Green Tea, Can It Actually Reverse The Aging Process?

Lately there has been a lot of talk about green tea and its superior antioxidant abilities or effects. Numerous products are now hitting the shelves from vitamins to nail polish treatments all with hints of green tea advertised all over them. The question though is can green tea really reverse the aging process?

Many scientists and doctors are currently researching this perplexing situation. It is well believed that green tea has antioxidant polyphenols like ECGC that do display the ability to ward off and even retard certain cancers and precancers like actinic keratoses.

I have to say certain cancers because only a few types of cancers have been scientifically tested to date. This is due to the continuously growing astronomical costs of medical research and the fact that this sort of testing takes years before results are accepted as proven. Many stages of research will also be required before much human testing can be done.

From the current research, though we can elucidate that green tea has remarkable antioxidant properties and has been proven to prevent and retard mouth and laryngeal cancers. This is due to the fact that the polyphenols contained in green tea inhibit the free radicals produced by cellular activities and environmental damage (like from UV radiation). These free radicals when left on their own actually cause aging.

Various antioxidants from fruits like Goji and acai berries, blueberries and grapes to black, white and green teas have been found to exhibit excellent abilities in slowing down or stopping the damage caused by these free radicals.

Only one antioxidant, however, has actually been proven to reverse free radical damage, the polyphenols of green tea. Some people say that to experience the great antioxidant and free radical quelshing properties of green tea that one must drink large, copious and unrealistic amounts. This is not true.

In one experiment it was shown that just chewing the leaves has the ability to ward off and reverse or retard oral cancer. In another experiment in Japan a salve was prepared from minced green tea leaves and applied to patients that were burned from radiation exposure. The salve was found to promote healing, reduce scarring and retard cancerous and precancerous cellular growth.

That should be enough to state that green tea does exhibit great antioxidant abilities and that since free radicals are what bring on the aging process that green tea polyphenols like ECGC can inhibit these free radicals and quite possibly inhibit the aging process. There is even a story of a Chinese herbalist whom lived 252 years because they ate Goji berries every day. Goji berries are revered for their high levels of antioxidants.

Now, since this story cannot be proven and is just lore we cannot accept that as fact, but green tea has one of the highest levels of antioxidants of any natural food or supplement and therefore should be seen as a great antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-aging treatment with great potential whether it be in the form of hot tea, leaves for chewing, or a salve for exterior application.

Basic Survival Strategy for Affiliate Marketers

After spending years in this industry, working very hard and toiling for the best results we have found out the elements of good marketing which yield spectacular results in minimum amount of time. These elements have proven their worth in the past and will definitely continue to prove themselves worthy in the near future.

Some of the skills that will help you to survive in this industry of affiliate marketing are:-

1. One should dedicate one website for one product instead of cramping in all the products in one single web page. If you cramp up all the products on a single webpage then you are likely to save expenditures in the short run, but you may suffer loses in the near future. Instead it is advisable to have a website for a single product. You can include the review of your product on your webpage so that the potential customers can get to know about the things that can happen to them after using the products. It is better to include the testimonials of the users of the product on the webpage of the product. Before doing so you should be 100%sure that the users are willing to display their name and photograph on the website. Articles that speak about the uses of the product can also be included on the webpage, since they are likely to be of a great help. It is very important to pay due attention to make the webpage look more attractive and this key element should not be ignored. The headlines and titles should be catchy and attractive, so that the viewers are forced to contact the seller immediately. It is very important to highlight the special points, so that the viewers are impressed and would like to make an enquiry about the product.

