Why Affiliate Marketing Is the Simplest Business and How To Join a Good One

Here’s a really simple way of making money and a living online. I used to think making money online was one of the hardest things to do. Affiliate marketing is just a simple straight forward principle of earning money through commissions. You provide links to the major affiliate websites in your industry. Every time you send a visitor to the affiliate program and the visitor completes the required action, you get the agreed commission onto your account. You don’t have to worry about tracking your sells, the affiliate manager has tools to track your earnings.

There is one company named ebay that is a good source of income and offers a wide list of categories of affiliate products you can promote. Affiliate income is free to you and comes with no extra cost or what so ever.

Affiliate programs are also of great advantage because they decrease the overhead costs of maintaining your online business and helping your website be at its best by providing the needed software’s and supplying technical support.

Most affiliate programs pay monthly, but there are some that pay twice a month or weekly.

The affiliate program should have good support. The email support should have quick response, frequency asked question section should have a good list and answers, and it should have a forum where all affiliates can share ideas and success.

And does the affiliate program offer up to date or real time reports of your statistics? Such as when you make a sell or receive a client. It should offer important tracks of your business and weekly training to help you succeed.

Are You Fearful Of The Level Of Care At Your Local Hospital?

I recently read an article in the New York Daily News which stated that the nursing crisis was the worst that has been seen in over 50 years.

This is not a shock but to be expected. I graduated nursing school over 20 years ago from Villanova University. After graduating I worked at a large New York City hospital and thought to myself then, the expectations and the pay where not by any means on the same level. But young and unexperienced, I carried on in my daily shifts. The sick calls were not replaced, the staff was starting to be decreased and thus the expected level of care and paperwork were overburdening then without any resolve.

This nursing shortage has been looming for quite a while. Now the shock of the shortage of nurses. Most nurses I know would never go back to a hospital because of the pay, staffing and unrealistic work expectations. It is not safe and your license is on the line every day.

Now you or your loved one need to be admitted to a hospital. You are alarmed when your bell is not answered for a few minutes or you ask for medication and need to wait until the nurse has finished with possibly the other 20 or so patients she/he is responsible for depending on the shift.

Families are expected to help and care for themselves or their loved one while in the hospital. I have had countless individuals tell me they stay around the clock to make sure their loved one is safe and comfortable.

Times have certainly changed with no resolution to these problems in the near future. So you ask yourself, what can I do? You need to take care of yourself and have your loved ones do the same. Most illnesses are preventable by living healthy lifestyles. Be proactive and not reactive to your health You have control over 70 percent of your health. Invest in Yourself today and take control over you, your health and your wealth.

Stress Management - Freedom from Fear, Learn to Surrender

There have been times in my life of great frustration, stress, worry and fear. At those times I would cry out to Jesus. I would struggle to be strong, full of confidence and faith. I worked hard at doing all the things I had learned from the Word of God, and from those that God had sent to speak into my life. Still it was work and a continuous struggle. Again, I cried out to Jesus.

One day the Lord gave me a vision of the two of us riding a bicycle built for two. However, the back seat of the bicycle had no pedals. I was sitting in front, driving it as it were and Jesus was sitting behind me. There were times when we would pass through valleys and ascend hills. Coasting down the valleys was fun and refreshing.

However, approaching hills would cause me to have to pedal faster and breathe harder to make it to the top. One hill and then another. I began to tire even with the much needed coasting and refreshing breeze that it would bring. The Lord would then gently say to me, “Charli would you like me to lead?” I would reply, “Oh no Lord, I am doing just fine!”

It seemed that each hill began to get a little higher and it became harder to pedal to make it to the top. I began to perspire and my legs were tiring fast. Again, the Lord would softly say, “Charli, would you like me to lead?” I would reply, “Oh no Lord, I am doing just fine.” The coasting times began to be shorter and shorter.

I was becoming so exhausted that my legs were cramping terribly and my heart was beating so fast that I thought it might jump right out of my chest. I felt faint. I knew at any moment I might fall off the bike for lack of strength and endurance. Once again I heard that still small voice say, “Charli, would you like me to lead?” Totally spent, mentally, physically and emotionally, at last I cried out to Jesus, “Yes, Lord, please take the lead. I can no longer do it.”

