Anxiety attacks aren’t always composed of sudden, debilitating bouts of depression, melancholia, and worry like some people would have us think. Instead of being a hammer blow of fear and stress, the most telling forms of anxiety are more like sand caught between the gears of a machine, that wear away at it gradually until it stalls or falls apart.

To that end, dealing with anxiety is best done BEFORE the breakdown. For people who are already in the heavier stages of anxiety, it’s best to seek professional counseling. However, for most of us, it’s not too late to do something personally to relieve our stressors before they get more serious. Here are ten tips to take that can help you in that direction.

1) Concentrate on the Solution, Not the Problem - Most people’s anxieties come from thinking so much about what’s going wrong that they lose track of what they can do to set it right. Focusing on trying to find a positive solution to a problem is not only more productive, it also helps you to keep your mind off the potential “bad things” that can happen and stress you out.

2) Focus on Logic - anxiety or stress is a product mainly of our emotions. Whenever any stressful situation crops up, our first natural responses are with emotion, wether it be elation, laughter, worry, or pain. When troubles arise, deal with the problem logically instead of emotionally. This allows your solutions to be both more effective and unaffected by personal biases, as well as avoiding anxiety.

3) Find a Hobby - this is a simple thing to implement. Hobbies may, to some people, seem to be a waste of time and resources. However, hobbies, wether in the form of music, exercise, reading a book, or whatever, allow us to relax and take our minds off the “daily grind” that can contribute so much to our anxieties. Nothing is too “silly” to be a hobby, as long as you actually like doing it.

4) Improve Your Sense of Humor - it’s actually a truism that laughter is one of the best medicines in the world. Taking things TOO seriously causes a lot of anxiety. Fussing over any and everything is a surefire way to getting wrinkles before you’re old (which add their own worries and anxiety). Learn to laugh at the world, the things around you, and even (perhaps most importantly) yourself and your worries. If you can find something funny in even the dumbest things that happen to you, your anxieties will collectively pack up and leave for an extended vacation.

5) Baby Steps - when handling situations, remember to take things one step at a time. Trying to plan everything far in advance makes you lose track of the present, and you wind up worrying over things that haven’t even happened yet. There’s nothing wrong with having contingencies for almost every possibility, but it’s best to focus on the here and now. Looking too far ahead down a road tends to make you miss the banana peel at your foot…

6) Murphy’s Law Has a Point - okay, so maybe the saying “what can go wrong will go wrong” isn’t something designed to make you relax. However, this can be modified in a certain fashion. Things DO happen from time to time that we would rather didn’t. You have two choices: agonize over them (and give yourself anxiety, heartburn, and hemmoroids) or just do something about it. Work on and plan for the things you know you can do something about, and just shrug off and deal with the things you can’t.

7) Half Full or Half Empty? It’s BOTH! - most people say “think positive” to deal with anxiety. This isn’t always possible. Blind optimism that things WILL work out will cause tons of anxiety when they eventually DON’T. On the other hand, cynicism and a certainty that things will go boom in your face isn’t a healthy way to think either. Hope for the best but don’t expect it, and plan for the worst without letting worries over it bog you down.

8) Hamsters are Your Friends - okay, I’m half-joking. Actually, it’s true that people who keep pets, especially warm, fuzzy, loveable ones, tend to get their stress knocked out by the antics of their little buddies. If you’re not an animal lover though, feel free to reject this option.

9) Avoid Music and Movies that Kick Your Butt - there are certain times life has a soundtrack. When we’ve just been ditched, it’s almost a dead certainty that the radio will play something sappy and viciously appropriate. However, we don’t have to go out of our way to amplify this cosmic phenomenon. If your anxieties are caused by worries over street violence and the safety of your children, for example, don’t watch a movie about gang wars, or you’ll wind up locking your kids away in the basement till they’re 20-something. They won’t like that unless you include an ample supply of beer, potato chips, video games, and porn. Not a good idea.

10) Avoid Paranoid People - birds of a feather, and all that… you know the saying. Well, if you have anxieties about certain things, don’t hang around with people stuck in the same rut who spend all their time whining about it. Find people who have gone through the things that bother you but have come through it with their skins intact. You’ll learn useful things, AND you will know that no matter how bad things get there’s always an end in sight.

Organic Ingredients - Manures

Animal manures are at the top of the list for adding nutrient to the soil in an Organic Garden. Manures are typically from Cattle, Horse and Sheep. Sheep manures are popular due to the small pelletised form but they tend to be lacking in nutrients when compared to Cattle manure. Chicken manure is also popular but should be well aged before adding to garden beds. Chicken manure, when fresh is high in Nitrogen and tends to burn young plants.

Chicken Manure is an ideal additive to a compost heap. The high nitrogen content aids in the decomposition of the material and can lead to quicker compost being formed. It should be scattered periodically on compost in thin layers to avoid a thick “glug” of chicken manure in the middle of the compost heap. Fresh chicken manure may be applied to a lawn with a thick Flatweed growth. Flat weeds do not respond well to high nitrogenous fertilisers and will wilt. Most grasses will thrive on high nitrogen products.

Organic Manures can be bought from most garden centres and can also be collected direct from chicken farms, Cattle farms and the like. Some companies also produce pelletised forms of manures, which are suitable for many applications. If you don’t mind the idea of collecting your own, contact farms in your area and ask them if they would mind you collecting a bag or 2 direct from the paddock. Most, if not all will be pleased to have you collect it.

