Credit Repair Steps to Success

Introduction

I’ve spoken to thousands of people over the years about their credit. I’m often asked to explain the steps that should be taken to remove errors from credit reports. Here is a step by step guide that will produce results if followed carefully. The content of your credit report has a major impact on the quality of your financial life. The efforts that you make to improve your credit will pay significant dividends. Good luck!

Get Copies of Your Credit Reports

I strongly suggest that you get individual copies of your three credit reports rather than a tri-merged report which combines all three. This will make the tasks that follow considerably easier. You will be addressing your communications to the three individual bureaus and it is essential that you remain organized. Your credit reports can be obtained for free from annualcreditreport.com one time per year. If you have done this within the past twelve months and must purchase your reports please make sure to purchase them individually.

Organize Your Effort

Once you have your three reports it is time to get organized. Make three individual files and label them clearly with the names of each credit bureau. You will need to follow the directions below for each bureau individually. It is important that you keep copies of all of your correspondence with the bureaus in the proper files so that you can monitor the results and take follow up action as necessary. Time to get to work!

Look for Derogatory Information

Review each report for the presence of derogatory information. Make a note of anything that you see that is questionable. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt. If you see a late payment that you don’t remember, or an account that you don’t recognize, it is important that you not assume that the credit report is right. Credit reports are notoriously inaccurate. You need to look out for yourself. You will be disputing every single thing that does not ring true.

Look over Neutral Information

This is a step that most people ignore. And yet the neutral information on your report can have as much of an impact on your credit scores as the more obvious derogatory information. Neutral information includes the initial reporting dates for each account, high credit limits for each account, current balances, duplicate accounts, and unrecognized inquiries. These items are crucial. An understated high credit limit, for example, might cost you 20 points on your credit score.

Start Your Disputes

It is time to start writing letters to the bureaus to dispute every questionable item. Take the time to do this right and you will have success with your credit repair efforts. These tips can make all of the difference. First of all, type your dispute letters. Second, keep it simple; just say what you need to say and not a word more! And third, don’t dispute more than three things at a time. Follow these instructions and you will be thrilled with the results.

Dispute Again

There is a very high probability that the first response that you get from the bureaus will indicate that they have checked the item in question and it was verified by the creditor to be correct. Don’t worry. This response is built into the system. After all, the reason the error is on your report is that the creditor is reporting it. So now it’s time to dispute again. This second dispute must clearly indicate that you are not satisfied and that you would like the issue to be researched. If you don’t get satisfaction after the second dispute don’t be afraid to dispute a third time; this is the final and most effective step in credit repair. This time you must demand that they provide documentation. If the reported item is incorrect it will be now be removed.

Other Useful Tips

If your credit is limited you would be well advised to open one or more new accounts. If your credit keeps you from being approved by traditional credit card providers then you should apply for a secured credit card. These require a small saving deposit to be made as collateral. It is also effective to be added to a friend or relative’s existing credit card as an additional cardholder. Of course they have to be willing to help you in this way, but once this is done your credit score will benefit from the presence of the item on your report.

Summary

This process takes some stamina, but if you follow these instructions you will have success. Don’t be intimidated. Credit repair is your right.

Affordable Gifts For Mom

Spending money on gifts to buy mom can be a stressing task. Often, you might not have the required money to obtain gifts for mothers. If this is the case, you can always try and go the cheaper way- yet still show your mother that you care.

First, card making is the best and cheapest way to show your mother you care. They are the most personalized item you can get, since you can write anything you wish, and adapt to different occasions such as a birthday or Mother’s Day. This can turn mothers day gift buying into a much simpler process- as you will only have to create your own product. This is most likely the cheapest measure you can take, as well. As far as supplies go, you will just need some paper, something to write with, and perhaps other things if you wish to get creative. If you are having trouble affording gifts to buy for mom, this is a great alternative.

Secondly, there are crafts. These kinds of things are often kept a long time, since it will let your mother remember how you were when you were little. This is generally for younger aged people, as older children tend to have money. Making things such as a house out of pop sickle sticks can show your mom that you care- since these creations often take a long time to make. If you can’t necessarily buy mom a gift from lack of money, this is another very good alternative that should be considered.

