My Sales Funnel Theory of Article Marketing IX

Of course, this is just an article, so I am not going to give you every last detail on how to do create your high ticket item. But it is really not that hard.

I am going to use example #3 from part VIII in this series to illustrate how you could create this high ticket item easily. Of course, the principles I will show you can be applied to each of the other examples.

So example #3 was to create a complete program that shows someone how they can take an existing offline business and duplicate it on the web, and sell country-wide or world wide.

So what would you need for this?

Let’s just brainstorm here:

1) They need an overview of how the web works.

2) They need to learn to build a web site.

3) They need to learn to create sales pages, squeeze pages, how the dynamics of the online business are different than offline.

4) They need to learn to market online (drive traffic).

You could make that list much longer. Let’s assume that your program will cover those four things.

I will go through each of these one at a time, with the point number corresponding to the above numbering:

1) You can write this yourself, or commission someone to do it for you. Then record it on a set of 12 cds - so they can learn in their car. Offer them both a pdf of the material, and the set of 12 cds.

2) If you have the ability to teach this, create a training core for this. Or buy the resell rights to one someone else has created.

3) Use a screen shot program to record a series of 12 video files that will show them exactly how to create each part of the system - one for a squeeze page, one for an order page, etc. - one video for each thing you want to teach them.

4) A complete how-to-do-it on driving traffic and marketing.

Next, coordinate all of these parts so that they flow together and precisely fit the target market.

Now that is the skeleton of your high-ticket product.

The next step is building the rest of your sales funnel so that it leads to this high-ticket, final product in your sales funnel. (Of course, it doesn’t always have to be the final product - you can always create one-on-one coaching or events, etc.)

Music Lessons For Piano - Guitar - Voice - Violin - Horns - And Drums

Music lessons have been talked about for years. The importance of them cannot be over stated. There are many approaches and ideas about music and if lessons actually help. A private tutor is like a Personal Trainer at the gym. A music teacher will challenge a student, motivate a student, change the routine to make it more interesting, and always bring fresh ideas to the teable. Music lessons benefit our life in twelve different ways.
Self-Confidence. Being able to go from learning notes and rhythms to producing meaningful music instills in your child a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence.

Coordination. Hand, eye, body posture and thought all working together are the ingredients of
playing an instrument. These coordination skills transfer to many other aspects of life.

Teamwork. Every child wants to be part of a group. Theory and musicianship classes, in addition to group performances and recitals provide just such unique opportunities.

Comprehension. Learning to perceive and derive meaning from musical sounds sharpens your
child’s ability to comprehend abstractions.

Problem-Solving. Learning the basics of musical language and interpreting a work through performance teaches your child the ability to understand a problem and reach an appropriate solution.

Discipline. Learning all of the basics of music and applying them correctly takes perception and discipline.

Art Appreciation. The words beauty, serenity and excitement come to life with each musical experience. These feelings help every child appreciate all forms of the arts.

Logical Reasoning. When your child learns to analyze a musical work from all perspectives or to improvise within a certain musical style, both inductive and deductive reasoning grows stronger.

Communication. Music offers the ability to cultivate our feelings and thoughts through nonverbal
means and to respond to these nonverbal thoughts in others.

Conceptualization. Your child learns to classify by learning to identify different types and styles of music and to recognize how cultures use music for personal expression.

Making Value Judgments. Learning to comprehend, consider and evaluate in music can help your child make informed decisions and uphold value judgments in other aspects of life.

Using Symbols. Learning to read, write and interpret musical notation strengthens the use of other symbol systems such as mathematics and language.
re are twelve important reason why music lessons are beneficial to the human mind.

Enrolling in a well respected program that offers recitals, university trained educators, and that is respected in the community is worth its weight in gold.

