For sports enthusiasts, there’s nothing more exciting than sports people playing their favourite game. The sight of the field, rink or golf course initiates the thrill and anticipation. This, combined with digital photography, can provide some amazing photographic opportunities. However it’s not a matter of point the camera at the person diving for the ball or puck and snapping away. It’s a lot more complicated than that.

In digital photography sports can be quite challenging. The sports people do not present an easy task of being photographed because of the amount of high movement. However, you can indeed achieve great sports digital photography. Most excellent sports digital photography requires good planning and execution.

Here are some exclusive tips for gaining fantastic sports shots in your digital photography.

First things first; know your digital camera. I recommend taking note and practicing first all the settings that sports photography needed. You may find yourself going for the faster shutter speed, increased ISO and burst mode. Let’s take a look at all these things on your digital camera and see how they can be applied to give you sensational sports photos.

High shutter speeds:
As with all moving objects, in order to capture the “frozen in time” look in digital photography a fast shutter speed is required. The faster the movement the fast the shutter speed will need to be. In digital photography the general consensus is that the shutter speed needs to be faster than that of the subject. For example if you have a sliding puck across ice and there is a someone about to take a dive for it then its necessary to quickly mentally assess how fast that person might be traveling at. If they are traveling at approximately 50 kilometers (approx 32 miles) per hour then you may find a very fast shutter speed is needed for this digital photo.

A very fast shutter speed in digital photography may be anything from 500th of a second or higher. For high speed movement you may want to consider an even faster shutter speed of 1000th of a second or something in that range.

Keep in mind that in digital photography a fast shutter speed works to reduce some of the light which is why a higher ISO is often necessary. (I’ll talk about that in a minute.) Usually a if a ball, such as a baseball going at around 145 kilometers an hour (90.09 miles per hour) a shutter speed of around 1/4000 will get you that “suspended ball in mid air” type of photo. For physical movement, such as someone leaping to catch a football, a shutter speed of 1/500 or over is a good place to start.

Now this is all very well if your scene if well lit. But what if you are taking your digital photography shots indoors at night and the light is not quite enough to provide enough light? In most instances, an indoor stadium at night time will be well lit, but that doesn’t always ensure good digital photos. In sports photography we need to understand that we can only control the artistic value and input of our digital photo and the control of the camera. We can’t control the lighting on the scene being such a public event. In digital photography sports photos we must realize that it’s going to be a challenge to begin with. So here are something’s you can in your digital sports photography to increase the amount of light.

If you have a light tool on your digital camera such as a histogram you can get a good idea of what the light levels are like on your sensor. With this handy tool you can adjust the ISO at the time of your pictures taking.

Increase your ISO: A high ISO in digital photography simply means the sensitivity to light that your digital camera has. In a nutshell the more ISO you have increased the image to, the less light the sensor needs. In sports photography an ISO of 400 or higher can work really well. The downside to this is that it does increase noise. To combat this you can use noise reduction software in the post editing process such as Noise Ninja or increase the LAB mode in the post editing process. Don’t be afraid to try a few shots at 400, 800 and even as high as 1600.

Burst mode:
In most sports digital photography this will be one of the settings you will turn to. Burst mode is also known as ‘continuous shooting’. This ‘continuous’ shooting mode allows you to get a sequence of shoots in succession. You can increase your chances of getting that ideal “split second perfect shot” that you might not be able to get by pre-emption or in normal shooting. This also works so beautifully if your digital camera has a painfully long lag time. I’ve used this so many times to get around the high lag my Sony Cyber shot has got. Some cameras have 3 frames per second and some go up to 12 frames per second. You simply select this mode and hold your finger on the shutter button and it will fire off as many shots in 1 second as it can.

Okay so I’ve been talking about your digital camera and the setting’s used for ideal sports digital photography, so what about any external equipment? If you have been thinking about this you’re spot on. You can take as much time with your settings but there’s not much point if you can’t get close to the action. There’s no point having a picture with perfect lighting and perfect action if the players are like dots on a sheet of paper. You need a good telephoto lens if you can’t get close up. A telephoto lens brings you closer because of its long distance capability. It will get you closer to the action but will need a faster shutter speed.

Many fantastic sports digital photos are taken with an emphasis on a very fast shutter speed, an f stop of around the 2.8 mark to blur the background and focus in on the subject. You may find that if your sportsperson is visually separated from the background and you take the digital photograph with a telephoto lens you’ll have a more shallow depth of field which can give you a more powerful feeling in your digital photo. You can get away with a good optical zoom lens, but you’ll get far better digital sports shots with a proper telephoto.

