How to Restore your Credit Card Score after Identity Theft

Credit card identity theft where your credit card is stolen, your PIN is stolen or someone opens another credit card in your name, can all be particularly damaging to your credit score. Unfortunately a credit score isn’t so easily restored but there are a couple of things you can do to make the best of the situation and restore it as much as possible. In this article we will look at what you should do before and after credit card identity theft in order to best protect and restore your credit score.

The first thing you should do whenever you receive a new credit card is to make photocopies of both sides of the card and file these away in a safe place. This way if your credit card goes missing or you believe it may have been compromised you can immediately put a stop to it.

Regularly request credit reports on your name. These credit reports will show you whether any other credit cards have been opened in your name that you do not know about. The sooner you find out that a card has been opened in your name that is incorrect the sooner you will be able to put a stop to it and prevent any damage from occurring.

Only carry around with you those credit cards that you are going to be using and try to keep a minimum of credit cards.

If you discover that your credit card has gone missing or if there is any chance that your credit card information may have been compromised and used in credit card identity theft then the first thing you should do is to stop the relevant card or cards. Phone the card issuer and let them know that you believe you may have been a victim of credit card identity theft and if they could immediately put a stop to all purchases on the card.

You should also contact one of the credit card bureaus if you believe you have been a victim of credit card identity theft and report the matter to them. They can then put a fraud alert on your credit report which will make it more difficult for anyone to open another account in your name.

File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and with the local police station where the ID theft took place and give them a copy of your form from the FTC.

By following these preventative measures and taking action if you believe you have been a victim of credit card identity theft you will be in a much better place to restore your credit score if anything does happen and will hopefully be able to prevent too much damage taking place from the start.

The Power of Thought and Physics

When many people think of science, they think of boring lectures and stodgy old men. The reality of it is very different, and physics today is asking questions about the very nature of reality. This is real science the rest of us can use to make our lives better in ways you might not have thought possible.

Since the discovery of the dual nature of light in Thomas Young’s 1803 “double slit experiment,” physicists searched for an explanation. Just 3 years after the electron was discovered in 1897, Max Plank postulated a “granular” or quantum nature of the universe and begun the quest to understand the true nature of the very, very small.

For the next quarter century, Niels Bohr and company found explanations in the form of probability waves. Collectively they invented the new science of Quantum Mechanics that was concerned with just how such probabilities manifest as the observable universe. In short, they predicted that the probability of real, physical outcomes is based upon probability at the atomic level.

In the 1920s, the famous cat-in-a-box postulate of Erwin SchrÖdinger suggested the act of observation is required for any one of infinite possibilities to come true — some are just more likely than others. This thought experiment was instructive because it postulated that when a completely random event takes place, the act of observation is what actually made it so. In conjunction with the rapid discovery of the first batch of predicted particles after the Second World War, the evidence mounted for the chaotic nature of the smallest particles.

Indeed, the quantum model has been very successful. Every particle predicted by the Feynman diagrams of 1949 has been discovered as large enough energies can be harnessed to liberate them from normal matter. Perhaps more importantly, this creates the framework by which we can form a basis for understanding how the human mind could have an effect on the physical world. The decisions and random events in our lives that set things in motions are not determined unless someone looks.

Another important idea came in the late 1950s. Unlike the state of limbo where SchrÖdinger’s cat waits for its fate to be determined until someone opens the box to look, the “many worlds” theory states that each and every decision at the sub-atomic level might come true, creating an entire universe where history unfolds differently. That means that there is one universe with a living cat and another with a dead cat. That is said to happen an infinite number of times somewhere in your universe alone every nanosecond. . It certainly gives the concept of infinity a whole lot more territory!

With the introduction of Bell’s theorem in 1964, the notion of all matter being connected on some fundamental level was laid out. The equation, refined for a decade, gives rise to a mechanism for the entanglement of particle pairs over any amount of space regardless of classical physics«. If all matter were connected on some level, then you would be able to affect one particle by altering the action of another without having to worry about any pesky space-time that might get in the way.