Lastly, you should consider other alternatives. For instance, you may ask your father or sibling if you can sign your name on one of the presents they have bought. This can make buying gifts for mothers for the younger children easier, since they are less likely to have money. If you are indeed out of money, signing your name on a card can show that you care to make such effort, even if you don’t have the money to show otherwise. It isn’t always the most respectable solution, but still works in many applications.

Things such as mothers day gift buying can literally leave you broke and out of money. Following these steps, you can afford to show how much you care for your mother, while saving your much needed money. Making your own card, building your own crafts, or considering other alternatives will show that you care- even if you couldn’t afford anything. Self-made items are usually more sentimental, anyway. Your mother might even prefer that you make something yourself, for sentimental value. If you are tired of stressing over how you will pay for your mothers gift, these solutions can help you in still showing you care.

Poems In Training - A Metaphor For Success

Poems and stories can provide powerful metaphors in training, particularly when you are trying to get a motivational point across. If you think about the things you remember from your past education, you will probably note that most of them have come from rhymes or stories of some kind. I mean how did you learn to say your A,B,C’s? I bet you’re even saying the rhyme in your head right now!

I find that participants respond extremely well when you sum up a topic with a rhyme that fits the occasion and there are so many wonderful examples to be taken from past literature that it really doesn’t have to take too much time looking for them either. An example of this for me was the subject of ‘procrastination’. I really struggled to get the point across to learners when approaching what is a pretty dry topic. However, once I added the concept of ‘Swallow the frog’ (shamelessly stolen from Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn) they really started to get it. Now I quite often here people saying “Come on, just swallow the frog!” In case you are wondering, the phrase relates to a section in the book where Tom Sawyer says, “If you have to swallow a frog, don’t look at it too long.” (i.e. the more you delay doing a bad task, the worse it gets).

When there is no useful metaphor to be found, I sometimes come up with my own. It really isn’t that hard to do and takes me back to my ‘poetry time’ sessions in school. Here is an example of one of my poems to get you going.

My Friendly Enemy

You pick me up,
You put me down,
I’m controlled by your desire.

You’ve made me friends,
You’ve caused me fights,
I’ve even been your liar.

No solitude when you’re around,
No bitterness or tears,
Cause and solution to my struggles,
Both creating and easing fears.

I think it’s time I took control,
I don’t mean to be rude,
I’m the boss, you have to learn,
My bittersweet attitude.

Try adding poems and stories into your own training sessions, you’ll find it really helps the subject stick and if you’re struggling for ideas, visit my website and pinch some of mine!

Yes, You Can Still Retire Comfortably! The Baby Boom Retirement Crisis and How to Beat It

Book by Ben Stein and Phil DeMuth

Save more money.

Lots more money.

That’s the overriding message of this book, and it’s a shame so few people will follow their advice. If you get nothing else from this book or this article, but you pay off all your consumer debts and max out your tax-deferred retirement accounts, you’d owe Stein and DeMuth a tremendous debt.

However, they do provide a lot more useful information and advice. Unfortunately, in my opinion, they don’t fulfill the promise of their title and subtitle.

In Chapter 1 they outline the problems that the retirement of baby boomers will bring to the world’s (it’s not just an American problem — in fact, it’s even worse in Japan and many European countries) economy. There’s simply not enough money to pay boomers the Social Security, Medicare benefits and pensions they expect and are entitled to by law.

Baby boomers who have their own savings are going to be much better off than those depending on Social Security and pensions.

Most of the book is devoted to advice on how to invest those savings for maximum return before you retire, and, after you retire, how to convert them into cash to live on and yet keep from running out before you die. Much of the advice is good, even terrific.

They have the guts to point out something that few financial advisors do. Although stocks have historically returned 10% per year on average, nobody can count on that, because that’s simply a long-term average of returns that fluctuate across a wide range of negative and positive results, in no predictable pattern.

They publish a chart on page 76 that’s a real eye-opener. It’s the range of possible returns from the S & P 500 over a 30 year period. Because the stock market fluctuates so much, its range of returns from year to year varies enormously. People’s overall results, depending on the sequences of good and bad years, even over a 30 year period, can differ tremendously even though the average return remains 10%.

