How to Overcome Bipolar Depression or Mood Disorder

The intention of your anti-conscience is to destroy the conscience; therefore, you should fight its domination if you desire peace and happiness and to eliminate mood swings that are caused by it.

The anti-conscience induces you to follow absurd ideas and fantasies, giving you great enthusiasm so that you finally fall into the depths of depression when you realize that everything you thought about before was only an illusion or is not what you really want.

Before making a decision or starting to do anything you must ask yourself the following questions:

1. Why do you want to do this?

2. Will you benefit from this action?

3. How will things be for you a long time after finishing what you want to do?

This is necessary because you may be following the ideas and absurd suggestions of the anti-conscience, believing that you are being good and generous because the anti-conscience distorts reality and misleads you with the solutions it suggests.

Often, you do exactly what will put you in trouble and make you desperately want to find a way to get rid of your suffering.

You will fall into the traps of the anti-conscience and imagine that you are simply being a good friend for your friends or a good relative for your family. It never warns you about the negative consequences of your actions; instead, you feel that others will admire your actions, that you will feel great and everything will be marvelous.

However, the truth is that all these suggestions put you in horrible situations and make you feel miserable and suicidal because you got involved in them! This is why you initially will have an enthusiastic mood and great disposition, but in the end you will be totally depressed and suicidal.

Never do anything without planning and examining if it is really good for you!

The anti-conscience dominates you and lends you another personality when you follow its suggestions. This is why you have to be very careful and never do what it wants you to.

I developed a simplified version of Carl Jung’s dream interpretation. Use this method to interpret your dreams, and you will be guided and learn how to recognize the misleading suggestions of the anti-conscience, in addition to learning how to eliminate it by transforming it into a positive part of your conscience.

Your dreams provide you free and unconditional psychotherapy. You only have to learn how to decipher the mysterious dream messages to be guided by the wise unconscious that will help you completely develop your conscience. Thus, you can have control over your behavior, have a strong personality and be really happy for life.

Beating Depression and Craziness

Is Depression Stealing Your Happiness

Depression is part of everyone’s life. Some experience a down feeling for a short period of time and others for a prolonged period of time. Some people experience depression often and others seldom. If depression is experienced for long periods of time it is commonly referred to as major depression. There are several life situations that may contribute to major depression and there are resources available to deal with depression.

Depression steals your happiness and well being. Depression sufferers often have great difficulty with everyday aspects of life, such as, difficulty in organizing your thoughts, concentrating on a particular event, and with personal relationships. Life seems to be without purpose along with a feeling of being alone and that life is hopeless.

A continuing sequence of bad luck -personal disappointments- can after a period of time cause major depression. Other causes could be loss of a loved one, job loss or divorce. Depression can also result from an unbalanced diet. That is often referred to as chemical depression. Nutrition is important for maintaining your bodies electrolyte balance for good body and mental health.

Many forms of help are available. A good place to start is with your attitude. Consider this,if you continue to remind yourself of unpleasant circumstances or events,life tends to return a self fulfilling prophesy. Often a support group can be instrumental in helping to cope with depression or even alleviate the depression. Group therapy helps to understand that others experience similar problems and that you haven’t been singled out for life’s disappointments. This understanding alone can be a tremendous help in the depression battle.

Medication can also be of help in reducing depression’s hold or in elimination depression altogether. Although seemingly to be a temporary relief, medication can produce long term benefits. Medication can reduce the constant reminder of life’s or personnel disappoints that triggered the depression and allow your mind to concentrate on other life issues. Breaking the cycle of reliving personal disappointments is essential in reducing depression.

We have looked at diet as a cause of depression. A nutritional supplement of vitamins and essential minerals will work well here. Remember we need to break that everything goes wrong for me syndrome. Again we can do this by looking closely at our attitude and how we present situations to ourselves. Also at times medication may allow us to concentrate on other life issues and reduce the influence that constant depressive thoughts have had on us. Don’t let depression steal your happiness.

