When To Get Payment Protection

If you have a credit card, then it is likely that you were offered or took out payment protection on the card. Although many people take out this insurance, there are few people who can benefit from it, and often you are just wasting money by having it. However, there are people who can benefit from the insurance and should take it out. If you are unsure about whether or not you should get payment protection insurance, then here are some tips to help you decide.

What is Payment Protection Insurance?

Payment Protection Insurance, or PPI, is an insurance offered on credit cards or loans to cover your repayments should you not be able to make them. You are usually covered for unemployment, sickness and injury that prevent you from working. Your payments can be paid for anything up to 1 year, by which time your balance might well have been fully paid off.

Costs of PPI

Although PPI might sound like a good idea, it does cost quite a lot of money. It is usually charged as a percentage of your balance, meaning that when your balance is low you don’t feel the cost. However, when your debt is high the amount can be large, but you might not notice it amongst all the other transactions on the card.

Levels of cover

Although PPI can help some people, in general the level of cover offered is very poor. There are very strict criteria that need to be met in order for you to make a claim, and so many people find they are ineligible. If you are self-employed then stay away from PPI, because it is very unlikely that you will be able to claim the unemployment benefits.

Who is PPI right for?

Although PPI has some problems, there are people that should consider taking it out. These include people who are prone to illness, or who regularly engage in sports or other high-risk activities. PPI will cover you if you are ill or injured and unable to work, so if you think this is a possibility then consider getting PPI.

Alternatives

If you do consider getting PPI, then you should also look at the alternatives available, most of which are cheaper than the insurance offered by your card issuer. One option is to take out a stand-alone PPI policy from an independent company. These policies are usually a fixed amount and are not dependent on your balance, and are a lot cheaper than regular PPI policies. Also, you should look into whether you are covered for the terms of PPI under other insurance that you currently have, such as health, liability or company insurance. If you look at all the alternatives, then you should be able to find a PPI package that is cost-effective and gives you the cover that you require.

Lactagen Offers 38 Day Program To Solve Lactose Intolerance - Will Lactagen Work For You?

So what is Lactose intolerance? A simple Google search defined it as a condition in which the body loses it’s natural ability to produce lactase, which is an enzyme needed to properly metabolize lactose. The inability for the body to breakdown lactase has some very unpleasant side effects, discomfort and embarrassment to name just a few. Until now a person who suffered from lactose intolerance had one or two choices; avoid dairy altogether, which is not recommended due to the fact that the body needs certain vitamins and minerals found in dairy to remain healthy or your stuck carrying around a bottle of those pills, which you have to choke down before ingesting any dairy. Imagine just for a moment if you could eat that cheesecake, pizza or just have cereal for breakfast again, all without suffering from those unpleasant symptoms normally associated with lactose intolerance. I know it seems impossible but there is now a solution.

Lactagen is a unique easy to follow 38 day program which was specifically designed to recondition your body, enabling it to process dairy naturally. This proprietary blend of minerals and sugars are dissolved in a water-soluble powder and is then taken with certain meals during the 38-day period. And the best part is once the program has been successfully completed you will no longer need those lactose pills. You will once again have the freedom to enjoy those once dreaded dairy products that your body desperately needs to remain healthy.

Are there other treatments for lactose intolerance? Sure there are, however these treatments only ease the discomfort and are usually only temporary “fixes” and must be taken each and every time a person suffering from lactose intolerance consumes dairy. These products simply offer short-term solutions and are not very convenient.

Not being a scientist myself, I will try not to bore you with the science of it. Basically the Lactagen Program is designed to return the digestive system back to a normal state, essentially reversing the damage inflicted to your large intestine. The program consists of three phases. The first phase of the program is meant to sooth any existing irritation and inflammation caused by lactose intolerance. Secondly, It retrains the microflora found in your large intestine to break down undigested lactose. With the microflora now retrained and capable of digesting dairy products, the third phase slowly reintroduces dairy back into your everyday diet.