In the 1990s a branch of physics called “string theory” was introduced. Derived from a mathematical equation, it makes some very powerful predictions based upon a premise of our existing in only 3 of 10 dimensions. In this tenth or ultimate dimension, at the heart of all matter in all other dimensions, lies vibrating “strings” of energy. The strings that are the ultimate building blocks of all matter and energy in our 3-dimensional world, are thought to be bound up so small as to be unobservable at this time – that’s why it remains a theory until someone can figure out an experiment to observe one of these impossibly tiny strings.

Of course, what these experiments and theories in physics have in common is their strict relevance to the sub-atomic scale. Only string theory attempts to gulf the chasm between magnitudes of scale. Taking quantum effects to the macro world we normally perceive ourselves in is another thing entirely. Since the action of sub-atomic particles can be defined (in one sense) as waves, they inherently have a frequency, just like a wavelength of light.

Such investigations leave the door wide open for the next level of interaction, where the human mind subtlety influences the outcome of seemingly unrelated sub-atomic events, that then put a chain of events into motion, causing real change in the observable world. As human beings, we are able to imagine things as they are not yet, so we are uniquely suited to utilize our power of imagination to create the world we envision.

This profoundly impacts the way we would try and go about influencing the world when we see ourselves as successful individuals in the mind’s eye. While it is very unlikely the power of any one mind could ever bend a spoon, some experiments suggest a more subtle influence may be had, perhaps influencing sub-atomic “decisions” to your advantage.

Trick Deers With Deer Decoys - No It’s Not Underhand

You can use decoys to make the job of hunting so much easier. You may be wondering why a decoy would be useful, many people think that it
would actually give the game away. But believe it! A decoy will be extreemly helpful to you.

When you want to hunt deer, or any other animal for that matter, then the first thing you need to do is attract the animal towards you. If you make a grunt to call the deer then the other deer will hear it and stop there, they will look around, if they don’t see any other deer then they will run away. However, if you use a decoy then using a grunt call stands more chance of working and attracting deer.

When you will make the grunt call the deer will automatically search around for another deer, when it sees your decoy, the deer will move closer to you. Now it’s time to be ready as your target is getting closer to you. When it comes into range, then you can shoot your hunt, your timing has to be perfect.

This decoy works much better when the animal is in a rut, so you should follow this method in archery season. Don’t forget to use some deer scent on your decoy, it will make the decoy much more attractive to your prey. You can tie a piece of thin plastic string to your decoys tail and hold onto it. Whenever the deer is watching your decoy you can use the string to move the tail, this makes it appear much more lifelike and encourages the deer to come towards you.

You should consider putting the decoy out in an open space so that the deer doesn’t have any trouble seeing it from a distance. You should also take care of your decoy properly, make sure you never leave it outside when you’re not using it. Make sure you place it inside a thick plastic bag so that no dust can get inside. Always use gloves to handle your decoy, otherwise you will give it your scent and may get a hand print on the paintwork. Take care of it while traveling and put it in the outside only when you are using it.

So there you go, decoys really are a great option of attracting your target towards you. If you need to, you can use more than one decoy. Put one decoy behind another one, this makes it much more likely that the deer will approach your decoy. Put scent over all of the decoys and make the grunt sounds so that the deer will search in the direction of that call and come towards you. It’s really a fun when hunting with the help of decoys.

Asian Brands Posted Increased March Sales

With March over, car manufacturers have reported their sales for the said month. The American International Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA) reported that strong sales of Asian brands.

According to the report, international brands have taken 48.4 percent of the U.S. auto market. Leading the way for the international brand are, of course, the surging Asian brands of Toyota, Honda, and Nissan. But aside from Japan’s version of the Big Three, other Asian brands have also posted strong sales in the United States. Their increased sales for the past month have increased the hold of international brands on the U.S. auto market.

Aside from Toyota, Honda and Nissan, Mazda also posted increased sales for the month of March this year. The Ford Motor Company affiliate posted a notable increase in sales of 47.9 percent. The company sold 37,742 units in the United States and helped the company achieved its best March sales since 1994. For the first three months of the year, Mazda has already sold 79,074 units which equals to an increase of 17.5 percent compared to the first quarter sales in 2006.

The best selling model for the Japanese brand is the popular Mazda3 which has posting sales of 15,606 units. The Mazda6, the CX-9, and the MX-5 Miata also posted good sales figures to help the auto manufacturer increase March sales.