So what about the artistic side of sports photography with your digital camera? Plenty!

Pre-emption and Emotion is the key to good art.
When taking sports photography you probably won’t find a more public display of human emotion. The emotions of a sports person range from intense anticipation to extreme disappointment or extreme exhilaration. Pre-empting when these emotions take place is they key to getting artistic and impressive sports photos. This comes with practicing your digital photography.

SO much pressure is placed on our athletes, expecting them to perform so we can enjoy the show and the investors can enjoy their returns. This is another reason why I say to get a telephoto lens so you can capture the emotions on their faces and their body language. It makes for superb photography. For ideas on ice hockey, have a look at some ice hockey images that are great study tools.

Don’t just look at these digital photos, you must study them. Take on the attitude that studying sports photography will improve your digital sports photos ten fold. You will have a style to emulate and copy to start with then eventually, when you become confident, you’ll start to adopt your own style.

Happy shooting,

Every person who loves games has their favorites. But not all games are addicting games - even those considered classics, like Monopoly. I’m a die-hard fan of addicting games - those that you’ll stay up playing until the wee hours of the morning, or those that get worn out from so much use. My choices for the five most addicting games of all time might not be yours, but if you haven’t played them in awhile, give them a try - you may be pleasantly surprised!

Board Games

Of the classics, Scrabble will always be in my top ten. I love words, and although I’d never make it to the Scrabble championships, I get enormous satisfaction out of coming up with clever words. Sometimes the tiles just won’t cooperate, but I’ve been known to sacrifice points for the sheer pleasure of placing a clever word on the board.

Again, because I’m such a fan of words, I love the game Taboo. It’s a totally addicting game for four players where you have to get your partner to say a certain word without uttering that word - or any form of it - yourself. It’s an enormous challenge, but one that’s an absolute hoot!

Another truly addicting game is called Therapy. It’s one of those unique board games you need to play with people you know - or people you’d like to get to know a lot better! Each player has his or her own couch, and each player has to answer trivia questions about different life stages that are based on psychological research. When you land in a “therapy” space, you’re “in therapy” with the player who owns the space. He or she has to predict how you’d answer a personality question. If your answers match, you’re out of therapy; if they don’t, you have to stay for another session. It’s both hilarious and insightful!

Card Games

I find many types of card games addictive - from hearts to rummy to pinochle - but as far as specialty card games go, I’ll choose Uno every time. My family actually has a much-anticipated Uno tournament every Fourth of July. I love the way alliances quickly change, depending upon who is on the verge of going out, and the utter desperation you feel when you have a fistful of cards.

My second choice of specialty card game would be Uno’s cousin, Skip-Bo. It’s a great kid’s game for the whole family, since anyone who can count up to 12 can play it. It’s been great watching it dawn on my son that there’s a strategy to the game, and seeing him hold back cards so that he could play a greater number of cards in his next turn. When we go to my sister’s house to visit, we all play for hours at a time.

Other Games and Puzzles

I haven’t included any video games or jigsaw puzzles in my personal list of the most addicting games of all time, but they very well may be included in your list. Whatever your personal favorites, but all means, play often and play well!

Many years ago, there was a colourful character who used to meet the excited punters on their way to the top race meeting of the day with the cry, “I’ve got a horse!” Needing the inside information he professed to supply, or perhaps just happy to give him a few shillings for the fun of it-after all, he might know the next winner-you often had to queue to purchase his tips, because Prince Monululu was never short of customers.

The more experienced punter and those who had already been bitten by his useless information too many times, would scurry past the self-proclaimed prince and purchase race cards and form sheets, and then make an informed decision regarding the horse with the best chance of winning.

They reasoned that if he really had good information he would not tell the world, and so lower its price and his potential winnings, but instead he would mortgage his house, sell his car, and even take a job to raise money in order bet on his sure thing!

Today, a multitude of his successors are sending me hundreds of e-mails each day, with masses of valuable information that they guarantee is going to make me massive profits every week for little outlay and absolutely no effort. Furthermore, these generous people not only reduce the selling price of this indispensable knowledge but also include dozens of extra products and eBooks for no extra charge.

