The INNER Counsel Think Tank - (The Mastermind Group That Advises You From Within)

Have you ever thought something through that you said you “didn’t” know how to deal with, and come up with an answer - the exact right answer - that surprised even yourself? Have you ever faced either an extreme adversity or crisis situation – one where you had to put your mind wholly into it, and you then made the specific right choices and decisions which move you through — and efficiently beyond the situation?

Have you ever had a need, or faced a challenge, or were caught up in a dilemma where all those “friends” outside you who you asked for advice were either “too busy”, “too disinterested”, or gave you “dud” suggestions — and so you said “Ahhh - the hell with it; I’ll do the best I can by myself” — and you did?

And without ever meeting or knowing you, I can tell you the answers to the preceding are a resounding yes! “Uh, why do you ask, Pete?” Why? Because I want you to understand that you are more capable, competent, creative and mentally astute than you realize. Indeed, a lot more.

From 27 years as the country’s foremost peak performance hypnotherapist, I’ve helped scores of people find - and connect with - inner resources and capacities they never even knew they possessed. And these empowering, life advancing resources always moved them to realize one significant thing: They could look to themselves to find answers and direction they’d, heretofore, believed they had to look outside themselves to find.

Once you realize this capacity, and trust its service potential within you, you can then stop hoping, waiting, wishing, dreaming, and depending on the “world” to assist your sustenance and advance. You, literally, can go within, and gain targeted understanding and insight that (frequently) is the exact right answer you need—the answer that, once applied, enables you to fulfill a need, sustain a quest, and/or expand your impact so you product further progress and development.

Wisdom Within, Power Within;

Your Subconscious Is, Irrefutably, A Realm Of Provision

“Are you telling me I don’t have to ask those outside me for any advice or counsel?” No. I know, many times, you must ask for others’ opinions and perspectives. That - to a notable degree - is how you grow.

What I’m saying is you can learn to trust and resourcefully use faculties, which you possess right now, to meet your individual needs, so you (of your own volition) can continue your advance. You are smarter than you realize; you are a lot more subconsciously capable than you even know:

• Your capacity for understanding is greater than you realize

• Your capacity to attract the exact people you need into your life is greater than you realize

• Your capacity for decisiveness is greater than you realize

• Your capacity for thinking things through, thoroughly evaluating them, and letting your subconscious provide you targeted insight and direction is greater than you realize

• Your capacity to rise to the occasion, meet and master a demand, and glean the perspective necessary to devise, and implement a plan of action - a plan for success - is greater than you realize

So many times clients, for decades now, have told me “Wow; I didn’t know that I knew what I knew!” And my response to them is always the same. I tell them “Interesting, huh! I wonder what else exists within your mental realm you’re not aware of yet!” (The answer is, a lot!)

What does all this have to do with a mastermind group? Good question. And let me explain it like this: There are two general types of mastermind groups. The first is where you assemble a defined group of people who, presumably, bring to the table established knowledge, and a desire to serve, and, therefore, be served. This is the traditional mastermind framework.

If you establish one that works, where your members are consistent in their motivation and their enthusiasm to help you, great. My personal experience has been that, because of my high profile reputation as a therapist and life transformation facilitator, I usually have my brain “picked” continually by eager beaver mastermind group members who want something from me (for their personal lives), more so than wanting to truly help me out with a marketing and/or promotional situation I’m facing.

As far as I’m concerned, the rule of thumb with mastermind groups is: Make sure the scales balance. There must be an equality between genuinely giving with each member’s expecting and requesting. If not, you’re “pouring water to help someone else’s tree grow” … while your tree doesn’t receive the degree of nourishment it needs to grow, indeed, ultimately flourish.

Which leads us nicely to the second kind of mastermind group: The Inner Counsel Think Tank. Remember the three initial questions I asked you — those where your answers were a definitive yes?
Well, in this type of mastermind group, you’ll now use your vast, untapped subconscious capacity to meet your personal needs. And, as such, come to rely upon your own mental power to get your life emphatically done.