While Subaru may have posted a 5.4 percent sales slip for the month of March, the company’s passenger car sales increased by 1.7 percent. The Subaru Impreza posted the highest sales increase for the month with 3,817 units sold to report an increase of 21 percent over March 2006 sales for the model. Another Asian brand to post increased March sales is Suzuki. The company known for high quality motorcycles sold 11,030 units of automobile in the United States for the month of March to post a 1.3 percent increase. The increase is the effect of the 28.6 percent increase in light truck sales. Both the XL 7 and the SX 4 played a major role in increasing the sales figure for the Japanese brand last month.

Mitsubishi is another Asian brand which posted increased sales in the United States for the month of March. The company sold 12,536 units and that is an increase of 22.3 percent over the sales for the same period last year. For the first three months of the year, the company has already posted a 23.2 percent sales improvement over the first quarter sales figure in 2006.

The best selling Mitsubishi model for the month is the Eclipse. Mitsubishi sold 2,613 units of Eclipse for the month of March on the way to posting an increase of 5.1 percent for Eclipse sales over March 2006 sales of the model. The Mitsubishi Outlander also posted good sales for the month of March with 2,634 units sold. The redesigned Outlander has definitely attracted the attention of American auto buyers evident in the 20.9 percent sales increase for the particular model.

The increased sales of these Asian brands continue to increase their hold in the U.S. auto market. If the current trend continues, international brands will surely wrest the majority of the U.S. auto market away from the U.S.’ Big Three and not even good brake components from Active Brakes Direct can stop them.

What Does Eczema Look Like?

Eczema is a condition that affects the appearance of the skin, in addition to causing itching and irritation in the sufferer. Naturally, this condition can be both embarrassing and uncomfortable, particularly where eczema is visible on the face, or somewhere else that is prominently on display. Many sufferers feel that the eczema is detrimental to their appearance, and lose their self-confidence and belief. I suffer from a skin condition, and from many years my self confidence took a battering, especially when I was a child, children can be really mean! Given the nature of the condition, it can sometimes be difficult to get out of this self-loathing attitude which begins to develop, and can lead to further problems beyond this physical complaint.

In a number of cases, eczema has the appearance of dry, cracked skin, which can turn red with itching. For this reason, one of the most obvious ways to help curb the symptoms is by ensuring your skin is continually moisturised. This can be achieved by applying a specific lotion, but also by ensuring the air around you is sufficiently humid enough to prevent your skin drying out too much. One of my personal favourite solutions to dry skin is to put some baby oil (just a small drop) into your bath, it’s much easier than putting on cream! The appearance of the eczema can often give away the underlying cause, which makes it relatively easy for doctors to treat each specific case as it arises. For some, their condition may simply be the result of a poor or unbalanced diet. For others, they may have some allergic response to a certain food or ingredient, and it is also thought that stress could be a contributing factor.

As a rule of thumb, anything that dries the skin is likely to flare the symptoms of eczema. This also extends to perfumes and other fragranced products, which can react with the skin and worsen the symptoms of the condition. It is important to avoid these products in order to avoid increasing the prominence of the condition, particularly amongst those who suffer facially and from eczema on their scalp.

Seborrhea eczema is a particular type of the condition which manifest as a scaly, yellow patch, usually around the face and head. This is thought to be caused partially by coming into contact with particular allergen triggers, which causes the reaction within the immune system that produces eczema. With this in mind, it is crucial to ensure that sufferers locate any particular factor which may contribute to their condition, and isolate it from their environment to avoid the onset of further problems.

Another common form of eczema is known as Dishidrotic eczema. Dishidrotic eczema affects the feet and hands and can be detected by it appearance as particularly itchy blisters. This can be a particularly uncomfortable form, given that the sores are deep and are relentless in their irritation.

Eczema comes in a variety of different forms, and if you think you may be suffering, the best thing you can do is to consult a doctor. Your doctor will be capable of providing you with an accurate diagnosis to reflect exactly what type of eczema you have, which will ultimately allow you to begin a more effective course of treatment.

