Why The Right MLM Opportunity Training Is A Must In The Internet Age

Let’s face it, with the advent of the internet, the business world is moving faster and faster. And the MLM world is no exception. In addition, the mlm opportunity training an organization receives must be able to keep up.

So what does this mean to you? Well, if you’re serious about success in network marketing today, you’ve got 2 choices: You can either continue doing mlm the slow old fashioned way (which worked decades ago) or you can educate yourself with mlm opportunity training that’s up-to-date with today’s hi-tech strategies and tactics.

So what can internet-age mlm training do for you? Well, just consider this:

1. Why spend hours at the mall handing out fliers or business cards when a single pay-per-click ad on Google can literally put you in front of 1000’s of people who are already looking for what you’ve got? (And no, it doesn’t have to be expensive.)

2. Why drive all over town to do 1, 2, or 3 one-on-one presentations a day in a noisy restaurant when you can legally email a full “presentation” to 100’s of prospects from home?

3. Why spend your hard-earned money on lousy biz op leads when you can generate your own endless free leads the same way the lead companies do? (Did you know you can even get them to pay you whether they join your business or not?)

4. Why waste time and energy trying to recruit uncle Bob who has no interest or business experience when you can build a downline of internet savvy entrepreneurs on auto-pilot?

Starting to get the picture?

OK, so where do you find this hi-tech mlm opportunity training? On the internet, of course. I’ve listed a few key words with definitions you can search for on Google to help you find the programs that are right for you.

1. Lead Capture Pages - Use these to “capture” the contact information of people who are looking online for your products or services and turn them into prospects.

2. Pay-per-click Advertising - Learn the right way to send people running to your lead capture pages. (Never send them to your company replicated web-site!)

3. Auto-responders - These send emails legally to your prospects and present your business for you 24/7 (and send money to your bank account).

4. Copywriting - (Not copyrighting) This is the secret million $ skill that shows you how to write ads that pull in prospects and letters that compel prospects to buy.

5. Domain Registration - Create website names and email addresses that present a professional image and magnetically attract prospects and customers right to you.

OK, here’s a little bit of irony for you. The best mlm business building tool is still the “3 foot rule”. No, not THAT 3 foot rule! The NEW 3 foot rule, the one that says:

“Whenever you sit down in front of your computer, you’re 3 feet away from the entire world”

So, do yourself a favor and take the time to get the mlm opportunity training you need. After all, you joined mlm for time and money freedom right? Now is your chance to put the internet to work for you and start enjoying the lifestyle you truly deserve.

Debt Help – Various Ways You Can Fix your Credit

One thing that most people face today is debt. It could be something as simple as your home or car or something more complex like credit cards and student loans. With all the options available, you might be wondering which is the best to take when it comes to lowering your debt and eventually becoming debt free.

The first thing to do is consider all your options. If you have a small amount of debt, consider a company that handles small debt consolidation or speak with the creditor directly about programs that can help you. Many companies now offer programs to people experiencing financial hardship or who need a little help paying off their bills.

If you have more debt and own a home, consider a refinance or home equity loan to consolidate bills and remove those high interest credit cards and balances. There are also companies that help with debt consolidation for people with a larger amount of debt. Consolidate student loans to lower interest rates and monthly payments. There are dozens of ways for you to be able to get out of debt and fix your credit.

The most important things to remember is to pay more than the minimum and to make sure that your payments are on time. The minimum balance usually is only enough to cover the finance charges on a credit card. A small portion of your balance depending on the APR on your credit card it may not even be enough to pay your finance charges. One of the best ways to get out from under debt is to make sure you are paying something towards the principle balance. The lower your principle balance on any debt the less interest you will carry and the quicker you can become debt free.

Sarbanes Oxley - IT Professionals and IT Consulting Scope of Work

Because the Sarbanes Oxley Act is so focused on the finance aspect of businesses, the IT consultant is often left wondering if there is any scope of SOX implementation work that requires the services of IT professionals.

In this article, I will briefly outline how the IT professional can make significant contributions to a SOX compliance project, and how you can go about searching for SOX-related jobs and expand your IT career in that direction.

First things first. SOX is all about internal controls over financial reporting. And we know that a high percentage of, if not all, financial data is stored, processed and managed by various computerized financial systems. Here is where the IT professional who has a strong background in computer security and information technology system controls coupled with an adequate understanding and appreciation of accounting will get a head start in landing that SOX job.

