Home Based Business - MLM

In view of fierce global competition and incessant arrival of new entrants in the business arena, the existing companies are trying to stay competitive, seeking synergies by way of mergers and acquisitions, achieving internal efficiencies, utilizing technology to achieve competitive edge over competition, focusing on better customer care and the least desirable of all corporate actions, by downsizing. We see news that major companies are planning to lay off employees in view of the top and bottom line shrinkage, therefore, we see capable and experienced people without employment and those who are employed have no assurance of continuity of their jobs.

There is a very simple solution to this problem. Join an MLM (Multi Level Marketing) or NM (Network Marketing) company and promote their products and services. In that case, you don’t have to leave your job and no funds get stuck in inventory as you merely facilitate a sale transaction without taking possession of the item purchased through you. In other words, you are a salesman called IR (Independent Representative) but you are not an employee of the company you represent but a franchisee or business owner and get commissions on sale of products and services. You can appoint new IR’s under you but you don’t get any commission for merely appointing a new IR, commissions are paid on sale of actual goods or services.

In a typical manufacturing setup, the flow of goods is like, Company–Distributor– Wholesaler–Retailer–Consumer. So, if you see, the distribution cost is massive owing to a very long supply chain and inventory is carried all the way through, adding cost at each level. In an MLM or NM company, this flow is almost direct, i.e. Company–stockist (Who is the network marketing company)–Representative- Consumer. As you can see, the company eliminates the middlemen and distributes lucrative commissions among Independent Representatives according to the quantum of their efforts, i.e. sales volume / value achieved by them.

You will notice that the inventory flow is from the stockist (NM Company) to consumer straight. You as an Independent Representative will only facilitate the transaction and will neither pay for nor hold inventory. The product will move from the company to customer. You will not only get commissions on sale but will also get part of the commissions on all sales by new Representatives that you appoint under you. Plus, this will not stop there you’ll continue getting commissions all your life if you continue working and that will automatically transfer to your spouse or anyone you enlist as beneficiary.

Now, I take you along a logical flow, What, Why, How, and When

1- What - I have already explained to you about the concept. You can become an IR (Independent Representative) by joining any genuine, fast growing and dynamic company.

2 - Why - To gain financial freedom. If you do it part time but seriously, you can generate the amount equivalent your current salary. But on top of that, you’ll continue getting residual income all your life and even after that because the organization of sales personnel (Independent Representatives) that you will create below you will continue working, selling the products and services worldwide. I believe you pay less taxes in this business compared to employment where the tax is mostly deducted at source. Therefore, it’s a business that you can transfer to your beneficiary, unlike employment.

-A secure future

-It can be done from your home, anywhere in the world.

-There is no need to carry inventory

-Large Sales force working for you

-Time leverage - Many people doing your job, e.g. 50 people X number of hours they work per week is actually counted as your output.

3 - How - By joining the company as Independent Representative (IR) and later by appointing two directs under you to continue building a robust organization of active and dynamic people. All those joining the group are owner of their own franchise and are in reality the Franchisee or Business Owners.

4 - When – Whenever you feel you are convinced and ready for action.

Now I list some FAQ’s that may come to your mind.

Q- Is this a legitimate business?
A- Yes. If the company you represent is legitimate then it is legitimate, and a highly lucrative proposition as well.

Q- Can I do it part time?
A- Yes. But, in order to be financially independent, you need to do it seriously. And you will see the benefits pouring in quickly that alone will motivate you to jack up your efforts. By seriously I mean you put in 5 to 8 hours a week, your free time of course.

Q- Does it require some initial investment?
A- Yes, around US $ 600 to register and qualify. It means you must either sell or buy one of the company’s products. That’s it. After that, you need to invest your free time only. If you manage to sell the product to someone else, in that case all you need is the registration fee which is nominal, around US $ 10 and is renewed on an annual basis.