Again, I’m not saying don’t look to, seek out, or request the perceptions of others. I’m saying you can, and should, learn how to recognize your own life sustaining/expanding power. And trust - and apply - this power so an “inner mastermind group” is working full time to enhance and increase your personal growth.

YOUR INNER COUNSEL THINK TANK

Using Your Own Wisdom, Ability And Creativity To Supply You The Answers You Need

This process, as I personally use it, is easy to implement, and produces incredible results for me. Let me detail it for you now. [*I suggest you read through this process in its entirety first. Then apply it exactly as outlined.]

The Inner Counsel Think Tank Process

1.) First, write down one specific thing that you feel you need direction and/or an answer for. This sets the stage for what your Inner Counsel will be meeting about.

For example: Are you looking for a title for your new book? Which person should you hire for an important position from your pool of candidates? What’s the best way to approach asking your boss for a raise? How can you get on the radio or TV show you know you’re qualified for – and which would really give your product or service the visibility lift you need? Etc.

Write this one focal point question down. And then, when you do, consciously review it. And make notes regarding any ideas that may “pop up”. Then, say to yourself (and mean it) “Now, I’ll turn this question over to my Inner Counsel. Their collective wisdom and insight knows exactly what to do, and how to do it.

2.) Now you’ll gain subconscious access so first, seclude yourself in a quite, non-distracting environment, one where you’re sure you’ll not be disturbed. Take your phone off the hook, loosen any tight or binding clothing you may be wearing, and then position yourself on your back, lying either upon your bed, the couch, the floor, or stretched out in a reclining chair so you feel totally comfortable and at ease.

Next, let your eyelids gently close down, and take 3 l-o-n-g, d-e-e-p breaths, inhaling easily through your nostrils, and slowly exhaling through your mouth.

Next, envision yourself slowly descending a staircase of 7 total steps. And with each step, mentally/silently repeat the word “D-O-W-N” to yourself, allowing yourself to progressively let loose, and more thoroughly mentally/physically relax with each successive step you descend.

When you’ve easily, comfortably reached the bottom step #1, and are feeling the deep and soothing comfort of mind/body inner calmness, then shift your awareness so you perform the scope of the following #3.

3.) Now, you’ll engage your Inner Counsel Think Tank. And so, imaginatively seated at a round table, clearly notice that there are four other members of your group seated at the table along with you. There is:

A.) Creativity/new idea generator

B.) Wisdom/insight

C.) Motivation/will to triumph

D.) Marketing/promotion

You can imagine them as actual people, or individual composites of condensed white light energy.

Take some time to imaginatively acknowledge them, and say a heartfelt hello to each of the four members at the table with you.

4.) Next, call the meeting to order. Looking at the group with a CEO’s confident directness, tell them why you’ve convened them (i.e., “We’re here today to discuss and give targeted insight to broaching the following issue.”)

Then, clearly tell them the question you’ve written down. Next, mentally go from person to person, and ask them, for example, “Creativity/new idea generator – as you consider this, what have you to say?” Then, just comfortably wait for them to respond. They may readily give you some startling revelation. Or, they may say — Hmmm…let me think on it some more, and I’ll be getting back to you shortly.”

Whatever their response, tell them Thank You. And then move on to engaging the next counsel member the same outlined way.

After you’ve engaged each of the four members individually (and have acknowledged their response), inhale deeply, and exhale through your mouth slowly.
Then, imaginatively sit back in your round table chair, and look at them as a collective group, and notice them speaking to and interacting with each other about your particular question.

Next, ask if they’ve come up with anything else. And let them answer you. Some more targeted revelation may be expressed, or, they may say “We’ll keep working on it, and we’ll be getting back to you very soon with more important, useful information and direction.”

5.) Finish your meeting with a genuine “thank you all!” And, with strong feeling, then silently repeat the following affirmation: “This group gives me valuable insight each time we convene. They all have my best interest in mind. And they all know what to do, and exactly how to do it. I am now completely open to continue receiving their insight and direction!”

