Become a Joint Venture King

There are many ways to make money on the internet. All methods however, come with a price-tag. For starters, you will probably need to purchase basic business software and relevant learning materials. Planning and developing your ideas will definitely require dedication and perseverance all along the way.

One of the best methods for getting started is to partner with other marketers so that you can reach larger target audiences.

These joint ventures or “JV’s” can take-on many different forms. Some are as simple as promoting each other’s newsletters, while others may be more complex partnerships with cross-promoting of complimentary products. Some JV’s even involve starting entirely new projects from scratch.

Joint Ventures are a powerful tool for expanding business in many areas. So, what is stopping ‘you’ from using this technique to expand your business?

For many new marketers, starting a JV can be a frightening task, especially when it comes to contacting other marketers.
Too often, many marketers appear to be “spamming,” when they are really just seeking other JV partners. Here are some tips that may help you along the way:

1. Get to know your potential JV partners.

If you start emailing everyone on your list of potential partners, chances are you will be considered a common spammer. You won’t get the partners you want, or even worse, may destroy your reputation in the process.

Instead, subscribe to your potential partner’s newsletter and check out their websites and blog. Get to know them a little bit before approaching them with a proposal.

2. Go slowly when approaching potential partners.

Let’s face it, everyone likes a little flattery. When contacting your potential JV partner, treat them like your “first date.” Be courteous and complimentary. Tell them the things you like about their business. Join their newsletter and tell them you think it is awesome, and why. You will be surprised at how much attention you receive by using a little well placed flattery as you proceed to develop your relationships with potential JV partners.

3. Your financial estimates should always be realistic.

Don’t promise what you can’t deliver. Be honest with your potential partners. Explain your proposal and benefits in realistic terms, but don’t hype. Be honest, open and sincere.

4. Online forums are a fantastic way to introduce yourself and your business.

Using forums to connect with your market is a natural progression. Forums are online communities where individuals can discuss topics ranging from fly fishing to breast feeding to internet business. Discussions are conducted by posting notes to the forum. A single discussion is called a ‘thread’ and most forums have several - even hundreds - of threads going at any time.

What is truly remarkable about the use of forums is the personal quality of the discussions. Read some of the posts on forums such as ivillage.com and you’ll soon see that the members become more like neighbors (and even friends) than strangers connected only by the keyboard and monitor in front of them.

Where brick and mortar businesses used to prosper based on their involvement in the community - online businesses now have a neighborhood all their own - online forums.

How can participating in a forum help YOUR business?

NETWORKING:

Online forums are a fantastic place to connect with others who are knowledgeable about your business. You probably cater to the same audience and share a common interest. If your businesses compliment one another you might just find a highly profitable partnership or joint venture.

Even if you don’t find a working relationship you may find the referrals or discussions highly beneficial.

TRAFFIC BUILDING:

Along with the referrals you may get when you’ve developed a trusted online presence with other members of the forum, you are also likely to attract targeted visitors to your website.

If the forum permits you to post a signature (your website URL) onto the posts then you can be sure that some of the members and quite likely some of the ‘lurkers’ (people who view but don’t post) will come check out your site.

Getting a Joint Venture off the ground doesn’t have to be scary if you start by following the three simple steps given above.

Get going and get growing today!

Africa Namibia Travel & Tips Information

In Namibia, upon the parched palate of a vast and contradictory land, the realities of thirst have created a plethora of idiosyncratic societies. The shifting dunes of the Namib Desert are honeycombed with the greatest variety of living creatures of any dunelands around the world.

The desolate Skeleton Coast, monument to by-gone maritime disasters, contrasts with the vibey holiday atmosphere of the quaint German settlement of Swakopmund. Within the precincts of Etosha Pan, the lake of a mother’s tears, where perimeter waterholes enclose the salt expanse, great herds of game are on a perpetual pub-crawl. This provides some of the most magnificent gameviewing opportunities anywhere.

