List Building Web Model - Selecting a Business Model

The next obvious question for you might be, what is the best business model for you?

Because I believe that the list building model is the most lucrative, I am simply going to recommend that regardless of your product or products, you should be using the list building model for your entry point.

After that, unless you already have a catalogue based model set up, or have a specific desire to sell a selection of products that are best geared towards a catalogue setting, I believe that you should set up your entire line of products as a sales funnel.

Use a free product as your squeeze page entry, and then a low priced product as the entry point into the sales funnel itself. If you already have a selection of low priced products, consider promoting a rotating selection of the low priced products. Once your subscriber has purchased one of the lower priced products, opt him out of the low priced email list, and only send him higher priced products.

If you do not have a higher priced product, you need to create one. Once someone has made a single purchase with you, they have much more value to you as a customer purchasing higher priced products than they do purchasing additional lower priced products.

By the way: You Must Be CAN-SPAM Compliant

Because this is such a serious matter, and courts are repeatedly fining internet marketers for sending out unsolicited commercial email, I feel it is imperative to mention this again, before I begin to actually teach you how to create your list building campaign.

Sending unsolicited bulk, commercial, or otherwise unwanted email is a crime in the United States and I would imagine in many other countries. Exorbitant fines and jail time may be associated with this crime. Because I am not an expert on the legalities of email, I highly recommend that you fully understand the laws that pertain to your jurisdiction before you begin building your list. The following link should help you understand the CAN-SPAM law: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/canspam.htm

Remember, ignorance is not an excuse. Learn the law and abide by it.

Central Vacuum Cleaners Advantages

The central vacuum cleaners have several indisputable advantages compared to any other vacuums.

The central vac and the indoor air quality
The whole central vacuum is a closed system. It contains of a tubing installed in the walls, an engine unit and collection canister in the garage or basement and of a flexible hose that can be plugged to the tubing wall inlet in every room of your house or flat.

The exhaust filter of the central vacuums is placed in the exterior thus they really improve the indoor air quality.

The cleaning of the household is easy and you will get rid of all microscopic particles that any other vacuum cleaners - regardless of how effective Gore-Tex HEPA filter they´d have - would be unable to capture.

Central vacuum cleaners loudness
As the engine unit is in the garage/basement, the central vac is the most quiet vacuum system ever (if you are not living in that garage, of course) so you can clean even at night without disturbing the other family members.

Working with the central vac
Working with the lightweight hose of the central vacuum cleaner is super easy and even smaller children can vacuum clean with no problems. Practically all the work starts and ends with plugging/unplugging the hose to/from the wall inlet. No pushing or pulling of the heavy container over the door sills and also the cleaning of the critical spaces such as stairs or ceilings has never been easier.

Central vacuum cleaners provide the same functions as any other vacuum systems. They do dry cleaning. They do wet cleaning. They shampoo or even separate the ashes from the fireplace.

The bag disposal is quite simple task very same as with the standard paper bag, container vacuum cleaner, only the bags are much bigger usually.

The Sales Funnel - List Building Model (My Favorite) II

The other mechanism by which this method works is that often when a subscriber reads a sales page for a much more expensive product, they see the lower priced product as a higher value, as function of the comparison of prices.

However, once someone has purchased a higher priced product, I will generally attempt to not present products that are of a lower price than the one which they have purchased. Because they have made a more expensive purchase, for example $100 +, I make the assumption that because they are comfortable making purchases of at least that price, and will therefore attempt to maximize the possible value from that subscriber.

So how do you structure your email campaigns so that the subscriber is progressively being given higher priced promotions without receiving lower priced promotions?

Probably the easiest way to do this is to set up your autoresponder in such a way that when someone opts into the autoresponder associated with the higher priced product, they are automatically opted out of the lower priced autoresponder, and will therefore stop receiving emails promoting the lower priced products.

To make this easiest, I use my autoresponder for the automatic delivery of all the products that someone purchases. In this way, in order for them to accept delivery of the product they have purchased, they are opted in to the new list, and my autoresponder service automatically opts them out of the list to which they currently belong.

Information Sells - How to Use Content to Sell More Products

Unlike offline, when you run a business on the web, words often speak louder than actions. What your potential customers read is what will ultimately determine if those people make the decision to buy from you.