Use CBT To Make Yourself Feel Better

Even though it’s probably not something you think about, your mood is a huge factor in your life. Feel bad; you’ll do less, be less motivated and create less opportunities to make life better.

Thoughts can cause emotions. Seems obvious doesn’t it? But what’s not obvious is that by changing the way you think you can vastly improve how you feel. The main aim of CBT is learning to identify irrational, distorted and unhelpful thoughts and replace them with helpful ones.

Negative Automatic Thoughts
These thoughts often come from deep beliefs we have about ourselves and the world, and they are usually just one way of looking at a situation. In CBT you learn to catch these “Negative Automatic Thoughts” and challenge them. When you get good at it, you start to have less of these thoughts and as a result you feel better. You may have many negative and unhelpful thoughts every hour without noticing, causing you to have a low mood without knowing why.

Self-Monitoring
Monitor your activities hour by hour, note how much pleasure and satisfaction you got from the activity. Use this information to identify activities that are unhelpful or helpful to you, then…

Activity Scheduling
Schedule activities that give you good satisfaction early in your day. Schedule the ones that give you more pleasure later in the day.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is about combining the behaviour changing (scheduling activities etc.) and cognitive (learning to challenge irrational thoughts) parts and is seen as one of the most effective modern therapies for anxiety and depression.

Atypical Depression - My Own Experience

We have all heard the standard definition for depression. A depressed person is supposed to be often unable to perform daily activities because they don’t feel like getting out of bed. They are supposed to have at least 5 of the following symptoms: They are supposed to feel sad and have a loss of interest or pleasure in the activities they used to enjoy. They are supposed to have significant weight changes and either an inability to sleep or excessive sleep. They are supposed to be fatigued, agitated or irritated, and to feel worthless or excessively quilty. They may even think about suicide.

I looked at this list of symptoms and said “This isn’t me. I enjoy fun actvities as much as anyone else, although I don’t get to do them often enough. I don’t feel particularly sad or worthless and I certainly don’t think about suicide. I haven’t noticed any unusual change in my weight or sleep patterns. So why do I feel so lousy?” I was diagnosed about 10 years ago with moderate to severe depression. I know now that not everyone who is depressed fits that “typical” description.

I have learned that ADD and depression are similar in a lot of ways. I actually could identify with the description of adult ADD more than that of depression. Far from not having the energy to get out of bed, I wanted to do a great many things all at once, and tended to panic if I hadn’t accomplished something after half an hour. I got very upset in even minor traffic jams. I took pride in getting things done well, and enjoyed even little things, like a breeze on a summer day or a beautiful sunset.

I think I hadn’t noticed a change in my weight or sleeping because once I had
been depressed for several years my mind tricked me into believing that my mood, activity levels, and weight were normal; that this is the way I was supposed to be. I was amazed at how long it took me to even realize that something was wrong with me, that it wasn’t normal and I didn’t have to feel the way I did. It took me decades, not years.

So what have I done to help myself? After trying a few antidepressants I found I just didn’t respond to them, and I don’t like taking drugs anyway. I think psychotherapy can be very helpful if you find the right person, the one who you like and trust, and who asks you the right questions. Unfortunately it can be very expensive while you search for the right person.

I have read that depression is basically about one thing: lack of control. A person who feels like they have control over their lives and their surroundings is not depressed. I believe it is important to ask yourself what you feel you have no control over and why you feel like that. Then you can figure out how to regain control. No matter how hopeless things seem, there is always something you can do, and with some self searching you will find it.

The most important thing is to take action now, even if you don’t have all the information you need or it seems to be a bad time. Do something, anything, even if it seems to be a trivial thing. That actually is the fastest way to be successful at something so that you start to feel in control; that you can make a difference in the world. So many people wait until everything seems to be “right” and end up waiting forever to take control over some aspect of their lives. I know I did that, because I was afraid that if I made a mistake then it would be the end of the world. I now am realizing that bad results are only feedback to tell you that you need to try something else.

