Laughing Keeps You Healthy - Laughter is the Best Medicine - Laughter and Learning Effectiveness

An infant’s smile or a child’s laugh is magical. Receiving a smile from an infant or child elicits an automatic smile from any adult. Parents, grandparents and adults alike will perform varying degrees of happy face antics in the hope of getting a baby to smile. Medical studies have determined that laughing is both contagious and healthy.

I it’s most demure mode, laughing will manifest itself visually as a smile maybe coupled with some wide eye contact. At the other extreme end of the laughing scale, you will realize Visual, Kinesthetic, and Auditory displays – leg slapping, belly shaking, body contorting laughter! Just thinking about this ‘Laugh Attack’ brings a smile to your face. Remembering or thinking about laughter itself physically and mentally emotes all the positive effects of actually laughing.

The beautiful thing about laughter is that it is contagious. It matters not whether you initiate laughing or it comes from some other source, the health benefits of laughing have been studied and documented.

Laughter is the BEST MEDICINE!

Yet, laughter is still one of the least understood of human behaviors and one that is just now a serious study by scientists. Science has been able to determine three parts of the brain are activated during a good laugh:

1) a thinking or cognitive area for understanding the joke,

2) a movement or kinesthetic part for initiating muscle movement, and

3) an emotional region that derives the “giddy” feeling. Why do people laugh at jokes delivered while others laugh at incongruities like pain inflicted or a threatening situations? Is laughter a signal indicating a action is meant “in fun”? These things are still being studied.

Laughter makes us (and others) feel better.

Studies have identified a number of areas, where applying laughter, will be a positive and healthy experience. Feel better by laughing:

1) Health and laughing

A) lifts up your mood

B) is contagious and positive

C) is stress reducing

D) has proven long term connections to improved mental health

2) Learning and laughter has shown that

A) levity as a teaching style reduces fear and anxiety and opens students up to learning and absorbing

B) well-planned, appropriate, contextual humor can help students ingrain information

3) Relationships and laughing

A) help create a social lubricant that, in groups, encourages cooperation and altruistic behavior

B) is believed to be one of the earliest forms of communication; especially, emotional communication. Laughter could have preceded the spoken word and bonded groups in pre-historic society.

“By the time a child reaches nursery school, he or she will laugh about 300 times a day. Adults laugh an average of 17 times a day.” “Science of Laughter” Discovery Health

Clearly as adults we do not laugh enough. Here are ten ideas to improve and increase laughter [and fun] in your life:

1) Receive, Share and Tell Jokes - email is awesome for this and so are social gatherings. Telling jokes (and learning what jokes are appropriate) will prove to improve your social and public speaking skills.

2) Share humorous personal stories - stories about yourself will allow you to laugh at yourself. Laughing at yourself is a great way to express and learn from our mistakes and little foibles.

3) With your family and friends play group games that require group interaction (Parlour Games) - old standards and board games (like Charades, Pictionary, Balderdash, Cranium, Trivial Pursuit, Humzinger) or more organized themed events like a Murder Mystery Night. Excellent for a varied group of age and shyness. These are just FUN! Play like children!

4) Laugh out loud - not just a chuckle, a deep laugh that works the lungs and belly (maybe even brings tears to your eyes). Laughing equals Happy and Happy equals Healthy!

5) Karoke or new video games like Guitar Hero - whether at home or at a public event, singing and music are excellent and fun group situations that will help create fun and laughter!

6) Meet your group at a favorite pub or watering hole - conversation and stories will naturally make you laugh. Have fun!

7) Play Kids’ Games - nothing allow you to play like a child than playing with your children or grandchildren. And nothing is more liberating than laughing with children!

8) Learn with friends - experience learning a new language or go to dance class with other people or couples. Laughing will open you up to a better learning experience.

9) Host a Party (maybe with a Fun Theme (item 3) - a casual informal gathering (BYOB, BBQ, Campfire or Dinner Party) will always give people an opportunity to meet and share. Invite fun people and you will create a fun and memorable event.

10) Do something you have never done before - with other people or friends, step out and do something new (community fair, site seeing, small airplane ride, hot air balloon, casino, a day at the track, snowmobiling, skiing). With a group you have both the benefit of increased support and protection. Have fun!

Fun and Laughter is best in a social group setting. Do Not attempt Laughter alone. It is best served with friends. Get Crackin’ and Get Laughin’!

