List Building - List Based Web Business Model

The list based web business model basically is a web business that is driven by the list element. This is in contrast to any model that is web site or web page driven and utilizes a list in that when it is list based, access to the web site or web pages is basically denied unless the visitor opts in to the list.

The business model basically operates like this: on the index or main page to the site, there is a squeeze page rather than a sales page or a traditional entry page.

This squeeze page basically requires any visitor to opt in to the list before they are permitted to visit any of the pages in the site, including all sales pages.

If you have never used this model, it is natural to assume or to wonder how this model can actually increase sales, as you are basically barring access to anyone who is not willing to part with their name and email address in exchange for a gift of some kind and access to your website.

One thing to understand is that those visitors who are denied access to your web site due to their reluctance to give you their name and email address are basically the same individuals who will click out of your web site or sales page without making a purchase. You see, if someone does not trust you enough to give you their name and email address, they generally will not trust you enough to give you their home address and credit card number either. So generally anyone who might have bought from you if they were to have gone directly to your website given the chance, are the same individuals who would give you their name and email address, then go to your web site and make a purchase. So by using a squeeze-page only access to your web site, you are really screening out the people who do not trust you, who do not trust online, and the bulk of people who complain and ask for refunds.

How to Use a Dog Collar Light

A dog is known as “man’s best friend” for a good reason. These animals are loving, faithful and will love you selflessly for their whole life. For those of us who are lucky enough to have a dog smiling at you when you walk in the door when you get home. These animals are so happy to see you no matter what. But the thing about a dog is they are a great responsibility even if the dog does not demand it of you. There are a couple of things that a dog will need of its owner and they are that they need to be taken out for exercise and for walks as well as making sure that they receive a proper diet and nutrition.

Most people who own a dog will have a yard for them to run around in or a large space so they can get some fresh air. Sometimes we try to get two jobs done at the same time by taking our dogs with us when we go to town, that way we are running our errands as well as waking the dog. Sometimes a dog or puppy can get lost because they are friendly or the owner was negligent and the dog wandered away in just a matter of minutes.

Dog Collar Light Use

Most of the time a dog collar light are used by professional dogs that are used for rescue in water, snow or in the woods. Hunting dogs use dog collar lights so that they can be seen at night when hunting. This way you are able to see the dog at all times. A lot of dog owners today will use a dog collar light even if they are not being used for professional purposes, this way if the dog is alone in the yard at night by itself it can be seen.When a dog has a dog collar light on he or she can be seen in the dark at all times and can be spotted a half a mile away and even more on clear nights. All of the dog collar lights are battery powered and you will get to chose the color of the light.

Dog Collar Light Facts

Most of the dog collar lights come with a reflective material collar so it shines and reflects all the time once the dog collar light is turned on. Search Engine Marketing - How to Get 300% More Search Engine Traffic with Keyword Combinations

There are many parts of a coherent search engine optimization strategy that are quite often ignored by people and these types of strategies are ultimately what allow you to get your initial foothold in the often confusing and always competitive world of attracting traffic from the search engines.

Five years ago when search engine optimization was relatively new the idea was that people could easily accomplish it because so few people were utilizing those strategies for success. In the present day the market for search engine optimization for practically any website is completely super-saturated at the top levels of competition and in order to make your initial foothold you need to come up with creative ways to account for this fact. One of those ways is through keyword combinations.

Whenever a person does search engine optimization they need to come up with a middle ground between the extremes of targeting the highest keywords and having the most chance of ranking high on the search engine results.

One can target the highest keywords and end up out of the top twenty or one can easily target the lowest keywords and be number one for a keyword that nobody searches! A middle ground is required and keyword combinations will often serve to get you this middle ground.

Choosing the right combination of keywords is critical towards your goal of finding that often
elusive middle ground.

You will want your primary keyword to be one of the middle ground keywords that receive a decent amount of traffic and don’t have a lot of competition and then additionally you will want your two other keywords to be ones that compliment that primary keyword. This will allow you to get your foot in the door a lot quicker than if you were to try and tangle with the big boys.

List Building With Search Engine Traffic III

Your keyword tag should also contain your keyword phrase, and perhaps one or two more relevant keywords or keyword phrases. I do not like to stuff my keyword tag with a lot of keywords, as I believe that ‘waters down’ the effect of my primary keywords.

Now, the source code for your web page should also contain a description. This description should contain your keyword phrase at least once, not more than twice, and should make sense.