It is important to acquire new and more empowering beliefs about yourself and what you are capable of. You need to create new experiences that are more positive and empowering than the ones you are used to, and the only way to do that is to act now and to do something different than what you used to do. Do whatever you can do to regain your sense of control and mastery over your life. That is the key, I believe, to curing depression.

Beating Depression With the Power of What You Have Already Achieved

You know a lot of people think setting goals is bad for people with depression. You, they say, already feel down, and failing at a goal will just make you feel worse. Are they right? Hell no!

Setting realistic goals can be one of the most helpful things you can do to help your depression, and we’ll talk about that later. Right now, let’s concentrate on something a lot of people have some trouble with: how to measure your progress as you succeed in life and achieve your goals.

What do you want, and how will know when you’ve got it?

This is one of the most important questions in all goal-setting, and one of the most powerful in NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming). Humans are goal-seeking creatures, our brains are designed to picture a goal and then to achieve that goal. How do you do this?

Go to a quiet place, a place that you feel safe in. Clear your mind. Ask yourself “what do I want” Listen to what you body tells you, what your unconscious says you really want - you may be surprised, or perhaps not. I don’t know. Just listen to your inner-self.

Now you know what you want, ask “how will I know when I’ve got it?” Picture yourself archiving your goal in as much or as little details as you wish. You are in control. Your life can be like this. What do you feel, smell, hear, taste, touch, see?
Now you know what your life will be like, you can start, now, to achieve this goal.

Measuring progress
You know something a lot of people with low self-esteem or depression do is to measure where you are right now against your end goal, a goal which might be years in the future. As you see how far you have to go it’s natural, isn’t it, to feel down at the thought of how long the journey ahead is. This is not helpful.

It is important to know where you are going, but to accurately measure your progress you have to look at how far you have been: how much you have achieved. When you look back at how far you have come in the last month, year, 5 years or even just this week you will feel great about what you have achieved.

Using past successes
If you have a new goal that you’ve only just started to achieve then think of something that you can do now really well, maybe driving a car or using a web browser, and then think back to a time when you were just starting to learn. Now take the memory of the past and compare what you see, feel, what you hear and touch, smell and even taste now you can do it. Take this feeling of achievement and use the energy to get yourself started achieving your dreams.

Realistic goals
A good goal takes you from where you are now, to where you will be in the future. You can use the power of your mind to take yourself into your future now, can’t you? Write a goal down, right now. Now write down next to it where you are now, then sit quietly for a minute and you will start to see pictures, feelings or hear sounds that unlock the infinate resources of your mind to achieve your goal. It’s easy, isn’t it?

We are all goal-seeking creatures, you just need to tell your brain what you want and you will discover how you can get it, right now.

Anxius - So What Are The Real Benefits Of Anxius To You?

So we know what Anxius is, but how does it benefit us - really?

Before I wrote this I wondered if it was necessary to do so. I thought “it’s obvious what the benefits are. If the claims, word of mouth and testimonials stand up”. But then I thought “do it anyway” because often when we are depressed no matter what anyone says, it can be rejected. Otherwise we wouldn’t be depressed for too long if it was a matter of listening to words of wisdom.

It is so easy to forget that depression and anxiety and many associated illnesses are, in the main, due to chemical imbalances. The outside world sees the face and body moving normally, hears the common courtesies and conversations but they don’t see inside our head!

So, maybe if you are feeling low whilst reading this, and this is the 50th time you have had someone telling you how you can feel better, maybe you will “feel” it. Maybe a small part of you will awake, be prompted into realizing you can BE better.

Sometimes we can forget the impact of one small, yet significant change, in our lives. If taking a herbal based antidepressent can change how we wake in the morning, then there is a whole day of more potential change in thought process and action.

If you are feeling depressed whilst reading this and the benefits don’t create a sparkle in you, that’s Ok.