Find Out How A Direct Hair Transplant Works

The different kinds of hair transplant procedures can be difficult to understand including the Direct Hair Transplant. This is one of the least common hair transplant procedures used because it takes a great deal of work. There are only a handful of people who are good candidates for this procedure. This procedure involves the doctor taking hair that is already on your body and moving it to a new location.

The process of Direct Hair Transplant has come a long way in the technology of medicine. You no longer have to search for a donor that has the same type and color of hair as your own. The doctor is able to move healthy hair from your body and place in where your own is starting to thin out. It is very fast and can be completed in just a few visits. Many people prefer it because it is not invasive.

Do you have enough hair for this particular type of transplant? They hair has to be taken from other parts of the head where it is growing well. It will be removed one piece at a time and then grafted to the thinning areas of the scalp. This should get the root to continue growing in the new location. Not everyone has enough healthy hair for this procedure to be successful. It works well for those just starting the process of losing hair because they have plenty that can be used.

Sometimes the doctor will take hair from other parts of the body, but it is not commonly done. This is because the hair has a different texture and it can grow to varying lengths. It won’t look as natural overall. A doctor can discuss this issue with you in greater detail. They can let you know if you are a good candidate for the Direct Hair Transplant procedure or not.

You can also find more information at transplant message boards and hair transplant surgery. MedicalHairTransplantation.org is a comprehensive resource to help individuals with hair loss identify treatment options such as hair transplant.

Should You Have A Gender DNA Test For Your Unborn Child

A gender DNA test can reveal the gender of the fetus as well as showing paternity and genetic makeup. The procedure has been used because many feel it is a safer method than an amniocentesis as well as a CVS. This procedure is noninvasive where as an amniocentesis is invasive and can have risks, including inducing labor, fetal injury and in some cases termination of the pregnancy.

The gender DNA test requires taking blood from the mother who has fetal cells in her bloodstream. They isolate the Fetal DNA and will then determine the gender of the fetus. This is possible because the mother’s bloodstream carries fetal DNA from the placenta throughout the body. In most cases, a laboratory technician and not a doctor do the taking of the blood and testing. Performing the test as early as ten weeks after conception tells the gender of the fetus, although some tests may show accurate results as early as six weeks.

There are many companies around today that offer kits by way of mail, for a do it yourself home test, which you then send the sample to their lab and have the blood sample tested. Are these companies legitimate? In most cases they are, although they all charge different prices for the test kits and the testing procedure.

The question, should you have a gender DNA test is so controversial because, it takes the thrill and joy away from the birth, which most women know through experience is the beautiful part of birth, the rest can be painful. Some people may decide to end a pregnancy if the gender turns out to be wrong for what they are hoping for at the time. This type of gender DNA testing is wrong. Terminating a healthy pregnancy because the gender is not what you want leaves many religious groups and abortion groups positively outraged.

The right to select the gender of your baby may at some point unbalance the creation of life because some cultures and some people prefer boys rather than girls. This will cause less female populations and could result in the distinction of an entire heritage. Asian cultures are top on this list as they do end the life of baby girls. This way of life will eventually delete the Asian population.

With all the information about the gender DNA test and what could result if people use it for gender selection, this topic will remain a hot issue in the future. Religious groups believe that the sex of your baby is God’s will and will never change the way they believe. Abortion groups will continue to oppose this testing procedure if it is used for gender selection. I personally was happy to wait until my baby was born to find out the sex, and today I have a boy and a girl who have grown up and live wonderful lives.

Uranium Expert - Consolidation, But No “Price Crash” Ahead

Soaring yellowcake prices have accelerated a greater number of uranium juniors rolling off the assembly line. As fast as stock promoters can revive old shells, joint venture a more serious uranium company’s castaway property into the re-named shell, and then wheel a former ‘big name’ out of retirement (or a nursing home), the company will announce they are in the ‘hunt’ for uranium. Nearly all are mining the stock market – that means you, specifically the investor. Very few, probably less than 10 percent, have any realistic chance of ever putting a shovel to the ground and coming up with uranium ore. Fewer still are likely to intersect sufficiently economic delineation holes which might someday become a uranium mine.

While we won’t name any names, we are particularly amused by some efforts. We reward 90 percent of those companies contacting us by hitting delete on their ‘story pitches’ for editorial coverage. Some of the newer schemes involve the more experienced uranium juniors who pawned off some of their bad real estate to the naïve newcomers, which in turn hope to milk the less experienced uranium investors.

