5 Ways To Change From A Sales Failure Mindset To Sales Success Mindset

Sales can be one of the most difficult aspects of business. It can also be one of the most exciting and interesting parts. Many companies struggle with sale after sale resulting in failure. This only yields more difficulty and discouragement in sales. If you are one of the people who have experienced failure in sales, it’s time to change your mindset! After reading this article you will have learned 5 ways to change from a sales failure mindset to a sales success mindset.

Before we discuss how to improve your mindset, let’s review a few of the most important aspects to having successful sales in general. First, you need to correctly target your buyers. When doing any kind of sales, you’ll get much better results if the people or companies you’re selling to are actually interested in your product. Doing a small amount of research before trying to sell your product can greatly improve your success rate. Next, you need to be sure that your product is a quality product that people will actually use. Doing research on this aspect of sales is also imperative. Next, you need an awesome sales team. If you don’t already have one, look to hire sales reps that are adaptable, articulate, energetic, confident, and self-reliant. Your sales reps can make all the difference in your rate of success. And finally, you must continue training your sales team to ensure the best possible sales.

Now onto the five was to change from a sales failure mindset to a sales success mindset:

1. Have vision and focus. People who are successful are in the habit of looking forward to the future-to ask themselves what innovations might help improve their current state. A creative mind can see beyond the present and see the vision of possibilities that failure often clouds.

2. Take calculated risks. We’ve all heard stories of people who made giant leaps of faith and landed on successful terrain. Successful people are not afraid of risks. They view them as probabilities that could result in some very profitable outcomes. Just remember that we’re talking about calculated risks. This means you should know the possible benefits and disadvantages of your risk before you jump into it.

3. Don’t blame others. Successful people don’t waste time blaming others for what went wrong. You can try and blame your sales reps for taking too calculated of a risk, or your manufacturing coordinator for not creating a quality product, but it will never do you any good. Instead, roll up your sleeves and do something about it. Take responsibility for the action. Make decisions that will help correct the problem, don’t just sit and gripe about it.

4. Learn to network. Success oriented people recognize the value of a social network. People can often be your greatest asset. If you’ve been struggling with sales failure after failure, perhaps it is time that you look to other successful people for some help. Everyone needs a helping hand once in a while. And creating a network of people that have the knowledge and talent that you may be lacking at this moment in time can help change your mindset to one of success.

5. Start small. Sometimes one of the best ways to improve your mindset is to start out small. So maybe you’ve been suffering from some set-backs. Move on. Pick something that you’re relatively sure will succeed. Think small. And then market that product with all your heart. Once you’ve proudly achieved a small success with that product, move onto something a bit more complicated. Continue this process until you’ve regained a sales success mindset.

Motorcycle Saddlebags History

Saddlebags are most commonly used to carry luggage on a motorcycle. There are 2 major kinds of motorcycle saddlebags. Throw over saddlebags and hard mount saddlebags. The concept of hard mount saddlebags originated from throw over saddlebags which were used in early 1950 for the first time.

As the motorcycle industry experienced a big boom in 1960 especially after the Vietnam War the motorcycle luggage also evolved. As major motorcycle companies launched bigger and better motorcycle people started traveling farther on there motorcycles. Many riders formed groups and rode cross country and from city to city. The throw over style of saddlebags was soon replaced by a better and more reliable way of carrying luggage. A group of riders drilled several holes in the back fender of their motorcycles in order to permanently bolt the saddlebags to the motorcycle. This permanent installation resulted in the saddlebags being more reliable and sturdy. This step also contributed towards the aesthetic appeal of the motorcycle. The trend soon gained popularity amongst the riders. Motorcycle companies like Indian Motorcycle Company and Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company noticed this trend and soon started producing motorcycles with struts. The struts enabled motorcycle riders to bolt the motorcycle saddlebags without making any permanent changes to the motorcycle such as drilling holes in the back fender. Later the same strut enables other accessories to be securely mounted on a motorcycle such as motorcycle carrier and sissy bars.

As the Asian motorcycle manufacturers such as Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha made their way into North American market they also made sure that the riders get enough room for the luggage. Yamaha motorcycles are a classic example of this as they manufacture most of their bikes with most room for the saddlebags. They also make sure that the turn signal does not interfere with the saddlebags, a common problem with smaller motorcycles. In 1980 the motorcycle companies realized that most 1000 cc and above motorcycles are used for long rides. To further add value to their motorcycles they started selling motorcycles with fiber glass saddlebags. These motorcycles did well as most of these came with the motorcycle specific luggage. This also saved the motorcycle rider a lot of time and headache.

Despite the popularity of factory installed saddlebags motorcycle riders still prefer leather saddlebags in most cases. This is due to the fact that motorcycles leather saddlebags can be customized to a greater degree as opposed to motorcycle specific fiber glass bags.