6.) Again inhale a long deep breath through your nostrils, and slowly exhale through your mouth. And now you’re ready to return back to your full conscious awareness once again. So imagine you’re now ascending a staircase of four total steps suggesting to yourself with each step you ascend you are more alert and more completely consciously aware. Then, when you’ve reached the top step at number four, let your eyelids open, inhale deeply, fill up your lungs…and s-t-r-e-t-c-h.

7.) Now, take a pen and paper and write down all the information the counsel members provided you. Take your time here, and just let their suggestions and direction easily stream through you and out onto your notepad.

8.) When you’ve written down all related information your counsel members have provided you, then proceed to organize it in an implementation hierarchy.
And then, one by one, start doing, applying, and/or tasking in exact accord with what they said.

The Stream Of Insight Will Continue To Flow

As well as the information you wrote down from your post meeting wrap-up…the “group” will likely continue supplying targeted information to you regarding handling, and appropriately dealing with the question you posed.

Ideas and insight are sure to start “popping up out of the blue” – sometimes in the most unlikely places (i.e., while you’re driving, grocery shopping, showering, working out, eating, on the phone, in the bathroom, reading, playing golf, etc.).

This is why I suggest you carry a pen and pad with you once you begin using this process. And, when you can (i.e., not while driving), write down the new insight your “group” has unfolded to you.

A Final Review And Commentary

Always be sure to bring an air of patience, and goodwilled expectancy to your Inner Counsel Think Tank meetings. Don’t force your members to comply, or put “C’mon; what’s the answer here!” pressure on them. Just approach your contact with them as I’ve outlined, to ensure maximum results.

I suggest you have Inner Counsel meetings no more than twice per week, with at least three days between each session. This is so your subconscious can process your request without being pressured and/or emotionally overloaded.

Once you’ve received what you know is the right, workable answer (and have implemented it successfully), you can then reconvene your group to address another need or question you may have.

Just use the exact format I’ve outlined each time. And know that the more you use this process, the more powerful, fruitful, and definitively substantive it will become for you!

What is Stamina

Stamina is the amount of gas you have left in the tank. For example, compare it to a car. A car can’t go on without gas, and you can’t go on without stamina. The main difference between you and a car is that you don’t have to pay for your gas. It regenerates automatically from you sitting or standing idle. Not to mention that there are plenty of ways and training methods to increase your stamina. You can’t increase the gas capacity of a car because it comes with a limited tank. But you on the other hand have a limitless tank that can be increasing in size every single day of your life.

You’ve seen people get winded while moving up a flight of stairs, running a very short distance, and doing simple exercises. These people have small tanks. But the people who participate in cycling/running marathons, run 1-4 miles everyday and still have gas left in the tank, people like…. Lance Armstrong! They have huge tanks that are still increasing from day to day.

If you want a bigger tank, then you’ll have to create a training regimen and stick to it. There’s no other way you can do it (legally). Picture how cool it would be to run a mile and still have gas left in your tank afterwards. There is great popularity and fame in having a lot of stamina. Because when you last longer, your performance in any sport or competition is improved by over 300%.

So whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just want to get in shape, concentrate on your stamina (gas tank).

Ryan Dodson - Personal Trainer - Stamina really is the difference between failure and success at getting into shape. The longer you last, the longer you can train. If you want to achieve superhuman stamina and make it easier to train longer, please visit http://www.ebookchi.com/inhumanstamina.html

Dream Achievement Process – A Unique Way To Achieve Your Goals

“Your ability to set goals is the master skill of success. Goals unlock your positive mind and release ideas and energy for goal attainment. Without goals, you simply drift and flow on the currents of life. With goals, you fly like an arrow, straight and true to your target.” Brian Tracey

Goal setting statistics

Here’s some research on the effectiveness of goal setting: In 1953, Yale’s graduating seniors were surveyed to determine how many of them had specific, written goals for their future. The answer: 3%. Twenty years later, researchers polled the surviving members of the Class of 1953 — and found that the 3% with goals had accumulated more personal financial wealth than the other 97% of the class combined!

The moral of this story is: 1. Goals work. 2. Almost nobody uses them.