Sadly, and at great cost, I slowly learned that the vast majority of these products were as useless as Prince Monululu’s racing tips, which usually came in at the rear of the field. Furthermore, and once again just like the racing tips, I found that the so-called invaluable information was simply a re-packaging of facts that are not only freely available throughout the Internet, but frequently supplied together with ‘how-to-use’ data sheets.

What these modern glib tipsters do is wrap up re-cycled information, make it read like a secret that nobody else (except lucky me, of course) knows about, and present it together with so many ‘genuine’ testimonials, free gifts, guarantees, and proofs of earnings that I can only assume it must be true. I part with my hard-earned money, download 18-20 pages of stuff I found for free on Google only the day before, and delete yet another eBook just as the hapless punters threw away the prince’s useless tips a generation before.

So, now that I am more informed and far less gullible, the next time I receive an e-mail that says, “…everybody else paid $297…but you can have it for a fraction of this price…”, or “…a blow-out sale…”, and even “…10 secret ways to trebly my profits…”, I shall simply delete it without reading further.

But, maybe the next one really is winner…

Having covered the essential Top 6, it is now time to look at the next 6 which are important but can be treated more flexibly:

7. Acceptance: Are you living your life constantly trying to please someone else, wearing only what they suggest, dressing only to please them, seeking their approval daily? Then you are not being accepted for who you are in your relationship. One main offshoot of that is you are likely to constantly feel inadequate and not being able to do anything right. You will feel controlled and impotent to do things or behave in a way which reflect your desires and what you want to do. Worst of all, your growth will be retarded because you need someone else’s permission for doing the basic things which give you joy. For example, if you like wearing bright colours but are living with someone who hates bright colours, then you made the wrong choice because your personality will always feel repressed. Anyone who wants you must like you, warts and all. Otherwise there will be little of the next attribute: respect.

8. Respect: This is a key value but the reason why it is in the second group is because one cannot be certain there is proper respect until some time has elapsed because anyone will do anything to please in the first few days or weeks. The real person gradually reveals themself over many weeks or months. However, respect is assumed if the top 6 are in place, unless they’re not, which suggests very little respect. Hidden within the value of respect is courtesy and sensitivity. I loathe discourteous behaviour in others simply because I learnt from a young age that “Courtesy costs nothing. Give generously.” Often it is not the actual things we say or do which really upsets someone, but the discourteous and insensitive manner in which they are done.

When a relationship is on the rocks, respect is one of the first casualties to go. It is difficult to respect partners when we feel resentful towards them or we are frustrated and hurt by their behaviour. For some people, respect will be right at the top, but my reasoning for putting it much lower is that someone can respect me highly but, if none of the top values are present, no amount of respect will let me love them. That is why many potential love affairs stay on a friendship level because the bottom group of values might be present between two people, but without the top ones there to bolster them and move them into the ‘love’ territory.

9. Being Tactile: This is another beautiful word many people love to use without quite knowing what it means. But if you have never used it before it is perfect for describing the tangible and external elements of being in love. To be tactile means you love to hold someone, to hug them, to draw them close, to be emotionally expressive with them, no matter where you are at that moment in time. You find it hard to keep your hands to yourself with your partner - a wonderful expression of love. Some people don’t like too much touching but I wouldn’t go near anyone who doesn’t want to hold or hug because I am a natural hugger. I love to be embraced and also like people who are romantic. When we make the extra effort to show people we care about them, they are likely to make the effort to return that compliment.

10 Generosity: This value is not just associated with money. Generosity involves giving of the self, whatever we have, including our love and feelings, to another. People who are mean with things tend to be mean with themself and their emotions too, what I call the ‘emotionally constipated types’. There is no place for selfishness in a relationship. People come together to share, not to remain the same way as when they were single. If that is the case why bother with a relationship at all? That’s just using the other person. A desire to share and be supportive is at the heart of generosity. If your loved one won’t support your dreams, aspirations or achievements, that is not a foundation for any long-term relationship. Soon resentment will creep in and erode all the love.

11. Encouragement: Do you feel encouraged by your partner? Often jealousy and insecurity prevent us from supporting and encouraging our spouses. Yet, any partnership should lay the foundation for a mutual journey together where the couple can achieve far more than they would have done as single people. When we choose not to support our partners, what are we actually saying about ourselves and our feelings of worth? Again, if we expect encouragement but give none, what message are we giving to our lovers about their own growth and fulfilment? Perhaps encouragement matters to you so much, it would be in your top 6. That is fine. However, if it is essential to you, then teaming up with someone who is mean with praise or encouragement will be like a nightmare for you because you will always feel unappreciated and undervalued, one of the biggest causes of unhappiness in relationships.