Suddenly, I was sitting on the back seat of the tandem. It was a beautiful sunny day and I felt like a queen being escorted to a ball. The Lord said, “Charli, how are you doing?” I replied, “Oh, Lord this is wonderful, I am doing just fine! The view is beautiful from back here.” He said, “Great, just sit back and enjoy the ride!” At that moment the realization of the truth I had just been taught burst into my heart, why had I waited so long?
God wants to do the same for you today. He wants to lead, guide and direct you into all truth. He wants you to just sit back and enjoy the ride. All you have to do is surrender the driver’s seat.

Dog Panic Attacks Explained

It’s a strange notion if you haven’t come across it before, but a dog panic attack can be a real problem. A dog panic attack is exactly the same as human panic attack, but with a dog there is more potential for a violent reaction, which is why we need to understand exactly what’s happening.

What constitutes a dog panic attack?

You’ve probably seen a dog panic attack before, although you may not have realized it. Any dog that tries to attack you for no reason is more than likely suffering a panic attack. It may be that you are seen as threat to them, in which case their reaction will be one of fight or flight - a classic symptom of a panic attack - and if the dog has nowhere to go it will turn on you in it’s panic.

Some dogs are very nervous, and if you approach them without making them aware of you, they can panic when they suddenly realize you are there. This would be a dog panic attack.

In addition to this kind of dog panic attack, there are those which can be due to the physical or psychological health of your dog. If you suspect your dog may be having panic attacks, the first thing to do is give him a good health check. You might want to look for the following signs and symptoms;

* Is your dog off his food?
* Are there any obvious signs of injury?
* Has he stopped running, or is he walking with a limp?
* Does he look under the weather or irritable?
* Is he sleeping more than usual?

Any of these could increase the potential of your dog suffering a panic attack.

If things are a little more serious than that, and your dog is obviously in pain, take him to the vet as soon as possible. They will conduct a thorough physical examination and confirm whether there is a likelihood of a dog panic attack occurring. Vets understand more than most how animals cope with anxiety, stress and pain.

Is there a cure for dog panic attacks?

Unsurprisingly, a dog panic attack can be treated in much the same way as a mild human panic attack. One of the best remedies is affection. Give your dog some extra love and attention, and it may just be enough to make them feel secure again and bring them out of their depression. They are very simple animals, and an open display of affection shows them they are loved, much like children in many ways.

If there is an underlying physical condition causing your dogs panic attacks, your vet will be able to prescribe any medication. Resist the urge to give your dog any medication intended for human consumption, this can be fatal.

An End To “Nil Refund Terms” For Financial Consumers

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has agreed measures with the Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) industry representatives to end “nil refund terms” for those who have taken out single premium policies with their financial products.

The FSA has also introduced measures to ensure “fairness” and “transparency” in future consumer policies and that they should offer a fair settlement to those wishing to cancel their payment protection insurance (PPI).

More than seven million PPI policies are sold each year, most commonly when taking out personal loans and mortgages, providing cover for policyholders who are unable to keep up with their bills and are likely to miss payments due to poor health or redundancy.

The price of this insurance can often increase the loan amount by around 25%, when taken with some of the most expensive providers. This can mean that typical loans of £5,995 can often increase to just under £7,500.

Many experts believe that this is a considerably high amount and you should definitely try reclaiming this cost. If you feel that you have been miss-sold the cover or it wasn’t explained to you correctly at the time of sale then you may be able to claim it back.

You will need to write to your lender asking for the costs, as well as any interest incurred to be refunded. They must then reply back to you within eight weeks, otherwise you should take your case to the Financial Ombudsman who will help you liaise with the lender and meet a satisfactory outcome.

Whether you’re considering personal loans or other financial products; ensure that you perform a complete market comparison of all types of loans to get the best deal to suit your needs.

How To Avoid That Dreaded Lower Back Pain in Early Pregnancy

One of the most common complaints from pregnant women is lower back pain in early pregnancy. During pregnancy, your abdomen is expanding and pulling forward and hormones are relaxing joints and muscles throughout your body. This will put a strain on your back and cause pain. This article will give you some good tips for dealing with lower back pain in pregnancy.