For example, a good description might be: Puppy dog training tips for effective training of puppies and puppy dogs.

A bad description would be: A web site dedicated to the propagation of puppy dog training. Notice that the keyword phrase is used late, and the description is bogged down with non-essential words.

Another bad thing is to use what we call ‘keyword stuffing’. Keyword stuffing is where you try to cram or ’stuff’ as many keywords as possible into a particular field. This field does not necessarily have to be the description field, but rather can be any number of other fields. Anyhow, it should not be done under any circumstances.

Here is an example of keyword stuffing: A puppy dog training site for puppy dog training for puppy dog trainers and puppy dog training people.

Your keyword or keyword phrase should also be used in your content itself, early in the content, in the midst of the content, and near the end of the content.

I like to begin the first sentence of the content of my web site with the keyword phrase, and use the keyword phrase as often as seems natural when reading the content. I hesitate to give you a keyword density figure, as the optimum number is not known, and tends to change. In fact, the way search engines rank web sites according to on-page optimization is constantly changing. One of the best ways to make sure your content stands the test of time is to write naturally, and in the long - run, your web content should maintain higher rankings and not be de-listed or banned on the web.

I also like to use the keyword phrase late in the content, possibly even at the very end of the web page, if possible.

The other two areas where you should use your keyword phrase is in some heading tags, a bold tag, and an italics tag.

This is about it for on-page search engine optimization. You may have found this to be somewhat simpler in nature than many people will tell you about search engine optimization. The reality is, on-page search engine optimization is a lot less important than on-page, and your time is much better spent on off-page optimization.

The Age Of Cosmetic Surgery – Important Question And Answers

Cosmetic surgery has become one of the most popular means by which to improve one’s appearance and get rid of unwanted characteristics. Whether you are having a nose job or a tummy tuck, there is a procedure that can help. As with any other type of surgery, however, there are risks that you should be aware of before you decide to go under the knife.

Before you will be able to have a
cosmetic procedure, you will need to know if you are even a good candidate. While this is not always a crucial detail, it can matter. While it is certainly possible to have such procedures done no matter what age you are, good health and realistic expectations are necessary. Keep in mind that improve, not perfection, is the goal of any cosmetic procedure.

Sometimes the question arises concerning age. While, as stated above, cosmetic surgery can be performed at any age, there are situations where a specific age is preferable. For example, someone under the age of 18 would not be able to obtain a nose job without a parent’s consent.

Another common question is whether or not more than one procedure can be performed at once. The answer is generally yes, but this needs to be discussed in thorough detail with the surgeon. The answer will most likely depend on what types of procedures you wish to have performed, and what parts of your body they will affect. The surgeon may decide to split certain procedures into sections. For example, facial surgeries may be performed at the same time, while surgery on another part of the body may be performed at a later date.

Another main concern is the scarring that will occur after surgery. It is not possible to eliminate them from happening, but it is possible to properly care for them so they will become more difficult to see over time. Surgeons, however, are trained to help hide most, a procedure that is most often successful. It really depends on the type and extent of the surgery. In any case, be sure to take the advice of your surgeon and properly care for yourself after the surgery. This is crucial to the healing process, and to the overall success of the surgery. It can also keep you from needing additional surgeries. Before making the decision to have cosmetic surgery, talk to your surgeon and know what you should expect. Understand the proposed outcome.

Banner Stands - Telescopic, Roller, Cassette and Outdoor Banner Stands

Banner Stands

Banner stands are ideal for in-store promotions, reception areas, directional signage at conference and exhibition venues or to compliment larger display stands. These banner stands are sturdy, quick to set up and have easily replaceable graphics.

All banner stands roll up into a lightweight tube or carry bag and come complete with custom printed graphics. Click here to see the complete range of banner stands.

What?

Banner stands are a lightweight, highly portable, metal tube or case which contain a printed banner graphic or screen that can be extracted from the case via a spring loaded, retracting mechanism - this allows the graphic to be expanded or unfurled and fixed into position via a pole connected to the case and a rail at the top of the banner graphic.

This pole can be either a fixed height pole made up 3 pieces connected together by an elasticated cord to allow them to fold away, or a telescopic pole that can be adjusted and locked into place at the required height.

The case containing the graphic is usually broad enough to provide a stable base or has a fold out foot to provide the extra stability required. All banner stand kits come complete with a carry bag fitted with a shoulder strap and carry handle.

