Best Product Launching - Ways to Launch a Product II

Since I used the bulk of part I to rant about why I launch products the way I do, I will use part II to talk about how I do it.

So this is the idea. You see, I have a very simple theory about web business – and here it is: the only two things that matter are traffic and conversions.

If you multiple your traffic times your conversions times your average price, you have your income. So if you want more income, you change either traffic or conversions or the price and your income goes up.

So the first thing to talk about here when launching a product is to get it in front of the right people. Notice I say right people – not just lots of traffic. But you have to get it to the eyeballs of lots of people. And how do you get lots of people on cue, to look at your new product sales page? – here is how I do it – you build a big list, and then if you want people to see your sales page, you send it to your list.

So that is how I do a product launch (I explain in part I why I don’t do it the way everybody else does it).

And the initial list is built – that is the traffic part of the equation – by writing articles like this and putting links in the bottom of the article for people to click.

That is called article marketing. So now you have it – my system – write articles, people click, subscribe, then I send them to my new product – then they buy – it really is easy.

Best Product Launching - Ways to Launch a Product I

Launching a product is not really my specialty, but since I have launched 7 products in the last 8 months, I guess I am a little qualified to talk about it.

What I think is important to understand is that I am not into million dollar launches.

You see, I did some math when I first got started.

I figure there are only a few million dollar launches – but most of the big launches are maybe 50,000 dollar launches.

So the guy decides he is going to use an affiliate processor to do the payments for him – and they charge a few percent. Plus he gives out 70% commission to get his big launch.

So let us so he keeps 25% of the money that comes in.

So on a $50,000 launch he makes $12,500. Which is cool. But since his method of operation is to build these products, then let the market wear out the product by everybody promoting it, he has to come up with a new one next month – just to keep the money coming in.

The way I see it, right now I am at $12,000 per month – and the only people I sell to are the people on my list. You see, I don’t have to give away 75% of every dollar that comes in – so to make the same amount of money, I don’t have to work as hard. And since I do not have an army of affiliates, then I don’t have all of that headache.

And one more thing – since I am only selling ¼ as many total products – my customer service is ¼ of theirs.

Anyhow, that is my soapbox on product launches.

Product Launching – How to Launch Your Product

A product launch on the Internet is slightly different than one offline. The most basic choice is whether you want any partners and if so how many. Whatever the case might be the product launch has to yield what you expect of it. Here are some steps that will help you launch your product successfully.

First, set a launch date and make sure you keep it. If it seems too close then set it back by as much as required so you can get everything done in time but do not set it too close and then get caught unprepared. Once the date is set you need to contact all your existing customers, prospects, and leads to inform them that the new product is coming soon. Email them several times, but do not spam, reminding that of the approaching date and also include features to keep them excited about it.
Have your sales page ready to accept the new traffic. Create an autoresponder feature in this page so visitors can subscribe to the list and stay informed of new developments before the launch. Creating such a list is one of the most effective ways of expanding your customer base.

Your sales page must be responsive so that on the day of the launch it changes from autoresponder to a page with order and payment options. Test all aspects of the sales page thoroughly because any errors at this point will destroy your credibility. The launch itself is the most critical aspect so your website must be working perfectly at that time.

Are Free Work At Home Opportunities Really Free?

You may come across advertisements online that offer free
work at home opportunities, however their version of “free”
might be different than what you had in mind.

Most free work at home programs are simply franchise
opportunities. You can put your name on their web page and
they will advertise it for you. The company you are
sending your name to usually has already spent a lot of
cash just developing their website, along with the
software they use which enables you to have the same
website only with your name on it.

The problem that arises due to this website replication
is that customers come from across the globe. If there
are thousands of websites that all look exactly alike,
it becomes more difficult to attract visitors to your
copy of the website and receive a commission for sales
that you make. You need to make your website
stand apart from the others.

You could develop a free blog where you discuss the products
that you are promoting. This could draw in several
visitors to your site if you post your unique URL in your
blog.

Advertising is required to get people to your website.
Without advertising, you may as well not be in business.
You can increase your searching engine ranking by making
your site look more attractive.

In addition, some companies that provide you with a free
website also recommend various marketing opportunities.
This option will not be free, however the money you make
on sales may pay for the cost of advertising.

Tips On Becoming An Internet Marketer

Are you just new to internet marketing? If so what sparked your interest in wanting to know more about ecommerce? Are you tired of your job and looking to make internet marketing a full time career? Are you struggling with bills and feel this is a way to make extra income? Are you a college student who happens to be a computer wiz with a creative mind and business acumen? Are you a housewife with time on your hands who is anxious to contribute towards the family income?

If you fit any of these descriptions, you are probably highly motivated and a good candidate to experience success in the internet marketing world. It may be, some of you already have a website. If so you are already a few steps ahead of the game.

One of the hardest parts in getting started is to find a product to promote. What are you good at? What are your strong points, your weak points? If you’ve had a job you were very knowledgeable about, perhaps you can pass valuable information on to others. This could be done in the form of an ebook.

Possibly you have a hobby such as coin collecting or wood crafting in which you could find a niche market. Remember your product can be other than informational. If your hobby is making hand puppets you would be dealing in tangible products. This would require more time in the handling of your product as opposed to an informational product.

