Download The Apprentice Episodes

How many ways to download The Apprentice episodes are there? As you might know there a few different ways you can download your favorite TV shows online. One of them is pretty popular among TV lovers. You can go to Amazon or iTunes, pick an episode, pay about $1 or $2, download it and enjoy watching it in a couple of minutes. However, I do not think that this is really the best way to enjoy TV shows. Simply imagine how much money you spend per year on downloading, several hundreds or maybe even a thousands?

Now think about how much you could save if you knew how to download The Apprentice episodes from the Internet without actually paying every time? See the picture now? There is a small problem, unfortunately, most of us do not know where to find such services or simply have no idea that they exist. I suppose this is due to lack of advertising. Developing Your Photographic Eye

The photographer\’s eye is probably his greatest asset, and if you are new to photography it should be one of the first things you learn to understand. Photographers are not born with a creative eye; your eye will develop within time, and in some cases it takes a great deal of time.

Time will vary among different individuals. It will all depend on the person\’s determination to become a great photographer, on the training, and how you apply your training.

Photographers should be trained to see things differently, and should be always on the lookout for objects and scenes that will look good on print. Training, colleges and photography tutors will only teach you so much; most of the creativity you develop will be due to your hard work and awareness of what is around you. But, regardless of this - there are always ways to develop your eye at a faster pace.

One method of making your eye more apt for photography is true constant visual inspection of other photographer\’s images. By browsing through magazines, websites and published work, you can see how photographers apply the tricks of the trade.

When viewing a photographers images study how he composed his shot. Also study how he used the elements of light and composition together. Study the shadows in each image to see where he placed his studio lights. If some of his images were taken outdoors shadows will still appear. Understanding light and composition is key to good imagery.

Another method is when you take images, compare them to images taken by well-known professionals. You need to be your own hardest critic. Do not be afraid to return to a scene and retake your shots. This will only make you better.

Buying photography magazines that are marketed for the amateur photographer will also be valuable. Some magazines will let you submit your shots for comment. Don\’t be afraid to do this. This is where you will get honest criticism about your photography.

If you are an amateur and just want to improve your family shots, or if your goal is to become a professional, your creative eye is so important. In spite of the camera you use and this applies to video photography too, constantly viewing images and taking photographs will lead to your eye becoming sharper.

Native American Musical Styles

Music is an important part of Native American culture. Many researchers feel that Native American music is some of the most complex music ever performed, due to its tensing and releasing of the vocals and the varying drum beats.

Their traditional music is essentially religious and is their main means of communicating with supernatural powers. In general, it is passionate, and mostly vocal. This passion has greatly influenced modern folk music. Their music is entirely melodic with no harmony, and has unusual, irregular rhythms. The main instruments they use are drums and rattles, and flutes and whistles. Men and women typically sing separate songs and have their own dances to reflect the eternal balance and harmony.

The music of each of the hundreds of Native American tribes is distinct but their musical traditions do have some common elements. The tribal groups can be grouped into six zones (the Eastern Woodlands, South West, Great Basin, Plains, Northwest Coast, and Artic) based on their musical traditions.

The Eastern Woodlands region includes tribes such as the Creek, Cherokee, Choctaw, Iroquois, and Shawnee. Their music is antiphonal (answering responsively), and includes frequent metric changes, rhythmic complexities, a close relation with ritual dance, and the use of flutes, drums, rattles etc.

The Great Basin is a sparsely populated region that includes tribes such as the Shoshoni, Ute, Modoc, and Klamath. Their music is extremely simple, discrete, and ornate. It has short melodies with a less than an octave range, relaxed and open vocals, paired-phrase structure, and moderately blended monophony (has a single vocal part).

The Great Plains includes tribes such as the Blackfoot, Crow, Comanche, and Cheyenne. Their music has nasal tone, high pitches, and frequent falsettos. It uses instruments such as the bass drum and solo end blown flutes.

The South West region includes tribes such as the Pueblo (including Hopi, Zuni, Pueblo tribes among others) and Athabaskan (including the Navaho and Apache). Athabaskan music has swift, plain style nasal vocals and unblended monophony, and uses instruments like drums or rattles and the Apache fiddle. Pueblo music is quite complex, and includes slow tempo, a variety of forms, the use of several percussion instruments, and a low range and highly blended monophony.