If you have the energy to be reading this then you have the energy to try something ( ie: go to the shops, the internet wherever and try a herbal remedy) even though you may not actually feel like changing. You only have to agree with the logic that if your mood was different you wouldn’t be feeling what you are now. The best part about this is that with herbal formulas like Anxius there are no side effects so there is nothing to lose.

As mentioned previously, no one can see or feel what you do, so whatever your course of action or inaction just be mindful that you will always have another chance.

Depression and Craziness

Many people have the impression that all we need to be happy are the proper conditions for a decent life - most of which can be bought with money. However, the truth is quite the opposite, because depression doesn’t appear only in response to tragic events or horrible life conditions. This means that even if we lived in a perfect paradise, we still would have many depressed individuals in our society, although nothing really tragic had happened to them.

It happens because the human being is already crazy from birth. Only a very tiny part of his conscience is at all developed, with human characteristics. The rest is in a wild and archaic state.
So, we shouldn’t only blame the world for our depressed society. The world the human being makes provokes his depression, because the human being is naturally absurd. This world is the result of his insanity: he only cares for his own desires, he doesn’t respect nature and he doesn’t care about some factors that have an extreme impact on his own happiness.

However, terrible things happening far away from his own home still affect his life because they are happening in his environment, and are a threat against him too. Because he is absurd, though, he thinks he can live in a separate paradise, with everything to make him happy. Even in a place where so many people are suffering because they don’t have the proper conditions of life, they are amidst wars, they are being abused, they are starving… If he was balanced and sensitive he would care about other people’s suffering as he cares about what happens to his own kids.

He would also understand that he can’t always be laughing. Nothing is easy, and many times he has to suffer so that he may save somebody, solve some problem, or avoid provocatory problems… There are many things in daily life that demand from him the acceptance of sadness and suffering.
However, the human being not only has a wrong conception of reality that causes him depression, and he is not only a victim of the absurd world he constructed - he also has innate psychological problems that impede his reaching psychical health and living happily. The mistakes he makes by following the inherited behaviour patterns of his psychological type push him around craziness’s labyrinth.

There are two positions from which the human being sees reality: the introverted and extroverted types, which are polar opposites. A person can only be considered completely balanced and psychically healthy once they’ve developed both positions and attitudes. If he has a penchant for one or the other, he is already unbalanced.

He has four psychological functions (thoughts, feelings, sensations and intuitions) through which he understands his world and his own personal desires. However, only one of them is well developed, one is only half developed and the other two functions are not working, as if they were dead. They are in an archaic, childish condition.

What happens because of this? He makes mistakes because he is either extroverted and doesn’t pay attention to his own opinion about reality and how it affects him; or he is introverted, disconnected with objective reality and the material world.

Then he makes more mistakes because he lives based only in his thoughts, without feelings and sensations, and only a bit of intuition to help with decisions. Or, his life is based on his feelings and constant desire for pleasure, without having any serious and objective thoughts in his mind and without understanding the existence of factors that cannot be justified by logic.

So, he is pre-condemned to feel depressed some day. Someday he’ll have to face the consequences of the mistakes he made because he didn’t examine reality and his own psychical structure completely. He only saw a part of reality, according to what his personality type let him examine. Or, he didn’t understand what was happening inside himself and he didn’t care to learn about it, because his psychological type despises the subjective judgment of reality.
Despite their disuse, the functions he didn’t develop are not really dead. They are alive, only submerged. Some day, according to what will happen with him, they will come to the consciousness’s surface, changing his behaviour drastically. When the archaic and childish content of his psychical sphere invades his consciousness, he starts losing control of his behaviour and doing strange and crazy things.

In the end, he can only feel desperate and depressed seeing how many mistakes he made, and especially, how all these mistakes ruined his life.
If these mistakes are too serious and he can’t correct them, he cannot forgive himself. This leads to more severe mental illness and deeper depression, far beyond neurosis, that cannot be ever cured.