Imagine the newbie junior uranium which plans to build an ISR uranium recovery operation in the middle of a lignite deposit (yes, uranium can commonly be found in coal formations). A few recently minted uranium juniors daydream of ISR-mining unsaturated uranium ore bodies or ore above the water table.

With this in mind we asked: Why should we believe the recent U.S. OTC Bulletin Board entry Yellowcake Mining is different? With now nearly 500 different shades of uranium hopefuls, is this one worth getting to know? On March 5th, the company announced a ‘big name’ addition to its Board of Directors. While scanning through the first two paragraphs the third one woke us up.

So we made a few inquiries. TradeTech’s Gene Clark, whose consulting company recently announced the historic US$113/pound spot uranium price, gave us the thumbs-up. “I know Rob Rich, he’s a really good guy,” he told us. Dr. Clark remembered one part of Rich’s uranium marketing career with a well-known U.S. utility.

We talked to Dr. Robert Rich, a Harvard University PhD, long-time member of the Society of Economic Geologists, and formerly of BHP Billiton, Sumitomo Corp and Yankee Atomic Electric Company. On a government-funded Harvard post-doctoral fellowship, he spearheaded some of the earliest research on what are now called unconformity-type uranium deposits. One such unconformity deposit included the Athabasca Basin. Dr. Rich was part of the group which sold the first Olympic Dam U3O8 to U.S. and Canadian utilities. And so on. It appears he’s well-thought of and well-liked by the uranium industry.

Naturally the first question we asked was a challenge about his becoming a director of Yellowcake Mining, to which Dr. Rich politely responded, “I wouldn’t lend my name to a bogus junior, of which there are many.” He added, “I wouldn’t in good conscience be able to work for an outfit that wasn’t heading toward being an operating company. It’s just not who I am.”

History Points to Consolidation

We talked about the industry, and he gave us an important history lesson. “There are just too many players,” Dr. Rich explained. “Even if all them are sincere, there’s going to be a lot of consolidation. They are going to have to get together through joint ventures or mergers. This is what’s happened in any mineral boom.” He brought up the Butte copper deposit discovery in Montana, during the late 1800s, “It was divided up into a million different little mining claims, and nobody could do anything with it.” Subsequently, Anaconda Copper was formed to assemble all the claims to mine the deposit.

In a similar example, he pointed to Pretoria, South Africa’s diamond boom, also in the 1800s. “People couldn’t do anything with their 20 acres or 100 square meters,” he explained. “In order to make economic sense, you have to pool things together. A lot of the little companies go out of business, and big companies either take them over or a big company is formed from scratch.”

Was he talking about Yellowcake Mining? “I think Yellowcake has the goal to become a producing company, a miner, not mining the stock market,” he said. “The more I learned about where Yellowcake Mining was heading, the more I liked it.”

But how is this one different from the other 200-hundred-plus lottery tickets in North America? Rich shot back, “What Yellowcake has that 90 percent of the other junior uranium companies worldwide don’t have is the opportunity to earn into an 80-percent share of a land position, which is likely to lead to uranium production.” Then, he added, “I would say most juniors do not have that. Many don’t have anything significant except maybe a good person with an idea.”

As an industry insider, how does he rate Yellowcake? “It’s probably amongst the top 10 percent of juniors in that it actually has a project that is likely to become a producer,” Rich concluded. “I think the fact that it is a U.S. registered company with U.S. resources adds some retail stock market appeal in the U.S. It would appear the market does see the potential because the market cap is running close to a quarter-billion, and the company is less than three months old.”

Dr. Rich pointed out something which often arrives on our plate, ‘The Canadian Question.’ He said, “If one looks at the overwhelming majority of juniors, they are not U.S. registered companies. They may have holdings in the U.S., but they are out of Canada, Australia and perhaps other nationalities.” What’s the difference? “I think there is a market for a pure American uranium play,” he said. “People could fall in love with Wyoming uranium. People could love Juniper Ridge. There are people that like American-based energy sources.” Good point.

Will the Uranium Bull Continue Running?

