About To Be Dumped – 7 Things You Can Do To Stop It From Happening

There are times when the writing is all over the way. You know he/she wants to break up with you, and it’s even crossed your mind that you should dump him/her before she dumps you. But if you really love him/her a break up is still a break up despite who did the breaking up.

Too many people give up on their relationship way too early, only to live with regret. Below is a list of 5 things you can do to stop a break up before it happens and save your relationship.

1. Take charge of the situation

Just trying harder to get along ignoring the conflicts and differences in your relationship will not save your relationship. Be the one to ask for a serious conversation to talk about the relationship and what’s going on.

2. Bring out everything in the open

Do not start by trying to change his/her feelings about you and about the relationship (you only create more resistance). Instead ask him/her to talk about what’s making him/her unhappy. Listen without blaming, negating every grievance he/she brings up or becoming defensive. What you want is to figure out what makes him/her happy so that you know how to make him/her happy.

3. Tell him/her the things you love about him/her

Most of us dwell too much on what’s not working and forget what is working. This is a great opportunity for you to highlight the things you love about him/her and why the relationship is important to you. This has to be done from a place of strength and confidence not desperation and insecurity which only makes you appear less attractive and ripe for dumping.

4. Come up with solutions - together

Ask for his/her input on how you can prevent the same conflicts in the future and/or how you can handle it differently in the future if it does come to surface again. It’s important that you do not play down what you want and need just to save the relationship (you’ll be the one unhappy) but instead find a middle ground where you both feel more secure, comfortable and can both trust each other.

5. Put bring back the spark into your relationship

Boredom, routine and sameness are common features of most relationships that have lost the spark and sizzle. Sadly, many couples accept this as a natural development. If you want to save your relationship start doing the things you did that won him/her over in the first place - and more. Start dating and courting him/her again, unexpectedly surprise him/her with little things, chase each other around the house, tickle him/her until he/she screams with delight, take moonlight walks in park, get it on in the car etc. Anything that brings that spark back, the more spontaneous the better.

6. Give him/her space

This is a tough one but if he/she says he/she wants “space”, do not try and make things worse by insisting thereby pushing him/her to dump you faster. When a person says he/she wants their “space” , it’s usually because they somehow feel “pressured” either by their own personal issues or issues to do with the relationship. Giving him/her his/her “space’ takes that pressure off and time alone will help him/her figure out just how important saving the relationship is.

7. Stay positive no matter what’s going on

It’s so easy to get bitter, angry and stop believing in lasting love. These same attitudes are what stops love from coming to you. If the person sees you keeping positive, he/she realizes that they may be leaving behind one of the best things that ever happened to them. I strongly believe (and with proof) that if you love him/her let him/her go and if he/she loves you, he/she’ll be back - and if he/she comes back, then it was meant to be.

Knowing that you did your best regardless of what the ending results are may not make the break -up less painful but it will help you move into a new relationship with a more positive attitude and better relationship skills. You will feel better prepared for a lasting relationship - next time round.

If you are not sure about signs he/she wants to break up with you or are struggling (or going crazy) about a relationship that drifted apart for no apparent reason, the articles section of my website has some very useful insights including information for those considering giving an ex a second chance or are convinced that a current lover is still stuck on an ex (some tell-tale signs that he/she is really over an ex).

Breastfeeding - Alarm Signals A Nursing Mother Should Recognize

Breastfeeding is a very natural and the healthiest choice both for mother and baby. Most of the times, breastfeeding goes well and both mother and baby are happy. Let us review the alarm signals that may be suggesting that the breastfeeding process might not be going all well.

First, a baby that is always crying may be a sign that there is something wrong. A baby who sleeps and wakes-up for feedings is a sign that the breast milk he is receiving is satisfying. A better who also does not wet 5 to 6 diapers per day might not be receiving all the milk he needs. One has to be careful nowadays as the newer diapers are very absorbent and it can be sometimes hard to see if it is wet or not.

A baby who is not gaining weight may be a sign that the breast milk is not satisfying his needs. There is a normal weight loss during the first 7 to 10 days of life but usually this weight loss is no more than 10% of the baby’s birth weight.

A baby that is highly jaundiced or has a faint cry is also a sign that something might not be right. In doubt, parents should always consult their physician.

A baby who also gets really upset when trying to latch-on the breast or only feeds for a couple of minutes and then fall asleep tired are signs that should raise a flag.