2. The viewers can also be provided with free reports that can help in increasing the level of sales of the seller. Reports should be placed in such a place that the readers can never miss them, they should be preferable be placed at the top of the page. Create an auto responder so that you can send messages to the viewers who sign up. There are two outcomes which are likely to happen when somebody visit your website, either that person will turn out to be one of your clients or his will leave your web page and never return in the future. You can send details of your product to your clients at regular, so that you can remind them about your product at regular intervals and thereby improving your sales. The content of such reminders should include information for a specific reason of buying the product and the customer should in no manner feel that it is just an attempt on your part to sell your products because in that case the customer might just lose his interest. You should emphasize more on the benefits of using your product and how can their usage help you in making your life easy. You should try to avoid the usage of the words like ‘Free’ because these are now considered as old techniques and hence they are not likely to yield much response from the customers. You should make the people, who had visited your site, realize that if they don’t buy your product then they are likely to lose a great opportunity.

3. Next come the task of attracting quality traffic to your website because if people who have no interest in your product visit your site then it will be like wasting your time on those customers. Such type of customers will visit your site, move on and he will never visit your site again. An easy way to locate a customer is by writing an article in e-zine and e-reports. You should then try to make your articles look more attractive and catchy and you should write about 2-3 articles every week consisting of 300-600 words. In this case the above given strategy can attract up to 100 prospective customers easily. Thus you should try to attract 1000 prospective customers so that you can make at least 10 of them as your customers.

Keeping it Healthy at Esthetics Schools

The study of skin care is hardly as simple as it might seem — your skin is a living, breathing organ that is as complex as it is commonplace. Esthetics schools give those who have a passion for skin care and an a desire to make others feel and look healthier a chance to convert those interests into a career.

At esthetics schools, students learn advanced techniques for keeping skin nourished and supple. Most esthetics schools employ a curriculum that is part hands-on training and part academic study. Obviously, as an esthetician, students need to learn how to perform treatments like exfoliations and skin peels. However, the science behind these practices is equally as important at esthetics schools. As a result, students at esthetics schools are mandated to take courses in anatomy, dermatology, bacteriology, and even chemistry and electricity. In fact, some degrees at esthetics schools even require students to earn credits in tangential fields like business studies or product knowledge. Like any other field, the more educated graduates of esthetics schools are on the nuances and peripheral details to their academic focus, the more versatile and applicable their degree will be when it comes time to apply it to the workforce.

Beautiful skin is an indicator of a health, but it’s also a catalyst for making people feel good about themselves. Esthetics schools typically teach students a wide host of cosmetology techniques like hair removal, eyebrow shaping and tinting, and mask applications. In fact, one of the main benefits of the job many estheticians cite is the rewarding feeling of improving someone’s self-esteem. More serious skin conditions like sun damage or acne can also fall under the care of an esthetician. Regardless of the severity of skin problems that an esthetics degree will train students to remedy, the outcome of improving the lives and confidence of clientele remains a continual source of pride and accomplishment for estheticians.

Even given the very specific nature of the training, an esthetics career can lead professionals in a surprising number of directions. Some estheticians specialize in a particular treatment or procedure that they practice in a spa environment. Others offer a wider range of more general services, either in a spa or in a private office. Still others wind up working in retail settings where they are part esthetician and part marketer, hired to plug particular brands of skin care products while performing makeovers for customers.

Explore specific esthetics schools to determine which degrees, certificates, and curriculums best match your goals for providing rewarding and beneficial skin care.

Nutrisystem vs. MediFast - A Comparison of Two Popular Diet Plans, Nutrisystem & MediFast

You may have decided that using a diet meal replacement plan or diet food plan would be the easiest way for you to lose weight. However, there are so many plans available; you may not know which program would work the best for you. In this article I will compare two very popular diet food, meal replacement plans Nutrisystem and MediFast. These diet plans may seem similar, although once you read about each plan, you will find they are very different.

Nutrisystem Overview:

Nutrisystem offers prepackaged, pre-portioned diet meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks. You are advised to add fresh vegetables, fruits, salads to lunch, and dinner meals. The meals are low calorie, yet nutritionally sound with the added fresh fruit and vegetables. The diet meals are based on low glycemic, good carbs, with the right amount of protein and fiber that your body needs for increased fat and calorie burning.