12. Non-Controlling: I tend to attract controllers, for some reason, so all the key men in my life have scored highly on controlling behaviour. There is always some control when one party is passive, or is seeking approval, but too much control tends to spill over into restrictiveness, repression and ultimately violence. The more flexible and relaxed a partner is, the lesser the desire to control which makes for greater equality and respect between the couple. One test for the level of control in a relationship is this question: How do you feel if your partner talks about his/her former lovers/partners? If you feel at all jealous, when they are in the past and are a crucial part of your lover’s history, that is a form of insecurity and control. As long as you are not being compared unfavourably, that’s fine.

Every person we have ever had in our life, for whatever reason, has taught us something and helped to make us what we are. To then deny their presence in our life, or deliberately ignore their part of our journey, merely to please someone else is not very good to the health of a relationship, because it is tied up with Acceptance and Respect. We cannot accept someone or respect them, if we want them to reject the people they know or pretend they did not exist. So long as they are not still rivals, people should be encouraged to celebrate their past, to be proud of it, to learn from it and move on, not to be made to feel guilty or ashamed of it. That only erodes personal confidence and self-esteem. Worse still it is a denial of that person’s existence into what we would like it to be.

Your score out of 120 is a pointer to the current state of your relationship, especially what is missing from it. Anything over 90 points is very good. Under 90 and you are in shaky ground and need to take remedial action. Under 50 points, and if you are not heading for the divorce courts already, sad to say, it could just be a matter of time because too many things you both care about would be missing. The most fascinating exercise is to do the rating separately, according to your individual perceptions, and then exchange notes afterwards. I guarantee that, if things are not too wonderful in the relationship, you will both need a referee!!

Do ever find yourself making wishful statements like-

Someday I’m going to get this place organized.

or the ever hopeful

One of these days I’m going to straighten up that garage.

or even the pessimistic-

No point in cleaning that out till the kids leave home.

If you’ve ever uttered one of these phrases, chances are pretty good you’re living in a time-clutter continuum. You see, people who live in a time-clutter continuum are slightly out of phase with the rest of the world. A small variance in their personal time line makes them perceive clutter as a time-related problem. In their minds, the amount of clutter they live in is always greater than the amount of time they have to organize it.

Now, to those of us who are not affected by the phase variance, it appears to be a straightforward case of procrastination. In order to compensate for the difference in time lines, a slipstream of constant reminders to the affected individual is the most effective solution. No, it’s not nagging. A clutterer needs to have someone pushing, tracking, and energizing them. This is what keeps the clutterer on course for an eventual epiphany. Your constant barrage of nagging reminders will eventually register as an anomaly that must be investigated.

It’s impossible to predict when it will happen, but just as sonic boom precedes an object breaking the sound barrier, a crisis will surely precede the epiphany. It may be a missed deadline at work due to lost paperwork. It may be a child left stranded somewhere because of an unread note. Whatever the cause, be prepared for the fallout. The clutterer’s lack of organizational skills combined with your barrage of reminders has to pay off. Someday when you’re least expecting it, the time-clutter continuum will close.

I was flicking thru some on line business building sites recently when, at one site, I learned that an unusually gifted 17th century man by the name of Athanasius Kircher is considered by many to be the last living person to have a total command of all available knowledge.

Apart from his self evident genius, a goodly part of that distinction derives from the fact that the total knowledge base at that time was extremely small.

And now we live in a very, very different world. The total knowledge base is beyond any real comprehension.

Just think about the untold millions of computers world wide and the amount of information stored globally. Whole libraries of Academia, Government Departments and Agencies, plus all the material in the commercial and private interest world!

Every field of science is expanding so rapidly that we have specialists within specialties. In fact some specialists keep learning more and more about less and less as they narrow down on very specific lines of knowledge. Eventually they end up knowing absolutely everything about nothing. LOL!!