Q- Is there any chance that I will fail?
A- The only chance of failing in Network Marketing is that you give up. There is no other way you will fail.

Q- Do I get any commissions for recruiting people?
A- No. You don’t get any commissions by recruiting people alone. In this business, you must make an organization of your own who must promote the company products and services. Suppose, you recruit two directs under you and they work one hour daily. In that case, your output would be 3 hours a day (1 yours and 2 of those under you and so on so forth). If you have 100 people working under you then you have an output of 100 hours on a daily basis if each IR in your organization works 1 hour every day. That is the gist of it

Q- Is it true that people make enough money in this business that enables them to leave their jobs?
A- Yes. Many people are doing it full time. They first established themselves in this business and then left their jobs. In the first six months you will have an idea as to when you can safely quit your job.

Q- What if I relocate to another country?
A- That is not a problem. Only intimate the company about the change of address by updating your account details so that the payment checks (cheques) will be delivered to your new address. You can maintain your virtual office and can create your own free website for business purposes.

Q- Once in, can I start with my family members and friends?
A- That’s what you should ideally do, because that way you are ensuring their future earnings as well. And secondly it is easier to convince a potential customer who trusts you.

Q- What is the period required to get financial freedom, i.e. generating equivalent or more than my current monthly earnings?
A- I think the gestation period is around two years but it really depends. If you are a hardcore salesperson, you may do it quickly. Women somehow have been proven to do better in this business.

Q- Why do I need to buy a product? It seems that the products are not saleable and the company only wants to sell them to those who join it as IR.
A- To sell any product or service, you must have total confidence in it. If you have tried a particular dish in a restaurant for example, you can recommend it to your friends and family and they will trust you and may try it as well.

Q- Is it a get-rich-quick scheme?
A- No. This is Personal Selling. The only distinction is that in this business you become the owner of the business and can create your own organization.

Q- Shall I start getting commissions on sales after becoming an IR?
A- Its a three stage process, 1) You register by paying nominal annual registration fee, 2) You either sell or buy a company product to qualify, 3) You either sell two more products or appoint two new IR’s who must qualify, i.e. buy or sell one of the company products and your account gets activated. You start receiving commissions on sales after this step.

3 Keys To Attracting MLM Leaders

What is the fastest way to grow your MLM business?

Well it is no secret that if you are able to attract and sponsor experienced networkers to your opportunity then you have a great chance of accelerating your progress.

Recently I had the good fortune to witness my upline achieve the seemingly impossible when they reached the upper ranks of the payplan in only 6 months.

Now granted they worked extremely hard to do so but there had to be something more to it than that, right?

So I sat down with them and asked them what are they doing to fast track their results.

Here is what they said …

‘Sponsor MLM Leaders!’

Thats it …

Simple really …

They went out and focused all of their sponsoring efforts on finding the best MLM Leaders they could.

The results speak for themselves!

So taking their advice I thought to myself … who do I know that is an MLM leader that is not already
in the opportunity I was in.

Sadly I was not that well connected in MLM circles so I needed to create a SYSTEM to attract them to me.

Within a short period of time I sponsored a number of very successful networkers and my business grew at a far greater rate than I could have done without them.

Here is the exciting thing …

When you sponsor MLM leaders they will also go and sponsor other MLM leaders because they understand the value in doing so.

Now I know that most of the above is probably not news to you … you already know that if you can just
sponsor a couple of MLM super stars everything would be okay ….

But the question is …

How do you sponsor MLM leaders?

Well here is how you don’t do it …

You don’t do it by going to them with a mine is better than yours approach … that will never work.

You don’t sponsor them by using push marketing techniques.

You don’t do it by using a one hit wonder approach.

What you need to do is ATTRACT mlm leaders to you and over a period of time develop a relationship with them.

When the time is right the opportunity may emerge to discuss your company with them but not before.

So focus on attracting MLM leaders to you, build a database of them and then build a relationship with the people in your database.