The Nutrisystem program also offers a free weight loss community website where you can get free diet counseling, weight loss tips and community support in your weight loss endeavors.

Nutrisystem advises if you eat their prepackaged diet meals and follow their plan, you can potentially lose 1 to 3 pounds a week.

MediFast Overview:

MediFast offers prepackaged diet meal replacement foods including shakes, soups, bars, pudding, drinks and cereals. Their name basically sums up how their plan works; you are “fasting” most of the day. Their most popular program is the 5 and 1 diet program where you eat 5 MediFast meals a day and 1 low calorie, low fat meal you cook and prepare yourself. Their plan is designed to be calorie deficient (between 800 – 1000 calories a day), thereby allowing your body to use fat for energy.

MediFast also offers a free weight loss community website where you can get diet support, weight loss tips, diet recipes and more.

MediFast advises if you follow their 5 in 1 diet program and use their diet meal replacements you can potentially lose up to 20 pounds in a month.

The Cost:

Nutrisystem costs about $11 a day, $77 a week and $308 a month plus shipping, although if you choose their auto-ship program, you will get a discount and a free week of diet meals and free shipping.

MediFast costs about $10 a day, $70 a week or $275 a month if you order one of their 4-week variety packages.

Both Nutrisystem and MediFast offer a money back guarantee minus shipping if you choose to return unopened packages of the diet meals within 30 days.

The Difficulty:

Nutrisystem: Using the Nutrisystem diet meals for weight loss should be an easy transition since you will be eating regular meals and snacks. You may find the calorie reduction in the meals leave you hungry or not satisfied. The convenience of the prepackaged, very little preparation of the diet meals should make the program easier to follow. Staying on the diet for a long term may become difficult because of the lower calorie intake makes you feel unsatisfied. The taste of the foods (which will be discussed next) may also be hard to enjoy.

MediFast: Transitioning to the MediFast meal replacement plan may be difficult at first since you will be replacing most of your meals with a meal replacement shake, soup or bar. Sometimes a drastic change in your eating habits can be a bonus because it may give you a greater feeling of dieting control. Staying on the diet for a long term may be very difficult because of the monotony of replacing 5 meals a day with the MediFast foods and the taste of the foods.

The Taste:

Nutrisystem: There are reports and reviews throughout the internet regarding the taste of Nutrisystem’s diet meals. Some people rave about the taste (although these “raves” may be biased if the person is promoting the program), and many people absolutely hate the taste of the diet meals. On average, many Nutrisystem dieters report they have favorite diet meals, while some suffer through the taste of the meals because of the convenience of the program and the weight loss achieved. Recently, Nutrisystem listened to their customers and introduced many new “better tasting” diet meals that may be more palatable.

MediFast: There are also mixed reviews on the taste of MediFast meal replacements. On average, many MediFast dieters report that the tastes of the meal replacement foods are “okay,” not overly tasty, yet good enough to stay on the diet program to achieve weight loss goals.

Conclusion:

Nutrisystem diet meal plan is a convenient, diet food program that offers a membership site with diet counseling and diet tips. The transition to using their diet foods should not be too difficult since it is recommended to eat 5 diet meals a day supplemented with fresh fruit and vegetables. Since the diet meals should be less calories than you normally eat, and designed to increase your body’s ability to burn fat, you can expect to lose 1 to 3 pounds a week. The diet plan may work best for people who may need a support group for weight loss, yet are too busy to shop for and prepare diet meals, and don’t have time to continually analyze food calories and fat grams.

MediFast diet meal replacement program is also a convenient weight loss program that offers a community forum, diet support and tips. The transition to using their diet meal replacements 5 times a day may be difficult. Yet, it may also help many dieters resolve to stay on the diet plan since the results may be realized fast with up to 20 pounds lost in the first month. The diet program may work best for people who need to lose a significant amount of weight. In addition, it can also work well for those who desire convenient meal replacements, yet also wish to prepare a fresh meal once a day.

