Business Partners - Downline Team Members Who Get Results

With out a doubt, one of the secrets in MLM or Network Marketing is finding the RIGHT people to work with. It doesn’t matter if you have just one person in your organization or if you have thousands. You want to work with the right people. The really big hitters in this industry all know that their time is absolutely critical, so they learn to work with the right people.

There’s at least 4 things that are really important to find in your Business Partners.

  1. A Burning Desire
  2. Teachable & Coachable
  3. Willing to Invest Time
  4. Willing to Invest Money

This article will focus on why you need to work with team members who are Teachable and Coachable.

People who ARE Teachable and Coachable are people who will simply follow your leadership and your system. They are the ones that you tell to use the tools and they actually use the tools. They ask good questions. They are exciting to work with because they follow the plan, and they get results.

People who AREN’T Teachable and Coachable want to challenge everything you say. They drain your batteries. It’s painful to work with them because they’re going to waste your time, Ignore what you say, and then blame YOU when they don’t get results.

Experienced networker marketers know to work with people where they are. If someone won’t listen, you really can’t make them. So as a Network Marketer with hopes of reaching your dreams and helping other people, you have to learn how to pour your energy into the ones who WILL listen.

Most inexperienced network marketers have this experience exactly backwards. They pour all their energy into dragging people across the finish line, and leaving the people who really want success to fend for themselves. Unfortunately when you drain your batteries on the wrong people, you don’t have any energy left for the good people who deserve your time.

So what do I do with this? It’s simple. Reserve your time to personally work with people who deserve your time. When you give your personal time to people who waste your time it leaves you spent, and your it leaves your deserving team members with out your best. Support the rest of your partners with your group meetings, trainings, and conference calls. When they are ready to move forward you can always give them more of your support.

Shoulder Pain - Pain Between The Shoulder Blades - Role Of Rhomboid Major And Minor

Pain and spasm of these muscles give rise to shoulder pain and pain between the shoulder blades. Rhomboid major and minor lie between the shoulder blades and the shoulder pain and pain between the shoulder blades is a combination of tightness and spasm in the middle and lower trapezius muscles in adition to pain from the rhomboid muscles.

The rhomboid minor arises higher from the C7 to T2 levels. The rhomboid major muscle arises from the middle back vertebrae between T2 to T5 levels. They insert along the inner border of the shoulder blade.

These muscles act to bring the shoulder blades together toward the midline. They are also responsible for keeping the shoulder blade flat against the chest wall. They can rotate the shoulder blade in a clockwise direction.

The dorsal scapula nerve supplies them and provides the C5 nerve root fibers. The rhomboid muscles are the only muscles of the body that has only a single nerve root supply. It is difficult to isolate these muscles to contract alone since they are covered by the trapezius muscle. Therefore they are treated in conjunction with the trapezius muscles.

Shoulder pain: The role of teres major as a helper to latissimus dorsi
Shoulder pain can occur with pain and spasm in the teres major. This is one of the three muscles that perform shoulder extension, the other two being deltoid and latissimus dorsi muscles. It is therefore exposed to frequent lengthening contractions and prone to injury giving rise to shoulder pain.

Teres major arises from the back of the lower angle of the shoulder blade bone and attaches to the inner lip of the groove on the arm bone along which the tendon of the biceps muscle passes through. This groove is called the bicipital groove and on the outer aspect of this groove is attachment of the pectoralis major muscle. The latissimus dorsi attaches to the floor of the groove.

This muscle is supplied by the subscapular nerve which carries the fibers of the C5 and C6 nerve roots. The function of teres major is exactly similar to that of latissimus dorsi. It brings the arm close to the chest, pulls it backwards and also rolls it inward as in scratching your back or placing your hand into your hip pocket.

Pain in this muscle is felt along the outer edge of the shoulder blade bone and this area is often tender even in those without pain. This muscle is treated together with latissimus dorsi.

Jennifer Chu, M.D. emeritus professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, pioneered eToims Twitch Relief Method that utilizes surface electrical stimulation to locate motor points (trigger points). The motor points are then stimulated to induce strong local muscle contractions, termed twitches. This results in reduced muscle pain and discomfort in the areas that were stimulated. The involved pain/discomfort-relieving mechanism is thought to include local muscle exercise and stretch effects.

Nanotechnology, Genetic Engineering & Robotics - Doomsday or Miracle?

Advances in nanotechnology have proven that incredible progress is not only possible today and in the future, it is pretty well inevitable. Fantastic advances in nanotechnologic medical research have resulted in life saving techniques that were unheard of even a decade ago.

