Have you ever heard of Holly Mann? I wouldn’t blame you if it you haven’t. You’ve probably heard of more familiar names like Stone Evans, Mike Filsaime and Derek Gehl, all successful Internet marketers in their own right.
So just who is Holly Mann? I would describe her as a mother turned very successful internet entrepreneur who keeps a rather low profile and prefers to stay out of the limelight and simply goes about attending to her online businesses and closely knit support forum daily.
Nevertheless, she has earned the respect of her peers ever since she burst into the Internet marketing scene not too long ago. As a matter of fact, Honest Riches 2 is the updated version of her original work, Thank You Rich Jerk also known as Honest Riches — Breakthrough Money Making Secrets Revealed.
Now on to the meaty stuff. So what does Holly has in store for us this time?
Honest Riches 2 has 12 chapters spread out in 95 pages, a significant increase to the first book, which was 56 pages long. From what I see, Holly’s trademark sweet and simple style of writing is still there. She still makes a conscious effort to connect with her readers as she keeps all the technical terms and jargons to a minimum to facilitate better understanding.
The first chapter focuses on business legalities such as tax matters and business registration. Having the IRS come knocking at your door on a beautiful Monday morning is the last thing that you want.
Assuming that you’re a newbie, be prepared to enter the Affiliate marketing world. You’ll learn of its advantages as well as how to start off. Yes, it’s time to get out of that well. You do not need a product of your own to start an online business. There’s also a helpful section on affiliate programs for non-US residents to take part in. Chances are, you’re most likely to be fired up after reading on this subject.
Chapter 3 is perhaps the most important chapter of all. Whether you’re doing business online or offline, this is where you begin your journey. You will be taught how to conduct a proper research for your online business and pointed to the right resources that you need for this purpose. Master the tips here and you’ll be well prepared to promote your products/services in chapter 4, where Holly shows you the internet’s hotspotsfor business promotion, even if you don’t have a website. Things get a little more technical in Website Design and Development but Holly does a good job in pacing you through the basics in a step-by-step tutorial on setting up a website, from start to finish.
Moving on to chapter 6, you’ll discover some of the web’s free tools and resources that could possibly save you a lot of money here. This section will definitely benefit those who are starting out on a tight budget.
You know those websites that only show a bunch of ads, blinking banners and nothing else? Do NOT emulate those because you’ll be wasting your time and effort and moreover, search engines regard them as junk sites and detest them. There is a more effective way to doing this and this is covered in chapter 7.
Strategies on the art of fine tuning your website to increase the number of targeted visitors, commonly known as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), can be found in the following chapter. As in chapter 5, a step-by-step process on implementing these strategies has been laid out in its simplest form.
Is it possible for your Internet business to run without you? As a result of technological advances, chapter nine shows you how by harnessing the power of business automation technology. A valuable tip on long-term business sustainability is also revealed here.
Increasing search engine visibility and getting visitor traffic are the main objectives of the tenth chapter — Advertising. In fact, the tips here complement with the SEO strategies in chapter 8. Traffic is the lifeblood of any Internet business and effective implementation of the strategies found here could possibly contribute positively towards increased revenue generation.
If you have specialized knowledge and expertise that you’ve been storing in your head or hard disk all these years, you may want to consider selling it on the web in the form of an ebook. The second last chapter of Honest Riches 2 is a very helpful resource to turn to.
As for the final chapter, I won’t be reviewing it simply because it’s a bonus chapter. Bonus and surprises are the same thing and I definitely do not want to spoil them at your expense. All I am willing to reveal is that Holly was generous enough to offer more information on possible ways to earn income online.
On another note, I find Honest Riches 2 lacking in some areas. If it were up to me, I’d include a comprehensive index on the commonly used terms in Internet marketing. This would definitely be a good primer for beginners. Secondly, the recommended resources that are required to set up an online business are rather limited. Having more recommendations would mean more choices and save valuable time.
All in all, Honest Riches 2 offers plenty of essential and educational information that provides a strong foundation, a boot camp if you like, for beginners. The white hat methods and strategies revealed in this ebook are in a word – invigorating. Advanced Internet marketers will also benefit from some gems of information that may help to further enhance their bottom line.
The last time I checked, Honest Riches 2 is still, in my view, under priced considering the truckload of information that’s in there.