Canadian Online Pharmacy Or Mexico Online Pharmacy - Importing Medications And Some Considerations

The use of online pharmacies for the purchase of medications is a widely accepted practice used by consumers looking to find inexpensive and embarrassment free ways to purchase needed medications in a discreet manner. But now comes the topic of discussion, what about the importation of medications from outside of the USA from places like Canada or Mexico or even elsewhere? Is it wise? Are there risks involved both to your health and to your personal finances? What about legal issues? Hopefully this discussion will help to educate, increase awareness and consideration of the many faceted subject of purchasing medications from other countries and importing them into the USA.

First of all what is the main attraction for consumers to consider shopping for medications from other countries? The obvious answer is far cheaper prices for medications out of country than from those available in country. Some of the savings in price per pill from ordering out of country are absolutely astounding, sometimes savings of up to 90% are available - sometimes more - sometimes less, these prices dazzle and amaze consumers and produce an incredible temptation to consider purchasing from out of country, and who can blame them?

What are some considerations that consumers should look at before ordering out of country?

The main consideration for a consumer before ordering out of country should definitely be the issue of legality. Is it legal in State that I live to order medications from Canada, Mexico or overseas? This is a main consideration as ordering some medications may be considered as illegal as purchasing Cocaine from Brazil. So to answer this question it is recommended that you as a consumer will have to do some research, it is recommended to know the brand name and generic name of the medication you wish to purchase. It is also recommended to talk to customs about importation of that substance into your State; also a phone call to the local police station wouldn’t hurt either and ask about the legality of importing that substance. A thorough search online about importing a specific medication into your State is also recommended. It is recommended to find out if a medication prescribed out of country is valid in your State for the possession of such a substance. Many people choose to risk it and just order and hope it works out - this is a foolish way to approach something of this nature as the legal results could be disastrous - it is completely up to the consumer to know the local laws about the importation of medications from out of country before ordering.

What are some of the health and financial risks involved in ordering medications out of country? Let’s discuss some; when ordering medications from out of country a consumer should be completely assured that the online pharmacy is trustworthy, safe, and has some kind of 3rd party accountability to an online pharmacy checker type program so you can have confidence that no one is racking up charges to your stolen credit card number and also that the medication you are purchasing is a quality top grade trusted pharmaceutical laboratory produced substance. When ordering from verifiable sources you receive the medications shipped to you in their original packages so you know that you are receiving the correct medication whether it is a generic version or a brand name. Too many stories are circulating on the internet about ‘medications’ arriving in containers that are not original packaging and consumers opening the caplets to find only sand, sugar or sawdust inside instead of the medication they ordered. Other stories of ‘medications’ arriving in containers that are not original packaging that have impurities, filler mixed in, or who knows what, don’t risk your health, its recommended to only accept medications arriving in un-tampered original packaging from a reliable source.

Which countries is it wisest to order medications from? As long as the pharmacy sells medications in the original packages the safety factor is very high, yet a consideration is that the medications even though they are in their original packaging may be ‘overdue’, every medication has a shelf life and older medications may not be as effective as ones manufactured recently, always ask the online pharmacy to supply you with an expiration date of the medication. As an example, I am looking at a certain brand name bottle of Ibuprofen that has an expiration date written on it of 2009/12. Using the medication after this date may decrease its effectiveness and perhaps in some cases the safety of the substance if it begins to decompose. Buying medications from 1st world countries such as Canada, Australia, the U.K., etc. is typically safer then other countries as the standards in 1st world countries either meet or beat the FDA medication standards in the USA and existing government imposed safety and financial laws which must be abided by the pharmacies that operate in 1st world countries. This may or may not be the case in non-1st world countries.
As a final suggestion, reading and discussing about a certain online pharmacies on an online pharmacy forum is a good suggestion as you can learn from the triumphs and mistakes of other online pharmacy consumer.