The Northwest Coast includes tribes such as the Nootka, Tsimshian, and Salish. Their music is one of the most complex in North America. It has open vocals with monophony, complex and declamatory (dramatic or rhetorical) rhythms, and long melodies accompanied by chromatic intervals. It uses a wide variety of whistles, flutes, horns, and percussion instruments.

The Artic region includes the Inuit, who are known for their throat singing. Their music is simple and has narrow ranged melodies, declamatory effects, and the use of box drums.

Like other musical styles, Native American music is evolving. In addition to pan tribal (synergic adoption of music from foreign communities) styles of music such as powwows, and peyote songs, Native musicians have developed distinct rock, blues, hip- hop and reggae styles. Martha Redbone, the leading Native American Indian musician of this century, successfully combined traditional music with soul, funk, rock, and jazz.

Tribal music is very popular today, especially recordings of the haunting Native American flute. R. Carlos Nakai, who is the perhaps most prominent native flute player of our generation, in the early 1990\’s, influenced countless people to start playing the flute. Native American drums are also popular instruments now, even among non-Native Americans.

Unfortunately, attempts to assimilate Native Americans into our culture started in the early 1900\’s and forbid many cultural traditions, including music. It was only in the late 1940\’s that assimilation rules began to disappear. It is lucky for us that Native American music resurfaced so that we can enjoy it today.

Tracy Crowe is interested both in music and in indigenous cultures, especially Native American. Download Music MP3 Online - Your Choices

To download music mp3 online is possible, but to orient in the overwhelming number of websites offering the service can be tough. If you have never downloaded mp3 music from the Internet, you need to educate yourself about the common options before you decide to join any site, especially a paid one.

Illegal Free Music Download Websites

You can download music mp3 online free of cost. But well, they are illegal! Apart from that, such sites are often poorly maintained and highly disorganized. They normally operate on peer-to-peer basis, with files being shared among users, therefore, there is no possibility to check and sort out all the illegal, corrupt, incorrect, and virus infected files. The software you need to download in order to use the site’s resources frequently plants various spyware and adware in your computer causing its malfunctioning.

Legal Free Music Download Websites

No fee for downloading songs. If the site is really legitimate and strictly observes all copyright laws, it may not have the kind of music you are looking for. For example, it will not have the latest hits as well as some all-time favorites. These sites are good only for less known and off-beat music often posted by the aspiring musicians and singers themselves.

Pay-Per-Download Websites

You can download music mp3 online legally, of high quality, and with full technical support in case any problem arises. The extensive music library includes all the latest hits, and the files are well-organized and easy to find. It is the most expensive music download source on the Internet, as the price is set per song or album and eventually runs up to the cost of an actual CD.

Monthly/Yearly Subscription Websites

Normally, such websites allow you to download music mp3 online without restricting the number of songs as long as your subscription is valid. Good quality and selection, high speeds, easy search, and professional customer support are also provided. 100% legal. DMR (Digital Rights Management), which restricts the ability of the user to transfer the downloaded files to portable players and other computers, as well as burn CDs. In other words, you pay to only listen to the music, and the moment your subscription is expired you lose all downloaded files.

Unlimited Music Download Websites with Lifetime Membership

The best alternative for users who want to download music mp3 online legally, but without spending much. Affordable one-time fee gives you an instant, never-expiring access to the vast music library with the possibility of unlimited downloads. All the downloaded music belongs to you and you are free to transfer it anywhere without the fear of losing it and facing any additional charges whatsoever. As in any successful niche, the scam risk is elevated. There are plenty of fraud websites copied from popular legitimate websites, which offer users to download music mp3 online, but in reality have little, if anything, for their customers.

Davion is a music addict and cannot do without them. Find out about hot and limited offers for unlimited music downloads. Also read his wildly popular article on how to download unlimited music.

Intentional Art - Can Art Touch the Divine to Manifest Our Dreams?

During my first week of work in a museum in New York City, I discovered a fascinating set of small sculptures on exhibition. Our curator of archeology told me that these were votive offerings, imagery created with the intention of connecting with the divine. Quite simply, ancient societies offered these devotional objects as gifts to the Creator and as prayers for the fulfillment of dreams.