In other words, terms such as Inventory, General Ledger, Debits, Credits, the Accounting Cycle should not intimidate you. You will be the individual who has intimate knowledge of the workings of the financial applications system. And you had better be good at communicating with the relevant accounting officers, internal and external auditors when it comes to dissecting the control measures currently in place and how to improve upon them or maintain the status quo.

Let’s take an example of the sales process. A sale transaction is entered into the system. Are you able to identify the points in the system that authenticates the user and only allows those with the necessary privileges to enter the transaction? Do you know what happens next? What tables are updated? Are you competent enough to produce a trace file showing the logging of the transaction itself, and the relevant updates to debits and credits in the correct accounts? Can transactions be modified? By whom? Where are the Audit Trails? And so on.

From the previous paragraph, it’s very clear what tasks need to be performed on your part. Demonstrate this competency convincingly, and the job is yours. Your ability in identifying internal and external risks in the computing process is a valuable asset that all SOX implementation teams require. It is so difficult to find individuals who are suitably skilled in Finance and Information Technology, so this is your opportunity to break into the market. Competition for such job roles is surely there, but supply is limited.

We now come to how you can search for job openings. Go to Dice.com and search for the keyword “SOX” - it’s that simple. Dice.com is generally more effective than Monster.com because of its focus on tech-related opportunities. If you want a job which is more specific, then try to add keywords such as “compliance” or “IT governance” or “implementation”.

In conclusion, there are all kinds of IT professionals, of which the SOX type is only one of them. Are you the one? Answer yes if you have an interest in business processes and finance matters. One more thing - SOX implementations involve a lot of back and forth communications between various parties, so make sure you are up to that task too.

Head over to SarbanesOxleyNotes.com (http://www.sarbanesoxleynotes.com) for more SOX articles discussing all aspects of the SOX Act and its implementation.

Which Hosting Should You go For? Windows or Linux

Across the globe, mostly all web servers either run Windows or Linux. But, what difference does it make to you?

Simple. They both have their own pros and cons. Depending on your needs, you should choose which hosting to implement.

Linux is suitable for low cost economic hosting. This hosting is becoming more and more popular as it can now support more and more technologies. But even today, if you web site contains ASPs, I would recommend a windows platform for you. To some it may seem that Windows is a better option, but it has its own drawbacks too and also comes at a heavier price.

Additionally, with Linux your database solutions are cheaper as MySQL works better and naturally on a linux platform, while for windows solutions MS-SQL is the desired choice. While MySQL is free, you need to pay extra for MS-SQL. Also if you are programming in .NET and ASP .NET then you will have to choose Windows hosting.

But ASP is not the only scripting language. Perl, PHP, CGI, Python are all scripting languages which you can implement most effectively on a linux platform.

Don’t buy into the paid advertising that Microsoft is putting out everywhere without considering it carefully. If you are large enterprise and running a network with over 100 clients with solutions designed to work better with Microsoft Windows servers, then it is a different issue. For most of us, looking to put up a reliable web site, I would highly recommend windows.

As a solution provider we keep the same margins on both linux and windows. Our net billing is lower by selling a linux solution, yet we recommend it whole heartedly, because I believe that the customer’s benefit and value come first.

You can get reliable Linux and Windows web hosting at Sigel WebSolutions.

P.S. If you are hiring a web developer, ask him if s/he really needs a windows hosting. If not, it would be wiser decision to choose Linux. It would work out more cost effective for you.

Debt Help – Credit Cards Getting Out of Debt with High Interest Credit Cards

Credit cards are for many the biggest problem they have with debt. High interest rate, late charges, over limit charges, finance charges and fees all add up and can make paying off even a small balance difficult. If you are struggling with credit card, debt there is debt help.

Here are some steps to help you on your way to getting out of high interest credit card debt.

* Gather the most recent statements from your credit cards
* Take a look at the various credit cards
* If you can transfer, balances from higher interest credit cards to lower interest credit cards. This will do two things, one consolidate bills and create a lower payment.
* If possible, consider home equity loans or refinance options if you own your home. Use the money to pay off the high interest credit cards. Refinance options and home equity loans usually have lower interest rates and you consolidate into a single bill.
* Credit card consolidation companies, these companies may or may not charge you a fee to consolidate all your credit card or other debts into a single lump payment. You pay them they pay everyone else.

These are some of the ways you can use to get out from high interest credit card debt. If you have student loan, debts consider consolidation. You may be able to consolidate through several companies in order to get the best deal. No matter what method you choose to help get yourself out of debt make sure that payments are in full and on time. If necessary split payments up paying some each paycheck if necessary to help defray some of the cost depending on the amount of debt you are trying to handle and how long you are looking at paying for.

How are We? In the Stream of Communications!