There are without a doubt sceptical people out there reading this and really who could fault your scepticism. Living with lactose intolerance and suffering from the symptoms for as long as you have, who wouldn’t be wary when some company makes the claims that Lactagen is making. Most lactose intolerance sufferers have simply given up hope that some magical cure-all elixir actually exists and who could blame you. But before you pass judgement on this company you should know that before Lactagen released it’s proprietary blend of minerals and sugars to the general public it was put through ten years and thousands of hours of research and development. Since its introduction to the marketplace the Lactagen program is responsible for thousands of happy customers who have never experienced another symptom of lactose intolerance after successfully completing the 38 day program. With thousands of satisfied and symptom free customers and a rock solid 100% money back guarantee you simply cannot afford not to try the Lactagen 38 day program.

Whether the claims made by Lactagen are true or false, the fact remains that thousands of people have successfully completed the Lactagen 38 day program and are now living symptom free from lactose intolerance. When a product is introduced to the marketplace and it turns out to be a scam, in time it is usually found out. However, when thousands of people have successfully completed the Lactagen 38 day program are now enjoying dairy once again, it makes a powerful statement for Lactagen and their successful 38 day program.

So You Are In a Sales Slump, How Do You Get Out It?

Everybody who is in sales at one point or another has gone through sales slump. If you find yourself going through a sales slump you may be wondering how to get out of this slump and how I get out of it now.

One of the biggest causes of the sales slump is that there are peaks and valleys in the whole sales process. When you do not currently have a lot of hot prospects you have more time to prospect and to find companies or people to sell to. When you have a lot on your plate and you are putting out a lot of fires and trying to close deals than you typically neglect the prospecting part because you are so busy.

So how do you get out of the sales slump? The best answer is not to get one in the first place sounds simple right…well if you are depending on cold calling for all of your prospects than it is not so simple but if you have a steady stream of prospects that are contacting you, a strong referral base, customers that are pleased with your product or service is not as difficult as you think.

If you are playing the cold calling game to find all your prospects than you will continually be in an up-and-down cycle and the chances of going into a sales slump are a lot greater. Please understand that I’m not saying that you cannot find any prospects from cold calls but if you want to make a career out of sales your best bet is to figure out a way to eliminate cold calling.

If you are currently in a sales slump go back over the last three, six, or twelve months and look at your activity. Chances are if you are cold calling for all of your prospects than there will be a period of time in which you were not able to prospect.

If you no longer have to cold call than you would be like Tony Gwynn used to be when he played baseball, slump proof.

Did you know that even the most successful cold callers only have a 2% success rate while cold calling? You know that cold calling prospecting is one of the least effective ways to find new prospects? Go to http://www.sickandtiredofcoldcalling.com where you will get a free 5 part e-course to eliminate cold calling out of your life.

India Travel - India Travel Guide & India Travel Tips

In order to experience your holiday to India a dream come true, please read the following India travel tips:

Do some background reading before travel to India, so that your visit becomes a great experience, something you had never dream could happen to you.

Do not be worried about living conditions in India. The 5-star and 4-star hotels are of international standards and the soothe and cooking they offer compare with any in the world. The deluxe and palace hotels are a world apart and many have been accorded ‘foremost hotels of the world’ status. The 3-star hotels are there for the medium budget traveler, and 1-star and 2-star hotels, Travelers lodges, Tourist Bungalows, Holiday Homes, Youth hostels, YMCA/YWCA’s are for those with small budgets.

Your India travel arrangements should be made well in advance, particularly if you are traveling between October- March (high tourist season) and May- June, the Indian holiday season. Travel amenities are limited in relation to demand so prior bookings are a must.

English is spoken at almost all tourist centers, but you can also ask for us to book Government-trained and approved guides who also speak German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Italian or Russian. Tour guides will help you not only in your sightseeing, but also help you understand India better.

Indians are friendly and gracious people, if they gaze at you, do not consider it rude, it is only a matter of interest. A tourist need never be lost in India; most people are more than willing to go out of their way to guide you to your destination.