As Oscar Wilde said, “I like talking about nothing. It is the only subject about which I know anything!” :-)

On the other hand, those who do NOT specialize, learn less and less about more and more until they know nothing about absolutely everything. Do you know anyone in that category? :-)

The same thing has happened in a less disciplined way in the world of Internet Home Business Ideas and Opportunities.
As the world becomes more “cyberised” millions of people continue to join the net each year. Many are looking for an opportunity to make money. It’s such a huge pool that we do find some rather large sharks having a feeding frenzy on those who are lower in the food chain. (See our article ‘Grab the money and run - with home business opportunities’)

One of the best defences is to improve and expand our knowledge of Internet Home Business Ideas and Opportunities and the various strategies and types of businesses. Whilst we cannot possibly have total command of all of the available knowledge, we should keep reading and reading.

In the interim, what is the best course for a “newbie” to follow? After all, if there is an interest in making money on line, can you really afford to wait while you grow your knowledge of the market and the various strategies and options.

There are several different approaches according tour own particular temperament and the time available. If you are strictly the “goes it alone” type, then you will spend the next twelve months or more reading, researching and reading yet more again. You may eventually solve the riddle. Alternatively there is a distinct danger that your hopes and aspirations will be diluted by both the staggering amount of information and the time needed to get a sound disciplined grasp of the subject.

Most experienced hands will advise not to make the mistake, though, of trying to understand everything known to man about home based on line business development before you do anything!!

Stop to think about this for a moment: When falling in love, do you stop to find out everything you can about being in love, or do you simply jump off the cliff and build your parachute on the way down?

The best benefits come from earning as we learn.

There are some really very good packages available which allow a novice to start from scratch and to build a business with step by step guidance and tuition. In fact, there are more than just a handful of excellent on line business programs and money making concepts.

Some of the online strategies that work are MLMs ( Multi Level Marketing), Niche Marketing, Mall Marketing or Affiliate Marketing, Private Label Rights(PLR), Traffic Generation Programs and sites that are set up mainly to carry what is known as pay per click (PPC) advertising , such as Google AdSense TM sites.

The very best packages will combine a number of these strategies to provide multiple streams of income, and cumulative passive income. They will also talk about the support you will receive and possibly provide contact details so you can make further inquiries before spending your money.

The best packages are usually introduced by organizations and/or suppliers who have a number of years of experience behind them.

The person who introduces you to a particular system is not as important as the originator or system builder. It is the system builder’s track record that matters the most in making an assessment. Two or three years can be a long time in internet terms, and the lesser organizations may not necessarily last. It is an oft repeated tragedy when start up companies collect money from a significant number of people only to fold.

However, it is still infinitely better to do something less than well than to do nothing at all! You will come to the point where you will jump off the cliff and build your parachute on the way down. The sooner you start, the better.

By the way, the site I happened across is probably the best free site I have ever seen. It is absolutely and totally free, and is written by one of the most highly rated and creative promotional writers of all time - Gary C. Halbert. I think it’s worth a visit:-

The third area of the triangle of wealth that is important to develop a proper balance and understanding
of is relationships. Relationships could be with family such as a spouse, parents or children. Relationships
are not limited to these alone. Relationships are also friends and the people we surround ourselves with.
This also includes co-workers as well as people we associate with because of our occupation. Learning
how each of these relationships are different and how they contribute to our over all wealth is important.

The first of the relationship realm is family. Each of these relationships are different, but can be labeled
under that category of family. Each child, or a good child, wants to help their parents and provide for them
in old age. Every good child wants to be able to help their parents when they reach the age of retirement. As
for being a parent, this also is a different relationship. Most parents would do anything for their children
including die if need be. There is no stronger force than the love of a parent. There is no sacrifice a parent
wouldn’t make for a child, especially if it were a life and death situation for the child.

The third in the realm of family is a significant other. It is often said that behind every good man is a good
woman, and I believe the same is true that behind every good woman is a good man. It is very fulfilling to
have someone who helps you acquire and chase the dreams and goals you are after. Most people will do
more for the one they love than they will for themselves. Think about it. Are you not more driven when
you think about what you will be able to do for your spouse or the one you love. Are you not more inspired
to do great things if for nothing else than their affection for doing so. Every man is driven to provide for
their significant other and often feels at a loss when they cannot. Every woman wants to take care of
their spouse and make sure they are fed and taken care of, and often feels a loss when they cannot take
care of the family.

The second are of relationships involves our friends. For men and women the reason for friendship
is different, but necessary. A man feels empowered when he has a buddy by his side. A side kick
to help take on the world. Ask any soldier what the most important thing in combat is and they
will tell you that it is their battle buddy. The guy next to you that watches your back. For a woman,
friendships are about connection and it is how all of us learn to communicate and connect with other
people. Nothing moves in this world without people. Nothing grows, and nothing is completed. Good
friends help us grow and move forward as well as support us when things get rough.