When you hear the phrase, “content is king,” don’t make the mistake of creating content for content’s sake. Content is great and the extra traffic it can bring is a bonus. You just need to make sure you’re making the most of it. Here’s some tips for making the most of your content.

Show them what to do and what tools they need to get the job done.

Readers love “How to” articles and you can create some great content around showing people how to do certain things. As you create these types of articles, give enough detail so they know what they should do and also recommend the tools that will help them get the job done.

Add your product promotions wisely

Don’t end your article with “Buy Here” or “Visit xyz.com” People have a tendency to scan an article before reading and if they see wording that looks like you are selling something right off the bat, they either ignore it or will immediately move on. So, don’t give them instructions to buy, instead use phrases like “Further Recommended Reading”, “Further Recommended Study” or “Learn More”.

We find keeping it highly informative sounding inspires plenty of click-throughs and sales. If you sound like a used car salesman, they may not believe a word you say. Inspire confidence in your knowledge and your recommendations

Include links to your products within your articles.

Some article directories don’t allow promotions within an article, but subtle promotions in the middle of an article are often the most powerful, so make sure to sell in the articles you publish on your site and when submitting to other publishers that do allow links in the body of your article.

Provide incentive to other to publish your articles.

If you’re distributing your articles for publication, ALWAYS allow people to substitute your links with their affiliate links in your article. It’s an extra incentive for them to publish your article over someone else’s.

Whatever you do, ensure every piece of content you create and publish serves a purpose. Whether it’s to get people to sign up for a mailing list, recommend a product through an affiliate link or sell more of your own product – don’t be shy about letting your content do that for you.

Portable Air Conditioners Work Well to Cool Rooms

If you live in an apartment or work in an office situation, then you know how unpleasant it can be in the summer when everything gets so hot and sticky. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some cooling air conditioning that you could bring with you and put it where it is most needed? Well, now you can with a portable air conditioner. Portable air conditioners work well to cool rooms, and the best part is you can take them with you when you move or change offices.

You can obtain a portable air conditioner to fit the area you wish to cool. It can be as small as 200 square feet or as large as 500 square feet. Many of these portable air conditioners are multi-functional units, and some offer heat as well. You can find a unit to meet your specific needs, in the size you need as well.

Breathing fresh air is always an issue, especially in a home or office situation where germs are present. Several different types of portable air conditioners offer ionizers and UV lights that are used to kill bacteria on contact. They also work to improve air circulation in rooms that are poorly ventilated, and they do so in such a way as to maximize energy savings.

Permanently installed air conditioners can have the problem of running too hot, and breaking down as a result. This is certainly possible during long periods of hot weather when the system is continuously in use. With a portable air conditioner, on the other hand, you will not have this problem. These units are designed to take moisture from the air into the unit where it is used to cool the cooling coils, thereby recycling the water and making the entire air conditioner run at maximum performance levels.

The rooms that you choose to cool (or heat, for that matter) with these magnificent portable air conditioners can be indoor rooms, such as those found in your home, office or an apartment. They are also very effective when used in covered outdoor rooms as well. Consider all the smoldering and sweaty days you spent working on a project in your garage in the heat of summer. Now picture yourself working away in utter comfort, because you are using your portable air conditioner to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Another great application for portable air conditioners is in your summer cabin. A spot used infrequently, but when you are ready to enjoy it you want it comfortable. A portable air conditioner can make all the difference in a pleasant vacation and an overheated miserable one. See for yourself why portable air conditioners are a take-away solution for temperature comfort.

The Sales Funnel - List Building Model (My Favorite) I

Although I have discussed both the sales funnel and the list building model, I want to reiterate what a powerful combination this is.

As an example of a sales funnel that begins with the entry into the list via a squeeze page, this is what my sales funnel resembles:

1) A free gift

2) An immediate redirect to my highest – converting low ticket item (~ $10)

3) Once they have purchased the low ticket item, they are quickly (generally within one day) presented a sales page for a $47 product.

4) Once they have purchased the $47 product, they are presented with an offer for a $97 product.

5) Continuing in this fashion, I would progressively introduce a $497 product and a ~$5000 product.