As with any foreign destination, the tourist is advised to drink bottled water, bottled drinks, coffee or tea. Most premier hotels have their own filtration system.

Keep away from eating spicy food all at one time soon after you arrive in India. Take one Indian dish only with each meal and ask the waiter to cut down on the chilies. Within a few days your system will get used to Indian food, one of the most delicious of world cuisine. It is sensible to stick to only cooked foods and to eat fresh fruits whose skin you can peel off or remove.

Bring your own medicines, since all medications in India are locally manufactured and you may not find the same brand names. There are very good druggists and doctors everywhere, and they can advise on substitutes. If the requirement arises, ask your hotel to advocate a doctor.

Do not forget to remove your footwear when visiting a place of worship or mausoleum. Also some temples do not permit any leather articles at all on their premises. Certain areas of temples are not open to Non-Hindus.

It is safe to travel in India, as you will find out for yourself. Even if you read of some trouble in any town or region, do not be discouraged, since most of India is safe at all times.

Create And Send HTML Email Newsletters

An Introduction To Email Newsletters

Email newsletters are being recognized as a great way to enhance sales. Just what are newsletters? They are regular snippets of information that are delivered to you via email. These snippets of information can be on any topic on the planet. As long as someone wants the information, there is potential for an Email newsletter.

Newsletter data has revealed many positive aspects of email newsletters. If you want to create and send an HTML email newsletter, you should know of this information. Research shows that if you use newsletters properly, 10% of subscribers can be turned into customers. Now that is information that I would gladly digest.

HTML Email Newsletters

There are two types of email newsletters. One type is based on text and the other type on HTML (Hyper text markup language). Both these types of newsletters have their own positives and negatives. Ultimately which newsletter you decide to create depends on the ultimate product and the prospects for that product. Remember one thing however, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”

The graphic possibilities of HTML lend it to suit prospects that are visually attracted. Some products just cannot be promoted through text. They require the power of HTML to bring out their good features. This is the reason for the recent popularity of HTML email newsletters. Face it you can’t advertise aesthetically appealing products through text newsletters.

How To Create And Send That Killer HTML Newsletter

If you want to register new subscribers, make it easy for them to opt into your HTML newsletter. Remove the informational hurdles. Ask for as little information as is necessary for subscribing prospects to your newsletter. In most cases, all you need is the email address. That, along with the assurance of complete security and non-sharing of email addresses ought to get you subscribers.

Make it easy for subscribers to share your email newsletter with friends and associates. You can do this by simply adding a send-to-a-friend link in your newsletter.

Check out your competition. Sign into the competition’s newsletter. Find the gaps in their product and/or newsletter and fill those gaps. What better way to get that leap ahead.

Content Is King

Content is king. This is true of HTML email newsletters as anywhere else. When you create and send that HTML email newsletter, remember to fill it with good content. Keep it short and simple. Provide useful content. If there is too much content for one newsletter break it up into more than one.

Good Subject Lines

Good subject lines are sometimes the difference between spam and good reading. Write a subject line that encourages your reader to read the newsletter. Think of all the items in your email’s trash can that have a bad subject line.

Opt-In And Opt-Out

Never send newsletters to those who have not asked for them. Include an opt-out link with every email.

When you create and send HTML email newsletters, keep in mind that subscribers want useful information in an easy to read format. HTML email newsletters that allow you to monitor click through and therefore effectiveness are a boon to small businesses everywhere. With a little effort, this medium delivers you the benefits that a much more expensive campaign would normally. Create and send HTML email newsletters to hear the cash registers jingling all the way to the bank.

Extra Money - Home Care Services

If you want to earn some extra money to contribute to the family expenses and you are one of those enterprising Moms who have medical experience and some inclinations towards running a business of your own, then having a home based business that would still give you ample time to take care of the kids would be a good idea for you.

A growing number of patients who are recovering at home after their confinement in the hospital need special care from people with medical background. This could be a good opportunity for you to earn extra income without really having to work all day away from home.