For instance, someone investing $1000 at the beginning of the best possible 30 year scenario would wind up with over $1 million. Yet the person investing that same $1000 at the beginning of the worst possible 30 year scenario would have only $268 at the end. The median was just over $10,000.

I’m also glad that they point out the value of maintaining good health, and that you must plan your finances as though you’re going to live to be 100 — maybe more, as our life expectancies are gradually on the rise. A lot of improvements are going to be made in health care over the next 50 years.

And they point out that it’s likely the government will expand the means-testing of Social Security and Medicare benefits. (I consider taxation, and the recent increase in Part B Medicare premiums for people making over $80,000 a year, to be a form of means-testing, so it’s already started.)

The wealthy will have enough money to get by without Social Security and Medicare. The poor will be provided for. The middle-class will have every possible dollar confiscated from them. Prepare.

One area I think could have been improved on was their advice to postpone retirement as long as possible. The more you work and save money instead of spending down savings, the better off financially you’ll be. I think they could have gone into more detail about how people can work part time from home, or find other ways to make money without spending another 5-10 years at a hated conventional job (which many baby boomers are not going to do).

Where I really fault this book is that after outlining the particular problems of baby boomer and Gen X retirement, they then explain standard retirement strategies. They advocate saving through the “couch potato” portfolio — putting half your money in a bond index and half in a stock market index.

And they devote many pages to strategies for funding your retirement through selling off your saved stocks and bonds over the course of the rest of your life. They are conservative in standard retirement financial advice, but do not consider what will happen to the prices of stocks and bonds when millions of baby boomers start selling off their stocks and bonds. They basically assume the markets will continue to go through normal cycles.

They make no adjustment in their advice for the possibility that the sale of stocks and bonds (especially stocks) will bring in relatively small amounts of money, at least after the initial wave of retiring baby boomers start to sell. The very first ones will get normal market prices.

The rest of us? Rots of ruck, for many years to come.

Their advice on funding and staying funded through retirement is certainly superior for normal conditions. But conditions won’t remain normal for more than a few years.

That’s why I believe they don’t fulfill on the promise of the book title’s. If they were advising previous generations, their advice would be terrific.

This is doubly disappointing because these same authors wrote a good book addressing the only real solution to the baby boomer’s retirement dilemma: Yes, You Can Succeed as an Income Investor. I believe baby boomers should be buying up high quality stocks and bonds that pay dividends and interest, and hang on to them.

Live on the income from your investments and you don’t have to worry about their current market prices.

Character Research

A lot of writers don’t seem to do a lot of preparation before they start writing their novels. I envy those people, because I’m unable to start something without knowing vaguely where I’m going and having a rough plan in place.

Before I started writing my novel, I worked out the premise and plot of each story and the motivations of each character. Each story is roughly 9000 words long so I had to ‘research’ the main characters before I began, as I don’t have a lot of time and space to figure them out as I go along.

First, I worked out how the characters fit into the plot and the point I wanted to make through them. Why are the characters acting like they do? If they are in conflict with each other or with the situation, why don’t they just walk away? What has brought them to this point in their lives? I answered these questions by creating back stories for each character. With ten stories there were a lot of main characters and a lot of work to do, but it’s paid off in the long run.

When writing each back story I thought about what would make a person behave and feel like my character. I considered their upbringing, what their parents were like, and any disappointments, expectations and setbacks they may have experienced in the past. For example my character Jessica feels conflicted between her sexuality and her mother’s wish for her to marry and have children, and the guilt she feels is the main reason she is unable to break away from her mother. Her mother wants Jessica to marry well because Jessica’s father died when she was young, leaving her mother broke, lonely and bitter. Jessica was brought up to think marriage to a wealthy man is the ultimate security. She also feels responsible for her mother’s happiness, who emotionally manipulates Jessica to keep her in check. Both mean that she feels guilty about her sexuality and finds it hard to come to terms with it.

Other things I worked out was my character’s personality and appearance, which also drive the plot and help to explain why the character is struggling to break away. When a friend of Jessica realises she is having cold feet and asks her about it, Jessica is roused from her usually passive demeanour and snaps at her friend, unwittingly exposing her feelings of guilt and shame. Her reaction and behaviour isn’t random or out of turn.