The solution for our depressed society and each depressed individual has to be psychotherapy, without a doubt!
When everybody is sensitive and sensible, we won’t be as absurd as we are now… the world will change, for sure. Eventually, through learning, working and understanding, everybody will find their own happiness.

During my studies, I came across Carl Jung’s method of deciphering dreams, which helped me and urged me to continue his research into the unknown regions of our psychical sphere. I set my poetry aside and began to compile my findings. I sought to prove that Jung had discovered the proper method of interpretation of dreams. This exercise actually taught me many things, and I continued to pursue Jung’s research into the analysis of dreams. Learn more at http://www.booksirecommend.com/

Durian for Depression? Scientists Remove Odor From Seratonin-Enhancing Fruit

Scientists have managed to strip durian, a Southeast Asian delicacy known as the king of fruit, of its signature funky aroma. This is great news for people suffering from depression or anxiety disorders, as Durian contains high levels of tryptophan, which raises serotonin levels in the brain. An increase in serotonin levels have been shown to enhance mood, even resulting in feelings of euphoria. Researchers have also found tryptophan to be helpful to people suffering from insomnia, anxiety and/or depression.

Benefits of Durian include:
–Mood elevation
–Increased libido (aphrodisiac)
–Enhanced sense of optimism
–A calming, stress-relieving effect
–Increased energy and metabolism, and
–Support for overall health

Known as the “king of fruits”, Durian has long been revered in Asia. It’s nutritional profile is so complete that in Malaysia, one tribe lives on nothing but Durian for weeks at a time. Despite it’s nutritional pedigree, until now Durian has been shunned by many because of it’s noxious odor.

Indeed, no product of nature has endured as much “fruit slander” as this much-maligned Asian. The victim of much pithy prose, the smell of Durian has been described as similar to:

–garlic steeped in jet fuel
–turpentine and onions, garnished with a unwashed gym socks
–French custard passed through a sewer pipe
–rotten onions with limburger cheese and low-tide seaweed
–a city dump on a hot summer day, and
–carrion in custard

These are in addition to the more benign smell descriptions of skunk spray, used surgical swabs, skunk spray, rotting fish, and kind of a “stinky splendor”. So noxious is the fruit’s aroma that it’s banned from Singapore’s subways, not to mention many public places in Asia.

Thankfully, individuals who desire the serotonin-raising benefits of the Tryptophan-rich fruit can now drink Durian juice without the odor. Die-hard Durian lovers have long appreciated the incredible flavor of this fruit, which has been described as “as a combination of sensuous banana pudding, with a touch of butterscotch, vanilla, peach, pineapple, strawberry and almond.” For the rest of us, whose noses won’t let us close enough to try this delicious fruit, there is now an odorless, health-enhancing Durian beverage.

Adolescence Suicide - Encumbrances of Ambition Part-7

Teenagers and youths are gold mines of a Nation, more they are pulverize better they shine” My dear Ezine readers, I am sad to discuss that while I was preparing for this article, I heard a bad news of a teenager ending his life due to teacher’s apathy in the school. Anyhow though world would not come to standstill with one more suicide but certainly hell have broken loose on poor parent? After going through many clipping and television news, I concluded that both parent and teachers were to be blamed for increased communication between the boy and them. Had anyone made little extra efforts in interacting with the teenagers, he would have been alive?

Today once again, I am with you to debate as to how should teenagers cop up with stress engendered by ambitious parents? I have categorized parents in four categories with respect to their ambitions; and as to what they want to make their teenager wards:

