Firstly, you need to add some spices to your foods. Don’t just be a salt and pepper person, let’s get moving here. Sugar has 4g of carbs per teaspoon, or 15 calories. Does not seem like much, but over the course of a day, week, month, and year, it all adds up. Take a look at what would happen of you stopped drinking sodas. Soda has about 160 calories per 12 oz drink, or 43g of sugar. If you drink one a day, over a year, this is 58,400 calories. There are 3500 calories in 1 lb of fat. For one year, if you stopped drinking soda, you would lose 16 pounds. No real changes here, just not drinking soda anymore.

If you drink tea, here is a double tip for you: drink unsweetened green tea. Green tea is also known for its increasing metabolism properties. And then if you remove the sugar from it, this would be even more weight lost. The average calorie content of an 8oz cup of sweetened tea is 90 calories. So, if you drank 1 cup a day for a year, this would be 32,850 calories. Using the same formula above, if you drank unsweetened tea; it would be a weight loss of 9 lbs. All you are doing here is drinking it without sugar.

So there you are, with some free weight loss tips. Like I said earlier, nothing strenuous here. Just add a little cinnamon or cayenne to some of your foods, and get your metabolism kick started.