Most early motorcycle saddlebag companies used studs, spots and conchs to decorate the saddlebags. Recently the more advanced motorcycle saddlebag companies have started manufacturing and offering saddlebags that are not only motorcycle specific but also match the color of the motorcycle. Another approach is to design the leather motorcycle saddle bags in such a way that it blends in with the overall design of the motorcycle. These advancements have resulted in more and more people willing to install saddlebags on their motorcycles.

Recruitment Outsourcing

There are of course, certain reasons driving people to start outsourcing human resources abroad. One of the most obvious reasons lies in the low cost of recruitment. Recruitment outsourcing is also gaining popularity because it makes the whole process faster. Besides, outsourcing centers offer enhanced recruitment quality. The respondents presently delegate the recruitment operations, connected with background checks, sourcing, screening and testing, application tracking systems, and name generation.

Despite the growing number of unemployed and those, willing to find a job, the recruiting process has not become easier. The great amount of applicants only add up to the job of the human resources team. The increased number of cvs of those, who do not clearly match the expectations of the future employer, makes the hiring process much longer and more complicated. At the same time, the qualified applicants may be waiting in the long list and simply be employed by other agencies or companies. Also, the expenses of the recruitment department may be rather limited by the senior executives. If so, it is high time to think about the recruitment outsourcing as a way to reduce the costs and free up resources for more important activities.

Recruitment outsourcing is an important operation of the business, which cannot be underestimated. The success of each business depends on the high expertise and professionalism of the employees, working for a company. Most recruitment outsourcing centers clearly understand this and have a very strict attitude towards the possible employees. They strive at presenting candidates, who are 100 percent of what the company is searching for, or at least 99 percent. Recruitment outsourcing centers can also take care of leadership development, performance management, succession planning, as well as a great number of other HR functions.

Recruitment outsourcing centers are specially founded to optimize the staffing need of the business with the help of full-service recruiting, specific staffing technologies and techniques, hiring process re-engineering, and recruitment marketing. Their services can either substitute, or strengthen the existing hiring process and can fully fulfill the hiring needs of any company.

5 Tips To Make Your Cold Calls More Successful

Cold calls. How can two words strike such fear into the hearts of customer and sales person alike? But they do. Customers dread receiving cold calls. Sales people dread picking up the phone and making cold calls. But yet they’re a necessary part of sales. And moreover, they’ve been proven to be one of the most effective types of sales out there. But how can you make your calls more successful? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place. This article will review five tips to making your cold calls more successful.

1. Correctly target your buyers. When doing cold calls, you’ll get much better results if the people or companies you’re calling are actually interested in your product. Doing a small amount of research before cold calling can greatly improve your success rate. For example, if you’re selling luxury vacation packages and you’re consistently calling low income young families, you probably won’t have much success. But if you call retirees or high income families, you’ll probably have a much higher rate of success. It’s important to know the proper demographic groups in order to correctly target your buyers and achieve sales.

2. Prepare your potential customer. It can greatly improve your rate of success if you don’t have to start from the basics with each call. Before you call, send the prospect a short, useful introductory note to your product. It should briefly describe your product and how it could benefit the customer. Then when you call your prospective customer, s/he is already aware of your product and possibly interested in buying it. This method also allows you to use introductory phrases like “Hi, I’m just following up on the brochure we sent you. Did you receive it?” This makes your cold call much less awkward and improves your chances of success.

3. Calm down. Take a deep breath. Remember that you’re not alone. You’re not the first sales associate to ever make a cold call. Even the most battle-hardened sales person has made cold calls. And it worked for them. Remember that they person you’re speaking to is a stranger and the chances are miniscule that you’ll ever talk to them again. So if you make a fool of yourself, the only people that will know about it are you and the voice on the other line. And the other person will just dismiss you as an irritating sales person. So no worries.

4. Have a good script. One thing that will help your call go more smoothly than anything else is having a good script laid out. No matter how good you are, you probably still can’t wing it. You may be passionate about your product, but it’s inevitable that you’ll leave out a few important details about it if you try to improvise. Also, with limited time on the phone, having a written script lets you focus on the specific points that you want to make. You need to be able to concisely describe your services and the compelling reasons why the prospective customer should buy your product. Remember that the script need not be word for word. But it should prepare you for the conversation and thereby help you gain more sales from each call.

5. Be happy. People are more likely to buy from pleasant, confident sounding people. Be polite when you call. Try your best to sound sincere. Smile while you talk-people can hear it in your voice. If you sound nervous or irritated on the phone people will be suspicious of you and less likely to buy your product. Being warm and friendly to the person on the phone is one of the best and easiest ways to improve your sales. Think of it as “warm calling” rather than cold calling!

What is the potential problem?

The various sides in the wedding party – the bride’s and the groom’s relatives - don’t really get on very well. I am afraid that there might be conflict at the wedding ceremony or at the reception afterwards. This could ruin my special day.

How can I avoid it?

Plan ahead and try to sort things out. It is easier to sort things out before rather than blindly hope that there will be no trouble on the day. How about talking to the different parties and explain how important it is for you to enjoy this memorable day? If I plan this correctly, what can I expect?