Because of Dr. Rich’s close industry ties, we talked shop. How does this bull market compare with the previous ones? “There are three things that have changed,” he told us. “One is the pretty strong expectation of new nuclear plant orders, and the fact that the U.S. utilities that are anticipating making new nuclear plant orders have already been purchasing material for first core. Demand has been stronger than expected from people who will be end users of it (material). In the nearer to mid-term, there’s been an unexpectedly large amount of buying by both investors and by producers. They have either had bad luck with their operations in terms of getting out the expected uranium, or have had accidents.”

What started all this? “Cameco, ERA, Olympic Dam and Rossing were down for the first quarter 2003. There was a lot of stuff that was happening that brought the major producers into the market for millions of pounds a year, when before they were offering buyers free options for additional stuff,” Dr. Rich pointed out. “We went very quickly from an oversupply situation to a shortage. Producers were using up inventories and/or having to go to the market for material. I know that personally because I was involved in acquiring uranium for one of the major producers.”

Is this climate going to continue or lessen? “It should lessen,” Rich told us, “but that would be dependent upon there not being any more serious incidents. It would either delay a new producer like Cigar or impede a current major producer.”

What is on the minds of the utilities? “One big issue that I think overhangs the market, too, is: What’s the future of Olympic Dam?” he pointed out. “They were soliciting for 15-year contracts to underwrite at least a portion of the expansion.” Can this become a problem? “Well, I hear them out marketing – I hear from the utilities, and I know the BHP Billiton marketers, so I hear from both that there is activity,” he said. “But if you look at the BHP Billiton quarterly reports, when you look at new projects or developments, or try to find out anything about Olympic Dam, there’s nothing said. They give uranium really minor play as an odd sort of metal that they have to produce. Admittedly, uranium is only a few percent of their gross sales revenues, so maybe it’s a wart on the elephant’s back.”

So where is the price heading? “You are not going to see prices continue to go up the way they have been going up, because they are already well above the level required to produce more than enough uranium to satisfy expected demand,” Dr. Rich explained. “I think you’ll see a flattening, if not a decline. I don’t think that’s going to happen until the wind goes out of the investors’ sails and producer buying ceases.”

It’s not just speculative buying then? “It’s both,” he responded. “Sometimes, it’s the utility looking to just round out their inventory, but more often than not, it’s producers or investors They either need material to deliver under legacy contracts, so they are buying and reselling at a loss, or else it’s investors who still see further upside.

Is Dr. Rich still bullish? “If I leaned my opinion to one side or the other, I would lean to the bear side,” he told us. “But what does the bear mean? In this market, it just means a weakening or a downturn or a flattening. I don’t think you’ll ever see the sort of crash that’s going to send this back to US$20 to $30 prices again.”

How will utilities react to any significant downturn in the uranium price? “You are going to panic the market, and it’s going to pop back up,” he quickly pointed out. “The minute buyers see things go down, they are going to flock back into the market, and say, ‘Okay, we knew this was going to happen. Now, we buy.’ The utility consumers will come back into the market like lemmings, and buy up anything available. The next thing you know, there’s another spike.”

Biography:

Dr. Robert Rich has consulted or worked directly for BHP Billiton, Sumitomo, Ontario Power and several U.S. utilities. He has been involved in nearly every step of the nuclear fuel cycle, including uranium projects development, marketing, conversion, enrichment, transportation and spent fuel disposal. He helped bring the first shipment of Russian-enriched uranium to the U.S. in the mid-1980s and helped host the first nuclear delegation to the U.S. from the People’s Republic of China.

Golf Putting Tips Anybody Can Use

Everybody can use some golf putting tips from time to time. This article provides a wide range of golf putting tips for golfers of any level and experience.

Basics!

Keep It Simple

When you’re not sure which club to use, stick to what you know. For your first tee, use a wood. When it’s a close shot, use a low iron or a pitching wedge. Whenever you’re mid-range, use a middle iron. Finally, use a putter when you’re on the green.

Don’t try to use a fancy club unless you know what you’re doing. When in doubt, stick to what you know. Oftentimes, simplest is best!

Keep Your Stance In Line

When you’re using middle irons, your feet should be about shoulder length apart or a little wider. The bigger an iron you use, widen your feet. If you go smaller, keep your feet closer together.

