The most important thing is to get your article written and submitted.
2. Not knowing what to write about – Anything that you are interested in and have knowledge about will make a good article. Look around your house and make some notes. Everything in your life can become an article. If you know about something there will be many people who will want to read what you write about it.
3. Being afraid to write in an area that you have no expertise in – Even if you have just a small amount of knowledge and interest in something you can write an article that will reach another person in a special way. No one can write the way you can. If you write from your heart you will be reaching out to people who need to hear the information from you in your words.

So go ahead and write. Write about your hobbies, your career, your family, and your life. These articles are an important part of our culture. Ten years ago you had to submit articles to publications that were looking for specific topics and styles of writing. Not anymore. Researchers, backed by drug industry money, know this, but they also know that the average person and the average journalist lack the knowledge to see through the veil.

The FDA supports these studies because they serve an agenda, which keeps you paying for drugs through the products you buy, the checks you earn and the taxes you pay.

The United States pays more than any other country, per capita, to treat sickness and yet the World Health Organization ranks the US 37th in overall wellness in the world. The sickness paradigm is a failure when it comes to anything other than trauma care. A massive money machine, supported by the FDA is what keeps it going.

The trampoline, which was invented back in the 1930s by Larry Griswold and George Nissen, has been a great source of fun and exercise for children and adults alike. In the early days of the trampoline, the safety aspect was not such a big issue as it is today. Accidents were accepted as part of the trampoline experience back then. As these accidents became more frequent and their severity became greater, even leading to fatalities, something had to be done to improve the safety of the trampoline. Here we take a look at some of the safety measures brought in and how they reduce the possibility of accidents occurring.

The earliest safety measures for trampoline use involved simple common sense and good placement of the apparatus. Parents were mindful of children becoming reckless during exercise or aggressive and competitive play on the trampoline. Boys, more than girls, would try to see who could bounce the highest or do the most outlandish twists and somersaults in mid-air. Often, two or more children would try to bounce together. These antics would often result in one of the more over-enthusiastic children coming to harm by colliding in mid-air, landing badly or being catapulted from the trampoline and landing hard on the ground.

To reduce the possibility of that hard landing, placing a trampoline on a grassy area was better than on hard asphalt, concrete or paved areas. Placing the apparatus in an open space away from overhanging branches, clothes lines or other interfering projections also reduced accidents. Making sure there were no dangerous objects on the ground around the trampoline such as rocks or sharp tools or toys also helped.

Parental supervision was another common sense safety measure, but one that was not strictly adhered to, so rules had to be introduced to prevent children hurting themselves. One such rule was to allow only one child on the trampoline at a time. Other preventative rules, such as never using the trampoline when it was wet, also reduced accidents.

A later safety measure taken to reduce the possibility of accidents occurring during exercise on trampolines involved erecting safety netting around the perimeter of the trampoline frame. This is a fairly recent addition and comprises outwardly splayed or upright netting attached to a lightweight aluminum or steel tubular frame. Different types either attach directly to the trampoline frame or are erected around its perimeter. These safety nets prevent the user being accidentally thrown off the trampoline.

Safety first is a common sense institution that has been around for a very long time now. Parents and teachers have drummed safety first into children from an early age to try to reduce accidents occurring during the large number of different activities that they get up to. The use of a trampoline for exercise or recreation is no exception and in most cases where common sense prevails, accidents will be minimal. Parental supervision further reduces that risk, or in the case of adult exercise safety netting can also help to prevent accidents occurring. In the end, the trampoline is a device that combines exercise with great pleasure and fun for children and adults alike and when it’s done safely, the enjoyment is complete.

How to play poker texas holdem style really isn’t that complicated. It’s pretty
easy to learn the basic structure of playing texas holdem. Of course, mastering
texas holdem poker and winning on a consistent basis is something else entirely.
But you have to master the basics before you can move on and make bucket loads
of cash from playing poker. So how do you master the basics?

Texas holdem poker, unlike some other poker games, doesn’t take long to learn.

* The Texas Holdem Dealer

In texas holdem, the dealer rotates clockwise. When playing casino style poker,
where a professional dealer deals each hand, the dealer uses a white plastic
puck about 2 inches in diameter to indicate who the dealer would be if you were
switching dealers each hand like you would at a home game. This puck is called
the ‘button.’ This is what people mean when they describe a hand in holdem by
saying they were on the button. This means they were in the position of dealer
for that particular hand.

The button also helps determine the order of play each hand. The person to the
left of the dealer acts first (except during the first round of betting) and
the dealer acts last (again, except during that first round of betting).

Now lets look at those first round betting exceptions.

* Before the deal

Before any cards are dealt and before any betting takes place, the first two
players to the left of the button, post (place in front of them), what is referred
to as the blinds. They are called “blinds” because they are bets that the
two players to the left of the button must make, in preset amounts, before they
get any cards. They are betting blind.

The person directly to the left of the button posts what is called the small blind.
The person directly to his left then posts what is called the big blind. The size
of the blinds are determined by the name of the texas holdem poker game you are
playing. The small is usually half a small bet and the big blind is a full small
bet.

So, if you are playing in a $2 - $4 texas holdem game, the small blind would be
$1 (half the small bet) and the big blind would be $2 (the small bet).

Now, what do these bets mean? If you are playing $2-$4 hold’em, all bets and
raises during the first two rounds of betting, are made in $2 increments. All bets
and raises made during the final two rounds, are made in $4 increments.

* Dealing the Cards

Once the blinds have been posted, the dealer deals two cards facedown to each of the
players, one card at a time. These two cards are called the player’s ‘hole cards.’
These are your private cards and aren’t to be shown to any one else.