· One; Customary Parents (CP). Customary Parents are those parents who are

have low to middle income but enough landed property to sustain entire family with out stress of earning livelihood. Such parent’s normally rely more on destiny and believe in philosophy of Karma (deeds) that work is worship and Do Your Best (DYB) & Leave Result to God (LRG). While interacting with a group of parents during Parent-Teacher meet, I have observed that over 75% parents exhibited normal ambition. They believed that their teenagers should work hard and Leave Result to God. Such parent’s children perform exceedingly well and they generally form over 75% youth force cadre of any country government, forces and officials. Only one case of suicide has been noted so far of such parents. These parents, 1) believe their child should do his best with out compromising and risking his health; 2) remain in constant touch with their wards both at home and school; 3) guide their wards regularly to face the challenges and hardship of studies; 4) keep strict financial check on their wards; 5) ensure their wards are not following any bad company. Such parents are generally in the Would frame of mind. They believe that if their wards have achieved what they want, it is blessings; otherwise whatsoever wards do, they would be accepted. CP is traditionally and socially very rigid and expects same from wards to follow in family hierarchy. CP, thus, produces no stress on their wards but they are very sensitive to their customs and traditions. Barely .5% teenagers who committed suicide are from CP group of people.

· Two; Anomalous Parents (AP). Anomalous parents (AP) are those who live

between middle to high income group. Such parents often remain busy to meet their livelihood. It is seen that both mother and father are working in very odd hours. They normally find difficult to spare enough time to be with their wards but still make an attempt to meet them during week ends and holidays/leave days. The take proper care of their wards but exhibit common ambition and goal. They expect their wards to follow a particular way of life and should achieve the same. They are uncertain and impromptus in their approach. Their behavior is unpredictive and short temper. They sudden release their anger and began to scold their wards very badly on minor faults. Such teenagers become very sensitive and often found to be committing suicide. Teenagers remain under low to highest levels of stresses. Whenever, teenagers face highest level of stress they often commit suicide. AP believe in Could frame of mind of acceptance. They always think why their ward could not achieve and thus increase the stress level by often scolding and over monitoring. 3% teenagers from this group take away their lives. Every third teenagers out of ten who committed suicide is ward of AP.

· Three; Highly Ambitious Parent (HAP). Highly Ambitious Parents (HAP) are

those who have worked overnight to achieve some place in the society through dedicated hard work and sincere efforts. They do not believe in destiny and follow the misnomer by thinking that they are the destiny makers or they are self made people. They often boast about their achievements and try to show their position and status. While living an articulated life, such parents often expect and demand similar efforts in studies and other spheres of life from their wards. My study has revealed that over 91% teenagers of such parents are always under mild to middle levels of stresses during normal way of living. However, HAP teenagers suffer from moderate to high levels of stresses before, during and after examinations of 10th and 12th standards. HAP has Should Frame of mind. Under no circumstances such parents allow their wards to rest and they try to ensure that their wards should achieve whatsoever HAP selected for them. They crush teenagers between their teenagers capabilities and their unfulfilled ambition thus forcing them to commit suicide due fear of failure to live up to their parents expectations. The rate of suicide of HAP teenagers is nearly 4%. Readers have to analyze that out of every ten suicide, over four teenagers belong to such HAP.

· Four; Over Ambitious Parent (OAP). Over Ambitious Parents are often found

to be over committed themselves. They are having high to super high level of income but still believe themselves the destiny makers. They impose very severe to highly severe degree of demands from their teenagers. To fulfill their ambitions, they arrange tuition, extra coaching and what not to ensure that their wards are buried under the stress of study. Infact by arranging numerous subjects’ tuition, they really ruin their wards health through unplanned study schedule. I have observed that most of the wards of such parents are either using spectacles or they too thin or pumpkin size due to lack of regular exercises and physical inactivity. Such parents do no give any calm hearing to their teenagers. First OAP does not find time to be with their wards and whatsoever time they find, they want to spent coaching or giving away their mind as to what they expect from them? Such OAP teenagers are either totally without stress or under high stress condition. OAP are always under Must frame of mind. They believe that their wards have no option to become what OAP has thought for them to be. Their teenagers have to become whatsoever OAP want. Doctors, engineers, lawyers and various other professionals fall under this category. Nearly 2.5% teenagers committed suicides are from OAP group of families. What I mean to say that between two to three teenagers committed suicide are from OAP families. After analyzing various types of parents, I would now debate about various levels of stresses which such parents advertently or inadvertently generate on their wards.