Once you have a product to promote, go on the internet and find out everything you can about it. Do a search to find out what your competition is like. Don’t get discouraged if there are millions of sites already promoting your product. You may find the perfect niche. Since this product is already popular and something others are looking for, you’ll have plenty of traffic being directed your way. This can translate into much more of a positive than a negative.

With your product idea firmly in place, learn all you can about all phases of internet marketing. Concentrate on the following: website building, affiliate marketing, traffic building, pay per click advertising, list building, auto responders, article writing, ebooks and ecourses. If you master these elements of internet marketing you will greatly improve your chances of success.

Product Launching Secrets – What The Experts Don’t Want You To Know I

When you want to launch a new product what do you do? Normally you would upload it to your server then design a sales page for it. Then you would advertise it as much as you possibly could. That is how the internet experts do it as well, but there are certain product launching secrets that only the internet gurus know: marketing and advertising secrets that the experts don’t want you to know.

For example, they would rather you did not know that on average people do not purchase a product until they have been exposed to it seven or eight times. That means that your single emailing to your list informing them of your latest product is pretty much worthless unless you follow it up with another six or seven at regular intervals. Of course, you can’t just send the same email each time.

You have to write a series of info-letters or newsletters, cleverly mentioning your product somewhere in each. You then program your autoresponder to send these at set intervals. Initially to your whole list, and also to new members of your list individually, as they register. There are many marketing techniques like this that the experts use and are not telling you about.

Take TV advertising. You and your children might not know it, but consistent exposure to a product conditions you into purchasing it. You may only subconsciously be aware of a TV advert for a specific brand of washing powder, or your children may see several adverts for the same toy, and the time comes that you have been exposed in this way so many times that when you are shopping you feel practically compelled to purchase that brand, and your child must have that specific toy. Studies have proved that it’s not always a conscious decision. It’s due to conditioning by repeated exposure, and it works on the internet just as it does on TV.

Product Launching Secrets – What The Experts Don’t Want You To Know II

You have been informed so many times that a particular powder washes whiter than any other that when you have to replace your washing powder, that one immediately comes to mind. In the same way, if you are looking for article directory submission software, you have been informed several times that that particular software submits quicker, and to more directories, than any other, so you feel that it must be just what you are looking for. Why waste time? Just click on the link in your latest email.

More product launching secrets that the experts don’t want you to know about are the up-sell and the backend products. You’ve probably come across this, but how often have you actually used it yourself. You purchase what seems to be a great offer at a low price. You pay for it and click to download it, but before the download up pops a page that says:

“Wait! Before you download your product check out our one-time offer below! If you don’t accept it now you will never be offered it again!”

You scan down the page and there is the Mark 2 version of your purchase. For an extra $27 you can get this great new advanced version that will shortly be selling for $97, but all you will be paying in total is the $20 you already paid for the Mark 1, plus an extra $27 making a fantastic total of only $47 – a saving of $50. How can you refuse? But if you do, you will not get another chance.

Product Launching Secrets – What the Experts Don’t Want You to Know III

Product Launching Secrets – What the Experts Don’t Want You to Know III

This is the ‘one-time offer’ ploy. It is also an example of an up-sell. You originally wanted the tempting offer of the $20 software, but what you are being told in effect is that having paid the $20, your purchase is not really that good. In fact it is next to useless and you need to part with another $27 to get the real thing.

What the marketer has done here is rather than advertise a product at $47, a price that might deter customers from buying, it has been offered in two lots of $20 and $27. Since the $20 has just been paid, the customer is psychologically more prepared to pay ‘only’ another $27 to get the real McCoy. Especially since it is to go up to $97 ‘shortly’. To further persuade you to accept the up-sell, there are usually some free offers thrown in. You virtually have the option of paying up or asking for your $20 back. Most people do not like asking for their money back so the experts know they will pay up the other $27.

That’s yet another marketing ploy they don’t want you to know. The free offers. Where do they all come from? Usually when you buy a product you are not given the right to give it away free. You can get resale rights or private label rights, but rarely ‘give away free’ rights. Where do they get these?

These are just some of the product launching secrets the internet experts use, some of what the experts don’t want you to know. However, you can now try them yourself and see how they affect your sales.

Velvet Is The New Black

Velvet is the new black. Anyone who has ever picked up a fashion magazine will have read something like that. But what does it really mean.Let me lay out for you the formula behind this very cleaver marketing idea.

1.Consumers and women in general always what to be at the cutting edge of fashion and home decorating. To have the hottest look before anyone else, right. So if you announce that velvet flowers and beaded lampshades in a vintage style are the coming trend consumers will start looking for just those items.

2.Inside knowledge is like a secret that nobody else knows. The thinking behind this is “maybe I was the only one who read that article about a return to romance and vintage velvet style…”

3.By creating a buzz around your product you cut down on the amount of advertising you need to do because you customers do it for you by “letting others in on the hot new trend”

4.Always make sure that your product is unique and different from whats hot at the time. e.g “Minimalist Interiors” and the soft vintage “Velvet Attic” style. Point out the advantages to your new product.

5.Always look for a chance for product placement even if this means a few give always.

In short use what nature has given us a strong desire to be curious and a drive to be at the fore front of fashion. For examples of the new velvet style go to www.thevelvetattic.com.au before you know it everyone else will and you will be wondering why you missed the boat on this hot new fashion statement.