The final area of relationships are co-workers and clients. The ability to develop a good relationship
with those we work with is essential for productivity and success. No business can grow and provide
for it’s clientele without first having employees that work well together and accomplish the goals of
the business. Clients are also important and learning to develop a good relationship with them is
essential for developing abundance and wealth in the area of finances. The clients pay the bills, and learning
to develop a win win situation with them can be the difference between success and failure of many businesses.

The ability to develop good relationships is important for maintaining a good balance between wealth and health.
A negative relationship can wreak havoc on our emotional health which in turn effects our physical health. Not
maintaining good relationships can also diminish our drive to accomplish more in life and effect our financial well
being. Each effects the other, and developing a good balance between finances, health, and relationships is
what is necessary for creating a life of wealth and abundance.

The second area that is important to develop in ones life is health. If ones health
is out of balance, it will effect the other areas of finances and relationships. A wealthy
life is about maintaining a balance among health, finances, and relationships. A weakness
in one area or another immediately effects the other two. Be sure to maintain a proper diet
and exercise. This is the easiest way to keep oneself in good health.

Poor health will immediately effect the other two areas of the triangle. If one has poor health,
there are doctor bills that need to be paid. Not to mention the time away from creating a good
financial situation for yourself and your family while going through a period of poor health.
If you were to develop a terminal illness tomorrow, would you have enough in the bank
to take care of yourself and your family for any length of time. If not, I recommend paying
closer attention to your health right now as prevention is much easier and less time consuming
than fixing the problem after it evolves.

Imagine the effect that learning you have a terminal illness that could have been prevented would
be on your family. Especially if it effects ones finances. Now they have to worry and stress over
your health. They also have to help take care of you as things get worse. There is no greater
pain than watching the ones we love suffer around us. Learn to develop a proper exercise and diet
program for yourself so that your family and loved ones will not have to endure such an experience.

Proper diet is very important. Learning to cut out extra sugar, caffeine, and other negative chemicals
is important. Begin to eat much more naturally. There are natural food stores in almost every town across
the country. These stores sell foods that are free of preservatives, chemicals, and other harmful things
that the average pre-packaged food all have. Learn to cut back on candy, soda, and coffee. These are
all harmful not only to our health, but our energy fields. Just as many of the chemicals that are used
in much of the pre-packaged food found at grocery stores.

Proper exercise is also important. At least an hour of a good cardiovascular workout every day
will help one to maintain a healthy weight as well as a healthy heart. Activities such as martial arts,
bike riding, speed walking and swimming can all help to maintain a healthy state of mind and body.
It has also been proven that endorphins are released when one works out. Endorphins are responsible
for a healthy, happy emotional state. People who work out tend to be happier, more motivated, and have
more energy for accomplishing and acquiring goals and dreams.

Be sure to balance your health well. Being able to experience life with a brighter, happier outlook
is what the joy of life is all about. Having the health to make the long haul toward your goals
and dreams helps one feel a sense of accomplishment and progress. Not to mention it makes us
more attractive to the opposite sex as well as gives us more energy to chase our dreams.

The ability to balance all three areas of wealth is what true wealth is about. Balancing the areas of finances,
health, and relationships is much more than just having them in ones life. A relationship with someone that
makes one miserable on a daily basis is not wealth. Making tons of money by hurting, killing, and stealing
from other people is not wealth either. The ability to develop all three of these areas in both abundance and
balance is what true wealth is about. To experience life to the fullest because of these three areas is wealth,
and wealth is available to all of us as soon as we learn to focus on the important areas of wealth.

The first of the three areas of wealth is finances. This involves money, the desired material things, and
all the necessary material things such as food, shelter, and clothing. Sadly, the world works based on
a give and take system. It is based upon a monetary system of exchange. You must give something of
value to get something of value in return. The ability to take care of ones basic needs is essential before
one is able to move on to other areas of desire and want.

The area of finances talks about ones ability to provide the basic requirements for life. A shelter to
keep one warm, dry, and out of the weather. How nice ones shelter is is up to each individual and
their ability to develop a good financial mind set as apply that mind set out in the world. Finances
also takes into account food and water. We all know why food and water are important. On a basic
level of survival, humans don’t need any where near as much variety in food as we have. Again, ones
ability to learn, develop, and apply a wealthy financial mind set is essential for better quality and
quantity of food and water. Finances also includes clothing. One must be protected from the
environment around them by clothing, not to mention that other people are a little turned off
by someone who walks around naked all the time.