Inland, in surrealist Damaraland, you’ll encounter various social curiosities, including the Petrified Forest; Welwitschia Mirabilis, the thousand year old underground tree; the statuesque Kokerboom; and the diminutive Damara Dik Dik, with its twitching nose.

Namibia - big sky country.

A place where undulating deserts fold down to meet a tempestuous coastline, Namibia offers a diverse range of highlights: Scenic beauty including the Skeleton Coast - untouched and untamed, this desolate and uninhabited landscape is home to the rare Brown Hyena and Desert Elephants, seal colonies and is the burial ground of many ships; the Kunene River - the source of one of Africa’s greatest waterfalls, the Ruacana; the splendour of abundant bird and wildlife; unusual geological formations including Fish River Canyon, Brandberg, Spitzkoppe and the unique star-shaped dune mountains at Sossusvlei;

pristine wilderness including Etosha Pan - an oasis in the centre of a vast semi-desert region, the Namib Desert - the only desert that harbours elephant, rhino, lion and giraffe; the diverse and friendly nation - vibrant African cultures blended with the architecture and traditions of the Germans, British and South Africans; Adventure opportunities - from sand boarding, canoeing, white water rafting to hot air ballooning and The Desert Express Train.

Welcome Tourism Services offers a comprehensive variety of escorted tours; self-drive tours and fly-in safaris; special interest and adventure packages; tailormade tours and safaris throughout this exciting and unique region. We cater for individual travellers, groups, conferences and incentives.

Windhoek, Namibia’s capital city, is set in the Central Region. With its international airport, Windhoek is a convenient point to begin or end your tour and provides a good base for local excursions. The northern part of the Central Region has an astonishing diversity of bird, animal life and mineral wealth while to the west is the Namib Desert and the Kalahari to the east.

The majestic Auas mountains, the Eros mountains and the rolling Khomas Hochland surround Windhoek. Mineral springs offer an oasis in this very dry region and holiday resorts are located close to Windhoek. The national parks, fascinating little towns, out of the way mission stations and cattle ranches all have their own unique attractions.

The Namib Region stretches from Oranjemund in the south up through the Skeleton Coast to the Angolan border in the north, mostly consisting of national parks. The Namib-Naukluft Park is considered the fourth largest in the world, covering 49 768 km sq. Hardy desert plants and the variety of landscapes make this a magical place for scenic photographers.

The ancient Namib Desert features many of Namibia’s tourist destinations and is home to one of the world’s oldest plants - the prehistoric Welwitschia Mirabilis and a large number of endemic dunedwelling creatures.

The Skeleton Coast National Park reaches from the Ugab to the Kunene River. Hardy desert animals congregate around the intermittent watering places, while in the distance craggy mountains and vistas of sand dunes enhance its beauty.

The popular coastal resort of Swakopmund has many buildings dating back to the turn of the century, these national monuments represent the town’s German colonial past. With its numerous excursion possibilities, Swakopmund is rapidly becoming Namibia’s groups and conventions destination. Walvis Bay is 31 km south of Swakopmund, another principal port of entry and has a flourishing fishing industry.

The Walvis Bay lagoon is one of Africa’s most important wetlands and hosts large flocks of flamingoes, pelicans and other water birds. West of the Naukluft mountains is the Sesriem Canyon gorged out over centuries by the Tsauchaub River. 63 km away is Sossusvlei, a dry clay basin surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world. Lüderitz, between the desert and the coast, was the first German settlement in Namibia and the base of the South African diamond industry in 1908. This sea-side resort is the centre of Namibia’s crayfish industry, renowned for its oysters and the ghost town of Kolmanskop is not far away.

The fertile Northern Region is the largest region in Namibia, with vast areas under cultivation, sustained by underground lakes. The highlight of this region is the Etosha National Park, one of the major wildlife sanctuaries in Africa and an official game reserve since 1907. This 22 270 km sq park ranges from dense bush to open plains and houses prolific bird and wildlife.