On the mother’s side, there are also alarm signs she should be aware of. A mother who is running a high fever or have increasing breast tenderness should consult her doctor. A nursing mother who is crying a lot or feels very sad should also ask for the proper help.

Another alarm sign breastfeeding mothers should know about is if they are in a non-supportive environment and receiving very negative messages about nursing. One has to acknowledge that not everyone will be supportive of breastfeeding and this could greatly undermine the overall breastfeeding experience.

In cases where a mother feels unsupported in her choice of breastfeeding her baby she can get the necessary support by joining a group for breastfeeding mothers. There are numerous forums on the internet where nursing mothers get together and exchange about their experiences.

Another very important step if a nursing mother does not feel supported while breastfeeding is to openly talk to her spouse or family about her feelings. Sometimes, a simple discussion will clear the air and the mother can feel understood and supported in her breastfeeding choice.

In the case of a woman who has undergone breast reduction surgery, she may try to breastfeed. Her milk production will depend on how the procedure was done. Many women have been able to breastfeed after such surgeries.

The only way to really know if the breasts can produce sufficient milk is to start nursing the baby. One has to know that the significant milk production usually starts on the second to the third day after birth. Just like for most other maternal tasks, patience is always recommended,

Tinnitus Relief - Tinnitus Free Living

If you are suffering from Tinnitus, your primary concern
would be, “How can I find relief from Tinnitus?” Just like
there are various reasons that may cause Tinnitus, similarly
there are various treatments available for Tinnitus relief.
But what is more important is, determining which treatment
can provide you the fastest and the best solution to your
suffering.

Listed below are a few Tinnitus relief suggestions,

One of the well-known factors, leading to the cause of
Tinnitus is, Stress. Thus, it is important to remain stress
free or at least try to reduce it to the minimum, to avoid
ringing in your ears. Anti-depressants and anti-anxiety
drugs are often prescribed by doctors for Tinnitus relief.

If stress is the reason for your Tinnitus, relaxation can
help you to a great extent. Thus, to diminish the effects of
Tinnitus, you must control stress. Hanging out with friends,
listening to your favourite music or doing anything that you
enjoy, relaxes you and hence helps to reduce stress.

Biofeedback is largely used to attain Tinnitus relief. It is
a method, which provides information to the patients about
their physiological conditions of which they are generally
unaware. Gaining knowledge on these matters, a person can
learn by trial and error to regulate their thinking and
several other mental processes to manage the involuntary
body processes like blood pressure, temperature etc.

Try masking noise. It is most annoying specially when the
environment around is quiet, especially at bed time. To
reduce or cover up the ringing sound in your ear, you can
listen to some soft music or concentrate on a loudly ticking
clock.

You must keep in mind that too much intake of caffeine and
nicotine can make the ailment worse. Therefore, if you are
suffering from Tinnitus, you must try to avoid caffeinated
colas, teas, and coffees. Also, avoid cigarettes, cigars,
and other tobacco products which contain nicotine.

To gain Tinnitus relief, try protecting your ears again
deafening loud sounds and noises. If your working condition
is such that you cannot avoid loud noises, make sure you
guard your ears with proper ear protectors.

Avoid too much intake of salt, which can increase the blood
pressure, thus resulting in more anxiety and making things
worse for you. Avoiding aspirin and aspirin products is also
recommended for Tinnitus patients.

At times, Hearing Aids can also be helpful for people
suffering from Tinnitus. However, the best of all ‘cure’, is
not to pay heed to the noise. The more you pay attention to
it, the more you feel the intensity of the sound. Try to
involve yourself in other sounds and ignore the ringing in
your ears. It will gradually fade away.

Finding a natural way of Tinnitus relief is much more
advisable than conventional medicines, which could possibly
have some side effects. Although Tinnitus might be treatable
by any or some of the above-mentioned methods, yet you may
not be able to overcome using them. Some people get
accustomed to living with Tinnitus, whilst it fades away
with time and treatment for others.

Mel Calaby suffered from tinnitus for over 20 years before he found relief.

