Tenant Loans - A Basic Introduction

Without a property you might think it almost impossible to approve a loan. But this impossibility can be over ruled if one considers tenant loans. These loans are meant to aid financially to the non-homeowners or tenants to serve their purpose without placing collateral. Collateral is not the issue in such types of loans, rather it is applicants credit history that influence most the lenders. The prerogative of these loans is that it finances the tenants who seek monetary support to carry out their demands.

The tenant loans are often referred to as unsecured personal loans or non-homeowner loans. People who do not have property to place against loans can use the benefits of such loans. Lenders have noticed the requirements of tenants and are offering more and more competitive loans with easy repaying policies to people who do not own property.

The applicant has to follow only basic criteria while applying for loans and that is to convince the lenders of being sincerer in his repayments. The effort to convince lenders becomes less when applicants carry a reliable credit score. With the help of tenant loans, applicants can borrow amount between £1,000 and £25,000 for a period of 1 to 7 years.

Tenant loans are even approved to bad credit holders if they assure of being sincere in repaying the loan. Bad credit should produce all the credit related papers to the lenders while applying for the loans because such an act not only helps the approval process easy but also build positive attitude in the eyes of the creditors.

The rate of interest of tenant loans are little higher than homeowner loans because it is the lender who borne the stake by lending money without demanding any collateral. In such loans lender derive the rights to approach legal doors if borrowers falters from making repayments.

So, it is really good and relieving news for the tenants with the introduction of tenant loans. As now they can materialize all their ends which they are longing and apply for the financial support which they were seeking.

22 Ways To A Good Night’s Sleep

How many of you consider the importance of sleep in relation to fat-loss, injury prevention and recovery, lack of focus, and overall health and vitality?

According to a study published in the Lancet Medical Journal (1) chronic sleep deprivation may speed the onset or increase the severity of age-related conditions such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and memory loss.

Just one week of sleep deprivation altered subject’s hormone levels and their capacity to metabolize carbohydrates.

During sleep deprivation the researchers found that the men’s blood sugar levels took 40% longer to drop following a high-carbohydrate meal, compared with the control group (well rested group).

Their ability to secrete and respond to the hormone insulin (which helps regulate blood sugar) dropped by 30%.

Additionally, the sleep-deprived men had higher night-time concentrations of the hormone cortisol, (hormone released in response to stress), and lower levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone.

These raised cortisol levels mimic levels that are often seen in older people, and may be involved in age-related insulin resistance and memory loss.

So with that in mind here are some helpful tips to getting a good night’s sleep:

1. Get to sleep by 10.00 pm if possible - as most of the physical repair in your body takes place between 10 pm and 2 am. For example the gallbladder dumps toxins during this period. If you are awake then your liver is being overworked and perhaps sending toxins into your bloodstream.

2. Establish a regular, relaxing bedtime routine such as soaking in a hot bath and then reading a book or listening to soothing music. Some studies suggest that soaking in hot water before retiring to bed can ease the transition into deeper sleep, but it should be done early enough that you are no longer sweating or over-heated.

3. Create a sleep-conducive environment that is dark, quiet, comfortable, cool, and without interruptions. Design your sleep environment to establish the conditions you need for sleep. Also make your bedroom reflective of the value you place on sleep. If there is even the tiniest bit of light in the room it can disrupt your circadian rhythm and your pineal gland’s production of melatonin and serotonin (growth and immune boasting hormones).

4. Avoid arousing activities before bedtime like working, paying bills, engaging in competitive games or family problem-solving.

5. Avoid exposure to bright light before bedtime because it signals the neurons that help control the sleep-wake cycle that it is time to awaken, not to sleep.

6. Keep the light off when you go to the bathroom at night. As soon as you turn on that light you will immediately cease all production of the important sleep aid melatonin.

7. Eating a high-protein snack several hours before bed works for many (but not all as it depends on metabolic type). This can provide the L-tryptophan needed to produce melatonin and serotonin. Also eat a small piece of fruit. This can help the L-tryptophan cross the blood-brain barrier.