The three keys to ATTRACTING MLM leaders are:

1. You must have an ATTRACTIVE opportunity. Most MLM leaders are looking for an early stage company that has a solid chance of going into momentum. All MLM leaders know that wealth is built in momentum.

2. You must have an ATTRACTIVE MINDSET. If you are not the sort of person that they want to work with, and if they don’t believe you are the type of leader they want to work with then you have no chance of sponsoring quality MLM leaders. Work on your mindset as a priority.

3. You must have an ATTRACTIVE SYSTEM. Nearly all MLM leaders recognise that a better SYSTEm will enable them to build their business to profit faster. So if you can demonstrate that you are using a superior system to the one they are working with then you have a great chance of attracting them.

Key number 3 is critical to attracting high quality MLM leaders. The best way to demonstrate you have a better system is to make contact with them through your system.

In other words … if they come across your system first and you second as a result then this is very engaging for a MLM leader.

So if you want to accelerate your growth then work on these three keys!

Reversing The MLM Sponsoring Process!

If you ask the average networker what is their greatest challenge in their networking business most would reply …

PERSONALLY SPONSORING!

The truth is most people who get into network marketing are not equipped with the skills to attract quality prospects to their opportunity, and lead them to their own logical point of conclusion.

It is also true that few people joining have sufficient influence within their warm market to personally sponsor enough people to reach the higher levels of their companies compensation plan.

One of the great failings of our industry is how we teach people the sponsoring process.

As a result we see the average networker sponsoring 3 to 5 people personally with most eventually dropping out.

The reality is you need to personally sponsor 25 to 50 people as a minimum to enjoy success in network marketing. Some would say even more personal sponsoring is required.

So what goes wrong?

Why is that the one skill we most need to enjoy success is also the one we are most challenged by?

Well from my observation and experience we have the entire sponsoring process back to front.

When we join a network marketing opportunity we are taught to make a list of everyone we know in the world and then approach all of these people about our opportunity.

The approach can be through sending people to a website, giving them an audio CD, or DVD to watch, or inviting them to an opportunity meeting.

This is the standard approach taught in most network marketing companies today.

Does it work?

Well not entirely no …

As we have already discussed the average person in networking struggles to sponsor more than a handful of people.

I know this was the case for me. I failed in network marketing four times using this standard approach to sponsoring. At most I sponsored five people personally and none of them duplicated the process.

Then I decided that there is no point continuing with an approach that is not working regardless of what my upline or sponsor tells me … if its not working then its just not working.

So I studied the principles of marketing and then applied them to my business … in effect what I did was reverse the sponsoring process.

What I discovered was that the traditional sponsoring system taught in network marketing is in fact a PUSH marketing approach. This is where you push your opportunity out into the marketplace in general.

The big problem is that so few people are looking for an opportunity … in fact I suspect it is 1 to 2% of
people are looking right now for an opportunity like yours.

What this means is that you are pushing your opportunity onto 98% of the people who are not looking.

Many networkers, when push marketing does not work, move to begging, pleading and persuading as sponsoring tactics. Its no wonder that networking has in the past earnt the wrong reputation.

The whole sponsoring process breaks down with only a few people rising to the upper levels of a compensation plan.

When I finally understood that in order to sponsor more people I had to ATTRACT them to me … literally PULL them to me and my opportunity, everything changed for me. My ability to personally sponsor increased dramatically and it led me onto success.

So I worked on how to reverse the sponsoring process!

Today I have people contacting me about my opportuntiy rather than me contact them.

Today I have people selling themselves on the opportunity rather than me having to sell them.

Today I have a growing database of potential new business partners that makes me a profit rather than paying for expensive leads from lead companies.

Today I literally have a stream of highly qualified prospects for my business opportunity rather than a warm list that I am busy crossing people off.

It became possible for me when I reversed the sponsoring process. When I focused on PULL marketing rather than PUSH marketing.