The most important thing you can do to prevent lower back pain is maintain a good posture. Sit and stand straight, with shoulders back. Try not to let your abdomen pull your lower back forward which can cause a lot of strain. If you sit a lot, choose a chair that offers good lower back support and try to keep from crossing your legs. Sit with your feet slightly elevated and change positions often. Get up and stretch frequently and take a walk if possible.

When sleeping, don’t lie on your back. It is best to lie on your side. A body pillow is a good idea because you can place it between your knees and under your abdomen for full support. This will keep you body in good alignment and reduce pressure on your back.

Follow your doctor’s recommendation for weight gain and try not to gain an excessive amount of weight. A lot of women will think that being pregnant is an excuse to eat what they want. Excessive weight gain can be harmful to you and your baby. Eat a healthy, well balanced diet and try to keep your weight under control. You can exercise while pregnant provided that it is okay with your doctor.

Wear low heeled comfortable shoes while pregnant. Your center of gravity is way off while pregnant and wearing high heels not only puts an added strain on your back, but it also increases your risk of falling.

If the back pain is unbearable you might try massage or chiropractic care. Massaging the painful area with heated oils can help. Some chiropractic methods may relieve the pain also. Just make sure that you let your doctor know that you are considering these treatments. You may take acetaminophen for pain while pregnant; however NSAIDS such as Motrin, Advil and other forms of ibuprofen are not safe to take during pregnancy.

When lifting anything, make sure to lift the proper way. Bend at the knees, keep your back straight and lift with your legs. Do not bend over at the waist to lift something. Be careful when lifting things above your head. Never lift very heavy objects while pregnant. Your doctor can give you information on what is safe to lift while pregnant.

Always make your doctor aware of any back pain you may be having. Sometimes back pain is a sign of premature labor and needs to be addressed quickly. Pregnancy is not without its aches and pains; however it will be worth it in the end. Just remember to take care of your back and know how to relieve lower back pain in pregnancy.

A Profile Of Joan Laporta, President Of FC Barcelona

Probably the first time many people heard of Joan Laporta was during the campaigning that preceded FC Barcelona’s presidential elections in 2003. Joan Gaspart had just stepped down from the position he had filled since 2000, with morale at the club at a low after a series of disastrous seasons coinciding with falling attendances and mounting debts.

Laporta’s election promise was simple; if he were voted president he would sign David Beckham, a move that immediately raised his profile both in Barcelona and in the UK, won him tremendous support, and helped catapult him past Lluis Bassat, the presidential favourite.

Elected in June 2003 he soon found that he was unable to keep his promise and David Beckham went to Real Madrid instead - fortunate as it turned out as he failed to live up to his reputation at all.

However, despite his initial setback Laporta’s deputy, Sandro Rossell, was able to sign a Brazilian player instead, Ronaldo de Assis Moreira - better known throughout the world as Ronaldinho. Also requiring a new team manager, Laporta’s team raised a few eyebrows with the appointment of Frank Rijkaard to the role, due to his relative inexperience and vowed to fight football violence, something his predecessor had overlooked.

With low player morale, the start of the season saw virtually no change in performance and Barcelona fans were calling for changes - many people thought that Rijkaard should go, in favour of someone with the experience to turn the team around.

Barcelona’s relative lack of success continued until half way though the season, and suddenly things started to gel. Edgar Davids was loaned from Juventus for the remainder of the 2003-2004 season and although he worked well with Ronaldinho and was popular with fans he was unable to agree terms to remain with the club. After that shaky start, Laporta’s first year of reign saw the club achieve what many of their fans thought impossible; they came second in the league to Valencia and earned a place in Champions League for the following year.

With Davids gone the search was on to reinforce the front of the team, as well as sweep out some of the players associated with the old guard. The rash of signings included Cameroon player Samuel Eto’o, as well as Deco and Giuly. All was not going well inside the club though, with Laporta and Rossell in frequent dispute and Rossell reportedly wanting to change Rijkaard despite the season’s result, and accusing the management team of being influenced by former Barça player Johan Cruyff.