8. Avoid foods that you may be sensitive to. This is particularly true for dairy and wheat products, as they may have effect on sleep, such as causing apnea, excess congestion, gastrointestinal upset, and gas, among others. Additionally grains will raise blood sugar and inhibit sleep. Later, when blood sugar drops too low (hypoglycemia), you might wake up and not be able to fall back asleep.

9. Exercise regularly. It is best to complete your workout at least a few hours before bedtime. In general, exercising regularly makes it easier to fall asleep and contributes to sounder sleep. However, exercising sporadically or right before going to bed will make falling asleep more difficult. In addition to making us more alert, our body temperature rises during exercise, and takes as much as 6 hours to begin to drop. A cooler body temperature is associated with sleep onset.

10. Wear socks to bed. Due to the fact that they have the poorest circulation, the feet often feel cold before the rest of the body does. A study has shown that this reduces night waking.

11. Remove the clock from view. It will only add to your worry when constantly staring at it… 2 am…3 am… 4:30 am…

12. Use your bedroom only for sleep and sex to strengthen the association between bed and sleep. It is best to take work materials, computers and televisions out of the sleeping environment.

13. Using dimmer switches in living rooms and bathrooms before bed can be helpful.

14. Journaling. If you often lay in bed with your mind racing, it might be helpful keep a journal and write down your thoughts before bed.

15. Avoid caffeine (e.g. coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate) close to bedtime. It can keep you awake as caffeine is a stimulant, which means it can produce an alerting effect. Caffeine products remain in the body on average from 3 to 5 hours, but they can affect some people up to 12 hours later. Even if you do not think caffeine affects you, it may be disrupting and changing the quality of your sleep.

16. Avoid nicotine (e.g. cigarettes, tobacco products). When smokers go to sleep, they experience withdrawal symptoms from nicotine, which causes sleep problems.

17. Avoid alcohol close to bedtime. Although many people think of alcohol as a sedative, it actually disrupts sleep, causing nighttime awakenings. Alcohol will also keep you from falling into the deeper stages of sleep, where the body does most of its healing.

18. Avoid using loud alarm clocks. It is very stressful on the body to be awoken suddenly. If you are regularly getting enough sleep, they should be unnecessary.

19. Avoid drinking any fluids within 2 hours of going to bed. This will reduce the likelihood of needing to get up and go to the bathroom or at least minimize the frequency.

20. Sleep on a comfortable mattress and pillows. Make sure your mattress is supportive and have comfortable pillows. Make the room attractive and inviting for sleep but also free of allergens that might affect you and objects that might cause you to slip or fall if you have to get up during the night.

21. Listen to white noise or relaxation CDs. Some people find nature sounds like rainfall or ocean waves, or white noise soothing for sleep.

22. Herbs including chamomile and valerian are regarded as natural relaxants.

Happy Sleeping! :-)

The Battle of Good Versus Evil

The subtle battle of good versus evil has been waged periodically since the earliest times. It is once again been fought in the subtle world during the years 1999 - 2006. After 2006 as the intensity of subtle battle has reduced, a gross battle on Earth will ensue. Thereafter, the world will undergo a period of flux recovering from the battle on Earth and preparing for a new era. This new era will be known as the Divine Kingdom and with it humanity will see a thousand years of peace and Righteousness. The times we live in are very significant, as the ramifications of this battle will be felt by the entire universe. However the current times are also highly conducive for spiritual practice to attain God-realization (the highest spiritual state).

The definition of good and evil

From a Spiritual science standpoint, people who are living or who have passed on, who have an intense desire to do spiritual practice with the goal of surrendering everything including ego unto God and aligning their life with attaining God are defined as ‘good’. On the other hand, evil persons (living or subtle bodies) are raja-tama or tama predominant, unrighteous and have a high ego.

Where do good and evil come from?

Everything in the universe has originated from One God. The God principle permeates everything in the universe and also exists beyond it. From this perspective both good and evil have originated from the God principle. They have both existed since the creation of the universe. However the evil was in seed or latent form at that time. Since both good and evil come from the Supreme God principle, they also get their spiritual energy from God.