How to Prevent Data Loss from Hardware and Software Failures

If you want to ensure that none of your critical data is lost in the event of a hardware or software problem with your computer, there is only one way to do it. Back up, back up and back up your data as often as possible.

There are many different ways to ensure that your data is backed up, and as technology becomes available back up methods become much simpler. Take me for instance. Ten years ago, I backed up all of my files onto floppy disks. Eight years ago, I installed a tape drive and managed my back up process that way. Seven years ago, I automated the tape back up. When the tape drive failed, I moved to Zip disks. Tired of the clunky collection, I moved to CD backups.

Last year, I began using an Active Directory file server that not only backs up my files but also synchronizes them with what is currently on my hard drive several times a day.

I also make a DVD back up of my machine every month – just in case!

Let’s look for a moment at what a back up is. Backing up your computer files means that you are simply making a copy of your data that will be stored somewhere other than on your computer. You should always have a back up of at least your most important files, because should you experience a hardware or software problem you will still be able to access your files.

Many people don’t back up their files, because they don’t know what they need to back up. Start with those files that cannot easily be recreated. Then, move on to files to which you make frequent changes just in case you accidentally change something that you shouldn’t have. Back up your music collection – because this can be quite expensive to replace in the event of data loss.

Finally, you should back up your preference files and settings. And, make a copy of your registry. It may not be necessary to back these files up with every back up, but you should try to run a complete back up at least once a month.

In general, best practice is to back up your files at least monthly and more frequently if you access your files regularly. If you have the ability to establish auto-backup then by all means do it!

If you are a windows user, depending on the variety of the operating system that you are using it may be possible for you to set up automated back ups that can also be restored directly through the operating system from your CD, DVD or other storage device.

Quite honestly, it really doesn’t matter how you back up your files so long as you are backing up your files and storing them somewhere other than on your hard drive. Trust me when I tell you that if you have a back up – even an old one – it can save you a tremendous amount of aggravation and money in the future should you experience a virus related software problem, fire, flood or even a dropped hard drive.

Children’s Books - How to Add More Style to Your Writing - Part 1

When writing your children’s book, your should try to pay as much attention to style as you do to the construction of the story. Style is the elegance of the story, and without due regard to style, your book will be awkward and tedious to read.

The following are suggestions of ways to make your work more stylish.

Try to cut out superfluous descriptions in your creative writing. It is boring to read a long list of adjectives. In writing, less can be more. In particular, children respond well to simplicity.

When writing children’s books, try to keep your sentences short and succinct. Long winded sentences are boring for parents to read to their children and boring for children to read. Short sentences keep your story suspenseful and dramatic.

Be careful of using the words, ‘began to’ and ‘starts to’. It is much better to write, ‘he walked towards the forest’, rather than, ‘he started to walk towards the forest’. If you think about it, there’s no such action as starting to do something.

Take care that you do not overuse a word. In fact, you probably will not even realize that you are repetitively using a word in your writing. The reality is that once a word pops into your head it is liable to pop up twice more in the same paragraph. The best way to discover these errant words is by reading your work out loud. ‘Frightening’ written twice in the same sentence will then stick out like a flashing light.

If you’re writing about a ravine, try to think of other ways to say the same thing. This adds variety so that your writing is fresher. Instead of repeating ‘ravine’ in a paragraph, use ‘chasm’, ‘cliff’ and ‘gorge’. These words have similar meanings and you’ll expand your reader’s vocabulary.

The overuse of a word right through the manuscript is another problem. You’ll need to reread your work very carefully to locate your favorite words, but some are ‘well’, ‘then’, ‘so’ and ‘however’. When you find your favorite overused word, ruthlessly remove it by using the search feature in Microsoft Word.

Make up your own expressions in creative writing. Clichés such as ‘as pure as the driven snow’ and ‘short and sweet’ lose their impact over time and are mundane to read. Invent your own expressions for an exciting difference.

Be sure that there is absolute clarity in your writing. When you use ‘he/she’ and ‘they’, make sure it is clear to whom they are referring.

For example: Martha met Hillary at the shopping mall. She looked completely exhausted. In this example it is unclear if the word ‘she’ refers to Martha or Hillary.

The above are just a few examples of how you can keep your writing fresh and clear. Part two will give further examples of how to make your writing more stylish.