How does one set up a home health services business and what are services that you could offer? Depending on your educational background and work experiences as a healthcare professional, there are many things that you can offer to patients who do not want to stay longer in the hospital. For patients who would prefer to stay at home where they can be closer to their family while recuperating, you can always offer services such as nursing care, patient education and physical therapy. If you are a registered nurse, you should not find it difficult to find clients that would need nursing care in the comforts of their homes.

If you want to work part time, it would be a good idea to find a partner who is willing to take full shift taking care of the patient so that you can still have enough time for your kids. On the other hand, if you are a physical therapist, engaging in home health services could be very lucrative for you. You would not need to spend more than a couple of hours with the patient each day to help him or her exercise. This could give you more time to have more than 1 patient and still have time for your kids at home.

Believing in good balanced diet, taking vitamins and minerals. Daily exercise, yoga, stretching, breathing exercises, drinking enough water, meditation, relaxation, positive thinking, and trying to be happy.

Annual Travel Insurance - Is It Enough?

In theory an annual travel insurance policy sounds great, you pay a one-off fee and all your journeys are covered for the next 12 months. For most standard journeys this is fine but if you delve deeper into the conditions of your policy you may find the level of cover is not as comprehensive as first appears.

Today people travel for a wide range of reasons and the travel insurance policies available to you have evolved to meet the more varied demand for appropriate cover. The nature of your travel and the activities you have planned upon your arrival now have a huge impact in determining which travel insurance policy is right for you. In this guide we will look at which policies are suitable for certain types of travel.

If you are planning to take a winter holiday you may want to consider taking out winter sports insurance. This form of insurance provides cover for activities such as skiing and snowboarding, covering both injuries and the loss or damage of sports equipment. Fewer than 60 countries have a reciprocal healthcare agreement with the UK and without adequate cover a broken leg in Switzerland could cost you around £25,000.

If your holiday is likely to involve you taking part in adventure activities such as bungee jumping or white-water rafting it would be advisable to take out a form of adventure holiday insurance. Many of these adventure activities may be exempt from a traditional travel insurance policy so failing to take out appropriate cover could mean you facing a hefty bill should something go wrong. When purchasing adventure holiday insurance always ensure your planned activities are covered by the policy.

A backpacking holiday is another activity that can require a specialised policy. Backpackers insurance is a form of long term insurance that can last up to 18 months. Policies also cover you when working abroad which may be necessary when travelling for a long period of time, particularly for students. When taking out backpackers insurance it is essential to check that all the countries you plan to visit are covered by the policy, particularly if you are travelling to countries where your EHIC card is not valid. Also remember that some third world or war-torn countries may not be covered.

If your work requires you to travel abroad you should consider taking out business insurance. This type of policy can cover business equipment such as laptops and PDAs and business documents. Some policies also cover the travel expenses if you are taken ill and another member of staff has to fly out and take your place. Business insurance also covers you for personal injury and liability, something that insurance provided by your employer may not.

Many standard insurance policies have an upper age limit (usually this is 65). Once you breach this limit travel insurance can become more expensive as you are considered a higher risk. In this situation you should seek insurance from providers who specialise in cheap travel insurance for the over 65s. Regardless of your age if you have any pre-existing medical conditions it is vital to let your insurance company know before buying the insurance. Such a condition is likely to increase the cost of your policy but it is a small price to pay; if you fail to declare any medical issues your insurance policy is unlikely to cover you and this could result in a large bill for any medical treatment.

As you can see the type of travel insurance you need varies wildly depending on the nature of your journey. In addition to choosing the correct type of policy also remember to check your travel insurance covers all the basics including medical expenses, loss of luggage, money and passports, repatriation costs, canceled or delayed flights and damage to third parties.

When looking to save money on your travel insurance remember that choosing the correct policy is just as important and a few extra pounds could save you thousands.

If you are searching for cheap travel insurance be sure to compare policies online. By searching hundreds of policies instantly you can get a great deal on your travel insurance.