The most popular size of banner stand kits is approximately 800mm wide x 2.1mtr high. Banner kits can be waterproof, ANY shape or feature and easily replaceable graphic, double sided, wind proof, made from almost any printable material and can even be in constant motion using a revolving banner motor

Why?

The various types of banner stand kits available in the UK market are priced from just £120.00 - £400.00 and allow an inexpensive graphics display to be set up quickly and easily by untrained marketers at any event indoor or outdoors and at virtually any size. The portability allows a display at an event to be planned last minute or a presentation arranged at the drop of a hat, even 2 events in a day.

These kits provide a half way house between a panel display kit with provides a solid base onto which graphics can be attached but is heavy and cumbersome to transport and the pop up expanding frame which provide a large dramatic full colour graphic back drop for medium to larger shows. Again these kits can be heavy to transport and are comparatively expensive.

Where?

As these kits are highly portable & extremely quick to erect and even quicker to pack up, there is no easier, more portable way to advertise your presence or product at either presentation, trade exhibitions, business meetings or anywhere that requires a fixed point of display.

Weather proof banner stands are used at a wide range of outdoor events such as sports events, markets, outdoor shows, meetings, demonstrations and political gatherings. Some adjustable banner stands can be made to any specification to been seen from virtually any distance and in any environment. Banner stands are commonly seen in many public places such shopping centres and service stations, as well as being the display kit of choice for the professional trade exhibitor and marketer.

Who?

Do you need to advertise your latest product or service at your industry trade show? Then banner stands provide the most professional solution at the keenest price.

Banner stands are used by insurance, finance companies and motoring organisations to provide a portable back drop for their mobile roadshow displays at service stations and public events. They’re used by the retail sector to highlight an in store special offer or outdoor to advertise their presence or sale.

These kits are used by corporate marketing professionals to raise their profile at trade events and at smaller more intimate presentations to reinforce a sales message or policy, by charitable organisations as diverse as NSPCC, Sport England or the World Wildlife Fund to promote their fund raising activities and raise their profile, and of course by Government and National institutions to impart changes in legislation, laws and policy to the public.

How?

To organise the production of banner stand kit is very easy indeed, all you need do is decide where you’re likely to be using a banner kit and why, this will give you an idea of the size and type of stand required.

Then decide what message or information you’re planning to display. Redcliffe can produce a banner directly from artwork supplied or we can create the design or layout for you from either a detailed brief or using your own logo, text, pictures and background.

Banner kits can be produced to be specifically lightweight and& portable for easy use, or as adjustable as possible to cater for changing requirements or as replaceable as possible to take account of changing graphic messages. Many of our clients buy stands that not only feature great looking graphics but that feature a case or hardware that’s finished to a highly polished hi-tech shine so that they fit in with their surroundings.

When?

The most popular banner stand kits are usually available “off the shelf” so production of a few banner kits usually takes no more than 4-5 working days, however, at particularly busy times of the year - Spring & Autumn, these production time are often stretched up to 10 or even 12 working days.

The larger quantity or more unusual types of banner stand kits can take a while longer to produce. Design and creation of layout for banner stands can also be a time consuming process especially where a previously used colour need to be matched or imagery needs to be sourced.

Distressed Properties Shouldn’t Distress You

For many real estate investors, the best investment they will ever make is in distressed property. You know the ones. They look tired. They are ill kept. They feel worn. Not the investors, the properties.

The best reason for considering distressed properties are that they need change, and making a needed change is very positive for the buyer. The reason a property is distressed is because of bad management, poor maintenance, low quality occupants, dated components, etc. In each of those cases, a little change can make a big difference.

After the purchase, elbow grease is often the biggest investment that needs to be made. With a few hours work in a yard, the curb appeal can be improved dramatically. With a couple days work and a bit of paint, a tired look can be updated and improved. With a logical plan, management can get rents collected, remove problem occupants and increase revenues dramatically. With a wise capital improvement plan, increased rents can be used to reduce operating expenses and pump up the NOI.

In all cases, if you can reverse the distressed trend of a property, you can improve revenues, reduce expenses, increase value, build equity and create wealth for yourself. Unfortunately for many investors, they cannot look past the flaking paint and the cracked windows to recognize the gold covered opportunity within. Don’t be one of the many would-be investors who look back and say “I shoulda bought that when I had the change.” Do your homework, perform the due diligence and the profit potential will be obvious and the ultimate wealth development will be yours. Get the education you need, the help to make it happen and the opportunities will drop one at a time like yellow metal ducks in a carnival shooting gallery. Good Luck.