Restaurant Management Schools - A Recipe for Success

“I’ve always enjoyed preparing and sharing food with others, however, I didn’t get serious about food service as a career until I had to research several careers as a high school project,” says Carol Steffey, a 19-year-old double major in culinary arts and restaurant management at Vincennes University (Vincennes, IN). “Previously I thought I wanted to pursue acting and the dramatic arts, but I feel my choice is much more rewarding because I get to use all my creativity and still entertain.”

Carol attests that an education at restaurant management schools — or schools, such as Vincennes, which offer restaurant management programs — will help to ensure your success in the industry. “Employers are always looking for educated, eager and trained professionals,” she says. “Some places insist upon a degree [from restaurant management schools] while others will accept comparable work experience, but having a degree or some registered classes under your belt will set you apart from the crowd.”

Carol has already made big steps toward her dreams. Recently, she was awarded a DiRoNA (Distinguished Restaurants of North America) scholarship — worth $2,000 — for her academic excellence and food service work experience (over 750 hours at the local Dairy Queen). “I think I won the scholarship because they were impressed with my ambition and work ethic,” says Carol. “I am very passionate about the food service industry — I want to do this for the rest of my life!”

But, she adds, it takes more than passion to be a true success. “My parents and family have taught me that you should earn your own rewards and that ethic has created a strong drive [in me] to excel. I dream big, but I don’t let my dreams stay dreams. I work to make them a reality.”

Check out the following tips from this aspiring chef:

- Get comfortable shoes! The restaurant business is not a normal 9-5 job — you’ll most likely be working ten to twelve hour days.

- Get cooking! There’s no time like the present to start getting your hands dirty. Ask friends and family if you can try a new recipe on them or try serving mom and dad a nice meal for two. Friends and family make the best critics and they will most likely still eat your mistakes!

- Don’t be afraid of hard work and don’t get discouraged. Everyone has to start at the bottom before they can rise to the top. You may not begin work as the executive chef for a five star restaurant, but pay attention to those above you and work hard, and soon you’ll climb the ranks.

- Do your research! There’s a lot of history in this industry so crack open a few cookbooks, check out some chef biographies or research some favorite restaurants on the web. If an ingredient or name is used often, look it up. Familiarize yourself with the wonderful world of food and all its history.

If cooking is something you think you’re cut out for full-time, then find out more about restaurant management schools and programs today!

9 Ways to Bring Out the Best in You and Your Child

Personal growth and parenting aren’t often words put together in the same sentence. Yet parenting provides the perfect opportunity for growth. And not just for our child’s growth, but for our own. If we really want to bring out the best in our children, we need to call forth the best in ourselves. 9 Ways to Bring out the Best in You and Your Child is a brand new book that provides a blueprint for parents to empower their children and themselves, rather than struggling for control. Nine chapters describe how you and your family can live together creatively, harmoniously and authentically. The principles are laid out simply, with plenty of humor and stories to help you put them to work immediately in your life. 1. The Way of Mutual Respect based on love, not fear, forms the basis of interaction with our children. Setting clear boundaries with children teaches them respect. We respect them by not crossing their boundaries, and teach them to respect us by respecting our own time and boundaries. “Politely tell a complaining child that he is welcome to eat what he likes from the dinner selection, but that you are not making him a hot dog because that’s ‘all he’ll eat.’ Making his special dinner teaches him he doesn’t have to respect you and your time. Forcing him to sit and eat his broccoli crosses his boundaries and fails to respect him.”

2. Children will get our attention one way or the other! Many parents spend a lifetime reacting to their child’s misbehavior without really knowing what they want to create. “Life is where we put our attention.” Stop focusing on misbehavior and give your attention to what’s working in your family. Step out of your reactive patterns for a moment, project yourself to your 90th birthday party, and describe in detail what you would like your children to remember about you, and what they learned from you. The Way of Vision is about creating a vision for your family that inspires and guides your day to day interactions.

3. Turn power struggles into powerful relationships by focusing on what you will do, not what you will make your child do. For example, if your child has a tantrum in the store, instead of trying to make her stop, focus on what you will do. Concentrate on controlling your own inner environment while you calmly carry her out of the store. When we try to control children they resist. We can spend our lives in power struggles. The Way of Mutual Empowerment recognizes that real power lies within.