Two attractive towns in the centre of a rich mining area are Otavi, sheltered by the Otavi Mountains and Tsumeb further north. Damaraland offers contrasting desert, rolling grasslands and high mountain ranges with unusual geological features, rock paintings and rare animals. It is separated from the Atlantic Ocean by the Skeleton Coast National Park.

The volcanic landscapes around Khorixas bear footprints of dinosaurs and the Petrified Forest (massive tree trunks up to 30 m in length) lies scattered across the plains with Welwitschias and other hardy desert plants growing among them.

Twyfelfontein (Fountain of Doubt) is south-west of the Petrified Forest offering spectacular rock paintings and engravings dating back thousands of years. South of Twyfelfontein is a desolate landscape of volcanic rock called Burnt Mountain. Nearby are the Organ Pipes, a formation of perpendicular basalt. The Brandberg Range contains the highest mountain peak in the country (the Kunigstein 2 573 m) and many rock paintings including the famous White Lady of Brandberg.

The Caprivi Strip is an exciting destination for the adventurous traveller with rivers, forests, swamps and waterways - it is a total contrast to the arid grandeur of the rest of Namibia. Activities in this area include hiking, fishing, gameviewing, birdwatching and mokoro trails. The beautiful landscape of the Southern Region is stark, desolate, hot and dry. Earthquakes and storms have carved the land into wonderful sculptures. Brukkaros, an extinct volcano, looms over the plains north of Keetmanshoop.

The Fish River Canyon - a ravine 161 m long, up to 27 km wide and almost 550 m deep and the hot spring resort of Ai-Ais are popular attractions.

The Kokerboom, an aloe capable of surviving years of drought, and the Quiver Tree Forest, a protected area 23 km north-east of Keetmanshoop, are found here. Although agriculture (dominated by livestock production) provides a livelihood for an estimated 70% of Namibia’s population, mining provides the backbone to the economy.

Diamonds, gold, silver, uranium, copper, lead, zinc, magnesium, cadmium and other base metals are all produced. Having developed rapidly since independence, tourism is currently the country’s third most important foreign exchange earner.

Remanufactured Elliptical Trainers

Quality elliptical trainers that provide a quality workout and have a reliable performance record are generally expensive. In fact we recommend that you consider paying at least $1000.00 and preferably $1200.00 for an elliptical trainer. This generally assures that you will have a good quality elliptical machine. It is the old pay me now or pay me later situation and cost is an indicator of quality when it comes to fitness equipment.

Remanufactured elliptical trainers can be a viable option when considering top end cross trainers. A great example is the Life Fitness CT9500HRR remanufactured cross trainer. This is a top end elliptical trainer that is designed for in home or light commercial use. New list price for this top end elliptical trainer is $4995.00. As you can see this not a cheap piece of fitness equipment, however a good quality remanufactured CT9500HRR sells for about $2999.95. That is a serious savings of about $2000.00 for what we feel is a good elliptical machine.

Buying an elliptical trainer that is this expensive can cause you to have second thoughts but again you get what you pay for. Just head over the local fitness center, gym or YMCA and ask them what they are paying for their equipment and you will quickly understand what a deal this unit is. The Life Fitness CT9500HRR Crosstrainer has been remanufactured by Global Fitness, a Los Angeles-based company that refurbishes and re-sells exercise equipment from the industry’s most trusted names.

We recently had the opportunity to test the CT9500HRR remanufacture cross trainer that was purchase by a condo association for use by its members. We had previously used the CT9500HR that was in relatively new condition and thus were familiar with its operation. We also interviewed the manager of the condo association to find out if there were any problems with the remanufactured Life Fitness CT9500HRR. The association had purchased it just two months earlier and had only one minor problem when setting up the elliptical cross trainer. The self generating power system and wheels were especially appreciated features.