“That’s all very well”, I hear some of you say, “but I am still not convinced, goal setting is boring, and I have more important things to do, and it works for some but not me.” I understand, but I warn you this is where it all begins and you will miss the key to long term success with the other 97% if you skip over effective goal setting.

The approach to effective goal setting

Ok. Now I personally have done a lot of goal setting exercises before and based on my experience there are 2 general sides.

1. Those that tell you to be absolutely specific and follow processes like the SMART mneumonic (specific/measurable/action/realistic/time)

2. While others say be more general as specificity ruins your chance of success.

I believe good goal setting (like life) needs a balance between specifics and freedom. Trying to control every aspect of the process often complicates things. It can take the joy out of the dreaming and imagination. Goal setting is not about activating the rational mind, but it’s about the subconscious or higher self (whatever term you want to use for that mysterious force that guides us). Accessing that power is through joy, fun, excitement, and inspiration. If the goal setting task is laborious, lame, boring or difficult then forget about it.

3d pts Dream Achievement Process

So here was my challenge how could I make this section FUN, rewarding, challenging, engaging, inspiring, thought provoking, long lasting, and repeatable? OK GO WITH ME NOW, it may seem a little silly and childish but that’s where creation begins so let’s play pretend and let the imagination run wild – then you can return to the serious stuff again J.

Imagine strolling along you favourite beach and tripping over a smooth weather beaten dull green bottle. You pick it up and see it’s closed by a cork, thinking a message may be inside you decide to pull off the cork and out comes a genie wearing some Nike gym clothes and drinking a bottle of water as she floats out.

She says: “I am the wellbeing genie, name your ultimate health and fitness dreams.”

“Wow that is a bit overwhelming!” you say. “I have a lot of health and fitness dreams.”

Then the genie brings you over to a mirror and says: “This is my magical mirror – it reflects back what your health and fitness dreams are. You may see yourself energized upon waking in your desired body, youthfully playing with family and friends or even climbing a mountain.”

What do you see?

Genies know that for dreams to come true you need to be passionate about them, so she digs a little deeper and asks: “WHY do you really want to achieve this?”

What will this outcome GET for you and allow you to DO?

The genie then says: “Ask the mirror vision of you to pick up the paper that’s sitting on the table next to you. It has the date you will achieve this. It may be general or specific.”

What date do you see on it?

The genie then asks you: “Open the door behind you to reveal what RESOURCES and SUPPORT (including people) will be there to help you now?

Now says the genie: “I know that there are things that have held you back in the past from achieving your dreams and they are still holding you back from realising success.” She then proceeds to hand you a red bag: “Place every fear and disappointment in this bag, then tie it together and throw the bag into the mirror.” As you do you see the bag disappearing slowly out of sight.

Then the genie says: “Imagine yourself again in this healthy dream body, feel your fingers tingle with energy and excitement as you live your life with this body.” The genie proceeds to lead you through the day as you experience it with your healthy body full of vitality and abundant energy.

Finally the genie says: “Your wish is my command!”

Genie tips:

1. While you are in this state write it down. Words are an integral part of the thinking process. Words convey images, pictures, feelings, emotions to the mind. By clothing it in words you allow the thought to take form in body, shape, form, substance. Try writing it in the form that you already have it, for example: “I am so happy that I am…” It may feel strange and silly to start but it help to put you into the right state.

2. Get into this state as often as possible, including using techniques like visualization. Your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between something that is real and something vividly imagined. It is a secret technique to high achievers especially in sports. Whatever picture (goal) you consistently think about will drive your actions to create that exact picture. When you continually see yourself in possession of your goal, your subconscious mind will move you into actions that align with the mental image you hold.

3. Believe. If you don’t truly believe you can reach a goal, it will forever remain a pipe dream. In order to fully achieve anything, you must believe it is possible at a deep cellular level. For example if your goal is to achieve your ideal weight then buy the clothes now that you would wear when you are your ideal weight.