Data Recovery in Clean Room Labs

When you are evaluating possible companies for your data recovery needs, one of the most critical questions that can ask them is what type of clean room they have and if it meets Class-100 criteria. Class-10 is optimal, however Class-100 is the industry accepted standard.

So, what exactly is a clean room? Well, for one thing it is an environmentally controlled area which maintains a constant temperature and has a very strictly controlled level of humidity. The room will be lit from an external source, and there will be a very powerful ventilation system installed in order to remove any possible contaminants from the air.

There are three criteria that every clean room must exhibit in order to be considered acceptable:

1. No outside contaminants can be allowed into the controlled space.
2. None of the machines located in the clean room can result in the creation of contaminants.
3. If contaminants are found in the clean room, they must be immediately removed.

In order to keep the clean room free of contaminants, those who go into the space must wear protective clothing that prevents contamination.

Why is this it so important to maintain a clean room for data recovery work? Well, quite simply it is necessary to avoid the potential of introducing additional contamination to an already damaged media storage device or hard drive. This is particularly true for a device that has been damaged in a fire or flood.

This is because a damaged hard drive that is exposed to airborne contaminants can be rendered useless should the contaminants get onto the platters inside of the drive. If this happens, it will be nearly impossible for the drive head to work correctly and important data can be lost forever as a result.

If you are in need of data recovery services, you should definitely ask the companies that you are considering about their clean room technology. Ask how often their clean room is inspected and know that it should be inspected annually, at least. If a company is not willing to disclose the details of their clean room technology, you might want to consider working with one who does.

800 Tech is a leading data recovery provider, with a Class-100 inspected clean room that utilizes industry-leading technology in order to constantly monitor the quality of the clean room. All of the certified engineers and technicians are trained in clean room practices and wear appropriate clean room gear before ever coming into contact with your data storage device.

Don’t take chances with your data. You need to ensure the safety practices of anyone who will come in contact with your exposed data; otherwise you may end up losing any chance of recovering your lost data.

Now that you have an idea of what goes into maintaining a clean room, you probably have a better understanding of why data recovery is so costly for consumers. The price is definitely worth getting access to your lost data, and the better the technology the higher the chance that you will once again have access to your much needed data.

How to choose which data recovery company to use

Faced with every computer owner’s worst nightmare? Dealing with the reality of lost data? Frantic, because you just discovered that your most recent back up failed?

If you have experienced some type of physical damage to your hard drive, optical drive or other external media storage device there is a high likelihood that you are going to need the help of a professional data recovery service center.
The question you are probably asking right now is how exactly you should go about selecting the right data recovery center. Well, I am here to tell you that are some very specific things that you need to look out for. Unfortunately, not every company operates with the same appreciation for customer satisfaction and loyalty. Therefore, you really need to protect your interests by doing a careful investigation before allowing anyone to touch your damaged storage media device or hard drive,

So, what are these things that you need to investigate?

First, it is a good idea to do an internet search on data recovery providers in order to compare the claims made by the available providers. You should then look at the providers who offer the service you need and determine what price they will charge for recovery services.

But, don’t make a decision based upon their website claims. You will need to pick up the phone and contact each of the companies that you are considering. If you cannot find a phone number, then it’s a pretty good indication that this is not a company with which you should be working.

When you get a representative on the phone, ask them about their success rate and whether they are willing to guarantee their service. If a company promises you a 100% success rate, there is a good chance that they are not being entirely honest.

If you are satisfied with the success rate, ask questions about the price structure that the company uses and the type of equipment that they use for recovery purposes.

A good company with an excellent success rate and better than market pricing for their entirely guaranteed data recovery service is 800Tech.com. If you check out their service listing through their website, and call to speak with one of their certified technicians, you are going to find out that not only are the 800Tech prices competitive but they also don’t charge you until they can produce your lost data.

Data loss is stressful enough. You certainly don’t deserve to have the same disappointment from the company that you hire to recover your lost data. If you do your homework before selecting a company to help with your data recovery, you will not be caught paying more than necessary for your data recovery.

Scuba Diving - Equipment

All scuba diving equipment can be hired through a number of outlets and this may be a good way to try out various item before you decide to purchase your own.

When you start off diving you will probably hire some or almost all of the equipment but over time you will no doubt put together a kit of your own.