What is the mission of good and evil?

The mission of the good forces is to establish an order across all the regions of the universe based on the sattva http://www.spiritualresearchfoundation.org/spiritualresearch/spiritualscience/sattva_raja_tama/ component. On the other hand, evil forces strive to establish a demonic kingdom based on the raja and tama components. This demonic kingdom is a kind of kingdom that is most conducive for demonic forces to fulfill their desires. These desires have a wide range, right from indulging excessively in sensual pleasures and the inappropriate use of power, to troubling seekers of God, to wiping out spiritual practice for God-realization.

Where is the battle fought?

The battle between good and evil is fought mainly in the subtle worlds between the subtle good and subtle evil forces. After the subtle battle is won by the subtle good forces, it is followed by the battle in the gross (physical) i.e. on Earth. This gross war affects the entire world. At first the battleground manifests on Earth in people’s minds and it seems like we are living in a world that has gone crazy. This is pretty much like the world in recent times. This is primarily because of ghosts (demons, devils, spirits, etc.) possessing or affecting mankind. Along with this there is an increasing intensity of natural disasters (floods, tsunamis, epidemics, drought, etc.).

Later the battle in the subtle manifests on our material plane and escalates on Earth. It finally presents itself as a major world war along with natural disasters of a monumental level. The primary reason for this is because of the increase in the subtle tama component that is associated with evil i.e. ghosts (demons, devils, spirits, etc.) and a society that lacks in spiritual practice and a lifestyle of Righteousness.

The scale of the physical battle will be unlike anything one has seen before and entire mankind will be affected. This is nature’s way of cleansing the planet of the tama predominant elements, making way for a better world.

Conclusion

The period between the years 1999 - 2022 represents a twilight period between two eras as we move from a darker age (mini-kaliyuga) to a better one (mini-satyayuga) within the main era of Kaliyuga. During this twilight period of 23 years, any spiritual practice undertaken by one according to the basic principles of Spirituality http://www.spiritualresearchfoundation.org/spiritualresearch/happiness/spirituality/basicpricinples_spirituality_d.php/ will benefit one immensely.

In fact, each year of spiritual practice in these 23 years is equal to 50 years during the course of an era. Taking adulthood to be about 50 years in an average human’s lifespan; spiritual practice undertaken in these 23 years would approximately be equivalent to 1000 years. Another way of looking at it would be that we would be getting the benefit of 20 lifetimes of spiritual practice in just one lifetime.

Hence, despite these times being really challenging there is a way to make the best of it and achieve maximal spiritual progress by undertaking spiritual practice.

Tips On Finding The Right Cosmetic Surgery Clinics

Cosmetic surgery clinics seem to be popping up everywhere. I never noticed organizations that practiced “aesthetic medicine” so much as I have in recent years. Maybe it’s a sign of the times or maybe it’s a sign of my age. Finding the right cosmetic surgery clinics for your specific needs is crucial to your appearance as well as your health.

Make sure that you do your homework before signing up to have a procedure done. Cosmetic surgery clinics are growing in numbers and some may offer great prices but this does not mean that these clinics are right for you. You may wind up paying a bigger price in the long run. Cheap is not the best approach when it comes to cosmetic surgery clinics.

The first thing that you want to do is start reading up on different procedures that you would like to have done. Maybe you would like a tummy tuck or perhaps you are simply interested in a laser face resurfacing procedure. In either case, there will be a number of cosmetic surgery clinics that offer services for you. However, only a few will be up to par.

Once you have narrowed down your choices according to the specific procedure that you want, you really want to weed out some of the cosmetic surgery clinics that are not right for your needs. The process may be a little daunting at first but it is never a good idea to just pick the clinic that it closest to home. This approach is a bad as going for the cheapest cosmetic surgery clinics in your area.