It is understanding a few basic marketing principles, and some universal laws that govern success, and then applying them in a systematic way.

Here are some clues to creating a PULL marketing system that will enable you to sponsor more people:

1. Stop marketing your opportunity up front. If you lead with your opportunity you narrow down your visibility in the market place.

2. Learn how to target market. Different groups of people are looking for different things. There is no one approach that fits all. You must understand who your target market really is and how to appeal to them.

3. Focus on building your database first, relationships with this database second, and sponsoring third. Most people focus on sponsoring first and never build a database which is a huge mistake.

4. Understand what is attractive to potential business partners. Here is a hint … its not your opportunity!
What is attractive is giving information that is of value that will help people improve their lives.

5. Position your opportunity at the right point within the marketing funnel.

6. Create automated systems that allow your prospects to sell themselves on your opportunity. Never sell your opportunity directly.

7. Sell the system … many people have been in networking and dropped out. They would love to have success but like me know that the old system does not work. So spend more time selling your prospects the PULL marketing system.

If you can understand these steps and learn how to apply them into your business then you can reverse the sponsoring process, attract highly qualified leads to you, and sponsor more people.

Understanding and mastering this can take time. The fast track to success is to find the right mentor or teacher who has successfully implemented such a system and work closely with them.

How To Choose The Right Network Marketing Business

We have come a long way in business of network marketing. Twenty years ago, we did what was called the “curiosity approach” whereby you couldn’t tell anyone what the business was about let alone the name of the company! The reason for such secretiveness is because it wasn’t as popular as today. Now, it is a whole new game plan. Network marketers announce their business to the world!

Today there are literally hundreds of profitable companies available, but which one do you choose! Most companies have a welcoming website, great support, conference calls and a good product.

After 20 years of searching for good companies, I have been disillusioned more than once, but the training, the skills, and the know-how in working with people and developing a business has far superceded anything I could have asked for. Lessons learned pay off for future endeavors. So, if you’re truly committed and follow the basic steps, you should have a lot of fun and make tons of money.

So how do you find the right business? What’s it going to take and what are the chances of success? Here are some pointers you need to evaluate before moving forward.

1. Check out the product or service. Learn about the product and do some research on the company, its reputation, and what the demand is for such a product or service. The income potential shouldn’t be the only thing to consider. You want to find something unique and an upcoming trend to leverage the potential to its max. Ask how the top-notch income earners are promoting and growing their business and decide if you fit in.

2. Make sure you can work with your sponsor or upline. Some companies only communicate via e-mail. For some, that’s not enough. Having support is of utmost importance so you need to be assured that you’re going to have the leadership, tools and training it takes to be successful.

3. How unique is the product or service and is their a demand for such? It’s extremely important in choose a company that offers something unique and outstanding. If you’re not excited about it, forget it. Don’t try to convince yourself. We all know there are multiple companies with similar products that backed up by fabulous testimonials and incredible income potentials. If you’re new to network marketing, do your own research as to whether there are other products similar. The less competitive, the better for you!

4. Once you’ve done your due diligence, don’t procrastinate. Make a choice and move forward and jump in feet first! The more time you spend trying to figure it all out, the more reasons you’ll find NOT to do it or a friend or family member will talk you out of it. Having your own business is a big step, but network marketing makes it easy to do so with low overhead, home-based tax deductions, a minimal investment, and great potential to grow a dynasty.

5. This is a people business so if you don’t like talking, relating, sharing or helping others, this is probably not the business for you. Though some companies don’t require much time spent with other reps, most companies offer conference calls that you’ll want to call and participate.

6. Make a game plan with goals and day-to-day journals of where you want to be and what you’re going to do to get there. Don’t re-invent the wheel, but instead, follow the leader. Remember, there’s no free lunch—it does take work. The beauty of the business is that you work hard without much pay at the beginning….work less later and be financially independent.