Finances are an essential area to get under control before one is able to develop other areas
of wealth and abundance. The average person spends 1/3 of their life working. This is time that
could be spent doing more productive and enjoyable things if one were to take care of their
financial needs. Most people are not able to do this, often times living paycheck to paycheck
barely scrapping the bottom of the barrel to get by. Not only is this stressful, but it takes away
from ones ability to truly immerse oneself in life and enjoy the moments as they come by.

Finances also allow us the money and time to go out and develop our health and our relationships.
It allows us to travel and meet new people. It allows us the ability to go where others go on a regular
basis and make new friends. It also allows us to spend time with someone we care about and develop
more meaningful relationships. Not to mention the time to do so. A good balance also allows us to spend
much more time with our family, especially our children. There is no greater reward in the world than
being able to watch our children grow into amazing adults.

Finances are also important for our health. Having money allows us to eat more expensive all
natural foods. It also allows us the time to spend working out on a regular basis as well as
the equipment to do so. It also allows us to invest more money into regular appointments
with doctors, which can be quite an expensive bill at times. Developing a wealthy and abundant
financial life opens opportunities not other wise available to us in both health and relationships.
This is why it is the first on the triangle of wealth. Poor finances causes undo stress which is also
very bad for our health. The threat of losing the things you have worked hard to earn is a terrible
thought for most people. Not to mention the amount of time and stress that is required to work
a regular job and the amount of wear and tear on our body from it.

Take the time to get a good education about money and in developing a good understanding
of wealth and what it takes to create an abundance in this area. This could be a life long journey,
just as the other two areas can be. Enjoy the process, and be sure to apply the knowledge you gain
in each of the areas. Just a little bit each day will build and create amazing results in your life.

Wealth is a concept that is often misunderstood. More times than not it is related to material
things and money. Wealth is not just stuff. Wealth is a state of mind. A way of thinking and
being. Wealth is about abundance in all areas of life, and there are three major areas that must
be covered for one to live a well balanced life. Any one of these being out of sync can topple
the triangle. Learning to balance each one and gain as much understanding of each is important.

The three areas of the triangle of wealth are finances, health, and relationships. Each has their
own science and understanding and each effects the other two. Take the time to develop each
in your life and you will begin to recognize a life full of abundance. We were created with the
intention of having the things we desire in abundance. It is our birth right, our god given right
to live life to the fullest and enjoy everything we desire in abundance.

The first of the triangle of wealth is finances. Of course, wealth is much more than just money
and material things, however, it is something that cannot be overlooked. The average person
spends close to 1/3 of their life trying to solve this area of the triangle and usually end up failing
miserably. The ability to take care of ones financial situation creates opportunities other wise not
available to the average person. Finances are all about our well being and survival. The ability
to have enough cash in ones bank account allows one to have the freedom to what one wants
to do with their time. It feeds us. It clothes us. It houses us. It is basic survival and necessity.

The second on the triangle of wealth is health. It does us no good to have tons of money and great
relationships if we are unable to enjoy them because of our health. Imagine having all the money
in the world, and having to stay in bed because of not maintaining ones health. This is why health is
on the triangle. Without the proper maintainance of ones health, one is unable to go out and create
a fortune. Proper diet and exercise should be on the daily schedule of every person developing a
mind set of wealth. Besides, what good is anything if you won’t live long enough to enjoy it.

The final corner of the triangle of wealth is relationships. The ability to travel and experience the
world is great. The ability to afford all the fine things in life is a wonderful goal. Having the health
to be able to do so is also a fantastic thing, however, none of it is very enjoyable without company
and companionship. This can be from a significant other to friends and co-workers. It is our relationships
and our connections that really add value to our experiences in life. There is no greater force on the
planet than love. One will do a hundred times more for someone they love than they will for themselves.

The ability to balance all three of these areas is what true wealth is about. Balancing these areas is much more
than just having them in ones life. A relationship with someone that makes one miserable on a daily basis
is not wealth. Making tons of money by hurting, killing, and stealing from other people is not wealth either.
The ability to develop all three of these areas in both abundance and balance is what true wealth is about.
To experience life to the fullest because of these three areas is wealth, and wealth is available to all of us
as soon as we learn to focus on the important areas of wealth.