The two sides will appreciate you for helping them to get involved and for allowing them to have an enjoyable time on the day too. Their input will be valued. Your wedding will go more smoothly and you will remember it for the good points, not the bad

By following a few simple and basic steps you can ensure that your wedding runs smoothly and trouble-free. Read around, share your concerns and ask others for help.

Reasons to Outsource to Foreign Countries

There are now many reasons for the US and European companies to outsource.

The 1st reason to outsource:

Businesses often outsource when they get a new task, for which they don’t have enough time. An executive understands that the task can be done in-house by the workers, however the employees are so much overloaded with their work, that they simply never get enough time to accomplish the task. Some may ask: why don’t they hire a person to do the job from the neighborhood? The answer is usually the following: the job is too small to hire a person to do it permanently, however it requires certain expertise and special education. And most professionals in the US, for example, who have expertise and education prefer to work full-time.

The 2nd reason to outsource:

The second and probably the most popular reason to outsource has its roots in the fact that many small-scale and large-scale firms do not have enough resources to do the job locally. It is well-known, that outsourcing to foreign countries almost always implies reducing the costs for the job of the employee, as most outsourcing companies are based in the countries with low economies.

The 3rd reason to outsource:

Sometimes a business has to develop a new unique project and naturally wants to launch it before any other competitors. The development can be performed locally but it does take time to find all the necessary resources, and mainly human resources. At the same time, numerous outsourcing centers offer ready-made development teams or can make up a team according to the specific needs of your development project. This can be performed at practically no time, as many outsourcing centers specialize in providing “ready-made” dedicated development teams in practically no time.

The 4th reason to outsource:

Businesses often delegate their back-office operations, as well as many front-office tasks, to companies overseas, when they want to focus on mission-critical issues of the company. The routine work is of course important, however it is not critical to the prosperity of the business and does not directly affect the overall success of the business. Besides, the daily back-office tasks often require a great amount of time, which leaves practically no time for the things that “really matter”.

The 5th reason to outsource:

With the speedy development of new technologies, there often appears a need for a unique specialist, who is not so readily available in the local area, and sometimes even in the country. In such situations the employer has to seek a specialist outside the borders of the country.
There are actually many more factors and reasons to outsource jobs to foreign countries. The most frequent reasons have been listed here, however the list is not full and will most probably be growing.

5 Tips For Choosing The Right Sales Trainer For Your Team

Every successful team has a trainer/coach and you need to find the right trainer for your team in order to reach your goals. There are many different styles of training and coaching. You must find the best trainer to fit your team of professionals to help them reach their sales potentials. Time and resources are limited so you must focus your efforts for the benefit of the team.

Here are five basic steps to consider in finding the best match and getting the most out of any education or training program:

1. Define your goals.
You must be very specific about the key goals you and your team are trying to reach. Your goals needs to be more than putting a number on the wall like, this year we will sell a million dollars worth of product. You will want to focus your goals on the skills you and your team need in order to be successful in sales. Define these goals and write them down. Then put a time frame on when these goals need to be achieved. Now you need to find the trainer or coach that matches the skill sets you are looking for. You can now look for the trainer that will get teach these skills efficiently and effectively. If you are able to achieve these goals, then the million dollars in sales will be achieved.

2. Determining cost.
Too often when a person looks at cost, all they see is how much the item or product will cost them today. Unfortunately, they miss how much the product will cost them if they don’t have it. If a trainer is able to double your sales in a year, what does that cost your company if you don’t pay for the training? You must look at both the cost of the program and the opportunity cost of not obtaining the right training for your employees.

3. Engaged students.
You will want a program that engages the students in their own education in sales. Your company doesn’t need more wasted time or meetings to attend. You want a trainer that puts the training responsibility back on the employee. If you remember your favorite high school or college class you will most likely also remember that it was interesting and engaging. The teacher or trainer called on you to actively participate.

The more participation your team will have while learning sales, the better they will internalize the training. You want a trainer that has the learners listening, discussing, writing, creating, questioning, practicing, and receiving feedback and coaching from the instructor. This active involvement is what leads to the fun and engaging and long-lasting learning.
4. Industry experts.
You want a trainer that has developed his training with the help of industry experts. Quality education programs and training sessions regularly consult with industry experts who understand what the students deal with. This allows them to improve and refine the course better for your employees.

5. Follow-up.
You need a trainer that will provide follow-up for your employees. Education is not a one time event that is forgotten once the schedule is complete. You will need follow-up as your sales force practices the things they have learned in the field. This follow-up can come in a variety of ways or maybe you will need on-going training sessions for a period of time so the students can learn practice and review the materials necessary for success.

In summary, you have hundreds and even thousands of trainers and programs to choose from. You will need to define your goals and then pick the trainer that best fits your sales team and the progress they need to create. Remember the opportunity costs of not providing the correct training