Network marketing is the one business that gives you the opportunity to actually become a millionaire! So, get going and keep your eye on the goal and don’t ever allow anyone to discourage you. Stay around winners, and you’ll attract it into your life. Surround yourself with high-energy people, and it will rub off. Do what it takes, never quit, and your dreams will come true beyond your wildest imagination!

The Home Business Boom

The home business industry has seen a stupendous growth over these years. To millions of people across the world, it has provided a high earning potential with great tax advantages, residual income that is unheard of in any other business model and a lifestyle that they have always wished for. The investors on the Wall Street are silently observing it, top notch traditional companies have adopted its wonderful model, and the experts and the media have only been writing unstoppably about the tremendous power of the revolutionary shift that has happened over the decades.

According to the economist Paul Zane Pilzer, multi-level marketing is already more than a 100 billion dollar industry, expected to grow to a trillion dollars by 2010. The Fortune magazine writes – it’s an investor’s dream and an industry with steady annual growth, healthy cash flows, and long-term prospects for global expansion.

Home business has given people a huge opportunity to generate incomes with low risks and financial commitments. People in this business have advantages that no other business can provide – it is a travel free, time saving and schedule free business that has been adopted by them for its unique mechanism. It is a source of alternative income that people have explored to make the right use of their capabilities.

It tells you how the fortunes of the new millennium will be created in the Wellness Industry.

People have looked beyond the ordinary aspects while moving into the network marketing businesses. It is the financial independence that they have been craving for which they could find in here.
Paul Zane Pilzer informs that close to 13 million Americans and another 57 million people in different parts of the world are currently involved in this business. The industry has seen a magnificent growth in the past two decades with about 80% growth in the last decade alone. The figure for the US market itself is approximately 30 billion dollars and a total of 105 billion dollars worldwide. Paul, in his book – ‘The Next Millionaires’, goes on to say that in the next ten years (starting 2006), there would be 10 million new millionaires in the US alone!

With the rapid changes happening in the economies of the nations, survival is getting increasingly difficult by each passing year. Network marketing has come as a respite to people looking for a back-up career. For many others, it has provided a ground to unearth their own unused talents.

How Come So Many Sensible, Hard-Working People Join Network Marketing Companies? Here’s A Clue

If you work for a boss, picture this:

It’s 2 p.m. Your morning evaporated in a flurry of phone calls and interruptions. You worked through lunch on plastic coffee to get an urgent job finished. Now you breathe a sigh of relief, grab another coffee, and reflect on your life as it is at this moment.

On the whole, it’s fine on the surface, but… a few things are nagging at you.

Four years into this job, and despite doing everything they asked, and more — something just doesn’t feel right. For one thing, you’re not as enthusiastic as you were when you started. You’re in a rut, the bills are piling up, and you don’t feel that you’re being paid what you’re worth.

“Hey,” you think, “this isn’t what I signed up for. How come Riley got that promotion — I should have MY name on that door. Just because he’s been here longer! I get in early, I stay late, I’m loyal, I do good work, but nobody notices.”

“What’s wrong with these people?” you ask yourself. “Unless you serve your time, and toe the company line, there’s no way forward. Creative solutions don’t seem to count. Being a little bit entrepreneurial just seems to make the higher-ups feel threatened.”

You think about your home life, and your career goals. About how much you’ve had to compromise over the last ten years. (Or twenty years. Or thirty.) What happened to the comfortable income, the snazzy sports car, the exotic vacations, the ideal relationship you used to imagine?

Your look at your boss, and his boss, and hers…

Is that who you want to be, after you’ve got to their age? (Or have you passed their age already? In which case, I hate to tell you… if it hasn’t happened by now, it’s almost certainly not going to.)

You frown, shake your head and head back to your desk.

You can’t see tomorrow being any different…

Or picture this, if you own your own business:

It’s 8 p.m. Your day’s almost over. You rock back in your office chair, breathe a tired sigh, and reflect on your life as it is at this moment.