Plants which respond well to manures in the garden include:

  • Tomatoes, Capsicum, Pumpkin & Zucchini
  • Roses, Annual beds, Perennials and most flowering plants
  • Manures are not recommended for indoor plants due to typical smell that comes with all manure.

    When applying to Leafy Vegetable plants – Lettuce, Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower it is best to mix the manure with water and apply with a watering can directly to the base of the plant. Especially if it is being added near plants that are ready to be harvested.

    It is best to get your manure from farmers who use Organic Agricultural practices. If this is not possible and you are adding your manure to Vermiculture systems (Worm Farms) be sure the cattle have not been given any form of “worm prevention medication” at least a month prior to feeding the vermiculture system. If this is not possible, age the manure at least a month first.

    Start Organizing With A Baby Step

    Steps to organize your purse or diaper bag

    Whether it is Spring cleaning or a New Year’s resolution to finally clean up the clutter, organizing your whole house can be overwhelming. This can be especially true if you are a new mom and are just trying to make a path through the dirty laundry to the bathroom. Here’s a great place to start. Start with a baby step. Start with cleaning out your purse or diaper bag. At least you can take this organizational accomplishment with you where ever you go.

    - You will need several small purses or bags to fit into your daily purse. I like the clear flexible plastic bags that zipper or snap. I found 3 of these at the dollar store. Use as many as you need.

    - Group like things together and keep these in your purse.

    - Make a rule to never have loose items floating around in your main purse. That’s how you get the penny-gum-receipt-ball that comes out stuck to your baby bottle when you hand over the bottle to your mother-in-law.

    - Keep your money, checks, and a few cards in your wallet. Take out photos and put into a flat clear zipper bag. Then you can find them when you want them and they don’t get “junked up” as my 4 year old used to say. Also, take out your more seldom used credit cards or membership cards, like the library card, the video store card, frequent shopper cards and put them into a separate bag. This might free up your wallet so that you might actually be able to snap it closed!

    - In a separate clear zippered container, put all your make-up. This way, if you can’t remember if your Spring-time frosty lip-gloss is in your purse, you can just take out the make-up bag and see right through the plastic.

    - Use the last clear bag to put miscellaneous items like, Band-Aids, a small calculator, gum, hand cream, nail file.

    - Find a non-see through bag to put more personal items in like feminine protection and prescription medicines. I also carry a small pill bottle with one pill for every ailment I can think of striking me at an inopportune time. I use an old child proof capped medicine bottle for this just in case your purse is in an area where children might have access.

    - Organizing your purse this way will also make it easier to trade purses. Just take out the little bags you need and put them into the next purse. Trading purses goes from being a 30 minute ordeal to being fun and really fast.

    Once you’ve organized your purse, then start to attack your filing system. Once you get some of these everyday areas under control, you can start to breath a little easier and move on to other areas of your home. It won’t happen all at once. Every year that goes by I think I am a little more organized. Maybe by the time my kids are grown I will be done? But then I will have to organize all those dinner parties that my husband and I will be having. Yipee!

    Dragon Meditation And Sixth Sense Development

    Another benefit from DM training is sixth sense skill. However, this is not main goal of DM because not everybody will experience this. This is very interest to discuss it and I hope some people who train DM can feel and experience six sense whatever they can get it. Sixth sense is not paranormal phenomena but only other benefit of feeling training. This article discuss into three section: What is Sixth sense, Develop sixth sense with DM and What you feel if You have sixth sense skills.

    What is Sixth sense?

    Sixth sense is an indigo capability that get in from meditation especially DM. Once again, this is not main goal you have train meditation especially DM. This is only positive side effect of DM. In sixth sense condition, you have some character with you:

    1. You feel in very calm condition whatever happened with you. Dangerous, happy, sad, uncertainty, etc is not matter condition because your heart and feel in very calm condition. Your mind can think anything in good process and your feeling can guide your decision of these conditions.

    2. You feel and know something that will happen to you or other peoples or environment.

    3. You can handle something will happen depend on how strong your feeling and how long your DM training. You will know self as long as training.

    4. If something will happen and you know it before happen but you cannot avoid it. This is God divine decree. Please be patient!

    5. You can hear feel and think other peoples without these peoples say to you.

    6. You “can see (and feel)” some body that you know in other place what they do, think and feel.

    7. If you have friend with same sixth sense skill, you can communicate with your friend in other location based on agreement or you contact him to chitchat this time.

    8. You can feel other world like jinni and ghost but you are not afraid. Please do not interaction with this area. It will be hurt of you. Do not care is more better.

    Develop sixth sense with DM

    As I said above sixth sense is not main goal. However, you can get in if you can feel your DM in your training. There is no specific method to develop and train sixth sense. There are only happen if you

    1. You get in DM training very serious, patient and always keep your feel in your hand and other wave in DM.

    2. You should be maintaining your ethics and relationship with GOD.

    3. This is need long time of training to get in indigo capability.

    4. You can control of your feel, think, emotion and activity.

    5. Keep close to your GOD based on your own way.

    6. If you feel very enjoy in DM and able to train in long time meditation without boring and tired, then you start enter to indigo area. Keep feel it and enjoy!

    What feel if you have sixth sense skills?
    This is very depending on your self with your indigo skills. You can feel enjoy or you can feel not enjoy because you can know anything what will happen. If you feel disturb with your new skill, you can neglect it with any activities make you always busy.