Basic Equipment
Diving Mask - make sure it fits well
Snorkel
Fins - must fit well
Suit - essential in colder climates, wet, semi-wet or dry
Weight belt and weights
Buoyancy compensator - get advice from you club
Watch
Depth gauge
Compass
Knife
Torch
Boots
Gloves
Whistle - great to use when you surface to attract attention
Catch bag

Hire or Buy
Tanks - Steel or aluminium. Both suffer from corrosion and need to be maintained. Steel being stronger than aluminium usually results in a lighter tank. Research has shown what a well maintained steel tank has a service life of 35 - 40 years or more, whereas an aluminium is considerably less, even as low as 15 - 20 years.
Regulator
There is a large range of regulators to choose from. Discuss the options with your club members. Visit a good dive shop that has knowledgable staff to talk you through the many makes and features. This is an expensive and extremely important piece of equipment, choose it carefully.

Optional
Dive computer - very accurate and a wide range is available. It is best to discuss a purchase like this with members of your dive club for advice and to discover any recommendation they may have. Always ask if they have any negative things to say about a specific model, you don’t want to make a purchase you will later be dissatisfied with.

Once you have purchased your own dive equipment make sure it is well looked after and maintained.

When best to hire
When travelling long distances to dives where you don’t want to lug all your own equipment along with you. Check out local hire facilities before arriving and book ahead of time to avoid being disappointed on arrival.

Love and Honor Your Body

It is interesting how sometimes we remember random things that people have said to us in life. One of the memories I have is of me sitting on a bench in a public place with my grandmother. She was telling me how fun it was to just sit and watch people. “Short ones, tall ones, fat ones, skinny ones, black ones, white ones. Just watch.” For some reason those words have stayed with me and I think of them often.

Last year while spending time walking through the trees I began to reflect on the size of the trees. There are a variety of species. Some are tall, short, round, thin, old, young, alive and dying. Do they compare themselves to each other? We can learn so many lessons from nature if we will be still and just listen, observe and reflect. Why is it that humans find this need to compare ourselves to each other? Why can we not just simply be as the trees, plants and animals?

Our body is a vessel for ’something’ much greater. Can you love and honor your body regardless of the size, color, age or whatever? I enjoyed listening to Eve Ensler’s book The Good Body as she speaks with different women about their bodies. There is an African woman that Eve talks with about her ‘boody.’ I absolutely love the response that the African woman gives her. She was a very wise woman. If you don’t mind listening to some straight forward, hardcore language it is definitely worth a listen to by the way.

When we look at most magazines, advertisements, celebrities, television or society there is an image of ‘perfect’ that is set in our consciousness. Why do we keep supporting this? We are ALL beautiful in our own way. We are all unique and if we weren’t then we wouldn’t be our Self. The universe is a creative one. So, why on earth should we be cookie cutter people?

Diversity is beautiful. If labels must be used…short, tall, fat, skinny, African, Asian, Indian, European, young, old, poor, rich, dressed in style or not…love and honor your body. You can honor your body in many ways and only you know what is best. Simply allow yourself to be You. Things are always changing. Just as the seasons change so do we.

We can love and honor our body no matter where we are along the journey or who we are. Here are a few ways to get you started:

Spend some quiet and contemplative time in nature.

Look at the trees or plants and reflect.

Nourish your body with whole foods.

Not comparing yourself to others.

Being true to yourself and not worrying about what others think.

Dressing in your own way.

Grey hair is beautiful…go natural and allow your wisdom to shine.

Enjoy a long warm bath, candles and some herb tea.

Enjoy a massage or special treatment.

When standing in front of the mirror, without judgement recognize and speak to your body about all that is beautiful.

Adorn a certain part of your body that you have not honored with jewelry, body art, clothing or a special gift to show appreciation.

Change your beliefs.

Think for yourself.

Support companies that value diversity. Whether it be age, race, size or ?

Remove yourself from an abusive relationship.

Do something that you have always wanted to.

Be creative in ways that you nourish your body. When you are walking down the street, people watching or at work maybe you will look at the beauty that goes much deeper. By loving and honoring the body may you be an example and an encourager to others. Have gratitude for the body that travels through the journey of life.

May we reflect on the words that stay with us through the years ‘for some reason’ and give thanks as well. Love and honor your body whether it is a short one, tall one, fat one, skinny one, black one, white one…no matter what.