Opening A Dollar Store - Assemble Your Due Diligence Team

Are you considering opening a dollar store? If you are planning to purchase an existing store, there are some suggestions to consider. Every potential business buyer is strongly encouraged to start by identifying and utilizing a team of experts.

Your team of experts should include both an attorney and an accountant or CPA. The attorney should be an expert in business law, and franchise law if franchises are being examined. The accountant or CPA should be an expert on business accounting, preferably in the discount retail trade area. Other experts could include trusted advisors, bankers, consultants and industry experts with appropriate credentials to add value in examining the specific business that is of interest to you. All of them come together to provide you the right support as you are opening a dollar store.

Use your expert team to complete the development of your investigative due diligence process and questions. Plan beforehand; identifying exactly which team members will be doing which tasks to support the process. This is especially important at key decision-making points during the process. Opening a dollar store doesn’t need to be too overwhelming. That is especially true if you have the right team on your side.

Remember: It’s better to have spent $5,000.00 on investigative due diligence and not started a business that would have failed than to have spent $1.00 and lost everything on a business that should not have been started. Be frugal in your investigative due diligence spending, but don’t stop short of spending the right amount to enable you to have the data and to make smart decisions.

Opening a dollar store does have an element of risk. Reduce that risk a little by assembling a solid team of experts and conducting thorough investigative due diligence.

How to Design a Successful Custom Shirt Strategy for Trade Shows

True or False?

Using promotional shirts and apparels as your trade shows giveaway will always yield positive results for your business.

False.

Like any marketing strategy, giving away custom clothing will not always guarantee success to your campaign. All marketing strategies, from the simple distribution of promotional items to a nationwide tri-media campaign, are just tools that can help you reach your goals. The same is true when used in the trade show setting. The overall effectiveness of your trade show apparel giveaway strategy is largely dependent on how you wield these “tools” in relation to your target objectives.

Now, the next question that you should ask is this: How can you effectively wield a promotional giveaway strategy in attaining your goals?

Again, like any marketing strategy, there is no exact formula that you can follow in order to be successful. Every marketing guru will have his or her own “proven” approach in maximizing the ROI of your marketing budget, but in truth, there is no clear and exact path that will be applicable to all. The reason for this is that each industry, and each company in that industry will require a different set of strategies to fit their own strengths, culture, and values. Though, what is possible is to have a set of strategies that can serve as a skeletal framework for your own customized approach. This set of strategies, for certain, will not cover all the aspects that can help you achieve a successful marketing campaign. But what these strategies can only do is to provide you the guidelines that you should expand on to fit your own business.

And as for the trade show clothing strategy, below is the framework that your program should have:

1. Do an extensive research on your target market.

It’s never about you, and it’s always about them. Doing a thorough market research is something that should be present not just in the promotional items strategy, but in ALL marketing strategy. Remember, a trade show is the venue for you to meet your target market face-to-face. Even before you step inside that arena, you should already know what they want. That way, they become more responsive to your promotional strategy. Again, a trade show apparel strategy may or may not work for the occasion, but knowing your market well increases the likelihood of its success.

2. Evaluate and pick the best trade show where you can meet your target market.

Not all trade shows are for your company. It takes a lot of preparation, a good strategy and man power allocation just to attend one trade show. In choosing which trade show to participate in, take into consideration the geographic, demographic and psychographic factors that dictate who your target market is. For instance, if you are in the real estate industry, you might want to skip on attending a general construction summit. If this construction trade show is one on property development, that’s when you can put it up for consideration.

3. Choose and design the perfect trade show clothing to fit your market, event, and brand.

Again, based on the segment you are targeting, you should choose the appropriate promotional product that your target market will appreciate. Design also plays a big factor in the success of your campaign. Examples of design issues to focus on are saliency of logo to t-shirt colors and the clarity of message on printed shirts.