4. Have an attitude of gratitude. This will change you state from fear and disappointment to one of motivation. Be grateful for everything you have now. It may be the support of family and friends, or the ability to exercise. For an instant motivation shot please see this article and film… Strongest father in the world

Spring 2007 Hairstyles - How To Get The Waves

Question: What are the Spring 2007 hairstyles? Answer: Lot of waves. Short or long, you’ve gotta go for the wavy look. But a permed waves approach isn’t cutting it like it used to! A carefree, more natural look is the way to go for a Spring hairstyle in 2007. Now, if you don’t have a natural wave to your hair, and perming is ruled out, what’s a girl meant to do?

Don’t worry, here are some tips:

First of all, is the use of sea water spray. You can either buy these, or make your own from home. Just get some sea salt when you next do your grocery shopping and add it to a spray bottle of water.

Using this type of spray will bring out a wavy look in your hair even if it’s normally straight. Jessica Simpson’s wavy look is one that is good to try and copy using this technique.

Here are some styling steps to get the sea water wavy look for Spring 2007 hairstyles (Adapted from article on Beauty-and-the-bath.com):

1. Wash your hair with appropriate products for your type of hair:

2. Dry hair with a towel and spray hair roots with a volumizing product like Phyto Phytovolume Actif Maximizing Volume Spray - Fine Limp Hair; Note: Work a straightening balm through hair if your hair is naturally curly or course;

3. Next blow dry your hair straight, starting at the roots to achieve extra volume. Note: Hair must be fully dry for this style to work. Now blow cold air on the roots to add volume.

4. The next step is to separate the hair into three sections, and secure with a ponytail holder.

5. Now curl hair with a 1-inch barrel curling iron. Start with one section, and take an inch portion of hair and wrap it around the barrel of the curling iron. When you are curling, make sure to leave ends loose;

6. Release the curl after 5 or 10 seconds, holding it longer if you want a tighter curl. So you should be left with a corkscrew curl;

7. Roll and pin the curl onto your scalp. Alternate the direction of the curl as you work your way through each section. Alternating directions will make your curls appear more natural.

8. Once the pinned curls have cooled down, release them;

9. Blow-dry your locks on a low, cool setting to gently loosen the waves. Alternatively, you can opt to separate the curls with your fingers;

10. Nearly finished! Now carefully spritz your locks with saltwater spray.

11. Mist with hairspray for hold.

Whether you have long, shoulder length or short hair, the above process should help you take on a trendy Spring 2007 hairstyle! We recommend before you go to these lengths to change the look of your hair, you first check out what it will look like on your own photo. How? See below.

Here Is What Failures Do

How many times did you give up and quit?

You were striving for success, but life turned to be very tough that you thought there is no way out and decided that it is better to quit the whole thing. Then you started to believe that you weren’t meant for success and you would better settle for an ordinary life.

We are all confronted with hard times. However, successful people respond in a totally different way than normal people.

First, they have an unshakable belief that winners never quit. Accordingly, they persist. As a result, the reward is massive success.

Here is an important truth stated by the great Thomas Edison: “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up”

It is only when you give up that you fail!

The most interesting part is that the moment you give up and quit is the closest moment to your massive success.

It looks as if God is testing your commitment to your purpose.

You must show that you are 100% committed. Go the extra mile and persist.

If you have a strong meaning for what you are doing, then you have to keep on moving forward. Never ever quit.

Persistence is a critical factor in the formula of creating everlasting success.

This is simply because you could never fail as long as you are still in the game. You can call yourself a failure, when you quit. But as long as you are trying different paths and willing to succeed, you will have the chance to get what you want.

Always remember that the moment when you are about to quit is the closest moment to your success. All what you have to do is to persist a little more and go the extra mile.

The reward will be the life of your dreams. The reward will be a meaningful life that is full of passion and satisfaction.

Curly Hair - How to Tame Those Unruly Locks

Do you happen to be one of those women with naturally curly hair? Even though curly hair can look really nice, it can be very annoying when your hair shoot out in different directions and refuses to cooperate. If you’ve been having troubles finding the right hair care product to tame your unruly locks, then you might want to visit a hair care specialist, and get some advice. A hair care specialist, will be able to provide you with the best possible hair care program. Even though there are a lot of over the counter curly hair care products, you should always consult an expert before you use any of these products.