· Low Level Stress (LLS). The low level of stress is defined as the disturbed

state of mind of teenagers due to sudden change in demands from parents or environment to be fulfilled for which he is either less prepared or unprepared. Generally teenagers of CP and some what AP of low ambition parents fall under such level of stress. Despite of low levels, CP rebuke and scold teenagers once in life with such an authority that over .5% teenagers still fail to face the challenges and take away their lives. Generally teenager live very normal life but they still feel afraid of sudden burst of anger of parents. Such teenagers live both careful and carefree life. Such teenagers are unpredictable and generally remain happy social and amicable. They are impromptu while committing suicide. Parents have to be cautious while scolding for examination results.

· Moderate Level Stress (MLS). The Moderate Level Stress (MLS) is defined as

the stable and unsteady state of mind of teenagers with respect to their parents’ ambitions during their teens. Teenagers of AP generally fall under this category. Teenagers of AP are always under constant stress of performing well in studies. They exhibit the sign of stress during their studies through facial expression. They always remain under worries of performing well and live up to their parents’ ambitions. Such teenagers though generally remain under LLS but exhibit MLS before and during examinations. Such teenagers traits are to leave food, feel less hungry, show repeated sign of not remembering their subject, often feeling stressed of looking blank and frequently calling to discuss their best friend for advice or to know some problems solutions. When parents find above noted traits please think that your teenager is suffering from MLS. I suggested to

o Immediately interact with your teenager;

o Find out his real cause of worry

o Make your teenagers believe that your ambition is his challenge to fulfill and not the order to suffer stress;

o Counsel your teenager daily as to how to attempt answers;

o Ensure to share some lighter moments of life during study hours;

o Mother to ensure personal touch while offering food and giving milk during late night studies of your teenagers;

o If need be one of the parent should take leave and be with wards during examinations.

· High Level Stress (HLS). High Level Stress is defined as the permanent

disturbed state of mind of a teenager due to which he generally exhibits changed behavior amongst his colleagues and fearsome traits from parents. The symptoms of fear, worry and anxiety are always present in such teenagers conduct and behavior. They reflect very timid nature and rarely mix up with general colleagues. The teenagers of HAP suffer from what I call is Frequent Appearing Worrisome Syndrome (FAWS). Such teenagers become very sensitive and timid. When ever sign of frequent collapsing, too much submissiveness, always worries about studies, take less interests in physical activities and do not mix up with colleagues think your teenagers is suffering from HLS. Moreover such teenagers generally breakdown as and when they are unable to find solution to a problem. They loss appetite, show lack of crave for food; always show total concern for study and fear of not performing well. I suggest that if you note above traits take following actions;

o Interact regularly on daily basis with your ward;

o Make sure your teenager does not misunderstands your ambition with his goals;

o Ensure your teenagers does not fear you if he does not perform as per your expectations;

o Most important assist your teenagers in warding of his apprehensions and fears about your ambitions;

o Finally dedicate your leave and full time to your teenager during examinations;

o Never remind your teenagers as to how much you spent on tuitions and extra coaching during or after examinations. It is possible that your financial information might force him to commit suicide when your teenager could not come up to your expectations.

o Strictly adhere to reward and punishment policy rigidly so that your teenager does not feel afraid of severe punishments than rewards.