4. Plan a distribution program for your promotional items during the trade show which should answer the following questions:

  • How can your target market find or get attracted to your trade show booth during the event?
  • How can you effectively distribute your trade show apparel?
  • How can you deliver your message (sales pitch) or gather information from your target market (contact details) during the distribution process?

5. Create a system to organize all gathered info.

This step is often overlooked since most believe that the success of the promotional item campaign is only measured by the success of the event itself. But in truth, this step will separate the weak from the strong marketing strategy. A solid system in organizing your gathered info will often determine the ROI of your efforts.

6. Design a lead follow-up program from the gathered information.

In other words, call and follow-up on your gathered leads.

These 6 steps will guide you in making a promotional giveaway strategy, such as customized clothing, work for you. Again, you should remember that this is only a framework and your campaign should never be limited to what is provided above.

Toys and The Development of Emotional Intelligence

The relationship between toys and the way children use imaginative play to express intelligence is always a source of surprise to me. Emotional Intelligence describes the position that there is more than one type of intelligence – IQ, and EQ. Toys and play therapy recently awakened me to my own child’s hidden emotional intelligence. Toys demand the expression of emotion during play, and provide a safe laboratory for kids to succeed, fail, learn and express and explore their emotions.

My eldest daughter is a college student majoring in Psychology. She called me in need of a guinea pig to practice intelligence-testing children with a group of peers. We allowed, “Baby Diablo” as my wife fondly refers to him, to participate with the warning that he has 30 minutes of goodness in him and past that, you are on your own. My daughter accepted the challenge.

When Diablo stopped running in circles, speaking Martian, and waiving his “Light Saber” around, an amazing transformation took place. They provided him with toy blocks, shapes, and toy figurines, and asked him to relate the differences. My heart sank momentarily, but in clear, concise English, all the correct answers came out! Finally, they gave him triangle shaped toy blocks, and asked him to identify the square. To everyone astonishment, he gingerly moved two triangles together to form a square and pushed it carefully over to his sister.

They asked him what cartoons he liked. He explained that he does not watch cartoons, and likes Star Wars. That was all it took; he had stopped speaking Martian and was now speaking college student. All the toys came out of every cupboard, and the students played Star Wars with my 4-year old son with glee. But like Cinderella’s magic coach, 30 minutes had passed. He placed a toy Viking hat on his head and grabbed a sword, symbolizing that his goodness had reached its limits and off he went.

When we arrived home, I was feeling pretty guilty about not seeing though his hyperactivity and being persistent in working with his Toys to help him refine those emotions into emotional intelligence, and build cognitive skills. I felt better when I saw by the look on my wife’s face that she was thinking the same thing. The very next day, she was sitting in the back seat of the car, with a Star Wars sticker book, helping him peel stickers and press them into shapes.

The moral is: Don’t misread hyperactive energy for intellectual indifference. Take out some toys and help them build those basic skills – you may be very surprised by what YOU learn about your child’s intelligence!

Get Pumped About Personal Training Certification

Considering a personal training certification program? If so, you’re on your way toward a rewarding career. “Receiving my BA and MS in exercise science, as well as my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association is without a doubt, the foundation of my career path and an immediate career in the fitness industry,” says Patrick M. Pilege, president of Optimum Fitness Inc., a booming Omaha, Nebraska corporate personal training company. “Having this education and certifications (NSCA is best in the field) assured me of having a successful career path in industry of personal training and wellness.”

Here are Coach Pilege’s top three to-knows about personal training certification:

1. Train your brain first.
“Multifaceted knowledge learned during the personal training certification process gave me a clear understanding of how the body functions and performs,” notes Pilege. “This gave me the ability and confidence to develop programs and train individuals with very diverse ages, backgrounds and experience levels; including athletes, corporate executives, older adults with special considerations, such as Alzheimer’s and muscular sclerosis, to post rehabilitative conditions such as hip replacements, spinal fusions and knee replacements.”