Barcelona made a good start to the 2004-2005 season and playing consistently and honing Rijkaard’s strategy of dominating the opposing team in its own area, Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-0 at Santiago Bernabeu in the November, earning a round of applause from the home supporters. The strong performance lasted the entire season and saw Barcelona finish at the top of the league, although Chelsea knocked them out of Champions League.

This didn’t stop Sandro Rossell and four other directors of FC Barcelona from waging war inside the club in a curiously ill-timed rebellion. Eventually Joan Laporta asked for public clarification of where these dissident directors stood; the five resigned in June 2005.

Barcelona’s following season was even more successful, with both the domestic and Champions League titles; this time it was Barcelona who knocked Chelsea out of Champions League and went on to win the title against Arsenal. However there was more trouble over the term of Laporta’s presidency, with a court decision that the elections should have been called in June.

In the end the election didn’t take place - although set for September there was no candidate with enough backing to oppose him and so Joan Laporta remains president to this day.

David Leigh recommends visiting the home of FC Barcelona, Camp Nou. The museum and stadium tour is available all day on Monday-Saturday or Sunday mornings.

25 Foods You Should NOT Feed Your Dog

Recently, much news was published about unsafe commercial pet foods. This news, of course, sounded an alarm among pet owners. But, unfortunately, this problem isn’t really ‘news’. It seems that incidents similar to this occur from time to time. Perhaps this is one reason more and more people are opting to ‘home cook’ for their pets. However, in order to properly home-cook for your pets, you should first have a basic knowledge of canine nutrition; and, even more importantly, a thorough knowledge of human foods that are harmful to dogs. Some foods which are safe for human consumption can be poisonous for our canine companions. E-dog-training.com has put together a list of 25 common human foods that are toxic to dogs. Of course, when in doubt, always check with your vet. Here is a list to get you started:

1. Onions (Both onions and garlic contain the toxic ingredient Thiosulphate. But onions are more of a danger. Many dog biscuits contain *small* amounts of garlic - garlic contains less of this toxin so huge amounts would need to be consumed to be toxic. And, by the way, this poison builds up the system - it can be toxic in one large dose - or with repeated consumption of small amounts.)
2. Chocolate (Chocolate contains Theobromine, a compound that is a cardiac stimulant and a diuretic. This can be fatal to dogs.)
3. Grapes (Grapes are dangerous because of an unknown substance which is toxic to dogs - affects canine’s kidneys)
4. Raisins (See above.)
5. Most Fruit Pits and Seeds (Contain Cyanogenic Glycosides resulting in cyanide poisoning - though the fruit itself is OK.)
6. Macadamia Nuts (Macadamia nuts contain an unknown substance that is toxic to dogs.)
7. Most Bones should *not* be given (especially chicken bones) because they can splinter and cause laceration of the digestive system and/or become lodged in your pet’s throat - so they also pose a choking hazard.
8. Potato Peelings and Green Potatoes (Contain Oxalates, which can affect the digestive, nervous, and urinary systems.)
9. Rhubarb leaves (see above)
10. Broccoli (Broccoli is only toxic in large quantities.)
11. Green parts of Tomatoes or Green Potatoes(Contain oxalates, which can affect the digestive, nervous, and urinary systems.)
12. Yeast Dough (Yeast Dough can produce gas and swell in your pet’s stomach - leading to rupture of the digestive system)
13. Coffee/Coffee Grounds and Tea ( are dangerous due to the caffeine.)
14. Beer/Wine/Alcohol of any kind (Alcohol of any kind could lead to coma or even death.)
15. Human Vitamins (Human vitamins, especially those containing iron, can cause damage to the lining of the digestive system as well as cause kidney and liver damage)
16. Moldy or Spoiled Food (though I think this goes without saying.)
17. Persimmons (Persimmons can cause intestinal blockage)
18. Raw Eggs and Raw Fish (Raw eggs and some raw fish can cause Salmonella poisoning.)
19. Salt, Baking Soda, Baking Powder (In large amounts these can cause an electrolyte imbalance - and severe electrolyte imbalances can lead to muscle spasm or even congestive heart failure.)
20. Mushrooms (Mushrooms may contain toxins which could cause liver and kidney damage)
21. Sugar-Free Foods (Sugar-free foods containing Xylitol have been found to cause liver failure in some dogs.)
22. Nutmeg (Nutmeg can cause tremors, seizures, and central nervous system damage.)
23. Excessive Fatty Foods (Excess fatty foods can cause Pancreatitis.)
24. Avocado (All parts of the avocado and avocado tree are toxic to dogs.)
25. Diary Products (Dairy products don’t usually pose a great danger; but many dairy product have high fat content (see number 23) - and many pets are lactose intolerant - some pets more than others. Lactose intolerance leads to gas and diarrhea; though small amounts of yogurt and cheese are usually fairly well tolerated.)