One thing to note is that if someone is on one of the lower priced items list and has not yet purchased the expected upgrade, I will occasionally offer them one or several of the higher-priced items. Sometimes they will purchase the higher priced item, skipping one of the earlier steps, or the higher priced promotion can give an illusion of higher value to the lower priced product when it is reintroduced to the subscriber.

There are several reasons why this strategy can be effective.

Some people are not inclined to see value in a product that is priced too low for their buying patterns. They simply assume that a lower priced product has less value and will be more likely to purchase a higher priced product than an entry – level lower priced product.

Four Things You’re Doing To Stay Fat

The fitness industry is flood with information these days; it’s a good problem to have since knowledge is power. The downside to all of this readily available information is that we suffer from an information overload. It is so easy to get information that we add every new method we read about into our daily training. The one resounding question I hear is “Why am I not getting the gains I want”? This is actually very easy to answer; most people aren’t as advanced as they think they are. There’s a reason people aren’t getting the gains that they want, here they are.

1) Lack of Program Design
Can you really say that you’re following a properly planned program? What I mean is, do you perform full body session for 2 weeks then decide you want to really improve that deadlift so you go and train like a powerlifter? Do you know where you plan to be with your training in 12 weeks? 16 weeks? Don’t follow programs out of the magazines, set goals then follow them

2) Too Much Aerobic Training
Are you still doing your steady state or long duration cardio? If you answered yes I bet you will also answer yes to the following questions. “Are you struggling to lose fat despite your efforts”? “Do you notice rapid muscle loss”? Long duration aerobic activity has directly been linked to higher cortisol levels, which lead to fat gain and muscle loss. Cut it out.

3) No Prehab Work
You have a nagging injury, a pain that keeps limiting your training. It’s pretty common that people don’t perform prehab work and just assume it’ll go away. Performing prehab work at the beginning or end of each session will add structural balance to our body and allow us. This will ensure long-term progress and growth and just make you feel better. Take the Chicken Little “The sky is falling” approach and do your prehab after every session.

4) You’re still performing body part training
It still confuses me why everyone and their mother (literally) are copying bodybuilder body part training. I know, they do it to get big muscles so I should do it too. Well can you rest and use the drugs they use? How often are you hitting each muscle per seven-day cycle? Frequency is the real deal people and the key for growth; it’s here to stay.

5) You’re doing the same all routines
Do what you’ve always done, get what you’ve always gotten” It’s the quote in front of Ronnie Coleman’s treadmill and it needs to be in every gym in the country. It could be cardio, weights, pilates, stretching, yoga, spinning, whatever you want to do but if you continue to do the same thing you’re going to screw yourself. Even if your consistently switching exercises, sets, reps, intensity you need to be even more creative. Everything should be in your toolbox, kettlebells, powerlifting, olmypic lifting, bodybuilding methods; it’s your entire playground.

Small Bead, Big Power

Imagine that almost two-thirds of the world’s population use these small ambassadors of culture as part of their religious practices.

Every culture, and every religion, believe that beads used for their particular form of meditation and prayer is uniquely their own. And, in many ways, they are quite right.

It may well be that the first to use beads of any kind for reciting prayers and counting incantations were the Hindus of India – or perhaps more specifically Buddhists, a sect which developed from Hinduism sometime around the 8th century B.C.E.

Buddhists called their prayer beads “Mala”. Malas were made up of strands of 108 beads – these were used by Monks, everyone else’s prayer beads had strands of 30 to 40 beads only. The beads represent impurities which must overcome in order to reach the state of Nirvana. The beads themselves have a highly spiritual significance, as they were traditionally made from the seeds of the sacred Bodhi tree under which Budha is believed to have found enlightenment. The roughness of the beads is also important as it expresses the difficult road to Nirvana. The beads are not mobile as with later prayer beads, as they are knotted onto the base thread or rope.

Christians have their “rosaries”. The word rosary comes from the Latin rosarium which means rose garden. In Catholicism, a rose represent perfection, thus the rosary expresses the idea of a permanent garden of prayer – how fragrant a prayer! Usually rosaries contain 59 beads, 6 large and 53 small. They are arranged into five decades of ten small beads and one large bead each plus a pendant of one large and three small beads that terminates in a cross. The beads are usually threaded on to wire pins, which are linked together to form the complete rosary.

