10 Killer Ways To Multiply Your Sales

1. Right after a customer places an order send him over to another page that offers the opportunity to join your affiliate program for free. This has the effect of compounding the power of that sale which can lead to many more sales.

2. I don’t see very many people doing this online. Sell gift certificates to your online store. Possibly in one hundred dollar increments. Give them a discount by saying that they can purchase a $100 gift certificate for only $90.

3. The upsell. When customers are at your order page they are in the “buy mindset” so why not ask them if they would like to order additional related products. It doesn’t hurt to ask.

4. Send free promotional merchandise with the packages you ship out to your customers. Maybe a hat with your domain name printed on it or a bumper sticker with some funny saying on it along with your domain name. Try giving away a t-shirt with your domain printed on it. Your customer gets added value and you get more exposure and traffic.

5. You can send out upgrade offers to your existing buyers. Tell them there are some hot new improvements to the product or products they currently own and they need the new updates to increase the value of them. And of course offer them a discount because they are an existing customer.

6. Cross promote deals. If you have an ezine list and you know someone else that has a list equal to the size of your list, ask them to run your ad to their list and in exchange you’ll run their ad on your list.

7. Selling the duplication rights to your products really increases their value. You could include a sales letter to sell it and put in some back end links in the product which promotes your other products.

8. When shipping out products to your buyers be sure to include ads for other related products and services. The cost is low and the return is very high with this technique. I’ve tested this myself and it works incredibly well.

9. Let your customers know that they when they refer three paying customers then you’ll give them a full rebate of what they paid for their products. That’ll give your customers some motivation to send traffic over to your site.

10. Follow up is critical. After a lead becomes a buyer go ahead and send him a thank you note that personally comes from you. The best way to do this is by finding one of those ink based information recording devices (a pen) and send it through the good ol’ postal service. I mean, think about this. When was the last time you received a handwritten thank you note? The impact that has is far reaching and definitely leaves a long lasting impression. That in turn causes the customer to REMEMBER you and that increases the chances that he will buy from you again later. Oh you think that’s too much work? Well that’s what other businesses think too and that is exactly why this works to make you and your business stand out from all the others.