On the whole, things are looking pretty good.

It’s been tough going, but four years in, you’re starting to show a modest profit. Of course, you’re still in hock for your setup investment and some of your running costs. And the staff… sufferin’ cats! You sometimes feel that you’re running a day-care center for adults.

The public can be a pain in the rear end, too — but that’s life, and it’s all been worth it to be your own boss.

What’s more, you can see that in a few more years, you’ll be able to cut back to just five or six days per week, and maybe spend some daylight hours with your family. Right now, you can’t afford to take time off, and as for chasing that little ball around the fairways (or the court) — well, for now the memories will have to suffice.

You drop a Rolaids to quell your heartburn. Naturally, you’re a bit stressed-out.

It’s still a big job to manage the cash flow… pay the bills… keep the customers happy… put out the fires… plan ahead… deal with suppliers, the bank, and the regulators… bring in new business… keep your spouse onside… stay abreast of the latest developments… keep one jump ahead of the competition — phew, who wouldn’t be stressed?

You notice the time, and turn back to the pile of bills on your desk…

Now picture this…

It’s 11 a.m. You lean back on your poolside lounge, breathe a contented sigh, and reflect on your life as it is at this moment.

On the whole, things are looking very good indeed.

Whatever your past, you now own your own marketing business. An international network marketing business, distributing great products to happy users in numerous countries.

It’s been a fair bit of work, and a big learning curve — but four years in, you’re closing in on a six-figure income. Moreover, your costs are low, so it’s 80 to 90 percent profit. You’ve finally fired your boss (or sold your other business).

Of course, your cash hasn’t been idle. You’ve made some extra inroads into your mortgage, and paid down that burdensome credit card debt. But it hasn’t all been catch-up — you’ve traded in that old clunker on an immaculate, late-model sedan. Plus you beautified the house, landscaped the garden, and put in a pool.

Not to mention those all-expenses-paid trips you and your spouse have enjoyed, along with other high achievers and executives in your company. Plenty of time to play and shop, great memories, and lots more to come!

You think back to when your traditional business (or job) consumed your every waking hour. And even robbed you of sleep, at times. “How did I do it?” you ask yourself silently. You shake your head; a smile creases the corners of your mouth.

Now you have neither a boss, nor employees… you only work with principals. Your sprinkling of customers mostly service themselves. You’re not tied to a fixed location — instead, you work rent-free at home. (Or wherever you happen to be in your travels.) You don’t have to worry about paperwork, stock, debtors or creditors; you just check your volume reports online to see how your sales organization is doing, and where you can inject some assistance.

Your business is not in hock to the bank — in fact, you’re well and truly cash-flow positive. Every week or month, like clockwork, your bank account is credited with commissions and bonuses, or your check arrives in the mail.

And best of all… you have a brand new set of clubs that you actually get to USE regularly! (Or mountain bike, or boat, or fill in the blank.)

You notice the time, and call to your spouse, “Honey, did you reserve us a table for lunch? Don’t forget, we’ll be taking Fred and Jan to congratulate them on reaching ruby exec…”

Now I’m not saying any of these scenarios is best for you — but excuse me if I love the network marketing business! You see, it’s not the MLM concept that’s wrong: it’s the pre-modern world of traditional business and jobs.

My only comment to you is this: if YOU feel that scenario three is more appealing than one or two — or whatever your own situation is right now — then you owe it to yourself to investigate ways where you could put yourself in that picture.

Coastal Vacation Scams Equal Bad Vacations

Coastal vacation scam artists take people’s money with promises of phony vacations. Many of these offers use words like “cheap Hawaiian vacation” to lure travelers.

Most people dream of taking a coastal vacation. They may hope for a cheap Hawaiian vacation package or dream of a coastal vacation resort weekend. But many coastal vacation scams disguise themselves as legitimate offers. Police report an increase in coastal vacation scams in recent years.