Once I’ve finished shaping a character I moved onto the other characters in the story, explaining why they are preventing Jessica from coming out or why they are putting pressure on her to break off the wedding. These people add to Jessica’s conflict and move the plot along in a realistic way.

Knowing my characters inside out means that I’m less likely to have stereotyped or two dimensional characters in my writing. I also am more likely to avoid plot holes and unrealistic behaviour or events. These preparations are not set in stone; I have changed the plot and my characters as I’ve gone along, which I’m happy with because I’m not writing by numbers. The initial research just serves as a starting point.

Tahiti Surf - A Super Place for Surfing

A fantastic vacation destination, Tahiti is a superb place to visit especially if you enjoy water based activities. Aside from some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling in the world, Tahiti is also renowned for its excellent surfing. One of the most common beach activities, the surf breaks and swells in Tahiti are top class and entice surfers from all over the globe. A great experience for all to enjoy, surfing in Tahiti is fun for everyone.

Tahiti Surf Destinations

There are several places to go surfing on Tahiti Nui. These Tahiti surf destinations are known for their first-rate swells and breaks. On the northern coast you can find some good surfing at Point Venus and Matavai Point, while in southern Tahiti the best breaks are located at Fisherman’s Point and Papara. All easily accessible, the waves here attract surfers from all over. For the more keen surfing enthusiast, a good idea would be to head out to Tahiti Iti. On the southern coast here some excellent breaks can be found at the Big and the Small Pass.

Tahiti Surf Schools

For those who do not know how to surf or need to brush up on their surfing skills and techniques, there are a number of Tahiti surf schools, in which you can enroll. The surf instructors here are seasoned local surfers with plenty of experience, and who understand the waves and conditions here well. Several surf schools can be found all across town in the capital of Papeete. These schools are an excellent resource and usually have their own surf shops as well from where you can rent out a surfboard and other surf gear like wet suits, board wax, etc.

Tahiti Surf Season

For the enthusiastic surfer, there are two surf seasons in Tahiti. The first surf season is from October to March, while the second surf season lasts from April to September. During the October to March season the waves are smaller but are more consistent, while in the April to September period the surfing is world class with powerful hollow waves to ride. This is the best time to come here, if you are an experienced surfer.

Tahiti Surf Championships

The ideal destination for the competitive surfer, Tahiti offers some truly world class surfing at Teuhupo’o. Meant for professionals only, this beach plays host to the Billabong Pro Championships in May here annually. An international event, with pro surfers attending from the world over, the waves on Teuhupo’o are the biggest and toughest on Tahiti to ride!

The Family Shoot

Bringing unity to a motley crew can be fun if you involve everyone in the process. Set a challenge telling everyone that will be in the shoot to select 2-3 outfits to the following specifications: Choose one idea from step 1 & 2, guaranteed the looks will change, but unity will be maintained.

Step 1.–Set the mood

Formal — Slacks, shirts, tie & jacket, skirt, blouse or dress–
Casual– Cargo pants, jeans, ¾ pants, tees, loose linen pants, skirts
Nautical–Blue/White stripes, pants & tees
Party Glam- Shiny, silky, sequins

Step 2.–Choose the main colour/s (max TWO)

Red & Black - good for groups of no more than 3
Pink & Blue–great for kids, keep it pastel or mix up with deep tones or blue
Orange & Blue- Mix in with white for a fun vibrant look, stripes are fine for kid but avoid on adults
Greens- Mix-ups hues and tones of one colour, add a little accent with accessories, red/pink

bangles or beads

Select a maximum of 3 colours, if choosing 3 colours one of these should be a neutral tone ie fawn, white, brown or black that work with the other two. Put a few items together to test the idea.

Keep patterns small and to a minimal in large groups. Avoid stripes running around the girth of an adult (this adds kilos!).

Step 3. –Make up, Hair, Accessories and Nap Time

Ladies & Girls-Keep make up simple and natural. Be sure older ladies avoid dark lipstick shades as it thins the lips.

Teenagers-Might have their own ideas, it’s important they have embarrassing photos to look back on (you know what I mean!) so as long as they smile, be happy they are here!

Gents & Boys-If having a hair cut make sure this is done 2-3 days before the shoot to avoid that just cut look.