INDEED, there are 3 essential tools for communication, between people:

1. PATIENCE - TIME - INVEST INTO LISTENING

2. ACKNOWLEDGE WHAT YOU HEAR - BE AWARE, BE AWAKE AND BE ALERT, ( I cal this the special ‘a” formula)

3. EXPRESS YOURSELF - YOUR THINKING, YOUR FEELINGS AND YOUR FEEDBACK

We become stronger, better and much more tuned into the relationships we develop in the course of our lives, when we follow the 3 essential steps and why so?

1. We connect better

2. We understand deeper

3. We get more knowledge as we grow with the information or the experience presented to us.

And it all starts with our childhood. The habits we form with our parents, their behavior, the allowance to express and release and most importantly the time when others listen to what we have to say.

We are all so different and that is a great thing. Can you imagine if we were all alike, the same looks, the same skills and the same dreams. It wouldn’t work.

We can learn how to care and love and appreciate and like others and understand them.

Communicating in the fashion we choose, with the technology we have, and the time we devote to it, is essential and it is a must.

Good relationships and solid lasting relationships are the tall buildings designed using the foundation of good and long and meaningful communications.

Do you remember? not long ago we had no cell phones and as I recall we were still communicating and had amazing relationships. Today, life is easier. We can connect and talk to anybody using our cell phones.

Do we take them for granted? The cell phone. Do we use this wonderful tool for just small talk? Do we use it to pass time? Do we use it to purchase a certain product or tickets to an event? Do we place a call to find a cheper airline ticket to go somewhere? I guess all of the above and more.

The cell phone was a wonderful discovery. Let’s give it a very special recognition.

Call your best friend who moved away. Call your parents more often. Place a surprise call to your college kids just because it’s a Tuesday. Call your love and tell them that they are so so special to you. Call your neighbor and ask him/her over for coffee. Call your best friend and ask them, is there anything I can do for you? And so on and so on.

Communciate, converse and never stop………..Life is all about that fine thread, the continuation of a dream, a goal, a purpose and a smile.

How we become when we communicate? More confident, more understanding, more efficient and the choices we make speak out loud and clear as our soft voices echo “I love my life!!!! and I cherish the time I devote to communications and connecting with others” The results are truly amazing.

Music - Medicine For The Heart

The power of music to integrate and cure. . . is quite fundamental. It is the profoundest nonchemical medication. - Oliver Sacks “Awakenings”

Music as a healing force goes back several centuries. Apollo was worshipped by the Greeks as the god of both music and medicine. Healing and sound were considered a highly developed sacred science in the Egyptian and Greek education systems. Soon after World War I and World War II, community musicians of all types, both amateur and professional, serenaded veterans, suffering both physical and emotional trauma from the wars. The medical profession is now embracing the value of music in the healing or palliative care of a wide variety of patients: the chronically or terminally ill, the disabled, the neurologically impaired, and the mentally challenged. Music therapy programs are popping up in hospitals and treatment centers around the country.

Heart disease is the primary cause of death in the United States. Those who suffer from heart disease either die prematurely or suffer a marked decrease in quality of life. Increasing evidence is proving that music is soothing for the heart. Marconato and collegues reported in the Arq Bras Cardiol. in 2001, decreased stress levels and increased personal satisfaction, higher consumption of fiber-rich food, lower cholesterol intake, and a better perspective on life in people on receptive music therapy . White in the American Journal of Critical Care in 1999 showed that in patients with an acute heart attack, music therapy was associated with reductions in heart rate, respiratory rate, and myocardial oxygen demand. Guzzetta went further and reported in Heart Lung in 1989, that the incidence of cardiac complications was found to be lower in patients admitted to the coronary care unit with a presumptive diagnosis of heart attack, if they were subjected to music and relaxation therapy. Thorgaard and associates reported in the European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing in 2004 that specially selected music had a positive effect on the well being of patients and their opinion on the sound environment during invasive cardiac procedures. Other studies have demonstrated health benefits of music during and after cardiac surgery.