Genetic engineering research and development provides a means of revolutionizing agricultural output by enhancing crop yields while encouraging a decrease in the necessity for pesticides. It also holds out a promise of attaining newer, improved species of plants and animals, the ability to someday replace or supplement reproduction with cloning and the hope that cures will be developed for many fatal and debilitating diseases, which can only result in increased life spans and improved quality of life.

Robotic engineers firmly believe that development of a truly intelligent machine that is capable of performing most tasks better than humans will be perfected within our lifetime. They envision a time when a highly organized system of machines will perform all tasks with little or no human input.

It is not hard to imagine the revolutionary advancements that are possible if nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics combine their expertise in future technological advancements. Either the result will be a utopian world free of disease or pestilence or a jumbled chaos of grey goo and confusion.

Regardless of the outcome, it is inevitable that the future holds profound changes because of nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics, whether the accomplishments are made on their own or as a result of a coordinated effort. Along with the imminent progression, however, we must also be aware of the philosophical, moral and ethical issues that will come about as a result of biological change.

In addition to the potential threat from the unleashed power of nanotechnology based scientific advancements, there is also the promise of an improved future for mankind and the world in which he dwells. The line of demarcation is thin and easily crossed and therefore great care and planning must go hand in hand with technological advances.

Naysayers are quick to point out the many pitfalls of unbridled nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics research and implementation; however, to the chagrin of futurists, these non-progressive individuals fail to fully conceive of the many benefits these scientific advancements can and will provide. Progressive thinkers are quick to embrace the very real possibility of incredibly low-cost solar power, cures for debilitating disease via intensification of the human immune system, the ability to clean up our environment and the overall improvement of human existence that is not only possible but entirely plausible in the very near future because of nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics.

So, are nanotechnology, genetic engineering and robotics to be feared as an impending doomsday event or should they be embraced as miracles of the future? Only by carefully reviewing the past while embracing the future will we be able to tell. After all, if we are willing to build an artificial brain, we must be willing to construct one that is able to see what we cannot.

When Should Anti-Tnf Drugs Be Switched In Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Today the aggressive management of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) usually consists of a combination of methotrexate and anti- tumor necrosis (TNF) therapy.

Anti-TNF drugs block the effects of tumor necrosis factor (TNF). TNF is a cytokine (protein messenger) that promotes and perpetuates inflammation.

Approximately 60-70 percent of patients will respond to their initial anti-TNF drug when it is combined with methotrexate. There are three anti-TNF drugs available. These are etanercept (Enbrel), adalimumab (Humira), and infliximab (Remicade).

The response to an anti-TNF drug can assume different patterns. One, a patient may not respond at all. Second, a patient may respond but incompletely. Third, a patient may have a good initial response but lose that response over time.

Generally, once we start an anti-TNF drug, we’ll wait two to three months before making decisions regarding whether a change to a different anti-TNF drug is needed.

In the experience of many rheumatologists, If a patient does not respond to the first TNF blocker after two or three months, switching to another will increase their chance of benefit. It is possible that a patient who does not respond to one anti-TNF drug will respond to another.

Sometimes, even if a patient has not responded to two of the anti-TNF drugs, a third can still be tried.
Occasionally, a patient may have a break in their treatment. It is all right for them to get back on their anti-TNF drug and it will generally still work as well. Patients who have been on infliximab should be monitored carefully because a break in therapy can lead to an infusion reaction if a patient has not had infliximab for a prolonged period of time and then restarts it.

One drug that is used, rarely, is anakinra (Kineret). This is a drug that blocks another cytokine (protein messenger) called interleukin -1. Kineret requires a daily injection and is not particularly effective.

In patients who have failed two or three anti-TNF drugs, the next step is a second generation biologic, either rituximab (Rituxan) or abatacept (Orencia). Rituxan acts on B cells and Orencia acts on T-cells. Both B and T cells are felt to play major roles in perpetuating RA. Neither Rituxan nor Orencia should be combined with anti-TNF drugs.

How to Be a Successful Blogger

Successful bloggers. What do they have in common? A great number of links? The “blogging guru” appellative? Great ideas? A little bit of everything? Is there a recipe to make a successful blogger; something like: take one part knowledge, two parts benevolence, a teaspoon of helpfulness, a sprinkle of talent and a dash of ambition, shake well and gently poor the blend (evenly) over a Web space? What does it take to become a successful blogger anyway?

The answers come from the best. And the best are those people who are living brands: Darren Rowse, Liz Strauss, Michael Arrington, Yaro Starak, Jeffrey Zeldman, Scott Adams, Lorelle Van Fossen to name just a few. These bloggers have indeed in common the “blogging guru” appellative, great ideas and thousands of links pointing at their sites. But these traits mean nothing in comparison to their real strength: all of them master the art of online communication. Add to this power the ability to build strong (and real) human relationships and you’ve got yourself a magic formula.