One mom told me as she focused on what she would do she did the only thing she felt like doing - she laid down on the supermarket floor beside her screaming 4 year old and screamed with her. Her child stopped immediately and said, Mommy what are you doing? Mommy, stop!” Apparently both tantrums ended abruptly! Whenever you start to feel hopeless or powerless in a situation, ask yourself, “What will I do?” instead of “What do I need to make my child do?

4. How do we keep erupting emotions from destroying our relationships? The Way of Emotional Grounding means addressing and safely releasing the emotions that drive behavior for both children and parents. Trying to change the behavior without addressing the underlying emotions is like cutting the head off a dandelion and expecting it not to grow anymore! Next time your child bursts into anger, stay calm inside yourself, and allow her to drain her frustrations. Help her identify the emotions underneath her frustration and anger: “I see how disappointing it is for you when you can’t have the toy you want.” Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Instead of screaming at kids to settle down, settle down yourself, and act from the calm state you want them to acquire.

5. “Why won’t these kids listen to me?” is the theme song of many a beleaguered parent. The key to having your child listen to you is to first listen to him, so that he feels understood and free to express himself. Listen to yourself, and stop using the phrases and statements that shut down communication. (If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times… So what makes us think telling him one more time will help? I mean, honestly, who is the slow learner here?) When your child misbehaves tell him how you feel about his behavior without blaming him or ridiculing him. Stop giving so much attention to communication that centers on conflict. The Way of Communication means to make a concerted effort to increase the amount of dialogue that occurs in your home and watch the environment improve. Creating the time and space for meaningful conversation is perhaps the best thing you can do for your family life, and for your child’s education. Making after school, mealtimes or bedtimes inviting times for conversation can work wonders for everyone.

6. The Way of Encouragement teaches children to learn from their mistakes by seeing problems as “opportunities in work clothes.” That means that we stop punishing our child when she makes a mistake. Instead, let’s help her to recognize the skills and qualities she has to correct the situation. Let’s allow our child to take reasonable risks so that she can develop the strengths and qualities she needs to meet life’s challenges. Look deeply into your child and see the strengths and qualities within, and like a mirror, reflect them back to her so that she may see and claim them for herself. Focus on what your child does well and describe it specifically. For example, if she helps her little brother fix his toy, instead of simply saying, “Good girl!” tell her how much you appreciate her helpfulness. “When you help your brother without even being asked, that helps me. I like it when you take the initiative like that” Point out her strengths. “That’s very creative the way you put those pieces together to fix his train.” We teach best by pointing out specifically what’s done well, not be pointing out everything that’s wrong.

7. We all need to learn The Way of Living Harmoniously with Others. Our relationship with our child teaches him how to listen and express his feelings and helps him learn how to get along sociably. Siblings provide a testing ground for developing social skills. The well intentioned parent who intervenes to stop every sibling outbreak inadvertently fuels sibling rivalry. Children often argue to get parents’ attention, and to push their buttons! Stop reacting to your children’s squabbling. Be prepared, however, that the squabbling may at first intensify. After all, they used to be able to push your buttons. If you do not react, they may naturally push harder at first! Stay out of it unless one child is in danger. Then, step in to remove that child. Without blame, and remaining calm yourself, give both children time to settle down and help them to drain their frustrations.

8. The Way of Loving Discipline focuses on respectfully helping children to make amends and find solutions to problems they create. Punishment creates feelings of resentment, revenge or guilt and is not effective discipline. In fact, it can destroy relationships. So instead of sitting your child in the corner or lecturing him to make him feel so bad he wouldn’t dream of coloring on your walls again, give him soap and water and let him clean the walls. (Chances are good that while he’s sitting in the corner, he’s plotting revenge rather than feeling remorseful anyway!) Show him where he can find paper to color on next time. Sometimes we focus so much on changing our child’s behavior that we destroy our relationship with him. Building healthy relationships is the key to discipline, for the only real authority and influence we have with our child is that which they give us based on their attachment to us.