Such exchanges of mortals seeking favor from the divine are features of ancient and modern societies. We know that the ancient Egyptians decorated tomb walls with murals depicting the deceased enjoying the afterlife. Ex-votos are another example of a practical application of this formula for making art to gain favor with the divine and to give thanks for blessings received in this present life.

The artist as shaman or alchemist is another new old idea. Artists, like shamans, are perceived to have the ability to explore other realms of experience, tap into higher states of consciousness, and bring back eternal wisdom to share with this world. Art, therefore, has sacred abilities.

I became intrigued with the idea of art\’s sacred ability to “make magic” or to manifest. By visually portraying our dreams, wishes, needs, and desires, we could bring them from our inner worlds into our outer world. Magic! Manifesting through art! Make art! Make your dreams happen!

So with an open heart I set out to practice this sacred wisdom regarding our connection with the divine as co-creators.

Sarah and I met at an exhibition of Mediterranean landscape paintings and that evening we spoke of our mutual love for the classical art and architecture of Greece, its sweeping vistas, and the beauty of its grand civilization. As she told me of her desire to be in Greece, I could feel us standing in the sun on a rocky hillside looking out over white stucco houses that shone brilliantly against a deep blue sea and sky!

I knew in that moment that an intentional mural had the power to serve as a conduit to bring forth Sarah\’s dreams!

We began with her vision and established our intention for her mural. We developed the design and chose colors that would enhance her living space as a whole.

Upon completion, Sarah was thrilled with the beauty, elegance, and upliftment her mural brought into her family\’s home. Now she could be in her beloved Greece every day!

Then something interesting happened. Greece had become so much a part of her everyday focus that it seemed natural when out of the blue a telephone call came from an old friend. He was giving a workshop and he needed her expertise as a facilitator. Would she be interested in taking part? The workshop would take place that July in Hydra, Greece!

Intentional mural art is akin to the goals of Feng Shui art. Symbolic imagery is used to enhance opportunities, fame, fortune, career, business, success, health, love.

My buddy Rob longed for love in his life. He was in his mid-forties and had never been married. A colleague suggested Feng Shui principles as a way to energize his bedroom thereby attracting more love into his life.

This seemed to Rob like some sort of mystical interior design! But he liked the intentional mural art that I was creating and was willing to have his “fantasy painting” on a wall in his bedroom.

The focus of his painting was an embracing couple. Waking up every morning and seeing this man and woman happy and so much in love made him feel hopeful.

Living with art that portrayed his dream of love, it came as no surprise to hear good news from Rob sometime later. He had met a beautiful woman and they were getting married!

Magic? You decide. Or is this simply the way the godstuff of this world works? Imagine the possibilities…

Mural art, intentionally designed, is a very practical way to produce harmony, comfort, balance and beauty in your life space. At a deeper level and through intentional imagery, I believe mural art has the power to co-create states or conditions for the manifestation of dreams.

Would You Like to Enjoy Me?

It was 1981 and we had agreed to receive the advance promotional team for “Up With People” for a 2-week stay. Their assignment was to coordinate everything for the show which included promotion and making sure all of the stage arrangements were made in advance of the touring groups arrival. The team would stay in our home and work out from there. Although this was somewhat new for both of us we were both looking forward to the boys stay.

Up With People is made up of teens and young adults that come from all over the world to gain experience putting on musical performances. The shows are uplifting, very well done and usually sponsored by groups like our Kiwanis Club. The young adults got experience traveling and singing on stage and local families got the pleasure of seeing a great show and entertaining the kids in their homes.

Hans and Eric were from Holland and Boston respectfully and were definitely high energy young men. This was their first assignment as the “Advance Team” and they were anxious to make sure that all preparations were complete before the troop arrived. They met with the manager of the civic auditorium, the coordinator/committee chairman from our Kiwanis Club and local printers to get fliers posted around the community. The boys were clearly well trained and they took their positions seriously.

In the evenings we would have a nice dinner and then chat about where they were from and what they enjoyed doing till the boys turned in early since they had a lot to do each day.

Hans approached my wife one evening and asked if there were any places where they could have a nice evening out dancing and enjoying the town. I had played in a local band for years at a very nice dinner club in southern California that was owned by a local attorney that was definitely the right type of crowd. We suggested the Tam O\’Shanter and even offered the boys to use our car.