Illegal Immigrant Tarriff

Illegal immigration has become the hot potato subject of the year. Politicians dodge the issue. Reporters wax philosophical on the plight of these poor individuals. And a few conservatives propose purchasing the great wall of China and stringing it along or southern border. On this issue I think everyone is nuts.

First let me state the obvious that I think most Americans know in their gutts. Bush is right: these are hard working and generally honest people who deserve our respect and compassion. But he is wrong to propose any type of amnesty. We can’t lock them all up and we can’t ship them all back either. It’s a real pickle.

But I have a solution. I call it Immigrant Terriffs. When a product is imported from a country determined to have an unfair advantage over our local production the government often levies a tarriff to level the playing field. We need to do this with immigration. Illegal immigrants accept a lower wage for work Americans hesitate to do. This benefits consumers by decreasing the cost of goods but harms legal workers who find their wages cut because of this influx of willing labor. Since most consumers are also workers we find that the only benefit is to business owners, the retired, and individuals in fields in which illegal immigrants do not compete. The most effected fields are the construction trades and farming where illegal workers are accepted as a necessary evil. An Immigrant Tarriff would force the illegal immigrants wages up along with those in the entire trade, essentially raising the wages of legal employees and making them more appealing to employers.

First the government should guarantee that all immigrants who voluntarily register with INS will not be deported. They will receive some form of temporary residency card which permits them to live and work in the U.S. for a limited time. They will have to pay a fee, preferably by payroll deduction and report to the INS regularly. They must also submit to fingerprinting and DNA testing. And of course they would have to file tax returns and pay social security just like the rest of us. Anyone who does not comply should be deported.

The Immigrant Tarriff must be substantial enough to compensate for the financial burdens illegal immigrants force on the U.S. including such costs as hospitalization, school tuition, and imprisonment. There should be system protections against fraud such as immigrants claiming unemployment to exempt themselves from payment. If each of the over 20 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. were charged $50/month the government would earn an extra 12 billion annually! That ought to wet the whistles of even the most philanthropic bleeding heart liberal congressman.

The Nou Camp and the FC Barcelona Museum

The Nou Camp has been home to FC Barcelona since 1957, when construction was completed on the new stadium. While the land had been specifically purchased for a new stadium to be constructed several years before, building work did not start until 1954 after the decision to go ahead with the project was finally made.

Inaugurated on 24 September 1957 - a public holiday in Barcelona to celebrate La Merce, the city’s patron saint - in front of a crowd of more than 90,000 spectators and with the terraces still incomplete, the stadium was blessed by the Archbishop of Barcelona, followed by an opening ceremony attended by athletes and politicians alike. When the ceremony was over came the real action - Barcelona’s first victory at the Nou Camp with a 4-2 win against a selection from Warsaw, and the first ever goal in the stadium being scored by Eulogio Martinez in the 11th minute.

Enlarged in 1982 for the Spanish World Cup, the Nou Camp is the largest all-seater stadium in Europe as well as being the third largest in the world. With seating for 98,700 spectators, it is more correctly known as Camp Nou, which simply means “new field” in Catalan. Despite the vast number of spectators it can hold, the stadium empties remarkably quickly and official club figures state that it can be evacuated in 5 minutes in an emergency.

At full capacity the stadium can be deafening, which is always the case when FC Barcelona play arch-rivals Real Madrid, but sometimes against lesser teams it can be eerily quiet too. Other domestic rivals include Barcelona’s second football team, Espanyol, Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Mallorca and Zaragoza.

As well as being FC Barcelona’s stadium, the Nou Camp also houses the FC Barcelona museum, the most visited museum in Barcelona. The museum includes a historical archive of photos, documents and trophies as well as an exhibition of works by Catalan artists Dali, Miro and Tapies.

Visitors can also take the stadium tour, which includes a tour of the changing rooms, a walk through the tunnel onto the pitch as well as the substitutes’ bench and many other areas.
