two major causes which we will find.

Being Overweight

The first and very apparent cause of boobs on man’s body is being fat. Yes, man has developed some fatty tissues which are stacked on the pectoral muscles. This fatness which appears in the shape of boobs has been mainly caused by eating fat-enriched foods. The cure which could be suggested for this particular cause will be an all-encompassing means for reduction of whole body’s weight.

How can I get rid of man boobs and huge reservoirs of fat from the body? You will require a prudent strategy which will involve a stringent control on dietary intake, training, workout program and patience.

Hormonal Disturbance

The second major cause behind man boobs is a medical state which is known as gynecomastia. Gynecomastia is basically a hormonal disruption where, instead of producing testosterone (male sex hormone formed in the testicles), the body produces estrogen (sex hormone that develop female characteristics). This stage can occur in a man’s life as a reaction to certain medicines which can change the hormonal level of body. Another cause of hormonal disturbance could be a testicular tumor. The question arises that knowing this is the case, how can I get rid of man boobs? The best answer could be found from a medical practitioner and usually they prescribe anti-estrogen medications or surgery can also be carried out.

Some Useful Tips To Remove Fatness

Mostly fatty people are ridiculed by others and they are constantly looking for ways to get rid of man boobs. Sometimes it becomes so despressing that it really leaves a negative influence on a fat person. In order to melt these vast deposit of fats from one’s body, some useful tips are stated below:

Diet

A person should be very scrupulous in their diet, they should craft a chart dating, naming and quantifying all those contents that they will take in their breakfast, lunches and dinners. The usage of fat-contained food should be reduced.

Strength Training

Strength training means the training, which could harden the muscles of one’s body, that constricts one’s muscle by removing fat from them. Here help can be sought from magazines, books, television channels and instructors.

Aerobic Exercise