On Saturday evening they both dressed and prepared for their night out and at about 9 PM left on their way. Eric was pretty much “ho hum” about the evening but Hans was visibly excited. We both figured him for quite a “ladies man”.

My wife and I settled in front of the TV and watched a movie till about 11 PM and then turned it. It had been a long week and she was 6 months pregnant and so getting through the movie itself was a chore before she fell asleep on my shoulder.

The next morning, I got up early to start preparing breakfast. It was around 9 AM by the time everyone arose and as the boys wandered out from their room both of us could tell that Hans was not a happy camper. As he sat at the table drinking his coffee he was not his usual bubbly-self. In fact, he didn\’t say one word. Finally I asked how the evening went last night. Eric said he enjoyed the club, danced a bit and thought the band was really good. Hans said nothing. Finally I asked Hans directly why he was not saying anything. He blurted out “I don\’t understand American women. I didn\’t get to dance once last night. They all turned me down,” he said. “In my country I am thought to be quite a catch but over here nothing!”

Bev asked Hans what happened and he proceeded to share that he would look the room over and find some ladies he wanted to dance with and then approach them asking “would like to enjoy me on the dance floor?” Say what? “Would you like to enjoy me on the dance floor?” Bev pointed out that he might want to change his approach by saying “Would you like to join me on the dance floor?” After explaining the difference, the four of us howled for a good 30 minutes. We laughed so hard we were so exhausted we all went back to bed for another hour or two and the following week we only had to look at each other and we lost it.

The show was great but the memory of that morning has never left us.

Ska - Before, Now And Beyond

Introduction:

Ask anyone who is into Ska music and most shall stare back blankly - it is a question regarding the America of the 1950s when American pop was the most influential entity on the bands worldwide. Thanks to the powerful, American radio stations without which the music wouldn\’t have waded past the waves of the Caribbean.

The Ska Spawning:

So it is Jamaica that we shall now be concentrating upon. With the changing economy, the natives of Jamaica could no more be satisfied with the traditional Jamaican music; what they wanted at this point of time was what that blared out of the radios\’ speakers. Call it adulteration or a corruption, but there\’s no denying the fact that it laid the seeds for shaping the Ska that we hear today, but how many of us really know that where all these got started? To know that, we must dig up the annals of history to find out what was going on in the 1920\’s and 30\’s regarding the local Jamaican band scene.

Mento - The mentor of Ska

This rural music form dominated the compositions of the local bands during that era; from wedding ceremonies to concerts and house parties, Mento had been the omnipresent factor. But the \’30s heralded the decline of Mento that slowly transformed to Ska over a twenty-year timeline. So, by the late 1950\’s, all that existed out of the authentic Mento were the token numbers, but nevertheless, the application of the Mento craft was something they couldn\’t shun away completely. Instead, a balance was achieved and the Jamaican mobile Disco became the pivot of all the DJs who traveled all over the island of Jamaica. The sound was distinctly an American one, the perfect food for all the souls who were hungry for knowing things that were coming out of America. The chief influences were no doubt the then-contemporary bands - ranging from Fats Domino, Louie Jordan to even Ray Charles. Tom the Great Sebastian, V Rocket and Sir Coxsone\’s Downbeat created the most dazzling examples in this regard.

From Rock to Riches

Things were not stagnant in America though; it was Rock-n-Roll that was outperforming the once Kings - R&B and Jazz. But Jamaicans could not identify themselves with Rock-n-Roll; neither could they dance to its steps. What proved worse was the scarcity of good, new R\’nB and Jazz records in Jamaica as well as a diminishing number of quality Mento musicians. But Mento survived among a niche crowd, despite all the adversities.

The Metamorphosis

The other music form that co-existed was Calypso, a genre in which the entire world was interested. This was an opportunity a few of the record producers (the most notable being Ken Kouri, Stanley Motta, and Chin) grabbed; they gave the Mento musicians a chance. More and more LP records thus saw the daylights and today\’s Jamaican music industry took birth, turning Mento into an international entity. It produced the conflict between big band jazz and Mento; between the upper and the lower class, musically. And just like too much of heat fuse disintegrable elements, Ska, a fusion style, was born.