The consideration that goes into each personal training program is reflective of each population’s life experiences, he continues. “For example, many corporate executives not only need fitness programs that can rejuvenate their bodies but also provide stress relief from the pressures of corporate America. With an older adult, the focus is quite different in that we focus and tailor programs to give them back much of the independence of living they may have lost due to illnesses or injury.”

2. Pump up your networking and business skills.
“Another importance facet of my career path can be related to the networking and contacts I made while undergoing my schooling at Creighton University [Omaha, NE],” says Pilege. “Many of the contacts made have resulted in training clients, business contacts, mentors, and trusted sources of information spanning all areas of the personal training and fitness industry. I think it’s important for students to remember that each relationship made during their schooling may just be that one critical contact that opens a door to greater opportunity for them later in their career.”

3. Maintain a strict education regimen.
“When you are in the business of providing a service to the community it’s important to assure the potential clients that they are getting the best training available for their money,” notes Pilege. “Being able to show highly regarded credentials to the clients lets them know that you are qualified to meet their needs and therefore, every client I meet gets a copy of my resume showing my education and certifications.” Likewise, when Pilege hires trainers for Optimum Fitness, he requires a BA in exercise science or a related field and at least one NSCA or ACSM certification before he or she will even be considered for a position.

“I’ve found that people with a solid educational background and experience in the fitness field truly have a passion for training and that competitive fire transfers to each client.”

Feeling warmed up now that you know what it takes to be a certified personal trainer? That’s a good start, says Pilege, but the hard work has just begun. “I’m a firm believer that you can’t fake it in this field and be a motivator — being a certified personal trainer is definitely one career path that involves passion.”

Colloidal Silver As A Soap - Common Facts and Information

Silver is known for its metallic importance since ancient times. It is well known that silver is harmless to human body. Its usage ranges from silver vessels to teeth filling. Colloidal silver is another addition to its vast list of utilities. In layman terms, colloidal silver is very fine particles of pure silver, suspended in water. The particle size is in the order of nanometer. The total silver content is expressed as milligrams of silver per liter (mg/L) of water which is numerically the same as parts per million (ppm). Silver concentrations usually range from 20 ppm to 1500 ppm.

Colloidal silver has been particularly effective against skin disorders. Its anti-bacterial and anti-fungus action makes it perfectly suited for soap making. No wonder that colloidal silver is being used extensively as a soap ingredient by many soap manufacturers. Regular use of such soaps help in prevention of various skin diseases like acne, skin rash, athlete’s foot, eczema etc. The germ fighting capability of colloidal silver results in much more cleanliness. Various testimonials of people substantiates the fact that soaps with colloidal silver adds a healthy and neat appearance to the skin.

There are always some myths associated with good things. Colloidal silver is no exception to it. From time to time, certain section of society has raised doubts about the safety of its usage. It has been often reported that use of colloidal silver causes Argyria, an extremely rare condition causing a permanent discoloration of the skin. In fact, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has banned over the counter sales of colloidal silver products claiming therapeutic value, or their advertisement as providing health benefits. While there is some truth about the above, the fact is that Argyria is caused only by consuming excess quantity of colloidal silver. While it is not known how Argyria occurs, it is thought that silver combines with protein, forming complexes that deposit in the skin and are processed by sunlight (as in traditional photography). The real issue concerning Argyria is how silver, in ionic or particulate form, is handled by the body. The greatest determining factor in the cause of Argyria is the concentration of silver and the actual amount of silver intake. There is no definitive data that suggests one type of silver, based on the anion, protein, or salt associated (or lack thereof), is less of a risk than any other. We only know that silver particles with silver salts (even colloidal silver made with salt added), proteins, and other ionic compounds have caused Argyria. The common factor was a daily intake that exceeded the EPA’s recommended safety levels. Therefore, it is always advisable to moderate the consumption of colloidal silver.