Of course, you want to stay close to home if you can but you really are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t explore cosmetic surgery clinics that have outstanding reputations. After all, you are going to be wearing the results for the rest of your life. You do want to make sure that your physician is top-notch.

So how do you discover who the leader in the field of cosmetic procedures is? It takes research. Probably the best route to take is to speak directly with patients who have been to the cosmetic surgery clinics that interest you. This may be a little more difficult than it seems. It is easy to find endorsements but it can be tricky to find a disgruntled customer.

Once you have a handful of cosmetic surgery clinics narrowed down, you definitely want to take a tour of the facilities. If you feel comfortable with the environment and you like the staff, you may have found the right place.

The Secret - The Law Of Attraction

The Secret

Modern teachers, philosophers, and motivational thinkers are flocking around the idea behind the film “The secret”. Amongst them Bob Proctor - Philosopher, businessman, author of the international bestseller You were born rich who has helped people succeed in areas of mind potential for over 40 years, is traveling the world, teaching people how to apply The Law of Attraction to create lives of prosperity and abundance for themselves.

What is that “new” idea behind “The Secret”?.

Is there something magical and never seen or heard before? Is there a “Secret” never revealed?
Many of us have read Jack Canfield books from his “Chicken soup for the soul” series.

Thanks to a movie the world is “discovering” the law of attraction, which is great, but not enough. In fact, the Law of Attraction explain The Secret to everything. If we are able to learn and apply the Law of Attraction, then we we are on our way to build the Life Style we dream about.

As per Bob Proctor, We all work with one infinite power. We all guide ourselves by exactly the same laws. The natural laws of the universe are so precise that we do not have any difficulty building spaceships, we can send people to the moon and we can time the landing with the precision of a fraction of a second.

Everything that is coming into our life we are attracting into our life. And it’s attracted by virtue of the images we’re holding in our mind. Whatever is going on in our mind we are attracting to us
For us to use the Law Of Attraction, we must take in consideration what kind of relations we have. Are we in love? What kind of relation is this? What kind of friends we have? How our family communications work? Are we happy with our income? And/Or our work? What kind of business are we in? Are we healthy? What kind of relations with and how we care and relate to our body?

The science of using the Law of attraction was reformulated by Wallace D Wattles in the 1910s and then Napoleon Hill in the 1950s. TODAY Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield have taken this Science into a Whole New Era.

Every time we decide what path we take, we are getting results which are formatting our life.
Vikenanda, who lived from 1863 to 1902 states “All the powers of the Universe are already ours. It is we who have put hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark”

Living is more than money. Living is about how we get the FREEDOM to become whatever we want to be.

The Law of Attractions deals with our understanding and acceptance that anything is within the field of our possibility if we desire it strongly enough, believe in it and take action towards getting or achieving what we want or dream about.

How are we reacting to the possibility of having a genie just ready to grant us whatever we ask for? What we would ask for? How many of us have the awareness required to manifest wealth? Why there are 5% who succeed and 95% who do not? In fact, there are millionaires with college degrees and millionaires with little formal education. As per Forbes, they count of 946 billionaires as of 2007, including 179 newcomers to “The Club”.

They are from Argentina, Australia, Bermuda, Austria, Brazil, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt France, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman Philippines, Poland Portugal, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arb Emirates, United Kingdom, United States and Venezuela.

That is, they are from all over the world, different skin colors, cultures and all walks of life.
What makes them different?

Life is about choices. It is our choice to attract or resist wealth from entering our lives. It is our choice to attract abundance, love, happiness, health, friendship. In fact, the choice is not about money. The choice is about FREEDOM. The choice is about claiming the abundance the Universe has already reserved for us.

The Secret, is the movie featuring great writers but most of all is the movie featuring million dollar men who are training people to manifest awesome changes in those of us who are ready to harness the Law Of Attraction to become healthy, wealthy and outstanding achievers. The Secret is about the choice of being a brand new YOU ready to grab all those realities most of us only dreamed about.

Those wealthy people around the world, have something in common. All of them have educated themselves to see opportunities and act on them at once. They have chosen to grab opportunities and squeeze them to get the most out of their potential and power.