Each of our four testers spent an hour on the Life Fitness CT9500HRR. Two of our testers have more than 500 hours on elliptical trainers and are very picky when it comes to performance and features. One of our testers is a large martial artist and weight lifter and is immediate comment was on how sturdy the machine felt to him. Two of the testers thought the console should have been larger or laid out better. One feature we all would have liked to see on a high end cross trainer is the ability to change the incline and thus the stride length. This gives the user a more complete lower body workout. Never the less we all thought the Life Fitness CT9500HRR performed flawlessly.

Warranties are a concern whenever you purchase any piece of fitness equipment. Remanufactured elliptical trainers by Global fitness have a standard 6 month parts and labor warranty and a one year warranty on the motor. The company also has a 30 day return policy without any restocking fee.

If you are serious about acquiring a quality elliptical trainer for your home or office you may want to look at a remanufactured elliptical machine. As always you should do your home work and check out the customer reviews for each elliptical trainer you are considering. We also suggest that you take the machine for a test ride whenever possible. This can be accomplished by visiting your local fitness equipment dealer or fitness center and spending 30 minutes on the each model. Make sure the elliptical machine fits your body and workout style before you take out your credit card. Remember and elliptical trainer is a great way to stay in shape but only if you use it on a regular basis. That means your elliptical trainer has to be reliable and maintenance free.

Making Projects Simple And Convenient With The Use Of A Sewing Machine

There was a time when everything that was sewn was done so by hand; such was the way of the world when clothes, household items, and a bevy of materials that we take for granted today were put together with needle, thread, and a lot of hard work. But the advent of the sewing machine changed the way in which we created these goods and for those who continue to sew today, the sewing machine remains the tool of choice.

Since the American-patent was filed in 1846, the sewing machine quickly took its place in history, offering users a level of convenience not previously experienced. Sewing was always something that took time, patience, and hard work. The sewing machine, while still maintaining a need for focus, concentration, and time, allowed the making of projects in a much more efficient way.

Of course, the sewing machine of today barely resembles the sewing machine of the past. Streamlined and sleek, today’s sewing machine offers the ability to create any kind of stitch that you require and has increasingly elevated the user experience over the years to a heightened level of convenience.

For those who are just starting out learning how to sew, a sewing machine may not be a purchase you want to make right away. These machines – depending on the bells and whistles they include – can be quite pricey. You should be sure that you enjoy sewing and wish to continue before you make the financial investment necessary to purchase a sewing machine.

If you do decide to take the leap, be sure to do some comparison shopping. You’ll often find a wide variety of prices on different models of sewing machines so take your time to find the one that offers all of the features that you want at a price point you can afford.

Iran and No Holocaust

Iran and “No Holocaust”

The leader of Iran, a supposed holder of a doctorate in Engineering, obviously never
went to school at all; he must have been home schooled.

Let’s find out what occurred during those years and let’s see if we can put aside
the possibility of a holocaust and see if it floats.

A) Prison or concentration camps.
They do exist. They could have been training camps for soldiers. What did the
German generals say they were for? IF the builders do not deny them, then we
are sort of sold on that one.

B) Trains to move 6,000,000 passengers. While it is possible that many people
could have gone way one to somewhere in E and SE Germany or out of the nation,
they had to go somewhere and in-between train station masters keep records of
trains going and coming. This could be a hard one to prove who the occupants were.

C) Materials sent to the camps for building gas camps, ovens, and more. This required
manifests or the items could have been hidden in fake documents under code.

D) Smoke created by the ovens; this was not a few hours of smoke or days but
instead, months and years. Thus, while it is not proof of what was smoking it is
at least proof that something was burned.

E) Art and valuables taken by the German generals. While some of this was discovered
by the American victors, some of it was sent out of country and hidden. Let’s ignore
that which was sent out of country. American field officers and generals freely admit
that at several sites “Freed” by the Americans, art work and other valuables were discovered.
While this could have been art work stolen by thieves from anywhere, it would make
no sense to have the aggregate of art work kept in one place if it were stolen by many hundreds of thieves from many places. MOST art work is kept by the rich in their homes if they
contracted for the theft or bought innocently. That art work is not kept in hidden places.