Music has other benefits too. “Simply put, music can heal people.” — Senator Harry Reid, Nevada. As a therapeutic modality, music interventions are able to promote wellness, manage stress, combat depression, alleviate pain, relax or sedate, express feelings, enhance memory, improve communication, and promote physical rehabilitation. Therapeutic music enhances an individual’s self-awareness and spiritual growth, brightens their perspective on life and this results in increasing his or her quality of life

German author, Johann G. Seume expressed, “Music is the key to the female heart.” Love is intimately connected to music. Henry Ward Beecher (1813-87), American clergyman sang, “Of all the music that reaches farthest into heaven, it is the beating of a loving heart.” Music helps conquer loneliness. Lawrence Pat Conroy, said,” Without music, life is a journey through a desert.” Music can help combat depression and anxiety. George Eliot (1819-80), British writer announced, “There is no feeling, except the extremes of fear and grief, that does not find relief in music.” Music has its spiritual benefits too. Every religion has incorporated music in its fabric. Basketball coach, Red Auerbach, who was elected to the basketball hall of fame in 1969, preached, “Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” Music helps laborers lessen their burden and helps their time pass faster. It also acts as an uniting force in all aspects of life.

Musical therapist and teacher , Pastor Hal A. Lingerman, said, “Just as certain selections of music will nourish your physical body and your emotional layer, so other musical works will bring greater health to your mind.” And as he correctly remarked, not all music is created equal. Several studies have shown that relaxing music (Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart) results in a significant reduction of heart rate and also a significant reduction of heart rate variability, both benefitting the heart. The human heart rate tends to synchronize with the tempo of the music. Fast tempos drive up heartbeats, breathing and blood pressure, and may be detrimental to the cardiovascular system. Enjoy slower tempo music and relax - and as the American writer, Henry Miller penned, “Music is a beautiful opiate, if you don’t take it too seriously.”

Guitarist Frank Zappa, winner of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997 said, “Remember, information is not knowledge; knowledge is not wisdom; wisdom is not truth; truth is not beauty; beauty is not love; love is not music; music is the best.“ Integrate music into your daily life regimen. It will enhance your life. And more importantly, it may help soothe and even heal your heart. So do not be surprised if your doctor says, ”Listen to two slow classical tunes and call me in the morning.”

Backing Up Your Web Sites - Part 1

Natural and unnatural or man-made disasters happen every day, around the clock, somewhere. They can come in the forms of hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, flooding, fire, power surges and failure, destructive computer attacks and viruses / bugs, etc. And regardless of the cause, the results can be the same – devastating.

In the online world, this devastation could literally happen within seconds. One second you can have a web site and the next … zilch, nada, nothing, all gone. If you don’t make necessary backups, you can wave goodbye to your websites, your databases, your scripts, your video clips and everything else that you’ve spent so much time building, amassing, perfecting.

Online Survival Plan Checklist

In order to be prepared for nearly any type of disaster – be it natural, man-made or any – you need to have some sort of a survival and recovery plan in place. That way, if you are prepared, then you will be more than able to deal with anything that happens.

To begin planning and preparing ahead for any type of disaster, you first need to study your web site operations, taking in-depth notes in a good 3-ring binder for handy reference in the case of disasters. Among the information you’ll need to review is this handy checklist of items:

How you can handle your operations without your equipment and regular electronic files.

  • How long it will normally take to repair related hardware, such as your computer equipment or your hosting server.
  • What your business can do to get through the difficult transition to make ends meet until your equipment and backup data is available once again.
  • What your potential risks for disaster normally are and strive to minimize what you can. Example, you cannot control weather, but you can help combat power outages with backup power supplies and stored data on site that can be retrieved very quickly and easily, like on a mobile hard drive.
  • What you can do to minimize the negative effects of a disaster. For example, you can email your customers or clients to explain to them what had happened.
  • The contact information you have for your recovery help. Make sure you have phone numbers, email, etc. all in one handy place so that you can quickly call to place a work order or drop off your equipment for servicing or have your web site files shifted to a new server.
  • Check your backup files on a regular basis to make sure they are being stored properly and work for you upon reloading. You don’t want to wait until disaster strikes to find out your backup files aren’t formatted correctly and hence are not able to work with your systems.

So do like the Boy Scouts of America. “Be prepared!”

What is Fluorescent Lighting?

Understanding how fluorescent light tubes work begins with a basic understanding of how light is produced. The basic unit of light is the light photon, which is released by an atom when its electrons become energized. As you may know, electrons are negatively charged particles that orbit around an atom’s positively charged nucleus. Electrons have different levels of energy, and move when energy is gained or lost by the atom. When heat passes energy to an atom, electrons quickly shift to another orbital, and almost instantaneously jump back to their original positions. As the return jump takes place, extra energy can be released in the form of a light photon, thus creating light.