There are millionaires who were born rich. However, there are quite a few homeless who learned and used the Law Of Atraction to become real success stories, both online and off. Wealthy people who understand and use the Law Of Attraction, understand that wealth and abundance are their birth right. There are millionaires around the world who understand that abundance is for everyone of us who harness the idea and reality that the Universe has plenty of resources for every one of us and that everyone of us is entitled to be rich.

Humanity must learn to harness the thought process to attract abundance, and help others understand they are entitled to every thing good by understanding and using the Science of Getting Rich.

Wallace Wattles brought to light the Law Of Getting Rich, when in 1910 published his book which inspired the movie “The Secret”. In the 1930s Napoleon Hill took the Law Of Attraction to a new level when he published his book Think and Grow Rich.

It is up to us to choose the path to new heights of achievement and discover The Secret to open the doors of our lives to the genies who are ready to bring us all the riches, health, abundance and well being we are entitled to.

ACRE Of Diamond: The 4 People That Can Help You Shine

Have you read Acres of Diamonds by Russell Conwell?

If not, I would highly recommend that you read it.

The reason why I asked that question is because I do a lot of networking. There are two things you can ask others when you network with them, How can you help them and how can they help you? There have been many times where people act like they don’t know anyone that can help you or themselves.

The book Acres of Diamonds helps you realize that there are opportunities all around us, but we have to be willing to open our eyes and look for them. In the book a farmer sold his land and went out to search for diamonds. He ended up taking his own life after his journey ended with no diamonds. The man he sold his land to later found diamonds on the very same land.

Before you decide that what you have in talent is not worthy, take a great look into your life and see how you can make a difference.

In order to make the process of networking easier I made each letter in the word A.C.R.E. stand for something that can help open up doors to your future. The next time someone says they don’t know anyone please show them this format so that they can help you and you can help them.

The A is for Associates. Who have you met recently that you think can help you grow? Before you approach this person think about how you can help them grow? If you do not know exactly what they do before you meet ask with a phone call or an email.

The C is for Community or Church contacts. I recently joined Friendship Baptist Church and I met a member named Deacon Obleton who worked for the school board. Deacon Obleton introduced me to Dr. Betty McBride and after meeting with Dr. McBride who is over Guidance services, I was hired to be the luncheon speaker at the Counselors Connecting to Make A Difference Conference.

The R is for Relatives. Do you know exactly what your family members do? Do they know exactly what you do? A brief get to know session with people that are close to you can open up doors that would of never even been approached. My wife Kim supports my efforts and even goes to networking events with me.

The E is for Educational connections. I graduated from Tennessee State University in 1992 and there are still people that I keep in touch with. When I self published my first book, the TSU bookstore opened their doors for me to do a booksigning during homecoming festivities.

These are not just four people but also areas in your life where you can help others and help yourself to unlimited possibilities. You can help by looking into your A.C.R.E. and find out who your influential contacts are. You’re A.C.R.E. is a diamond that with the right polish can leave a light that can forever shine.

Walking - Why You Should Be Getting Back To Basics

“Walking is man’s best medicine”
Hippocrates

Sometimes we forget the basics. For many people returning to exercise after a long hiatus can be a painful experience. Shocking the body through intense running, weight training and sport can result in a short term comeback. So what’s the best way to get started? I believe it’s through daily walking.

Listed below are some of the physical, mental, financial, environmental, and other benefits to regular walking:

Physical Health
- Increases metabolism. According to leading holistic health practitioner Paul Chek hundreds of calorie-burning muscles are utilized by walking through the integrated use of our arms, legs and torso. Walking briskly on a daily basis not only results in the burning of calories, it increases enzyme activity and other metabolic activity. Eherenfried Pfeiffer, famous nutritionist and biochemist, suggests that walking as little as two miles may result in increased calorie consumption for up to 12 hours post movement. (3)

- Improves body shape. Walking transforms bodies not only through consuming more calories but also by improving the body’s ability to digest, assimilate, eliminate waste products and detoxify, especially if water consumption has increased.