Children-Must be feed and rested, hungry sleepy little ones do not enjoy having their photo taken however much chocolate they are bribed with. Asking them to smile is also pointless as it usually ends with a cheesy grin they think we mean!

Step 4.—Smile you look great

Seriously a shoot should be fun for everyone. A time to celebrate what’s lovely and loving within your family. Involve everyone in the process and they will feel a part of the idea and play along. Help each other pick the outfits and location then go have a giggle!

What is the Result of Strategic Marketing?

A short description of the basic content is contained here >> (Link 1 at the end) but a recent example from Germany gives a good chance to get the idea across in a better way.

Besides of that the development of a strategy (for the enterprise/marketingprocedures) is part of a marketing plan which should be available for every company - whether large or small.

PUMA - and ist CEO Jochen Zeitz.

When he started in 1993 (>> Link2 at the end) the company was a middle-sized producer of sports shoes.

At this time he developed the recipe - development phases - the result of which led to today’s billion dollar company which is taken over by a French company selling luxury good - PPR

What did he actually do ?

As explained on the webpage of the company (Link 3 at the end) he oriented himself strictly at the market, the clients’ needs as well as finding out new trends.

This implies a thorough analysis as well of clients and client groups as market segments and markets.

This is always the first and foremost step. A German saying is ‘No practice without theory’.

On the one hand this of course is easier for a company with the turnover of PUMA 1993 than for a smaller company.

On the other hand no company can exist successfully without the step of strategic vision, planning and transformation of the results. It is depending on the financial background (but also on the entrepreneurial risk undertaken) as well as the present production possibilities resp. the markets available, how detailed these steps will be.

With limited resources one can nevertheless concentrate on specific products or specific markets. But only if the resulting facts/ways are taken seriously and implemented correspondingly the calculated theoretical profits will be the result.

The next step, of course, has to follow in order to protect the company and working places for the future.

For sure Jochen Zeitz did not know at the very beginning which financial success phases I through IV would bring. Nevertheless he designed the steps following his entrepreneurial vision at and from the beginning.

As can be learnt from the company information above further steps were added to the phases - e. g. additional production in foreign countries, changing licence agreements into own daughter companies or adding additional products to the program.

Every company success is based on a thorough first planning/vision !

Provestra - Fake or Shake, Earth Moving Reviews

Where is the female pleasure in making love? (or enjoyment of sex for the simple pleasure)

It’s in every aspect of the act but sometimes earth-moving equipment has to be employed to reveal it. For a man, it’s supposedly easy, obvious and timeless (or it was when young!) Nowadays, it might be argued there is no excuse for poor male performance or satisfaction, except the usual, alcohol, overriding health problems or guilty conscience.

For Women, even ‘the Modern Woman‘, the sexual act always means much more, regardless of whether they think they are equal to the average guys’ Wham, Bam, Thank You Ma’am casual attitude. A Healthy Sex Drive is just so important to Life itself as is sexual pleasure. Whilst there are some who say they can simulate the same pleasure, shopping in Rodeo Drive, they might just be kidding themselves or at least be in a semi-confused denial. The Act of Sex can be fantastic, elating, funny, sad, mind-blowing, relaxing, quiet, noisy, fast, slow, experimental, fulfilling, occasionally awful, et al, or it can be just a dramatic ‘faking it’ Act. If it’s solely an Act then it’s a crying shame as the very essence of people coming together in a loving fusion is lost. Of course, sex isn’t essential to your very existence in this Life( except your own conception) but it IS essential to Life itself and if the legitimate opportunity arises, that opportunity should be enjoyed to the maximum by both partners. Apparently, some 30% of women may never reach orgasm but they can certainly Act out the “Triple Yes” finale with a gusto. The guys wouldn’t have a clue as to whether it was the real thing or faked but the woman is left far less settled if the sexual pleasure is not climactic.

Nobody (meaning ‘No Body’) likes the thought of ingesting chemicals to overcome deficiencies that are not life threatening. So, to have the opportunity to take a proven ‘natural’ product, which will possibly revive dormant natural sexual responses, is thrilling in the extreme and products like Provestra provide just this opportunity for women around the world.