We have all heard that fluorescent bulbs are more efficient than incandescent ones, but why? Fluorescent bulbs utilize a more energy efficient process of producing the light that we see. The main difference between incandescent lighting and fluorescent lighting is in the process of stimulating the atoms. Incandescent light bulbs excite atoms through the introduction of heat, resulting in an excess of unused heat energy. Fluorescent light bulbs, on the other hand, utilize a chemical reaction to excite atoms without the same excess heat energy. Both types of bulbs create ultraviolet light, which is not visible to humans. But only fluorescent bulbs utilize a substance that converts the ultraviolet light to visible light, resulting in less wasted energy.

An ordinary fluorescent lamp is a tube shaped glass shell with an electrode on each end for connecting to the electrical source. Phosphor powder lines the inside of the tube, and a small amount of mercury and an inert gas are contained within it. When current flows to and between the electrodes, electrons travel the length of the tube, creating energy that converts part of the mercury to a gas. As some of the moving atoms and electrons make contact with the mercury atoms, electrons become excited, jump to a new orbital, and emit light photons as they return to the original orbital.

However, the light created by this chemical reaction is mostly in the ultraviolet range, which again is not comprehended by the human eye. The phosphor powder lining the fluorescent lamp serves the important purpose of converting the light to visible light. When the light photons created from the chemical reaction collide with a phosphor, the energy excites the phosphor’s electrons, thus emitting visible light. Phosphors are the reason for the white light we typically see from fluorescent lights.

The popularity of fluorescent lighting is on the rise as consumers are becoming more environmentally conscious and are looking for energy saving solutions. Once widespread mainly in large office buildings and schools, the fluorescent bulb is now manufactured with a standard bulb base making it compatible with more common home light fixtures.

Hearts in All the Right Places

When it comes to matters of the heart the above quote rings true for all of us. When one door closes in our lives it is often difficult to turn our focus away from the hurt and pain of that closed door and look for the open door.

During these spring months we often celebrate new beginnings and those we love in our lives, I ask that you turn your light of love onto your own heart. Let your light shine inwardly and embrace all that the Universe has to offer you in regards to love and matters of the heart. I often say that sometimes the Universe will open only a window and not an entire door! This allows us to not have to look too closely or too hard to find the opening in our life path.

Many of us will bang and kick on the closed door, until we are exhausted, trying to get it to open back up. Some of us will insist that the door is not really closed but just stuck and perhaps if we were to oil the hinges, try everything differently, that the door will reopen. And then there are humans who will go as far to believe that we have the wrong key, and begin to search everywhere to reopen the door looking for someone or something to make the situation different. And very few are successful in their attempts, and the pain, sadness, and guilt of the closed door often leaves us feeling very vulnerable. The Universe would not be so cruel as to close one door without opening another.

A closed door also brings up feelings of fear because it mean change and change is not something most people embrace. “In fact the only thing that does like change is a wet baby!” The change may even be one we are unable to control. For many of us change also implies that we will have to sacrifice something that has value for us. Even with knowledge that there may be a new door that has opened, we do not trust what the change will bring. The old door may have held many painful experiences but if nothing else they were familiar. The newly opened door may feel uncertain because we do not know exactly where that door will lead. So even if we have accepted the closed door we often do not run through it but instead park ourselves in front of it as we peek around the door frame to see what might be there.

So you ask? What does that have to do with our hearts? EVERYTHING! So many of us pray for change yet change is so frightening to us. I wonder why then, when without change we could never truly manifest what we want. I wonder why spiritual beings have so little trust in the Universe that will love them enough to provide abundant support. And I wonder why we insist on denying the core and essence of our being and instead become willing victims to circumstances that are within our means to change. We are all children of the Source that gave us everything at the moment of creation.

MOVE ON!

So here’s how we begin to embrace and act upon whom we already are. When a door closes, GET OVER IT! When the relationship ends there is a Divine purpose for its ending. MOVE ON! You are so fortunate to be guided from what did not work for you to what is waiting for you that will be what you need. GET OVER IT! Embrace the opportunity to have been exposed to that type of relationship and know more clearly what you want in the next relationship and what you do not want. GET OVER IT! And shout the following word at the top of your lungs, NEXT! The only thing that has been lost (besides your time) is your limited belief structure about yourself, your worthiness and your right to everything great. Get ready for growth, healing and expansion!

Here’s how:
1) Focus on the solution, not the problem.
2) Release the illusion to the Universe, “there is no thought that is greater than what you are.”
3) Trust in the fact that all negatives are a positive!
4) Choose a new path with all of its excitement!
5) Know you are never alone. Your true being is always present as are the answers.
6) The open door is the answer to your desires to experience more from life.

We are always being divinely guided, even in matters of the heart.
Affirm the following daily twenty times per day:

“I release all limitations and bring into my life my perfect companion. I am open to this person NOW from any source. Thank you.”