SKAnning the form:

RnB melodies and a distinct, Jamaican Mento folk rhythm - this is what that defines the Ska as we know it today. Characterized by the influence of blues and swing jazz (the drums) in the second and fourth beats prove the American influence, followed by the guitar that carries the Mento sound. This lays the basic blueprint of Ska.

Ska and its influence

It goes without saying that Jamaicans latched on to Ska faster than a pregnant teen to her boyfriend. After all, it was Jamaica\’s first indigenous and original sound, brought into shape by such talents like Rolond Alphonso (tenor sax), Rico Rodriguez (trombone), Lloyd Knibbs (drums), Jerry Haynes (guitar) and Dizzy Moore (trumpet), Lloyd Brevett (bass) and Aubrey Adams (keyboards). Singers like Laurel Aiken and Clancy Eccles also contributed generously to the genre.

The Aftermath

What we get to hear today is the Third Wave of Ska, incorporating equally the classic 1960\’s sound along with Latin, Hard-Core, House, Rave, Funk and also, up to a certain extent alternative rock. And those who claim Ska dies during the 1980-s, would they be generous enough to SKAvenge its remains to prove the same?

Online Poker Sites & Rooms - How to Choose Them & What to Look For

Choosing the right online poker room for yourself can be a daunting task if you are a beginning player who is unsure of what site suits you best. Together, we will solve this problem and at the conclusion of this article you should be able to choose your poker room with confidence.

The first thing to look at when choosing a poker room is the overall look and feel of the software. You are going to be looking at this software while playing so it should be pleasing to the eye and shouldn\’t be too difficult to navigate around and locate a game. This is of utmost importance because no one wants to look at an ugly interface that is unorganized and hurts your eyes to look at.

Secondly, you need to take into account the games that are offered and how varied their games are. If you are a tournament player you want a poker site with a variety of tournaments and a lot of options to work with. If you are a cash game player or sit and go player than just about any site will work for you but some sites have more varieties of sit-n-go\’s based on buy-ins and pay-outs so that needs to be addressed also.

On the note of buy-ins, you should look at the payout structure and how it relates to the buy-in they require for you to play the game. Tournament players should look into guaranteed tournaments that have a set prize pool regardless of how many players enter, this has a great buy-in to payout ratio and this is hard to find on many poker sites.

Next you should watch the players and see what the general playing styles are in a variety of games on a poker site. Many poker sites are very loose and full of fish that are very easy to profit against if you have a solid game. You want to find players that most likely are the opposite of your playing style so you can benefit and profit from their drawbacks and mistakes.

Now you should look into how easy it is to deposit and withdraw funds. Many of the big poker rooms have made it very easy to perform both tasks but some have more options than others. This should be looked into and not taken lightly because if you cash big you want to be able to cash out without too much trouble.

Lastly and optional, you may want to take a look at the shuffling algorithm and dealing patterns of the site. It is hard to find documentation on how it works but that can often be found on the poker room\’s webpage. Many players are critical of online poker and have trust issues with poker rooms so I usually like to actually watch the tables or play the tables and see what I believe is too frequent. For example, three suited cards on the board 6 out of 10 hands or other frequent occurrences that aren\’t common live.

For poker reviews of the largest and best poker rooms to facilitate your search for the right room please visit the sites section of http://www.mega-poker.net for exclusive reviews that breakdown and critique all of the criteria explained in this article.

The Top 10 Chick Flicks That Will Make You Cry

Every woman needs a good chick flick to stir up a few tears now and then. Even every guy needs to experience a good chick flick that gets him choked up. Sure, he\’ll be looking around the room to make sure no one is looking, but chances are a chick flick is really good if it makes a man cry. However, what defines a chick flick? Most people define it as a sappy love story that women will love and men will hate.

Sometimes they make good date movies depending on the content and at other times the men hide in another room because they can\’t stand all of the romantic talk and the “guy wants girl, girl shuns guy, guy aches for her, guy tries to woo her, girl still ignores him, girl finally realizes he\’s the one, guy gets girl, and all is well.” Well, that is a general story line, but some feel that all chick flicks are the same. The thing is, that\’s not true. Let\’s look at 10 that have been rated as the top 10 chick flicks that will make you cry:

1. Gone with the Wind - Of course this one is going to be number one. Everyone is aware of this timeless classic of total girl power and love.