9. Your children need your presence, not just your presents. Remind yourself to stay in this moment, right now. Let go of worrying about the future and mauling over the past, and appreciate this very moment. Rarely is there a problem in this moment. Live this moment as you desire the future to be, and the future will fulfill your desires. The Way of Parenting with Spirit means reaching deeply within yourself and connecting from the depth of who you are to the depth within your child. That means that you must take time for you! You don’t do your family any favors by burning yourself out and working yourself into a frazzle. Treat yourself to a bubble bath (without the children!), go for a walk or a run, or do something else that nurtures you. Be all that you are and you will encourage your child to be all that she is. Teach her to know and to trust her own light and inner wisdom. Let your light shine, and as you do so your child will feel free to shine her own light in this world.

Sir Winston Churchill - The Writer

Voted in a national televised poll as the “Greatest Briton”, the remarkable career of Winston Spencer Churchill (1874-1965) stretched from the later Victorian years through into the reign of the second Queen Elizabeth. He charged with horse-mounted cavalry in 19th century warfare, served on the battlefields of the first world war, and led his nation in the second. He was, however, much more than a political and wartime leader.

Although born at Blenheim Palace into the high aristocracy of Britain he was not rich. He earned his living with his pen, first as a journalist, and later as a biographer and historian. In 1953 he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.

WSC is sometimes confused with another Winston Churchill who was at the same time producing popular novels in the United States. He himself, however, wrote only one novel, Savrola, in the late 1890s. In common with the work of many great novelists of that era it was first serialised (in Macmillan’s Magazine) before publication as a book, but Winston was not a great novelist and quickly learned to concentrate on his strengths.

His early works were a combination of reportage and opinion on military and political matters, often in the context of his own hair-raising adventures. Today he would probably be known as a free-lance war correspondent. From Cuba to India to the Sudan and South Africa he followed the sound of battle, at times combining his writing with a formal commission in the army, not infrequently to the irritation of his superiors.

After the turn of the century, it may come to many as something of a surprise that, although now an active politician, if we ignore for the moment his short magazine articles, letters to editors and speeches, only a few of Churchill’s published writings were on matters of contemporary political policy. “Mr. Brodrick’s Army” in 1903 challenged the military budgets. Another small book, though, published in 1910 with the title, “The People’s Rights”, stands out from most of his work. It was adapted from material accumulated for a series of speeches given in the industrial towns of Lancashire, and illustrates both the thoroughness with which he prepared himself for such speaking tours and the extent to which, even though himself from a very different level of society, he was concerned for the difficulties faced by the ordinary working people of the country.

Even by the standards of that time, his father could not be credited with good parenting skills, but Churchill worshipped him all the same. Lord Randolph Churchill had been a political shooting star. He achieved the eminence of becoming Chancellor of the Exchequer (roughly equivalent to Finance Minister in many other countries, and effectively No. 2 in the British governmental system), was briefly brilliant but then rapidly declined as his final illness took hold. Winston spent years researching the background and work of the father he did not really know during his lifetime, and in 1906 published an outstanding two-volume biography.

Going further back in time, the high position of the Churchill family derived from John Churchill, “Britain’s greatest soldier”, hero of major military campaigns in Europe during the 18th century, and ennobled as the first Duke of Marlborough,. WSC’s four-volume biography of his famous ancestor, published between 1933 and 1938, was a further considerable literary achievement.