· Absolute Level Stress (ALS). Absolute Level Stress (ALS) is defined as the state of

mind of a teenager when he always exhibits signs of agony, apprehension, panic, fretfulness,

fear and nervousness through the time for performing well in studies. Such teenagers always speak about their studies and try to become bookish worm during studies. Their parents either want such teenagers to join their line of profession or follow a line which they could not achieve in life. OAP generally breakdown their teenagers before and during examinations. Over 75% teenagers of OAP often suffer from ill health and under nourishment. Such teenagers reflect irritating and repulsive behaviors. They do not want to be disturbed and remain isolated. They often neglect food and try to eat minimum just to survive during examinations. If such symptoms are seen, rest assures your teenager is suffering from ALS. As it is such teenagers suffer from ALS through out the year, I suggest the following preventive measures both by parents and teachers;

o First of all define your ambition to teenagers as his challenge and not the commitment to achieve;

o Interact daily before and during examinations;

o Try to share lighter moment with your teen during off hours;

o Ensure your teenager share one meal with the family during day;

o Always remind your teenagers that his achievements are desired but not at the cost of his health or life;

o Never give money to teenagers to go and have fun rather take him on picnic with family to refresh his mind from studies once a week;

o Asses and know your teenager’s capabilities first and then disclose your ambitions;

Once parents have understood the capabilities of their teenagers, I am very sure

that they would restrict their ambition to what their teenager could achieve, thus, falling in the categories of CP. I also urge that:

· One; parents should not impose their own dreams on their teenagers;

· Two; should facilitate their teenagers to become good human beings rather materialistic toy machine of work;

· Three; share lighter veins moments with your teenagers once a week;

· Four; never let your teenagers feel afraid of you; and

· Five; make sure your teenagers takes your ambitions as your challenge and forced ambitions.

I hope if my Ezine readers are able to spread my message we would be able to

distinguish between parents having Could, Would, Should and Must ambition approaches and take suitable preventive measures to save their teenagers from Scourge of Teenagers Suicide (STS).

I will cover a few other educational stresses on teenagers in my next article. Readers’ views are solicited at som_kalpna@yahoo.com somu1957@hotmail.com

Depression And Anxiety - Break The Chains And Live Again

Yes I have been there as well, and I am still a sufferer, just on a lesser scale. You are probably reading this article because you have these symptoms or you know of someone that does for whom you care about. Its a long road let me tell you, If you had asked me 6 months ago if I had suffered from anxiety(I mean really bad anxiety) I would probably have looked at you funny! It can really creep up on you.

Now lets talk about how things can change seemingly so quick. You may be able to relate to these. Driving to work at 7 a.m. working all day not knowing when you’re day will end, maybe you will work 8, 9 or even 10 hours today. Having your boss or bosses breathing down your neck about when you will be done with a particular project. Then the end of the day finally arrives and you need to rush to complete the required tasks for the day. So you have won the daily battle at work and know it is time to tackle rush hour traffic! boy I can’t wait just when I thought I was home free!

I am sure a lot of you can relate to this type of work routine and most will have no problem with this, but sooner or later some of us just can’t do it and it will eventually catch up to us, as it did with me.

You won’t even realize it because it is so gradual, and then boom it will hit you like a freight train. I had no idea what was happening to me. Was I going to die? was I having a heart attack? No but I did develop panic attacks caused by excessive work related stress and anxiety.

Your body will send you signs that there are going to be attacks if something doesn’t change and here is what symptoms I was having so listen up. Now I have left my last job about 6 months ago and when I look back at how I felt(I mean from a physical standpoint) I can tell you I was very irritable, my skin became very itchy and I was very sensitive to light and sounds. Perhaps you can relate to this as well.

So this was my body trying to tell me that something is wrong. This is referred to as the Fight or Flight state that is in all of us. It is very similar to when you would be face to face with a giant bear on his hind legs roaring at you as he is about to have you for lunch! You see your body really doesn’t know the difference, it has the same effect from a physical standpoint.

I would like to close by saying that I do not wish to scare anybody with this information but to only make those aware of what is possible if you are feeling extremely stressed out with high anxiety. If you are feeling any of these symptoms I have talked about here, you may be headed for panic-disorder, just keep this in mind and try to change your current environment/situation whatever it may be.

I have wrote this article to inform my readers of what conditions can lead to panic-disorder. If you are looking for more information on this topic I recommend you look at the products featured on this site: http://www.ebbnutritionmall.net