The Internet spawned a new breed of coastal vacation scam artist wanting to cheat honest consumers out of their money. Anyone who types in cheap Hawaiian vacation package into a “Google” search engine will find over one million his. The Federal Trade Commission reported 3,600 consumers scammed in 2002, amounting to $3.5 million. How can consumers tell the difference between a coastal vacation scam and an honest cheap vacation package?

1. Many people operating coastal vacation scams will ask for a credit card or other financial information early in the conversation. Many of these so-called vacation companies want consumers to give their financial information online for a “cheap Hawaiian vacation.” The desire by the company to receive financial information before the consumer feel comfortable doing so should indicate a red flag and a possible coastal vacation scam.

Many cases of identity fraud started with coastal vacation scams. Consumers receive their bank or credit card statements and find that in addition to their “cheap Hawaiian vacation,” charges of cash advances and purchases of high-dollar merchandise. Consumers who fall prey to identity fraud should contact their local law enforcement immediately about the coastal vacation scam.

2. The company operating coastal vacation scams will offer the consumer very little details about the planned trip. The person on the other line, on the phone or on the Internet, will offer constant assurances the hotel in the cheap Hawaiian vacation package features Oceanside views, luxuries rooms and private balconies—very broad descriptions. The “seller” of the coastal vacation scam may claim they stayed there many times but cannot give specifics.

The company asks the consumer not to contact the hotel or resort directly about the vacation package, another sign of a coastal vacation scam. If the consumer cannot confirm the reservations with the hotel directly, the consumer should look elsewhere for a cheap Hawaiian vacation. Consumers should get the details and take charge of their coastal vacation and not fall prey to coastal vacation scams.

3. Coastal vacation scam artists use word like “free” or “vacation offer.” Often these so-called “offers” include a daylong presentation before families can use their free tickets–a common coastal vacation scam technique. If consumers cannot see the islands on their cheap Hawaiian vacation and must sit through lengthy presentations, the vacation may not seem so “cheap.”

4. The Better Business Bureau and other government agencies maintain lists of coastal vacation scams. Smart consumers check these lists and report any contact by these coastal vacation scam artists. One of the more popular ruses offers a cheap Hawaiian vacation or a cheap family vacation package.

Fear of a coastal vacation scam should not keep consumers from seeking out great vacation deals, like a cheap Hawaiian vacation. Many companies offer legitimate family vacation packages and an honest travel incentive program that saves families even more money on their vacation costs. Coastal vacation scams should not discourage travelers.

Why The Right MLM Opportunity Training Is A Must In The Internet Age

Let’s face it, with the advent of the internet, the business world is moving faster and faster. And the MLM world is no exception. In addition, the mlm opportunity training an organization receives must be able to keep up.

So what does this mean to you? Well, if you’re serious about success in network marketing today, you’ve got 2 choices: You can either continue doing mlm the slow old fashioned way (which worked decades ago) or you can educate yourself with mlm opportunity training that’s up-to-date with today’s hi-tech strategies and tactics.

So what can internet-age mlm training do for you? Well, just consider this:

1. Why spend hours at the mall handing out fliers or business cards when a single pay-per-click ad on Google can literally put you in front of 1000’s of people who are already looking for what you’ve got? (And no, it doesn’t have to be expensive.)

2. Why drive all over town to do 1, 2, or 3 one-on-one presentations a day in a noisy restaurant when you can legally email a full “presentation” to 100’s of prospects from home?

3. Why spend your hard-earned money on lousy biz op leads when you can generate your own endless free leads the same way the lead companies do? (Did you know you can even get them to pay you whether they join your business or not?)

4. Why waste time and energy trying to recruit uncle Bob who has no interest or business experience when you can build a downline of internet savvy entrepreneurs on auto-pilot?

Starting to get the picture?

OK, so where do you find this hi-tech mlm opportunity training? On the internet, of course. I’ve listed a few key words with definitions you can search for on Google to help you find the programs that are right for you.