Liberal Civility? An Oxymoron

Civility. Princeton University defines it as “formal or perfunctory politeness” or “the act of showing regard for others”. Ah, such a simple and honorable definition. In fact, if cogitated, one can effortlessly come to the illation that the entire country of the United States of America is based upon the idea of civility. Consider the Bill of Rights – “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”, along with ”The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated”. Quoted previously are excerpts from the first and fourth amendments fthe Bill of Rights. When contemplated, one can easily make the argument that these amendments, as well as most others, revolve around the incontrovertible idea of civility – common courtesy. Civility is just a straightforward and praiseworthy idea, right? Well, not to liberals, because from the liberal point of view, civility is synonymous with democrat and antonymous with conservative. To liberals, civility is to be used, not to enable greater cooperation, but as a weapon – to be yielded when liberals are devoid of any intelligent argument (which explains why they employ it so often).

Liberals constantly scream at conservatives to be more civil. This my friends, is absurd, self-contradictory, and a complete paradox. The process goes something like this: liberals relate something derogatory about conservatives. Then, conservatives express something detrimental regarding liberals. Finally, liberals goad their media lapdogs into crying foul. They, ladies and gentlemen, have perfected the art of smooth, pliable character assassination. Their idea of civilized confabulation is mindless rhetoric and propaganda that they continually spew to the American people in hopes of bullying them into submitting to their mindless disinformation. Sadly, as we have seen in the 2006 mid-term elections, it works. They complain about the antagonistic and abominable things said by conservatives while they themselves are at the heart of the matter. This couldn’t be true you say – where’s the proof? Well, examples of this liberal behavior are, distressingly, both widespread and prevalent. Even so, an example is definitely in order. Ann Coulter, noted conservative author, recently produced a book entitled Godless: The Church of Liberalism. In it, she observed that four 9/11 widows, who had turned themselves into tools for the hate-Bush establishment, actually took great gaiety in their celebrity stature. A blow below the belt decrees the liberal media pundits! However, Coulter’s comments were not simply superfluous – she later explained that the left has great adulation for this type of spokesperson due to the fact that, should conservatives ever dare to criticize such people, they can be forthwith reprimanded for their amazing coldness and insensitivity.

Most people would consider anyone saying directly that they hate someone to be uncivil, right? Well, apparently, this doesn’t apply to liberals. You see, by doing a search on Google for “hate Bush”, we receive over six million pages of results. How’s that for civility? And for “hate conservatives”, we get almost four million results. Yet, do you hear anyone in the media, from newspapers, to bloggers, to television, talking about these ten million articles? Of course not. You see, only conservatives are capable of incivility – liberals are apparently exempt from that behavior. Perhaps all conservatives lack the chromosome that controls civility. In seriousness though, the fact that compensates for the miniscule amount of articles produced by the media regarding the atrocious ideas passed about by liberals is the unmistakable fact that the liberals control the media. Without doubt, conservatives give as good as they get. However, they have the ability, not only to berate, but also to apply bona fide blame – not just fictitious and mythical castigations.

Have Your Antibiotics Made You Ill?

Doctors now prescribe antibiotics a lot more often than they used to. Although they do what they’ve been prescribed for, antibiotics also kill a lot more than what they’re prescribed for. What precautions can someone take after a course of antibiotics?

A course of antibiotics will kill all the bacteria in your body including the friendly bacteria. This friendly bacteria is your first line of defense against any bad bacteria and micro-organisms. Once all the bacteria have been killed they will start to repopulate your digestive tract once the course of antibiotics is finished. This is where problems can start to arise in certain individuals.

Today’s modern diet is high in refined carbohydrates like sugar and bread. This is the type of diet the Candida yeast likes to feed on, and is why a course of antibiotics plays straight into the hands of this bacteria. As the Candida starts to feed it repopulates your intestines at a faster rate than your friendly bacteria, and becomes stronger during this period.

When the Candida yeast really starts taking over it is allowed to mutate into its fungal form, and this is when symptoms of a yeast infection/candidiasis start to appear. Usually the first sign of a yeast infection is a sore or itchy vagina. Sometimes though this is just one of the noticeable symptoms but their can be things going on inside of you that you don’t know about.