So if you want to learn how to be a successful blogger, all you have to do is read their blogs and join the conversation. Connecting with these bloggers means learning and growing. Let’s summarize a few successful blogger traits, shall we? Passion. If you don’t have passion for what you do you are doomed to fail. Successful bloggers are passionate about their writing; they take their blogs to the next level through carefully chosen topics, fervent debates and enthusiastic follow-ups.

Successful bloggers have a great (core) ability to “listen” and this is certainly something you need to learn if you want to become half as successful as the ones mentioned above. You cannot be a successful blogger if you don’t know what people desire, what their dreams are and what they need. Listen first, write after and whatever you do, don’t stop the conversation.

Engage in a virtual dialogue with your readers. Dialogue (conversation) is the blood life of a successful blog. So enable your comments and don’t forget to answer whenever your readers post a comment! There is one rule to it: be polite. Play fair. Some readers might not agree to what you say. Don’t delete their comments (unless they are offensive, racist, disrespectful or anything of the kind) just to make yourself look good. You need to play fair if you want people to trust you. And trust is another important attribute common to successful bloggers. You don’t need to pretend to be something you are not to be successful.

Become the resource. This was stated so often that it became a cliché. But how else do you expect people to come back to you if you are not a resource? “To gain is to give”. Successful bloggers don’t make their art a secret. They share knowledge, give advice, teach and guide, lead and serve at the same time.

Network. You don’t always need to join blogger social networks to network. You need to interact, exchange ideas and talk. The conversation can happen on other blogs of note too, whether related to your niche or not. The most important aspect of networking is to create genuine human relations. As Liz Strauss says: “Relationships are everyone’s business and every business is about relationships.” So go on, read other blogs, and acknowledge their value.

Treat your blog like you treat a business. If you want to become a professional blogger you need to prove proficiency, dedication, consistency and quality.

Understand that successful blogging is not about links, not about traffic, but about people, communication, relationships and trust.

Acid Reflux Medicine - Treatment For A Very Personal Issue

Acid reflux is a very personal thing and your symptoms will determine the best way to resolve this condition for you. First, before treating a condition as acid reflux, it is important to determine if your symptoms are truly caused by acid reflux or some other condition. More serious conditions can masquerade as acid reflux when, in fact, they might require more serious treatment and even indicate a need for the care of a physician. However, if acid reflux is the culprit, treatment mainly consists of changing lifestyle issues that trigger symptoms coupled with acid reflux medicine such as antacid medications to help relieve the acid reflux symptoms for you.

The key medical treatment for acid reflux is to merely change your dietary lifestyle. The foods you eat serve to either heal or harm your system. Simply changing what you eat is the primary medical recommendation for anyone diagnosed with acid reflux before acid reflux medicine is prescribed.

For some individuals, though, a simple dietary lifestyle change may not be sufficient to alleviate the acid reflux symptoms. The second line of defense used to treat acid reflux is antacids. These acid reflux medicines are effective against acid reflux because they reduce the amount of acid present in the stomach. Foods that generate acid reflux within your digestive system do so by causing harmful chemical reactions within your digestive system resulting in what is known as acid reflux. If there is less acid present, there is naturally a lesser occurrence of acid reflux.

Unfortunately, this naturally-occurring acid is necessary for normal digestion and using acid reflux medicine like antacids to remove excess acid harms the digestive system if they are used routinely. Antacids may relieve acid reflux, but the down-side is using them routinely reduces your body’s ability to digest food properly. Removing the harmful reactions with antacids reduces the chance acid reflux will occur but, at the same time, you are damaging your body’s ability to digest food.

The simplest lifestyle adjustments have a far greater impact on acid reflux than do acid reflux medicine such as antacids. Just as diet can increase acid reflux, so can merely lying down. When your body is lying down, acid can easily reverse its flow and seep up the esophagus, causing you to experience acid reflux. Gravity also causes a prone body to experience more acid flow. Therefore, acid reflux often increases shortly after you lie down. Sleeping partially sitting up may reduce this flow of acid. While acid reflux medicine like antacids may reduce acid reflux once acid begins flowing up the esophagus, an elevated sleeping position serves to prevent the flow without the intervention of antacids.

Finding the Right Home Air Purifier for Your Needs

If you are in the market for a home air purifier you should make sure that you understand why you are getting one in the first place. A home air purifier can help you breathe better, have fewer allergies, and even help with sleeping at night. This article will look at some of the key benefits you should consider when purchasing your next home air purifier.

You may have been in a home recently, and heard a light buzzing sound or something that closely resembled a cat purring in the background. No, that is not a cat with a bad cold, but rather it was most likely a home air purifier.