Keep these 25 toxic foods in mind when cooking for your dog. There may be other foods that your dog can not consume; so always ask your vet when you are unsure about anything concerning your pet. Need for a Statutory Regulator for Property Transactions

For most people, the process of buying property requires great attention. It is often a huge investment - possibly the largest that an individual is likely to make; and they would want true value for the money invested. Coupled with the decision to liberalise the FDI norms in the construction sector, it comes as a surprise that the real estate sector continues to function unregulated without a consumer friendly legal framework, especially when mutual funds, insurance policies, fixed bank deposits and securities are all subject to the guidelines of a market regulator. Until now, only Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) were permitted to invest in the housing and the real estate sectors. Foreign investors other than NRIs were allowed to invest only in development of integrated townships and settlements either through a wholly owned subsidiary or through a joint venture company in India along with a local partner.

Though the real estate sector in India is proclaimed to be the most promising sector today, it is still hugely plagued by market uncertainties and inhibitions. The real estate market in India predominantly continues to remain unorganized, fairly fragmented, mostly characterized by small players with a local presence. Thus, a Rs 500 transaction has a regulatory structure in place, while a Rs 50,00,000 contract runs on trust or might. What makes the purchase process even more harrowing is the complete lack of professionalism. The sector is replete with builders and brokers who are not only ignorant of the law, but also about the ways of civil engineering. The Finance Ministry has also expressed concerns about the exponential growth in the highly unorganised sector, which is also supposed to be one of the most corrupt sectors of the economy.

In a bid to protect consumers, the urban development ministry plans to create a regulator for the real estate sector. A real estate commission will be set up to frame guidelines and a code of conduct for property dealers. This would mean that property dealers and architects would have to get themselves registered before doing business. These moves are all likely to be part of the proposed Real Estate Management Bill. However, keeping in view the strong opposition of a section of lobby of builders and property agents, it remains to be seen whether the government would be able to push forward the proposed Bill. There are proposals for self-regulation by the industry.

However, a section of builders have also supported the government’s move, as it would bring transparency in the industry and an assurance to the customers. Once confidence level improves, the quantum of foreign investment coming into the sector could rise substantially leading to growth in the sector. As per an estimate, the real estate sector is expected to get an investment of over $50 billion in next 5 years. Under the proposed Bill, neighbourhood property dealers will have to compulsorily seek licence from the proposed commission for practising in specific catchment areas. To further protect the interest of consumers, the commission will also entertain complaints against dealers and will be empowered to take punitive action. There are also plans for setting up an assistance window at the proposed commission, where prospective buyers will be able to thoroughly check the antecedents and other details of the property.

The same act is also expected to ban pre-launch offers - a method to take consumers for a ride in the housing sector. Realtors would take huge advances for proposed flats immediately after acquiring land even without the necessary clearances. In some cases, developers have even received advance money before the land was even transferred. More often than not, the developers have sunk the money in alternate projects. Once a project has been approved, builders will be barred from accepting any advances or deposits from buyers unless a sale agreement has been executed. The moves are expected to put an end to pre-launch bookings and publicity which jacks up property prices beyond prevailing market rates. This speculation severely disadvantages genuine buyers while aiding those out to make a quick buck. Apart from the ban on making these offers, the bill is also likely to mandate that the developer sign an agreement with the buyers, assuring them of delivery of the property within a stipulated period.

However, the draft of the proposed enactment reveals a few serious flaws. These mainly stem from India’s federal constitution which places property as a subject for state legislation. The fear is that the new statute will face the fate of the National Building Code, which is being ignored by states as much as possible.