In addition to compilations of short pieces such as the biographical “Great Contemporaries”, and the autobiographical, “My Early Life”, there were to be three more major works. The 1920s saw the appearance of “The World Crisis”, his five-volume history of the First World War, and from 1948 to 1953 came the six volumes of “A History of the Second World War”. Both of these were strongly influenced by his own points of view based on having been in high office during both of the conflicts. The latter especially has often been criticised by later (often iconoclastic and revisionist) historians as lacking objectivity, but one has to ask how else people can write about matters in which they have been so deeply and personally involved. He never claimed that this was the last word in factual history; he was well aware, for example, that he had left out matters which could have had serious diplomatic implications in those early years of the Cold War as the world struggled to adapt to a bipolar system with two confronting, and confrontational, superpowers.

Churchill’s writing of history, like his politics, was conditioned by his belief system, his worldview, and this was never more apparent than in his final four-volume work: “A History of the English-Speaking Peoples.” Although much of the detailed work (he was now in his 80s) was carried out by his “syndicate” of supporters there is no doubt as to who was in charge of the final product or who determined its philosophy and style. To many in the early 21st century, when the traditional British values are widely derided and Britain’s former role in the world castigated as no better than arrogant imperialism, Churchill’s view of the world must seem strange. Reading him now, however, might help to rebuild an appreciation of the degree to which the past is the foundation for the life we presently enjoy.
Was he a perfect man? No! Of course not, but it is probably true that in a world where no-one is without some weaknesses Churchill was not only the “Greatest Briton” but was the great man of his times, standing head and shoulders above the rest.

At the time of the 1953 Nobel Prize presentation in Stockholm, Churchill was in Bermuda meeting the American President and French Prime Minister (taking the seventeen hour flight in spite of having, unknown to the wider world, recently suffered a stroke). His wife, Clementine, attended and delivered his acceptance speech in which he had written: “The roll on which my name has been inscribed represents much that is outstanding in the world’s literature of the twentieth century. The judgment of the Swedish Academy is accepted as impartial, authoritative, and sincere throughout the civilized world. I am proud but also, I must admit, awestruck at your decision to include me. I do hope you are right. I feel we are both running a considerable risk and that I do not deserve it. But I shall have no misgivings if you have none.”

S. Siwertz of the Swedish Academy had no such misgivings and in the presentation ceremony declared: “Churchill’s political and literary achievements are of such magnitude that one is tempted to resort to portray him as a Caesar who also has the gift of Cicero’s pen. Never before has one of history’s leading figures been so close to us by virtue of such an outstanding combination.” As President Eisenhower once wrote, “Neither England nor the world shall soon look upon his like again.”

David Murray has been an adviser on managerial and ethical issues to companies, governments and voluntary agencies for almost thirty years, and as a speaker has addressed appreciative audiences on every continent except Antarctica. Having been an avid book collector for more than forty years he now advises the family book-selling business and is the creator of its new initiatives: http://www.Read-the-World.com and http://www.the-Churchill-file.co.uk

How to Braise Meat

“To Braise” means browning in fat and cooking covered in a small amount of liquid. It’s a method used to tenderize and intensify flavors in meat or vegetables. Usually inexpensive cuts of meat are best suited for this style of cooking, so it’s an affordable gourmet meal with little fuss.

Listed below are the 4 basic steps to braising meat, and an example chart for different meats and their cooking times, followed by a recipe for: Braised Ginger Beef with Pomegranate Sauce.

1st Start by choosing a cut of meat. Lamb or beef shank, pork or beef shoulder roast, top blade steak, brisket, chuck roast, and short or back ribs are the most common beef, lamb and pork braising choices. Most are tougher cuts of meat with high levels of protein known as collagen. Collagen cooked at low temperatures for long period’s converts to gelatin in the braising process which in turn tenderizes the meat and creates a rich thick sauce. So don’t think you need to buy a tender cut of meat to end up with a good meal. In the end tougher cuts of meat are better for creating the richest flavor and thicker sauce. The secret is in the gentle slow cooking. Chicken and fish are also great choices, however, chicken should not be skinless and bone in is best, preferably legs and thighs, and for fish, shark and swordfish cuts will hold up better than others.