- Improvement in overall sense of health and wellbeing. Regular walking reduces the risk of Cardiovascular Disease by up to 50%. Studies have found that walking regularly over a long period of time can reduce your risk of stroke, diabetes and osteoporosis and is useful in treating arthritis, high blood pressure and even depression.

- It’s low impact. Running can result in up to 10 times the body’s weight bearing down on the joints particularly the poor old knees, hips and lower back.

- Decreases the risk of developing muscle waste, osteoporosis, and related fractures. Walking reduces the risk of hip fracture by up to 50% in women. (1)
Mental Health

- Enhances mental clarity and mood.

- Walking allows a time for reflection and is one of the most effective methods of relaxation.

Financial benefits
- Walking is free. It only requires a good pair of walking shoes, which in some places like on a clean beach is not even necessary.

- More walking could save £7 billion off the National Health Bill (Countryside Agency 2002) (3)

- Save money on fuel and maintenance costs for those short trips

Environmental advantages
- Walk for cleaner air. Transport emissions are already a major contributor to the greenhouse effect.

Walking also:
- Is achievable and realistic. Walking can be easily integrated into most people’s lives. By walking to the station, shops, up the stairs - it all adds up!

- Is easy. Walking is one of the most primal movement patterns and is what our body was built for. So no need to take classes as Nike say’s “Just do it”.

- Is fun. Try Spending your weekends wandering cities or the countryside with family and friends.

For those getting back into exercise here is a 10-week downloadable walking programme:

Striking the Mother Lode

A colleague flew in to town for a visit. Being recovered coffee-holics we backslid and went searching for morning coffee. In days past we would instruct the waitress to leave the pot, bring two bowls of creamers and when she wasn’t looking we’d swipe sugar-packs from adjacent tables because our packets always disappeared.

I will never forget the time I drank fourteen cups during a late dinner we had. I was trying to prove I could keep up with my colleague. On the way home, my car had a tough time keeping within the lanes.

This time it’s a bit different. We’re both more health-conscious. Our coffee-thon days are in the past.

So we drove by Marie Callender’s but then he remembered they switched their coffee brand after the new corporate owners took over. It was too strong. There was a Denny’s next door but their coffee was a bit too blah.

But that’s when we discovered a goldmine…

We cruised into the next driveway and found a New York style deli/bakery/restaurant camouflaged within a mini strip mall. We entered D.Z. Akin’s and found a bustling eatery reminiscent of San Francisco’s busiest restaurants. The only item missing was the counter where you can sit up close and watch your servers pick up orders from the kitchen through an opening.

Autographed celebrity photos lined the walls, which added personality to the plain decor. But patrons don’t return to DZ’s for the ambiance. They come back for the gigantic, appetizing food portions served with East Coast flair.

My eyes bulged out of their sockets when I saw some of the thickest deli sandwiches this side of the Mississippi making their way to the tables. The kind where the meat dwarfs the bread and the sandwich covers the entire plate. And if you don’t squeeze tight on the bread-you’re not going to fit it in your mouth. Certainly not a chain restaurant.

And the coffee was excellent. Light-bodied and smooth. The servers moved briskly and kept our mugs warm. And when you ask for more cream, they don’t pretend there’s a dairy shortage. You get about a dozen creamers in a bowl.

We struck gold.

As small business owners we often miss the golden nuggets that surround us. They’re often within eyesight, but we’re too focused on daily tasks to see them. And unfortunately, we pass up the chance to profit.

I remember the time I received a call from a prospect. The message came late in the afternoon on Thanksgiving Eve. I decided not to call until the following week. I took down the number and erased the message.

Guess what happened next?

The number disappeared. I must have thrown it away as I cleaned out my car. And there was no way to retrieve it.

Here’s the lesson I learned:

Cleaning the car wasn’t as important as a new prospect. Yet I was too busy with the minor stuff and lost focus on the major stuff. From that day on, I constantly remind myself not to major on minor things.