2. Beaches - This one really takes one for a loop. Barbara Hershey and Bette Midler make everyone want to call up their best friend just to tell them they love them. The storyline is compelling, the tale of two friends allows the viewer to relate to the characters, and the commitment is just overwhelming. The end gives you Goosebumps.

3. Fried Green Tomatoes - This one is not a sappy love story at all, but another movie about what constitutes true friendships. There apparently is something about a woman and her best friend. The story tells of two young friends and their trials as Cathy Bates makes a new friend in the present.

4. Steel Magnolias - Everyone is aware of Steel Magnolias because it was one of the greatest roles Julia Roberts ever took on. It does contain a little bit of a love story, but it is about friends, family, and their love for each other and how they will stand for each other. Of course, the ending when Julia Roberts\’ character dies, the viewer is stricken with tears.

5. When Harry Met Sally- Now this one is a romantic comedy that will bring tears to your eyes. See, the sappy love story didn\’t make it until number 5, so not all chick flicks are “guy gets the girl” movies. This movie is about friends of the opposite sex realizing love exists.

6. The Women- Here is another female bonding movie that shows friendship at its finest with a circle of friends supporting each other.

7. Grey Gardens- This chick flick gives a strange look into a very strange and very intense relationship between a mother and her daughter.

8. Sabrina- Now this is a “girl wants the guy” movie and even has Sabrina attempting suicide because she wants his love so bad.

9. The Valley of the Dolls - This movie has you captivated from the beginning. Patty Duke, Sharon Tate, and Barbara Parkins takes you on a journey of drugs, death, disease, and so much more.

10. Thelma and Louise - Of course this one can\’t be left out with its tale of true female friendship. They love each other, protect each other, and they even die together.

It is not recommended that all of these movies be watched back-to-back. If they are, a special trip to the store may result in the purchase of a value pack of tissues to make it through. Whether you are into “girl power,” love stories, or true friendship, the top 10 movies has all of that for you.

If you were to buy DVDs to add to your collection, be sure to get some that will appeal to the women in your household. Be romantic and get her something that will bring tears of joy.

Small Cross Tattoos - Little Space, Big Statement

If you\’ve seen practically any movie or television show lately, you might be under the impression that certain types of people get certain types of tattoos. Women get butterflies or flowers; men get tribal armbands - at least according to the media. But if you look closely, you\’ll see that there\’s lots of flexibility, especially for small cross tattoos.

A cross tattoo is a good choice for both men and women. If you\’re a man, you might feel pressured to choose a large design. But a nice tattoo doesn\’t have to be one that covers your entire chest or back. You can make a statement that\’s equally powerful if you select a small design.

One important thing to keep in mind is that you have more freedom to choose where to place a small tattoo. Big tattoos necessarily require large patches of skin, but a small tattoo can be placed almost anywhere. If you want to place a tattoo on your arm or leg, for example, a smaller design will fit more easily than a large one.

For ladies, a small tattoo is probably the more intuitive choice. Women are usually smaller than men, so they have less skin to work with. Also, because their bodies are more curvaceous, it can be hard to find an area that can be tattooed relatively easily (and relatively painlessly)! A smaller tattoo is often seen as more feminine.

But you don\’t have to sacrifice style for size. A small tattoo can still make a big statement. Try embellishing the edges of the cross design with vines, flowers, or intricate lines. You might not be able to include an entire passage from the Bible, but you could reference the verse.

Perhaps the best way to make your small tattoo really stand out is by using color. Inks in various colors can draw attention to even the smallest of tattoos. A splash of red can be particularly dramatic. Even if you prefer the monochromatic look of black and gray inks, you can still use shading to make your tattoo really pop.

Finally, the key to being happy with your small tattoo is choosing the right place on your body. The lower back is a great choice for women, because it can draw attention to your feminine curves, but you can also cover it up for work or a trip to grandma\’s. The ankle is a great option for both men and women, especially if you\’re looking for something discreet.

Whatever tattoo design you ultimately choose, remember that you will have to live with it forever. A cross design is a great choice because it will stay strong, just like your faith. Remember that you can use color and position to customize small cross tattoos.