Data Recovery

Recovering lost data is expensive. Regardless of whether you will attempt to recovery your data yourself, or send your hard drive out for recovery, the cost is quite prohibitive. The only way to guarantee that you will never require such a service is to continually make backup copies of your files and to store them securely. Even this is not really a guarantee, but it will provide you with the security of knowing that if you computer should crash or experience major hardware failures, your data can be recreated.

Data recovery is the process where lost data is recovered from broken, damaged or inaccessible media storage or hard drives. Data recovery can also be used to explain the process of restoring lost or deleted files on a hard drive.

There are many different data recovery software packages available to consumers who prefer to attempt restore data themselves. However, in most situations when a hard drive needs to be recovered, the only option is to send it to a service provider who is skilled at data restoration.

Here are some of the applications that you might want to try if attempting recovery on your own:

1. File Recovery for Windows by Active @ Data Recovery Services
2. File Recover™ 6.1 for Windows by PC Tools Software
3. GetDataBack by Runtime Software
4. Recover My Files by GetData
5. R-Undelete by R-tools Technology Inc.
6. Undelete 5 by Diskeeper Corporation
7. WinUndelete™ by WinRecovery Software

These software packages range in price and level of effectiveness.

Here are some useful things that you should know, courtesy of http://www.800tech.com:

1) Back up
As mentioned above, you should back up your data routinely. Having a back up copy of your data is one of the best defenses against lost data and the need for recovery in the first place.
2) Hard disk noise
Anytime you hear a churning or clicking noise inside of your computer it means trouble. You should seek assistance as soon as possible from an authorized repair center.
3) Do not attempt the Recovery
If you face any problem of data loss, do not attempt to recover data yourself unless you are an expert. Attempting the data recovery your self from the hard disk may further complicate the problems.

If you are in need of data recovery services, you should always work with a recovery center that guarantees their process. You should never be charged for unsuccessful data recovery, and you should be permitted to see your data before you are charged for the service. You should also be given an accurate quote for the total recovery cost before work begins.

A certified quality recovery service provider like 800Tech.com can help you with the process of recovering lost or damaged data at the best price and within the shortest amount of time in the industry.

You should never pay for unsuccessful recovery efforts, and also be sure that the company with whom you work guarantees the viability of your data in a contract prior to beginning work. Access to filenames is great, but what you need is content.

Understanding The Printer Toner

With a computer printer sitting on most office desks – both at home and at the office – most users have come to understand the role of the printer toner. But, in most cases, the extent of our knowledge is limited to knowing when and how the printer toner cartridge must be changed. And change it we do, without having any real understanding of how it functions within our printer.

Printer toner contains the ink – whether in liquid or powder form – that allows our computer documents to come to life so that we may hold them in our hand. When we choose the print option from our computer, a signal is sent to the printer, and ink – of all necessary colors – is released onto our papers reproducing exactly the document we constructed on our computer.

Each printer comes equipped with compatible printer toner. Depending on the volume with which we print, the printer toner will have to be changed periodically or more frequently. In this case, we purchase replacement printer toner – which in many a case can be an expensive proposition.

Of course when replacing the printer toner most people turn to the printer manufacturer. The specific printer toner that is compatible with your printer comes with a product number that will help you easily and conveniently locate a replacement. While this can be a more pricey option then purchasing a generic alternative, you are sure to get the quality that your printer needs. Lower quality printer toner, while always less expensive, can seriously clog and damage your printer.

That is not to say, however, that you can not find quality printer toner at reasonable prices. There are generic brands that offer superior quality at a more affordable cost. The key is ensuring that you are dealing with a reputable company that will stand behind the products they sell.

Printer toner is an inevitable part of printer ownership. Take your time to learn what works and what prices you can find so that you affordably address your printer needs.

For easy to understand, in depth information about printer toner visit our ezGuide 2 Printer.

It’s Just Another Day For You And Me In Paradise… a Biblical Musing Of Phil Collins Song

Every time I stay up for a night writing articles a song comes on the radio that inspires me to write on it. Phil touches on a subject that the prophets have touched on and I would like to have something to say and add to his song. I hope it makes you think next time you’re out on the streets where these people live.

She calls out to the man on the street
sir, can you help me?
Its cold and I’ve nowhere to sleep,
Is there somewhere you can tell me?