1. Lead Capture Pages - Use these to “capture” the contact information of people who are looking online for your products or services and turn them into prospects.

2. Pay-per-click Advertising - Learn the right way to send people running to your lead capture pages. (Never send them to your company replicated web-site!)

3. Auto-responders - These send emails legally to your prospects and present your business for you 24/7 (and send money to your bank account).

4. Copywriting - (Not copyrighting) This is the secret million $ skill that shows you how to write ads that pull in prospects and letters that compel prospects to buy.

5. Domain Registration - Create website names and email addresses that present a professional image and magnetically attract prospects and customers right to you.

WHY Network Marketing? How Network Marketing?

Do you love network marketing? Do you know that network marketing is the vehicle to create a recurring income for life? Do you have realistic expectations of network marketing? Were you promised you could join, work a few hours a week and get rich in no time?

I’m here to tell you the TRUTH. Network marketing can be the vehicle to create a recurring income for life. Can it happen overnight? NO.

Think of it like this: Bamboo grows mainly under the ground. It’s roots spread out and cover a great area. This takes time. Each year, bamboo only grows a few feet. After 5 years or so, bamboo will all of a sudden shoot up over 30 feet. This is because it spent the majority of it’s time in the first 5 years growing solid roots into the ground. Only after the root system is solid, does the bamboo really begin to flourish and grow tall and strong.

Be bamboo!! Build a good solid foundation. Network marketing takes time. It is a relationship business. Build good, solid relationships that will last a lifetime BEFORE you sponsor the person into your organization. It is important that you let your prospects get to know you. And you get to know them. This way, you will know up front if you are going to be able to work together.

We can look at it this way: A friend of mine is starting college this year. He gets to struggle for 4-5 years while studying/attending classes during the day and working at night (outside the home) to pay for tuition. He is learning a trade that will eventually allow him to (in 4 or 5 years) BEGIN his career by helping make some lucky business owner rich. (I’m not saying college is bad. I went to college and my kids will go to college.)

I am beginning my network marketing career with a new company this year. I will work 15 - 20 hours a week for 5 - 10 years and have the financial and time freedom to do the things I want to do. I will probably continue to work and continue to increase my RESIDUAL income, but I won’t HAVE to.

Much has been talked about the conference call training sessions organized by the network marketing leaders. Some of these are no ordinary speakers and trainers, for example, Dani Johnson, Ellie Drake, Tracy Biller, Myron Golden and Doug Firebaugh, Jeffery Combs to name a few. The flair with which these leaders speak makes all the difference and enables people in your enterprise to replicate what they have learnt for getting better results in their business. You may read those books and may also benefit in your business, but if you haven’t yet attended one of these speakers’ calls, you have refrained yourself from getting that personal attention from them. It’s as simple: when you read, the ideas are the writer’s and the interpretation is yours. Many a time, there could be a glaring gap between the two. And that’s when you commit mistakes in your learning process. But when you hear the same content from its writer, his or her fine intonations make you think and interpret differently but in sync with his or her ideas. There is then a complete harmony between the two.

The biggest merit of adopting this channel of learning is that it’s free and one gets all the training or education while sitting within the confines of home! On an average a trainer conducts 3 such calls per week. The speakers in these training sessions are totally detached from any company and its products when they talk over the phone. They do not ever refer to any particular company or product. What they focus on is attempting to nurture the right values in their listeners so that they can become better entrepreneurs. The sessions over the phone are so transformational and cathartic that the audiences end up discovering their inner selves and develop a new outlook towards the major aspects of their lives – work, family and financial freedom.

The company conference calls, on the other hand, are good for increasing one’s knowledge about a particular company and its products or services. As an entrepreneur, one can get a lot of information about the profile of the company he or she is associated with. Also, if an individual is only interested in becoming the customer of a company, such calls could be highly informative.

Both the types of calls play a vital role in the growth of home business industry but still have different purposes.