Always remember that address and grip often influence the outcome of a shot much more than the actual swing.

Use A New Ball

When you are making a difficult shot, especially if there’s water around, use a new ball. Take out a shiny new one and toss that old one aside. This is a mental trick. It makes you value the shot more.

You can hit that old crummy ball any which way and who cares, right? But you don’t want to lose a shiny new ball, and you’ll think a lot more about where that ball is going to go.

Use A Little Psychology

A Mental Image

The fairway is so vast and broad. Sometimes it can be distracting while you are putting, just looking all around and seeing how far it can go in either way.

Here’s a mental imagery exercise some pro golfers do: They imagine that the fairway is just a narrow strip. All that green on either side doesn’t exist at all. It’s just a straight shot from the tee to the hole.

Try this next time you golf. Imagine it’s just you, the ball, and the hole. Make all that extra green disappear.

Picture The Track

Another mental trick that helps many golfers make their shots is to picture the ball coming backward from the hole to the tee. This is a trick many bowlers and players of other sports use. Just imagine the ball rolling backward in a straight line from the hole.

One More Tip Using Your Eyes

Beginners often lose speed on their putts. They end up slowing down and getting the ball close to the hole, but not quite there.

When you’re putting, try to put the ball just past the hole. This is an especially good tip if you have the habit of getting short of the hole. Picture it going further than the hole, and that will help you keep your speed going through the swing. Your swing will be more solid.

Extras - Chipping

Easy Chipping Drill

When you’re practicing chipping, use a chair or lean against a wall to brace yourself. You can use anything at all, as long as it’s hard and solid.

Just lean your left leg against the chair or wall or whatever, and put your weight into the forward foot. This is a great drill to practice getting a good downward swing and chipping just right.

Ties

About ties..what can you say about ties. Ties are for men..or for women who want to dress like men. Women want to have the tailored sleek look so they wear ties.

But ties are also for women who want to be women. Sleek, skinny ties look good with the secretary look. It adds to the ’separates’ i.e. the shirt/skirt or the shirt/trousers. The tailored look! The sleek office girl look!

And the tie is an accessory. It ads to the look. With the boyish chic look last year and the androgynous look previously, the tie was certainly important. If you want to look like a woman looking like a man ..use the tie as an accessory! But women want to be women. They want to use the tie in their own way.

Some stylists might say that a tie isn’t necessary to complete the tailored look. It is too much of an extra and they may be right. But you can use the tie as a centre piece in the ‘look’. You can wear the office chic look and for this the tie is important but it may not be essential of course. Some ‘looks’ for office girls do not have any ties. However what about the skinny tie on the tailored shirt clinging to the body, this is an important look.

But this is the office look. What about wide ties instead of the skinny ones. When we come to the summer season..can a tie be important for the look i.e. a wide glossy, ‘glam’ tie which gives the ‘color’ to a look. For men the tie was the ‘color’; it added color.

Maybe a woman is different. But for a woman, a tie seems to be above all an accessory; it is not as important as for a man..but that doesn’t mean the tie doesn’t have it’s place in woman’s fashion.

The boyish look was important in 2006, The tie was important for this. Now as fashion moves on from the boyish chic and the military before this, ties can still be important but maybe they will be the great wide ties..which give color and glamor!

A tie can be the center piece. It can be a ‘piece of color’ in the center. or it can be short tie.. a piece of color around the neck i.e. a short wide piece of color. A tie is an accessory but it can be an accessory which aims to add color.

When we think of ties, it is men’s ties, the ties that go with suits. It is a necessity and it must be said that the tie for women is an accessory i.e as regards fashion. But as the boyish look and the military look go, can the tie be used. Yes it will always be there for the ’sexy office girl look’ which is popular and also as an accessory in high fashion. Tailored shirts will always be in fashion for women and the tie is an important extra to the look.

But maybe there is more to ties than skinny ties. What about a broad short tie which adds color? Or then we can move on from the tie. What about a ‘neckerchief’..a covering for the neck…or..a bow tie ..or the jabot shirts..we can move on..but back..we don’t have to forget about ties. Remember ties were the ‘color’ for men’s suits. Maybe they can be the same for women.
