Understanding Personal Power

Your thoughts are affected by your attitude. Your attitude is affected by the people you surround yourself with. Mental attitude will be positive if you are with positive can-do attitude rather than those who have a negative, it is all too difficult, why bother attitude. When a person can maintain a positive attitude they will find that they have a higher level of energy thus allowing them to have a greater degree of personal power.

Positive attitude’s lead to finding interesting opportunities that can benefit everyone around you. With this attitude mountains will turn into molehills. Whereas a negative attitude can cause you to have major setbacks. Personal power comes through positive mental attitude. When a positive attitude is in place it attracts others who can help them, it attracts people with solutions to problems, and it will develop and strengthen your own personal power ultimately leading to your own success.

Anyone has the ability to tap into the power of a positive attitude. With persistence and effort you can gradually change your thoughts into predominantly positive ones. The process of change is not as daunting as it may seem. The first step to understanding how personal power works is to step back and watch yourself and the events as they unfold. Try to determine what attitude you are having in any given situation. It maybe helpful to write down each night the events of the day and in a column next to it write down what attitude you had during the event. When you have an event in black and white on a piece of paper it is easier to look back objectively at how you handled the situation.

The real key is to add the third column. This is how to develop your own personal power. Write down the ways you could have handled the situation in a more positive light. This will allow you to see where changes are needed. By keeping a record it allows you to see the progress you are making.

As days unfold, begin to work on the areas you have identified in your inventory. You will see the amazing difference small changes are having in tapping into your own personal power. Having the ability to look at your mind set on paper enables you to understand in a completely objective way what your strengths and weaknesses are. This is the secret to understanding your personal power and making it work for you.

Is Workplace Stress A Killer?

The leading causes of death in the US are: heart disease, cancer and stroke-in that order. What affect does job stress have on your risk for any (or all) of these? PLENTY!

Research has proven that workplace stress jeopardizes a person’s health, regardless of other contributing factors such as smoking, diet, and lack of exercise. AARP magazine recently ran a story about a muscular 51-year-old marathon runner and Ironman triathlete-one fit guy right? WRONG! Five of his heart arteries were blocked at least 90% each!

How can this be? Stress proved to be the culprit…the chemicals released when we’re stressed cause blood to thicken and put us at risk of clogged arteries, heart attacks and strokes.

Recent studies have linked stress to cancer growth. Research reported in the journal Nature Medicine caused the medical community to take notice.

When mice with tumors were studied, the stressed mice had a tumor growth rate of 275% more than nonstressed mice and metastasis in the stressed mice was 50% higher. Researchers discovered receptors for the chemical adrenaline, released during stress, on the tumor cells! Proof positive that stress was contributing to the growth of the cancer.

“Violence is the antithesis to understanding. We have to create understanding. Understanding is a positive thing. Man is his Understanding.”

To understand is to Know. To know is to be able to see the cause and effect in all the events in your life.

To understand is to see and know the working out of the Law of Three, (You; the other and the realationship between) in all your relationships.

To become violent to any person, place or event is to not understand the cause of that event, nor to understand your relationship to that person, place or event.

Quantum Physics tells us that thoughts are things. It also tells us that our thoughts create our reality. This is done because our thoughts reach into the infinite ocean of intelligent thinking substance, called the Quantum Ocean, Mind of God. These thoughts then create our physical reality around us.

If there is a person, place or event in your life that is about to move you to violence, then you do not understand. You do not understand the cause of the event. You caused it. You attracted it. You also do not understand your relationship to that event. What is it you have to learn from it?

There is an old Chinese proverb, which when I first heard it, I did not like it or understand it. It goes like this: “The murdered person is as guilty as the murderer.” Now I understand it.

Keep in mind that the Karma attached to every event you cause in your life is judged good or bad by your MOTIVE.

Each of us in the course of our daily living must create understanding. We must understand the cause and the relationship of every person, place, or event that enters our life on a daily basis.