The girl is not asking for you to take her home, though if you have room next to your car in your warm garage she would be very happy to camp there. This lady is simply asking if you know of any shelters that might take her in. There are hundreds of men in my city like this. Jesus addressed this sort of person in the Good Samaritan

Luke 10:25-37

25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”
27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’[a] and ‘your neighbour as yourself.’”
28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”
29 But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbour?”
30 Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ 36 So which of these three do you think was neighbour to him who fell among the thieves?”
37 And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.”
Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

This is the same as this girl but let us watch what most people do.

He walks on, doesn’t look back
He pretends he can’t hear her
Starts to whistle as he crosses the street
Seems embarrassed to be there

This is like the two men in the parable. Jesus knew they existed and today unless you are giving spare change to the homeless beggars in your city he was talking about you also.

Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side.

You see the Levite even crossed the road to get away from the man.

When these people on the street ask you for a dollar next time, get out a dollar and give to them. You see they have been kicked out of their home and are on the streets through no money coming in, or addictions in their life.

But Phil tells you where you are.

Oh think twice, its another day for
You and me in paradise
Oh think twice, its just another day for you,
You and me in paradise

You have a warm bed with blankets, a warm shower each day, a place to wash clothes so that your clothes don’t get dirty and you have fresh food on the table three times a day. You live in paradise with your computer, your MP3 players and DVD’s and TV’s and all the modern comforts. You have a job, you have a life, and all they have is a cardboard sign.

I was fortunate I lived in a two bedroom apartment for really cheap rent so when a nice man asked me if he could live with me from the streets I took him in. Right now as I type at 8am in the morning he is having for himself a nice warm shower and he has access to washing powder and can change into clean clothes and he has his own bedroom and now contributes half of the rent as I pay all the bills.

Not all of you can take a person in but God calls you to have compassion.

Isaiah 58:6-7
6 “ Is this not the fast that I have chosen:

To loose the bonds of wickedness,

To undo the heavy burdens,

To let the oppressed go free,

And that you break every yoke?

7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,

And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;

When you see the naked, that you cover him,

And not hide yourself from your own flesh?

This says to share your food with the hungry. That means you don’t walk down the city street past all the men with cardboard signs, it means you approach one with a fresh sandwich and a drink.

This verse says to take the girl home. That you bring to your house those that are cast out. Doesn’t this lyric speak of a lady that is cast out?

You can tell from the lines on her face
You can see that she’s been there
Probably been moved on from every place
cos she didn’t fit in there

How can we call our countries Christian nations when we allow so many people to live in dire poverty on our city streets.

I was blessed by the Lord Jesus when he allowed me to become homeless for a couple of weeks. Then the Lord led me to stay in a homeless men’s hostel for six months. On the streets with those men and the people who ate there each day I came to have a love for the homeless and to understand their plight. Now I have my won government sponsored accommodation in Sydney for life and I can have compassion on the homeless.

When you see the naked, that you cover him,

When you see a man on the street with clothes that have not had a wash in months and are black with stains. God to a cheap store and buy him a new jumper. He will appreciate the new jumper and he’ll feel clean for a while. Better still, tell him your intention and take him with you.

And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
This is the man above:
He walks on, doesn’t look back
He pretends he can’t hear her,

Don’t look the other way. Don’t read the sign and toss your head and judge the person that has not got a house. Don’t be a priest of a Levite in the Good Samaritan but be the Good Samaritan and take the person home and give them a shower, change of clothes and a home cooked meal.

She calls out to the man on the street
He can see she’s been crying
She’s got blisters on the soles of her feet
Cant walk but she’s trying.

Isn’t there any compassion left in this world? Doesn’t mankind care anymore? People how can you sing praise and worship songs in church and then walk down the street and not bind up the hurting and the helpless. You want to give them a tract, give them a meal and give them your tract.
Zechariah had this to say:
Zechariah 7:9

9 “Thus says the LORD of hosts:

‘ Execute true justice,

Show mercy and compassion

Everyone to his brother.

You live in paradise dear reader, take some time and money and show some compassion on the poor that you know. We are all brothers and sisters, we all came of the Ark at one time, under one family. Don’t let people suffer on your streets, bring them a little joy each week.

Let me pray

Father I ask that you bless this reader and that they realise the full import of what I have had to share. I know I have a soft heart and I realise that I too was homeless for six months and so I have a cart to push in that area but Father open the eyes of the reader, that they live each day in paradise. Father teach them to have mercy as you have mercy. Teach them to be your Sons hands and your Sons mouth to the broken hearted in their city. In Jesus name I ask with thanksgiving.

Amen