List Building With Search Engine Traffic II

On-page search engine optimization is basically the process of doing specific things to your web site itself to let the search engines know what your web site is about.

On-page optimization itself is not critically important to the ranking process itself, although without on-page optimization a search engine would have a difficult time knowing that your site existed or what it was about, so is therefore critical to your rankings.

So what are the primary means of on-page search engine optimization?

There are a number of different areas where you want your keywords to appear, namely in your title, description, keywords, content, heading, and other source code tags.

Now I will go through each of these elements, one by one:

Your keyword or keyword phrase should appear in your title. This keyword or keyword phrase should also be placed early in your title, and should not be accompanied with a lot of other words. If the keyword can be used twice, that is good as well, but you do not want to repeat it more than twice or in a non-sensible way.

The reason you want to try to limit the number of additional words you use is that the title may be ranked by its percentage of keyword use, so any additional words dilute the impact of the keyword.

So as an example, take the keyword phrase ‘puppy dog training’

An example of a good title would be “Puppy Dog Training - How to Train Your Puppy Dog”

A bad example might be ‘How to Train Your Puppy Dog Most Effectively”

Notice how in the latter example, there are a number of useless words (for the search engines, anyhow) and the keyword come later in the title. Also, the keyword phrase itself is not even used - just the keywords that make up the keyword phrase.

10 Tips To Reduce The Power Consumption Of The Refrigerator

1.) Buy the refrigerator with an appropriate climatic class;

2.) When installing it, choose a cool place. The fridge should not be placed too close to any heat source (fireplace, stove, oven, radiator, direct sunlight);

3.) The back of the refrigerator must be at least 80 mm far from the wall to allow the hot air ventilation;

4.) If the refrigerator is built-in or undercounter, there must be also enough space above it so that the air ventilation is not restricted;

5.) Know what you have in your refrigerator. First think than take what you need. Do not open the door too often and do not leave it open too long;

6.) All the newer fridges have adjustable “legs” in their front part, right under the door. After installing the fridge (and loading it up to the standard level) play little with these legs and try to adjust them so that the door will close automatically from any position when they´re open. Even if the fridge door closes automatically, always check if it´s really closed. 75% of all power over-consumption is caused by insufficient refrigerator door sealing;

7.) If it isn´t a “frost free” model, the refrigerator must be defrost manually if the frost thickness exceeds 5mm;

8.) Use an inner thermometer (lot of newer refrigerators have a built-in thermometer), the inner temperature should not be lower than 3 and not exceed 10 Celsius degrees;

9.) Never put a hot dishes in the refrigerator. The elementary school physics taught us that the hot (dish) and cold (air inside the fridge) objects in a closed environment (the refrigerator) will exchange their temperatures with each other unless they reach a thermal balance. That means that not only refrigerator will cool the hot dishes but also the dishes will warm the refrigerator inner space. Therefore the things you put in the refrigerator should be as cold as possible. Simply, give the dish a time to cool down to the room´s temperature and only then put it in the refrigerator;

10.) Empty, unplug and clean the fridge each time you spend more than 1-2 weeks out of your home (e.g. on vacation). Just emptying the refrigerator leaving it plugged (for the purpose of cooling the air in it) really is not very effective.

List Building With Search Engine Traffic I

Search engine traffic of course is web site traffic that comes to you via the search engines, when someone searches for a keyword for which your web site is optimized, and comes across your web site.

In most cases, to be highly ranked for a given keyword, you must do some on-page and off-page optimization.

To give you some background on search engine optimization, there are a few things that determine where your web site will rank in the search engine results when someone searches for a keyword for which your web site is optimized.

The search engines rank each web site according to a number of things, including content on the web site, on-page optimization of the web site, and a factor they call link popularity. Basically link popularity is a way of ranking how ‘popular’ your site is for your keyword. The search engines want to provide relevant content to their web searchers, and one of the things they use to proxy for relevance is popularity. They assume that if your web site is more popular, then perhaps it is also more relevant.

So how do they determine popularity? One of the things they use to proxy for popularity is the number and quality of inbound links you have to your web site. They make the assumption that if you have more and better inbound links (links coming to you from other web sites) then you must also be more popular.

I am going to start by talking a little about on-page search engine optimization.