Understanding can only be positive for it follows the Natural Laws of Quantum Ocean, Mind of God.

You are the sum total of your understanding. What you understand you know. What you KNOW you are.

The place that each of us attains in the hierarchy of things is the sum total of our level of being (state of consciousness.) And our level of understanding.

Every time we truly understand the cause and the relationship of every person, place or thing that enters our life, we raise our level of consciousness ever so slightly. One cannot exist without the other. To understand cause and effect, and the Law of Three of Relationships, puts you at a level of unconsciousness above the level of consciousness of Massive Society.

To raise your level of consciousness, even a little, above the level of mass man (unconscious man) is to be able to understand the Laws of Cause and Effect in your life; as well as the Law of Three in Relationships.

The Power Of Thought

Our thoughts influence not only our actions, but also how we function and exist in the universe. According to the Law of Attraction, like attracts like, so when your thoughts are positive, you attract positivity to your life. Likewise, negative thoughts can bring negativity to your life. In short, the key to getting the things that you want in life lie in your thoughts. Thought has long been used for centuries as a way of directing a person’s life and helping them achieve the things that they want. It is amazing what positive thinking can do for your life.

Basically, there are three categories of thoughts. Once you are able to identify the category that the majority of your thoughts fall in to, you can change your way of thinking to better reflect and attract the life that you want. The three categories, positive thoughts, action thoughts and worry thoughts, each have their place in your life, but when certain ones like worry thoughts dominate your thinking, the positivity is sucked out of your life.

Positive Thoughts

When you are using the Laws of Attraction to attract good things to your life, positive thoughts are your most valuable and powerful tool. Like attracts like, so when you project positive thoughts into the universe, you will attract positive things in return. In other words, good things will happen to you. Now, there is a method to positive thinking. If you derive joy from thinking about someone else’s pain or downfall, this is not positive thinking. Even if it brings you joy, it brings someone else pain and sadness which defies the Laws of the Universe. Keep your thoughts positive if you want to attract positive things.

Action Thoughts

When you begin to devise a plan to get the things that you want, you are putting action thoughts to work. Action thoughts tell you what you should do. They help you give your positive thoughts wings to fly. When you are sending out your positive thoughts, or the you are thinking about the things that you want in life, the next step that you take toward putting those thoughts into action are action thoughts.

Worry Thoughts

Many people give in to worry thoughts, becoming consumed with the prospect of what may go wrong in a situation, what bad things might happen and how they may fail at something. Quite often, people who live with worry thoughts are not even aware of the negativity that they are attracting. They go through their day working off of a mental checklist that is constantly asking “what if.” These people generally believe that their thoughts and emotions are things that they can not control. They cling to their worry thoughts, defending them vehemently, justifying them by maintaining that if they don’t worry then they are not doing everything that they possibly could to prevent something bad or negative from happening.

Your thoughts most definitely influence your actions and where you go in your life. The Law of Attraction is working in all of use. Once you learn how to work with it, you can have anything that you want. Once you know to use your thoughts to get the things that you want in life, you will have successfully harnessed the power of positive thinking.

Reflections in the Mirror

The metaphorical comparison “life is like a mirror” is more of a reality than most would believe. When looking at the back side of a mirror there is no reflection. It is like your mental state, your mind set (positive or negative) and your emotions. No one sees the backside of a mirror, just as no on sees the inside of a person. The front side is a reflective surface. It is the reflection of how you perceive the world sees you by the results you are achieving in the world.

In other words, the internal mental state creates your perception of the external world. Breaking it down even further, your mind set or mental state influences what you take for actions and reactions to the world around you. With this philosophy it would mean when you have a positive mental state and attitude - positive actions and reactions come easily. If you have a negative mental state or attitude - all of life seems too much to handle.

Either mind set has a direct correlation to your behaviors and decisions affecting anyone around you. Further any results that you get are affected. Negative and pessimistic people will attract negativity in their life never achieving true happiness or success. The ironic part is that the results that are obtained along with the people you attract will influence what you perceive in your world. Your perceptions influence your mental mindset completing the circle of reflection.