Muslims have a “subha” which means to exalt. Each subha usually has 99 beads, or fewer beads whose multiples are 99. The beads are used to recite the 99 names/attributes of God, or they are used to recite verses from the Qu’ran and prayers. The beads themselves can be made of many materials, from silver to semiprecious stones, glass even plastic, although the truly pious may have specific preferences. The prayer beads end with an elongated bead and a tassel of colorful threads or silver, and the beads usually move freely over the base thread.

Even ropes with knots were used to aid prayer, as well as simply using the fingers of one’s own hand. But, whether beads were made of seeds, wood, animal teeth, bone and ivory, perfumed wood such as sandal wood, olive-tree wood, or formed from rose petal pulp and spices, (I have even seen prayer beads made up human sculls of obviously deceased Buddhist practitioners), running the beads through your fingers, the sensation and feels of the beads, seems to have a great soothing feeling.

In the end, and each in their own way, everyone seems to come to the same conclusion: Aren’t beads just great?!

My specialty is chokers. My concept: painting with beads. With semiprecious stones, Venetian style, lamp, & faceted crystals/beads, I create limited edition pieces. After spending much time studying beads & bead history, I discovered that glass beads have an auspicious background just like diamonds, pearls, & semiprecious stones. Inspired by this & by many pleasures in life, I design individual chokers that each have a name, a character, a story.

Asthma, Allergy And Vacuum Cleaning

Now, at the beginning of 21st century every 4th person in Europe is allergic and every 6th suffers from some form of asthma.

Allergies (allergic rhinitis, bronchitis, eczema, conjuctivitis) usually have one common trigger which is the contact of the person with the allergens (dust mite excrements, pollen, mildew).

Who (what) is to blame?

Sure, the general pollution of the environment is the first and major reason (allergies are considered the civilization deseases and the pollution comes hand in hand with the civilization development) but we can also blame our life-style.

Nowadys, people spend 80% and more of their time inside (their flat, office, restaurant, tube). For our body the (in terms of allergies) most dangerous are the smallest particles (viruses, scigarettes smoke, mite droppings) which circulate in the air and are inhaled (and in such closed spaces like flat/office/tube you exhale them and other people inhale them and vice versa).
And also the average temperature in our buildings increased over the last 30 years by 4-5 Celsius degrees offering great living conditions for mites or bacteria.

Wet or dry vacuum cleaning?

In the 1990s, the wet vacuum cleaner producers came with the idea to win the battle with the dry vacuum cleaner producers persuading people that the dry vacuums are unable to catch as much microscopic particles causing allergies as the wet vac cleaners.
It seemed logical for people. The wet vacuum cleaner sucks in the dust and the water catches and separates it. But the experimets have shown that the „truth is out there“ and what works for larger particles doesn´t work for the smallest ones. Simply, the allergens were circulating in the air in the same amounts no matter if it was before or after the wet vacuuming.

So tell me – wet or dry?!

I – really – am not depreciating the abilities of the wet vacuum cleaner, I only state that water filter is not sufficient if it is the only filter your vacuum cleaner has. If you have a wet vacuum with the additional filters like HEPA, they probably do a great job and you do not have to change them for anything else.

I am allergic, so what vacuum cleaner should I buy?

In my opinion, the one that has Gore-Tex or multi-layer HEPA filter – no matter if dry or wet.
They both (Gore-Tex and multiple HEPAs) are able to catch 99,99% of the loose dust particles and allergens.

To keep your flat clean it is necessary to vaccum it 3-4 times weekly (or 30-40 times if you have small children, let´s say 2-5 years old – I am joking, of course), not only the carpets and floors but also the beds, linen and furniture.
It is also recommended to get rid of heavy, old curtains, drapery as well as grand-ma´s teddy bears or other plush toys.
The buildings should not be over-heated and over-humidified

Standard flat inner temperature should not exceed 21 Celsius degrees during the days and 19 Celsiuses is enough for nights.

The average humidity should not exceed 50% and it is recommended to ventilate the room at least 2 times daily, in the morning and in the evening (take another sweater or glass of whisky – or both – and open all windows fully for at least 15 minutes).

If you have an allergic person in your household you should seriously consider the chance of buying an air purifier (not the humidifier, it only humidifies the air without cleaning it).
With their performance and low noisiness they are much more effective than the wet vacuum cleaners.