Candidiasis, the term associated with a yeast infection of the digestive tract can give you symptoms that take longer to appear. This is because the Candida yeast first starts attacking the walls of the intestines, and then toxins and food particles start to enter the bloodstream. After this happens the infection spreads to your internal organs, and you could start experiencing any of the symptoms below…

Gastro Intestinal problems such as: bloating, gas, intestinal cramps, chronic diarrhea, constipation, or heartburn
Chronic fatigue, especially after eating
Depression
Poor memory
Lack of concentration
Muscle pains
Rectal itching.
Allergies ( including both food and air born )
Severe pre-menstrual syndrome
Impotence
Memory loss, severe mood swings, and feeling mentally ” disturbed “.
Recurrent fungal infections such as ” jock itch “, athlete’s foot, or ringworm
Extreme sensitivity to chemicals, perfumes, smoke, or other odors
Recurrent vaginal or urinary infections
Prostatitis
A feeling of being light headed or drunk after minimal wine, beer, or certain foods
Aching joints
Irritability
Acne

Once someone starts to experience these symptoms, the last thing they think is causing them is a yeast infection of the digestive tract. Most doctors refuse to believe the symptoms are due to candidiasis, and many women suffering from this type of infection have to put up with it for months and in extreme cases, years.

When the infection gets to this stage an anti Candida diet that includes anti fungals and probiotics needs to be started for any improvement to be gained in the individuals health.

When anyone has completed a course of antibiotics they should start taking some probiotics so the digestive tract is repopulated with enough friendly bacteria to stop the Candida mutating into its fungal form. Doing this will help anyone retain the health they had before the course of antibiotics was started.

Kamagra - An Effective Answer to Your ED

ED or Erectile Dysfunction is quite common with men, which had led chemists and druggists to come up with various medical remedies to it. The good news is that this sexual dysfunction or impotence is curable. Of all medication available in the stores today, Kamagra has made a distinctive mark as an effective answer to the treatment of ED.

Kamagra or Sildenafil Citrate (its generic name) is one of its kind, being the first significant oral medication for ED, which is widely popular now. It is same as the 100mg Viagra. Only the color is different. It is found in two forms-tablet and jelly. The interesting trivia surrounding Kamagra is that it was originally prepared to improve blood flow into the heart and soothe cardiovascular problems. But it proved more effective in boosting sexual abilities and the erection of the penis. Thereafter, Kamagra was approved by FDD and it gripped the market as a surefire remedy for ED.

It’s meant for oral ingestion and is manufactured in pills of 25mg, 50mg and 100mg. It is recommended that you should take this medicine in an empty stomach about an hour before intercourse. In full stomach, the efficiency is considerably reduced. This tablet is absorbed into your blood approximately 30 to 60 minutes after the intake and start acting on your system by inhibiting the enzyme PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type) found in penis. This enzyme is the main deterrent for proper erection as it restricts the relaxation of the penis muscles. Kamagra, when fully absorbed, inhibits PDE5 and thereby relaxes the muscles to allow healthy erection. But you need not worry if you don’t indulge in any sexual activity after its consumption. It will be automatically eliminated out of your body.

Like all pills, even this has its side effects; but with Kamagra, the fallouts are mild and short-lived. Congestion, diarrhea, headaches, urinary tract infections, facial flushing, etc. are some of its side effects. However, the effectiveness of this oral medicine Kamagra has been tested over the years and across all age groups. Kamagra-treated patients have shown 80% improvement in terms of erection, penetration and maintaining the erection over a longer period of time.

However, it is important to remember that Kamagra should not be consumed just because you haven’t had an intercourse for a long time. In such a case, it is always advised to consult a medical practitioner. Also, Kamagra is not provided without a prescription and even if you have ordered it online, your medical profile is reviewed before the delivery.

At the end of it, you should never self-medicate yourself to Kamagra. Your medical history needs to be evaluated before recommending it because it is fatal to individuals who are under any other medication containing nitrates. So be on your guard and proceed only after you get a green signal from the doctor. With that ensured, the rewards are far-reaching.

Back Hair Trimmer - Mangroomer Product Review

Shaving back hair used to be a no no in view of the high risk of ingrown hairs in this hard to reach area. Now it is possible to buy an electric back hair trimmer which gets to all those inaccessible areas so a man with unwanted back hair can perform the procedure conveniently at home. (See resource box)

The manufacturer lists the following features in the promotional material:

  • The Mangroomer back hair trimmer features a 1.5 inch blade at the end of an adjustable and extendable handle which opens to 135 degrees.
  • The handle locks at various positions to allow the user to reach any area of the back.
  • It comes in a lightweight design and easily folds away.
  • A close smooth shave is possible without the risk of ingrown hair.

But does this back hair trimmer really do the job? Is it just a gimmick?