Curly hair is very delicate and easy to damage. It might look really tough and durable when it starts sticking out in every direction, but the truth is, its fragile and needs to be handled with care. There have been several cases where women have lost their hair as a result of using the wrong hair care products. You might hate your hair now, but think how much your going to miss it if it starts falling out. Having difficult hard to manage hair sure beats having no hair at all.

Generally curly hair is harder to take care of than straight hair. To help you take care of your curls locks, you should consider buying a hairbrush that has been designed to brush curly hair. I’m sure that you know that curly hair tends to tangle quite easily, this is why you need a special comb to untangle your hair, other wise you might end up pulling the tangled hair out if you use a regular comb.

It is important to have the right hairbrush and comb for your hair type, and they make hairclips that are solely designed for curly hair. Because curly hair often comes in thick locks, you are going to need clips that can accommodate a large amount of hair. If you plan on clipping your hair to keep it in check, make sure that you don’t torture your hair in the process. You should always try to be gentle with your hair. Hair care is not just about getting your hair under control, its also about keeping your hair healthy too.

7 Things People Should Not Be Doing In The Gym

The gym is a health hazard for a lot of people.

Daily, I see people giving their all on cardio equipment in an effort to lose a few kilos, or heaving weights back and forth in an effort to ‘get big’. These are the same people who, a year later have nothing to show for their three-one-hour-per-week-sessions except for perhaps a sore back, an injured knee and a good deal of disillusionment.

Here’s a list of seven things people should not be doing in the gym and some exercise alternatives:

1. Avoid fixed resistance machines. I use this metaphor for performers: using machines is like learning a role by deciding exactly what you will do before you even begin rehearsing, and patterning it for every performance. In the same way machines allow no freedom for the muscles, literally boring them senseless with the same pattern and decreasing neuromuscular awareness. They also take away the role of the important stabilising (core) muscles which is where all real-life movements begin and is where our power comes from.

–> So choose free-weights or cables instead and try incorporating Swiss Balls to increase the neuromuscular demands. Most qualified fitness instructors will be able to show you how to get the most out of such equipment.

2. Don’t overdo cardio. Many people still believe you just need to do lots of cardio to reduce body fat. This is false. Too much cardio can actually result in your body producing hormones that encourage fat storage in the body. You are also possibly sacrificing vital calorie-burning muscle tissue as a fuel source if you do more aerobic exercise than your ingested fuel allows for. Aerobic exercise is important as it allows nutrients to be transported to cells via the bloodstream when fat is released from the adipose cells. The bloodstream is the vehicle that transports it to be burned.

–> Do your cardio after a weight training session to promote fat loss or try circuits which are excellent vehicles for reducing body fat and increasing cardiovascular fitness.

3. Think laterally (literally!). Muscles work as force couples – they play together like teams. Training in isolation can cause an imbalance, leading to injury and an unsymmetrical looking body. Also don’t overemphasise movements in one plane of motion (particularly front to back) as our bodies naturally twist and move from side to side as well.

–> Think training “movements” not “muscles”; pushing, pulling, squatting, lunging, bending, twisting are the basic movements of day-to-day life. Finally if you train slowly you will play slowly, so vary the speed.

4. Posture is key. It’s not just an aesthetic thing, it can also lead to injuries and regular bouts of associated pain. The details can be complex but it’s important to know that there are muscles in your body that naturally become short and tight and others that get long and weak by nature.

–> The required response to correct this is to stretch the shorter, tighter muscles and strengthen the longer, weaker muscles. For example when someone has a posture that makes them look like the Pink Panther – protruding head and rounded shoulders – the chest is one muscle that needs a good stretch. Only stretch what is tight, as stretching the long and weak muscles will lead to further imbalances.