2nd Then brown in fat. Depending on your recipe, most meats are browned first in a small amount of fat for color and flavor enhancing. Using a Dutch Oven or large heavy pot with a tight fitting lid, add your fat, heat to a hot temperature, add the meat and brown on all sides. Usually browning takes 10-20 minutes and is a process that does not cook the meat all the way through, it’s a surface cooking called browning or searing to lock in flavor. Most commonly meat is left whole for braising, but if meats are cut, remember same size portions are the best for even cooking.

Tips: For successful browning, foods must be dry and free of moisture or steaming not browning will result. Also not crowding your pan will allow moisture to escape during the browning process and give you a properly browned item.

3rd Then add your liquid. Liquids can include, wine, apple juice, water, broth or etc. Liquids, however, should not cover the meat. Usually no more than a ¼ - 1 cup is needed and sometimes no liquid is added depending on the recipe. Also at this point other items can be added, onions, garlic, spices, vegetables and etc.

4th Cover and cook on a very low heat, over a stove top, in a slow cooker or in the oven usually for 1 to 4 or more hours, depending on the recipe. Oven cooking is most effective, due to even heat from all sides which offers the best flavor and tenderizing results, along with a less fussy project. ( braising temperatures are 145-300 degrees, inexperienced cooks, however, should not cook below 185-200 without proper equipment for temperature control, meat can spoil if improperly cooked on to low a heat, if there is a simmer (small bubbling) going on in the pot you know your temp is not to low)

Example Cooking Times:

Lamb Shank, four to six shanks each one pound, 2 ½ hours

Shoulder roast 3-4 pound, 3½ - 4 hours

Top blade steaks, 2 ½ to 3 pound, 1 ½ inch thick, 1 ½ to 2 hours

Brisket, 3½ to 5 pound, 1 ½ inch thick, 3-4 hours

Back ribs, 3-4 pounds, 2×2x4 inches, 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours

Short ribs, 3-5 pounds, 2 ½ to 4 hours

Boneless chuck roast, 2½ -3 pounds, 2½ hours

Chicken, bone in, 1 hour

Swordfish, 2-4 pounds, 1 inch thick, ½ to 1 hour

Ginger Beef with Pomegranate Sauce

3 - 4 pound Brisket or Shoulder Roast

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 large onion, chopped

3 inches of fresh ginger, sliced ¼ inch thick

15 large garlic cloves, pealed and left whole

1/3 cup soy sauce

1/3 cup pomegranate syrup (most stores carry this)

1/3 cup brown sugar

Wash the brisket and dry excess moisture from the surface of the meat.

In a heavy pot with tight fitting lid or Dutch oven, heat the oil and brown the brisket and onions together for about 7-10 minutes. Turn the brisket to evenly brown on all sides.
Add the remaining ingredients, cook for about 3-5 minutes until sugar is melted and sauce becomes hot, stir well, cover and bake in a 300o oven for about 3-4 hours, stirring once or twice to baste the meat. (a slow cooker can also be used and will require no stirring, however I like to stir and baste once just because I enjoy checking the progress)

For stove top cooking, cover and keep flame low, and sauce at a slow simmer, stirring about every 30-45 minutes. Cook the brisket for about 3-4 hours, or until meat is tender and sauce has thickened.

If sauce has not thickened to desired thickness when the brisket is ready; remove meat and lid, then reduce for a couple minutes.

Slice meat and arrange on a large platter, pour the sauce over the top and garnish with cherry tomatoes and or parsley.

Back Acne and Its Treatment with Colloidal Silver

Acne is basically a skin disease normally attacking youth. It can affect various parts of the body which includes face, neck, chest, upper arms and lastly back. The back acne is different from others and it needs special treatment. It is different from other acne because the affected part of the body is not easily accessible to the diseased person and some one else has to help in applying medicines to the affected area. Many people are too embarrassed to ask for help until the condition is too painful to bear any longer. Therefore most of the cases of back acne, which gets reported to dermatologists, are found to be in acute stage.