Here are some answers from users:

One user said he found it difficult to master the handle to get the right angles initially but after some practice it was possible to reach the previously inaccessible parts of the back. Also skin irritation was a problem at first but after using a mirror and gaining experience with the back hair trimmer, the irritation minimized and now the user feels he has certainly got value for money. It was also useful for neck hair in his case.

One user advised against pressing too hard in order to reduce the risk of skin irritation.

Opinions varied on how close a shave is possible with the Mangroomer back hair trimmer. Some were very happy and managed to get a very close, smooth, shave. Others couldn’t get the same results and also mentioned the risk of scratching the back with this device.

It is obvious from the feedback that mastery of this back hair trimmer is very much an individual thing, depending on how adept a person is at moving the hand, wrist and arm at new angles and in new ways. Overall, the comments have been very positive and it seems the majority are able to get satisfactory results with a little practice.

Some Negative Comments

Some negative comments were received about the quality of the materials used. Some felt it was a little too lightweight and might break easily. In other cases, some viewed this as an advantage, as the lightweight design made it easy to carry and use.

The time it takes to use the back hair trimmer will of course vary from person to person depending on the density of hair growth. However, for a man with moderate unwanted hair growth, it seems possible to complete the shaving session in under 5 minutes once the back hair trimmer has been used a number of times to gain experience.

Overall High Approval Rating

Compared to other methods of hair removal, the Mangroomer back hair trimmer received a high approval rate. Some men had tried depilatories and couldn’t stand the smell. Others tried waxing and found the pain level too high plus the inconvenience and expense of having to visit salons regularly. Laser and electrolysis are of course quite expensive for such a large area.

So in weighing up the pros and cons it seems a back hair trimmer is certainly worth considering for men with problem back hair.

A small number of comments were negative and the users felt it was more of a gimmick, failing to deliver the results they expected. However, to be fair, out of all the feedback received, 9 out of 10 users gave a positive comment which is quite convincing.
The Mangroomer back hair trimmer is battery operated and many users find they can go for 6 or 7 sessions without having to replace the batteries.

As for customer service, the supplier received high ratings. In one or two cases, customers received a faulty device. The company was swift to send a replacement with no hassle.

One final tip: Following up back hair removal sessions with a hair inhibitor is also worth trying. Hair inhibitors don’t work for everyone but as they come with a money back guarantee there is really nothing to lose.

By getting a partner to rub the hair inhibitor into the back area right after a session with the back hair trimmer, a reduction in hair growth will be seen as the weeks go by. Eventually many men find they do not need to carry out the back hair removal procedure nearly as often and the hair that does grow back is easier to remove. See the resource box for details:

Setting Yourself Up for Success - Setting Goals That Help You Be Successful

You hear and read a lot about making your goals challenging.

That is all well and good, and I of course recommend that you do stretch yourself and try to do something a little better, a little more often (or a little less, depending on the goal :-), but who decides just how tough your goal needs to be?

You.

You know yourself. If you need a tough goal to stay motivated, then by all means you should be setting the bar high and striving to clear it.

But on the other hand, if you set your goals too high in the first place, you are sometimes, at a sub-conscious level, setting yourself up for failure since you know, deep down, that it is not really possible for you to put a million dollars into your bank account this month, right?

This is something that may take a little trial and error (doesn’t much of life? :-) but start with a goal of increasing your current efforts/results by %10.

Depending on the goals area this might prove difficult enough, or it might seem to easy.

Hey, no one ever said it had to be difficult, eh?

Check your results. How do you feel about that? Were you successful? Should you raise the goal?
You might find that shortening and lengthening the time frame for your goals will work in the same fashion.

That is, giving yourself a somewhat easier goal but pushing yourself to accomplish it a little quicker this time.

One of the really neat effects of this type of maneuvering is that you can decrease the time for say losing 5 pounds. Do this for one or two cycles. Then, go back to your original time frame.

You guessed it. It will appear much easier to accomplish and you will most likely still make that goal quicker than you scheduled.

This also helps to nullify the boredom factor, one of the toughest things we all face when working on a regular basis towards our desired goals.

So, mix it up. Raise the bar a little this time, shorten the time frame for the next cycle, raise the bar a little more for the next round and give yourself what you think is enough time, then go back to your original schedule.

You will see results, quite possibly better than ever before, and you will also feel much, much better about staying after it.

And that is one of the keys to not just setting, but ‘getting’ your goals, perseverance.