Home air purifiers come in all shapes and sizes. It really depends on the size of room you are trying to use it for. The most common places to use a home air purifier are in the bedroom and living room area. You should not be as concerned about how they sound, but more in how they perform. You see commercials all the time advertising the latest home air purifier. They talk about how convenient they are and how quite they run. I am more concerned about what it will do for my health. I hope you are too.

The filter systems in a home air purifier are one of the most, if not the most, important factor to consider. Some filters can be quite expensive. You should check to make sure the cost to maintain your home air purifier is not out of reason. There are plenty of good systems on the market today that will not cost you an arm and a leg to operate.

The maintenance is the second most important factor to consider in your home air purifier. How easy is it to clean and keep up? You should also ask how long the warranty is good for. Will you need to ship it anywhere should it need repair? These are some very important factors to consider.

The third factor to consider in your home air purifier is how cost effective is it to operate? They should have some comparison charts for each model so that you can evaluate the economical factors for each home air purifier you are considering.

Stuck Inside? Need Mosquito Prevention Tactics?

Summertime means camping, family barbeques, star gazing, and many other activities that we love to do in the warm summer evenings. We have shed the woes of ice and snow that gripped us through the winter season, and we are now ready to get back outdoors and enjoy the best that Mother Nature has to offer. However, at times we have to spend summer evenings cowering inside our homes looking out the window into our backyard because the mosquitoes are so bad it is impossible to relax.

Mosquitoes, the scourge of the outdoorsy person and of those who invest time and money into beautiful backyards, can have a serious impact on our comfort level, our health as well as our economic welfare. West Nile virus, mosquito-borne encephalitis, and other sicknesses threaten not only our well-being, but especially that of outdoor workers. Recreational activities are hampered and tourists flock indoors in order to avoid these pests. Do we have to be held hostage by mosquitoes? The answer is no. A strict mosquito prevention regiment can help eliminate mosquitoes and prolong our enjoyment of the outdoors during the summer season.

Mosquito breeding grounds: get them where it counts
Mosquito prevention is a simple task once you get to know the habits of your enemy. Most important in the battle is to eliminate the mosquito’s breeding grounds.

1. The first step is to eradicate any standing or stagnant water on your property. Get rid of all things that can catch and hold water such as:

- Containers

- Old tires

- Horse troughs

- Bird baths

- Small ponds

It is also important to repair any leaky hoses you might have to water lawns or gardens, and defective sprinkler systems as they can cause water to collect.

2. The second step is irrigation control. If you are an avid gardener or farmer, it is imperative that all ground indentations in your garden, yard or pasture be filled to prevent the collection of water that causes puddles. Never over irrigate your fields or gardens. Water should never stand for more than 3 days. Pond owners must avoid algae build-up and growth of vegetation in water.

3. Some final measures in mosquito prevention are:

- Close all septic openings including tanks, cleanout plugs, and inspection hatches

- Do not leave water standing in children’s wading pools and toys, flower pots, watering cans and farming equipment.

By following a few simple guidelines, the mosquito population around your property can be greatly reduced. Spend more time outdoors without hassle and itchy bug bites. Initiate your mosquito prevention regime today.

Finding Money for Rehabbing Property

If you are just beginning in the real estate investment business, it may be hard to find money to fund your deals. Especially in the beginning, it’s going to be hard for you to establish relationships with the right people with no experience. My suggestion is to polish up on your lingo so it seems like you have a little experience. When you approach all of your favorite doctors, lawyers, real estate investors, family and friends with retirement accounts you sound like you are an expert. Go in head strong like you own the place. Trust me you’ll become and expert before you know it.

People love to make money and people really love to make money doing nothing and that’s what you are going to allow them to do. You take the back ache off of them. When you meet them for the first time be sure you are very professional and decide what rate of interest you are willing to pay. Usually in cases like this you can expect to pay 10-16% to borrow their money. Don’t forget it is risky for them and you want the to be able to win too. Create win wins for both of you. Always keep your word with potential investors in your business. If you say you are meeting them at 2:00 pm for a meeting, be there waiting on them at 1:45. Their time is valuable. Don’t hold them hostage for 9 hours. Keep your meeting short and to the point.

Do your homework. Do not go into your meeting sounding like an idiot. It is your time to shine. If you really want it, they will know it. Do not cut yourself short by consistently reassuring them. Stay confident and close. Also - do not give up if the first person you approach doesn’t work the way you intended it to. Stay focused and determined to go to the next. Keep your message simple and to the point. Make it look like you have a way for them to make a lot of money without lifting a finger. Most of the time, they will jump at the opportunity if it looks good.

Remember - In the real estate business, the most successful people make quick decisions. They do not sit around and ponder ideas. They take action and go with the flow.