F) Soldiers of the German army. While they did as they were told, and their leaders
were convicted or found innocent at Nuernberg, at least their histories are on record.

G) Intermittent suppliers of the camps. These supplies had to go some place. Thousands
of bars of toilet materials [while the Jews were still alive] and crumbs of food are still something. They were bought from some place and the places that bought them have invoices
and the manufacturers have invoices.

H) Mayors and other elected officials who were bribed were bribed by someone. Matching
what the bribes were with bank deposits and purchases is possible.

I) Utilities; Imagine the reduction in demand of 6,000,000 people on sewers,
drinking water, electric use and mail.

J) Who occupied all those empty units? Were they left vacant or occupied
as recreational homes by other Germans? It must have taken years to
get that many units re-occupied.

K) All those senders of mail. It is not hard to throw mail away but what do the senders do?
They keep track of who has not answered. If they did not make it to the US, they moved elsewhere. How many re-located their relatives or non-Jewish friends?

L) Bank accounts. Those were easy to get rid of. So, no proof there.

I just found this on the internet; thus the Iranian President is not the only fool:
“Today, you may be imprisoned or fined for dissenting from the accepted Holocaust history in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Israel, Lithuania, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Switzerland.”
[http://www.skeptic.com/eskeptic/06-03-02.html] There are skinheads and others who
want to be different. So, they choose dissension about the camps. I wonder why
they don’t choose to dissent with the right to have hair instead.

More proof-

http://www.worldwar-2.net/timelines/the-holocaust/the-holocaust-index-1945.htm

http://www.world-war-2-holocaust.org/holocaust_1.html

from CNN:

Manouchehr Mohammadi, Iran’s deputy foreign minister for research, told Iran’s state-run news agency, IRNA, that Tehran’s leaders would accept that the Holocaust occurred if scholars attending the conference could prove that the Nazi regime exterminated 6 million Jews during World War II.

1. But Mohammadi said Iran does not deny the murders and damages caused by Hitler’s genocide, nor that 50 million people were the victims of his racism, according to IRNA.

Car Insurance Rates - 4 Tips for Preventing Car Theft

Having your car stolen can be a scary thing. Many who have had their cars taken typically feel both angry and vulnerable, even to the point of feeling somewhat “violated”. If you don’t have insurance that covers the theft of a car when it happens, it can be equally as scary from a financial point of view. When you have comprehensive coverage on your car, your insurance company will help to replace your stolen car. While having this coverage is important, there are some ways that you can help prevent your car from being stolen as well, which may save you money on your car insurance rates in the long run. As they say, an ounce of prevention is always worth a pound of cure.

Tip 1: Use Common Sense - One of the best ways that you can prevent your car from being stolen is to use common sense and make sure that you lock your car doors whenever you leave your vehicle, regardless if it’s in a dark alley, a public place, or parked in your garage. Plain and simple, if you leave your doors unlocked all the time, you elevate the risk of your car being stolen. You should also be sure that you take your keys with you and never leave them in your car or anywhere else in public. Often just using these common sense precautions is enough to save you from car theft.

Tip 2: Get an Alarm - You can also help prevent car theft by installing some kind of warning device or alarm device in your car. Whether it is a visible device or an audible one, both can be good deterrents to anyone thinking about stealing your car. Usually alarms are fairly affordable, and it is definitely cheaper than trying to find a new car.

Tip 3: Use an Immobilizing Device - Another way to prevent your car from being stolen is to purchase some kind of immobilizing device to use in your car. There are a variety of different devices available, such as smart keys, kill switches, the Club, and fuel cut-offs. Many of these devices are relatively inexpensive and they are highly effective as well.

Tip 4: Install a Tracking Device - One of the newer ways to deter car thieves is to have a tracking device installed in your car. These devices are quite high tech, and they will alert you when someone is moving your car without authorization. Some of these tracking devices actually will notify the police when unauthorized movement is made as well. While these tend to be a bit more expensive than other methods, they can definitely be a great help if your car actually gets stolen.