There is some good news with this theory. It is the only thing that you can control - your mindset or your perception of life. You can choose to see all negative aspects of a situation or all of the positive aspects of a situation. Either choice will control your mind set. This gives you the power of whether life is a true reflection of what the mirror sees. You can create the world you want to have. You can create the success you want to have. You can create the life you want to have. But you have to start with change. Changing your world means changing your mind set. If you want to have better results from your decisions, you have to make better decisions. To make better decisions, you have to change your mindset to the positive setting. When you are proactive, you are truly free, no longer controlled by circumstance.

How you respond to your surroundings, people, and circumstances can be changed by having a proactive outlook. It has to start with what is written on the back of the mirror. You can change the reflection. You are the only who can change it.

Self-hypnosis can be a fantastic instrument for goal setting and self-improvement. The majority of people are amazed at how simple it is to pick up self-hypnosis. And self-hypnosis, successively, makes many things much easier.

A Personal Business Plan

Most people actually set out to have the things that they want to have in their lives. They set out to have more time, more money, improve their lives and become successful. The reality is, however, that most people are rarely successful. They end up endlessly running in circles, working harder, longer hours all in a fruitless effort to reach their goals. Most end up with a life that is completely out of balance, full of constant worry and stress, and the relationships never improve only worsen with the stress.

There is another way to get off the “mice wheel” and stop running in circles. There are many “success” formula’s out there, however, any that are effective boil down to some basic simple principles.

* Being you - Being Proactive - Being Positive
* Doing actions of proactive and positive nature
* Having your desires as a result of being and doing.

Sounds to simple to have any real power to change. IN order to have any significantly different results in your life the doing and being phases are going to require a great deal of change. Profound changes in fact, that will change the being that is is yourself. In some cases a dramatic overhaul of being yourself will have to be made.

In order to being the change of being, you need to know what sort of being that you need to be in order to come to a place of having everything you desire. Once you know who you need to be, the next step is to look at who you are and see what is it exactly that you need to change. When you realize where you are deficient it allows you to learn and practice any new knowledge and skills you don’t currently have. A new skill is not something that can be read once in a book or even heard once in a seminar, it is something that you need to learn, practice, internalize absorb and finally internalize it within so that it becomes a part of your being without thought.

This process can take a long period of time and will not happen overnight. Some of these changes will make your being a completely different being inside. It is this growth that allows the having to happen almost effortlessly. It is very much like setting up a business plan for who your being is and the objectives that need to be met in order to obtain your mission statement. If a plan is not laid out one can become lost and not be able to find their way back. In having a plan chances are less that you will not end up frantically trying to figure out how you got lost and how to get around the obstacle in front of you.

Some other things to consider in writing your personal formula or your personal business plan are:

* Focus - your plan has to have focus on where you are going and how it will draw you magnetically towards your destination

* Steps - your plan will have to show you step by step what needs to be done to break down the steps into manageable and achievable steps.

* Mind set - your plan needs to include positive reinforcement steps when any set backs occur. Plan for set backs and how you are going to handle them.

* Believe - you absolutely need to have a belief in the pathway you have laid out. Belief that it will work so that other fads won’t deter you.

* Milestones - your plan should have short term goals; as well as long term goals. This will allow you to stop and look back to see how you have achieved the milestones in changing your being. When a milestone has been reaching in changing something about your being - Celebrate it.

Remember, that nay plan is a living document. What this really means is that like any business plan, it may need to make changes and adjustments to the plan as you go along. That is the benefit of having it written down. By having the plan written out, you have all the information necessary to consider how to get around any given obstacle. Your plan will help you understand who you are, who you need to be, and how to get there. Arriving there means that you are doing all the things necessary to be having all the things that you desire.

We are all in business and we all have a life to live. Our business is securing the sustenance required to survive and that we deem important to comfort and continuation such as:

  • Food and drink