There has always been a concern about the adequacy of concentration in parts per million (PPM) of colloidal silver. There are many technical considerations to address in making this determination. Generally speaking, a 15 - 25 PPM high quality colloidal silver product is a sufficient concentration for effectiveness in the body. For topical use, such as ingredient of soap, greater concentrations may be desirable to increase the amount of actual silver exposed to the skin. However, with most available production methods, a higher concentration yields a lower quality end product. The result is an unstable solution with large particles. Various data shows that colloidal silver with 20 PPM is optimal for its usage in soap making.

Another myth about colloidal silver has been that it has no positive effect on skin. This is totally false. In fact, colloidal silver has been accepted as the best product as far as skin friendliness is concerned. This has been substantiated from time to time by various researches. Dr. Robert O. Becker, MD, noted biomedical researcher from Syracuse University, concluded after extensive research in this area that “all of the organisms that we tested were sensitive to the electrically generated silver ion, including some that were resistant to all known antibiotics. Colloidal silver stimulates bone-forming cells, cures the most common stubborn infections of all kinds of bacteria, and stimulates healing in the skin and other soft tissues.” Later, colloidal silver was termed as the powerful germ fighter with no side effects, which again is a bone of contention among the pro and cons of colloidal silver.

While traditional antibiotics do result in side effects as it kills the harmful as well as beneficial bacteria in the body, the same is not the case with colloidal silver. Unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics, which destroy beneficial enzymes, colloidal silver leaves these tissue-cell enzymes intact, as they are radically different from the enzymes of primitive single-celled life. Also, colloidal silver doesn’t kill bacteria or a virus. When a particle of silver comes into contact with these living beings it inhibits their ability to reproduce. It does so by disabling the oxygen metabolism enzyme found in single celled organisms such as bacteria and fungi, as well as the enzyme found in most viruses. The disease causing organisms either starve or suffocate, for many others their internal protoplast collapse if their bodily charge is opposite to the silver particles, and still others are unable to reproduce themselves. This inhibits the growth of disease.

Contrary to the popular belief that colloidal silver is not effective in the cases where antibiotics has failed, it is the other way round. Over the past several years the medical establishment via the news media, has released a barrage of reports on the new strains of ‘Super Bugs’ that can not be destroyed by antibiotics. Many of these organisms have built a resistance to these drugs, which is not the case with colloidal silver.

It may be concluded therefore that usage of colloidal silver is totally safe for human beings if taken in moderate quantity.

Opening A Dollar Store - Become A Distributor Too!

If you are opening a dollar store there need to be business plans for the future. Those plans need to include plans for sales growth of the store. Plans to grow the business through opening new stores or through diversification of the business also need to be considered. If growth through diversification is being considered, examine becoming a wholesale distributor.

Becoming a wholesale distributor offers many advantages to an existing retail business. Many of these advantages are achieved by adding extra quantities to purchases that are made with your existing suppliers.

Larger purchases will often mean lower prices per item. Many of the wholesalers you buy from offer price breaks as the quantity of an item purchased increases. Those lower prices equate to a lower cost of goods sold for your retail store. If you are opening a dollar store you know that the cost of goods sold is generally the largest single cost for a dollar store.

Larger purchases will often mean more products being shipped at the same time. Generally larger shipments come with lower per item freight costs. Since freight costs are part of the cost of goods sold, that once again equates to a cost of goods sold price decrease for your retail store. When opening a dollar store all of the cost of goods sold savings can mean the difference between profit and loss for your store.

Becoming a wholesale distributor as a means of growing your business creates goodwill and word-of-mouth advertising for you and your business. As the word gets out that you are willing to sell at wholesale to other dollar and discount stores, they will shop with you to see what you have available. If the prices are right, they will buy from you. Soon they will be telling others about the deals they got from you.

Are you opening a dollar store? If so take the time to determine how you want to grow your business sales in the future. Consider wholesale distribution as one means of achieving that growth. Those extra sales can positively affect the bottom line for your business.