Even though you may have coverage on your car that will pay if it is stolen, taking preventive measures is much simpler and will help keep your car insurance rates down as well. Just taking the time to use common sense and employ the help of cheap devices can help keep your car from being stolen. While incorporating one of these tips is great, using all of them together can give you the best results when trying to protect your car from theft.

The Myth Of Liposuction For Weight Loss

In a culture that is very much focused on instant gratification, we hold our weight loss up to the same standards, expecting pounds to shed immediately and muscles to be defined with the lifting of one weight. It’s no wonder that more and more people turn to liposuction for weight loss – a procedure that rids the body of pockets of fat. But what people fail to realize is that liposuction for weight loss does not address the underlying weight issue and will not achieve desired results without the use of proper diet and exercise.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure that involves the making of several incisions around a particular area of the body that is storing excessive fat deposits. A surgeon then inserts an instrument into the incisions that allows them to vacuum out excess fat. The procedure, however, is far more invasive then it sounds; the surgeon must aggressively attack fat to remove it from the body and to maintain a consistent and smooth appearance. The liposuction patient – who is most often put under general anesthesia – faces recovery time like any other surgery - and some pain following the procedure.

What has been shown is that liposuction works for trouble spots that have not adequately responded to proper diet and exercise. An overall healthy person often responds well to liposuction if they are using the procedure as a supplement to good nutrition and healthy physical habits. However, liposuction for weight loss in a patient who is overweight, physically unfit, and in the habit of eating poorly will almost always fail. The reason is that liposuction for weight loss is not a magic bullet.

In such a case, the patient is required to adopt healthy eating habits and proper exercise in order to maintain the look of the liposuction. Liposuction for weight loss does not in any way mean that once the procedure is performed you can eat whatever you want and live a sedentary lifestyle.

If you are interested in liposuction for weight loss, it is imperative that you go about it in the right way. If you are not already doing so, you must immediately adopt a diet designed for weight loss and optimum health; one that includes the eating of whole foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Practice portion control, drink plenty of water, and stay away from foods high in fat and sugar. Additionally, it is important to implement a consistent exercise program that incorporates cardiovascular work, weight training, and core work such as Pilates, yoga, and a stretching program.

You may find that after several months on such a program you will see significant changes in your body’s appearance and that liposuction for weight loss is unnecessary. If however, you still want to have liposuction to address trouble spots, you will now be in a position to enter in to the surgery as a healthy person who can maintain a healthy lifestyle following surgery.

Business Software, A Good Solution for Flourishing Business!

You now have your own business and it is flourishing! What a wonderful time in your life! Maybe you started your business using the pencil and paper accounting that you learned in high school or even college. Maybe you have really moved into the computer age and you have an Excel spreadsheet that you have created. When your business is really flourishing is the time that you need to realize that it is also the prime opportunity to rethink how you are controlling your finances?

Now is the perfect time that to look into accounting software; but more appropriate it is time to find the right software package to meet your businesses growing fiscal demands. This is the prime opportunity to evaluate whether your business is one that requires more records than just income and expenses. If you are required to track more than income and expenses then it is time to invest in a software package.

Here are some other considerations that you must take into account:

• Do you have more than fifty transactions in a month?

• Do you have customers that you extend credit?

• Are you incorporated?

• Are you computer literate or is one of your family members computer literate?

• Are you spending a lot of money on a bookkeeper that is still using the old pencil and paper method or an antiquated computer program?

• Do you need to:
o Show that you are making a profit or not making a profit?
o Write checks or write checks to the same people or companies month after month?
o Download financial information from your bank?
o Print invoices?
o Track receivables?
o Prepare your annual financial statements?
o Prepare taxes?

If you have answered yes to one or all of these questions, then it is time to look at accounting software. Good accounting software can help you with all of the considerations that were listed above.

At this point you may want to talk with your accountant. Your accountant may be able to suggest accounting software or may suggest that it would be less expensive for you to use the same software that they use.