5. Crunch after crunch. There is no such thing as a spot reduction. 100 sit-ups a day will not flatten that tummy and it will only lead to poor posture by over-strengthening the upper abdominals and the powerful and greedy hip flexor muscles. The energy to do the crunch may actually come from fat stored somewhere else in the body.

–> So choose exercises that engage lots of muscles. A squat, for example involves over 14 major muscles.

6. Have a plan. Having no plan will decrease your chances of success.

–> You need to clarify your goals and determine the best way to achieve them or you may be wasting a lot of time (not to mention money).

7. Leave the books at home. Don’t take books or other distracters into the gym.

–> Do exercises that require you to focus on each task as though it’s a meditation and treat every session as a chance to increase your awareness of how your body moves.

Running Stamina

How many times, in the middle of running long distances, has your throat gone dry or you had this really bad blood taste in your mouth? Many people who run find themselves in this situation everyday. It’s even happened to me a few times before. Wouldn’t it be a lot more convenient if you could just put an end to all of this? To start enjoying running when you do it?

That is why so many people quit running after only a few tries. It’s because they don’t know how to run. Oh sure, “start moving your legs and swing your arms” is one way to do it, but the way to truly run and not run out of breath quickly is what every new athlete, out-of-shape person, and even slightly experienced athletes want to know.

If you are running improperly than it is only going to be harder for you to get in shape. And you will most likely give up after a short while because running is hell in the beginning. However, if you know what you’re doing, you can make those first training sessions a lot easier. And I’ll show you how with these quick tips:

Breath in through your nose. Remember those common running conditions that I described above about your throat going dry and getting that blood taste in your mouth. Well this is a sure-fire way to eliminate that problem altogether.

Run from heel to toe. This lessens how hard your feet in the ground while to you are running. The harder your feet hit the ground, the faster your legs will get tired. So step a little lighter using the heel to toe technique.

Pace yourself. Especially when you are running beside two or more people in an endurance race/training session. There is this competitive feeling that people often get when running head-to-head with someone. If you are trying to beat the person next to you then you most likely won’t. When you are ahead, you’ll really be behind. They’ll have more gas in their tank than you in the long run and it will start to show about half-way through the race/training session.

Well there you have it. Apply these tips to your training regimen and you should have nothing to worry about.

Good luck.

Tips On How To Avoid Back Pain During The Day

During your everyday life, you probably do many different activities that require you to use your back. Even though you may not think about it while you are doing it, your back is being worked out. This may not be a big problem if you are doing everything the right way, but if you are not, you may end up with a lot of back pain at the end of your day.

A lot of people suffer from back pain after being at work all day. The main problem with this is that they cannot figure out why their back hurts. They feel that they are simply going to work, sitting at their desk all day long and then going home. But while all of this is going on, they are overlooking the obvious reason as to why their back is causing them problems.

By not keeping a proper posture while sitting at a desk, you will cause yourself all kinds of problems in the long run. It is important to make sure that you sit up straight the entire day, with your shoulders back in a natural curve. This will ensure that your spine stays in a straight position, which will help to eliminate back pain. If you are having a hard time with this you may want to get a lower back support that will help you sit properly. This will allow you to find the proper position, and be as comfortable as possible during the day.

People that do manual labor for a living also find that back problems are common. Even though you are not sitting at a desk all day, you are still using your back to lift items all day long. This can be even more detrimental to your back than bad posture. If you are going to be lifting all day long the first thing you need to do is learn the proper technique. Regardless of how heavy the items are, you always need to lift with your legs, never your back. Many people have also found out that braces are a great tool to have. They can help to support your lower back throughout the day, and help to ensure that you have no problems when the day is over.

If you are still having problems with your back, and you do not know what to do, you will want to visit your family doctor or a chiropractor. They will be able to determine why your back is giving you problems, and also properly diagnose your situation. You may find out that your back problem is more serious than you thought. These doctors can also give you a lot of information on exercises that you can do to keep your back healthy. Many people overlook doing exercises, but they can work.

Overall, if you are suffering from back pain throughout the day there is no reason to live with the discomfort. Look into what is causing the problem, and then take the necessary steps to solve it.