Another factor which complicates back acne is its symptoms itself. Unlike other varieties of acne, where it can be spotted very easily by the diseased person himself or by somebody else, back acne is hard to spot by anyone. This is because the eruptions are not usually visible and can’t be picked up easily. This is another reason of all reported back acne problems being severe.

The appearance of back acne is similar to other type of acne. The skin gets blotchy. The skin loses its smooth appearance.

It is a myth that more boys than girls suffer from back acne and therefore it is harder to treat. This is not correct. Acne is an equal opportunity condition. People of all races and ages get acne. Nearly 85 percent of people between the ages of 12 and 24 develop the disorder. Teen acne, adult acne and back acne are all difficult to get rid of. The only thing required is the right acne treatment.

Like other form of acne, cause of back acne is also not very clear. It is believed that acne is a disorder resulting from the action of hormones on the skin’s oil glands (sebaceous glands), which lead to plugged pores and outbreaks of lesions commonly called pimples or zits. However, some researchers attribute occurrence of acne to certain bacterial infections amongst other causes like unhygienic environment and diet. Clogging of hair follicle due to various reasons is the major cause responsible for development of acne condition. Just like other acne, back acne can show up in any form. It can be blackheads, pimples, pustules, or even cysts, the most severe form of acne.

Acne scars on the back are more common, as the back is more prone to nodules and cysts that go deeper. If the inflammation is near the surface it is called a pustule, if it is deeper it forms a papule. Cysts start deeper still. However back acne when treated properly often clears faster than facial acne. One tip, apply the product to the entire back, not just the eruptions (pimples). In some cases back acne might require antibiotics in addition to any topical product. Washing the back with aloe vera soap can alleviate the symptoms even if it doesn’t cure the acne. Cure is possible but it can take a long time.

Treatment of back acne needs special care as it mostly gets noticed in acute stage. Also, during treatment, the diseased person has to take extra care so as not to cause friction by rubbing the skin. People should avoid sun burning. A sunburn that reddens the skin or suntan that darkens the skin may make blemishes less visible and make the skin feel drier. However, these benefits are only temporary, and there are known risks of excessive sun exposure, such as more rapid skin aging and a risk of developing skin cancer.

A number of home remedies are available for back acne treatment, which has been practiced since ancient time. Use of dietary supplements like colloids is one of the remedies preferred by many sufferers. Hormonal imbalances can be repaired with dietary supplements and Colloidal Silver is a natural supplement. Furthermore, colloidal silver is also known for its proprietary of killing bacteria and hence can be used in treatment of acne.

At the onset, it should be clearly understood that Colloidal Silver supplement is not a cure for back acne but it can help in regulating imbalance of hormones. With the help of ‘bacteria killing’ proprietary Colloidal Silver can kill the bacteria responsible for occurrence of acne. However, it can not eliminate the acne totally as it can not elevate the root cause behind acne. Even other substances known for their characteristic of ‘killing bacteria’ such as topical creams and anti-biotic creams can not remove the acne in totality

Colloidal silver is the main constituent of this soap, which can be used for back acne treatment. Colloidal Silver is nothing but deionized distilled water containing small silver particles. Colloidal Silver supplement is safe for use as it is prepared through non-chemical method and hence does not have any side effects. Silver particles curtail development of infective agents like fungi and bacteria. The oxygen metabolism of the cells is inhibited by the silver ions present in the Colloidal Silver which leads into destruction of micro-organisms (bacteria) that are considered main cause behind appearance of acne. Such destroyed micro-organisms are then eliminated by the immune system. In this way, Colloidal Silver soap can help in reducing risk of aggravation of acne condition, but is surely not a cure for acne, since there is not one.

Colloidal Silver, being natural, is a good substance to compliment acne treatment. It can also be used as a part of combination therapy.
